In short

The Hauraki Big Show (Jason Hoyte, Mike Minogue, Keyzie) covers bad sleep/hair banter, a “would you rather” debate (NRL Warriors grand final vs Bathurst), an Uber driver urinating in Keyzie’s garden, Netflix “The Preacher’s Wife” talk, “Come Down with the Fjellas” voucher gags (are they legit/cashable?), Emerson’s hoodie beer-name competition, and Keyzie’s upcoming 20-man sleepover in Clevedon.

Guests (on this episode)

No external guests appear. Guests are callers: Brad (building/water technician), Justin (production manager), Brian (sales), Mike (chippy), and Briony (social worker). Keyzie’s “date” is referenced but not present.

Guest backgrounds

Brad is a water technician; Justin manages production; Brian works in sales; Mike is a chippy; Briony is a social worker.

Key claims

Uber driver “wheeze”/urinated on Keyzie’s property; vouchers from “Come Down with the Fjellas” are intended as services (spa/sauna, hot pot, night on the town, portrait, makeover, tours) and should be honorably cashed in; Netflix series is dragged out unnecessarily.

Notable examples

“Wheezy Keezy”/“done you” jokes; voucher for “spa and sauna with Pug San” and “night on the town with old Mogi”; sleepover advice (earplugs/eye mask, even zipping sleeping bags).

0:00Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show. Thanks to crave-worthy street food. Freshly made with Reburger.

0:09Keyzie:Welcome, this is Big to the Hauraki Big Show. Really Big. With Jason Hoyte, Mike Minogue and Keyzie. Oh, g'day you mad bastards. Great to have your company this gloomy Thursday afternoon. It is the 3rd of September, 2026 and you my friends, as always, listening to The Big Show brought to you by Reburger.

0:29Mike Minogue:Handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and gourmet eats that will change the game.

0:33Keyzie:Mmm, yummy. We burger. Yeah, great stuff, great stuff. Speaking of great stuff, I tell you what, I've had a few walks around the city today. She's heating up. I'm getting spring vibes. And I'm looking across the studio desk here and I see old Moggy's down to his t-shirt and I love that. I love it. I just love it. How are you going, Moggy, you stallion? Oh, I'm not going very grouse, you mad dog, you sick son of a bee. A bit tired lately, man. I've been a bit tired in the dumps. Bad sleeps. Pretty good sleep last night. Yes. But I don't know, busy brain or what's going on there. I've got really boofy hair at the moment.

1:12Yeah, I'm not loving the hair. It's terrible. I've got an appointment for it, Keezy, so I'm going to sort it out, brother. But it just sort of brings me down, you know. People don't want to be looking at old Moogie with his boofy hair. Nobody likes boofy hair. Your boof head. Speaking of boofy hair, it's all Keezy over there.

1:28Mike Minogue:Keezy's got a hat on at the moment because he's got a case of the boofy hair as well. Have you got a case of the boofs? Yeah, I've got a case for the boofs.

1:38Have you got an appointment booked in? Monday, yeah. That's too far away for you, man, because he is a shocking bastard.

1:45Mike Minogue:Oh, okay, man.

1:49Mike Minogue:What the hell is wrong with you two? Go good there. Me and Mogi are on a good buzz, man. We're just vibing, man. We went out on a date last night. We're sort of glowing in the aftermath of it.

1:58Keyzie:But you're not in a buzz. You're both bitching about, oh, my hair's not right. And then you bagged our hair as well. Well, only because you were bagging it.

2:05Mike Minogue:Exactly. How are you, Jase? Yeah, I'm great, thanks. Clearly in a hur of the mood.

2:09Keyzie:Feeling really good. My hair's looking sharp as. I was just going to say, man, pretty shocking on the boofness. But no, very well, thanks, fellas. Can't complain. Oh, good. Hey, what's coming up on the show, Moogie?

2:26Keyzie:What's happening on the big show with Old Mogi? Fellas, it's another opportunity to get yourself into the draw for our Would You Rather competition we run at the moment. You could be going to the football final in Sydney or you could be going to Mount Panorama for the big race. We've been very vague about it, but it's was or cars essentially. Keezy, listen out for the cuticle and you could be with a chance to win, man. Outside of that, I noticed here on our document, because we run a document, and it says, Mogi sharpens his pencil. Oh. No idea what that means, but we'll get into that later on, fellas.

2:59And coming up next, Keezy had a hot date, not just with me, but with an Uber driver. Man.

3:04Mike Minogue:Well, I didn't have a date with an Uber driver. Well, did you call him up and did he come over? I didn't call him. I messaged him. Yeah, you messaged him. It's all making sense now. I slid into his DMs.

3:11Keyzie:Thank you. The hooded eyes, the messy hair, the stubble. I'm putting the pieces together.

3:17Mike Minogue:Yeah, I shagged the Uber driver. Oh, wow.

3:20Keyzie:Here's the black keys.

3:21Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show Weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki

3:26Keyzie:Yes indeed Nirvana there on the Hauraki Big Show This Thursday afternoon The time is 4.12

3:32Mike Minogue:Hey fellas Can you get your opinion on something?

3:36Keyzie:Probably

3:36Mike Minogue:Something that happened to me So I Ubered here today right? Why did you do that Keith? Because I'm judging a Battle of the Bands type thing tonight Yeah right How good Which in the role does involve me getting free beers. Right, me. Yeah, well, okay. But they did say, hey, responsibly, and I said, of course. Yes. Is that why you got your Tony jacket on? Because it's like pretty rock and roll. Yeah, it's pretty cool. Hey. Hey. Is that why? Yeah, that's right. Okay. Okay, I'm up to speed. Yeah, cool. And that stuff's really important. It's important you know that stuff because it's crucial to the story.

4:11Mike Minogue:Came outside, right? The Uber's outside. Hey, Uber's here. Cool. Walk outside. he's standing five metres away from my house with his back to me doing wheeze in my garden. That's all GA. Apparently.

4:28Keyzie:The reality...

4:29Mike Minogue:And 3483 on the text line there. Can you get your thoughts? Every text in the drawer for 50 bucks, Reburger.

4:34Keyzie:Look, I have sympathy for the guy because here's the reality, fellas. And we've experienced this recently. When you need to go, you need to go. Right.

4:44Mike Minogue:You know what I'm saying? and... Well, he didn't do a pug steamer in the garden. No, I know. It wasn't a pug's own special 20 minutes at a dinner party. A secret steamer, yeah.

4:53Keyzie:It's like, you know, I did a little fart when I did wheeze this morning.

4:58Mike Minogue:That is so gross.

5:00Keyzie:And I... I hope this is going somewhere. This was in the en suite. And I went, oh, God, that was a bit loud. And I came out and I said to my wife, sorry about that, darling. And she said, that's all right. It's just your body. Yeah. It's perfectly natural. And a kid. Here was this guy. He was probably driving people all over the place. And then he was like, jeez.

5:23Mike Minogue:Yeah, it's more of a, like, right outside my house, as I'm coming out the front door, he's there pissing.

5:28Keyzie:Yeah, well, obviously the need was great. No, totally.

5:31Mike Minogue:And I get it. And I personally didn't really care. My wife was waving me off. And she was like, is he peeing? My wife was waving me off. Oh. Like, see ya. Oh. Because she was standing outside the front door and just waving until I'm out of sight. Yeah, yeah, yeah, standing. Yeah, yeah. It sounds like what's happened there because normally what you do as an Uber driver, and you've done, you and I have both been Uber drivers, Joes, taxi drivers, you'd normally take a break. You go to a servo or something like that that's got a, what do you call those things there? A toilet. A toilet. Yes. And you do your wheeze in the toilet.

6:00Now what's obviously happened there is the jobs come through. Yeah. Jobs come through, he's seen old Keezy there and he's thought, oh, I'll just piss on his garden, this guy. So then he has just done you. He's absolutely done you. He's disrespected you, and he's brought great shame on your whare and your name, and your missus is probably sitting at home just head in her hands like, what have I done?

6:26Keyzie:And actually, you know, he was marking his, you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's done you. I'll give you an example. It's like when we play golf, for example, with old Keezy. He goes around the golf course like it's his land. Yeah. And he's urinating every second hole and just spreading his scent so that no other, you know, dude goes and does the same. It's like, hey, this is my territory. Yeah. No one's allowed here.

6:58Mike Minogue:So you reckon he's done that to me? Yes. Well, he's absolutely done that. You've walked outside, he's urinating in your garden. Yeah. He's eyeballing you. He wasn't eyeballing you. Get in the car, man. I'll be there in a minute. He wasn't eyeballing me. He had his back to me. But my wife was like, that's a bit weird, isn't it? I was like, oh, I don't know. It's just water.

7:18Keyzie:Yeah.

7:19Mike Minogue:Well, it's not. It's urine. It's wheeze. Yeah. But it's mostly water, isn't it?

7:23Keyzie:Was it a powerful stream?

7:25Mike Minogue:I didn't go have a look, to be honest.

7:26Keyzie:Right.

7:27Mike Minogue:Just hopped in the car and waited for him. Well, no, look. Then he went inside and washed his hands as well. It was weird.

7:35Mike Minogue:What?

7:36Keyzie:No, I was going to say, I give you, it's weird. Give us your thoughts on 3483. I never had that, but I never heard of that. No.

7:43Mike Minogue:Do you think I should, like, do what a dog does and go over to the spot on all fours? Yes. And then just lift the leg. Look over your shoulder at it. Look back over the shoulder. Yeah, thanks, fellas. Oh, it's not over yet. Plenty more to come on this. Nah, I think we can park it. Here's Muse.

8:02Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.

8:08Keyzie:Red hot. Chilli Peppers there on the radio. Hauraki Big Show this Thursday afternoon. The time is 25 minutes past four o 'clock. In a shocking state of affairs for O 'Keezy yesterday, when he ordered an Uber, he went outside when the Uber arrived, and the Uber driver was in fact urinating in his garden.

8:27Mike Minogue:Yeah, well, it was actually today, Jase. Oh, was it today? It was. My apologies. It was on the way here. I thought it was on your car against your truck. What? Is that not right? My truck doesn't have a garden. No, it was in my garden, man. Right, okay. Well, that's a little bit better, I guess. Because remember, you thought he was pissing on my car. Well, I thought he was just doing you. You know, he's absolutely done you. He's come onto your property. He's done you. He's just urinating everywhere all over the show. What does he care? He's probably texting while he was doing it. Yeah. Because he's just thinking, what's this guy going to do about it?

8:58And I want to know what you did do about it.

9:01Mike Minogue:Well, I mean, I sort of just went and hopped in the car and waited for him. and then he hopped back in and then he goes, you're Chris, right? And I was like, yeah. He's like, yeah, cool. All right, we'll head off. Zip. Yeah. Look, a lot of people texting on 3483, man. People giving their opinions on this huge topic. I'd love to know. It's a disgrace. Well, it's not really. It doesn't really matter. Someone's saying here, I've been an Uber driver for 47 years, usually just discreetly wee my pants a bit if I really need to go. Yeah, that's fair.

9:33Keyzie:I've done what they do. Yeah.

9:33Mike Minogue:See, I wouldn't do that either because then it just smells of weeds.

9:35Keyzie:When I was doing the taxi run, I just wore a massive male diaper. Yes.

9:40Mike Minogue:Oh, right. Yeah, so, you know.

9:42Keyzie:It's like when people are gambling, you know, and they just put their diapers on so that they don't move. And you had your lucky diaper, didn't you? Yeah. So you could use that for the taxi driving and also for the gambling. Yeah, yeah.

9:53Mike Minogue:When you say your lucky diaper, did you just reuse the same one?

9:56Keyzie:Yes. Well, I just never took it off.

9:59Mike Minogue:What about this one here? G'day, guys. Urinating in public is against the law, plus it's highly unprofessional, I'd be complaining to Uber and ringing the police. The trouble is if you do that, let's say it goes to court, it becomes public, it gets into the public sphere there, the media get a hold of it there, Keezy, your front page, and everybody knows that this guy's done you. Yeah. What's the headline? Local radio DJ gets done. Wheezy Keezy. No, that's not going to be the headline. 100 % of it. Wheezy head. A lot of texts coming in on 3483. Ashley says, are you complaining that he wasn't facing you?

10:37That's a good point, actually.

10:38Mike Minogue:No, it's not. No, I'm not complaining about that. William reckons I should have just knocked the idiot out. I like that. Hardcore. Wow. Come on, man. Well, you certainly should frog march him off your property. How dare you. Grab him by the air load. Yeah. Come on, you. Yeah. Right. But then his car was up my driveway and outside my house. That's your car now. Totally. Yeah. Well, he committed a crime on your property. On your property. It's by rights your car So I can steal his car No no It's a looter's right type situation Yeah well that's what I mean Under the same sort of umbrella as looter's rights Yeah right okay Such a weird umbrella that one That's a good point from Daniel here Keezy your house already stinks of piss Does it?

11:18Keyzie:Does it? We're going there for dinner soon I hope not

11:21Mike Minogue:Yeah it does man it's terrible The Hauraki Big Show With Jase, Mike and Keezy Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki One simple question. One weekend of a lifetime. Would you rather?

11:36Keyzie:Yes, indeed. Would you rather WARS or CARS? It's over to you, New Zealand.

11:42Mike Minogue:That's right. The NRL Grand Final, if the WARS are there.

11:44Keyzie:Yes, they will be, man. I've got to feel it.

11:47Mike Minogue:I feel it. Fingers crossed. Or Bathurst, of course, for the great race.

11:52Keyzie:And you were saying, actually, I think it was yesterday, Mogi, that the NRL sold out, the Grand Final. Yeah, yeah, sold out a month or so ago. Wow. With 25 % of all tickets sold going to Warriors fans, you have to say what team you're going for. Weirdly, 10 % were going for the Broncos, who very nearly got the wooden spoon. Yes. So it sort of settles down. As soon as you know who the finalists are, everyone starts flogging off their tickets to whoever fans, whichever fan base has actually made them to the game. It actually makes sense, doesn't it? It does.

12:24Mike Minogue:It certainly does, Jase, good point.

12:26Keyzie:Shall we go to the phone lines, fellas? G'day, Brad, you mad bastard. How's life? Oh, life's good today, on site. Yeah, good on you, mate. How was it yesterday?

12:35Mike Minogue:Oh, it's the same again. Yeah, how's it looking tomorrow?

12:40Keyzie:Probably similar. Okay, but it's Friday, though.

12:43Mike Minogue:Yeah, well, early, early not, maybe. Yeah, yeah, I like it, Brad.

12:47Keyzie:Stick around for the throbber. Yeah, yeah, do.

12:50Mike Minogue:Yeah, stay at work until the throbber, all right, Brad? Okay, yep.

12:54Keyzie:Tell me, Brad, what do you do for a crust? building, I'm imagining?

12:59Mike Minogue:I'm a water technician. You know one of those guys?

13:01Keyzie:Oh, yeah. Keezy had one of those on his lawn today. Yeah, that's right.

13:06Mike Minogue:No, it was just a guy doing a piss. Did you hear about that? Did you hear about that, Brad? I did, I did. What do you think about that? I don't know how you'd stop that leak, though. What do you think about that, man? If you walk out on your front lawn and someone's just urinated on your lawn, do you reckon that guy's just absolutely done, Keezy, or what?

13:23Keyzie:He's done Keezy a ripper. Yeah, good on you, mate.

13:25Mike Minogue:Good stuff, Brad.

13:26Keyzie:Tell me, Brad, what are you thinking, mate? Wars or cars?

13:32Mike Minogue:I like cars, but I'm definitely more up the wars. Yeah, totally. Good on you, Brad. Good on you, mate. You're in the draw.

13:39Keyzie:Stay on the line. Old pugs will look after you, all right? Cheers, bye. Good on you, mate. G'day, Justin, you mad bastard. How's life? Yeah, good thanks, guys. Good on you. Yeah, good on you, mate. What do you do for a crust, Justin? I'm a production manager. Oh, backbone! What kind of TVs and movies and that sort of thing are you?

14:01Mike Minogue:Nah, nah, mate, animal products. Oh, okay. Animal products. You've been suitably vague there. I like the sound of this. Hey, Justin, would you rather Bathurst or the NRL grand final, man? Definitely the NRL, fellas. Yeah, good last time. Good on you, mate. Good on you, Justin. Hey, you hold the line and I'll pug sand. Pug sand will have a damn good go at you, right?

14:24Keyzie:Oh, no.

14:25Mike Minogue:Cheers, fellas. You guys have a good one, eh? Yeah, same with you, Justin, your backbone.

14:29Keyzie:Why do you say, oh, no?

14:30Mike Minogue:What's wrong? Oh, because what do you call pugs there, man? Pug San. Oh, no. Instead of Pug San. You're thinking about that guy today, aren't you? Yeah, the Uber driver. Yeah, doing what he's. He's really thrown me. Yeah, he is. To be honest, guys, I might need tomorrow off mental health.

14:45Keyzie:He's weakened you.

14:46Mike Minogue:Because he's done me, apparently.

14:48Keyzie:That's me and you that have both been done now, Bokey. Yeah, just got done. Just got done. What was that one? you got done idiot

14:56Mike Minogue:it's when you when you were ordering a sandwich and a guy came over you asked what you'd ordered you said the chicken and then he said ugh idiot

15:03Keyzie:barn me what if it was the same guy could have been have you ever been done Mogi oh probably man no doubt about it

15:10Mike Minogue:I think you'd remember my barber here's Ziggy Pop The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki

15:20Keyzie:it'd be actually really nice to play the end of the song just on a loop You know why you were lying in your bed there and snuggled up? I'm in a bit of a spoon. Just cuddling up nice and warm there. And your naked bodies just pressed against each other.

15:39Mike Minogue:Why is your voice changing?

15:41Keyzie:Hey, Biz Talk TV. What's on the telly with Mike Minogue?

15:50Yeah. That's right. Nah, didn't watch anything last night, fellas. I was out on a date with my best boy. Oh, Keezy over there.

15:58Mike Minogue:Yeah, it was a date. Yeah, yeah. Hot. No, it wasn't. Sexy. We'll talk about it later. Sweet. Jay, stop being weird. What do you mean, man? And tell us what you watched on TV. He's been a charming bastard. Thank you, mate. You better be careful, Keezy. You might just charm the pants off of you. Hey, Keezy. You like that? Keezy.

16:18Keyzie:All right. Yellow.

16:21Mike Minogue:What is going on here? How are you talking?

16:24Keyzie:Giddy up. What did you watch last night?

16:26Mike Minogue:Something on Samsung TV. Alone. I watched alone.

16:30Keyzie:No, it wasn't on Samsung TV, actually, Keezy. It was Netflix. For your information. A doco, The Preacher's Wife. Now, as you can imagine by the title, The Preacher is a piece of work. And he's married. And he's married. Yes, he is, Keezy. Wow. Good job from you, man. Thank you. And he has a member of his congregation, a beautiful young lady, who he's involved with. Let me put it that way. And then after preaching about fidelity, about the sanctity of marriage. Thank you. What does he do, Moggy? He can't help himself. He has an affair. He does, and he divorces his wife. The preacher's wife. and marries this young congregation member.

17:21Mike Minogue:So she's now the preacher's wife.

17:22Keyzie:So she is now the preacher's wife. Should this have been called the preacher's ex-wife?

17:28Mike Minogue:Yeah. What happens? Does she get... She's not happy? It's not good. The preacher's new wife?

17:34Keyzie:Suffice to say, their marriage is not good, and he's a real piece of work. Oh, he has another go. Well, he's having affairs all over the shop. Is he? Yes. whilst preaching about. Yeah, oftentimes you find that those that make the loudest noise or DJ got the most to hide. Yes.

17:54Mike Minogue:Oh, no, you're preaching to the congregation, mate. No, I'm preaching to the choir. The choir, yeah. What did I say? The congregation. Yeah, yeah. Sorry about that.

18:01Keyzie:Anyway, suffice to say, it's an unpleasant story. I think it went for three episodes. Good stuff, though. And my wife and I got in, you know, we were watching it for an episode and a half, and it got to one of those points where it's like, I guess we have to find out what happens here. You know what's going to happen. It's annoying. Yeah. It's a terrible story. And quite frankly, they could have told all of those three episodes in one. Yeah. Easily.

18:29Mike Minogue:That's what Netflix do. They drag it out.

18:30Keyzie:Easily. Yeah. Two buzzies. I don't recommend. Out of five. And you basically know what's happening. You know what's going to happen. You go, he's a piece of crap. And it's terrible. Yeah Okay Alright Thanks very much Are you happy Keezy Could have done that all In one episode But no you had to Drag it out over three

18:51Mike Minogue:I don't know why you're Looking at me And yelling at me about it Last night fellas I didn't watch anything Because I was on a hot day With Mogi Oh yeah He was More on that later One of the best But this week For the rest of the weekend Over the weekend I'm going to be Supporting Someone who's very Near and dear to my heart Kirsty from Location Location Location She had a fall in the garden yesterday, and she's in hospital with an injured foot. She fell over. She had a fall. Oh, she had a fall because she's that old. You've got a crush on her, right? Yeah, I've got a crush on her.

19:26Keyzie:Now, coming up after 5 o 'clock, I gave away some vouchers at my Come Dine With Me. Oh, yes. And the fellas want to, you know, put it out there.

19:36Mike Minogue:I'm curious as to, like, can I actually cash in the voucher you gave me? Yeah. This is a bit of a joke.

19:41Keyzie:We can put it to the audience too, you know what I mean? What would they choose of all the vouchers that I gave out perhaps? Oh, that's a good one.

19:47Mike Minogue:100 % plus, fellas.

19:48Keyzie:I've been invited to a sleepover on Saturday night with a whole bunch of fellas. God, you're getting out and about, aren't you, Keezy? The hell does that mean? You're really putting yourself out there.

19:58Mike Minogue:Yeah. The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.

20:07Keyzie:Welcome back, you mess of backbones. Hope your Thursday's going along very nicely indeed. You're listening to The Big Show, incidentally, brought to you by Reburger.

20:14Mike Minogue:Seven good times and good food. Dine in or take away Reburger today.

20:19Keyzie:Reburger. Reburger. Reburger. Reburger. Reburger. Reburger.

20:31Keyzie:Yeah, good stuff.

20:34Mike Minogue:We can't let that throw the whole show off. No, I know.

20:37Keyzie:I was just enjoying it, that's all. It was really good. That's all. It was really good stuff. Now, listen, coming up on the show, of course, we had come dine with the fellas, hoity day edition. What a shit start to that. And I gave out various vouchers for people, and there's some questions that need to be asked, apparently.

20:55Mike Minogue:Well, because are they joke vouchers? You know what I mean? Was it a gag? Well, we'll get to it. We'll get to it. But they were definitely gags, but were they also true?

21:04Keyzie:Yes.

21:04Mike Minogue:Yeah, because I wouldn't mind cashing mine in.

21:06Keyzie:Yeah, yeah, totally. What was your one? I'll tell you the next one. Oh, we'll get to it. We'll get to it. Yeah, yeah. So that's coming up very shortly. Indeed, in the meantime, let's go to Metallica.

21:18Mike Minogue:Yeah. Also coming up later in the hour, your chance to win a brand new Emerson's hoodie. Oh, yeah. Get ready to call 0800-HODAKI. The HODAKI Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio HODAKI.

21:33Keyzie:Yes, indeed, Jimmy Eat World there on the Radio HODAKI. Big show this Thursday evening. The time is 13 minutes past five o 'clock. Fellas, as you'll be aware, and most of our listeners too, we've been doing a little thingy called Come Down with the Fjellas where we host a dinner at our own houses and all the fjellas and their partners come around and we enjoy a delicious meal and some great company. Yeah, man. As part of that, there's an entertainment element. And over at a haughty J's place where the theme was a late winter Christmas, we did a secret centre, or you did, Jase. You handled out a whole bunch of stuff Sort of prizes and things That were laying around the office here at Hoda Well stuff that was special to the fellas A tat that cost you nothing And you wrapped it nicely Thank you But also as part of that There was a voucher And it was completely random These vouchers were in there And beautifully handwritten Not by you of course By my wife's mother actually Yeah that's right Just another example of how you cheated.

22:35How you cheated the other day, Jase.

22:38Keyzie:Well, she's just very good at calligraphy there, Mogey, and it's like, go on then. Now, there's a selection of vouchers there, and sort of a debate began, and people started fighting over these vouchers. When the vouchers were invented by you, and you were allocating the services of the different people there without any knowledge by them, or approval by them, or without them ever saying that they would do any of the things that were written down on the vouchers. Yes. So there's sort of a question, and we'll get to it, about whether or not these are legitimate, and whether these vouchers are actually legal tender, because people are getting phone calls wanting to cash them in.

23:22Yeah. We should probably go through, Kesey, what are on these vouchers.

23:26Mike Minogue:Yeah, so for example, I ended up with a voucher for a spa and a sauna with Pug San. That's right. One spa and sauna with me, Pug San. That's right. And I will be cashing that in. That's my attitude. Now, Pug San knew nothing about that. Yeah. Nothing about it. I got one, I think in the end. Oh, I'll tell you what I ended up with. Your wife actually got this one, Keezy. She opened it first. She opened it first, yeah. And it was a night on the town with old Mogi. How good. Which would have been a bit weird in my eyes. My wife cashes in a voucher and then her and old Mogey just go and get steamed.

24:00I've never seen your wife look so happy. She was stoked.

24:03Keyzie:She was thrilled. She was absolutely into it. And why wouldn't you be? A night on the town with old Mogey. With old Mogey? God, you never know where you're going to end up, man. And as you found out last night, actually, when we went on our date. Now, at the end of it, I stole that off her because I was like, well, actually, I'd just quite like to take myself out for a solo night on the town.

24:21Mike Minogue:But you're going out anyway. No, I'm going out anyway. As was your right. As was your right. Well I just thought it was best for our relationship Kesey if I didn't take out your wife Fair? I don't know my relationship is pretty secure bro I'm chill bro There are a bunch of others As well A portrait Painted by my wife You're a very gifted artist So you've offered her services She knew nothing about this So my wife's got that voucher I better be worth something She wants a life size oil painting Yeah, nice. A tour of Keezy's wife's work. Yeah, behind the scenes. A historical walking tour of the city with Jizzbot.

25:03Mike Minogue:Yeah, who won that one, actually? I'm not sure who won that one. And a makeover, I think my wife did. And a makeover by Pugs' Mrs. She'll come over, have a look at what's in your wardrobe, bin a bunch of stuff and take you out to shop for new things. Yeah, she'll have you in a beret in no time. Yes. Now, all of these things were invented by Jase. Yeah. But some people actually like the gifts. Well, to be fair, Jace's wife has a voucher for one night on the hot pot with Old Keezy. That's right. Which I think is a great voucher.

25:31Keyzie:Yeah, I'd bloody be into that.

25:33Mike Minogue:Yeah.

25:34Keyzie:I mean, who wouldn't be? And did you mention the arts and crafts afternoon with my wife? Oh, yeah, that's right. It was arts and crafts afternoon with Woody J's wife. How good would that be?

25:42Mike Minogue:How good. So the question is, are we able to cash these in? 100%, man. How do we go about doing that? Do we give it to you and then you sort of stamp it? Yeah, because I'm assuming that you'd have to, for example, my wife would need to be paid. Because it's really easy for your wife to come have a hot pot with me. Yeah, totally. It's like 50 bucks. That's right.

26:04Keyzie:Seriously, fellas, it's over to you now. So basically what happens is you get into contact with the person whose voucher you won. Right, so my wife calls Mogie's wife and says,

26:15Mike Minogue:hey, the portrait. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

26:17Keyzie:When works best for you, what days, et cetera, et cetera. Okay. And then you sort of – I mean, I've done my part. Yeah, right, okay. So it's really just a case of –

26:27Mike Minogue:So I guess the question is, are we going to – because I'll honour the voucher for my services, which was having a hot pot. Yeah. 100%. That can be cashed in whenever.

26:35Keyzie:And my wife's looking forward to it.

26:36Mike Minogue:Yeah, well, she stole it off someone else. She stole it off me so that she could join me.

26:41Keyzie:Yeah, yeah. I'm a little bit worried about that relationship still because, of course, Kesey gave a six.

26:47Mike Minogue:Yeah, it was a joke, though. It was a jokey six. Well, it wasn't actually. It was a serious six. To be honest, it was probably more of a five.

26:57Mike Minogue:But, like, that was last. Yeah, well, I'm definitely going to use mine. Yeah, totally. Taking myself out for a night on the town with me. And why, wouldn't you?

27:06Keyzie:Yeah. And I'm going to use mine with Pugs's partner, a wardrobe makeover. Come through hoity J's and she can just chuck out all that old sort of secondhand tap, get me some new boots, all sorts of stuff. What would you vote for, New Zealand? 3483

27:22Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kesey Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki I think I'll have myself a beer Big Show The Radio Hauraki Big Show Name our beer Kesey's absolutely loving it, isn't he? Yeah, he does He loves a beer He's singing a few brewskis Yeah, getting ready for a big night All of a sudden he's all excited

27:47Keyzie:He's energised, isn't he?

27:49Mike Minogue:I'm fizzed up, fellas because we're giving away an Emerson's hoodie, the great blokes at Emerson. I shouldn't say blokes, actually. The great team at Emerson's.

27:57Keyzie:Yes.

27:57Mike Minogue:One of my favourite people at Emerson's, Old Jandals. Remember her?

28:00Keyzie:Yeah, I do, I do.

28:01Mike Minogue:She looked after us last time we were broadcasting down there. Great time. Great time. Big weekend, actually. It's happening again, too. The 2026 Dunedin Craft Beer and Food Festival. It is happening Friday, November 27th and Saturday, November 28th down in Dunedin at Forsyth Bar Stadium. If you're keen to go along, DunedinBearFestival.co.nz Musically, a lot of great acts performing Shapeshifter, Troy Kingy, Reb Fountain, Park Road And over 75 beer and food vendors

28:31Keyzie:How good man, how good Looking forward to getting down there again fellas But we've got a beer to name, don't we?

28:36Mike Minogue:We certainly do Emerson's has brewed up a tropical hazy pale ale Which is specifically for this event All you have to do is name it And you can get yourself a free Emerson's hoodie Plenty of chances Just listen for that cue to call.

28:49Keyzie:Yeah, totally. Let's go to the phone lines. G'day, Brian, you mad bastard. How's life? G'day, fellas. I'm good. Yeah, good stuff. What do you do for a crust, Brian? Oh, I work in sales. Oh, yeah. How do you go, man? Pretty average. Yeah, that's the one, man. You making target, Brian? Oh, yeah, enough to pay for some beers on a Friday. Yeah, that's the one, man. That's what you need, man. It can be hard, though, man. And, you know, sometimes you can be bothered and other times you can't be arsed. You know what I mean?

29:16Mike Minogue:A bit like Keasy on this show, isn't it? Yeah, exactly, man. Whoa! Shots fired. Shots fired.

29:22Keyzie:Oh, jeez. So tell me, Brian, do you have a name for us? I was thinking Three Honkers Hazy. Oh, Three Honkers Hazy.

29:31Mike Minogue:That's actually a really great name. That is a very good name. It rolls off the tongue there, Brian. You've got a knack for this stuff, man.

29:39Keyzie:Maybe you should move into advertising, Brian. Maybe I should. Have you thought about getting into sales, Brian?

29:46Mike Minogue:Yeah, or a job on the radio. Yeah, man. You should come work on Hoducky. Sounds like that Keezy guy's been taking the piss for far too long.

29:53Keyzie:You're better than that, Brian. You're better than that, man. Good stuff, mate. You've won yourself an Emerson's hoodie.

29:59Mike Minogue:Oh, wicked. Thanks very much. No worries. Thank you. You hold the line, Brian, and Pugs will hand-deliver it for you, all right? Thanks.

30:06Keyzie:No worries, mate. Three honkers hazy. That's pretty good.

30:09Mike Minogue:That's not bad, actually. Yeah, no, that's my favourite so far. Mind you, we've only had two names so far. What were the other ones? Can't remember.

30:14Keyzie:Yeah. Keezy on all fours. Looking over his bottled top. Yeah, something like that. With me. With me, Bezzy, Keezy.

30:22Mike Minogue:AKA another great name. Don't forget to need beerfestival.co.nz. It's going to be a massive weekend. The Big Show's going to be down there as well. So head along, get yourself a ticket. The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.

30:38Keyzie:Stone Temple Pilots here on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Thursday evening. The time is 5.38.

30:44Mike Minogue:Fellas, interesting situation for me this weekend. Been invited to a sleepover. Oh. Hot. Well, it's... Do you remember when I went on a staggy last year? Yeah, I do. And you guys called me and I don't remember the phone call. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, it was good stuff. That was interesting, that one, because you have previously pretended to be steamed. This is without a word of a lie. This is completely honest. Early doors, yes. You have pretended to be steamed and phone calls or whatever we've done sort of on air. And a few improvs and stuff. Fellas having a little laugh and all that sort of stuff.

31:19And when we called you that night for your staggy thingy and you jumped on the phone, you sounded exactly like that. So we thought that you were putting it on again. We did. And it took quite a long time to realise, oh, no, no, no. He is hammered. Yeah, yeah. And he sounds exactly like his impression of himself when he's hammered. Yeah.

31:38Mike Minogue:It was quite amazing. And the giveaway was that I swore a couple of times. Yeah, yeah. And then on the Monday. And not for the first time. No. On the Monday as well, Pugs was like, oh, that phone call was all G. And I was like, what phone call? And I was like, oh, my God, that's right. Yeah. So that staggy I went on. We should replay that. Nah.

31:57Keyzie:Actually, do we hit that in the files there, Pugsan?

32:01Mike Minogue:It's been deleted, guys. But a few of those fellas are having a get-together up here in Auckland because that was down south. Yeah. And I linked up with them and they were like, you should come to the sleepover, man. It's out in Clevedon. Yes. Oh, yes. Out in Clevedon out there. Oh, yeah. So it's quite far away. And so they were just like, just bring your sleeping bag. You know they've got the tagline out there? Because it's like Hamilton, the city of the future, that sort of stuff. No one can hear you scream in Clevedon. Oh. What's that about? I thought it was all about like strawberry picking and stuff out there.

32:38Mike Minogue:They have a really nice market, don't they?

32:39Keyzie:I'll tell you what they have a lot of in Cleveland, because that's my old hood. What's that, Jase? Just beyond Cleveland is Ooriri Point, where I used to live for a couple of years. Yeah. A lot of peacocks. A lot of peacocks in Cleveland. A lot of farm country. Yeah. A lot of bush.

32:57Mike Minogue:Yeah, yeah. I mean, it's fairly rural. So you mean like the birds, the peacocks?

33:01Keyzie:Yeah, there's thousands of them. Millions of them.

33:03Mike Minogue:Well, keep an eye out. Yeah, well, you should. Yeah, well, I will. Well go on then Just do it See if I can I will Keep an eye out for peacocks Anyway fellas The reason I bring it up is You know I've been told to bring my sleeping bag Something to sleep on So I've dusted off my camp stretcher I'm not even joking either It's the first time I've slept on it since I was in high school Is that where you sit outside or in the bush? No no no At his place At the fella's place there I just think so I've got something comfy to lie on My stretcher So it'll be late, and it's Saturday night there, and there's about 20 fellas going.

33:40Mike Minogue:Got a brisket on, apparently. Have we spoken about why? They're just having a few beers. The guy who lives there, his partner's away for the weekend. Oh, yeah. And so he was like, let's get the fellas around, and then he extended the invite to a few of the boys there at the Staggy. Yeah, right. So obviously I'm going to be going along with my sleeping bag there and my camp stretcher. And I was just like, I just haven't had a sleepover with fellas. 20 dudes. Yeah. Have you not? No, not since school, man. I haven't had a sleepover since school. Do you have to take anything? He probably will. Yeah.

34:14Mike Minogue:The hell is that supposed to be? I'd say so, from the sounds of it.

34:21Mike Minogue:Yeah, I do, Jase. Yeah, that was part of the deal. Right. The Hodaki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Kesey. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hodaki.

34:31Keyzie:Arctic Monkeys there on the Hodaki Big Show this Thursday. evening. The time is 5.45 and old Keezy's going for a bit of a sleepover this weekend with 20 fellas out in Clevedon.

34:43Mike Minogue:20 dudes, yeah.

34:44Keyzie:I'm thinking to myself something you could take. A couple of loaves of white bread for the sausage fest.

34:57Here's Daniel. I like this. Here's Daniel again. Before we come on here

35:01Mike Minogue:he's like, yeah, I've got something to suggest. And it was the ultimate zinger. We can just wrap it up there, man. No, we can't, man. You can pack it up and go home. Nah, nah. He is done, yeah. It's good stuff, Jase. And obviously some sauce and some musty. Yeah, don't double down on it. Of course, you've taken out your camp stretcher and your sleeping bag. I don't even know if you remember this, Keezy, but what you might want to do is you can actually zip together two separate sleeping bags so two people can fit in it. Yeah, that's great. I don't know why. Just floating the idea. Yeah, well, I'm not going to need that at the sleepover.

35:38Keyzie:I am worried about.

35:39Mike Minogue:Jase, you've done enough, man.

35:41Keyzie:At 11 p.m. Keezy. Picture this for me, would you, Mogi? Yeah. There's 19 other fellas there, right? And old Keezy's getting a bit sleepy. Well, Keezy's running around. He's got his Tony jacket on. Yeah, he's got his Tony jacket on. Nothing on underneath. It just nips all over the shop. Yes. and then he cracks open his little home, his little stretcher.

36:06Mike Minogue:I've got to build it first. It takes a while. That's what I mean.

36:10Keyzie:And he puts it, you know, in a little corner and he makes himself a little man nest.

36:16Mike Minogue:Yeah, a little man nest for old Keezy. I am also thinking of taking because one thing I've found is now that I'm in my 30s, whenever I sleep in a room like Magic Round, for example, or like you go on a stag do and there might be three other dudes in the room with your snoring, I'll take my eye mask and earplugs as well and your inhaler well obviously I'm not going to go to a sleepover without my SimbaCorp mogie but the issue is I only know like three of the guys going so there'll be 16 strangers and you know what I mean I'll be honest with you it sounds like hell on earth but having said that When I was your age, I used to do that sort of stuff all the time.

37:03Yeah, right. And then when you find yourself sleeping in a room with six or seven other people, everyone snoring and ripping ass and all that sort of thing, you think to yourself, Jesus God.

37:11Mike Minogue:This is awesome. What have I done? Oh, yeah, yeah, true. I'm going to be drafty. Then you get your loaf of white bread out.

37:25Mike Minogue:Sorry, Jay, it's just writing it down. Is it toast slice or sandwich slice?

37:29Keyzie:You've got to go toast, Keezy.

37:30Mike Minogue:Yeah, okay, cool. Do you guys like the killers? Yeah. Jase has genuinely lost the plot.

37:43Oh, God.

37:46Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki. Yes, indeed.

37:52Keyzie:Welcome back, you massive backbones. Hope your Thursday night's going off as we head into the end of the week. You're listening to the Big Show brought to you by Reburger.

38:02Mike Minogue:Crave with the street food, freshly made with old Reburger over there, eh, fellas? Yeah. Yeah, good stuff. Yeah, yeah. What's the dinner plan tonight for you, Mo? I feel like dinner tonight, like dinner tonight. I don't know. I don't know. It's always a surprise for me, fellas. It doesn't bother me. It doesn't preoccupy me at all. I don't need to know. It is what it is. Yeah.

38:22Keyzie:Now, I know you guys are going to give me a lot of chip about this. Don't say it, man. I can't handle it. This is true. This is true, my wife and I, because we were going to have chicken korma, right? Because my daughter's coming home again, and she loves chicken korma. But she's not coming home now, so we're like, oh, well, should we flag that to when she comes home? Yeah. And we'll just go and buy, you know, get something nice to eat. So I'm thinking, because there's a new store, a Reburger store in the CBD, right?

38:50Mike Minogue:Yeah, that's right. Key Street, there's one.

38:53Keyzie:Oh, that's quite far, though.

38:54Mike Minogue:Yeah, it is.

38:56Keyzie:So carry on there, Jase So I'm thinking Reburger Oh, really? Genuinely Hand on heart Your heart's on the other side, man Oh, is it?

39:07Mike Minogue:Yeah, it's there Is it really? It's lower as well, it's lower than that Oh, is it? Down there, that's it

39:11Keyzie:My groin?

39:12Mike Minogue:Yeah, that's where it is

39:14Keyzie:So that'll be me, what about Will they have snacks at the Battle of the Bands?

39:19Mike Minogue:All I know is it's free booze Yeah, you'll be sucking on a hot dog or something, won't you? Yeah, I'll be sucking on a hot dog. Last year there were hot dogs, like your Fritz wienery type situation, which I love. I love a spicy glizzy dog. You do. Get it down me. And I've already had some sushi. Oh, yes. So I've got a good lining, a good platform there. Yes. And I'm ready to just sort of build upon that, fellas. Yeah, good on you. Which I'm excited for.

39:44Keyzie:Well, you're ready to wash it all away, basically. Yeah. Does that sound right? I don't know. Okay. What does that mean? Get steam? Just waves of beer hitting your food wall. Hitting the shore, yeah. A tsunami of beer. Yeah, yeah.

39:57Mike Minogue:100%. Yeah, yeah. It's going to be great, though, fellas. Looking forward to tomorrow's show. Same. Can't wait. Do you like royal blood? Actually, I'll be honest with you, Keezy, yes. So do I, actually. Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do. Just do this all the way through. All right, stop. The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Kesey. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki. One simple question. One weekend of a lifetime. Would you rather?

40:27Keyzie:Yes, indeed, was or cars. Now, I understand, Mogi, of course, you've got tickets for the grand final. I do. Do you already have a sort of pre-set plan? because if it is the WAZ, it's going to be massive. Yeah. And I think you mentioned you don't want to go big the day before or whatever because you don't want to miss what could potentially be the greatest day in WAZ history because you're seedy. Yeah, well, this is the thing, hoity jizzbot. If I get over to the grand final weekend on a Saturday or even a Friday, I'm going to be so excited that I'm not going to be able to help myself and I'm going to get on the hammer.

41:05So I've got a flight. It lands at 1 p.m. on the Sunday before the game kicks off. Oh, okay. Almost impossible for me to bugger it up from there. Yes. But I have to do that. I have to recognise what's in my genes, what kind of DNA I've got. Yes. I cannot resist. I've never resisted a first-night fever, so just plan accordingly. Yeah, fair enough.

41:25Mike Minogue:I know it's in your genes. Yeah, I bet you do. A tiny pecker.

41:30Keyzie:That's not cool, man.

41:31Mike Minogue:Oh, sorry. Hey, let's go to the lines there, feelers.

41:33Keyzie:G'day, Mikey. you mad bastard. How's life? Yeah, good, fellas. Good on you, mate. Tell me, Mike, you had a good day, have you, mate? Oh, not bad, mate. Yeah, good on you. What do you do for a crust, Mike? I'm a chippy. Oh, a bad chippy. Oh, a chippy bad bone. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You busy, you chippies? It feels like there's a lot of work on at the moment.

41:54Mike Minogue:Oh, it depends who you ask, but I'm busy. Yeah, good on you, mate. Yeah, exactly, man. Exactly. Mike, cars or whars, man? Oh, whars all day. Yeah, boy. What would it mean to you, Mike, if the old Waz got up and won a grand final? What's the first? Are you taking the week off work, can I ask you? Yeah, of course, of course. What would it mean to me? I might even cry for the first time ever. I think so as well, man. Far out. It's a pretty big day if that happens. Huge day. 100%, Mike. Thanks so much for calling, mate. You're in the draw. You hold the line all right? All right. Love you, bye. Love you.

42:28Keyzie:Miss you. How do you say that name? Briney. I was going to say Briney. G'day, Briony. How's life?

42:35Mike Minogue:Yeah, it's good, thanks.

42:36Keyzie:Good on you, mate.

42:37Mike Minogue:How do you say that, though?

42:38Keyzie:Well, it was just the spelling of it. Well, it's a rare name. And I'm quite blind, Briony. You'll have to forgive me. Tell me, how's your day been, Briony? Yeah, it's been good. It's been good. Briony, can you tell me, were you the first born in your family, and is your dad's name Brian?

42:56Mike Minogue:No. My uncle's name is Brian. Whose is? I was not the first born. The uncle. The uncle's name is Brian, because oftentimes you'll find that you get, we thought I was going to have a son. I want to name him Brian, but I've got a daughter, so I'm going to call her Briony. That is not what happens.

43:09Keyzie:That happens all the time. It's not. I think that might be what happens.

43:13Mike Minogue:I think that's exactly what happened. Is that what happened to you, Briony? I think that's what happened, yes.

43:18Keyzie:Yeah, you'll catch it on. Tell me, Briony, what do you do for a crust?

43:23Mike Minogue:Oh, I'm a social worker. Oh, that is backbone.

43:26Keyzie:Massive backbone. That is backbone. That is bloody hard jack of that. Tell me, Briony, what are you going for? Waz or cars? Waz. Yeah. Yeah, I think so, mate. That's the one, mate. Are you going to take Brian with you? No. Who are you going to take, Briony?

43:43Mike Minogue:Look, I'm entering for my partner. Oh. What's his name? Brian. His name's Grant. Grant. Yeah, good stuff.

43:54Keyzie:He's a shocking bastard. All right, Briony, you're in the draw. Good luck. Awesome. Thank you. Thanks, mate.

43:59Mike Minogue:How good, man. God, it's exciting, isn't it? It's a full-blown weekend at the NRL Grand Final or a massive weekend at Bathurst. Mount Panorama there. You decide. Keep an ear out for the queue to call 0800-HODAKY. Look, there's no wrong answers, is there? If it's your passion, you can't go wrong either way. But if you're into the WARS, through Radio Hodeke, you get yourself and, you know, you and your mate, you go over to the Grand Final. The WARS are playing. Yeah. The WARS win their first ever title. Far out. And you've won the competition off the radio. How good is that? And everything's taken care of.

44:31Mike Minogue:Your flights, your transfers, your hotel, there's functions. There's a boat cruise the day before. You go to the Randwick races, have a massive blowout, ruin the second day.

44:39Keyzie:It's unbelievable. That could be the greatest day of your life. It could well be.

44:47Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Kesey. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.

44:53Keyzie:Yes, indeed. The Verve there on the Radio Hauraki Big Show this Thursday evening. our fellas, you'll be aware of the fact that old Hoody Jay doesn't smoke anymore. Yeah. Yeah. Sure. I mean, I vape. I vape. Yeah, you vape a lot. And I was thinking to myself, you know, and we've been here so many times. I know. I know. And I've been thinking to myself, oh, God, what a stupid thing for a grown man to be doing. You know what I mean? I agree. And I look at all the people out on the street and I go, God, it's a ridiculous habit. Mostly children. It is. It's mostly the kids. And it's like, what's a massively successful DJ, sort of icon of the country, of the city?

45:34Keyzie:What am I doing sucking on this stupid bloody thing? And I was thinking about, okay, well, I've got to think about ways to give this up. And I could have, of course, just give it up. You know, just stop. Well, you can't. But I can't. Exactly, Moggy. Now, my particular vape is tobacco flavoured.

45:52Mike Minogue:It's the closest to smoking. that I can get without smoking. Yeah.

45:56Keyzie:You know, and of course I'm aware of all the fact that, you know, there's lots of flavours out there. So there was one time, because there was only one shop that gives me the flavours that I want or has this particular vape replacement, right? And they had no replacements of tobacco. Oh, God. So I opted for a black tea. You know, I went, oh, black tea, that'll probably be a... So like an English breakfast almost. Well, yeah, just like... It's sort of like a rooibos. It's kind of bitter. Sort of like a green tea. Yeah. Like a jasmine, sort of jasmine tea. But the thing was. No, it's more of an Earl Grey.

46:32Keyzie:Guys, please. The thing was that I started, you know, sucking on this dude. I bet you did. On a dude.

46:42Mike Minogue:You've got to stop saying dude like that. Honestly. Sucking on your vape.

46:46Keyzie:And what I found is I didn't like it. It was too sharp. How did the dude feel about it? It just wasn't right. And as a consequence of that, I smoked less because I wasn't a fan of it. It was like, oh, it's not that great, actually.

47:04Mike Minogue:So where is that now, though?

47:06Keyzie:I've still got it as an emergency replacement. You bought a different one. Well, no, because then they came back a couple of days later, they had the one I liked. But how did you know that they had the one that you liked? Because I went back in there a couple of days later. Yeah, exactly, and asked for it, yeah.

47:20Mike Minogue:Do you know how you can make your other one taste better? Is get a milk-flavoured vape and a sugar-flavoured vape. Yeah, that's a good idea. And just mix them up. And have a big drag of the tea, a little one of the milk, a little one of the sugar. This is my point.

47:33Keyzie:What I've realised is what I need to do is get a flavour that I don't like, so that I smoke less and eventually go off it. Because there's a theory like when you're smoking, if you want to give up, just smoke like 100 in a row because you'll feel so nauseous and ill. And I have that same theory with a different flavour. and I got a different flavour today and it's foul. Yeah. And I think it's going to work. What is it? Feta. Cheese. Yeah, feta cheese. But you like feta cheese. But only in a pastry, not in a vape. Oh. You know what I'm saying? What about sprinkled over a beetroot salad? I don't like beetroot.

48:12Do you not like a beetroot? Beetroot's delicious. No, I don't. I hate it. Really?

48:15Keyzie:Well, why do you get a beetroot flavoured vape? Well, they don't have them, Keezy, obviously. Wake up.

48:20Mike Minogue:Whoa, whoa. The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.

48:33Keyzie:Well, there you go, you mad bastards. That's the big show done and dusted this Thursday. We chatted, as always, about a lot of stuff on the disclaimer. What's the clip today, Keezy? Before you get into that, Keezy, Jase, what was your favourite thing we chatted about today? I think Keezy his Uber driver weighing on the lawn

48:52Mike Minogue:that wasn't on the podcast outro no that was in the show oh you mean in the oh in the podcast outro

48:57Keyzie:oh look it's hard to pick yeah it is isn't it is that because you can't remember a single thing we said because that's the case for me yes

49:04Mike Minogue:Mogi talked about being sleepy maybe no that was at the start of the show was it yeah how about this fellas we've got a clip here it's called The Man and it comes out at 7.30 tonight get him get him get him Get a f***er, man. There's a lot of mental health issues in town, though, Jase.

49:22Keyzie:Look, I can't help it. I mean, I'm just me, man. I mean, I can't. I mean, if people want to call me a legend, who am I to disagree? That's true. There you go.

49:33Mike Minogue:It was just Jase.

49:34Keyzie:Well, I imagine... Being a legend. I imagine, Mogi, after your big date last night, quiet one for old Mogi tonight. Absolutely. Absolutely exhausted. I'll just go home. I'll just dwell on the memories, contemplate them. Yeah. Roll them around in my mind as if a lozenge in my mouth. Yes. Tongue in it.

49:55Mike Minogue:To be fair, you always bite your lozenges. I do. I crack straight through the bastards. I really want to get into the bath tonight. I've got some book to read. The bath or a bath? The bath. Oh, a bath. Yeah, I want to get into the bath tonight. I do. So, yeah, I won't be doing very much at all there. Fjellas. Yeah. I'll get well rested for tomorrow.

50:13Keyzie:So you'll be in the bath. Thinking about your hot date with Keezy. Whereas Keezy will be at a bar. I will be at a bar.

50:23Mike Minogue:Or no, judging a Battle of the Bands type setup. That's good, man. With free alcohol. I think I'll get a free hot dog as well. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Yeah, I will be a wee bit, you know, dusty. Go easy on Keezy. But you know me, I'll still be professional in that. You keep saying that. I've never seen the evidence of that. Same. Oh, yeah. Jase, what are you doing tonight, man?

50:45Keyzie:I'm just going to go home and hang out with my lovely wife. Good on you, man. Yeah. And that, actually, I think. Oh, no, I did that. Oh, when did we do that? Keezy, I think what we have to do moving forward is the first person we have to ask what they're doing is Jase. Yeah, you're right. I just want to crack on with it. Yeah, yeah, that probably makes sense, fellas. Yeah. Because I'm always, you know, I'm in that situation where I'm just tossing about, you know. Can you finish the show, please? Hey, now listen, check out the Instagram, check out the podcast. Until tomorrow! Goodbye. See you. Bye.
