In short
The hosts riff on a “mystery waitress” band T-shirt featuring crude “buzies,” then pivot to wardrobe clutter, station-food cravings (lasagna toppers, nuggets), sauces, and weekend plans to walk Rangitoto (with a DOC worker staying over).
Guests
No formal guests; it’s a banter segment among Jason, Keezy, and Kesey (co-hosts).
Key claims
Jason found the “mystery waitress” shirt while cleaning/packing; he says he “stole it” from a daughter and never wore it. He hid the shirt’s “buzies” from a petrol-station worker.
Notable examples
The shirt’s doodle-style nude woman/bushes and question mark; a separate “massive cock” doodle T-shirt; Rangitoto cabins allegedly shut down after being booked six months ahead.

0:20Mike Minogue:Where'd you get that from? You sicko. My wardrobe. It's got a lady sitting on the ground crossing her legs. She's in the nude. She's got her hand on a small, what could be an anthill. And on the other side is a tree. There's a tree growing on either side of her. Well, a shrub. Well, I suppose they're two small trees. Let's say a bush. Let's say it's a plant. It's a couple of plants here coming out of the earth. And then she's holding a dish. And above the dish is a question mark. And the writing underneath it says mystery waitress. Very confusing. But she's serving up a couple of them there buzzies.
1:03Is that what's on the menu, Jase?
1:04Mike Minogue:Am I right? Is that why you got it, man? Because she's serving up a couple of them there buzzies? Sorry, Jase.
1:10Keyzie:She's serving up a couple of them there buzzies. To be honest with you, this is what happened this morning. My wife, we were lying in bed and my wife said to me, when are you going to do your side of the wardrobe? As in clean it out and pack it up. And I went, oh, today I suppose. And so I was going through all my T-shirts and stuff, and this was in there. I do believe it actually belonged to one of my daughters. Right. Yeah. And that I stole it. Yeah, and never wore it. But it was that classic thing of going through all this shit and going, oh, that's where that is. Oh, that's where that is. In your wardrobe.
1:52Keyzie:In your wardrobe. Where all the rest of the clothes are. Yeah, but I've got like cubicles, and they're just all stuffed in there. I don't fold them like Kesey and Iron. Do you not have them on a hanger? I have all my T-shirts hanging on clothes hangers. No. Just because it makes it easier to find them. No.
2:08Mike Minogue:I tried to do that, but I've got so much stuff hanging up that I don't have enough space. Same. I'm the same. Do you share a wardrobe with your wife? Yes. I use the one in the spare room. Yes, the one in the spare room is full of all sorts of crap. All sorts of shit. All sorts of junk. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
2:21Keyzie:Crap. Yes, no. Well, it's kind of divvy. it's naturally set apart, our wardrobe. You've got to walk in, eh? No, not a walk in, no. Don't you? Well, I suppose in a way it is kind of a walk in. You can walk in. You open up the... Yeah, you open up and do you walk in? No. Has it got collapsing sort of bifold doors? Is that what you've got on there? No. Oh, just doors. Sliding. Sliding? Sliding. Nice. Yeah, yeah.
2:44Mike Minogue:Rich guy. I feel like that shirt, I feel like it should say like, Buzzi's. It's what's for dinner. or something like that, you know what I mean?
2:54Keyzie:Or you can eat. Keezy, how old are you, man? They're just buzzies, all right? I know you get, you should have seen how, the look on his face when he saw the buzzies. Oh, yeah, aruga, aruga. Yeah, he was like, hello. Eyes to the front.
3:10Mike Minogue:Well, it's not often your co-worker works in wearing a buzzie shirt. That's true. Very rare. Yeah, well, I imagine you'll be facing some kind of a harassment charge.
3:22Keyzie:Funny you should say that because I stopped at the petrol station on the way in and there was a woman serving behind the counter and I rather self-consciously covered the buzzies with my arm. You were like, you got your thumb and forefinger together on each of your hands and then you were just. Were you tweaking them? You were tweaking them. Tweaking the dial. I wasn't tweaking my buzzies on my shirt. I was hiding the buzzies from the lady serving me because I thought, oh, she might find them offensive. I mean, and they're not in your face, buzies
3:55Mike Minogue:Can I also just say that it's a very crude drawing of a woman with buzies It's not like a really high definition, realistic set of buzies
4:04Keyzie:Well, I mean, I know you like high def buzies, Kesey It's not a high def version of your face either, is it? No, it's just a It's more of a scribble
4:14Mike Minogue:People might be picturing Jase wearing just a full-blown naked woman shirt with her buzies out No, it's more of a It's not as much detail as you'd like, that's for sure
4:21Keyzie:It's a sketch more than anything else.
4:23Mike Minogue:Yeah, it's like a doodle. Yeah, it's a doodle. It's not a doodle. It's a couple of buzies. No, no, someone's doodled some buzies.
4:30Keyzie:Well, funny you should say that because I found my doodle T-shirt as well. Oh, yeah. And it's just a T-shirt with a massive cock on it.
4:39Mike Minogue:Is that one high def or pretty crazy? It's pretty high def, all right. Yeah, nice, man. The Hauraki Beach Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. The Hauraki Big Show Podcast It sounds like, and Pugs probably knows this, he's probably seen them eight times but Mystery Waitress is a band Oh, is that what it is?
5:00Keyzie:I think literally that one of my girls saw them over in Australia and bought their t-shirt Ah, there you go Yeah I don't know if they're Australian but I think she saw them in Australia Sure Yeah, well it's a nice shirt man Thanks man Good work What are you running with there, Keezy? Can I just say, Jase, as well, a T-shirt is what you should be wearing. Yeah. Unbelievable. I was saying to... Look at those guns, man. Keezy on the way down to the sushi shop, I need to lose a bit of weight on the buzies. Not on the buzies I'm wearing, but on my own buzies. Oh, yeah, sure. Yeah, the ones underneath those buzies.
5:37Yeah, well, you've got to stop eating so much. Yeah, I know. Eat like an animal.
5:40Keyzie:Well, just, you know, when I went into the service station, and I bought a lasagna topper. You lucky so-and-so. That's completely unnecessary. I didn't need it. No. But I ate it anyway. It was bloody good. Yummy, though. Oily and sort of - So fucking good. I've never - I had one when I was at school, and I hate it. I haven't had one since.
5:59Mike Minogue:Lasagna toppers rule, man. Yeah, I - Maybe I'm going to have to go back to it.
6:02Keyzie:I get a weird craving for them every now and then. Not often, but every now and then. I go, oh, a topper would be a crunchy, mincey kind of goodness.
6:10Mike Minogue:And if they're cooked well - What else is in it? I don't know, like mints, a bit of cream cheesy stuff. Oh, that sounds nice. It is pretty. The one I had. Chicken cordon bleu pugs? Yeah, because that's always the decision you have to make because there's the lasagna topper and the chicken cordon bleu topper next to each other in the warm water. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'd recommend the lasagna one first and then cordon second. All right, I'll give that a go.
6:33Keyzie:I nearly went for the sort of kesey chicken bites. You know how they got the little cube? The Louisiana, oh, those, yeah, the pepist bites. Yeah, and I was like, oh, I can't. I prefer Louisiana tender myself. What? The Louisiana tender. The tender. That's a bigger one. Yeah, it's a bigger one, yeah. Same. I've had my fair share of the southern style bites. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
6:54Mike Minogue:They just don't cook them long enough. The ones in the cabinet of a gas station are just soft. They should be 100 % like a station. Oh, you mean the outside should be crispy? They should be crispy, and they're soft and gross. Do you guys like nuggets? But I think they get nuked, right? Nuggets. Yeah, I think they do get nuked. I do like nuggets. Yeah, it's a tragedy. Yeah, they are. Fucking yum, though. Oh, they're so good. They're delicious. Yeah, what do they put in there?
7:21Keyzie:What sauce do you run with with your nuggies? I've always been a sweet and sour sauce guy. Always have been. I don't hate barbecue sauce on anything. Yeah, it's interesting. It's an abomination.
7:30Mike Minogue:Ah, big sweet and sour sauce guy as well. What's the other one? Do they have another one? There's tomato, obviously. There's like a plum one.
7:36Keyzie:Is there a kind of mustardy one? A couple of them are plums. Yeah, there's a honey mustard. Honey mustard, yeah. Have you tried that?
7:43Mike Minogue:You're a psycho if you get that. I just like Heinz ketchup. Heinz ketchup is the best tea sauce. No, I don't like that. Waddy's tea sauce sucks.
7:51Keyzie:No, I'm Waddy's all the way there, Keasy.
7:53Mike Minogue:No, Heinz, man, all the way. Ketchup. What's happening for the weekend? Walking Rangitoto tomorrow. Rangitoto. You're taking the baby with you? Yeah. That's a real fucking tourist move, that one. What do you mean? Going to Rangitoto. Is it? Yeah, well, it is. Is that why you're doing it? Because you've got your people with you. Yeah, and Laura, one of the ones that's staying with us, she works for part of the government thing, DOC, I guess, in charge of getting rid of pests and stuff. And she spent a lot of time out in the other islands helping do all sorts of stuff, but she's never climbed Rangitoto.
8:28Keyzie:I'll tell you the other thing about Rangitoto as well is that they've got cabins there that you can book and you go and stay on the island for a night or two. And my wife and I went, oh, let's do that. That'll be fun. But they're like booked six months in advance. Wow. And then we found out they've stopped doing that now. They've shut them down. Why is that? I don't know.
8:53Mike Minogue:People getting steamed there or something. Probably. Yeah.
8:55Keyzie:You know?
8:56Mike Minogue:Well, I mean, you get there, and I think it only takes like an hour to get up the top. Does it really? It's really easy, yeah. Let's walk up. And then there's a beach there, so we're just going to park up, go for a walk, come back, go for a swim, ferry back. Too easy. How often do the ferries go? I don't know, every two hours? We don't know. We just don't know. Well, we do know every two hours. That'll be a good one.
9:12Keyzie:I might do that in a couple of weeks maybe. That'll be good.
9:15Mike Minogue:Not tomorrow though because we're going to be there. That'll be really awkward, especially if you've got your buzzy shirt on.
9:19Keyzie:Yeah.

9:19Mike Minogue:Because they'll be like, who's the guy in the buzzy shirt? And I'll be like, that's my coworker.
9:23Keyzie:Kesey will be walking beside me with a rager. It would be pretty embarrassing. Just following Jason around with a wager
9:30Mike Minogue:because he's got some poorly drawn buzies on his shirt.
9:35Keyzie:I mean, if I was to draw buzies, this is probably how I draw them. I'm not very good at drawing. It is pretty good, man.
9:40Mike Minogue:I'll probably draw them way bigger than that, like huge ones. What a surprise, Keezy. Nah, I'm just joking around, man. Just having a bit of fun, Jason.
9:51Keyzie:Selfie bastard.
9:52Mike Minogue:Hey, listen to The Big Show, 4 to 7 weekdays, Radio Hodaki.
