0:00For all you mad bastards loving the Big Show podcast, get up even closer on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok or 4 to 7 every weekday on Radio Hode Ake. Jason's sick, alright?

0:17Mike Minogue:He's not here. So don't fucking ask where he is, alright? He's sick. What's the plan for the radio? Are we just going to do heaps of Hoyte J's highlights? What we'll do is we'll do a Hoyte J best off special. Yeah. Should we do that? And then we'll read a few things out about the music jury. Yes. What else we got? And then Pugs has got some content.

0:36Jason Hoyte:I'll do some Bear and Pie July chat. July. July. And then there's some beers, like those beers. But that's the Day Trippers, but that's done and dusted now. That's done, man. We can't talk about that. We can't talk about that. Oh, shit. So it's going to be all filler, no killer today. Is that the idea? No, that's incorrect. It's going to be 100 % shit out.

0:55Mike Minogue:Pugs, we're going to start the show with putting together a care package for Jase. What he jizz. And we'll get the audience to suggest what should be in that care package. And I think that'll be great content. He must be pretty crook because he was doing, he was doing, he was shitting. He had diarrhea and was taking dumps on the carpet in his house, which is pretty. Is that true? It's not good. Usually he just has the wet patch there

1:17Jason Hoyte:that he leaves. Yes, that's right. But this time it's just sharp puddles. We're going to get into that more, obviously. Jase has fed some content into our chat, but this fucking dog that he's looking after. I could not believe that. Your reaction was my reaction in Studio B. I was like, there's no fucking way. The thing is, guys. I guess the thing is, if it's a one-off, great. If it's going to happen every day and it's also going to be shitting everywhere, fucking get that dog out of my house, man.

1:44Mike Minogue:Absolutely not. Listen, fellas, the thing is, we've known Horty J for a while now. Horty J is. And this is very much in keeping with the way he runs his shit. Like, literally, just as he gets everything sorted out in his life, shitting dog. comes in. You know what I mean? Well, to be fair to him, he knew nothing about it. 100%. His missus has done. And I do believe that he wouldn't have, it is one of those things where she would have gone, oh yeah, it'll be great. I think so yesterday. It was a bit reluctant to go, you know.

2:12Jason Hoyte:But also the way that it was handled with the wet patch, I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't as clear to who organised bringing the dog in how bad the dog was going to be as far as sharting.

2:25Mike Minogue:Do you want a dog sit for us? Yeah, sure. What kind of dog is it? Oh, Lab? Oh, yeah, sweet. That's probably the extent of it. If the dog's not up to it, then you wouldn't even be offering it up. So you'd assume if somebody's asking you. You don't even assume. You just. No. It's taken as given that it's not a complete fucking derelict heap of shit. This is what I don't understand or relate to. I love dogs. Because. So do I, but fuck that. Growing up, my dog, and still at my parents' house, the dog has a kennel outside and spends all day outside. and then at night has a little mattress that they put in the corner by the fire that comes and sits on that and then fucks off outside again for sleepy time.

3:01Yeah.

3:02Mike Minogue:So I don't understand this keeping up. House sitting a dog, look after a dog and it being in your house shitting everywhere. I'd be like, we don't care because it's outside. It's all good. I mean, I'm all about inside dogs pretty much depending on the dog and how much they stink. But the only time you want to look after a dog that is pissing and shitting everywhere is when it's your dog, when you've had the good times. Do you know what I mean? when you've experienced the good time of the dog being a puppy and all the way through, and now it's like Tinker. And like Jace's dog. Rude. You cannot have just dropping it off for the bad times.

3:37Mike Minogue:Well, hang on. Pugs did that. He literally got a cat that was on its deathbed. Yeah, I know.

3:42Jason Hoyte:Yeah, and ended up getting off the deathbed for about two more years than what was predicted. But it's still a massive ball, eh? Yeah, so you've come in. He had cat cancer. It didn't affect us at all. Whereabouts was it? Huh? Whereabouts was it? Cancer. People kept on leaving the door open, man. Yeah. I remember that. Not me. Not me, Mogi. It was your roommates or the mates who visited or something from memory. It was. Yeah, yeah. It was a few years ago there. Yeah, it was. So it wasn't allowed to go outside? Because of the cat cancer. Oh, and so because of the cat cancer, why can't it go outside?

4:14Jason Hoyte:Because it's more vulnerable to autoimmune. Right, so if it gets a scratch or something. That's right. Easier for infection. Yeah. I also dog sat on the weekend and one of the dogs, I love both the dogs, one of them was psychotic. Massive big golden retriever, beautiful, beautiful dog. But when a dog that big is being rough or playing, it affects you far more. So I shut the bedroom door for like maybe a few minutes and then opened it and it had got – and it could tell which – How old? Maybe a year and a half, two. Yeah, okay. And it could tell which of the products of makeup were my partner's and which were its mother's who was away.

4:57Jason Hoyte:And it had gotten one of my partner's products and just punctured through it, took it through the house. So good. Did you kick the shit out of it, man? Because if you had a hoity jaydog, you wouldn't need to. It would just shit anywhere. Yeah, true. You know? Yeah, yeah. Did you, though? Did I kick it? Not at that time, no.

5:16Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show Weekdays from 4 On Radio Hauraki The Hauraki Big Show Podcast I'm never going to get a dog out of there Good on you man I love dogs No it's just a pain in the arse I would love to get a dog So like That definitely showed me That I'm not ready for it If I have a dog right now Well what am I doing The dog's at home Is that all G? You just leave it at home? Yep Okay that's not too bad then You have to But if I go away on holiday What happens? Daycare I'll take it with you fucking daycare kennels or drop it off at your mate's house to shard all over the place to be honest I would get a dog now because I'm mates with Hoity J and I know that I can ask his partner yeah yeah yeah and she won't even check with him slide into her DMs feed it some laxatives and drop it off yeah oh that'd be good that would be pretty funny actually wouldn't it yeah he's gonna have some stories when he gets back that's for sure I think he might be off for a while really reckon yeah surely just tomorrow tomorrow and the the weekend you reckon Because he's a backbone, man.

6:15Mike Minogue:He always comes in. Rain, hail, or shine. Hoardy J will be there. That's not true. Yeah, I don't know. We'll see. He's not getting any younger, man. I'm worried for him. Really? You think he's going to die? I think he might die. Wow, did you just fire the music off? That's seven minutes. Six and a half minutes in because you turned it on 30 seconds early. You serious?

6:34Jason Hoyte:What? I've got seven minutes. Wait, you want it off?

6:36Mike Minogue:Seven minutes. It goes for ten, man. Oh, my God.

6:38Jason Hoyte:Jesus Christ. Are you guys all good? Are you over this type of music? Look at your faces like smacked arses. You're a disgrace. It's just insulting. It's a three minutes long. It's insulting. How long have you been doing this fucking show? It's insulting, man. Fuck you. It's insulting. That's a real slap in the face in terms of, as soon as we start talking about stuff where Hoity J is dying, you're like, oh, fuck this. Let's turn it off. Yeah, I'm like, this is shit, shit. The guy's dying and you're like, ugh. I'm like, wrap it up. Wrap it up. What was the thought process there, man? Just out of interest.

7:07Jason Hoyte:It got to seven minutes and I was looking at that clock where it's nearly eight minutes. and then the bed itself is three minutes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Fuck you. Anyway, Jase is dying. Yeah, well, it's sort of lost steam, that shit. Fucking hell. This fucking podcast is dying. Actually, Dilly, your guys' faces were viscerally angry just then. I thought you were wrapping us up. What the fuck are you doing? I was not wrapping you up. I was running a lot underneath. That was a wrap-up of seven. It's a wrap-up of seven. The music indicates the end of the podcast. Yes, and I understand that's not what you meant by it.

7:40I can tell. Human man But I just I was like oh wow We gotta get out of here How do I tell my wife What's happened man When I get home And she says How was the show I was like This is so punishing Dilly You will not believe What Hug son did Can you beep the whole podcast

8:18Mike Minogue:Why? Doosh, doosh, doosh, doosh, doosh.

8:31Mike Minogue:And just like that, we're at the nine minute mark. Dilly, Dilly, beep it out. We've got our clip, man. Yeah, 100%. Yeah, clip that off, brother. Actually, Dilly, the bit to clip off for the potty is probably the bit where Pugs gets all butted. I'm not butting it. Shall we? What's the theme for the throbber tomorrow? Hoodie J took his shit on the carpet. Maybe not that. What else is happening this weekend? Dogs sitting. Dogs. No, we've done dogs before when Tinker passed. We have. Those guys are just down there smashing beers. Dilly Rickon's dying. but we've done dying too because Jason's going to die this is the issue is that I think the longer we do themes the more same themes will come up over again that's so true man so we've got to think of a real specific one I hadn't thought of it that way so it's like what about that eagle there the Boojar eagle the hawk oh the Boojar hawk yeah let's do the Boojar hawk as our theme for the throne let's do that probably get a guest Jason will love that we'll get Jason we'll call him up for it hey thanks for listening to the Big Show podcast sorry about I'm just looking at a woman walking out there she was totally hummering the umbrella while her mate of Her mate is just getting smashed It is pissing down out there It's fair pissing down Fair pissing down Listen to the big show 407 weekdays On Radio Hauraki Have a listen Listen I do apologise No it's too late for that I do apologise You sound like jakes When do you do that?
