Or Raw Dog It, 4 to 7 every weekday on Radio Hodec. Oh great. Oh g'day fellas. Backbone. Hello. How about them wires, Jase? I didn't actually watch it. Yeah. All I can say is Melbourne must be shit at the moment. Yeah, man. They are definitely not in form. Is that their third or fourth loss in a row? Third?
0:40Mike Minogue:Fourth. Fourth. Fucking hell, how good. Yeah, man. But they'll be back. There's still a team that if you told me that at the end of the season they were in the top four, I would be not surprised.
0:50Keyzie:I only watched two sporting events over the weekend, a bit of the Masters, golf. Didn't watch a single swing of that. Didn't even know it was on until this morning.
0:57Mike Minogue:My father-in-law was staying, so we were watching a lot of that.
1:00Keyzie:It was good. And old Rory taking that out. Good on him. Feel sorry for Justin Rose. No, I don't. He's a bit of a pillock. Is he? He's a bit anal.
1:09Mike Minogue:But you love anal. How so?
1:11Keyzie:Well, he's just one of those guys that takes forever to play a shot. Oh, what a fucking arsehole. Yeah, fuck that guy. Fuck that guy, man. What a cunt. Oh, Keezy. Bleep that, please, Pugs. Can you bleep it? I'll tell you a sporting team at the moment that you guys won't be watching that is on fire. Auckland FC. No, the Hurricanes. They are on another planet at the moment. Every team they play, they beat by 50. They are unbelievable. What was the score in the game on the weekend? 42-22. That's 20. Yeah, but the Blues are right up at the top as well, and they deduge them.
1:50Mike Minogue:Do you want to do what's happening in rugby union with me, Hoody J, today? That's a good idea, man.
1:54Keyzie:Nah.
1:55Mike Minogue:But you're on the podcast.
1:57Keyzie:I just talked about it. You fucking love it. I don't repeat myself, man. Don't you?
2:02Mike Minogue:Don't you, you vicious little master? That's all we do. That's all we do is go in circles. Once a year, we reset.
2:07Keyzie:Now, I've come to a medical conclusion, by the way.
2:11Mike Minogue:Oh, yeah. You was meant to be dead. Can you say that? I have to give up the vape.
2:19Keyzie:It's really hurting me. I don't give a fuck anymore, man. Yeah, I know you don't. I know you don't. I don't care.
2:24Mike Minogue:I'm not getting hurt again.
2:25Keyzie:I've got like a constant headache, and I'm pretty sure it's the vape.
2:29Mike Minogue:Yeah. You know, one thing I will say about you and your vape, you're doing it more.
2:32Keyzie:No, I've actually been doing it less.
2:34Mike Minogue:Okay, because you didn't used to leave the studio, and now you leave the studio.
2:36Keyzie:I did, yes, in that sense. But actually, I'm actually smoking it less. In the sense that he's doing it more, then, yes. Oh, he's bowled him. Yes. Why all of a sudden do you care about T20s? Oh, because I was following this a little bit before. But, yeah, so. Because it's just, and my lungs feel sore, my head feels sore. It's got to go. I bet you don't quit. You're probably right. How much money should I put on it? Okay, make it realistic.
2:59Mike Minogue:50? Oh, more than that. Because I was going to counter bet. Hang on, I haven't said I'm doing it yet. Yep. Well, what are you talking about then? No, let's do this. You bet$100 he won't quit. Yeah, and you'll bet$100 he will. I bet, but we just need parameters. Okay. Okay, so by the – so like you stop by the end of this month. We're halfway through the month. I don't know. Sure. You've got two weeks to stop. Okay. And then no more vaping. No, no, no. You don't get two weeks to stop. Oh, so from now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Two weeks from now. So the first of May you're off the vape. Yep. Okay. And then not allowed to vape or have a cigarette.
3:40Mike Minogue:Dude, dude. Look how common it's about you. I'll make it for the month of May. He won't give up for the month of May. Okay. You're on. Okay, great. Okay, so wait. We're on? You're on. What are we giving up? That's$100. What is it? He's given up for the month of May. Yes. And you both have to pay me$100. Okay. Okay, and I have to pay both of you$100. Oh, right. Okay, we all agreed on that? Yes. Okay, that's recorded. We're happy with that. Yes. Jase, we're going to Magic Round in Brisbane. Yes. We are. There's no chance. Now, also, I want it to be clear that you can't replace it with cigarettes.
4:13Yes. Okay, good. Okay, I've got a fallback. Is meth okay? You've got a fallback? Well, no, I've got my nicotine gum. Yeah, your gum and your patches. Is that all good? Because that is actual giving up.
4:24Mike Minogue:Yes. That's fine. So, Jase, come on, man. This is like you're taking money out of my wallet here, man. I need you to be on your bed. Yeah, no, fair, fair, Keyeson, fair. It's almost worth it, Jase, for you to throw it, to lose, just because it cost Keyeson 100 bucks. Imagine Jase comes in on the final day of May and vapes in the studio. And just rips off fucking boat.
4:43Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. The Hauraki Big Show podcast.
4:51Keyzie:Yeah, look, I'll give myself a 20 % chance there, but I'll back myself. I think it's zero. Yeah. Just based on previous experience, but also previous experience, I would back you to have given up the darts, but you're far deeper into this addiction with the vape than you ever were with the cigarettes because you're doing it day and night. but it'll be interesting we'll see now I'm going to explain to Lucy where that hundred bucks has gone and it'll be like you better set up your Hoity J giving up Siggy's account you should you should have one of those going this will be the eighth one I'll say to my wife
5:36Mike Minogue:I bet a hundred dollars that Hoity J's giving up the vape for the entire month of May and then she'll say oh the same Hoity J who when we were at his house we found out he was lying about giving up the vape yes she'll say that and then I'll say yes and she'll say oh yeah okay
5:48Keyzie:So she'll be proud of you for supporting your buddy.
5:53Mike Minogue:100 % Jase. And I will make this bet again every month of the year if it meant you weren't on the vape, mate. Yeah, but you betting on it's not going to help. No, it's not. I also say I would love for you to be offered as well, Jase.
6:03Keyzie:Yeah, yeah. Well, it's just I've just hit this headache. And I wanted to pay 100 bucks for it. And it's hurting my head a lot. So there you go. Good weekend, fellas. I was just sitting around mostly thinking about you and your vaping.
6:16Mike Minogue:I was actually at home Talking to my wife Like should we get into it Vaping So that we can connect to Jase On like the same level I think so It's a good idea And be like oh man I'm pretty deep into this vaping as well man Should we kick it together It's not good Well also I had a couple of darts on the weekend Oh did you Yep I was very very close to drinking in fact Oh dear I had a mate come over That I hadn't seen for ages And he was peer pressuring me To drink What was he saying Was he actually You should drink He was like come on man Oh 100 % Really He was like, you've done 100 days, man. Just drink.
6:45And he was just like, I'm just going to chip away at you all night. But he's somebody that I always drink with. Yes. And so it was odd to not be drinking while he sat there drinking a bottle of gin. And we watched The Waz. Oh, that sounds great. Yeah, it would have been great. Did he enjoy it? Smoke and dance. We had a great time regardless. But it was good because I'd had a horrendous sleep the night before. I was like, I'm tired as. Nah, I just won't do it. And then I woke up the next day and I was thrilled. By the time I got to the Warriors, which is what time was that? 9.30. I was over the idea of drinking.
7:16The temptation had gone by that point.
7:17Keyzie:You've just reminded me, I'm meeting some mates this week who I used to get on the piss with big time. Nice. At a bar. Nice. But, yeah.
7:26Mike Minogue:You're not going to have a vape. Oh, no, it's April still.
7:27Keyzie:Yeah, it's still April. You're all good, Keezy. But, yeah, it's hard, eh? It's hard when your mates are like, fuck. Come on, man. Well, I always find it easy, generally, like when I gave up in my 20s, which should have been the hardest one, whenever I might be standing there and this is when I was in Aussie, so you're down the pub four or five nights a week and I might be standing there thinking, oh, fuck, I might have a beer. Maybe I'll have a beer. Because I gave up for three and a half years. So I might be standing there thinking I might have a beer, but somebody goes, come on, man, have a beer.
7:58I'll be like, fuck you, man. No, I'm not doing it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And that was it. The inner voice is much more powerful. And I think given the fact that I am going to be on it at Magic Round. Yeah, that's a foregone conclusion. So that makes me go, well, you're going to be on it at Magic Round. Why don't you just get into it? You better do some. And that's what he was saying. You better get some training in. You don't want to be over at Magic Ground with no training under your belt. You'll be fine. You're going to be, of course I will. It's amazing. But you want to get a bit under your belt, you know, before you go.
8:25Yeah, get a piss fit, man.
8:26Keyzie:It's amazing how clever your mind is. Oh, yeah. And it knows your loopholes. No one knows me like my own mind. Yes, and it's like, come on, buddy. Come on, mate.

8:36Mike Minogue:It'll be all right. It'll be sweet as, man. You might as well just have a cup, please. But I wouldn't be tempted at all if there was no magic round and I was going, I'm not drinking all year. I wouldn't have cared about him the other night. But because there's this window, the window, then it seeps out into everything else.
8:52Keyzie:Yeah, it just seeps through that crack. Yeah. I only get on it now. But we're not long now, fellas, four weeks. Fuck, that's come quick. Yeah, it has, eh? It has come quick. Good weekend, Keezy?
9:02Mike Minogue:Really great weekend. In-laws are in town. Oh, yes. So I watched a lot of the Masters there. And no, it was really nice. Nice. Really nice, actually. Cyclone Not Too Bad at my joint. Yeah, that was what it was called. They renamed it. Oh, really? From Vianu. It's to Cyclone Not Too Bad.
9:17Keyzie:It didn't arrive in Auckland, by all accounts.
9:19Mike Minogue:It pivoted and went straight across the bay and down to the Hawks Bay.
9:23Keyzie:Yeah, because I was speaking to my bro who lives in Tauranga, and he said it was pretty fucking grim down there.
9:28Mike Minogue:Mum and Dad said the same. Yeah. But we were lucky.
9:32Keyzie:So, yeah, it was good. Pissing down yesterday, but it still got the walks in. It's nice though, wasn't it? It's just raining. Yeah, and you'd have to be inside. I was worried about, I didn't care about the cyclone coming. I was worried about my West Auckland property. Just blowing away. Just blowing away. It's like the first house. And getting a frantic call from my tenants saying, our roof's blown off.
9:54Mike Minogue:I'm picturing the first house in the Three Little Pigs nursery rhyme. Yep. The one that they built out of hay. There's just a shuddering pig in there revealed naked and shaking. That's right. Yeah. That's what I'm picturing of your old house. but hey if you're listening to this this will actually be on YouTube I think tomorrow maybe Far out because Pugs is back and we're back on YouTube Pugs are baby every now and then
