In short

The Hauraki Big Show discusses rising petrol prices across New Zealand (including big regional differences), plus TV/streaming recommendations, the “Friday Throbber” music vote, naming a new radio mascot, and advice-seeking (including moving from Auckland to the regions). They also promote Trade Tested giveaways and “Come Dine With Me” rules for an upcoming final dinner party.

Guests (on-air)

No external guests appear in the transcript. The hosts are Jason Hoyte (“Jase”), Mike Minogue (“Mike”), and Keyzie (“Keezy”); “Mogi” and “Pugs” are recurring host nicknames/roles.

Key claims

Petrol can exceed $5/L in some places; prices can differ by about $3 between stations only ~100m apart; delivery costs help explain higher rural prices. The show says the new mascot is a cricket bat with two balls and needs a name. They warn social media notifications can “trap” you into checking old comments.

Notable examples

Petrol texts include $3.48 for 91 in Christchurch, $2.90 diesel in Christchurch, $3.03 diesel in Featherston, and $5.11/L on Great Barrier Island. TV picks: “A Toxic Love Story” (3/5 buzzies) and “Widow’s Bay” (4/5). Mascot name winner: “Hazy and Pale Yellow Weez” (Elliot Ness). Trade Tested winner: Liam (paddleboard, barbecue, chest freezer, trolley).

0:00Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show. Thanks to crave-worthy street food. Freshly made with Reburger. Don't fight it. It's time to go up a size. This is the biggest, the biggest, the biggest, this is the biggest, our biggest show. The Hauraki Big Show. With Jason Hoyte, Mike Minogue and Keyzie.

0:20Keyzie:Oh, g'day, you mad bass. It's great to have your company this Friday afternoon. It is the 25th of September, 2026, and you, my friends, as always, listening to The Big Show, brought to you by Rebergear.

0:32Jason Hoyte:Craveworthy street food freshly made with Rebergear. Craveworthy.

0:38Keyzie:You great stuff. Mogi, you stallion. You stud, you Greek god. How's life? Going pretty grassy, you mad dog. You sick son of a bitch.

0:50Jason Hoyte:Oh. I've been waiting for that. Oh. For the full read. Have I never done that before? No, I think you have. About two years or at least a year. Yeah. There you go for all you train spotters out there, eh? Eh? What? Jeez. Pretty grouse, man. Another beautiful day in the city of Salers, if you like the freezing cold. Yeah, she's nippy. She's a little bit nipply out there, but fortunately that means old Pugsans on high alert. Yeah. How you going, brother? No kies here today. Hey, you're over the moon, hey? Whenever Keezy's not here, I'll fuck that.

1:20Keyzie:He is a completely different human being. His mood goes through the clouds. Unbelievable. Through it into the clouds. Guys, guys, come on.

1:27Jason Hoyte:I'm always professional, but let's just say I can finally be myself. Yeah, exactly. And that feels right. You two are constantly going at each other. 100%. I don't know what it is, but for some reason, Keezy feels the need to tell you how to do your job, and that must get so tiring for you, bro. Oh, sometimes it helps because I forget, you know? Yeah. Yeah. How are you, Jase, man? Yeah, good, thank you.

1:50Keyzie:I'll be honest with you. I was all over the place this morning. I just couldn't get my brain functioning. Would you say sixes and sevens? Yeah, not even. My brain just wasn't working. And I was sitting on the couch and I thought, come on then, young fella. Get your ass up and go for a vigorous walk around the city, which I then did. Beautiful morning. Went down to the wharf there. Walked back, got myself a peanut butter milkshake. Sat in the square for 20 minutes in the sun. What? Jesus. It's a sad life, isn't it? Sat there sucking on my peanut butter milkshake, got home and wanted to have a nana nap.

2:26Keyzie:It didn't change at all. My brain still wasn't working. Did you have a nap? No, I didn't. I won't tell you what I did. Feels. Okay, please don't. I tell you what. Yeah. Massive show ahead, though. Massive.

2:44Jason Hoyte:What's happening on The Big Show? with Old Mogi. Great news, fellas. The Warriors are out of the NRL. They're not in the run for the grand final. So while there's a couple of semis on this weekend, the Warriors aren't involved in it. So we won't be talking about it. Just wanted to flag that. Okay? Just flagging that. Pugson's got his come dine with me coming up. I think not for quite a few weeks yet. But he's got a few questions, obviously. So he's trying to get the inside track. Yes. So we'll find out what that's all about. And also, fellas, petrol. The price of petrol has gone up in some places to over$5, if you can believe that.

3:24So we want to do a price check around the country. Text us 3483. What's your name? Where are you from? And how much does petrol cost where you are? We'll go cheapest and most expensive. I'm interested to know how low it can go. It's weird, isn't it? You can be 100 metres away between petrol stations and the price can be as different as$3. Yes. I've seen that.

3:42Keyzie:It's outrageous. It's outrageous. It's an absolute disgrace what's going on at the moment. But hey, don't get down about it, New Zealand. Just sit back, relax, listen to some tunes in the fells. And we'll start that off with a bit of Lincoln Park.

3:57Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.

4:01Keyzie:Yes, indeed, Radiohead there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. The time is 4.14. Just a reminder, too, we're going to be giving away one of our prizes for Trade Tested. We are.

4:13Jason Hoyte:So have your phones on, you mad bastards. That's right. You could win yourself$2 ,500 worth of Trade Tested products, but it's not the last time we're going to do it. I think we've got two more winners, fellas, but keep your phone on. Yeah, good on you, man. Hey, petrol prices, fellas. They're doing the rounds again in the news, and I'm not surprised. Yeah. This might be the most expensive, I think, that I've ever seen them. Yes, I think so. Great Barrier Island, the Barrier Times over there. They've got a pamphlet that they handwritten. They call it a newspaper, but it's literally a pamphlet.

4:42Yes, right. Literally. Well, there's not a lot going on over there. There's very little going on, and especially when everyone has to stay home because petrol prices have hit$5.11 per litre.

4:54Jason Hoyte:It's outrageous. That's big bucks. Over on Waiheke Island, my former stomping ground, your unletter 91 was sitting at around$4.04. So we wanted to know on 3483, how much are you backbones out there paying for a litre, and where are you and what's your name. We've had a few texts come through here. G'day, your backbones. $3.48 for 91 here in Christchurch. Right, okay, yes. $2.90 for diesel. Okay. $2.90 for diesel. Now, I don't know what your earliest memory is, Jase, but when I was a kid, it was 87 cents for a litre of petrol, and I think your diesels were in about 45 or 44. Yeah, it was always cheaper, isn't it?

5:36Something like that because it's a filthy bastard, the old diesel.

5:39Jason Hoyte:Inflation had probably gone up by the time that you sort of remember, though, because you're 10 years younger than Moe. Yeah, yeah, maybe. So maybe like a couple of bucks or something? Yeah. Yeah. But, I mean, it's an outrage. It's a fair amount of money, Jase. Can I say that to you? Yes, it is. It's a fair chunk out of a man's pay pack and woman's when she's paying five bucks a litre. Or$3.50. Or$3.70.

6:06Keyzie:I remember the times back in the day when I was on the bones of my ass. You know, it is a really serious issue for people because, you know, I'd be like, oh, 12 bucks, how much? You know what I mean? And even times where it was like, I don't think I can actually afford to go there because I've got no petrol and I can't afford to buy petrol. This is a bloody disgrace. It's an abject disgrace. I completely agree with you. And Bog, oh, Bog, you remember Bog. Yeah, Bog. Mad bastard. he's just sputtered over the rim of tuckers on his way to master and can confirm that diesel is$3.03 in Featherston.

6:44Outrageous.

6:44Jason Hoyte:What confuses me is that I live, so I live in Mount Eden most of the time. Oh, la-dee-da. Okay, well, he was just talking about Waiheke, so I don't know what you're on. Oh, okay, but defensive much? And then I'll go out west or like in the middle of nowhere out west, like on the huts. The WAPS. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And it will be sometimes more expensive further out in the WAPS. Yeah. then the central, I don't know, I thought central would be more expensive. It's because they've got to get it out further.

7:11Keyzie:Yeah, it costs them the petrol to get it out to the woks. That's the problem, is they're spending all this money on petrol to deliver the petrol. Yeah. And that costs a bomb. Yes. Now, that's obviously why it costs so much to get it over to your places like your Great Barrier, Jase. Yeah, I don't know why they bother with the Great Barrier. You know, over there, if I was on Great Barrier, I'd be horse and carton. Yes, so would I. You know, it's an interesting joint out there. You know, I've been over there many, many, many times. And, you know, you'll be down at the local pub there and rammed to the gills.

7:45Yes. And every one of the individuals there is also rammed to the gills. Yes. And yet somehow at the end of the night the car park is empty. Yeah, yeah. They must have one of those dollar driver services over there. Yeah, surely.

7:56Keyzie:You know my interesting fact about the Great Barrier Island. Go on. It has the highest rate per capita of convicted murderers. How good's that? How good's that? Obviously people have gone, you know, I'm just going to go and live my life out on the barrier there. Well, better be careful because these petrol prices might be driving those bastards to act again.

8:25Jason Hoyte:What do you reckon, pugs? Keep the prices coming on 3483. $50 rebug of vouchers. The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.

8:41Keyzie:Rage against the machine there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. The time is 4.26, and we're talking about the outrageous price of petrol at the moment. It's going through the roof, and I'm sad to say, fellas, even with the prices that we're talking about right now, it's going to get worse. I just want you to know, Pugs, it's going to get worse. It's going to get so much worse. So whatever you're thinking. I don't want to press anyone. But it's going to get worse.

9:07Jason Hoyte:I'm sweet as. My car's been in the shop for six months. That's right. Well, I think your mechanic, and we should probably talk about that at some stage, but your mechanic has absolutely done you. Yeah, totally. He has done you, and he continues to do you, and you just love it. I just lay there, and I take it. $3.45 for$95 here in Southbridge, which is about 45 minutes south of Christchurch. Right, okay. $3.06 for diesel in Pukekohe. Man Trump's a dick, isn't he? I don't see how the two are related. Yeah, not at all. Hastings Caltex. Diesel is at$3.17. Where was that? That's the highest one yet.

9:44That's at Hastings Caltex on Amahu Road. $3.42 for 91 here in New Brighton Christchurch. It's outrageous. Yes. This texter says less eating and drinking money, and that's 100%, isn't it? You've got to drive further to get paid less by your boss. It's good stuff. This text here, on the petrol prices, I had a shocker the other day. I went to the snow on my way back home. I was looking for a mobile because I've got a smiles card. People love their discounts, Chase. You know when the prices are going through the roof. I went to go to the mobile in Taumura Nui. Unfortunately, Google Maps took me to mobile in Taihape.

10:24My internal GPS around that area isn't great, so I didn't realise I was going the wrong way until I was 40 minutes the wrong direction, and I was not happy at all. Not only was I 40 minutes in the wrong direction, I got there and realised that the gas was more expensive than it was in Awakuni. I was effing and jeffing and then got stuck in a snowstorm and had to sleep in my car. Can I please have a Reburger voucher? Yes, you bloody well absolutely can.

10:53Keyzie:Just on the petrol station, I've got a funny story about that. Jeez, it's funny. But it's not –

11:00Jason Hoyte:I bet it is now that you've said that.

11:02Keyzie:It's not petrol related, but it's to do with a petrol station. Sure. And it was in Christchurch, funnily enough. And I woke up in Christchurch about five in the morning, and I was like, God, I'd run out of durries. And I was like, I need a durry. I need a durry. I need – So I looked at my phone and, you know, on the map, upstairs and said, where's the nearest petrol station? Because I was going to walk the bastard. And I found it, and it was about, you know, one and a half K away, and I went, sweet, I'm going to do it. So I got my clothes on, walked in Christchurch, it's freezing cold, you know, it was early hours of the morning.

11:39Keyzie:Finally found the place after much effing and jeffing, and it was like a little truck stop, and it wasn't even open. How much was a diesel? It was about$2.50 at that point, I think.

11:51Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.

11:56Keyzie:Blur there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show. This Friday afternoon, the time is 4.36 now. We asked Pugs to go and find some snacks for us, didn't we, Mogi? Will he do? He came back with two dry old cheese scones. To rub salt further into the wound... Where are they? They're out in the kitchen bench. They're out in the kitchen bench. You're welcome. To rub salt further into the wound, there's no butter. So they're just dry old, crusty cheese scones.

12:27Jason Hoyte:You're a shocking bastard, Pug. Sorry, so not only do you have an issue with the fact that I got you scones without butter, you have a problem with scones in the first place? Well, I'm not a big fan of a cheese scone to start off with, but needs must.

12:39Keyzie:Anyway, now listen. In better news. This is good stuff. We've released a mascot. people have been crying out Jason you would have been running into this as well been here for now five and a half years day in day out whether it's a supermarket whether I'm getting the rejo renewed on my car whether I'm buying a new pair of slacks people come up to me and they say hey Radio Hodaki is great but where's your mascot yeah and so we've been lobbying for this in the background for years and years and years now and finally finally it's happened however our mascot doesn't have a name

13:18Jason Hoyte:That's right. If you haven't seen it, go to any of the Hauraki socials. It's right there. Essentially, it's a cricket bat with two cricket balls bulging at the bottom there. Jase, how do you feel about it as an ex-mascot? Oh, look.

13:31Keyzie:Because you've spent years being a mascot, haven't you? If anyone knows they're mascots, it's old Hoity J. And this one is an absolute doozy. Because you see it, don't you? Yeah, you do. You do see it. You look at it and you see it. Yes. And you think cricket bat, couple of balls, Radio Horeki. Yeah, yeah. It's great stuff. So what we're needing is a name. Have you got anything that leaps to mind? Well. Can I tell you what, Jase? This might help because I've got something here. Now, this was left on my desk. Admittedly, it's to Jerry and Mania, but I'm going to read it out anyway. Hi, Jerry and Mania.

Read the full transcript

14:11I'm your new mascot. I have no name. I also don't speak. A few facts about me. I'm single. My pronouns are bat balls. I had a big night last night, so I'm slightly dusty. Please don't ask me to do anything too rigorous.

14:27Jason Hoyte:That was from Jerry and Minaya on the Haruki Breakfast. That was for Jerry and Minaya. Yeah, right. Yeah.

14:33Keyzie:Well, of course, I used to be a mascot. His name was Wally the Wombat. Oh, there you go. What about Wally the Wombat? Yeah, but it's not a wombat. Wally the Wombat. Yeah. Oh, well, yes, I see what you're saying there. That could work. That could work.

14:48Jason Hoyte:I'm sure you can do better. Chuck your suggestion in at horaki.co.nz or text mascot to 3483. Then we'll send you back a link and you can chuck your suggestion in. All of them are in the drawer for a double pass to the ACC Export Ultra Party Zone at the Hot Spring Tui. Oh, God. Take a note now. We're not taking notes. We're already up to four here, mate. The Tweet Tinti Black Clash.

15:16Keyzie:Yeah, good stuff, mate. There's She-Hart. Oh, yeah.

15:20Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kesey. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.

15:26Keyzie:Led Zeppelin there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. The time is 4.40. Well, wait, 4.48. Let's talk TV. What's on the telly with Mike Minogue?

15:44Keyzie:Woo! Yes. Fellas, I watched something last night, but I can't talk about it. Oh. Because I don't want to be negative about it. But isn't that the point? I know how hard people work. And so sometimes it's just best to shut up. Keep your mouth shut. You do more harm than good. Can I say that? You can say that. Yeah, sure, man. So that's all I'm going to say about it. I'll just leave it there. I did watch something, but I can't. I can't talk about it. You can't do it. Can you say what you disliked without saying what it is? The illogical decisions that the characters made. Ah. You know when you're watching something and it's sort of based in reality?

16:26Yes. It's based in reality. But the people in it are acting in a way that no human being on Earth would act. And everybody's acting in a way that nobody would act. Yeah. But the trouble is it's based in reality. So because you're basing it in reality and then the behaviour is unrealistic, It just instantly, you're just like, I am so far from being in on any of this. I hate you all. Yeah. And I'm pushing stop. So that's what happened to me.

16:52Keyzie:Fellas, I had a very lazy night last night. Don't look at me like that, pugs. On the TV. So when my wife and I are in a lazy mood, we go sort of horrendous doco. So we watched one last night called A Toxic Love Story. I saw that one sitting there. Netflix. Netflix. I bet they're the home of shitbox murder. Yeah, they are. And to be honest, you can get all of them on the Samsung Crime Channel, to be fair. Oh, sweet. You know what I mean? This is the basic premise of the story. A couple, they break up. Yeah. A very acrimonious divorce. Then the partner, the man in that couple, goes and meets a new woman.

17:39Keyzie:They form a partnership. Now, the story runs that the ex-partner is absolutely filthy about this new relationship. I started watching this one. And can't let her partner go and is sending him and her very, very intense emails about what she's going to do to them now that they're together. Uh-oh. That partner ends up in prison. But was that what happened? I don't think so. So you need to go and watch it to find out what actually happened. That's how it looks from the outside, but actually then they dig deeper, the cops, and they go, hang about, this doesn't make any sense. Yeah. This is not... But you've already chucked her in prison.

18:27Keyzie:Yeah, but she's already in prison. This isn't feeling right here. There's something going on here. So, look, for what it is, three buzzies out of five. Wow, three buzzies.

18:40Jason Hoyte:Yeah, just three buzzies out of five. Were you okay watching something that was like, obviously that's quite dark, after watching Sheena for five nights in a row?

18:51Keyzie:No, it was a good change-up for me. And then I went back to the Tudors, which is very sexy. Sexy stuff. Yeah, good stuff.

19:00Jason Hoyte:Fellas, I've caught the bug, and I've thought about little else other than Widow's Bay on Apple TV. I think about it and talk about it all the time, and I'm surprised it took me this long to watch it. But the house that I'm sitting at, they have an Apple TV subscription, so I'm all over it and I'm up to the final episode. An intriguing balance of comedy and horror. Sometimes it really leans into the horror, which my partner effing hates. But then there'll just be something in there to break the tension and we'll be pissing ourselves laughing. Really good stuff. I give it four out of five buzzies.

19:32just won a record, I believe. Well, it certainly had a record nominations, 15 nominations, and it won a fair chunk as well. It's a brilliant show. Yeah, don't make me say it.

19:44Keyzie:All right, good stuff, fellas. Just a bit of Arctic Monkey, shall we?

20:02Keyzie:Friday Throbber. Dirty.

20:09Keyzie:The Friday Throbber. Yeah. Now, this has been an institution of the big show, really, hasn't it? It really has. It's been here longer than your eye, Jason. Yes. Actually. And I've got to say, this year, old Keezy and I have been given an absolute pantsing from Mogi. He is a runaway. I don't even know why we're bothering, to be honest. I prefer to say that I'm giving you both a thoroughly deserved pounding. Yeah. Actually, I like that better.

20:45Keyzie:And if you don't know what the Friday thrubber is just by chance, each of us in the studio here, we each pick a song to get you in the Friday mood. Then you give us a call on 0800-HODAKI. The first of two votes wins. Yes. All right? Obviously, no Keezy today. so we're going to have to endure a Pugsam bloody yummy boys piece of doosh doosh.

21:09Jason Hoyte:I just want to say there's no Pugs today so I know what the songs are and Jase, I'd be very careful.

21:16Keyzie:Well, you want to start us off actually. No, no, no, you go Pugs. You want me to go? Yeah, it's your one. Sweet, okay.

21:22Jason Hoyte:Let's see what you've got. This is the streets. Yeah, yeah, like I said, you are really fit. But my gosh, don't you just know it? I'm not trying to pull you

21:32Keyzie:Even though I would like to I think you are

21:36Jason Hoyte:Jase? Mike?

21:38Keyzie:But my gosh, don't you know it? What have you got, Jase? This will probably irritate you even more, but it's a tune. Look, you need to indulge me. Just take me back to my prime. It'll probably win. Take me back to my prime

22:01Yeah Shoot

22:11Righto Bit of echo in the bunnyman Bit of echo, yeah I went with a song that's got a drum in it

22:40Keyzie:and that is a result of a video I was sent of a guy hanging around in his own kitchen just doing that to himself for no particular reason Yeah, great stuff. Seem like a sign, fellas. You give us a call right now on 0800 Hauraki. You decide New Zealand. Whoever probably has a final vote in this will probably give them a re-burger voucher for 50 bucks. We'll pick them randomly, I reckon. Yeah, totally. Why not? Good on you, mate. In the meantime, here's Green Day.

23:08Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. It's the Hauraki Big Show's Friday throwback. Dish Dish. Mogey. What? Come on, man.

23:28Keyzie:I don't know how I feel about today's srobbers, actually. Mine's great. Yeah. Okay. I genuinely, Pugs, genuinely expected better from you. I really did. I thought we were going to be in for some kind of a pendulum or chase and status. You know, something. And I remember when that song came out from the streets, his debut single. I'm thinking, jeez, this guy's going nowhere. And so it proved. Yeah. So it proved.

23:58Jason Hoyte:And rightly so. If that's the sort of garbage he's putting out there. I don't know what kind of shit you were talking about, but it sounds like you're trying to swing the voters. No, no. So just keep it to a minimum, all right?

24:08Keyzie:Voters are very strong-willed people. Let's just listen to them. Well, I'll put it to you this way. There are three distinct choices here. That's true. You know what I mean? That's what I said to you. So people are going to love it one way or the other. All right, Pugs, what did you go with? Yeah, yeah, like I said, you are really fit. You're my gosh. Don't you just know it? He blew it. He's done it. Hoardy J, what have you got, man? Hang on. Hey, hey, hey.

24:37Jason Hoyte:You don't get 20 seconds, man. Come on, mate. Get on with it. You guys have lost it. A bit of nostalgia.

24:43Keyzie:A bit of nostalgia for old Hoardy J.

24:57Just going to reserve all judgment until maybe post-throbber. Yeah, I think so. Yeah, that's sort of what I was saying. Okay, here we go, man.

25:04Keyzie:This is Mogi. Oh, man.

25:13Jason Hoyte:I do love that song. Yeah.

25:17Keyzie:Okay, good stuff. Do you want to choose where we go here, Mogey? Oh, that's nice of you, man. Let's just start from the top. Oh, okay. Yeah. Jory, you mad bastard. How's life? Oh, not too bad, mate. How's yours? Yeah, good. Thanks, Jory. What are you running with there, Jory? I'm going with Mogey today, guys. Yeah, man. Good on you, mate. Jory, you get it, man. Whatever, man. You always have. Whatever. G'day, Peter, you mad bastard. How's life? Yeah, pretty good. How about you? Yeah, good. Thanks, mate. Can't complain. Peter?

25:47Jason Hoyte:What are you running with? Well, I'm down with the sickness. I'm going with Nogi. Yeah. Yeah. You get it, man. You get it. And probably because he's the only guy left on. Stay on the line there, Peter, because there could be something in it for your brother because the other guy's gone. It was just a quick two votes today, fellas. It's true. Yeah, true. Oh, jeez. I suppose you've got to play it then. I'm governing the lane. I think we're better, eh?

26:10Keyzie:Might go for wee's, actually.

26:13Jason Hoyte:Scum. The Horaki Big Show with Jase, Mike, and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.

26:19Keyzie:Disturbed. Down with the sickness. Down with the sickness, man. That's your throbber for your Friday afternoon. I wonder what, I guess, first of all, Pugs, can you give us your thoughts on the songs this week? Do you have any sort of thoughts there about, you know, given the history, the quite intense history that we've had this year around selections, were you surprised that Jase came in with that particular song?

26:44Jason Hoyte:No, not necessarily. Yeah Yeah why No but I'm just in the sense That it's not a throbber again Oh absolutely Yeah yeah yeah Not a throbber And we've been through this We've been through this Time and time and time again What if I told you That wasn't his first choice Okay great So he actually had another song That probably would have been better Right And I'll leave it with you Jase Because you might want to use it On another week Bit of tool Oh did you Yeah What happened there

27:10Keyzie:I just wasn't feeling it You know what I mean I just You didn't feel like winning And then I was listening to my tunes and I went, oh, this old doozy. This is a great song. It's not a thrombo-hoity J, but you might just squeeze through because a few backbones out there might go, oh, yeah, that's a tune. I love that song. You only need two passionate people, two passionate fans of a song to pick up the phone and start dialing. Where I feel, I mean, fair cop, Mogi, well done. I just feel like that was Pugs' fault, though. You know what I mean? That you won that. That's right. I don't even know what his song was.

27:47Keyzie:Would you define his as a throbber? Well, I mean, I wouldn't, no. No. That's because I've long held a hatred for that particular song. Doesn't mean it's bad by any stretch of the imagination. But for me, I just feel, for me, it sucks. Yeah, look, and I'm only speaking from my point of view. Mogey's allowed to talk. You are not allowed to say. My perspective here. God, I hated it so much.

28:20Jason Hoyte:But it was the streets, but you know, and it is a tune. That was big for me in the 2000s. A huge song. Absolutely it was. And here we are. We find ourselves, you know, on the verge of Daylight Savings. We're almost in October. Yeah, how good? And Pugs. Huh? Pugs. Still yet to get on board. Zero. I know, humiliating. Zero with an asterisk. I don't want to, okay. We'll go through the scoreboard. Pugs, zero. Where did I get an asterisk from? Probably for the street song. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, so Pugs on a fat zero with an asterisk. At way out in front, 17 now. Well done.

29:01Keyzie:Are we getting into unassailable territory here? I think we are. Yeah. Yeah.

29:07Jason Hoyte:Well, Keezy probably has a better shot with 11 and one asterisk. J7 with two asterisks and a small d. Yeah. The other thing, of course, is you guys have got a couple of weeks coming off, coming up, so I've got a chance to extend my lead. Yeah. And then I might just do a few comedy tunes, you know? Yeah, no. Just for the hell of it when you're out in front, eh? You can just toy with us.

29:34Keyzie:Yeah, good stuff. How do you guys feel about a bit of Powderfinger just to calm down a bit? Bit of a palate cleanser. Yes, I think so.

29:43Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. Red hot.

29:49Keyzie:Chili peppers there on the Hauraki Big Show this Friday afternoon. The time is 5.26. Now, regular listeners to this show will know that over the last three months, the fellas have embarked on a dining culinary experience, namely come dine with the fellas. Mogi, I and Keezy have all done our turns, and there's only one person left to go and that's old Puck's arm.

30:14Jason Hoyte:Come dine with The Feelers. G'day, fellas. Let me start by saying there is a webpage up now under the gigs and events tab at hodaki.co.nz which is a full recap of all the dinner parties so far. So all the videos that we've done and also the podcast so you can catch up on the reviews and the scoring. Yes. Hodaki.co.nz. Bloody great work from you It was actually Dilly. Now, fellas, I... Great work from Dilly too. Yeah, really good work from Dilly. I have a question for you guys, but before I get into asking for advice from two people that have hosted already, I just want to make sure that this won't affect my sort of scoring down the line if I just ask you guys a couple of things.

31:01No, no, I mean, Kesey asked a whole bunch of questions, didn't he? He did.

31:05Keyzie:And just before you ask your question, and this is just as a sideline, And from the very outset, I want to be very clear that I've always said you're the favourite for this. Yes. You constantly come in telling us about your magnificent meals that you create. And so Moggy and I are very much looking forward to it. Very confident. The only thing I really worry about is the vibe. Yes. That's just going to happen on its own. There's nothing you can really do about that. No, no.

31:31Jason Hoyte:You don't think it's going to be a good vibe? Well, I just don't know. I just don't know. You can't tell with me, eh? We don't know.

31:37Keyzie:Just wear your beret, we'll get a couple of chuckles.

31:40Jason Hoyte:Can it be your mother-in-law's beret? Yeah, sure. She won't like it. I just want to check on the, get really specific about the rules of the share of work in the kitchen. Yeah. Because, so obviously I'm planning the meals at the moment with my darling partner. We're working out our theme, our menu and things like that. And we've got a bit of time. but when my partner has a meal idea in mind or is sharing an idea with me, she really wants to take charge of that especially if it's something that maybe is on theme that she's made before so I just sort of want to check how in order to ensure my scoring is safe that I can toe the line how much can my partner help when it comes to the cooking and the preparing and things.

32:32Jason Hoyte:She's wearing the pants, is she? She's wearing the pants. She sometimes wears pants. Nice. Not all the time. Well, it's a tricky one, isn't it? I'll be honest with you. Well, what you've got here is you've got, I did everything by myself. Yeah. Keezy did everything by himself. Jase got help. Now, Jase, in all honesty, should have been marked down for that, but he wasn't. So he got lucky. The problem that you've got now is we're sort of been establishing the rules a little bit as we go along. Yes, yeah. Because the problem we've got is we haven't done it like Come Dime With Me at all. What we should have done is everybody has to set their menu the week before, so everyone's locked into what they're doing.

33:12You can't change it. Go, oh, my God, this has been a great day. I'm going to change what I'm going to do because I've seen what they've done. Yeah. Because you've set your menu, you've set your theme, and you go Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday of a week, and that's your lot. Yes. Yeah. So that's what we haven't done. So there's been a whole bunch of rule shifts over the course of this. It's been quite flexible.

33:29Jason Hoyte:Which have led to some, you know, there's people unhappy. Some people out there are unhappy. Well, most notably and recently, Keezy preparing some food before his actual dinner party. That's right. That's right. Up to three days before. And now, you know, that's good planning. It's a disgrace. It's good planning is what it is. Yes. Right. So I think what you're going to find, Pugs, is in all honesty, the questions are going to come at you. if not from me, certainly from Keezy. Yeah, I think he's going to be extra harsh. Keezy is going to be asking you, when was this made? Yeah. By whom? What day?

34:05Jason Hoyte:Yeah. You're going to get all of those questions. Well, I fed back to him that I thought his entree could have used a bit more risk, and he said, can't wait for your risky entree. Well, and I think you're right. I mean, you gave him an eight, but I asked him for the recipe, and there isn't one. Right. Right. Okay. Do you know? Yeah. Yes. And so you've got to mark that. So he's going to have a very hard. I think that Keezy is going to be throwing sixes left, right, and centre. I really do. What an haymaker. I'm going to have to cop it because of you guys, which is so good. A hundred percent. Because what Keezy's not going to want to do, Jason, and you know him as well as anyone, you think Keezy's going to want to come last on this?

34:40No. I don't. I don't. So I think old Keezy's going to be dragging down the vibe. He's going to be throwing haymakers.

34:48Keyzie:He is. You know what I mean? He's going to go in there just arms swinging. Entree. This is the best thing I've ever eaten. Three.

34:56Jason Hoyte:So I think the vibe is just do whatever I'm going to do and accept that there's probably going to be a few curveballs. I think you do your best. I mean, look, you're going to give yourself your best opportunity if you do it all yourself. If you do it all yourself. That would be my recommendation to you. Will there be some sticky beef? Maybe tofu. The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kesey. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.

35:23Keyzie:Smashing pumpkins there on the radio. Hodaki Big Show this Friday afternoon, and this is the part of the job I love, giving stuff away, fellas. Thanks to our good mate at Trade Tested, we have an amazing price to give away, up to the value of$2 ,500. Am I correct there, Pugson?

We'll have another one next Friday, and I think even the Friday after that.

36:02Keyzie:Yes, we do. So what shall we do? Give our winner a call, fellas? Let's do it! Let's do it! Come on, man. Hello? G'day, is this Liam, is it? It is. Yeah, g'day, Liam. It's old hoity Jay, Mogey, and Pugsan from the Big Show. How are you going, you mad bastard? Oh, I'm very well, thank you. How are you going? Now, Liam, I understand that you took part in our competition with our mates at Trade Tested. Is that correct?

36:29Jason Hoyte:Yeah, I did, actually.

36:30Keyzie:Yeah, OK.

36:32Jason Hoyte:Liam, do you remember anything from your wish list that you put on there? Oh, stand-up paddleboard. Which is crazy, by the way. I remember I've got a couple of the other things here. You've got a barbecue, a chest freezer, a trolley, and that paddleboard.

36:49Keyzie:Oh, sick. Does that sound right to you, Liam? Yeah, that sounds about right. Yeah, well, great news for you, my friend. That's all yours. Fuck, how good?

36:59Jason Hoyte:Pretty good, man. Not bad. Just$2 ,500, man. Not bad, eh? Not a bad day. Not bad at all. Right, and time for summer. What's your favourite thing to chuck on the barbie there, man? Oh, I do like a stay. Yeah. That brings some fresh food. It goes pretty hard. Yeah, it does, doesn't it? Yeah, yeah, good on you.

37:18Keyzie:And what are your plans tonight there, Liam? A bit of celebrating, I imagine.

37:23Jason Hoyte:Oh, it might have to be. I've got work tomorrow, but that can wait. Well, you can just go and see your boss and tell him that he can stick the... I'm rich, Mogey. Yeah! You did it, man. Hold the line, Liam. You can get everything you need for summer from tradetester.co.nz. The competition is still open, so head to hodaki.co.nz for all the details. All right, fellas? Fellas Fellas The Hauraki Big Show Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki

37:53Keyzie:Yeah boy Mews On the Hauraki Big Show This Friday evening The time is 5.51 Fellas Very exciting night In the Hoity J household last night Another auction started An estate auction Which is basically an online auction Where they go to deceased estates And just grab all the stuff And then sell it It's where the people die pugs often of old age, judging by the things that they have. A lot of the things. Now, can I say, Jase, I also, I get the emails, I trawl through them as well. Yes. It's really weird because it's all very, very similar stuff. Do you know what I mean? Yes, I do. Like auction by auction by auction.

38:32Everyone's got a bunch of weird chairs, vases, lamps, and all sorts, but all very much in the same style. Generally, either incredibly expensive or very suspiciously reasonably priced. Yes. And I would love to buy it all, but it's one of those things where it's like, well, I absolutely do not need it. Yeah. And I'd just be wasting what money I've got. And so I sort of steer clear of it now, but I spend a lot of time on those things.

39:00Keyzie:Yeah, they're great stuff. I mean, if you're looking for, as you say, something a bit more unusual outside the box, you know, not your sort of store-bought stuff, Pugs-A-N. and what I'm not a sort of tap that you've got but it's a really interesting thing for me because I observe myself while I'm observing things and I get sort of obsessions about stuff and I don't know why for example my latest obsession is Japanese knives and I'm not talking like Sumeride knives or anything like that Sumeride Yeah, sumu. Sumu. Samurai. Samurai. There you go. Sorry. God. I mean Japanese cooking knives. Yes. Like that are handmade and handmade.

39:50Keyzie:Oh, they're beautiful. Absolutely stunning. So I was getting into those because there were hundreds of the buggers, and I was like, this is great stuff. Bit on that bar, said$20, that's a bargain. Bidding away on all these knives. But the ridiculous thing about that is the day before this auction, my wife, we were looking at all our knives in the kitchen. This is before I even saw the Japanese knives. And she said, oh, we should go and get those sharpened. And I said, oh, do you know where to go to get them sharpened? And she said, oh, yeah, a friend of mine, she was out with a friend of hers and she'd taken this big bundle of knives with her.

40:30Keyzie:And my wife was like, oh, where are you taking those? and she said, oh, just down the road to get them sharpened. And I said, oh, well, what a great idea. And it was cheap as chips. Yeah. You know what I mean? And we've got like six or seven really nice knives, cooking knives. And I, well, let's do that, for goodness sakes. And so that was, you know, I'd only just had that conversation and now I'm looking at Japanese cooking knives going, oh, that's a beauty. I'm going to bid on that bastard. You're not buying the practicality. You're buying it because it's cool. Yeah, the dream. because you need to occupy your time.

41:03That's why drinking was so good because you're very, very rarely going to be drinking and just sitting around buying knives.

41:10Jason Hoyte:You're out and about. You're having adventures. Yes. Are your knives no good? Are they lacking? Well, some of them are really not sharp. This is the thing, and this is what people do, right? You buy great knives, and a great knife, any knife really, should last you your whole life. It should. Not any knife, but it should. But it used to be that everybody would have in their house a stone and a steel, and you'd sharpen it yourself, but nobody knows how to do it anymore. So they just get blunt, then you F and G, and then you stab yourself with it. And then you bit him, and if you want a sharp knife, you need a new one.

41:38Yeah, totally.

41:39Jason Hoyte:Well, you were saying it's because a lot of the time that people have died that these estate things kind of come along. Yes. Maybe it was, in this case, a sumaru. It could have been a sumaru. A sumaru. A sumaru.

41:51Keyzie:A sumaru. Well, you know, and the other thing I need to factor in here, and I think this is a sort of unconscious part of my brain, is Pugsan's looking after my joint again. Oh, yeah. And, you know, he is a top-quality chef. He loves all things Japanese. You're setting me up for failure. We've come down with that. And I'm thinking to myself, jeez, I better have – imagine how good that'll be for Pugsan to have in my block there some hand-crafted Japanese cooking knives for his sticky beef, et cetera.

42:25Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.

42:31Keyzie:Welcome back, you mess of backbones. Hope your Friday's absolutely going off. You're listening to The Big Show, incidentally, brought to you by Reburger.

42:39Jason Hoyte:Serving good times and good food. Dine in or take away Reburger today.

42:45Keyzie:Scrum, diddly-umptious. Mmm. Mmm. Believe you're going out for dinner tonight, old Mogey. Got a bit of a date night with the miso there. Going out for something to eat somewhere, and then I'm going to a comedy show, or we're going to a comedy show. So yeah, it'll be bloody good. Yeah, yeah, excited. What are you eating, pugs? What am I eating? You want to see your plans, man?

43:08Jason Hoyte:So my partner's actually stuck around to catch up with me post-show because we're going to walk home, and there's a fish and chip shop we've been eyeing up in the area that we're house-sitting that looks quite fancy, and I don't often get, like, nice up-market fish and chips. Do you not? And she's getting back to her seafood, so it seems like the right sort of Friday takeaway sort of yarn. Good luck. What do you mean? Well, it could go either way. And the Seabrooks, it used to be like, fish and chips used to be a cornerstone for the broke human. You know, you had no money, you always had three bucks, piece of fish and a scoop.

43:42Keyzie:Yeah, sweet. Not anymore, mate, forget about that.

43:44Jason Hoyte:Especially not in the area you're in. Well, no, we want to try it. We want to try it out. Jase, what are you having, man?

43:51Keyzie:That really gets on my goat. I'm still, you know, I still fume about burgers that are like 20, 25 bucks. I go, no, no, thank you.

44:00Jason Hoyte:The only place that it's worth every dollar or more is reburgers. Reburger, yeah, thank you. Absolutely. And even then, that's not how much they cost. No. Thank you. Yeah, so much cheaper than that. Unless you double up, in which case. Oh, yeah. In a bank for your buck.

44:12Keyzie:I'm meeting my wife after the show. Look at us. Just three fellas meeting up with their girls. With their loved ones for a Friday. Yeah, just wait. We'll have a little bit of a wander, find somewhere to eat, and then go home and I'll get back into, you know, trying to go on the auction again probably. Yeah, I reckon. Good luck, man. Get some nice little pugs on. Hey, now remember, if you've got an idea for name or bear, text us now, 3483. You could win yourself an amazing Emerson's hoodie.

44:41Jason Hoyte:And also we're going to be giving out some advice on Meat Petty. What is it? Meat Petty Nip 69 at gmail.com. That's number. You're going to write it down. Now I'm going to screw it up the next time too. Is this rage? The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.

44:59Keyzie:The Blank Keys there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday evening. Now we've teamed up with our good mates at Emerson's Brewery again. They've created a new beer. What is it? A tropical, hazy, pale ale.

45:12Jason Hoyte:That's exactly right, Jason. It's all in celebration of the 2026 Dunedin Craft Beer and Food Festival. without spoiling too much. We might be making a little trip down there. But we've been looking for a name for it, haven't we, fellas? What's that? That was weird, man. We are going to be down there. We're doing a live show, aren't we? It's number nine.

45:35Jason Hoyte:Yes, we are. Yes, we are going to be down there. We've been looking for name suggestions on 3483 for your chance to win an Emerson's hoodie. We've had some great ones. I had one earlier that was Shite Bear for C-Bombs which isn't really going to get you over the line but we are going to call someone that has a name idea let's give them a call fellas Oh god

46:00Hello

46:01Keyzie:G'day mate What are you doing? 20J and Mogi and Pugsan from the big show, how are you going? I'm doing good, I'm good mate, how are you? Yeah good thanks mate, who are we speaking to? Who are we speaking to? This is Elliot. Elliot.

46:18Jason Hoyte:Elliot Ness. You're in Dunners, aren't you, Elliot? That's the one. Yeah, good.

46:23Keyzie:How's Dunners today, Elliot? It's actually a beautiful evening.

46:28Jason Hoyte:It's come out to be. Oh, nice. You sound like you're having a bit of a nap there, man, or you're just stoned. A bit of Colin A, bit of Colin D.

46:37Keyzie:Oh, yes. That's no good, mate. Hey? Hey, now I believe that you sent through an idea for naming our bear. Is that correct, Elliot?

46:46Jason Hoyte:That is correct.

46:47Keyzie:Can you remember what it was?

46:50Jason Hoyte:That would be Hazy and Pale Yellow Weez.

46:53Keyzie:Yeah, Hazy and Pale Yellow. With me, Keezy?

46:58Jason Hoyte:Yeah, we got a winner. I think we might as well just chuck with me, Keezy on the end of anything. Yes. Now, Elliot, thanks to you, mate. That name is in the hat, I guess. and we're going to send you an Emerson's hoodie in celebration of the 2026 Deleting Craft Beer and Food Festival. Will we see you there since you're a Dunners man?

47:16Keyzie:Absolutely. Yeah, good on you. Yeah, good on you. You frigging backbone, man.

47:21Jason Hoyte:I tell you what, you hold the line and I'll get back to you after this and we'll get your hoodie size. All right, mate? The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.

47:31Keyzie:The White Stripes there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Friday evening. Now, fellas, something's got a hold on me. It's really got deep inside my goat because I've got a bit of a bone to pick, actually. Ah, I got a bone to pick. Well, I don't even know if it's a bone to pick, but something has started happening and I don't understand it. And it's to do with social media. Yeah, lie. Yes. Now, I've noticed of late, maybe the last sort of three or four days, I've been wandering around and I'll get a notification on my phone and it'll say, such and such has responded to your comments on Instagram.

48:20And I'll go, oh, okay.

48:23Keyzie:And I'll go and see what the comment is and what it's referring to. You know, and it'll often be of a political nature. Let me put it that way. Yes. But here's my point, and this has happened like four or five times now where people have responded to my comment about something and I haven't made a comment. Right. No, genuinely haven't made a comment about it, and I'm trying to find where's this comment of mine that this person is responding to, and there is no hoity-jay comment. And that's where they've got you, though, haven't they? Because what are you doing at that point? Well, I've gone in to see.

49:03You're back on Instagram, mate. You're back on the treadmill. They've got you. They've done you. You've been done again. Have I been done again?

49:10Keyzie:Is that genuinely what it is, though? You've been absolutely done. Because I'm like, what the? Well, that's interesting you say that because my wife said to me the other day, she's been off Instagram for like a whole month. Right. She's gone, that's it. I'm not doing it. and she's been getting these messages saying, have you responded to the message from blah, blah, blah? And she's like, what? And she'll go into her phone and it's like she responded to a message from a friend like a month ago. Yeah, that's right. So because she's not on there, they're sending her messages to get her back on there.

49:47Is that genuinely what it is? 100%. There's nothing these sons of bitches won't do. If I could suggest anything to you, and I've never had them on, turn your notifications off for social media. There is nothing of interest there that comes up. Like that. Oh, someone's responded to your comment. Who gives a shit?

50:10Keyzie:Generally, I don't care. But you're straight back in there. It's got you, you see. And you're asking the question. And you're right, but only from the perspective of, well, what was my comment? I don't remember what my comment was. That's what they say, because otherwise they would put your comment in there, right? Yes. But they don't want to do that because it gets you curious enough to go and have a look. They're not idiots, mate. They got you. If you have got social media, turn off your notifications. It's not important enough. That way, at least you're only going in there when you want to.

50:39That makes me filthy to know that. Which is also too often. It's bad enough. Yes.

50:44Jason Hoyte:It's bad enough without getting sent messages saying, come and have a geese at these. The best thing I've ever done is turn off notifications for Instagram to stop seeing your nerd reels. your AI horror slop shit.

50:56Keyzie:Pudge, they're not nerd reels. They are. They are just reels that I think you'd appreciate. I don't know. I think there's something karmic happening here. And be, you know, part of a community of nerds.

51:07Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.

51:11Keyzie:Jane's Addiction there on the Hauraki Big Show this Friday evening now. A lot of people are struggling with the world out there at the moment. And it's great to have old timers like Nathana me and Logie to give out advice on any given situation. So let's give out that advice.

51:33Jason Hoyte:MeatPattyNips69 at gmail.com. Get in touch with the fellas.

51:45Get on with that, please, bud.

51:46Jason Hoyte:It's a real email address. meetpattynips69 at gmail.com Send in your advice. We'll keep it anonymous unless you specifically request and if you get it read out on the radio I'll eventually send you a rebid year voucher. Can I just correct you there?

52:03Keyzie:Don't send in your advice No, send in your question and we'll give you the advice. It's all G man Can you just make a note of that? Yeah, no I have already Dear Bogsy

52:18Jason Hoyte:G'day fellas Long time listener, first time texter Well, it's an email I'm looking for some advice about a topic that is the opposite of the issue In the recent Big Show V Farmers episode I currently live in Auckland with my wife and one year old daughter And have always lived in big cities But my wife and I have decided to move to the regions To be closer to her family I wanted your advice on how I can get accustomed to life in the regions Given I've always lived in cities and I'm a city boy I'm going to be working from home, so I won't have the usual workplace to make friends, etc., etc. Cheers for your advice.

52:52Jason Hoyte:Anonymous. Yeah, that's a really big call. Yeah. Welcome to a life of isolation. Yes. That's no good, man. That's no good. You're going to be working from home. This is exactly what happened to me going to Waiheke.

53:03Keyzie:Yes.

53:04Jason Hoyte:True. Six-week-old daughter, wife. None of my family told me that you need to be around family to help you with the upbringing of your sprog there. So off we went to Waiheke Island, completely isolated. Boom, COVID hit. Boom, home alone. Boom. Yeah. It's a toughie. And the beautiful thing about living on Waiheke is we didn't bond with our community at all. Yeah, good. I haven't got a single friend over there. We lived there for, was it three and a half, four years? I don't know anyone that lives there.

53:34Keyzie:Was it that long? Yeah. Wow. Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, wow. Yeah, it was a long time. It's a beautiful spot. I was just saying today, I really, really miss it. Yes. But not the people. I don't miss the people at all because I didn't meet any. I think in relation to this, what you need to be prepared for in this situation is a slow creeping madness and insanity. Yes. Thank you. Of just going crazy because you're isolated, as Mogi said. You're locked in your own head. You've got none of your pals around. Yep. It's a shit show. You've got to join clubs. Yes. Especially if you're working from home. Any kind of sex club that you can get your hands on, anything that's a swinging, and they'll be there.

54:22Oh, they're certainly in the rural communities. Yeah, absolutely they will. So any kind of swinging, anything like that, you've just got to get yourself involved in it because that's all the rage.

54:32Keyzie:I tell you what I did when I was in a very small little community. I joined the local fire brigade. Yes. Volunteer. Yeah, as a volunteer. Yeah, good on you, man. And we had meetings every two weeks. is true story pugs. Meetings every two weeks. And when I say meetings, I mean massive piss-ups. Yeah. Cool. And someone might bang on for 15 minutes about a type of fire that may happen and what you need to do, but we're all too steamed to really take it in. True story. And then I'd stagger back from the local community hall to my residence. Yeah, good. Yeah. I grew a lot of natural things out there too.

55:09Keyzie:I did a lot of fishing and made homebrew. The sad thing as well is, of course, that you're going to be near her family. Yes. Just divorce her.

55:18Jason Hoyte:Yeah, it's over. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.

55:30Keyzie:Well, there you go, you mad bastards. That's a big show done and dusted this Friday evening. It's been a pleasure bringing it to you. in the disclaimer, which was formerly known as the outro podcast. What's the clip you've got for us today there, Pugs? There was a lot of ADHD chat from recollection.

55:48Jason Hoyte:Yes, particularly the possibility that some of the folks around here might be undiagnosed. So what we've found is there's something wrong with Pugs. Yeah. Because three out of four backbones are off their f***ing heads. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm too straight-edge, fellas. I've got to loosen up a little bit. Get some.

56:10Keyzie:Yeah, good stuff. Good stuff, man. Mogi, your plans for the weekend? I'm going to Waiheke Island on Sunday. Yeah, boy. Funnily enough. How good. Going for a little lunch at my favourite restaurant over there, so that'll be good. Got to go for a swim, ocean swim. Yeah, nice. You got to get that in because it's daylight savings, you see.

56:29Jason Hoyte:Is it? This weekend? Daylight savings. Of course. So daylight savings, fellas, you got to get your first ocean swim in. That's a rule. Yes, that's a rule. I can't wait to walk home in the sun, man. How good.

56:39Keyzie:It's going to be real good. It's going to be real good. I was down at the wharf there today on my normal little walk there watching the ferry go off to Waiheke. The ferry? Yeah, and I was a little bit jealous, actually. I thought to myself, how good would that be? It was a beautiful sunny morning, and off they tootled, and I was like, ah, wish I was going to Waiheke. Yeah, haven't been for bloody ages.

56:59Jason Hoyte:What are you up to, Pugs? Tomorrow I'm going to do some hot Pilates. A friend's running a hot Pilates class. I've got to get into Pilates. Mate, it is bloody good. It is bloody good. And then I'll catch up with a couple of mates. Got a friend's birthday in the evening. And then Sunday there's some, like, greyhound event, dog event that I'd like to go to. I don't know. It's worth a hoon.

57:21Keyzie:What about you, Jase, man? Well, tomorrow I've got a mate and his partner coming over for coffee. And then we'll just cruise for the rest of the day. I've got to learn a few lines, fellas. Oh, yeah. Which I'm not happy about. What I might try and do genuinely is have a bit of a fish over the weekend. Get back into my fishing. Okay. Lots of areas just down there by Mission Bay, et cetera, et cetera. All right. So that'll be really good. Okay. And, you know, as always, I imagine do our... All right, I'll see you later. I'll be late for dinner. See you. Bye.
