In short

Father’s Day on The Hauraki Big Show—listeners call in with compliments for dads, plus themed games, prizes, and sports/TV chat. The show also promotes giveaways for Fiji golf/swingers club trips, backyard makeovers, and car/motorbike upgrades.

Guests (called/featured)

  • Diane: healthcare assistant; praises partner Mike (dishes/cooks dinner; 16 years together).
  • Hannah: teacher; praises partner Adam (“neat”); one child (1-year-old); 6 years together.
  • Ian: dairy farmer; entering Fiji golf/swingers club draw; would take his wife.
  • Sam: project manager; entering Fiji golf draw; would take two mates; handicap ~17.

Key claims/examples

  • Father’s Day cards for dads are usually generic; the show invites anonymous praise to “fuel” husbands.
  • Warriors are “garbage at home” (about 70% losses) and need improvement before finals.
  • Pantera “25 Years” throbber was heavily swearing; leads to “asterisk” scoring and complaints.
  • Fiji trip draw: winners get flights/accommodation; golf choices framed around taking spouse vs mates.

0:00The Hauraki Big Show. Thanks to crave-worthy street food. Freshly made with Reburger. Welcome to the biggest show on earth. Our biggest show. The biggest. Biggest. This is big. The Hauraki Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keezy. G'day you mad bastards. Great to have you company this moody Friday afternoon. The 5th of September 2025 and you my friends as always listening to The Big Show brought to you by Reburger. Beef, chicken, vegan and vegetarian options. Reburger, redefining the norm. Yummy. Mogi, God. Yeah, I know. You're such a stallion, man. Oh, my God. I mean, that's not my favourite.

0:40It doesn't matter what you wear. Let's be honest. You always look hot. How's life?

0:44Jase:Oh, going pretty grousy, you mad dog. You're sick, son of a bee. You know, I'm seven days into not drinking, man. We've got a trip to Fiji coming up, obviously, the Swingers Club. Stick around to get into the draw for that. Not you, pug, son, man. You can't get in the draw for that, mate. Yeah, man, I'm just sort of bringing you into the chat, but don't expect to be able to enter these competitions, right? That's not for you. Okay, maybe don't look at me when you're saying it. And, you know, today is a beautiful, warm day. Yes. And you know what kind of weather it is, man? It's drinking weather.

1:14Jase:So it's a real strain on my limited self-will for me to be able to get through this weekend without sinking a few brews. Well, and, you know, it's Friday as well. You know what I mean? And the waz are on tonight. And the waz. And I've got a mate coming over. Oh, God. You see, we have to run the gauntlet when we go to the car every day because there's two pubs on the corner. And in summertime, she's a real nightmare. Oh, you've never mentioned it. Because people just sit there drinking their cool lagers and it's like, you sons of bitches. And you're always like, oh, I bet they make a bit of money that bar.

1:48Yeah, totally. Hey, speaking of studs, I mean, he's got a massive head, but he's a good-looking fowler. G'day, pug son. How's life?

1:55Jase:Well, there's more to love with a dome like that, man. That's true. He's a good-looking man. He's got the size of that head. I know, man. Thanks, guys. Those headphones are bursting. I know. I wish I could say it was my brain, but it's not. It's just a fat old dome piece. No, it's a great head. Really, it's one of the best heads I've seen. It's great to have you, Pugs, son. It's been a while since you've been in the studio with us. Of course, old Kesey on his stag. We'll be giving him a call a little bit later on just to check in. Hey, man, that's my job, man. It's my job. Can you play the sting, man?

2:25Jase:Oh, yeah, sorry. I don't know where it is. Well, we've got old Pugs on. He's on the buttons today. He doesn't know which way's up, if I could put it to you that way. So true, man. To let you know what's on the show today, as mentioned, you will have yet another opportunity, maybe even two opportunities, Jase, to get involved with a swingers club. We're going to Fiji. We're going to play golf. We want two lucky sons of bees or daughters of bees to come and join us. Yeah, man. We'll be calling Keezy, who, given the time, I'd imagine is absolutely hammered. He's at a two-day stag do. Yes. So we'll see how he's going down there.

2:58Jase:There'll be a little bit of All Blacks chat with a huge game happening tomorrow night up at Eden Park. And, of course, there'll be a bit of Father's Day yarns as well. So she's a packed show. And the throbber. Yeah, man. Yeah, man. Same show. She's all on today, that's for sure. And then we're going to just start off with an absolute rip snorter. Turn it up, lie down, close your eyes and go to sleep. It's walk. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. Smashing pumpkins there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show. This Friday afternoon, thank God for that. 15 minutes past four o 'clock in Fialos.

3:34Massive day, Mogi. For you and I especially, actually. This Sunday, of course. The huge celebration. I don't know what it's like in your household. In my household, it is huge.

3:46Jase:The build-up has been unreal around at my joint. Same. There's been meetings in secret. There's been conference calls. Yeah. Huge boxes been rolling in for weeks off Trade Me and, you know, your Amazon. You name it. Just this morning, I was walking into a room and my wife was like, don't come in, don't come in. Yeah. But that's because she was nude, actually. I don't think it had anything to do with the presence and death. You were saying she's been having heaps of late-night calls. Sort of planning for it? Planning, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Mother's Day, man. Yeah, yeah. It is huge in my household, you know.

4:20and I remember back in the day, because of my four girls, of course, it was a big day for them as well. Well, you'd think it was. You'd expect it would be. You'd think so, wouldn't you? But nothing really tended to happen, and I'd drop the odd little hint or whatever. I mean, Mother's Day. My God.

4:45Jase:It's like it all gets used up, eh? Yes. For Mother's Day, all the emotion, all the love has been, there's this huge outpouring, you know, whenever that is, earlier in the year, I think. And, jeez, man, the kids have got a million ideas about all the beautiful things that they want to do. Yes. But when it comes to Father's Day, jeez, they're stumped. Yeah. You know, and I remember many times, Moggy, reading my, you know, the cards that my daughters wrote for my wife on Mother's Day. I was brought to tears. Yeah. Brought to tears with emotion. We love you so much. Best mum ever. That's right. I don't know what we'd do without you.

5:25You're the backbone. Yeah. All that sort of stuff. When you get a Father's Day card,

5:29Jase:it was just the one that came with the card and sort of your daughter would just sign their name. Yeah. And usually, you know, there wouldn't be any kisses or anything like that. No. And they have a little generic message. Hey, what a great dad you are. Yes. You know, and then Millie and Bill. Yeah. That's so cool, man. But I think what we want to do today is probably provide an opportunity for the wives out there. Agreed. For the mothers to be able to come on, give us a call, text us, talk backs on your iHeartRadio app there, and just pump up the tyres of the husband in your life, the father to your kids.

6:13Jase:Yeah, man. You know, I know you've probably got a pretty hard and fast rule about not giving your husband any compliments to his face. So we're going to provide you a platform to do it here where you don't have to do it to his face. You can do it on air, over the radio, practically anonymous, but dedicate it to them. Yes. Like a confessional. Yeah, so they can hear that you love them without you actually having to show them any kind of... And just think really hard. Yeah. Google it. It isn't easy, but think really hard. There's got to be something. Yes. There's got to be something there that's positive about your hubby or your partner who's a dad.

6:55And if you're having any trouble thinking, we've got$50 Reburger vouchers coming out of our ears. Coming out of our ears. Everybody who contributes goes in the draw. Oh, you say that, but I can't get hold of one. They're not for you, man.

7:06Jase:Oh. So give us a call. 0800 Horeki. This one's for the ladies. Oh, Jase, maybe if your daughters call in, Have a few nice words to say about you. Then you can get one. Yeah, it's never going to happen. Yeah, no, I thought not.

7:21The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kesey. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki. Yes, indeed. Queen and David Bowie there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show. Oh, you're good, brother. Bit of salt and vinegar, is it? No. Just something went down the wrong way there. Actually, you're going to have to talk for a second, Bogie. It's all good, brother. It's all good. You want some water, Jace?

7:42Jase:I can see what's going on. The big dog's tearing up there because the texts that have poured in, and we've got phone calls we're going to be going to in a minute. The way that the emotion is poured out from the woman out there, our female listeners for their partners, it makes you tear up, Jase. I'm not surprised you were choked. Yeah. Sorry about that. I was a little bit emotional. And we asked you to call up. We asked you to call up and just have a word. Let us know how much your partner means to you, and, more importantly, to your children. It's an opportunity for your partner there to hear some positive words.

8:18Jase:Yeah. And it's fuel, mate. You get a few kind words from the missus about how awesome she thinks you are, mate. You can conquer the world. Absolutely. And you guys could be enjoying some Reburger if you get amongst it and contribute. Well, look, the phone lines are just going off. Yeah, man. They're blowing up, man. Yeah, they are. G'day, Diane. How's life? Very good, thanks. Good on you, mate. Tell me, Diane, first before we get into how awesome your partner is and what a great, awesome daddy is. What do you do for a crust? What is he? What do you do for a crust? What do you do? Not I. I'm a health care assistant.

8:56Ah, backbone. All right, Diane, fire away. What's so awesome about your lovely partner as a father? Oh, he's just great. Like, I work full time. He does the dishes, he cooks dinner. He doesn't clean the toilet, but that's okay. And he's just an awesome guy, and I love him heaps. And his name is Mike. Oh!

9:23Jase:That's bloody beautiful, mate. You see, I'm getting all emotional again here. It's nice, mate. And how long have you guys been together for? 16 years. Oh, wow, that's awesome. That's how you do it. You're a goddamn backbone, and we've got for you a$50 Reburger voucher, so you can go down to Reburger, order up$50 worth and scoff the lot by yourself in the car park. Good on you there. Good on you, Diane. Thanks, Diane. Stay on the line. I wouldn't do that. Good on you, mate. G'day, Hannah. How's life? Hey, yeah, it's life. Yeah, it is, isn't it? I mean, life is just life. I mean, let's be honest.

9:59What do you do for a crust, Hannah? I'm a teacher. Oh, yeah. Backbone. Backbone, yeah, yeah, yeah. Tell us about your partner. Why is he such an awesome father? Oh, he's just neat. You mean neat as in tidy or he's just a neat guy? He's just a neat guy. Yeah, yeah.

10:20Jase:Well, I mean, that's descriptive. You got anything else? I mean, I don't want you to absolutely go on, but you can be as effusive as you like. Neat is pretty good. Yeah, no, he's just neat. Great. Right. Okay, yeah, cool. Don't get carried away there, Hannah. He's Adam. How long have you been with Adam? Six years. How many kids have you got together there? Just one. Just one-year-old. You're done, are you? One's plenty.

10:58Jase:It's hard to resist that second one, isn't it? Especially when you've got a partner who's so goddamn neat. Neat. Oh, yeah, honestly. Honestly, how can I stop at one when I've got, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Apparently, yeah, it's everything in the house. Apparently, Adam's also listening at the moment. So maybe that's why Hannah's being coy. I can just leave listening to you guys. I can see Adam, he's either on the tour. What does he do for a crust? Did we get that? No. He fixes, cancels and all my wisdoms. Oh, yeah. Yeah, that's fine. So he's on the tours there. He's got a hodaki turned up in his workshop there.

11:30Jase:And all of a sudden, he can't see what's going on because he was blinded by the tears pouring out of them. Well, that's what happened to me at the start there, fella. I was reading all these hundreds of texts and I was just overcome with emotion. Just stuffing your face with chaps. Yeah, because I was so upset. Oh, mate. Well, Hannah, you've also got yourself a$50 Reburger voucher, so stay on the line and Dilly will look after you, all right? Great. Thanks, guys. Good on you, mate. Thanks, Hannah. Might have to make it a$10 one for that. I tell you what, she should work for Hallmark. That was just beautiful.

12:03The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki. The Big Show Swingers Club is back. And this time, it's going global. Yes, indeed. Very, very excited, fellas. That's coming up. Actually, Mogi was talking in the podcast outro that he's never seen me swim. So I'm looking forward to getting my smudgy bugglers on and pounding into the surf in front of Mogi. So what are you going to wear, man? Budgy smugglers. Not your smudgy bugglers? No, is that what I said? You're going to wear a tash wrap, man? Yeah, totally, Ben, totally. G'day, Ian, you mad bastard. How's life?

12:40Yeah, good, mate. Good. Good on you, mates. What's the plan tonight, Ian? Taking it easy or going hard? Just taking it easy, mate. Yeah, better one, man. Yeah, good on you, mate. What do you do for a crust, Ian? I'm a dairy farmer. Oh, bad, man. So you'd love a bit of Fiji action, wouldn't you, Ian?

13:00Jase:Oh, I'd love it. I'd love it. Have you got any smudgy bugglers you'll be wearing, man? Any what? Smudgy bugglers. That's what Jase calls his budgie smugglers. Oh, right. He's got a spare pair for you, man. Hey, Ian, do you like a bit of golf? Yeah, occasionally. Yeah, good on you, mate. Who would you take if you were lucky enough to win? I'd have to take my wife, I think. Yeah, I think so, mate. Good plan. What about one of the dogs? Nah, dog can stay at home. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Fair enough. Good on you, mate. Stay on the line and old Dilly will take care of you in the studio, B. G'day, Sam, you mad bastard.

13:42How's life? Good, mate. How are you? What are you, Jay? Yeah, good, thanks, mate. Where are you calling from, Sam? Taronga. Oh, yeah. That would have been bad, bro.

13:52Jase:Do you have next door to Keezy's mum and dad? Not far away. Yeah, yeah. And what do you do for a crust, Sam? I'm a project manager. Oh, backbone. Can we get a few of those on this show, can't we? Yeah, we do. Well, they've got plenty of time on their hands, the project managers. Jay's driving around in their utes doing jack shit.

14:13Well, that's what a good project manager does, eh, Sam? You go to a site, you go, you do this, you do that, you turn up then, and then I'm going to the beach and doing a bit of fishing.

14:24Jase:I got the vibe there that Sam is overhearing that. Spot on. All care, all care, no responsibility. Good on you, mate. Yeah, good on you, mate. Couldn't do it without you, man. Sam, what's your handicap? Trugging around about 17. Oh, that's pretty good. It's probably a bit good. Yeah, it's a bit good for us fellows. Mine's 27, so, you know, there you go. Who would you take with you, Sam? I'd have to be probably a scrap over to two mates of mine. Yeah, good on you, mate. Good on you, man. Stay on the line, Dilly. We'll look after you. You're in the drawer. Cheers, fellas. Thanks, mate. That's all thanks to Fiji Airways and the Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa.

15:02Fiji, where happiness comes naturally.

15:05Jase:You know what I'd do there, which might be cheating? Like, old Sam there saying he's got a couple of mates and they'd have to fight it out. I would just get the other mate to come. You pay for his flights and accommodation. You split it three ways. You see what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah, that's clear. Yeah, not bad. Not bad, I like it. And then you could all be in your shored borts. Pugs. What's up, man? Can I have a word, please? You're not allowed to give yourself the out like that, man. Oh, sorry.

15:36The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. Yes, indeed. A bit of Led Zeppelin for you. Friday afternoon. The time is 4.51. Let's talk some TV. What's on the telly with Mike Minogue?

15:55Hey. Yeah.

16:04Yeah. Yeah.

16:06Jase:Yeah.

16:11Jase:Did I watch anything of note? I'm still on my, I'm still just watching. Don't. If you say Seinfeld. The hour long finale. I'm still just watching Oasis stuff. I sort of go to put on a movie and I just can't be bothered. I think I've ruined my attention span. and I've got no interest in anything. It's like just people talking. I'm spending more and more time on YouTube, actually. So I watched a doco called Icons on Noel Gallagher, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and no one else will care. What did you watch? I think Keezy does YouTube stuff all the time. Three and a half buzzies, I'd give that. Right, okay.

Read the full transcript

16:45Okay, nice.

16:46Jase:That's great. Yeah, I watched a bit of YouTube last night too, actually. Bit of mukbang. Ah. What were they eating in the mukbang this time, Jase? It was like a massive kind of seafood ramen sort of casserole-y coagulated mess. Just how you like it. The Hang Sun family. Pardon? I think that's how you say it. I mean, I'm not fluent in Korean, so. Are you not? No, strangely enough. But what I did actually watch, and it's another little favourite of mine, very much in the vein of A Place in the Sun. Oh, yeah. And it's called Escape to the Country. Oh. And it's basically people in Europe who want to go and live in the countryside, whether it be in France or England, wherever it is.

17:33The good thing about it is the budgets are much bigger, Mogi, so you'd like this. So, you know, we're talking£800 ,000 kind of scenarios.

17:43Jase:I like those shows to be sort of aspirational in a world that I haven't seen before. I've been poor, which is why a place in the sun or whatever it's called doesn't appeal to me because it's like, yeah, I'm trying to get away from my poverty, not wallow in other people. Yeah, yeah. It's pretty good, actually, and you get to see some amazing places. The thing that shocks me, France particularly, seems to have a lot of abandoned old estates, et cetera. You know what I mean? And not castles per se, but really impressive properties that are out in the country somewhere. that have kind of been abandoned and they've got like eight rooms and two stables and 20 hectares of land and it's like$800 ,000.

18:30And it's like, my God, that'd be a bit of hoity, Jay. Yeah, man. The only thing that annoys me about this program is people rarely buy anything. Oh. So they get to see it. They see three or four houses and generally what they say is, well, you've certainly opened my eyes.

18:48Jase:Yeah, absolutely. Well, I'm fine with that. I don't care what they buy. If it was me, I'd prefer it was just a show where they just showed awesome houses. Yes. Cut out all the rubbish. I don't need to meet people. I don't need to know about their dreams. The story arcs. Just show me some awesome houses. I quite like the sort of facet, though, where people have all these demands and they don't get met and seeing that sort of play out. You know what I mean? And they're going, oh, okay. It could be, you know, 25 hectares and there's no pools, so. What would you rate that, Jase? Oh, look, I'd give it a solid 2.5 buzzies.

19:23Oh, I had a push, man. Okay, so bang on. You don't have to think about it. It's relatively entertaining, and I get to see real estate. And that turns me on, Pugs. So good, man. You want to know what I watched? Did you watch anything, man? I did. I've been watching a show called the... Now, you've got to hear me out for this one, all right?

19:42Jase:Well, we've got heaps of time, man. Yeah, let's just... Okay, cool. Well, I'll just power on through there. I'll also get F myself after this, too. So it's called The Summer I Turned Pretty, and it's on Prime. Now, it's based on a very famous novel series. It's a bit teeny bopper, but I was very surprised because it's the kind of thing that, well, in this scenario, your girlfriend recommends and then you get onto it and you give it a watch. I was surprisingly impressed by the casting and some of the acting performances in it. I would give it two and a half buzzies as well. Wow. Like, you're not going to be impressed by it.

20:13It's very cheesy, very teen rom-com. However, some of the acting, pretty good. Yeah. Surprisingly impressed. Nobody you'd know on it.

20:21Jase:So when you say your missus recommended it, you mean she put it on and you sat there and watched it and shut your trap? Bang on. The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.

20:40It's the Hauraki Big Show's Friday throbber. Yes, indeed. We picked the tunes and you choose the winner. The theme today, of course, Father's Day. It had to be, didn't it, Fielos? It definitely had to be. Fielos. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

20:56Jase:Yeah, it did. It did have to be. You know, it's very exciting, as always, doing the Shroba. This is where we each choose a song. You, the audience, get to call us up on 0800 Hauraki and vote. First of two wins. We are keeping track of who's won the most, of course, Jase, across the year. the loser has to do a nudie run down Queen Street. Well, that makes me just want to lose. Well, you can do it for free. Totally. Yeah, man, get it in you, I say. Who's going first today? Should we have a bit of yummy boys? Yeah, get it in you. Would you like me to go first? A bit of douche douche. 180 RPPM. Spot on, man.

21:36Jase:Yeah.

21:41Jase:Doesn't that feel good? To your father. Yeah. Like, in the sky. What? Praise be. That's not... To our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I didn't know you were so hard-caught, but it's nice to have your religion on your sleeve. That's not what it is. Pugs are. Own it. That's not what it is at all. Own it, Pugs. It's all good. It's not even close. Praise you, Fatboy Slim. We've come a long, long way together through the hard times and the good. But you've got to praise your father on Father's Day. You do, man. You know what I mean? You've got to do. It's all about sharing the love. I feel like it's a good vibe.

22:06Hoody JizzBot, what do you got, man? Yeah, Jase, man. I've got a bit of Pantera for you.

22:1425 years, it's called.

22:19What? Oh.

22:29Yeah. It's quite the juxtaposition. What's the relevance of 25 years?

22:32Jase:It's a song all about fatherhood. Is it? Yes. There you go. Okay. I've gone with Stonehenge World Pilot. This song, well, it's for my dad.

22:45Jase:It's called Dead and Bloated.

22:50Jase:Oh, God. Crank it up.

23:02Oh, yeah.

23:07That's sicko.

23:12Jase:Absolute all-timer of a song. I think it's the final track on the album Core. It might be the first track, actually. One or the other, but an absolute ripper of a tune. You know, here's to Father's Gone, Jase. Can I say that as well? All the ones that are dead and bloated. Cool. Give us a call on 0800HODAK. You be the judge. You decide the winner in New Zealand in the meantime. Here's a bit of Green Day for you. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.

23:45It's the Hauraki Big Show's Friday Throbber. Yes, indeed, and the theme this Friday was, of course, Father's Day this coming Sunday, and we're all fizzed up about that, aren't we, Fiel? Yeah, boy. Pugs, as usual, went for a bit of dush-dush. Dush-dush. This is Fat Boy Slam.

24:13Feels good, man.

24:19You know what I mean, Jase? Sure, man. You know what I'm saying, eh? Sure. Yeah. I went for a bit of Pantera.

24:29What a stank face. Yeah!

24:38Jase:Yeah. And I went for a Stone Temple Pilot's dinner bloated. He's got a five-minute intro, guys. Sorry. It's worth the wait, man. Yeah, man. I am smelling like a rose that somebody gave me because I'm dead and...

25:07All right, New Zealand, you decide. G'day, Dan, you mad bastard. How's life? Dan? Oh, yeah, pretty. Yeah. Yeah, good on you, mate. What are you running for there, Dan? Well, normally I'd be voting for Tony, but I've got to go for you, Jase. Oh, okay. You need a Father's Day present because your kids won't get you anything and you deserve it after that shitter of a Green Day song. Yeah, thanks. Good on you. Thanks, mate. It's lovely. G'day, Chris, you man. Barson, how's life? Yeah, good, mate. Good on you, mate. What are you running with, Chris? Oh, I hate to say it, but I think old Jase has it in there.

25:52Oh! Holy Jase.

25:55Jase:Okay. Well, there you go. Well, that's a turn up for the books. I'll tell you what, if you want to get a victory, you know, you play a song, Jason, the two drunkest men on the face of the earth will call up and vote for you. I'm surprised they knew how to push the buttons. I'll take it, fellas. Well done, Jason. However I can take it away, you go. Fire it off, me, pugs. The Hauraki Beat Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki. Well, a little taste of Pantera for you, fellas. Might have a little bit of breaking news there for you. Oh, boy, Jizz.

26:32Jase:This is Breaking News. Sadly, there was no lyric check done on that song, and it's one of the most foul-mouthed outbursts I think I've ever heard in my life. The amount of F-bombs, you know, an absolute disgrace, Jase, if I could put it to you that way, mate. You know, as we go to the scores... I've got the scores here. I've just updated them. Well, let me just say, look, Dilly's on one, Pugsone, you're on four, Keezy's on six with two asterisks, one for playing Freebird and the other one for bullying me, which is really unkind. Yeah, that was my start. I'm on nine, and Jase, you're on ten. You've got one asterisk for coercing the listener.

27:19Jase:Let me say you have now got two asterisks. Well, I think probably we should eliminate my victory. Oh, wow. I was prepared to say that as well. I'm like, no, Will, no, you won it. I did win it. I think that's an asterisk. That's totally fine. I'm happy with that. I'll write that in there. Yeah, and good on you for trying to sneak one past the senses there, Jase. Really, really appreciate that. But sadly, it was old Pugson on the buttons, and he doesn't like the swearing, man. Yeah, well, let me just say, Jase comes in after we hit the first F-bomb, and he walked in, and I was like, oh, there's a few F-bombs, and then he was like, should we check the lyrics?

27:56I looked at the refrain for Pantera 25 years, and the last maybe like minute and a half, it's an F-bomb in every single line.

28:05Jase:We can certainly see why fans of Pantera thought, yeah, I'd love to hear this one more. I can't believe they're going to play this on the radio. And the two fellas that voted for me were in that kind of frame of mind. Well, that's right. You know what I mean? You'd think the guys that voted for it were hammered. The guy that put it up to be selected in the first place is off his head. How many F-bombs got out there? Just one, I think We're not going to count them now, Jase Because that's evidence against you, brother Yeah, yeah Alright? No, fair enough Well, I blame Dilly Because, of course, normally you would go through the lyrics Wouldn't you, Pugso?

28:38I generally do Yeah, yeah, yeah

28:41Jase:So, Dilly Lesson learned, Dilly This is on you, man Just know, anything that goes wrong, it's going to be your fault It's on you, brother

28:52Back to normal there, boys Well done on the win, though, Jess Yeah, thanks, man It's garbage The Horaki Big Show With Jase, Mike and Kesey Tune in weekdays at 4 On Radio Horaki You got to know when to hold on Know when to hold on It's the Horaki Big Show, Big Ben There'll be time enough for counting when the dealing's done with the GAB. Yes, indeed. And if you want that, give us a call right now on 0800 Hodaki. That's a$100 bonus bet if your bet comes through. R18, bet responsibly. Dilly's just going to grab us a cooler and then he's our resident guy. So he'll come in and have a chitty chat about it.

29:35Yeah, give us the odds, eh? Yeah, Jase, a bit of feedback on your epic throbber Pantera 25 years. Oh, yeah. From a little bit earlier. Someone said, stitch up that one. My head is throbbing. And not in a good way, evidently. If you missed it, Jase picked 25 Years Pantera as the Father's Day-themed throbber song, and it had about 7 ,000 F-bombs on it.

29:58Jase:I was just looking for a hook, fellas. The main theme was Father's Day, but the theme coming through on the text was that that song was a shitter. What is this shit? Pugs all the way. Oh, Pugs all the way. Old Mogey is right. those dudes were more steamed than Kesey on a fridge. Sorry, Jase, but that was a shitter. What a shitter. Happy Father's Day. But, you know, look, that's the thing, man. If you don't ring up, you can't complain about it. Look, all I can say is I agree. Chase, man. I agree. It's a shocker. So, sorry, it's another asterisk? It was an asterisk, that's right. It is. It is. Now, we've got our TAB Big Bet contestant here, And our resident guy, Dilly.

30:42Welcome, Dilly. Hey, guys. Good to be here. Good to be the resident guy again, man. Who are we going with? We're going with Frog on 2, Jase. Oh, g'day, Froggy, man bastard. How's life? We're slaying it down here so I can't complain. Oh, yeah. Good on you, Froggy. What do you do for a cross, mate? Well, at the moment, I'm down the river with the old man who gets in some white paint. Oh, how good.

31:05Jase:How bloody good. That's a great little bit of Father's Day vibe there, brother. Good on you, Froggy. All right, Dilly, give Frog his choices here. All righty-o, Frog. First up, your first choice, Roger Tuivasashek being the first try scorer against the Sea Eagles tonight, which is paying$8.50. Or you can wait the following day, Artie Savia being the first try scorer for the All Blacks against South Africa, paying$15. I've got to go for Artie. Yeah. That's not bad. That's not bad, actually. Yeah, well, it's an absolute lottery there. You might as well go with the thing that's going to pay the most amount of money there, Frog Yeah Why not You've got to take a risk Hey Frog Can you chuck a few Of those bloody white bait In an envelope And flick them our way Man Oh well If you come down For a visit Nah nah nah Just freeze us a block Mate And send them up Alright Frog Yeah yeah yeah We'll do the best we can Good on you mate Good on you Frog Stay on the line And Dilly will sort you out In Studio B That's all thanks to The TAB RA team Bet responsibly They actually provide A range of safer betting tools To put you in control of your betting experience, and they're available via the Safer Betting section of the TAB website.

32:16Yeah, man. You know what I'm saying, man? Looking forward to that game of rugby this weekend, fellas. I've got to say.

32:22Jase:We'll be talking a bit more about that later in the show. Yeah, definitely, man. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. Yes, indeed. Blur there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. A bit of league action, of course. I believe the fellas are over in Manly, playing manly on their home turf. And what a special treat. Rugby league legend Charlie Gubb joining us for a second time in the week. G'day, Charlie. You're mad, Barson. How's life? Yeah, no, life's good, man. Friday afternoon. I'm at home now, relaxing. Cracked into my first Woodstock. Ready to go. Yeah, boy.

32:58Good stuff.

32:58Jase:Well, of course, you know, you've got a couple of kids out for a few years now, brother. You've got a brand new one. Talk me through your sleep patterns, big dog. No, I'm pretty good. but I normally put the middle child down first. Yeah. And then I just go off to my own room. I'm a bit of a film buff, so I normally just jump on RedTube and watch a few short films, right? You were saying off air just before we came on here that mostly you're making your missus sleep out on the couch because she keeps you awake feeding the baby all night. Yeah, it is tough, right? No, no, we're both pretty hands-on.

33:36Yeah, good idea. Glad to hear it, brother.

33:38Jase:So last night, the Warriors' dreams of a top-four place in a home semi were put to bed with Brisbane destroying the Melbourne Storm, who up until this point had come out of a loss with a record of 20-0. They'd never had back-to-back losses after a thrashing. So that's all over. I think the Warriors, in order to get in the top four, they'd need to win by about 110-0. Yeah, no, I don't think we'll be in the top four, but we've just got to put in a fair performance tonight because we're going to have a home qualifier. I guess you can't really call it a semi. We're going to have a home knockout qualifier.

34:16So I don't know who it looks like we're going to play. Maybe Penrith?

34:21Jase:Yeah, well, it's one of the two, isn't it? It could be looking at either Penrith. Oh, God, that's not good, is it? It could be looking at either Penrith or the Roosters, and I don't want either of those, really. I wouldn't mind playing maybe Titans again. It'd be good. Yeah, no, it would be good to beat versus the Titans, or maybe, yeah, Titans will be nice, actually. So hopefully there's a scenario that can happen. I think we can win at home. You know, there's going to be a big crowd there, and, you know, the Warriors fans are very pleased. Well, they are, and that's kind of what's weird about it, though, right, is there's a big crowd there every weekend.

34:54Jase:I saw the average numbers for the games at each home grand this year. We were third with 23-odd thousand, one of the smallest stadiums in the competition. So the home support's not the issue. Our guys are just garbage playing at home. We go great guns. I think we're six out of eight playing in New South Wales or seven out of eight. And at home, we're worse than, I think we've lost about 70%. So there's something happening there where it should be a cauldron, but the fact of the matter is we're easy to beat. Yeah, I don't know. Pressure? I don't know. We've always just been a little bit underwhelming at home, but we just need, you know, it's pretty late in the season now.

35:35We've got one more game. We've just got to bring it next week. You know, this week's kind of, I want us to win, but I just think Manly at home. Cherry Evans. Cherry Evans, they don't lose at home, you know, so they're the opposite to us. But I'm not expecting a win tonight. I'm just hoping for a good solid performance.

35:56Jase:No, that's right. Well, one thing that does kind of harder me is the opportunity to ruin somebody's big game. You know, I think he's 350-odd games he had a little while ago. He's a one-club player. It's his last game for the club as Daily Cherry Evans. He is an absolute legend. So the opportunity to go over there and destroy it for him, ruin it for him, ruin it for his home. And it's his last game ever for them. It's a huge game. And to ruin that memory for him would be, it would really warm my heart. If we could do the same thing to Daily Cherry Evans that we did to Jared Croker at the Raiders, I'd be a happy man.

36:33Yeah, definitely. Mogi, you get off on ruining people's day. I do, man. Well, he gets hard, Charlie. He gets hard. Yeah, he's like Bedrock, isn't he?

36:47Jase:Yeah, wow. Yeah, well, I guess we'll see how we go, mate. It'll be good to see the boys connect. I just want to, all you're looking for and hoping for, man, is a bit of improvement. and that's all I really want to see out of these guys. We're going to be in the finals regardless. If he could have offered that to me at the start of the year, I would have been happy. I'm picking the Warriors 13 +, Charlie. Yeah, no, you've been on this whole year, Hoity, so I'm going to have to follow you a real rugby league nut. How much money are you putting on it there, Jase? Oh, a couple of hundy. Yeah. Good stuff.

37:20Hey, thanks, Charlie. We'll speak on Monday. Yeah, we will. What have you got, boys, got done for the weekend?

37:26Jase:Oh, a bit of Father's Day stuff, man. Of course, I'll be recovering from a two-day hangover. That'll start tonight. The missus has got a bit of work to do around the backyard. She's got the lawns and that. I've got her putting in a retaining wall and that. So she's got a big weekend ahead of her, man. I have my feet up, of course, man. A couple of darts, a few Cody's, and yeah. Yeah, just another day at the Coalface Roll Mogey, man. Yeah, and what about you, Hoytie? You're not getting out of the scot-free. Nah, mate, I'll just be chilling, a couple of Cody's. Listening to this song. 40 packs of Ciggies, you know.

38:02See you, mate. Good on you, Charlie. See you, mate. See you Monday. See you Monday, brother. Let's go. The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki. Fleetwood Mac there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. The time is 5.47. I tell you what, fellas, jeez, we're giving away a lot of prizes today. We've got another one to give away. Crank the hog. Crank it. $4 ,000 worth of stuff done on your car. Man. Or your motorbike. Whatever your hog is, Jase. We've been asking for your hog picks for the last couple of weeks. It's all in celebration of the new Panhead Roadhog NZ IPA.

38:39Just like its namesake, it's an old school IPA built with new school hops, Jase. Yeah, man. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, totally. You going to have a few of those this weekend, Pugsun? You bloody bet. Responsibly, of course.

38:50Jase:Tell you what, there's been some pretty amazing entries here. We've got absolutely all sorts from, well, look, some of these are, there's some shockers. There's a Ford Laser, an absolutely bloody beautiful Holden Kingswood Ute, and then some other Utes of varying degrees and stages, and really a lot of them should be probably taken to the wreckers. Yeah, sure. But keep those entries coming in, because we're going to be giving them away for the rest of the year. Wait, what? We're going to be giving away your vehicles. No, but what we are going to do is call our winner right now. Yeah, boy. Yeah, man.

39:25Exciting stuff. Oh, no.

39:33Hi, Thomas speaking. Yeah, g'day, Thomas. It's Woody J. Mogey and old Pugson from the big show. How are you going, you mad bastard? Oh, bloody good. What are your backbones on? Oh, you know, we're just doing the show.

39:46Jase:Just a bit of downtime. The songs are playing on the radio, man, and we just thought we'd reach out for a yarn. Yeah, just see how you're going and all that. That sounds bloody good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tell me, Thomas, what do you do for a crust, mate? I'm a web developer. Oh, what a backbone. Okay. Good stuff, man. Yeah, nice. What about you guys? Top radio DJ, world-famous actor, all that to the jazz. Top quality voice artist. Listen, Thomas, what kind of vehicle are you running at the moment? I've got a 1996 Holden Rodeo. Oh, I love that. It's really beautiful. You see, this is where we need Keezy, because I really fall down on the old calf.

40:28I wouldn't have a clue what that is. Oh, I kind of do, actually. What do you want to do to it, Thomas? Well, the paint's a bit rooted on it. I was thinking you guys could all come down and have a go at it with a spray can, maybe paint Jason Hoyt's face on the bottom. Yeah, now we're doing it. Yeah, yeah. Nice. Is it a twin cab, man?

40:48Jase:Oh, it is a twin cab. Yeah. Right. Yeah, fuck yeah. Yeah. Good on you, mate. Well, you're no worse than Jase's shrober, mate. Don't sweat it. Well, I've got a photo here in front of me of it, and I know what you mean, man. It's when the old, it's like the D-Lamb comes off the paint and she starts peeling, eh? It's like you've been out in the sun too long, your mummy hasn't put any lotion on you, and you're peeling like a bastard. 100 % it flies off as I'm driving down the road it's a hell of a look but she's a sick looking truck it's beautiful, you hear it coming too they've done a bit of work on it from the look so those tyres don't look like their factory the wheels don't look like their factory so yeah you'd have a bit of fun in that man so what are you looking for us to do to it exactly outside of paint Jase's massive honker on the bonnet what else could we do we could do one of those cool light bars Oh, yes.

41:43What about a six sound? Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Okay. I'm liking this. Well, the great news, Thomas, is you've got 4K to do that, mate. You beaut. Thank you very much. How good. Isn't that a classic case of you've got to be in to win? You'd be lucky if the Utes were 4K. Oh,

42:09good on you, mate. Well, you enjoy that 4K. And we're looking forward to seeing the picks once you've done it all up. I hate you, fellas. Good on you, Thomas.

42:19Jase:You've got your story for the pub already, man. Get down there. Stay on the line at Old Dilly. We'll sort you out in Studio B. That's all thanks to Panhead's new home. Couldn't have gone to a bigger back plane. How good is that going? So good.

42:37Let's finish up the album with a bit of Queens of the Stone Age, fellas. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. You're welcome back, you mad bastards. Hope your Friday's going off and you're having an old party at your house or wherever you may be. You're listening to The Big Show, brought to you by Reburger. Seven good times and good food. Dine in or take away Reburger today. Oh. Oh, my gosh. There it is. There it is. I'm surprised it took us long, to be honest with you.

43:06Jase:The end of the phrase, listen to your viewers. Yeah.

43:12Have you ever heard the phrase Rookie mistakes? Oh Yeah No I haven't heard that before What's that one about? It's about when a young fella Gets his big shot on Studio A With a massive dome

43:26Jase:And he's wearing his smudgy bugglers And his short borts

43:34So good James Fellas are telling you what Now listen No, we've got a lot coming up this hour. We're going to try and get a hold of Keezy, see where he's at. Have a bit of sports chat as well. What do you say, fellas? Loving it. Yeah, it could be king. We've got another winner to give away too. Trade tested. You got it. $2 ,500 worth of stuff for your backyard. How good. The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki. Yes, indeed. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday evening. Let's talk some sport. Oh, we don't have that sting anymore.

44:07It's disappeared, fellas. You remember all that sting drama from earlier in the week? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because of the old producer, et cetera, et cetera. Someone's having a tutu with our board there. But anyway, what do we want to start with, fellas? Let's go with a bit of All Blacks here already, Jay. Yeah, look, I am absolutely pumped for this game. The rugby championship, every team won one, lost one. So it's great that we're all on an even playing field, playing the world champion South Africans, who were surprised by the Australians, looked a little vulnerable, I'll be honest. But we're also coming off the back of a terrible loss against Argentina, and we've got some real problems at halfback, fellas.

44:45People falling all over the place.

44:46Jase:Well, there's been a lot of injuries, hasn't there? Hoity J, and it's a critical position. Had a lot of bloody bad luck. I think we're down to our fourth string. Yes, we are. So that is not great, but it puts a lot of pressure on it. It's the old foe, Jase. I enjoy a bit of old faux action in the spring box. I think it's going to be an absolute rip. It's one of the few times that I'm disappointed I'm not going to be at the game. Yes. I never go to AB's games. I don't know why that is. I don't. But this would be an absolute doozy. And, you know, both teams hurting a bit, so I can't pick this one.

45:23All I will say is this, that we lost our last game. We're at Eden Park. I favour the All Blacks slightly.

45:31Jase:Oh, yeah, I think for that reason. Slightly. Now, there's absolutely nothing in how they've been playing to suggest that they're going to play well. Correct. But when you look at the individuals on the park, they're an amazing team. They're just not – for whatever reason, it's not coming together. But if they click, you are going to see a completely different team. And that's – yeah, they're a great team. It's just yet to be seen. Yeah. The Women's Rugby World Cup as well, going great guns, fellas. Yeah, that's right. That's coming up. Surprisingly, I've seen that they've played, what I'm seeing is that they've played a couple of times and that Ireland have beat New Zealand twice and we've won once.

46:10Jase:I don't know if that's at World Cups or what, but that's what it's shown on the Women's World Cup website. So the kick-off time, 1.45am on Monday morning. You'd have to assume that the Black Ferns will go in as favourites. They've had victories already in the Cup so far. They beat Japan last week and in the opening game, I believe they played, it may have been Spain, and absolutely dominated them, both with pretty similar results. Look, I'll be honest with you, there's not much I get up for at 1.45 in the morning. But what I do watch is as soon as I get up in the morning, she's ready to go. Yes.

46:49Jase:Okay. Likewise. And it's going to get bloody good come the – but that last World Cup that was in New Zealand was brilliant. Absolutely unbelievable. Yes. And every game over there is sold out, so it'll be a bloody rip. Get involved in it if you can. What do you reckon there, Pugson man? You got some chat about the All Whites, brother? I haven't got any chat about them, but they are playing tonight against the Socceroos at GIO Stadium in Canberra. Where do you think we're – sorry, where are they playing and when, mate? I just want you to get that out. Yeah, Jase, do you want to answer Mogi just there?

47:15Sorry, I blanked out. Oh, okay. They're playing in Canberra for the Soccer Ashes Trophy tonight. That's at 9.45pm. How good. What do you think we're strongest, man? Yeah, Jase, can you answer Mogi, please? I think in the striking department. Yeah.

47:31The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki. Pluto there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday evening. Now, listen, the good bastards at Trade Tested have gone on board with the fellas on the big show. Trade Tested, what do they do? They do sort of outsource outdoor furniture, that kind of thing. Barbie kind of action, fellas. Everything for your backyard, Jase. They've got you sorted. And they've been giving you the chance to, I guess, realise your backyard dreams, fellas, with$2 ,500 worth of products up for grabs with us by entering ahoraki.co.nz.

48:08Holy heck. And we're doing that every Friday this month, I believe. We've got our first winner. Shall we give him a call? Yeah. Yeah, good stuff. Exciting. I wonder what he got. I've got the list here, man. Hello? Yeah, g'day. Is that James, is it? Sure is, mate. G'day, James. It's old hoody Jay Mogey and Pugsan from The Big Show. How are you going, you mad bastard? Yeah, pretty good, mate. Pretty good. Yourself? Yeah, very good. It's a Friday, James. It's a Friday, mate. Oh, no, how good, eh? Yeah, good. Hey, now, listen, I believe you got involved in our trade-tested competition. I sure did.

48:48Now, James, do you remember any of the stuff that you sort of listed in there as your sort of dream for your backyard, mate? Oh, mate, the zip line, that one there, mate, had to happen. The kids are pretty excited. Oh, look at the zip line.

48:59Jase:How good. Is that off the roof? It could be, mate, if you're game, yeah. What else are you running with there, James? What did we get? We got their picnic table. Oh, yeah, I see. A dog bed. Yeah, yeah. Flagpole in there, mate. You have a bit of nation's pride coming out of you. That's great. Oh, that's it, mate. That's it. Got it at the flagpole. He's got a smokeless fire pit as well, Moogies. A smokeless fire pit? I know you're a fan of those in your conversation pits and stuff. How good. Well, mate. The great news for you, James. That's all yours, mate. Oh, man, I'm stoked. This is excellent.

49:33Excellent, fellas. No worries. It'll make you Friday afternoon for sure. Oh, sure does, sure does.

49:38Jase:If we can jack it up, we'll get Keezy's old man to come round and install it all for you, man. Oh, there you go, mate. Well, I'm a builder, so I think I'll be all right. Put your feet up, man. Backbone. Yeah, you just relax, James. Get someone else to do it. Hey, will you enjoy that, my friend? Thanks for entering the competition. Well done. Awesome. Thanks, guys. No worries, mate. We'll chuck you on hold, put you through to old Dilly there. Now, that's all thanks to Trade Tester. You can make your deck great with our mates at Trade Tester. Check out more at tradetester.co.nz. And as you say, Jase, that's happening every Friday this month.

50:07Yeah, man, how good, man. How good. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. She-hard there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday night. You got any gigs coming up, Pugs-un, with the Yummy Boys? That's so weird that you would bring that up. Yeah, because I just feel like it's been a while since you've done one. That's right. So if you didn't know, Dilly and I are in a DJ duo called the Yummy Boys. We do it for fun, usually with Hauraki or ACC events as well. And there happens to be one tomorrow. There's a yard party at 599 New North Yard at Morningside there. It's by the same guys that brought you Norma, Norma Taps, which is where we've done some stuff before.

50:48And it starts at 3. Dilly and I are going to be on 5 to 7 just as a little sort of background. Come of a beer. We'll have some vibes going. Should be chill. And then I think plans after are going to have some real doozy Yummy Boys turns after that. And, of course, as always, you'll be giving out the Connies. Hey, now, listen. Connies scramble. So, Old Keezy's on a two-day bender down south somewhere. A fantastic stag. He's even got a stag bag for the occasion. So, we thought we'd give him a bit of a call. Yeah, it's a good idea.

51:17Jase:And I think the trick is, and what we should probably do, is we should just surprise him with a call. Because Old Keezy, generally, he's not going to want to answer the phone to the likes of us. Yeah. So, we thought we'd surprise him with one. So, Pugsano, I reckon if you do the honours, man, Give him a little bell there. Yeah. And it will be an unrecognisable number, Jase, because we're calling from the studio. Yeah, yeah, so he won't know. And he always has to know what's going on, does old Keezy, so he won't be able to resist. He'll have to answer the bloody phone. He has no idea we're calling either, does he?

51:46Jase:No. Yeah, let's try it now. Okay. Tom Gonsh. Hello? G'day, Keezy. How are you going, mate? It's old hoity Jay and Moogie and Pugsan. Oh, g'day, fellas. It's really good to hear from you, man. Like, if there's one thing, like, shut up. All right, shut up. I'm talking to the fellas. If there's one thing I want when I've got a day off, it's to chat to my workmates. Just letting you know, we've been at three pubs, and we're now heading to our accommodation. And it turns out I got it wrong. There isn't 10 beds for 20 dudes. There's actually 15 beds for 20 dudes. So only a few of us, and I'll be one of them, will have to find a bed partner for the night.

52:32You were saying that actually you've ended up with two partners, weirdly enough, in your bed, Keezy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was like, well, look, if people don't want to share, I'm happy to have two dudes in my bed.

52:48Jase:Yeah, man. Well, because people get scared when they're sleeping away from home, eh? Yeah, well, exactly. And the last thing I want is for these boys to be scared. Now, Keezy, you've been to three pubs so far. So take us through what you've been drinking so far and what the activity has been for the stag, because a lot of stag dudes, they'll get the guy naked, he has to wear a dress or all that sort of stuff. What exactly is going on with the stag and how many drinks have you had? Right, okay, well, obviously, Mogi, I'll just interrupt you there. Obviously, you're 100 % responsible from start to finish.

53:22So the stag has been, he works for, let's just say, one of New Zealand's milk conglomerates. Oh, backbone! Backbone. Yeah, backbone, re-burger voucher, all that. My wife, all that bullshit.

53:38He's dressed as a milkman, and he had to hitchhike his way to Methven, which is where we are now. We've been to four different pubs, and obviously 100 % responsible, but I don't want to put a number on the amount of drinks we've had because obviously we're on the radio and stuff, but it'd be about 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13. And what time was the first one? The first one was at 11am. The first one was at 11am.

54:05Jase:Yeah, that's the way to do it, brother. That's the way to do it. Now, can you hand the phone over to the guy closest to you? Okay, yeah, I'm going to hand the phone over to the guy closest to me. His name's Nate. Here we go. Yeah, g'day, Nate. It's Hoity J and the fellas from the big show. How are you going, you mad bastard? We are top notch. And it's surprising Keezy still has his clothes on, to be honest. On a scale of 1 to 10, first of all, Nate, just let us know how many people, how many fellas have you got on the stag there with you? We've got 20 of New Zealand's finest here on the stag. And you know what?

54:36They're all representing their areas across the country really well. Yeah. Keezy, you know, he's keeping up. He's keeping up. Well, good on you, Nate. You take care of each other down there, you fellas. Look after him for us. Yeah, make sure he gets back on Monday, all right? Oh, of course. Yeah, he will make the fight. Yeah. Go on, you're nice. All right, mate.

54:58Jase:Thanks, mate. There he is. Holy hecka. That was out the gate. The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.

55:17I'll tell you what. Another week done and dusted, fellas. It's just flown by. It's flying by, man. I'll tell you what, this show's flown by. Yeah. I feel like I blink my eyes and then boom, she's all over.

55:27Jase:That might be the fastest one of all time. It may be. It may very well be. Big weekend for you, Mo. Are you going to behave yourself partially? Yeah, I won't be getting up to much. I've got some work to do with old punk sons coming over to my joint tomorrow. Just a bit of stuff around the house. Just a few things around the house, man. Can I just ask you, did he say, could you come around to my house? I've got a bit of work for you to do. Yes, that's exactly how he works. Yeah, that's how I put it. And he said there's some filming involved as well. Yeah, there's going to be some video, and you're going to need to get some lights.

55:57Jase:Yeah. Okay. See, have a go. It's going to be your go. Let me put it to you that way. Hold your ground, Pugs-On. Hold your ground. Now, listen, in the podcast outro today, we talked about all sorts of stuff. All sorts of stuff. What's the clip today, Pugs-On? What's it called? Dilly's titled this one, Fainting. I've known, actually, a couple of people that would do that with the old injections. To do that. My sister. They would literally faint and just go, It's amazing. It's an amazing power of the mind. And you can imagine when that's happening at an all-boys boarding school when you're all lined up to get shocked or whatever and someone faints.

56:36Jase:Everybody's really supportive of it. Yeah, exactly. They're just punching you in the arse. Massively supportive and just goes, Oh, yeah, good on you, Hoity J. Yeah, great stuff. They say, good on you, Hoity J. Was that guy in that story you were talking about, that was actually you? Yeah, man. Don't like injections, Moogie. Yeah, I know how it goes, man. Unless it's the old H.

57:00Railroad Hoyt, they call him. That's how I got over it, you know what I mean? Hey, now listen, you know, go and check out the Instagram, go and check out the podcast because there's lots going on. In the meantime, though, have a great Friday night. Have a great weekend. Nice work by you today, Pugs. Appreciate it, mate. Yeah, mate. And until Monday, we'll see you later. you
