0:00Jason Hoyte:The Hodaki Big Show. Thanks to crave-worthy street food. Freshly made with Reburger. Don't fight it. It's time to go up a size. This is the biggest, biggest, biggest, biggest, this is the biggest, our biggest show. The Hodaki Big Show. With Jason Hoyte, Mike Minogue and Keyzie.

0:20Mike Minogue:Oh, g'day you massive backbones. It is the 16th of December 2025 and you as always are listening to the Hodaki Big Show. brought to you by Reburger.

0:29Jason Hoyte:Crave-worthy street food, freshly made with Reburger. Ha, ha, ha. What would you like this year from me, Santa? Look, I'll be honest, there's just one thing on my mind. Ah, exciting. It's nice to know you're not greedy. Look, it's just got to be Reburger. Did you say Reburger? Maybe it is more than one thing. Um, if I'm, you know, if I'm getting handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and gourmet eats all at the same time. And you're sure that's all you want? Well, yeah, because it's...

1:10Mike Minogue:Yeah! I want Reburger for Christmas as well, fellas. Yeah, man.

1:14Jason Hoyte:Same, man.

1:15Mike Minogue:Hey, Moggy. Yes, babe. Nice to see you, man. Hey, nice to be here, brother. Yeah. It's a little bit rainy here today in the 09. I did hear you earlier. I sort of find this a bit odd about you and also Jace as well. I haven't seen it so much from you, Pugson. Hi. See how you feel about this. Wait, wait, just quickly. I'm lumped in with Jace on this one. Yeah. Absolutely. And I'll tell you what it is. It's when the weather's weathering and then it starts raining. Kate walked in and said, oh, it's really pissing down outside. And you said, yeah, it's weird, eh? And I'm just wondering what is weird about rain.

1:51because it happens all the time. You and Jase, you both freak out when it happens. Well, it's just weird because, like, yeah, Chris. Because it was sunny and now it's raining. That's right. That's usually how it goes.

2:03Mike Minogue:But it freaks me out, Mike. I know it does. It's because there's fluffy things up in the sky that start crying. I know. What's that? Like, that's not weird? Yeah. Also, the thing about that was I sort of was inside for a two-hour period. When I walked inside, it was beautiful and sunny. Yes. When I left, it was dark and rainy. Yeah. So is that weird? Yeah, I think so. Or is that weather? A bit of column A, a bit of column B, I think. Pug-san, speaking of weird. Hello. How are you guys? Speaking of column A and column B. Oh, I forgot about the cheese. Yeah, we're bringing that back. Yeah.

2:37Jason Hoyte:How are you doing today, though, man? You know what, man? I'm happy to be here with you, fellas. Grateful to see you both. And, God, we're really in crunch time, aren't we, eh? Oh, yeah. Jeez. Making it happen. Yeah. Like getting all the holiday stuff ready, you know?

2:48Mike Minogue:It's been busy. It has been very busy, Pugsun. Half of my brain is in departure lounge mode. The other half is in busy, busy content mode. Love that band, by the way. As it always is. Hey, Moggy, what's coming up on the show today, man?

3:03What's happening on the big show with old Moggy? An absolutely ginormous show today, fellas. is we're going to be discussing the Mogi and Pugsan breakfast show later on. It's come to our attention that we're going to be potentially the only ones that are still here, possibly Keezy and Jase gone. Next up, we're going to be talking about my new glasses. Mogi's glasses, yes or no? Tune in.

3:30Mike Minogue:Sounds good. Here's the darkness. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from 4 on Radio Hauraki. Blink-182 on the Hauraki Big Show. 14 minutes past four this Tuesday afternoon with Keezy Mogey and Pugsung, and it's time for...

3:43Jason Hoyte:The Big Pole.

3:50Doge. Fellas, the Big Pole today is Mogey's new glasses, yes or no? My eyesight has been failing me for probably two years now, but I've been in denial. The only person that I've really had to talk about is Jase. What do you do? Jizzbot. as we call him, and he's kind of in a denial as well. He's in a denial where he goes out and buys$1 ,002 pairs, but has never in his life seen an optometrist. So he's been a bad example. I went off and got fitted a couple of weeks ago, got the new frames, got tested. They put the lenses in. I picked them up on Sunday. You can now see it, I believe, Pugsun, on Instagram.

4:32You can go there and have a vote.

4:33Mike Minogue:And on Facebook as well? Yes. When I was going around trying the frames on, when I looked in the mirror, I recoiled. Wow. I recoiled, and it wasn't because I had the lens in and I was seeing myself clearly for the first time in two years. It was because I looked so old. Was it the glasses? This is the ultimate transformation. Well, yeah, I mean, if it was just my normal face, I see it every day, so yes, I do look old. But you see it blurry. You see it every day? But this is the thing. As I just said, I was just wearing the frames, not the lenses. Ah, right. So it's the fact that you've got clear lenses on.

5:08It's such a look. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, I hate them. My wife is telling me they're looking good, but I'm not sure I can trust her.

5:17Mike Minogue:I don't know. I feel like you should trust your wife. Yeah, we trust your wife. She's a pretty lovely person. You don't know her like I know her, man. Yeah, you're right. Okay, maybe she is a horrible person. Maybe you're right. Thanks, man. So are you quite, Moggy, are you a wee bit self-conscious in your new specs? I just don't like them. I don't like that it makes me well it's a sort of a physical incarnation of the fact that I am getting older and it's fine I guess my sight does my eyesight get massively better? Can I actually see clearly? Would you say it's life changing? It's a new lease on life certainly.

5:51The problem I've got is it makes me look old. So this is a binding referendum. If people say that they look terrible then I'm allowed to get rid of them. I've had a chat to the missus about this and she's agreed. So committed to the fact she thinks they look great and she believes so deeply that they look great that people will vote that they look cool, that they are a yes instead of a no.

6:12Mike Minogue:Right, well, you can go to the Haraki Big Show's Instagram where you can vote on the story there. You can also go to our Radio Haraki Facebook and vote there. Binding referendum, if everyone says keep the glasses, you will. I just need higher than, if it's higher than 90. Surely 50-50. No, no, no, no, no, 50-50. If it's higher than 50, you keep them. Question, though, if it ends up being lower than 50 and you get rid of them, how will you be doing that? Will you be doing the traditional method of just losing them? I think I should give them away or put them on trade me. Give them away on the show?

6:41Mike Minogue:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right. They're worth a bit. It is interesting, right, because you put the glasses on and you can now see better like a younger person. Yes. However, you look like an older person. That's right. And we were talking to our boss yesterday about it and he was saying, oh, his eyesight's completely shot. He said since he's got his glasses, his eyesight has gotten worse without them. But I don't think that's the case. I think you wear the glasses and your eyesight gets so much better that when you take the glasses off, you really notice how bad your eyesight is. Yeah, right. And that's your normal.

7:13But when you wear the glasses, it's like you're Superman. You can't see through things. You can just read small print.

7:19Mike Minogue:Yeah, right. Okay, no x-ray vision? Not yet. Yeah, okay. 3483 as well. Also, I've put it up as a still post.

7:28Jason Hoyte:So people can leave comments, like feedback on the Instagram and Facebook posts. So that we can read some of those out. I don't know if we need feedback. No, we do. Every comment and vote in the draw for a$50 three-dig year voucher.

7:41Mike Minogue:Sounds good, Pug-san. So does Jed. Are you going to be my girl? It's the Hauraki Big Show.

7:48Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.

7:54Mike Minogue:Radiohead on the Haraki Big Show. 26 minutes past four this Tuesday afternoon with Keezy Mogi and Pug San. And Mogi, yesterday a sad day for film enjoyers worldwide. Well, yeah, there was a whole lot of horrendous stuff that's been happening of late, but we won't dwell too much on it. Rather celebrate the life of Rob Reiner, who was a director and also an actor. Mainly the things that I've enjoyed him for is his directing, particularly through the 80s. He had one of the all-time great runs as a director. Some of my favourite films across comedy, very much an American filmmaker, aspirational feel-good sort of stuff that he created.

8:39The first was, and I'm not sure if this is the very first mockumentary, but he directed This Is Spinal Tap.

8:47Jason Hoyte:You can see the numbers all go to 11. 11, look, right across the board. 11, 11, 11. And most of the amps go up to 10. Exactly. Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder? Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not 10, one louder. Why don't you just make 10 louder and make 10 be the top number and make that a little louder?

9:13Jason Hoyte:These go to 11. Very, very funny film. Directed by Christopher Gaste, who went on to make Best in Show and a whole bunch of other great mockumentaries. A huge film for me was when I was 10 years old. Stand By Me came out. Sorry, Mogi, the Stand By Me clip's just glitched out. Have you got a - Why don't we just reenact it? Oh, yeah. You and me, you ready? Yeah, sure. I can't remember the lines. No, neither. Stand By Me is one of the great, great films, a coming-of-age film. It's based on the Stephen King novella of the same name, and it had a great cast in it. Will Wheaton, River Phoenix was in it, Corey Feldman, Jerry O 'Connell, Kiefer Sutherland, Richard Dreyfuss was in it as well.

9:53If you have not seen that film, watch it as soon as you possibly can. It's an absolute belter. So those two films were back to back, and then I think straight after that he made Misery. I'm your number one fan. There is nothing to worry about. You're going to be just fine. I'll take good care of you. I'm your number one fan. That of course is from another Stephen King novella It was a few years after In fact Stand By Me But it was It got the Academy Award for Kathy Bates It's about a writer who crashes his car And gets found By his number one fan Who ends up torturing him And keeping him captive Your Mrs Kesey Would absolutely love it

10:42Mike Minogue:Right, it's a kind of light hearted feel good Bit of house renovation Yeah, yeah Well she renovates one of his ankles off that's a nice moment with a sledgehammer that's some good chat I hope she's over capitalised so this is the run it goes this is Spinal Tap Stand By Me The Princess Bride that's an iconic movie my name is Inigo Montoya you killed my father prepare to die stop say that and then straight after that he makes a Billy Crystal Meg Ryan romantic comedy which smashed every single record and is still one of the all time greats of the genre when Harry met Sally.

11:19Jason Hoyte:Most women at one time or another have faked it. Well, they haven't faked it with me. How do you know? You don't think that I can tell the difference? No. Get out of here. No. Oh. Ooh. Oh, God. Oh. Yes! Yes! Oh!

11:46I'll have what she's having. I never really understood that bit. Then after that it was Misery, and then the next film after that that he made was A Few Good Men. Colonel Jessup, did you order the Code Red? You don't have to answer that question. I'll answer the question.

12:03Jason Hoyte:You want answers? I think I'm entitled. You want answers? I want the truth. You can't handle the truth. One of the all-time great directors. Bloody sad what happened to him. But if you get the opportunity, this is really just an extended go and watch these great movies. And, you know, it's also me saying to that guy out there who jumps on and says, Mogi hates everything that he ever watches. There was a brief period in the 80s where I liked movies. And Rob Reiner was around for that brief period and was a big reason for it. If you can get out there and watch This Is Spinal Tap, Stand By Me, The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, misery and a few good men you'll be doing bloody well with your films, a hell of a director, a great loss yeah, bloody sad day.

12:48Well there you go

12:48Mike Minogue:Hey coming up next on the Hauraki Big Show, your chance to win$100 worth of Reburger, so make sure you stay tuned.

12:55Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.

13:02Mike Minogue:Soundgarden on the Hauraki Big Show, 20 minutes to 5 this Tuesday afternoon with Keezy Mogi and Pugsana, and it is now time for the Reburger Re-Gift. It goes off, man. It does go off, Mogi. That's a tune. So the idea behind this is you ring up, we play you one of our sick Reburger stings, you do your best imitation of it, and if you're, well, let's be honest, you're going to get a$100 Reburger voucher. Well, no. So far, it's been 100%. So far it has, but, you know, so far everyone's given it their all. Yeah. I don't want anyone coming on. Just like Parks, he's over there giving it his all. I don't want anyone half-assing it.

13:42Mike Minogue:All right, let's go to the first person. G'day, Bex. How are you going? Yeah, good, thank you. That's good, Bex. What do you do for a crust, Bex?

13:52Jason Hoyte:I help people with plumbing and tapware when they're building a new house. Oh, that way.

13:57Mike Minogue:Plumbing and tapware. Plumbing and tapware, like faucets and that.

14:02Jason Hoyte:That's right, yeah, showers, taps, you know, all the pretty things in a home.

14:05Mike Minogue:Yeah. Nice, man. Those are all my favourite things. Hey, Bex, are you familiar with Reburger and our stings that we play?

14:13Jason Hoyte:Yes. Yeah, I am. Yeah, I listened to it yesterday.

14:15Mike Minogue:Yeah, bloody good. All right, so here's how it's going to work, Bex. Pugs is going to play one of the stings. You just have to listen to it and then imitate it, and then if you do a good job, you get$100 worth of Reburger. Pugs, take it away, please.

14:28Jason Hoyte:Yeah.

14:30Mike Minogue:Bex? Yeah. Yeah, nailed it. Yeah, it was good. Perfect. Absolutely nailed it. A little more echo would have been nice, but that's okay. Reverb. Reverber. A little bit of reverber would have been nice. But Bex, you've got yourself$100 worth of Reburger, mate.

14:46Jason Hoyte:Yeah, thank you. Amazing. No worries. I'll do Christmas break.

14:50Mike Minogue:Yeah, mate. You rip it. Get stuck in. Hold the line. An old Dilly there will help sort you out. G'day, Tom. How you going? Yeah, good, guys. How you going? Yeah, not too bad, Tom. Hey, Tom, just quickly, man. I was just wondering, what do you do for a crust?

15:02Jason Hoyte:I'm a chippy, mate. I could do it with a chippy.

15:07Mike Minogue:No, Pugs, a chippy is not the potato chippy. Hey, Tom, you familiar with how the game works, man? Yeah, man, I had a listen yesterday. It was bloody good. Yeah, right. Okay, Pugs, play the next sting. Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum. Take it away, Tom. Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum. Nailed it. Absolutely nailed it. Well done, Tom. You've got yourself$100 worth of Reeburger, mate. Cheers, boys. Thanks very much. All right. No worries, Tom. You're a great New Zealander. You hold the line there, and Dilly will help sort you out. All right, lucky last. G'day, Patrick. How you going, man?

15:41Mike Minogue:Yeah, good. Thanks for your job, Keezy. Yeah, bloody good, mate. What do you do for a crust? I'm a chippy as well. Yeah. Backbone. Backbone. A lot of chippies getting about. Do you know that other fella that rang up, man? Jake? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They chippy together, man. All right. Patrick, you are the lucky last, mate. Pugs, hit him with the sting.

16:10Mike Minogue:All right, Patrick, let's hear it, mate.

16:19Mike Minogue:Keep nomming, keep nomming. Come on, man.

16:24Mike Minogue:Absolutely.

16:28Mike Minogue:This might be the stupidest thing we've ever done on the radio, but for some reason it cracks me up. It's got radio prizes written all over it, man. Pugs. Hello. Oh, you're there. That's right. Sorry, I'm right here, man. Yeah, sorry. Well done, Patrick, mate. $100 worth of Reeburger coming your way, brother. Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum. Yeah. Get on you, Patrick. You hold the line. Big Dilly will sort you out. A great new competition, and we'll be doing it again on tomorrow's big show. And probably all next year. And probably all next year, four times a show. I'm going to have to make some new stings at some point.

16:59Mike Minogue:Yeah, you'll have to get off your ass and do that, Pugs. In the meantime, Guns N' Roses, welcome to the jungle. Yes, please.

17:04Jason Hoyte:The Horaki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Horaki.

17:10Mike Minogue:It is The Killers on the Horaki Big Show. Eight minutes to five o 'clock this Tuesday afternoon with Keezy, Mogi and Pug-san. Let's chalk TV. Yeah, man. What's on the telly with Mike Minogue?

17:26Cheers. Yes. Yes. Fellas. Off the back of Rob Ryan's passing, let's put it like that, I watched a few good men last night. What were they up to? Sickos. Fellas. Starry, pretty great cast, you've got to say. Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, Jack Nicholson, Kevin Pollack, Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon, and a guy called James Marshall, who I really like as well. Great cast. It's all about a couple. It's set in the Navy. Well, a Marine is killed when he is given what's known as a code red because he's a bit of a narc and a softy. And the Marines are these guys. Beat him up, essentially, and he dies. It's not good, Pugs.

18:18It's not good, mate. That's terrible. It's shocking. Sounds like a few bad news. You're a shocking bastard. And Tom Cruise is reluctantly given the job to defend these guys that have been charged with the murder. Very famous film. Jack Nicholson plays a colonel. You will know that. We played it a little bit earlier. You Can't Handle the Truth speech. It is just a magnificent drama. Well acted. Great script. Written by Aaron Sorkin who also wrote The West Wing and a whole bunch of other films. I highly recommend 4.8 Buzzies.

18:57Jason Hoyte:Shivers. Wow. That's up there. 4.8. Holy moly. It's right up there. Yeah, it's a top 30 film all time for me. I'd say maybe top 20.

19:04Mike Minogue:You did text us last night quite late saying, if you can swing it, fellas, maybe watch A Few Good Men. Yeah, well, put it this way. I stayed up until 20 to 11 to watch it. Wow. That's not like me, fellas. That's not like me. That's like 4 a.m. in Mogi time. It really is. so yeah if you get a chance to watch it I cannot recommend highly enough Would you recommend my wife watch it? Yes I would It's just great drama It's great drama You are watching some of the best actors of all time at work Tom Cruise who's I don't know maybe he's 27 or something or 28-ish is just brilliant You just watch it going this guy is an absolute film star Jack Nicholson is an absolute weapon in this role He won Best Supporting Actor for that performance.

19:50It's just across the board brilliant. Brilliant writing, brilliant directing. The cinematography is out the gate. Robert Richardson did that, who does all of Quentin Tarantino's films. It is, yeah, it's just phenomenal.

20:03Mike Minogue:I'll add it to the list of things we might watch. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Let me know. I didn't watch anything worth noting last night. I'll let you go, man.

20:10Jason Hoyte:Oh, thank you, Chris. I've been getting into a show lately called I Love LA, which is on Neon, and it's written and starring a wahena by the name of Rachel Sennett. Oh, yeah. And I used to follow her a long time ago on Twitter. She's very funny and now she's finally got the show. It's been like kind of a big break, I guess. She's been in a few things, but this is her big thing. And she's also one of my celebrity crushes. Great show. It's sort of like one of those fun light watches, like you really can't give it too much. It's basically about four best mates that have got back together as a friend group in L.A.

20:43Jason Hoyte:they're all pursuing that LA lifestyle, respective careers. Some of them are doing the influencer thing. It's very funny and kind of takes the piss out of that whole side of society in terms of being in LA. There's a stylist, there's a fashion girly influencer, and then there's another one that's an agent for somebody or a manager. Yeah, right. And it's just good light fun watching. Some of the writing, pretty inconsistent, but the jokes are good. They're right up my alley. Yeah, really PC. I'd probably give it a super woke. I'd probably give it like a... Like there's no real jokes. I'd give it like a 3.2.

21:20Jason Hoyte:Wow. That's a bit better than a recommend.

21:23Mike Minogue:That's good stuff, Dan. Do you want to know what I actually watched last night? Go on. We started watching Location, Location, Location, the UK one. We met the two couples looking for houses. First home buyers in the UK both got a max budget of£450 ,000. and then we had to pause it and plan what we were doing over the Christmas break in Christchurch and then my wife went to bed. Yeah, that's a one, man. That's living, man. That's married life. I've met the people on the show and I know that they want to buy a house and then we went to bed. Yeah, good. How did you sleep, man? I give that 4.9 buzzies out of 5.

21:54Mike Minogue:One better than a few good men. Hey, coming up after 5, another top 5 today, Mogey. I believe it is the top 5 movies of 2025 that we have each watched. So make sure you stick around.

22:05Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show with Jase, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.

22:12Mike Minogue:Oh, g'day, you massive backbones. Welcome along to the Hauraki Big Show for the 16th of December 2025, which, of course, is brought to you by Reburger.

22:20Jason Hoyte:Serving good times and good food. Dine in or take away Reburger today.

22:35Mike Minogue:Who? Pugs. Hi. Who is that eating into the microphone?

22:39Jason Hoyte:Because it sounds terrible. So you know how usually Mogey will bring in some desiccated chicken or something? Yes. I just hit record one day when he was chowing down, sort of between the breaks, and then I, you know. Yeah, that's the noise I make. That is very similar to the noise burger.

22:57Mike Minogue:That's good stuff, man. Makes me want to go and have some re-burger. Some desiccated chicken. Hey, now, fellas, coming up next, earlier today, Kate from the office here at Radio Horeki, who is very much the heart and soul of the Horeki team, she put together a secret Santa. However, it was sustainable secret Santa. Now, the limit was a value of$20. Nice and easy, and I'm sure a lot of offices are doing secret Santa as well around this time of year. However, sustainable secret Santa is bring something in from your home. Don't just go and buy some cheap garbage that you're never going to use again.

23:26Mike Minogue:Like a joke. Bring something in from your house for a person that you think they would like to the value of$20. Was it good or was it terrible? We will find out after a couple of songs because my gut feeling is all the presents are going to be shithouse.

23:40Jason Hoyte:I took notes as people were opening them this morning because I was there as they were doing it. People were stoked, I bet. And I was just taking notes of who got what. Yeah, right. Right, okay.

23:50Mike Minogue:So Pugs has taken notes. We haven't opened ours yet, Moggy, so we'll be doing that very next. Bloody excited. Very next or only a bit next? Very next on the Hauraki Big Show. In the meantime, it is She Hard. Some chillies up next. How good!

24:07Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki. Red hot!

24:16Mike Minogue:Chili peppers on the Hauraki Big Show. So 14 minutes past five this Tuesday afternoon with Keezy Mogey and Pug San. Hoity J is on holiday because he's kept a week of leave up his sleeve and then took it off and left us all for dead. And it makes me sick. Hey, but it's time for Secret Santa Chat. Yeah. So excited. We haven't got enough Christmas chat on here. You want more Christmas chat? More Christmas chat, more Christmas music. Okay, can do. The reason we're doing a Secret Santa Chat is because Kate in the office, She had the idea to do a sustainable secret Santa at Hauraki this year. Doosh, doosh, doosh, doosh, doosh.

24:50Mike Minogue:This morning everyone gave and received their gifts, except for myself and Moggy. We've got ours here still. And the idea behind sustainable secret Santa is it's something to the value of$20 or less, and it's something from your house. You don't purchase anything. Geez, I missed the memo on that because I've brought in some prizes, I mean some gifts that were worth a substantial amount. I made a point of telling you the rules of it last night. Substantial.

25:15Jason Hoyte:I will be reading the person who got your gift.

25:18Mike Minogue:Yeah, so Pugs has written down every single gift and who got what. So Pugs, feel free to walk us through it and then Mogi and I will open ours.

25:24Jason Hoyte:There's a few, so I'm going to rattle through them. We're starting with Ruda from The Breakfast Show. Jeremy Pickford, okay. Yes, he got a Bono biography and a Frontier Touring poster book. Poster book is a good prize. Anything Bono related is shit. He also got a bonus gift because somebody screwed up their gift and he ended up with an Eels jumper.

25:45Mike Minogue:An Eels jumper.

25:46Jason Hoyte:Oh, really? The Parramatta Eels? Yeah. That would have come from Isaac in the office. Thank you, that's right. Huge Eels fan. All right. Next one, Jeremy Wells from The Breakfast Show. He got incense, a hacky sack, the infinite in and it, which is like some philosophical book, sporting records book, and then a Benson and Hedges book. Okay, all of those are from Big Sandy's. That's it. Our day show host that reeks of beer. Yes. Kate, she got a Dave Grohl autobiography and then she got a t-shirt that said smoking blunts, swooping sea words. That's funny. Is that from you? I had a picture of a bird with a J on it.

26:19Jason Hoyte:Is that from you? That is not from me. That's from Big Dilly. Okay, nice. Isaac. He got vodka, tequila and fireball. Yeah, right. That's good. Like 340 ounces. No, no, no. He got like a small vodka and then a very small tequila and a very small fireball. Okay, cool. That's good. Those are from me. You know he's going to use that. That's great. Did you just have that at home?

26:41Mike Minogue:Yeah, I just went through the liquor cabinet trying to find something that he'd be into. You're an animal, aren't you? And I had three small bottles of random stuff. Great.

26:47Jason Hoyte:Pugs, that's me. I got a bottle of Rabbit Ranch Pinot Noir 2023. Very nice. Yeah, and that is from Ruta. Nice. So thanks, Ruta. Zoe. That's actually at 25, so he's done your solid beer. Zoe, Studio B on breakfast. She got an old-ass vacuum cleaner and an Apple speaker. She doesn't know if either of them work. A broken vacuum in an apple spank? An old, broken, dusty, musty vacuum. The vacuum works. Yeah, it's held together with duct tape. Oh, sweet. But yeah, that was lucky because if it wasn't for the fact that this green secret Santa came along, that would have ended up in the dump. And that would have been shocking.

27:28So, Moggy, you gave her an old vacuum cleaner. An old vacuum cleaner. It's a shame that it went to a woman because obviously it becomes an assumption that I'm sexist. But it would have been sexist for me not to give it to her. That's sexist. Right, I've got to rattle through these.

27:40Jason Hoyte:Dilly ended up with a Black Caps tee and a 2026 Gratitude Diary. That's good. And that's from Kate. Hayley got a four-pack of Roma tomatoes, Toy Story socks, a Pete and Baz t-shirt, they're British wrappers, and then peanut butter. See, how random is this? She apparently likes putting tomatoes and peanut butter on toast, so it is personal. Right, that's thoughtful. But weird. Todd, our boss, got an old-school German beer mug, which I actually thought was very cool. That is cool, I saw it out there. And then Prebs got a Pearl Jam trucker cap.

28:08Mike Minogue:Oh, yes. Okay, sick. And he got that from Hayley. And those are all left over from people's houses, which is pretty cool. I guess so, yeah. So it's not, I mean, it's as good as anything that you would get in a normal Secret Santa, except you haven't gone out and bought more shit. It's just shit that exists around your house. That's right. Because let's be honest, all Secret Santa is just garbage. Usually it is just cheap garbage. What have you got there, Moggy? We're going to open yours up, mate. Oh, we're doing it now. Well, yeah, I think so, man. I mean, I know what I'm getting. What I'm getting is it feels like a book, I'm going to be honest with you.

28:35Oh, okay, yeah, sure. Has it come from Pugs? I haven't heard you. It is Surrender, 40 songs, Our Story by Bono.

28:49Mike Minogue:As you win it on Bono. So that's really good because that means now that mum is getting this for Secret Santa this year. So I can just read that as a straight re-gift. That's cost me nothing. And there's no way anybody paid 20 bucks for that. You were going so in on Bono before. Oh, Bono sucks. I mean, I do hate him. Who did that come from?

29:15Jason Hoyte:I don't know. You don't know? I mean, I think it's probably from the person that got it. I think he got re-gifted from the other person. Oh, that's right, because I think it was a shortage of gifts. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So not only, well, here's the thing, I don't even get a gift.

29:27Mike Minogue:Well, that is your gift. I get this, but it's a re-gift as opposed to a gift. Well, it's still a gift. Mogi, you gave away a broken vacuum. Exactly. That's why I feel zero guilt. Zero guilt. Let's go, Keezy. What do you got there, man? I'm opening mine. Here we go. Send us your secret Santa gifts on 3483, by the way. What did you get? Oh, wow. A cool hat. Ah, cool hat. Okay, this hat reeks of pugs, son. Yeah, that's not a cool hat. That's a Hawaii hat. And it absolutely reeks of pugs. Okay, I also got... I don't like that you said those things one after the other. I've got four packets of Magi onion soup.

29:58Mike Minogue:Just check the expiry date on those. Okay, and they all expired at the beginning of this year. Yeah, good. Don't offload your shit to me. Pet air drops Half use For your pet Which is You got a pet I don't have a pet Yeah sweet Okay cool Some pink Kids glasses And an eye mask For sleeping in You wear eye masks

30:19Jason Hoyte:When you sleep And it's got a picture Of closed eyes on it

30:22Mike Minogue:Yeah

30:22Jason Hoyte:So that people know That you're sleeping We gotta get a photo Of that for socials Brother You look sick Well no We'll put it all on him And I'll get a photo And is there any more Or is that it I think that's it That's it Yeah nice There you go mate Hey Keezy Well done Pug Son Merry Christmas, man. Yeah, cool. This sucks. You're welcome. The Hodaaki Big Show with Jace, Mike, and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hodaaki.

30:44Mike Minogue:Kings of Leon on The Hodaaki Big Show. 27 minutes past five this Tuesday afternoon with Keezy, Mogi, and Pugsan, and it's time now for Mogi's Top Fives. Gets me every time, mate. That's tuned, man. It is a huge tune. Good stuff. Yeah, so this week we're doing Top Fives. Yesterday we did TV shows. Today it's movies. Now, these are the top five movies that you have watched this year. That I have watched this year. You want them to be this year movies if you can manage it, but oftentimes I'll watch movies that went to the Academy Awards this year but were released the year before, you know what I mean?

31:17Yeah. So that's kind of what happens. Now, I've had a bunch of films that I've started watching, don't necessarily hate, but I just haven't finished. Right. For example, F1 starring Brad Pitt, I'm going to finish that tonight. Cool. Superman, the Superman movie. Oh, true. I was watching that, got it halfway through it, and then I just sort of forgot about it. Happy Gilmore 2, similar thing. It's fine. Not interested enough to push play on it to finish it again. Oppenheimer as well, which I was really enjoying. Just haven't got back to it. Right. Also, things I've turned off. The Thursday Murder Club.

31:47Your wife.

31:52Havoc, which is, what's his name there? What's that? What's his name there? Havoc is the film, and it's Tom Hardy. Oh, yeah. The guy that directed The Raid, The Raid movies. I love The Raid. Yeah, and Havoc is terrible. Nonna's starring... Vince Vaughn. Vince Vaughn, absolute garbage. Jay Kelly with George Clooney, unwatchable, and Killers of the Flower Moon from Scorsese, which sucked. So here's my...

32:15Jason Hoyte:That's out of the gate, bro. Here's my top five. Right. A Complete Unknown, which I watched this year, which was the Bob Dylan remake thingy. Oh, Timothee Chalamet. Chalamet Ding Dong. I really enjoyed that. Yeah, I really enjoyed that too. Number four was The Apprentice, which is about Donald Trump back in the day, which I watched on a plane back from Europe. You simply must. Is that on Netflix, I think? I don't know. I watched it on a plane. So if you're on a plane, it's on there. Number three was We Were Dangerous. It's a Kiwi movie. It's about girls that are bad misbehavours that get put on an island, a Catholic-run sort of island to be better sort of thing.

32:55Remitiwi artists stars in it. I really enjoyed that. Watched it a couple of months ago. Better Man, which was the, this is number two.

33:03Mike Minogue:Oh, the Robbie Williams. The Robbie Williams thing, which I watched on a plane. I think we were going over to Magic Round. Oh, yes. And I absolutely loved it. It might have been that I was half pissed and I was 15 ,000 feet in the air. I don't know. Well, can I just say. Or 30 ,000 feet. The fact that you didn't like, for example, Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon, but your number two movie of the year was a monkey movie about Robbie Williams. Yes. Interesting, isn't it? It is interesting. It's 90 minutes long, so it's an instant three stars from me. Number one. Do you want a drum roll? Give us a drum roll.

33:33Now, I'm not even entirely sure that I watched it this year, but I'm quietly confident.

33:37Jason Hoyte:Okay, here we go. Coming in at number one. Alex Garland directed Warfare. Oh, you guys interviewed the actors. Thank you. I completely forgot about that. That movie absolutely ripped. That movie ruled. You and I went and saw that, Pugs-Arm, didn't we? We did. We did that together and then we interviewed the director and then we interviewed all the actors. We interviewed the cast as well. That was the biggest interview I've ever done. Yeah, it was a good one. And the movie blew my buzzies off. One of the least glorifying war films I've seen. Yeah, absolutely. One of the best war films of all time.

34:10So that's my number one. Absolutely my number one. I also saw Sinners, that vampire film, which I loathed. The Rule of Jenny Penn. I love that movie. A real pain, which got an Academy Award for the main actor there. Kieran Culkin. Terrible. I love that movie. Poor Things, The Smashing Machine, Heart Eyes, and Tron. I loved all the heart eyes.

34:31Jason Hoyte:We went into Heart Eyes. We went into Heart Eyes, yeah, yeah, yeah, which was made in New Zealand. So there's my list. There's me number one. And next up, you guys are going to give yours.

34:37Mike Minogue:Yeah, I think we will do our lists next, Pug-san. Sounds good, man. I'm hanging out for it, man. Also coming up next, another Best of the Big Show moment, this time from December 2022.

34:49Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike, and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at 4 on Radio Hauraki.

34:56Mike Minogue:on the Hauraki Big Show. It is Tuesday afternoon with Keezy, Mogey and old Pugsun and it's time to wet our whistles and indulge in ourselves. We are talking a best of the Big Show moment from 2022.

35:07Jason Hoyte:Right, Pugsun? That's it. And, you know, given the time of year being Christmas, we just had our Christmas party kind of last Friday. We were at Chasing the Fox. That was sort of our Christmas shinny for the Big Show, I guess you could say. But this one is from a Christmas party we did three years ago where Keezy, you had a real, Real wild one, man. Oh, my God. Why are we dragging this one up?

35:29Mike Minogue:All right, let me hear it. Oh, yeah, how did the Christmas party go? Yeah, good. Oh, yeah. Dressed like a clown. I had a few, but not too many because I had a big weekend of getting outdoors. Dressed like a clown. Well, it was circus-themed, wasn't it? Oh! Oh, right. I thought that was just another one of yours. Yeah, right. Yeah, yeah. That's not how I dress. Well. I had suspenders and a big red nose. Variation on a theme. Yeah, yeah. Right. So that was Friday. Then I wanted to take it easy. This is Saturday, straight outdoors first thing in the morning. Oh, yeah. Bit of shooting, bit of fishing.

35:58Mike Minogue:Nah, not shooting. Nah, not hunting. I'm not really into hunting. Fishing. Yeah. No, no, no, no, no. I wasn't fishing. Nah, I don't know how to fish. Nah, nah. Yeah, but, you know. Just a bit of mushy gathering. Oh, you go and get some foraging. Yeah, some psychedelics there and just a bit of microdosing. Oh, you know, it was competitive sports. You know how it is. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Beating your mates. Cage fighting. Off. Nah, I was playing golf Come on Nah, yeah, I played golf With my father-in-law How did that go? Oh, she was all go, fellas Don't you worry about that Couple of beers Oh, you're skin hammered Did you get a can of hole, did you?

36:39Nah, well, just because I'd already drank the night before Oh, yeah Because you were saying off air that you usually get a can of hole Oh, yeah Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, back in the day. Did you get blazed?

36:53Mike Minogue:Yeah. Oh, oi. Nah, I didn't. Had some scrogging, though. Oh, yeah. Hardcore, man. Hardcore. Hey, but after that. And what happened, though? Did you win? Nah, I lost. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That sounds about right. Played terrible, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. While you were steamed. Yeah, yeah. Nah, nah, I was sober. But after, though, went to a gig. Oh! Gigging. You fellas like Gigging. Yeah, yeah, rock and roll. And the moshy there. Oh, yeah, dude, dude. Oh, the old shots, few shots, was it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Did you get the boys together, did you? Yeah, the boys. Nah. Now it's sober. Good fellas, good fellas.

37:34Pretty good.

37:35Mike Minogue:Nah, it drove everyone. Yeah, what geek was it? Ah, Billy Joel.

37:45Mike Minogue:So good. You know, uptown girl. It was like a joke, did you? was like chuck camps with the very evidence did you nah nah I really wanted to go

37:57but hey

37:58Mike Minogue:there was a fight oh did you go with all the boys and that did you oh yeah my partner and her mum but there was a fight though oh yeah good stuff good stuff good on you mate all those middle aged

38:16Jason Hoyte:men yeah yeah I didn't get

38:18Mike Minogue:involved I didn't get involved. There's a couple of old guys, but it's just a misunderstanding. It's more of an argument, really.

38:28But, uh...

38:29Mike Minogue:Hell of a weekend, though, fellas. You know what I mean? Far out, man. Absolutely, man. It's amazing looking back now, like, it's only been a few years, but I think about how I used to be and far out. You used to be an animal. Like, out of control. It makes me tired. Mad dog. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Far out. Yeah. Jeez. Billy Joel, eh? The thing about that is, Keezy, is you still bring that concert up probably once a week on average. Well, it's the greatest concert I've ever been to in my life. Yeah. I've only been to two. Do you want to know who the other one was? Yes, please. Ronan Keating.

39:04Jason Hoyte:The Horaki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Horaki.

39:10Mike Minogue:The Strokes on the Horaki Big Show, Tuesday evening with Keezy Mogi and Pug San, and it's time for Mogi's Top Fives. Do do do. Today we. Do do do. Do do do. Today. It's a sting. We're tweaking it. Today. Yeah. We are doing the top five movies. Mogi's already done his. Yes. If you missed them. Listen to the Horeaki Big Show podcast today. Full show. 7.30. That's when it comes out. Now it's time for mine and then Pugsans. Top five movies of 2025. These are movies that we watched in 2025. Number five for me. Netflix. Richard Jewell. Which is recommended by you and Jason Hoyt. true story about a security guard in America who saves everyone from a terrorist attack and then the media kind of turns on him.

39:52Directed by Clint Eastwood.

39:53Mike Minogue:Great movie. I've really enjoyed it. Paul Houser stars. Okay. Number four. Good Will Hunting. Good Will Hunting. First time I watched it was this year and I enjoyed it. I didn't love it. Right. I was ready to love it. Right. But this is your top five of this year. He doesn't watch many films though. 100 % I don't. He doesn't watch I genuinely don't. If he's watched five, I'll be shocked. Number three, Titanic. James Cameron directed Titanic. First time I've seen that? Nah, I've seen that quite a few times. My wife hadn't watched it since she was like a teenager. Yeah, right. Watched it again. Holy shit, it still holds up, especially with the action scenes, the latter half with all the water rushing in everywhere.

40:33Mike Minogue:Yeah. All real effects, practical effects. It's actually terrifying. Brilliant. Terrifying. Second best movie I watched actually came out this year, One Battle After Another. I went and watched it with Pug San and the rest of the crew from The Office here I didn't enjoy the first half an hour I was ready to enjoy it and I was like oh this is fine and then the last two hours of that movie really I loved it good action, entertaining and the number one movie for 2025 for me

41:02Mike Minogue:Russell Crowe's A Beautiful Mind I watched it a month ago for the first time ever, you guys recommended it I still haven't watched it And honestly, the best movie I've watched in ages. And I can't believe I hadn't watched it until now. So there you go. Would I like it? I think you'd like it. Yeah, right.

41:18Jason Hoyte:Okay, fellas. Directed by Ron Howard, won heaps of Academy Awards. Really, really, really good. Okay. All right. Love it. Thanks, fellas. My top five for 2025. Starting off at number five, I literally talked about this yesterday, The Fellowship of the Ring, Lord of the Rings. Oh, yes. You know, I kind of rediscovered my love for those movies after I learned more about how they were made and the story behind them. and I just think that's just a feat in filmmaking that I should not be ignoring. Well, you're welcome, Pugs. Of course, I worked on the Lord of the Rings films behind the scenes. I put in a lot of work.

41:45They didn't mention you in the podcast. They worked a lot. Well, the way it would work is... Well, we're not allowed to talk about podcasts that we do outside of NZME, so of course I was banned from participating.

41:55Mike Minogue:The way it works, though, is he was telling me off air, he was saying that he kind of would say a few things to Peter Jackson, and then Peter Jackson would sort of tell the rest of the crew. Yeah. And then that's how it would work. You were sort of in his ear. And I'd make his coffee in that. Oh, that's lovely, man.

42:08Jason Hoyte:You're so lovely. Right, number four. Dead Poets Society. Oh, yeah. You know, softy at heart I am. I've never watched it. It's a real softy old movie. You love that. It's lovely. Robin Williams. Oh, is it when he teaches the class? Okay, cool. Yeah, it's lovely. Great movie. Ethan Hawke. That's it. Young Ethan Hawke. Number three for 2025 for Pugs. It'd be weird if he was in the class and he was old Ethan Hawke. I'd prefer that. But it could have been a young Robin Williams and then an old Ethan Hawke. Anyway, number three, Good Will Hunting. I watched that for the first time this year. Right.

42:39Jason Hoyte:You're shitting me. Broke my heart. Great film, Robert Williams, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck. Epic, epic, epic. Hey, young Ben Affleck. Well, more to the point, young Matt Damon at university. I've got two more of these, okay? Okay. Here we go. Number two, one battle after another, Paul Thomas Anderson. Hey, old Paul Thomas Anderson. Yes. Yeah, righto. Old Leo DiCaprio. He does get old in that movie, actually. Just unbelievable. Spoiler, by the way. I was actually gobsmacked for like maybe 80 % of that movie just sitting there. Loved it.

43:10Mike Minogue:Seriously, Mogell, I was sitting next to him. His gob was smacked. Was smacked. Smacked over.

43:15Jason Hoyte:And was smacking. It was going... Okay. And my number one film that I watched in 2025 is...

43:26Jason Hoyte:The Naked Gun. Oh. Leslie Nielsen. Yeah. You didn't really bang on about... Oh, the original one. The original. Not the Liam Neeson one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The original one based on Police Squad, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Blew my mind. I mean, Jace had been telling me to watch it for months because I'm a big Family Guy fan, and you can clearly see the inspiration there. Right? Yeah. Unreal, just the funniest thing I've ever seen. Would Warfare creep into your top five now? I'd maybe put it in top ten. I'd go maybe a good seven or eight for that one. Good on you, Pugsans. That's the way to do it.

43:59Hey, cheers, guys.

44:00Mike Minogue:Hey, what are we doing tomorrow, Mo? Boogie top fives. Ah, books. It's either podcast or books. Books is going to be a short list. And podcast is going to be a short list as well. But an opportunity to do some promotional content there, Keezy. So maybe we'll do podcast tomorrow. Right, so I can talk about my gaming podcast, Extremely Casual Gamers. Well, you put yourself in the firing line, but we can risk it.

44:21Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show with Jace, Mike and Keezy. Tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hauraki.

44:27Mike Minogue:That's right. It is the Hauraki Big Show for Tuesday, the 16th of December, 2025. Keezy, Mogey and Pugs here. And as always, the Big Show brought to you by Reburger. Beef, chicken, vegan and vegetarian options.

44:38Jason Hoyte:Reburger, redefining the norm.

44:41Mike Minogue:Scrum diddlyumptious. Certainly is scrum diddlyumptious. Mogey, what's Dins tonight, man? No idea. You know me, man. I don't know until I get home. It could be something really delicious or it might not even exist. I don't know until I walk through the door. What about last night? Last night was good actually I messaged my wife She made like a It would be like a A car guy More like a Tom Yum Ah yeah soup What's a car guy? A Tom Car Guy I thought you were It's a Thai thingy It's a Thai soupy thing So she made that And she said also And there's some dumplings as well Yum I didn't have the heart to tell her That I'd eaten an entire packet of dumplings for lunch.

45:26Right. So I just made another entire packet for dinner and then ate those as well.

45:31Mike Minogue:Yeah. Yum. I think it's good. Yeah. And you're like 30 dumplings later, you're sitting there, you're full. Yeah. And my daughter also ate a 12-pack of dumplings all by herself. It's a weird thing. Maybe we'll talk about this another time, but kids famously don't eat their lunches. Yes. You know what I mean? They just do not eat them. Not this kid. But then they eat a shitload because my daughter yesterday had two poached eggs on toast and then said, can I have some more? And ate another two eggs, two poached eggs on toast. Wow. So four poached eggs and two pieces of toast is a hell of a lot for a six-year-old.

46:10But they just go through these spurts of just eating heaps and then just buttoning off completely and having nothing. Yeah, right. So there's a reason for it. So I just need to work out what the sort of rhythm is so I can stop making lunch, putting it in her lunchbox, she takes it to school, she brings it home, we put it in the bin.

46:27Mike Minogue:Yeah. Well, the rhythm I used to have at school was my mum would do that and then I'd put it in the bin at school. Which is the better way to go. Or trade the delicious ham, like lettuce, tomato sandwich for a roll-up. Yeah. And then wrap that around my thumb and suck on it.

46:41Jason Hoyte:My rhythm was eating my lunch at morning tea time. and then scamming off the other kids. Yeah, and then scamming off the other kids. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

46:51Mike Minogue:Hey, what are we going into here, Pugs? Smazz-a-pezzz. Ah, smazz-a-pezzz. The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. Audio Slave on The Hauraki Big Show Tuesday evening with Keezy Mogi and Pug-san. It's time for an update on The Big Pole.

47:06Jason Hoyte:The Big Pole.

47:13Mike Minogue:Dish, Dish, Dish. Shandy. Today's big poll is regarding Mogi and his new spectacles. That's right. Old Mogi here has got some more reading, has got not more, but new reading glasses. So for the very first time, my eyes have been dying on me for the last couple of years. I finally bit the bullet, went along, got my eyes tested, got some new frames, got the lenses and picked them up on Sunday. Yep. Not feeling great about it. Don't want to have them. Rather be blind. My wife thinks they look good. I disagree. so we thought we'd go with a binding referendum today. Mogi's glasses, yes or no. Apparently, if it's over 50%, I have to keep wearing them.

47:51Mike Minogue:That's right. So you can vote on the big poll, Hodaki Big Show's Instagram story. And also, we chucked a photo on Facebook too for comments and a photo on Instagram just for comments as well. So the result of the big poll is 81 % of New Zealand says yes to your new glasses. So you can feel better. I know you're feeling a little bit self-conscious. I think you can feel better about wearing them. Great. Now, some of the comments would sort of say otherwise. See, this is the thing, isn't it? They voted yes, but it's not necessarily because they want me to look good. No. They want me to wander around looking like a jackass.

48:24Mike Minogue:They want you to wear those glasses. Yes. Now, that's an issue. Joel says, pretty wounding, but he'll leave them at the pub before the week's out, so all G. True. Nice. That is true. Thank you. Phil says, they're not going to fall off. Oh, yeah. I feel like we should play sad music underneath this. Gary says What's his nana going to wear now? Oh she's dead Yeah So she doesn't need the glasses Yeah true Because the worms have got her eyes now Was she buried? Yeah Sorry to hear that man Oh we did it on purpose What? Buried her Oh yeah Kelly says I love Mrs Doubtfire

49:07There's actually a gif of Mrs Doubtfire waving through the curtains. And there is certainly a likeness.

49:17Mike Minogue:Stuart says a beak like that could support a much bigger frame. A few people have suggested the John Kerwin goggles, the giant frames. Yeah, look, I tried those on. It's just a big statement. I think even John Kerwin needs to rethink those. It's like having two, like, oil painting photo frames sitting on the front of your face. That's right, exactly. Without the paintings inside. They look like girls' glasses. Doesn't matter. They're unisex. Yeah, that's right. Daryl says sexy stallion. Oh, I'll take that. Nice. Looks like Jeremy Wells' older brother. Older? No, I am, actually. Gareth says nerd.

49:57This one here from Brattle95. Did they use a horse saddle for the bridge?

50:06holy honker brother he says this is bringing the percentage down surely we're getting back from an 81 to about a 50 50

50:15Mike Minogue:no no because you've got um michael here whose profile photo is a racing horse he's just commented why so that's gonna make you feel good or nat thompson here who says you'd need good eyes to see through those bastards.

50:35Jason Hoyte:The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki.

50:46Mike Minogue:Douche. Well, there you go, you mad bastards. The Hauraki Big Show done and dusted for Tuesday, the 16th of December. Thank God that's down, am I right, fellas? Oh, man. God, it was a big year. Yeah, yeah. So much content. A lot of content. I almost wish sometimes we had an extra hour or so per show to do more content because we try and squeeze so much in. Well, Christmas is coming up, man. So, you know, you should have a chat to Santa. You reckon Santa? Yeah, yeah, yeah. More content, 2026. That would be so great. On the podcast outro today, speaking of more content, what are we talking about?

51:21Mike Minogue:I feel like I'm turning into jokes.

51:24Jason Hoyte:Pugs, what's the clip you've got there about? Dilly's title of this clip, Wacky Gag. What would happen if we just didn't turn up?

51:34Mike Minogue:I don't know, probably get sacked. Oh, yeah, true, there'll be that. Well, yeah, 100%. Yeah, there'll be that. It's pretty cut and dry. Yeah. Would that not be a warning? I reckon you should. Guys, you've got to come to work. Why don't we do some wacky radio content where Moggy, tomorrow we all agree, as a bit of a radio gag, that you just don't turn up. Yeah, sure. And we just see what happens. Okay, cool. So tune in for that tomorrow. So you're going to stick to it? You're definitely going to do it? Oh, 100%. Because I'll do my part. I'll show up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You turn up. And Mogi's going to not show up.

52:06Mike Minogue:I won't be there. Let's just see what happens. Yeah. Because we don't know until we try. Yeah, that's right. Do I come in? It could be good. Oh, you'll be here. Oh, okay. We need someone to prematurely press buttons and shit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Or just not press them at all.

52:20Jason Hoyte:Thanks, brother.

52:21Mike Minogue:Plus you don't really show up most days anyway, if you know what I mean. Oh. That's right. And it wouldn't be the same if we didn't walk in here and they just hit with a wall of the stench of cheese.

52:31Jason Hoyte:Guys, are we still playing the outro clip? Because this is a wacky gag. Nah.

52:36Mike Minogue:We are, of course, joking. All that stuff is made up aside from the cheese stuff.

52:40Jason Hoyte:Hey, Pugs, what are you doing tonight, man? I am going out for a little, maybe perhaps a beer and some food with a couple of pals because I don't think I'll see them this side of the new year if I don't do it tonight. It's clearing up a bit. I know you're a bit worried about the weather. It's not as bad as it was. Yeah, well, I wanted to go to the outdoor area. I was looking for a lovely sunset. But look, it's a lovely place. We'll find a spot on the sun. Good on you, man. I'm sure it'll be great. And then, who knows? Maybe go home and watch some more Love Island. Good on you, man.

53:06Mike Minogue:Well, you know Mogey's going to go home, but he doesn't know what he's having or what he's doing yet. Oh, I know what I'm doing. I'm watching the second half of F1.
