In short

The hosts do a chaotic, R18 “disclaimer” intro, then shift into fitness talk: hot yoga vs Pilates, planking/push-up challenges, and unexpected walking for anxiety/stress. They also tease a segment about betting/bragging rights and auditions for replacements.

Guests

No named guests appear in the transcript. Main speakers are “Pugsarm/Pugs-An” and “Keezy” (absent), plus “Jase” and “Dilly/Moggy” referenced as co-hosts/participants.

Key claims

Hot yoga is typically 37–40°C and makes yoga feel more like a workout; Pilates/yoga are tougher than expected. One host says he does 150 push-ups in 10 blocks with planks (~45s each). Walking helped despite hating it, possibly due to stress/anxiety.

Notable examples

Sister visiting from Wellington; DJing a 30th; two walks (2 hours and 1.5 hours); golf-related fitness; koala “jokes” used as the episode’s shock/disclaimer framing.

0:00Keyzie:You g'day you massive backbones. We're just going to put a little disclaimer on the front of this particular podcast. Pugsarm is absolutely as filthy as. So if there's kids with you or whatever, just be aware it's a pretty full on episode. For all you mad bastards loving the Big Show podcast, get up even closer on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok or Raw Doggett 4 to 7 every weekday on Radio Horeke. That's right, fellas. Oh. Fucking pugs. Oh, pugs are. First, come on, man. That's always the first, like literally the first thing we're doing. 30 seconds. Fuck me, guys. Or 20 seconds of that was the fucking sting.

0:43Yeah, true. First three seconds. Don't let that fluster you, though, pugs.

0:47Keyzie:No, that's cool. I'll fuck up the start of the show. I'll fuck up the next few weeks for you, brother. Nah, nah. What was that? A koala bear was on my microphone there. Right. I hate koala bears, man. Yeah, fair enough. Well, aren't they like notoriously diseased? Racist. Syphilis. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Syphilis. Oh, and racist. They've got the chlamydia, I think, is the one that they've got. Oh, yes, chlamydia. By the time Pugs has finished with them. Oh, Jesus. Did you guys know that about Pugs-An? I'm just going to turn your mic back off. Pugs-An fucks koalas. How is this? Okay, this. Oh, koala.

1:25Keyzie:What a star. Listen to me. Are we already in disclaimer territory?

1:29Jason Hoyte:This is what happens whenever I fill in for Keezy, at least the first couple of days, you guys revert to filth because it's so much easier to just dive in on pugs being an absolute fucking animal. Or animal fucker. Well, actually, I don't normally go down the pugs as an animal route. Oh, no. I don't. I don't. No. The koala fucker suits you, man, so we're going to run with that for the next couple of days. Really appreciate that. Certainly the next few days. Can't wait for that. You don't have to. How was the weekend, Pugsun? Yeah, it was a really good thing. It was busy. Did you fuck any koalas?

2:00Jason Hoyte:Yeah, heaps. Heaps, actually. Where did you find them here? There's a koala on my mic, too, and I'm getting slightly turned on by that. Yeah. Imagine that one. Oh, there's a koala. What the fuck is going on? That one wraps around your shaft there, Pugsun.

2:14Keyzie:Oh, this is definitely disclaimer. Two minutes in. Written all over it.

2:18Jason Hoyte:How's your week? Yeah. Oh, yeah.

2:20Keyzie:What's going on with the koala? I've got one as well. It's too big, Muggy. Because old mate was over there, Manaya. Manaya was over there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He brought back some tat for the studio. God bless him.

2:31Jason Hoyte:Yeah, no, weekend was good. One of those ones that I didn't get enough slob me time in there, so I feel like I haven't necessarily had a weekend. What were you doing then? My sister was visiting from Wellington. Oh, yeah, you were saying you're over it. What's it going to say, man?

2:45Keyzie:Do you feel the sort of compulsion when family visits and stuff to take them places and do stuff? 100%.

2:53Jason Hoyte:But I wanted to do that because I love her to death. So it was nice to spend some time with her, go out and about, show her Auckland. She knows parts of Auckland, but we got around pretty much most of the good books.

3:03Keyzie:Well, it's a big place.

3:04Jason Hoyte:Right. Yeah. It's very big, isn't it? Yeah. What else did I do? Dilly and I DJed a 30th on Saturday night. Did you? For a friend of mine. Get cash for that? Maybe. How good.

3:16Keyzie:You charged a mate. Sure, what a piece of work.

3:20Jason Hoyte:He wasn't Dilly's mate, so Dilly was charging him. I said I'd do it for free. Good on you, man. And then what else did we do? Shivers just out and about. Shiver me. Did some yoga on Sunday. Did you? Oh, yeah. How are you going with that? It was good fun. So you've just got you involved in that? Yeah. Yeah. She introduced me. It's bloody good fun, man. I don't know how much fun it is, but it's bloody good. It's tough. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Especially after doing deliberate weight movements and lifting heavy, and then you're doing these very slow and controlled things that are largely core-focused a lot of the time.

3:48Keyzie:As I've mentioned many times, my wife does Pilates every morning. and sometimes they'll watch you. Have you mentioned that? Through the window. And I've got to say, actually, you know, your Pilates, your yogas, it's actually pretty tough, and I would struggle to do a lot of what she does. Right. You know, in terms of flexibility, in terms of holding a pose and all that sort of stuff. But you'd struggle to do five push-ups, so it's not really a measurement. I do, without a word of a lie, 150 of those every morning. Right. but over let me see you do five can you do five right now in 10 15 blocks and I plank for 40 seconds then I do 15 press ups

4:34Jason Hoyte:do you reckon you could plank for one minute what's that do you reckon you could plank for one minute

4:38Keyzie:yes I could definitely I'd be vibrating like a bastard absolutely oh this is good this is easy money go on pugs what are you betting man I'll bet you

4:47Jason Hoyte:you bet me what go for it I'll bet I'll bet you five bucks oh yeah it's very good five bucks and bragging rights isn't bad yeah and bragging rights if you I might have overbitten with a minute well you said a minute this could be a segment on your new show while Kesey and I are away Spurn Boy and the Jizz and one of the segments is it's betting well just any kind of betting five bucks a pop and then bragging rights is the more important thing but the condition is I get to film it for social Absolutely. And every day you can have that at the top of the show, have the argument throughout the show, and then do it at the end.

5:28What's the bet today?

5:29Jason Hoyte:Yeah, yeah.

5:29Keyzie:We're also holding auditions for Mogey and Easy Replacements. Through the talkback. Through the talkback. That's right. Oh, yeah, good. So we want to have a – so, you know, we'll get through. You're on, Pugs I Accept. Great. Great. You want to shake on that? Yep.

5:45Jason Hoyte:Not that, Jase. That was a nice handshake, man.

5:49Keyzie:And here's the weird thing, because what I just said is true. I do do that every morning. Do, do.

5:57Jason Hoyte:150 push-ups in 15 blocks. In 10 blocks. Oh, sorry, in 10 blocks.

6:01Keyzie:So I do 15, and then I plank for 45 seconds, and then I do 15, and I plank for 45 seconds. All at once, so back to back to back to back to back. No. Right. No. Coffee and a dart after every block. If you did the first set at 7am, Yes, which is often the case. What time are you doing the last one? Well, it depends. Sure. Probably about 10.30. Oh, yes? Yeah. Okay.

6:26Jason Hoyte:Well, you're doing it. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. The Hauraki Big Show podcast.

6:36Keyzie:But anyway, getting back to the point of Pilates and yoga. Bloody hard work, man. Yeah, fucking openers. It's like, Jesus. Yeah. Johnny Brough, he does the old yoga mogi. Yeah. And he used to get belittled because he was often the only sort of male in the yoga kind of set up there. And he would say he was often the weakest. And so he couldn't actually do it. And they'd be like, come on, man. You could do better than that. That's why you're there, isn't it? Yeah.

7:07Jason Hoyte:It was a very safe space where I went, but I always feel slightly more at ease when there's another slob boyfriend in the class and you sort of make eyes and you're like, ah, we're in this together, man. I just used to go, I went to the hot yoga a lot, and that was great. Because I find just a normal yoga a bit dull. Yes, yes.

7:26Keyzie:Can you explain to me what makes it hot? The temperature. Oh, so it's literally hot yoga. So they air condition it so it's 37 degrees, between 37 and 40 degrees. So you get a sweat on. And you do your full, yeah, and that feels like a workout. It's great. and it also limbers you up a bit more so you're a bit more stretchy. Yes. But, yeah, that's what I'm going to do moving forward. So strength as opposed to just being big for the size of it or spending time. Because all that happens with me is I'll exercise, put on muscle, and then go back to my normal way of life and lose all the muscle. So there's no point doing it.

8:03Yeah. I've done that now. Have saggy boobies. Well, I won't be doing that. Yes, but I'm going to get into yoga. It's strength for my 50s, you know, babes. Yeah, babes.

8:14Keyzie:Speaking of fitness, a weird thing happened to me over the weekend where I had to walk. God, you're joking. God forbid. And, you know, Moggy, you and I have both discussed the fact that we hate walking. Yeah. Did two walks over the weekend. Saturday morning, a two-hour walk. Two hours. Wow. My wife was like, what do you want to do? And I said, I need to walk. You got a kilometre distance on that? No, just a time. Oh, you said you need to walk. I said we need to walk. I need to walk. And then on Sunday morning it was like, and I think it's anxiety and stress actually. Right. And then on Sunday morning my wife said, what do you want to do?

8:55Keyzie:And I said, I need to walk. And we did like an hour and a half walk. Did you? How random is, and I hate walking. Yeah, bloody good for you though. I bet you felt good. I don't mind when I'm doing golf because then there's something that you're doing in between the walking, which is smacking a ball and then you walk to the ball. but just walking by itself is a no-go for me as a general rule. Oh. Right. Oh. I was going to ask you where your anxiety and stress has come from, but I think I know. Yeah. I don't know. It's bad at the moment, though. It's bad. Well, at least you've got your fitness, though.

9:27Keyzie:You like your fitness. Yes. You like your fitness? And I am getting fitter, actually. Like, on Saturday, I would normally have been huffing and puffing after three quarters of an hour, but I wasn't. Right. So it must be the golf's doing something.

9:40Jason Hoyte:Yes, it will be. Yes. I do feel slightly guilty for doubting you, Jase. I didn't know you were so into your fitness. That's okay, man. Are you into fitness dick in your mouth? See what he's done there, man?

9:51Keyzie:Okay, so the gauntlet's been thrown down, has it? The gloves are off. Oh, boy. Sorry, you started with koala fucker. The gloves are off, and that's the only way pugs will do her, eh? It's easy. Excuse me? Who started with koala fucking?

10:05Jason Hoyte:I didn't say you.

10:07Keyzie:Hoity jizzbock.

10:08Jason Hoyte:I meant the royal you. Piece of shit. The room you. Unbelievable.

10:13Keyzie:Good stuff. When are we doing the planking? Now? Yeah.

10:17Jason Hoyte:All right.

10:18Keyzie:Well, at some point.

10:19Jason Hoyte:We'll do it at some point. Dilly's in there.

10:21Keyzie:I need to get rid of some tension in my body, so that's okay.

10:24Jason Hoyte:I can help you with that. You're going to fuck me. Listen to the big show. We now have to put a disclaimer on. Yes. After that one. We'll record that after this. Listen to the Horaki Big Show live 4 to 7 every weekday on Radio Horaki. and check out the Insta too while you're there at Hauraki Pig Show.
