In short
The hosts banter about food cravings and “pegging” (sexual roleplay), then segue into stag-do planning, TV references, and an audition update.
Guests
No guests appear; it’s a solo/host-only segment with recurring hosts (Keezy, Mogi, Jase, Pugs).
Key claims
“Pegging” is described as a female using a false phallus to penetrate a male partner; Pugs jokes about being “pegged” and then clarifies he uses his own penis. They debate how many Sal’s pizza slices are “perfect” (3 vs 4–5) and whether beer or Coke pairs with pizza.
Notable examples
Mogi’s “pork sword”/pork shumai; popper jacks leading to “pegging” then eating the whole packet; Sal’s pizza size comparisons (“half is like eight normal pizzas”); Jase’s early audition that he felt went badly.

0:32Keyzie:What was...
0:36Keyzie:What did you just give me there from the sushi shop, Mogi? What's that called? I don't know. It's a porky... Oh, actually, Keezy knows what it is. What's it called, Keezy? Pork sword. And you were sucking on it. Mogi gave me his pork sword, and I went, yeah, boy. Pork shumai. Okay. I'm amazed you didn't want some, because you love your Asian cooking, eh, Keezy? You love a bit of Asian food.
1:01Mike Minogue:Jase, I just like food. I do love Asian food. But I know, unlike you, I know when I've had enough. It's not a glutton. That's a good point. Because I would say, Keezy, didn't you say this, man? I've just had something to eat, so I'm all good. Yeah. But for me, if it's yummy, I'm still going to eat it. Same. Piggy. I love those. But what I don't want to do is eat one when I'm not that hungry and not enjoy it. I want when I'm, because when I'm hungry, that's delicious. Yeah, it's good to have self-discipline, mate. Yeah. Because I want to eat it.
1:28Keyzie:I bought a big packet of popper jacks from the supermarket yesterday. I was going to say, is this when you were 12 or is this like? Something about a popper jack that gets me going. They suck. No, they're great. They're a rule. They're really good.
1:41Mike Minogue:I know, but we got a packet of them the other day. We've had this yarn, haven't we? We have. Because when I was living on Waike, we were having this yarn.
1:47Keyzie:That was such a letdown. I was so good because I had a few of them and then I pegged them. I put a peg on it. Sure, how long does that last? You're bigger to pegging, eh? And it lasted about 10 minutes. and then I ate the entire packet. Yeah, that's good. That's about right. Pugs, just quickly, what's pegging? Do you want to know? It's when your female partner.
2:09Mike Minogue:Yeah, what is it, Pugs?
2:10Keyzie:Or male. Hang on, it Pugs. Can do that. Okay, here he goes. He's a resident pegging.
2:14Mike Minogue:My understanding is it's when the lady wears a false phallus and uses that to penetrate her male partner. Right, that's pegging. Have you done that, Pugs? Pugs. Yeah. Have you done that? Pugs? One more time. Have you been pegged before? Sorry, what was that? Yeah, okay. See, he's been KG on it.
2:39Keyzie:But, yeah, pegging. So you did that to your bagger. Pop it? You did that to Papa Jack. I did, yeah. Who's Papa Jack again?
2:49Mike Minogue:He's your sugar daddy, yeah.
2:51Keyzie:I don't think you've ever met him. And you pegged him? Yeah, well, I did. I did. You couldn't resist going back for more than that. And then I went back and ate the whole packet. You're a sick master. You always had me. Yeah. What did you have for your bachelor's night? Dinner there, Keezy? What do you think I had? Pizza?
3:10Mike Minogue:Yeah. Yeah. How much pizza?
3:12Keyzie:Ham and pineapple? No. Did you have a couple of brewskis?
3:15Mike Minogue:I had a couple of brewskis, mogi, and I had a half-cell pizza, pepperoni, just a half one. Wow, flash guy. Yeah. That's my favourite food.
3:23Keyzie:But Sal's is huge. Yeah, a half one. Yeah, but they're massive. So a half Sal's pizza is like eight normal pizzas.
3:34Mike Minogue:Fuck off. You're so full of it. It's like one hell pizza or something. In fact, I'd say it's less than one hell pizza. Sure, sure, sure, sure. But I had a voucher for an extra slice. Oh, extra slice, boy. So I actually had five slices.
3:46Keyzie:Voucher boy. Just because I got a voucher.
3:49Mike Minogue:And we all got one when we did the comedy festival.
3:52Keyzie:Did we? I don't recall getting a voucher. And you've said it for this long. It's been fucking years. It's been on the fridge. Oh, on the fridge. On the magnets there. Fair enough. When we were down in Wellington, I was waiting to have a pizza party with the fellows after the live show. Oh, yeah. Did you show up? You did show up, but I went to sales next door. It was only a couple of things down, and I got a slice of sales. What was it? Couldn't get through it. It was so massive. You're a fucking baby, man.
4:17Mike Minogue:Yeah, you are. That's such a yarn, man. Okay, we should, obviously, Reburger. Oh, we love Reburger. But how many Sal slices do you reckon you could eat?
4:27Keyzie:Seriously, probably about three. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, yeah. 100%. That's 100 % correct. Because they are stupidly big.
4:34Mike Minogue:I love them so much. Sal's got a big one. I love - Do you pig Sal? Yeah, I pig Sal. It's a real guy. Then I go back for more. It's short for Sally. Yeah, Sally.
4:45Keyzie:Why are you pigging Sally?
4:47Mike Minogue:No, she pigs her. Seriously. Oh, she pigs you. Well, that makes sense. Totally. And she's huge. like eight times the size of a regular person. But seriously.
4:57Keyzie:What her fake fella says. The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. The Hauraki Big Show podcast.
5:08Mike Minogue:Three slices is probably the perfect amount, right, for anyone? Probably. But I eat four and to be honest, I prefer five. Yeah. Five is my like perfect amount. Yeah. And the key is to eat it before you know your fault. A little bit of pizza, a little bit of Coca-Cola with your pizza. Nah, beer. Beers, right? Yeah. Which is a weird mixture.
5:29Keyzie:I had cells a little while back in New Lynn there, and it was so oily, it made me feel sick. Got anything good to say, man? Made me feel nauseous. Yeah, poor old Woody just bought.
5:43Mike Minogue:In actual fact, I like this because it's something that I really like, and Jase has once again found a way to talk about it being shit. Yeah.
5:51Keyzie:Every time. It might have just been this one particular slice of pizza. We don't know, but you haven't gone back, have you? Well, I did. Just put your ride off. And the piece that I bought in Wellington was beautiful. I love that you went and bought one piece. Well, I don't eat more than one piece in that scenario. It's the right amount, isn't it? Yeah.
6:08Mike Minogue:Do you often eat a piece? For fuck's sake. Do you put a piece on your pillow? Is a piece one piece? And then roll over in the middle of the night, you're like, ah. Did you end up doing that last night? Yeah, I did. I was talking about this. How many beers did you have? Two. It's pretty good. It's midweek and I've got a stag do this weekend, which is by a lot of the messages I'm reading, she's going to be all go. Yeah. So I was like, let's not have midweek beers. Do you only know one person there? No, I know about, so I know one person really well. He's my best mate down in Christchurch there who I go and have a hot tub with.
6:43Yeah.
6:44Mike Minogue:Who I'm having an affair with. You might as well insert that before Chase does. Before Chase can. And I'm banging him on the side. And then I've also got pugs. You're not pegging them, though.
6:52Keyzie:You're using your actual dude.
6:56Mike Minogue:Yeah, I have a penis, so I just use that. Did you hear that, pugs? Can you clip that off, pugs?
7:05Mike Minogue:No, this is the podcast. It's different. Yeah, it is. It's different, man. Of course it is. So I know one guy really well. Another bloke I know pretty damn well, too, because he's married to one of Lucy's cousins and obviously the stag. Outside of that, a couple of boys I've met a few times. Oh, that's he. Goodfellas. Yeah. but like how many are there I think there's about 20 people right Jesus that's a massive is that a big stag do it is a big stag do and it's for two nights two whole days I can't fucking wait but by and large I don't know the group like I don't know yeah so I'm fizzed up for that sweet man do you reckon there's gonna be heaps of Keezy chat nah I don't think so no hope not there will be oh I'll be I'll be the one doing it yeah you're bringing it up have you guys heard of the ditch season one what It's just funny, dude.
7:51Mike Minogue:It's just funny. It's just funny. The issue I have with that reference, right, is I'm pretty sure no one fucking watched it. Hey, hey, hey. But it's funny to us. Yeah, yeah, that's what's most important.
8:03Keyzie:I think you'll find that was programmed into old hoity J's every time it was on. I do remember you saying it lying and telling Kezi you were going to watch it.
8:11Mike Minogue:Yeah, it sounds about right. It was so good. I was gutted about that. So this is Jase This is Jase 101

Yeah, well, exactly. Keep that in mind, fellas. Yeah, totally. What else, guys?
8:51As soon as you said what else. I'm ready for some time off, I've got to say. My brain was like, oh, do I? I had an audition today, remember?
8:58Mike Minogue:Oh, yeah. We'll talk about it on the show. Was that a humiliator? It was the least humiliating. Oh, that's good. But I found a way to humiliate myself. Good. Perfect. So I think we'll talk about it after five or something. I'll tell you genuinely how it went and get some advice. and then maybe we'll do something after that. But fuck, I hate it. Every time I walk out and I just go, why am I auditioning? That's how you know you're doing a good job. Right, because all my other instincts were like you were doing a shit job. Well, Jase has had heaps of successful auditions, haven't you, Jase? I have.
9:29I've had a few. Yes. And you always feel the same. You do. You hate yourself. You fucked it.
9:33Keyzie:And as I was just saying to Keezy, you do your best, you get in there, you give it a shot, and then you forget about it. All right? Just walk out, walk away. And the thing about it is they've probably seen a lot worse that day. Yeah, probably.
9:45Mike Minogue:Yeah, yeah, yeah, right. Wow. It was pretty early in the day. But like, it was. But I walked out, I didn't even give my best. Like I just, I'll tell you on the show, but I just, if I could redo it right now, I reckon I'd be able to, I'd probably fuck it up again. Yeah, probably. But yeah, Jase, you're my agent, right? So I'm just letting you know that. It didn't go very well. You might not get any commission on that one.
10:11Keyzie:No, they called me and said you were shit.
10:14Mike Minogue:What was the person's name again? What was his name? You got a mouthful of shumai. Hey, listen to The Big Show, 4-7, weekdays, Radio Hodaki. Thank you.
