In short
A comedic “OUTRO” segment from The Hauraki Big Show where the hosts banter about headaches and home remedies, gym/fitness progress (“winter coat”), and especially their chest/“buzzie” physiques, including nudity and bedroom-curtain fantasies. They also swap stories about hot pot—comparing self-serve/buffet style vs other experiences—and pepper/chili burn.
Guests
Backbone, Pugs (Pugzone), and Jase (Jason/“Jase”); no outside guests mentioned.
Key claims
Pugs treats a mild headache with a “trammy up the nuss”/Vicks Vaporub analogy; Jase says he’s never been fitter due to more walking; both discuss how their wives react to their nudity; hot pot is “bloody good,” and pepper burn differs from chili burn.
Notable examples
“Curtains” and a proposed four-poster canopy; self-serve hot pot where you pick broth and cook yourself; a story of a stranger recognizing the hot pot place.

For all you mad bastards loving the Big Show podcast, get up even closer on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. Or raw dog it, four to seven every weekday on Radio Hoda Aircast. Oh, g'day fellas. Backbone. Hello. How we going team?
0:30Mike Minogue:I've got a headache.
0:31Keyzie:Yeah, I saw you pumping a couple of panties.
0:33Mike Minogue:Yeah, I was pumping. He's pumping the panties.
0:36Keyzie:Pumping the panties. And then when I went into the toilet before to do wheeze, Pugs, you won't know this, he was getting the old trammy up the nuss. He was putting a couple of trammies up the nuss. Best absorption.
0:50Mike Minogue:What I like to do is, you know the United States in the 1800s where they had the two railways meeting in between and it was a race to see who could finish first. Yeah. I put the pammies upstairs and then I shelved the trammies and then it's like a race to see who can fix me first. And then you meet in the middle and shake hands. Your middle gets all sort of squishy in the middle. Yeah, and then I rub Vic's Vaporub on my middle. Yeah, nice. Yeah. And that's how I treat a mild headache. What have you been doing, pugs, with your vest on, man? Yes, cool vest, man.
1:21Jason Hoyte:Thanks, guys. It's been a long day today. Really? You been working? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, well, I popped in a bit earlier today just to do my other bits and pieces, as we know. And, yeah, I mean, I got a couple of things done pretty early on. So I've just sort of been, like, finding stuff.
1:39Keyzie:He's been pretending to be busy for the rest of the time.
1:42Jason Hoyte:I went to the gym because I feel like I've got a bit of a winter coat scenario happening at the moment. I'm getting a bit busy, too. I didn't say I was getting busy, but all good. I mean, just until...
1:55Keyzie:You didn't say that once. It's actually
1:57Jason Hoyte:You said I got a bit of a winter coat
1:58Keyzie:Well I was just Yeah Thanks I was just saying Matt You know That I'm getting some winter buzies Which is surprising Just take the two off at the end of it See Jason's getting buzies too Oh I wasn't referring to your buzies Way too late They're substantial Oh thank you You've got a huge chef
2:18Mike Minogue:It was just all the training I did for the non-bench press competition This is a weird question right Yeah sure Let's just front foot this right That's a weird question Who do you think out of you two Could make the most attractive looking set of buzzies Well me I think You reckon you could Just my car and stuff
2:35Jason Hoyte:Yeah because I've got like the more like youthful plump skin You know what I mean
2:40Mike Minogue:Right so you think Jase would have a couple of nice tigers
2:42Jason Hoyte:I got my hot tattoo there as well
2:44Keyzie:You need to clarify what you So You mean nice buzzies You mean like pecs
2:51Jason Hoyte:Who could get Keezy's engine going the quickest if you and I had a bra on.
2:55Mike Minogue:Let me explain what I'm picturing. I have no interest in that, bitch. And I said this is weird, but here's the situation. We've got a curtain. It's not weird. The curtain's up, and the curtain has two spaces in it cut out for where a chest height, and I will pull back the little curtain bits to reveal just a set of buzzies and a bra, and I'll pull back one on the right, have a look, okay, close that, one on the left, and both are, you know, it's you two, and like which of you two do you think could make the most attractive looking pair of buzzies for me? Genuinely,
3:26Jason Hoyte:sometimes when I'm lying down and I'm like on my side, I'm like, holy, look at that thing, man. You get a rage at. Well, you got to turn yourself on, you know.
3:34Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. The Hauraki Big Show podcast. What do you reckon, Jase? Do you reckon you'd scrub up pretty nice in the buzzy department? I see it.
3:49Keyzie:We're a corset. Frankly, is there anything more unappealing than a man's buzies?
3:56Jason Hoyte:Well, it depends on your cup of tea.
3:58Keyzie:Well, I mean, look, everyone, each to their own.
4:01Mike Minogue:I don't mind buzies where they're coming from.
4:03Keyzie:I've always had a heavy chest.
4:06Mike Minogue:Yeah, you're very gifted in that regard.
4:08Keyzie:You know, I've got that weird sort of triangular-shaped body.
4:12Mike Minogue:You developed quite early, though, didn't you? I diminish. He was a tough little bastard, though.
4:16Keyzie:I diminish from the top down. Yeah, what's it? Well, in some respects.
4:22Mike Minogue:So when they were designing you, they thought, okay, we'll start up here with the honker, obviously, which is huge. And then they kind of gave up halfway down. And I've got a massive head. Yeah. Then they gave up halfway down. Ah, fuck it. Just fill in the rest.
4:34Jason Hoyte:The triangle shape's kind of reversed with your honker. You know what I mean? It's sort of like point up. Hugs. Actually, this is a point. And it flares out of the bottom. Hello.
4:40Keyzie:In my defense, re my lower half, that's because I had osteomyelitis as a kid and spent a long time in hospital. Okay, well, way to bring the mood down, man. Nobody asked. I'm just pointing out the facts, man. Okay, cool.
4:53Mike Minogue:So you had osteomyelitis. On your legs and elephantitis. In my legs, yes. Elephantitis of the penis and scrotum. Wow.
5:00Jason Hoyte:You missed it in honkers. The double itis, no.
5:03Keyzie:That wasn't anything to do with any kind of itis, Keezy. That was just all implants. It was just what happened. Corrective surgery.
5:12Mike Minogue:Question. Pug's making honker jokes when he's got a tiny nose. How do you feel about that?
5:18Keyzie:I don't care, man. You're all G with it? I don't even listen to what Pug says anymore.
5:22Mike Minogue:Because I would never make a buzies joke because I don't have buzies. You know what I mean? Hang on, sorry. You've just set up a whole scenario about our tits. An elaborate scenario, yeah. An elaborate scenario, but not at one point have I ever said, As somebody with no tits. Buzies, you know what I mean? Or like pointed them out and, you know? Yeah, but you've got your nips, though. Yeah. Yeah, 100%.
5:41Keyzie:Which, I mean, you don't want them spread out any more than they are at the moment.

5:47Mike Minogue:Should we do like a big show spread Where it's all of us With our weird upper chest situation I mean I don't even think mine's weird I don't know why Well it is pretty weird Yeah it's a bit weird We need Mogi to have like Tiny little raisin nips Well he just said he did He actually does We've seen them They're quite small
6:04Jason Hoyte:Yeah they're petite But like really small Mine are quite large Okay Stretching off the skin there Muscle growth
6:12Mike Minogue:But so do you reckon it would be you Or Pugs in terms of the All I'm saying is I'd put money on
6:17Keyzie:If I could get back to my original point, is that, you know, I'm putting on a bit of winter coat, as Pugsone put it. You almost said as well there. You almost did. But actually, I'm not. But it's surprising given that the amount of walking I do now. Seriously, I'm not joking when I say I have never been fitter in my life than I am right now. Like when I used to walk up this hill to get to work, I'd be huffing and puffing like a bastard.
6:49Mike Minogue:Huffing and puffing and everything.
6:50Keyzie:Now I just power up it and it's not even an issue. But I think I need to sort of get back to my planking and my press-ups and all that stuff because that actually works really well and I'll just tighten.
7:06Jason Hoyte:I don't mind having buzzies. But are you able to get like a full range of motion when you do a press-up if your buzzies are hitting the ground before the rest of you?
7:14Mike Minogue:Come on, man. He used to do the female ones. On his knees there. Come on, Pudge. And also, they're not female ones. Jase, you might be naturally meant to be big and stocky in the chest area. You might have quite a big rib cage. Genetics. My genetics is I actually do have quite a big middle frame part. It's actually quite big naturally. So no matter how skinny or scrawny I get, this part's always quite big.
7:41Keyzie:Yeah, I'm never going to have a mogi build.
7:44Mike Minogue:No, because he's big and tall and ganglion. I think you are meant to be quite voluptuous in the chest area.
7:50Keyzie:Voluptuous?
7:53Mike Minogue:Regardless of how fit you are.
7:55Keyzie:What the fuck is that, man? Voluptuous? Well, I just pictured you in the corset again. It's not voluptuous, but with lumps.
7:59Mike Minogue:Yeah. Okay. So I think you are just naturally always going to have a set of pecs, you know?
8:04Keyzie:Yeah, look, I am, but I just, all I'm saying is, and as I say, I don't mind them. I don't mind them in their current form. What does your wife think? Oh look she loves my body Fellas
8:19Mike Minogue:Sweet Yeah that's great If you're standing there nude Does your wife go Here he is Hello Um Yes She does Yes My wife does as well Yeah yeah she does She goes oh yeah Here we go Yeah yeah I'm really happy to see you go Oh my god I'm just saying what my wife says She makes that noise
8:41Keyzie:Does she like a It's weird Xena warrior princess War cry
8:47Mike Minogue:It was that, yeah, it's based on that
8:49Keyzie:Um, hello
8:50Mike Minogue:There he is Now we're talking I've actually gotten better recently at that Your whole nudity thing I'm glad to hear that, man Like, I'm way better at it now I said to my wife Look at my downstairs
9:05Keyzie:There it is
9:08Mike Minogue:Early on, man
9:09Keyzie:I said to my wife, man, we've got this great apartment and it's very cool. We should feel totally free to walk around nude in it. You've got those big windows. Doesn't your daughter live with you? Well, yeah, she does, but she's out a lot of the time. You've got the big windows, though. Yeah, but you have the curtains closed, Keezy.
9:25Mike Minogue:But you don't have curtains on those. Oh, your curtains.
9:28Keyzie:Yeah, but also there's curtains. There's also curtains in the lounge, man. There are? Yes. Okay.
9:37Mike Minogue:Really? I don't remember that. That must be massive.
9:39Keyzie:How tall is that window? All the curtains in our place are huge because the windows are huge.
9:45Mike Minogue:It would be, what, the height of this, which is about four metres, five metres? More than that, probably. Fucking huge curtains. How do you clean that window?
9:52Keyzie:Because when I was there, it was filthy. Well, it's not up to us to clean the windows because we can't.
10:00Jason Hoyte:You've got a guy for that.
10:02Keyzie:But I said to my wife, actually, when we first moved in, imagine if we fucked these curtains. What are we going to do about that? because to replace them would be, like my wife can make curtains. You can get cheap curtains now. Yeah, but they're fucking huge. And when we're in our bed, it's like you're a king and a queen. And no, that's not a scenario we've played out because it's like you feel like you're in this. You know what you could do with those curtains?
10:30Mike Minogue:We need a canopy over the bed. A big canopy is exactly what you need. You need a four-poster with a canopy. But you know how there's gymnastics and stuff that hang from those long curtains and do like flips and shit while wrapped up in the curtain? You could probably do that on those curtains. Should we do it? Probably. We should do it.
10:45Keyzie:I just want to lose a bit of weight off my buzies before I try and do that because I might pull the whole thing down. Buzies first. A bit croaky.
10:52Mike Minogue:Are you? Do you want a vocal zone?
10:54Keyzie:No.
10:55Mike Minogue:I gave you one of those once and you're like, ooh, there's a yuck. It's like, yeah, it's like really intense to fix your throat.
11:00Keyzie:Oh my God, fellas. I had my green pepper hot pot last night. Couldn't feel my face at the end of it. See, pepper burn is very different to chili burn. Yeah, I agree. Yeah. Stop saying otherwise. I'm misleading everyone on the pepper front.
11:18Jason Hoyte:Again.
11:20Mike Minogue:Bloody good. Hey, guys, newsflash. Jase enjoyed this hot pot.
11:26Keyzie:And funnily enough, when I was going up to get some extra chili oil, This dude came up to me and he went, hoity J, how funny you're here. We were trying to find the hot pot place you were talking about. It's bloody good. And he knew that it was there. That was the one he went to with his partner. And they were there when we arrived. And he was very excited by it.
11:48Jason Hoyte:I was very excited when you told me you were going to get a hot pot. But then I learned that it's a different experience. Because when I went to get a hot pot, it was a self-serve scenario. It's like a buffet and you pick your broth and then you cook everything yourself. I feel like that's part of the experience.
12:02Keyzie:Your self-server's always a buffet, isn't it, Pugzone? What? When you're self-serving, it's a buffet. Yeah, take your pick.
12:10Mike Minogue:Is that like a wanking joke? Yeah, yeah. I can't figure out what that means.
12:13Keyzie:Jacking off.
12:14Jason Hoyte:Yeah, it's good.
12:15Mike Minogue:You love broth. We should start calling you the broth creeper. That's really good, actually.
12:20Keyzie:Just end it, will you?
12:22Mike Minogue:End it all.
12:23Jason Hoyte:Listen to The Big Show 47 weekdays. I'm ready. Oh, I'll keep.
12:26Mike Minogue:Bye. Thanks, bye.
