In short

The hosts joke about “The Disclaimer: Diving Into The Leak,” focusing on leaked/reshared Instagram reels from a private group chat—especially content that body-shames or targets “weird looking”/morbidly obese people—and the rules for what should stay in chats. They discuss consequences for careers if such material goes public, and how context can make someone look like a “piece of shit.”

Guests

No named guests appear; it’s a banter segment between the hosts (Keyzie/“Keezy” and “Horty J”/“Hoardy J” and “Jase”).

Key claims

group chats are understood to stay private; posting/sharing can trigger backlash; deleting content quickly can help; likes can expose what someone viewed.

Notable examples

a reel compilation of “really weird looking” and morbidly obese people; a wife telling Keezy to take it down for “body shaming”; screenshots showing what Hoardy J liked.

0:00For all you mad bastards loving the Big Show podcast, get up even closer on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok or Raw Doggett. 4 to 7 every weekday on Radio Horek. Oh, g'day fellas. Hello. I'm just looking at your coffee mug there, Keyzie. You've got a cup of Keyzies. You've got a cup of Keyzies on there.

0:24Mike Minogue:Yeah, some guys with moustaches on there. Yeah. A little cappuccise. A little cappuccise over there feels in that. Cappuccise. Good stuff. Good stuff. How are we going, lads? Are we all good? Good Friday. Bloody good Friday. Good week, actually. All in all. Yes. All in all. I've got to be honest with you. I'm stoked it's Friday. Yeah, I am too. I really am. I'll tell you what I'm not thrilled about is having a weekend of having to prepare. Well, actually, I'm looking forward to it. I'm preparing this fucking come time with me. Because I'm going to be absolutely thrilled to have it behind me. Fuck yeah.

0:56Just on that front, by the way, did you see my message? I did. Yesterday my wife inherited all these fresh herbs. She said, oh, maybe mogi will want them. Jase, anything that comes through on the Horeki Big Show chat which is delivered in third person, for example, Hoere J has a whole bunch of herbs that he thinks mogi might be interested in. I assume it's a piss take. Now, if you had a text to me and said, hey, I've got a whole bunch of herbs if you're interested, I would have responded to that. Oh, right, okay. But it felt like content. Right, yes. That was my initial idea. But yes, I would.

1:31We'll just bring them over anyway. That'll be great. Yeah. That'll be great. Sweet. So I've got a whole, it's going to be a whole day of prep on Saturday. My God. Saturday? Yep, a whole day of prep on Saturday. And then into it proper on the Sunday.

1:45Mike Minogue:Okay, I'm going to have to, because we're thinking of doing a team lunch, because I've been working at CGW, and they proposed the Sunday. Yeah. And I was like, oh, no. So I might have to say no and be nice and hungry. Yes. Because I don't want to, you know. Yeah, well, I've taken in consideration that you're a garbage gut, so I've got additional little foods there for old Keezy. I don't need additional foods. A trough of pork mince for Keezy on arrival. I'm actually just thinking one of those, what do you call those there? That you tie around a horse's head. A feed bag. A feed bag, yeah. Thank you.

2:19Just strap that on Keezy when he comes through the door. And he can just nuzzle it. The old pork mince feed bag for Keezy. Yes. Yeah, that'd be so good. But I've got everything. I know what I'm doing, so that's good. You feeling confident? Oh, confidence doesn't come into it, Keezy. Well, the thing about Liz is that my wife's just making me do all the cooking. Yeah, my wife's going to do the same thing. Which wasn't really on my bingo card. I just assumed that I'd say yes and she'd do everything.

2:47Mike Minogue:What's her reasoning behind that? Laziness, I think. It's my thing, so I should be the one to do it. So my wife doesn't want to eat a bar of you guys dissing your cooking. Oh, no, my wife doesn't care about that because she knows what lovely people you are and that you would never do that. Shame about you guys. But last week I cooked. We had people over for dinner, and she loved it. She loved having old mogi in the kitchen, sweating and effing and jeffing. But she actually really did. So anyway, I'm looking forward to it. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I'm going to get my wife to do all the cooking, and I'll just turn up when she's finished.

3:21Should be good.

3:21Mike Minogue:Yeah. Yeah. It's going to be awkward, though, when me and Jase's wife arrive at your place on Sunday. Oh, yes. True, true, true, true. Yeah, because Keezy got in trouble there. Oh, Keezy. Nah, it's all G, Keezy. Nah, it's not, Jase. It's not all G. She's all G with you. It's got to be on air, this shit. Are we doing this on air? On air, on air. On air, on air. I don't know if you want to do it on air. No, I don't know. I just saw it was on the dock. Right, okay. Haughty J, we don't have to do it at all if you don't want to. Oh, you know, we'll see how we feel. Oh, yeah, right, shit. It was one of those classic situations, though, of going, oh, right, I see.

3:56What? No, not from her perspective. I went, oh, right, yeah, yeah. I did too.

4:01Mike Minogue:No, fair enough. What do you mean? So I made a video last night. Yeah. You saw it? Yeah. And as I was talking about this in the office, it was like on the fucking way to the moon in terms of likes. Right, yeah, yeah, yeah. And it was basically, Horty J's been sending me all these reels and stuff. What was it up to? It was like 14 minutes and it had 200 and something likes. And I was like, for the big show, it's good. We don't go viral. And I was like, but the caption on it was like, Horty J, seriously guys, Horty J needs help. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then the video was just a screen grab of a recording of all of the reels of just like really weird looking people and really quite morbidly obese people.

4:41Mike Minogue:Not even weird, a certain type of person. And then like a really hairy girl in a bikini and just all this weird stuff. Yeah. And then I turned it into a video and put it up. And then Hoity J's wife told him off. Yes. For sending that stuff. Yes. Right, really. While I was sitting on the couch and she was on her phone and I was watching TV and she said, Jason, you can't do that. And I went, what? What are you talking about? No idea I'd even made the video. And it was that. But the funny thing was, that was in response to me getting stuff from Keezy in the same vein. So I was like, I'm going to inundate the bastard with it.

5:22The Hauraki Big Show, weekdays from four on Radio Hauraki. Oh, g'day, mate. Oh, hi, mate. Yeah. Look, if you want the chance to win all our on-air competitions and stuff and get amongst the live conversation, tune in to The Hauraki Big Show, four to seven weekdays on Radio Hauraki and iHeartRadio.

5:46Mike Minogue:The Hauraki Big Show Podcast. But then I went, okay, no, that's fair enough. Well, and this is probably what the wider chat should be on the radio, but that a group chat or a chat amongst – there are some horrendous things that get said that if they're aired, your career is over. Yes. And this is not just us. This is my whole life. Every person listening to this has got a group chat with their mates where the most horrendous things are said. Not because people feel that way, but because it's horrendous. To be shocking, you say these things. Now, if they're printed in a newspaper, careers are over.

6:27Well, radio careers have been over. Career is absolutely over. Totally. So the chat is that everybody understands that what goes on in there goes no further. So what has happened with Keezy needs to be put underneath a microscope because people are going to have an opinion on this if we talk about it on the radio. And not to go into detail about what was done last night, but to say, you know, what are the rules around your group chats with your mates?

6:54Mike Minogue:Yeah, yeah. Keezy, shocking bastard, yes or no. The good thing was, because it had heaps of comments, but most of them were just like... Absolutely dragging you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. 100%. Absolutely dragging you. Which is great. Which is well deserved. I showed my wife the video that I took, and I showed her, and she was like crying with laughter at the reels that he had sent through. And I was like, this is fucking gold. I have to do something with this. Yeah, and that was funny when I woke up because I was like, oh, I wonder how many likes it's got now. And I was like, was it on Big Show? It must have been on Keezy's, and it's disappeared.

7:29It's gone. I was like, I know what's happening here. To your point that you were making, like, read the group chat, my wife and I have often discussed, you know, like imagine if you're in court or something and it was like, Mr Hoyt, did you ever say to your wife blah, blah, blah? And it would be like, well, yes, yes, I did say that. And likewise from her perspective, because she can give as good as she gets sort of thing. Yeah, yeah. And it's like taken out of context, you look like a piece of shit. Oh, absolutely. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And even in context, for anybody else to be in on that that doesn't know yet, it's like, oh, it's not good.

8:07Oh, God. So there's a chat in there. Anyway, very funny.

8:10Mike Minogue:But so what time are you and your wife getting there on Sunday? Because I might. And what time did you take it down? I might come there earlier and then leave. I took it down after like 14, 15 minutes. Oh, really? Yeah. I just caught it. Well, yeah, because my wife said, are you going to get her to take it down or will I? and I said oh you can do it she was very she messaged me she said Keezy take that reel down please body shaming's not cool and I said 100 % and I was just like oh my god you're right I was surprised to see that particular kind of content shared yeah yeah yeah and it's because I was too busy laughing at it and just being like oh my god Hoardy J's just like this is fine in the chat yeah it's like I've started this by messaging him one or two goofy looking people and then he's hit me back and now I'm like, whoa, Joe, whoa.

9:02Mike Minogue:It's a really funny opportunity and then after I quickly made the reel show my wife, she was crying with laughter and then posted it she messaged me that and I was just like oh yeah, it's probably, you know, it's kind of not very nice to them, yeah. And so I blocked her and then she said to me do you think Keezy's upset with me and I went, he will be freaking out. Yeah, absolutely. We'll make it interesting on Sunday. I genuinely felt like, oh, I've let down Hoity J's wife. Yeah, and she will be a little bit cool. She won't look at you. Look, she'll be frosty for a little bit. As long as I haven't had a history of getting offside with her.

9:42Mike Minogue:Yeah, exactly right. Exactly right. No, you're all good, mate. You're all G. She's totally chill. Are you sure? We'll find out. She gave me a little slap on the wrist and that was the end of it. She's very good like that. She doesn't hold on to shit. She just goes, no. Well, look, it's not going to stop anything, is it? No. Let's be honest. What do you mean? Well, I mean, you two are going to continue to send your weird shit to her. I'll tell you what I did find, though, and I don't know if this was because of you, because you sent me a reel, and then I went to have a look at it, and it had been deleted.

10:13What was it, Keezy?

10:15Mike Minogue:Oh, I don't know. I genuinely don't know. Oh, it would have been my reel. I tagged you in it. Oh, okay. And then it would have been deleted. Yeah, right, right, right. because I thought, oh, he's backtracked on his entire life. No, no, no. Fuck no. Yeah, totally good. Do you know what is funny, though, is I've now had three people messaging me because yesterday I – Can you send me – No, I sent – because Jason and I have got this little battle going where we're just sending each other really fucking stupid shit on Instagram. Crook shit. And I sent him a photo of an older bloke with his shirt up with his giant buzzies and giant nips.

10:47I saw that one.

10:48Mike Minogue:And then he goes, Keezy, and I'm like, what? And then he shows his phone to me and he's like, stop sending me this stuff and so I reached over and double tapped it and liked it. Now, I've had three people message me on Instagram being like, can you tell Hoody J that everyone could see the stuff he's liked? Yeah, I think, did you send that through Pugs there was a screenshot of it? I put it in the group chat. Yeah, right. That was the first, I've had two more. Oh, how good. Isn't it funny that it feeds it to people? That's fucking gold. So you didn't even know it. It's so funny. It's so funny. Oh, good stuff Group chat stuff, eh?

11:24God, it's good Group chat Look, there's nothing wrong with man buzzies No, totally, 100 %

11:28Mike Minogue:And if you could just pass my apologies on to your wife No, you're going to have to do it yourself No, you're going to have to do it in person I wish I could be here on Sunday Yeah Oh, God No, you're all good Nah, listen to The Big Show, 4 to 7 weekdays, Radio Haraki
