0:00For all you mad bastards loving the Big Show podcast, get up even closer on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok or Raw Doggett. 4 to 7 every weekday on Radio Horeke. Hello.

0:18Keyzie:Oh, g'day, Philz. You've got to get the mics on, man. What are you doing? Well, I mean, I just assumed they were going to be on when the music stopped. That's Pugs is having a shock at 69 at Gmodo.com.

0:28Mike Minogue:Well, no, because that was my fault. But also I love the fact that you did a really – But you don't have your own email. No, no. So it's good to go to that.

0:33Keyzie:What is your email, Keezy?

0:38Mike Minogue:MrKee at gmail.com. Nice.

0:40Keyzie:Okay, yeah, good.

0:42Mike Minogue:So feel free to get in touch. No, I love the idea that you just gave that. G'day, fellas, everything you had. I did. And no one heard it. No.

0:51Keyzie:It was orgasmic in its energy. And then the second one was like, oh, okay. Keezy's fucked it. So now I just have to re-track myself.

1:00Mike Minogue:It's not often that happens though, eh? Usually a safe pair of hands, old Keezy. Old Keezy over there. What's going on, Jase? What did you do today? Talk us through one of your city shockers. What a beautiful day. Can I just say that? You're a cracking day, Moji. Rode my bike into work and I was just taken by the beauty of the city. Yes. Gorgeous it was.

1:18Keyzie:Well, it's lovely to just wander. I woke up at four.

1:22Mike Minogue:That's a weird time to wake up. Why didn't you just wake up later than that?

1:25Keyzie:It was a shocker. And, you know, I can wake up at four before. Four before. Four before. Four by four. But then I fall back to sleep.

1:33Mike Minogue:You wake up in a four by four.

1:34Keyzie:But I woke up at four and couldn't get back to sleep for the life of me. So I got up and wandered into the lounge. What did you do? I just sat there and watched a YouTube video for a little while. Watched a mukbang? And then I came back. Trump or mukbang? My wife was awake as well. He's ignoring us. Which one was it? She was tossing and turning as well. Jay, switch around. And then I lay in bed for 20 or 30 minutes and then was like, oh, for fuck's sake, got up again and watched another video. Trump or mukbang? On YouTube.

2:13Well, I've got an interesting bit of news, and I'm wondering if I should save it for sleep chat there.

2:20Mike Minogue:That was a shocker. You got that on camera? Good. Hey, Mogey. Yeah, nice. That was next level. And it's just another day in the life, isn't it? And I had a sleep all through the night. I went to sleep and I woke up this morning, so that would be the first time in 10 or 12 years that that has happened. That's great. I just fucking yes that, man. That's a miracle. That's great. First time in 10 or 12 years, so it's about the same amount of time that you've had a good night's sleep as the last time Jace hosted a dinner party. As long as I've been married. Yeah, right. There you go. Well, another correlation.

2:55Keyzie:Yeah, do you think they're related in some way? Related or unrelated. But anyway, I hadn't finished my sleep chat. Thank you. Sorry, I was putting me to sleep. Sorry, it felt like it was done. And then, so I got up again and then went back and then I went for wheeze and still couldn't sleep. No, this chat's done. And then I eventually fell asleep at about, oh no, half past six. Got up and my wife was doing Pilates and stuff and I said to her, how'd you sleep? Just so that you could have your lead in so that you could say that you had a shocker. And she said terribly. Terribly, terribly because you kept getting up all the time.

3:29Well, I couldn't sleep last night, right?

3:33Mike Minogue:Finally got to sleep, I reckon, about one. I then woke up because my wife got up and went toilet. And then I was just like to her, I woke up and I found myself being awake. I was like to her, what time is it? And she's like, two. And I was just like, fuck's sake, I only just got to sleep and now I've woken up again. She's like, it's not my fault. I was like, no, no, I'm not saying it was.

3:52Keyzie:It sounds like you're the same. Sounds like you're really. Really, really moody.

3:58Mike Minogue:So bad sleep as well, Jase, but I'm not going to bang on about it.

4:01Keyzie:But that was the start of my head. What videos were you watching, man? None of your beeswax, man. Trump. Was it anti-Trump or pro-Muckbang? I think it might have been the bulwark. The hell's that? It's a... Political thing. Yes. Yeah, good. I wonder why you couldn't get to sleep. I don't know. It was so weird because there was nothing that happened last night. I was really tired when I went to bed. I felt good. But what time did you go to bed? 20 past 10 maybe? Half past 10? Jesus, that's right. It wasn't. I can't remember the last time I went to bed in the 10s. Well, it would have been on Friday night.

4:38Yeah, it was. Friday night. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that was shit. So. Oh, shit. But I can't remember it.

4:45Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show. Weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. The Hauraki Big Show podcast.

4:53Keyzie:But you game to the wee small hours, don't you, Kesey? I actually do. Boom, boom, boom. Oh, no, hamstring, hamstring. I watched the last episode of Night. Did you watch it, Kesey?

5:05Mike Minogue:Sure did. Yes. Everyone watched it? Yes. Good stuff, fellas. Yeah, so we'll talk about that. No, I don't game to the small. I think I might if I had a regular job where I had to be up early. Because you get more spare time in this job. So I don't have the urge to stay up really fucking late to do the stuff I like doing. That's true. So, yeah. Keezy's got it covered, man. Got it sorted, man. Don't worry about Keezy, man. Yeah, it's good, man. That's great, Keezy. Got it sorted. Got it figured out, Jase. Because what you've done is made your days jam-packed with stuff. Yeah. And so now you don't have time to, you know.

5:37Mike Minogue:Yeah. Like, what did you do today? Why don't you guys play more golf? What's happening there? Jase keeps cock-blocking it. Cock-blocking it. You're blocking Keezy's cock because he's trying to fuck you at golf.

5:48Keyzie:We've had to have, you know, there's little bits and pieces going on and people coming over and that sort of stuff going on. We just needed to settle. Yeah. But then, because we're going to be doing it this Thursday, but, Mogey, I forgot it's my daughter's 18th birthday on Thursday. How could you forget that? Well, I didn't really. It was in the back of my mind. In the back of your mind? You forgot it? You mean that when somebody told you it was, you go, oh, that's right, it's her birthday? No, I knew that last week, but then I forgot it again.

6:17Mike Minogue:When it's in the back of your mind, is it put next to your wedding anniversary in that storage compartment? That's right. Yeah, pretty much. No, you completely forgot it then. You put it in the shelf. You put it in a little container on the shelf right at the top and you've marked it, who gives a fuck? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then you've closed the doors on it. Yeah. So technically it's in your brain, but you don't care about it. Yeah, man.

6:41Keyzie:So I said to Kesey, I may have to cock-blop Thursday because it's my daughter. How are you doing tomorrow? And my wife has rehearsal on Thursday night. So it's like, oh, when are we going to? But then my daughter wants to go clubbing for the first time. With you? No.

6:58Mike Minogue:Golf clubbing?

6:59Keyzie:No. Seal clubbing? No. Club footing? Clubbing, clubbing. And it's like, oh, fuck, are we moving into that era? Ace of clubzing. I think she'll hate it. She'll definitely hate it. But she spends most of her time out west now. She'll love it. She doesn't really hang out with us very much. Are you sad about that? I am sad about that. I'm sad about it because I had to clear up the cat's shit again today. Jizz shit. It's not my fucking job. I don't want the fucking cat. No, I think you'll find that it is. But you knew that that cat was yours. I thought you said that your cat was just out of the tray.

7:34Out of the tray, yes. Yeah, you're a shocking bastard.

7:37Keyzie:It's like, this is not what I fucking signed up for here. We've got two now. We've got the two trays. We're running the two trays, which is much better. and my daughter, all six years of her, is cleaning up that shit and that piss without complaint. Yeah, good. Amazing. Wow. She's like, wow, look at this, Dad. This is a huge wee. So I don't need to see it. Yes. But I appreciate the chat. When my daughter's home, she does that. She's just never home. Right. Flowing the coop. What were you guys doing at 18? Were you home?

8:10Mike Minogue:I was living at home. I was. Well, she's in a weird space, isn't she? Because she's a February birth. Yes. The year that I turned 18, the following year I went to Technic. Technical College. Polytechnical. You went to Polytech. I was going to say, Jase makes fun of people that went to Polytech. Polytech. And he does that by making the voice of somebody that's mentally impaired. Yeah. Which is not the done thing. But when you pair it with the racism and the sexism, it's sort of on brand. Just right to. It's on brand for sure. Jase, you can't do that. What were you doing when you were 18?

8:52Keyzie:I left home pretty much immediately after I left school. What were you doing? Jacking it. Went into a flat with my mates, Marty and Brendan. In a flat with my mates, Marty and Brendan. Jase, and Jase as well. In Newton Gully there. Newton Gully. Newton Gully. Which, incidentally, the flat that we moved into came up for sale about a year and a half ago. And I went, oh, my God, that's my old fucking flat. Was it cool? It was very cool because I'd done it all up and stuff. When we were there, it was just like bombs. You should buy it. I wanted to. And my wife was just like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

9:38Keyzie:Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Like a cow girl. Yeah. Cow person. Would that flat have been? I was at teacher's training college. Teacher's training college. Training teachers. Which I lasted about. I lasted about. He is shaking his head.

10:02Mike Minogue:Are we allowed to do that? What's the gut? I don't know. My philosophy is if Jase does it, it's all G. The trouble is in this room, it seems like it's okay. and I'm worried that we're going to get cancelled. Nah, it'll be sweet.

10:16Keyzie:It's just what we used to do at school. Yeah, that's right. When we talked about polytech. I know, but when you talked about lots of things. Yeah. But what are you doing when you're doing that voice is my question because I'd love to make it a part of the show, but I'm not sure we're allowed. I went to polytech. The implication being that you're a bit of a deer brain.

10:36Mike Minogue:Yeah, we get it. Yeah, it's good stuff.

10:38Keyzie:But I was at Teachers Training College and I lasted about, I can't even remember, I was steamed most of the time, about two or three months. No longer than that because I did my first section where you go out and teach for a month. That's right, you had a shocker. No, I was told that I would be an outstanding teacher. I've told you this story.

10:59Mike Minogue:You weren't hammered.

11:00Keyzie:I was told by the head of education at the Teachers Training College that I would be an outstanding teacher, but that I wouldn't last. No, but that's true. And I quit a week later. Yeah, yeah. What a premonition. That person knows talent when she sees it. He. Yeah. You got that one wrong. Jase is on a fiction. Jase is going home now. I'm number one, best in the world. Come on, fellas.

11:28Mike Minogue:Bugs, we're going to be sweet with this one. This isn't going on YouTube or anything. That's all G. Okay, cool. Maybe just don't release this one, man.

11:42Keyzie:I mean, is it? No, it's sweet air, man. It's all G, isn't it? We'll find out. Yeah, we'll find out. Well, I said it with, I was just imitating Jase. Yes, I was copying Jase. I don't know what Jase was doing, but I was imitating him. Throw me under the bus, fellas. Go on. Hey, listen to the big show.

12:01Mike Minogue:Oh, yeah. Four to seven weekdays. That's an extra special long one for you today, fellas. Wow, 11 minutes. 12 now. How good?
