In short

A comedic “outro” chat on the Hauraki Big Show podcast where hosts Pugs and Jace banter about weekend exhaustion (golf), “filth”/disclaimer territory, divorce stories, marriage dynamics, and messy public toilets (including a “tiny poo” in a urinal). They also tease social media/Instagram posts from their colleague Keezy (boat shoes, travel shots, beers) and discuss DJ gig behavior (Pugs allegedly half-hammered, falling asleep, urinating on stage).

Guest backgrounds

No guests appear; only the hosts and references to Keezy and “Dilly” (a DJ colleague) are mentioned.

Key claims

marriage “trickery,” divorces lead to different coping behaviors, and public toilets are “foul.”

Notable examples

Italy Pinot Noir posts after divorce; urinal “tiny poo”; Keezy’s boat shoes vs Birkenstocks; Pugs’ last gig “massacre.”

0:15Keyzie:Oh hell yeah! Oh yeah! That's four people's energy in two people. Yeah totally man. Now don't use up all your energy Pugsunkus. We were talking off air, you've had a big weekend. I said I was tired. And boy, oh boy, am I going to be chatting about it on the show. You also said you were tired. Yeah, but that's because I. And then yawned audibly. I did nine holes today. And if she's a very. What were your names? That is. Already. We're in disclaimer territory. And that is a shocker, Pugs-san.

0:53Jason Hoyte:That's not disclaimer territory.

0:55Keyzie:That is disgusting. What was the name of the. Disgusting. Oh, of course. Oh, my God. Are you still seemed, man?

1:01Jason Hoyte:I feel like I need to be careful and not go down a rooted track from The Breakfast Show because his problem is every single thing that comes out of somebody's mouth, he has to find something filthy with it. You know? And I don't want that.

1:15Keyzie:I said I played nine holes and he said, what were their names? And that's disgusting.

1:20Jason Hoyte:I don't know what you're.

1:20Keyzie:I mean, Mogi, you know what Mogi can be like. Yeah, I do. Where do you think I get it from? Seriously filthy. But I'm disappointed in you that we're already in bloody disclaimer territory and we've only just kicked off our Monday afternoon, you filthy bastard, which makes sense to me given what you were saying you got up to over the weekend.

1:43Jason Hoyte:Oh, yeah, sure. Same for the show, man.

1:45Keyzie:I tell you what, I have been shocked from the sweet young boy I first met to the pug son that is emerging now, the stallion.

1:58Jason Hoyte:It's one of those things where I think genuinely it was my job to not be too out there when I first came in as a producer. You know what I mean? Sure. I'm there to help you guys. That's my job. And so part of that I think just inadvertently became not revealing. Your filth. Not filth, just to be.

2:22Keyzie:Was that why you wore the sort of weird shoes? You like your boat shoes? I still wear those.

2:28Jason Hoyte:I don't know what you're talking about.

2:30Keyzie:What's with those? Which ones?

2:31Jason Hoyte:The loafers?

2:32Keyzie:Yeah, with the little tag on them. With the tassel, yeah. We need to talk about your shoes, Pugs.

2:38Jason Hoyte:Save it for Keezy, man.

2:40Keyzie:Keezy's the one with boat shoes. Yeah, well, I actually, because, of course, he's posting all these images. How fucking good does that look?

2:48Jason Hoyte:Oh, it looks like he's having a magnificent time. I did have something to raise with you about that, but there might be show chat.

2:53Keyzie:Yeah. Yeah, we talk about that on the show. But I asked him, because he's in his Birkenstocks or whatever they're called. And I was like, where are the floaters, man? He was like, come on, Jase. Yeah.

3:04Jason Hoyte:Two pairs, the Birks and the boat shoes.

3:06Keyzie:Yeah. Yeah. It reminds me actually seeing those images of Keezy over there. Mogies have mostly just been shots of bear.

3:17Jason Hoyte:Yeah, 100%. Different countries, a different country every time. And then he posted something else and I replied to him and I said, can you put the beers back, please? I don't want to see anything else. Yeah, yeah. Just a beer in a different country.

3:27Keyzie:We don't want to see the great accommodation you're living. Reminds me of when my first wife left me, actually. Oh, man. And after the divorce settlement. Did you not know I'd been divorced?

3:37Jason Hoyte:No, I knew you'd been divorced.

3:38Keyzie:Oh, yeah. It just pulls up my heartstrings. Oh, no, she... I mean, obviously it was meant to be... I divorced her because I didn't like her parts. You know what I mean?

3:47Jason Hoyte:Why'd you marry her?

3:48Keyzie:Oh, the sex was good.

3:53Keyzie:And after the divorce, of course, because I was earning Dog Squad money, she did very well out of the divorce. Ah. And then she immediately just took a trip to Italy and was posting all over the place, you know, all these shots of her drinking Pinot Noir in Italy. Yeah, yeah. You know, that sort of got deep inside my goat a little bit. Well, they did it after a divorce. Yeah.

4:15Jason Hoyte:It's heartbreak. But also it seems like an appropriate thing to do if you have a divorce is to fuck off. You know what I mean? Well, I guess so.

4:22Keyzie:Yeah.

4:23Jason Hoyte:Live something different.

4:24Keyzie:I held my ground and just carried on like a backbone. My second and third wives, they, after the divorces, yeah, they did that. They went very quiet. Right, but you were out getting on it. Yeah, I was just getting on the steam. Posted hard on Hoody J. And it was fine, actually, because I'd had the experience of my first wife leaving me. So the second and third wives I didn't really care about.

4:52Jason Hoyte:Yeah, yeah. Of course, you got your heart broken and sort of rough. Yeah. I'm not giving that to anyone else.

4:56Keyzie:You know, as I say, it's kind of like how the fellas leaving us has made me, it's kind of brought up those feelings for me again. Yeah. My fourth wife, my fourth divorce hurt because she went out, she left me for another woman, which, you know. Says a lot. Well, you know, I've got to be honest with you, it hurt for a little bit. But then in a weird kind of way, it wasn't as bad as being left for another man. You know what I mean? Right. Is that sexist, Pugsun?

5:28Jason Hoyte:Yeah, probably. I think there's something to be said about helping somebody on their journey to find themselves. You know, even if you're not meant to be with them, Jase, you helped them find out who they really were. And that was to not be with a man.

5:41Keyzie:But then she went back to another guy after that relationship.

5:45Jason Hoyte:Yeah. You were saying it's sort of all the marriages kind of makes you a shell of a man with your current wife and there's just no emotions left. It's just all been rubbed off into a nub.

5:53Keyzie:Oh, look, I'm just in that zone now where, you know, I'm just waiting for the inevitable.

6:00Jason Hoyte:What's that, divorce?

Read the full transcript

6:01Keyzie:Yeah.

6:02Jason Hoyte:Yeah, right.

6:04Keyzie:And, you know, I'm okay with it.

6:06Jason Hoyte:Yeah.

6:07Keyzie:And what it comes down to, Pugsun, is just being okay within yourself.

6:11Jason Hoyte:I'm glad you're okay with yourself, man. Somebody's got to be.

6:14Keyzie:The problem is that all my wives aren't okay with me, it seems to be. You know what I mean? Yeah. I mean, it would be better if they were okay with me, and then I wouldn't have to be okay with being by myself.

6:24Jason Hoyte:It's sort of one of those things where you just slowly release more of your true personality out into the relationship, and then over time that puts them off.

6:32Keyzie:Yeah, they realize that they hate you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, it's like Moggy and I talked about, you know, with our current wives. Marriage really is trickery And you'll discover this Once you've finally settled down and stopped Okay You know what I'm going to say?

6:48Jason Hoyte:You need to pick a lane here Because half the time you're saying I'm jumping in Too quick into my current relationship And then the other half is saying that I'm what? Out and about

6:58Keyzie:No, I'm not saying you're out and about at all I'm just saying you're

7:07Keyzie:Physically active The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. The Hauraki Big Show podcast. You are at the top of your game. Right. You are.

7:23Jason Hoyte:I'm surprised you meeting my partner didn't put you off these jokes.

7:27Keyzie:You're bursting at the seams. I am.

7:31Jason Hoyte:I'm bursting forth from the vibrating testicle couch.

7:35Keyzie:It kind of comes back to, you know, me seeing this filthy side of Pugs that we were talking about earlier.

7:41Jason Hoyte:Yeah.

7:43Keyzie:You're being revealed to me. Right. I think that's good for us. Yeah, well, I think that's good. You know, there's times where I miss cuddly teddy bear Pugs, huh?

7:55Jason Hoyte:I mean, he's still around, man. I think it's part of me, you know. He lives in Studio B there. Yeah, well, that's - Any time you want to come and nuzzle in the cuddly bosom.

8:03Keyzie:Like when you're in Studio B and you're this lovely young fella with tasseled shoes and then you walk into Studio A, the main studio, suddenly the cap goes on backwards. Yeah, no. You know what I mean? I don't wear the cap backwards. Suddenly you bring the bling out a little bit and it's like, what's – even Dilly, Big Dilly was saying to me, actually he was going, fuck, I tell you what, man, because you guys are close, eh, because you do the DJing together. Yeah. He was like, oh boy, old Puck's on. He's changing. He's a-changing. He's moving through his boots.

8:38Jason Hoyte:Yeah, I'm turning up to our DJ gigs one minute before we go on. Half hammered, a whole entourage with me, you know. Yeah. Just like, oh, fucking you do it, Dilly. Just steamed. You push the buttons, man. Yeah, I'll be here.

8:50Keyzie:Yeah, well, he said you totally massacred your last gig. Oh, 100%. Because you were so out of it. Oh, it was garbage. And then he said you fell asleep in the corner on the stage there and pissed yourself. Yeah, but that's part of the show.

9:03Jason Hoyte:That's part of the show

9:05Keyzie:Now I want to clarify Yeah Because you've got me worried now About the whole gay thing I'm fully okay with gayness That's good I'm glad Do you think we need to get a Like a sting for that for me maybe Like an alert Or just want to say that you're okay with it Or that I'm fringing

9:27Jason Hoyte:We'll have an off-air chat about it Actually something that just jumped into my mind that I need to share with you here.

9:33Keyzie:Oh, can we do this off here? No, no, no. Because I don't want to have to put a disclaimer on it. It needs to be before the show.

9:40Jason Hoyte:I was in the urinal before, and I'm not joking. There was, and excuse the toilet chat here, but there was a tiny poo in the urinal. And I'm sorry. This is the only place I can exclaim that. You know what I mean? Like tiny, but it was in there. And I was like, there's no way that's what I think it is. And I probably got, I didn't get too close, but I got close enough to kind of gauge that that's what it was.

10:09Keyzie:You sure it wasn't one of those sort of urinal soaps? Just a brown urinal? Just a brown turnt shaped urinal soap.

10:16Jason Hoyte:Yeah, totally.

10:17Keyzie:That's weird, man. And I tell you, those toilets there, I just don't get it. I don't get the atrocities that go on there. It's like, and genuinely to the audience listening, if there's anyone left, it is foul.

10:34Jason Hoyte:Oh, yeah. They're public access toilets, even though they're in this building, which is a whole bunch of businesses. And so you get people like bus drivers, randoms, just walking in.

10:45Keyzie:You and Kesey keep having a go at bus drivers, which I think is massively.

10:50Jason Hoyte:That's just somebody that I commonly see in there that's not someone that works here.

10:53Keyzie:But honestly, some of the stuff I've seen in there, I don't know how some people can look at themselves in the mirror afterwards. You know what I mean? Yeah. I mean, it's like, what is going on with you? And now people are shitting in the urinal?

11:08Jason Hoyte:How are they learning those habits is what I'm most curious about. I think back, I'm like, psychologically, what is in you to do that, whatever crime you've just committed, and then just walk away? Or just leave it? Or is everything okay with you physically?

11:25Keyzie:and your gut health. Yeah, well, that's true. I mean, but having said that, if you're going to, if you do an atrocity in the toilet, you're hardly going to stand there and wait for other people to turn up so that you can talk them through it, are you? Well, no, I'm not saying they need to talk people through it.

11:40Jason Hoyte:I'm saying just fix it.

11:41Keyzie:You do the atrocity, you quickly scuttle out there. You don't even wash your hands. That's what you do. That's what you do. No, I wash my hands, pugs. That's what you do.

11:52Jason Hoyte:I don't do that. Hey, listen to the Haruki Big Show, by the way. 47 Weekdays on Hodaki. It's the Pugs and Jace show. We've got to find a name for that. See ya.

12:01Keyzie:Thanks, mate.
