In short

Jasmine Star and Omar Al-Zakori discuss “less push, more pull” personal branding—building an online presence through intention, consistency, interest-based marketing, trust-building pinned posts, and human DM conversations. They also cover how to scale from zero, including how to run Instagram Live and what to say/structure.

Guest backgrounds

Omar Al-Zakori is a long-time content creator who started blogging in 2007 (including becoming a photographer without owning a camera). He later advised marketing teams, launched courses in 2015 (a $197 course that generated seven figures in a year), built a membership, and started a SaaS company in 2021. Jasmine Star is the host and entrepreneur focused on business plus intention/purpose.

Key claims

Intention and consistency drive growth and reveal opportunities already “in front of you.” Personal brand is “you,” and options can block action. Social algorithms are interest-based, not follower-based. Pinned posts act as “trust currency.” Conversions come from conversations, especially via DMs. Live video helps pre-qualify and communicate clearly.

Notable examples

A 21-second “81 grams of protein smoothie” video to target fitness/beauty interest buckets; DM-based “drop a word” quick wins; a four-step Instagram Live framework (thesis + 3 points + Q&A). Live studio audience podcast recording in Omar’s Las Vegas studio.

0:00Welcome to the Jasmine Star Show, where if you've been around the block with me, you will know that 2026, in fact, I have written in my notebook that this year I made the intentional decision, less push, and I want to be pulled. I want to be pulled where I'm supposed to go. I spent the last decade building and pushing on my own force, and then I believe that there's been a divine calling in my life. And so I'm in Austin. You'll notice that the studio looks a little bit different today. and I explained to the podcast producer, renting this gorgeous studio. And I said, I'm so excited. Thank you so much for having me.

0:34This is really great. I said, I've been here and I'm going to get to that in a second, but I said, I've been here and I've been working with my COO and no, this is not part of any of my podcast notes, but everything in intention, what you put out is the thing that you ultimately get. And so I'm going to get into why I'm going to be introing this podcast, but I'm working at a studio and the producer, the studio that I rented. And I told him, you know, I really just need to be grounded today. So I'm going to be spending time with my husband and daughter later. I'm just going to get grounded. And he called his wife, okay, his wife.

1:05I didn't even know she was here. She came down. She just led us through a breathing exercise before we started. And I know this is a business podcast, but you know what? A little breath, a little woo, a little grounding was perfect confirmation for us to get into this podcast episode when I wrote in my notes, girl, this year, less push, more pull. And so welcome to the Jasmine Starshow where there is an intersection of business and intention and purpose. And it's very special to me that I get to talk about this podcast. And if I have tears dropping down my face, I mean, it's just like that excess little gangster tear where you don't even know.

1:38They just kind of like seep out the side. It's like that little drive-by tear, the little remnant of like gratitude that I get to do this, gratitude that we get to connect, gratitude that we get to build businesses on our own terms and define success the way that we do. Heck yes. So So on that note, I think that it's easy as an entrepreneur to get distracted. I mean, I know that I'm just preaching to the choir. So this year, I am focusing on creating less but with more impact, more intention. So I want more flow. I want more creativity. I want more growth. I want more abundance. And until we tell our brains what we should be focusing on, we're never going to see it.

2:20And the thing that I realized is when I said, I want more growth, I have never grown as much as I have the last few years. And they've been so hard. And I'm like, I want more abundance. And my life has never been more abundant. Abundant in presence, abundant in joy, abundant in gratitude, abundance in family time. And I said, oh, the very thing you said you wanted was already in front of you. but you weren't even looking or tracking toward it. So the minute you set your intention as an entrepreneur, you start seeing opportunities in that way. And that is what happened for me. And the best part of getting to do what I do is I'm choosing to do it with people.

3:02Entrepreneurship is very lonely. You do a lot of it. So this year I said, can I do more, have more impact, have more of what I want with less effort behind it and like less up level because we don't play small games, can I do it with people? So just imagine my surprise and delight. I met a gentleman by the name of Omar. So let's go back to 2023. I was invited to speak at an event in Las Vegas, and this was for people building a personal brand on YouTube. So this was like a big YouTube conference. I was invited to be the keynote speaker, and I met a guy there named Omar. And at the time, he was working with this team.

3:36And Omar, you know when you meet people and they just kind of have like what the cool kids call or what I call like, they have like that little je ne sais quoi, like a sparkle. He had a sparkle. Most men would never want to be associated with like, yes, I sparkle. I say men sparkle. And so I met Omar. He was so cool. I met his wife. He introduced me. He was one of those people who just like was a magnet for people. So a couple of years later, he sent me a DM on Instagram and he says, Jasmine, I'm doing my own thing. I'm starting a podcast and I am going to be doing what I taught people for years to do.

4:06I'm going to build my personal brand. I'm going to build a YouTube channel and I have my podcast. This was about a year, year and a half ago. He reaches out. He says, can you be in my podcast? And the timing just didn't work. And in the last year, this guy had set an intention and he built his own studio in Las Vegas. And unbeknownst to me, the podcast completely takes off. I am in Vegas last February and we reconnect. And he's like, Jasmine, have you ever done a podcast in front of a live studio audience? Never in my life. Well, he brought in a live studio audience. The podcast came together in less than 48 hours.

4:42He just put it on social media. Is anybody in town at 12 o 'clock on a Tuesday? And we had a group of people in his studio audience. And it was the first time I've ever done that. And it was very interactive with the people in the room and with Omar. We spoke about building a personal brand. We talked about marketing on social media. We had really clear activations of what was happening and what is being called of us in 2026 and what I hypothesized of what's going to happen in 2027. And so it was great because I was able to vibe with the audience. And so this particular podcast, you will hear us talk about building a personal brand.

5:13You'll talk about what we believe it's going to take to build and scale a six-figure, seven-figure, eight-figure business. And the best part is we're able to do live audience Q &A. So stick around to the end for that. So before we get into that, I'm going to borrow a little bit of deep breathing. I'm going to remind you that if you choose less push and more pull, and that is where you set your intention, you're going to be inviting more growth, more presence, and more abundance. And the good news, it's already in front of you. And the minute you start looking for it, people will come into your life like the random wife of a podcast producer in Austin, Texas, and give you exactly what you need at that moment.

5:55And with that, let's dive in. Welcome to the department. It's Omar Al-Zakori and I'm so honored and excited to have someone I've wanted on this since I started it. And you know this probably because I reached out. You did? But people ask, Omar, how do you get guests on the podcast? I just plant seeds. Just ask and then one day something can happen. And so I'm so honored to have the Jasmine Star. Come on, let's give it up for Jasmine Star. Thank you, Lion. I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm fangirling. which is cool that you created this effect. And I've seen, I've been able to do this as well, but where as a CEO, you've been able to create an audience that thanks you in public, that sees you in such high regard, which is now it's a super popular thing to do, build a personal brand.

6:49But how did you even know this was how you needed to show up when you first started posting content online? Well, the truth is I didn't. and the truth was I didn't have anything. So when you don't have anything, you take whatever's in front of you. And at the time it was a phone and at the time it was a blog. And so I think that I was afforded the luxury of having nothing and trying to make something because when you have a lot of options, you're gonna choose the one that hurts the least, that's the least vulnerable. And then you get to yourself and you find a place where if you have nothing to lose, you play like you have nothing to lose.

7:25and when you go that hard in a direction that most people don't, you can't help but stand out just as a byproduct. Yeah, so good. So you came in, which is what I would, let's just call it the blog era. Yes. Where writing blogs about things that were going on in your life, purchases you were making. How long ago was that? So I had my first blog post in 2007, which is the same year that I decided to become a photographer and I didn't own a camera. So like, no, it's a true story. But that kind of becomes that becomes like literally the template that I have copied every single time my personal brand has taken a shift.

8:02So became a photographer without owning a camera in 2007. I began creating content and other companies would come to me and say, can we have our stuff featured on your site? So I became a content creator before I even knew what a content creator was. And then I decided I don't want to do this anymore. So those same companies said, well, can you advise our team members to do what it is you're doing? They're like, do you consult? I went to Google and I was like, what is a consultant? And I were like, what is a consultant charge? And then I said, well, this is my consulting fees because that's what I learned from Google, what you call them.

8:31And they're like, yes. And I got paid to tell other marketing teams what to do. And I was like, this is crazy. And they did that for two years. And then in 2015, I saw a whole landscape of small business owners who really needed depth of education. And so launched my very first course in 2015. And we did seven figures in a year off$197 course. Then two years later, started a membership. I had no idea what a membership was, got into the membership game. And then in 2021 decided, oh, I don't know a line of code. We're going to start a SaaS company to fulfill on the backend. So every single time it has been as crazy as I don't have a camera to, I don't know a line of code.

9:11It's you, You got to show up until you blow up. And when you have nothing in front of you, you are willing to do whatever it takes. And so people are like, so pontificate about the personal brand. I was like, listen, my personal brand is me. I can control it. I can show up. And I'm like a cockroach. You can't kill me. I'm just going to be around here. I'm going to keep on creating. And for everybody who says all these nasty things about me, it's okay, but you're not going to stop me. And so I want to be real. I want to be real with you is if you have options, you're really blessed, but it also might be the thing that's stopping you from showing up.

9:44Wow. When options are an obstacle. Okay. That's for you though. I know I just, the alliteration, it's just in my brain. It's literally, I'm working in the post-production and the pre-production. No. Okay. So you've been in the, we'll call it the online game for a very long time. can you share things just that haven't changed despite ai despite algorithm changes like what hasn't changed cringe it had that has that has not changed is volitionally stepping into something that makes me really uncomfortable i think that there is this misnomer that people think i like creating or that i like social media and that couldn't be furthest from the truth that's crazy i look at the aesthetic of your home and i'm like she loves aesthetics social media instagram Well, I do.

10:35Well, two separate things. Aesthetics, yes. Creating content, posting, totally different. The answer is no. That's so good that you're saying this. Thank you. But I'll do things that other people won't to get a result that other people don't. And I just want to say that again and again is like the game is not easier or harder for other people. It's just the game is to be willing to say, how many times am I going to do it this week? And then you do it. And how many times I'm going to do it next week? And then you do it. that's the game. Okay, let's jump straight into it. I like to think of my conversations as course conversations, that if this hypothetically was a course, that we would cover the who, what, where, when, whys of something.

11:20Oh, good. And so I think this is a mixture of me, you unpacking if you lost it all and started and wanted to start an online business from scratch? No audience, no offer, no marketing, no sales, but experience, expertise, a desire to serve. What would be that process of you starting an online business today? I'd break it down in four or five steps. I wish I could come out and say definitively, okay, I'm going to say five. I like the number five and we're going to go with it. Because the fifth one, I debate sharing this with people because it immediately turned them off. So I'm going to save it till the end.

12:02I'm gonna get your buy-in. So first things first is I would 100 % go crazy on social media. Hands down, period, the end. It is just getting started. There's never been a better time than yesterday. And the second better time is today that the story we tell ourselves is that it has to be perfect. It has to look good. We have to look fly. Everything has to be fresh. And it's not. A lot of times what does the best is when you just show up as yourself. So first and foremost, I'm going to make the commitment to be consistent. I don't care what your level of consistency is, but whatever you pick, you got to stick with it.

12:34Because the person you have to honor first is yourself. You're going to walk in integrity. Integrity is doing what you say you're going to do so you prove to yourself, come rain or shine, you're going to do it. And once you make that commitment to consistency and you decide which platform, you're going to be tempted. I'm talking to myself, right? I'd love to know your platform of preference. Well, I'm going to pick my platform depending on who I'm selling to. And so if I go back to who – if right now I have nothing and I'm starting from scratch, I'm going to choose Instagram because that's where my dream customer is.

13:05And my dream customer is going to be a female. And she has aspirations and she's driven and she doesn't really know exactly where to start. But I have always maintained – and I didn't actually say this publicly until this year. It felt very self-serving for me to say it, but I said, wait, wait, wait. I shouldn't be embarrassed for what I know my truth is. I believe that I've been put on this earth because I'm a container of belief, is that people will look and say, I believe in myself because she is not the most polished or the most qualified. She's unfunded, unconnected, uneducated, and yet she's doing it.

13:38So if there's somebody out there who has less and can do more, what does that say about me? And so people walk away feeling that they can believe in themselves. And so if my, my tenant, my God-given purpose is to make somebody believe that what they have been called to, because you don't get a dream, You don't get a desire inside of you if you didn't have the capacity to achieve it. I don't believe that. I do not believe it whatsoever. So if you have a dream of owning a car wash, if you have a dream of being an internet personality, if you have a dream of being a golf pro, you wouldn't have that dream unless you had the capacity to put it out into the world.

14:09I did not have the dream of being an NBA star. It doesn't cross my mind. I love basketball. I don't think I'm going to be a star. But an idea that comes into me in my business, in my knowing, I have to say it was given to me divinely. Yes. And then it's my job to steward and shepherd it. If I don't execute on it, who am I disappointing? God. Myself. My family. And I just thought to myself, when my mom was 50 years old, she was diagnosed. Excuse me. She was diagnosed when she was 44 with brain cancer and cancer of the central nervous system. And when she was 50, I was in law school and she had a relapse.

14:46And I was 25 years old and she was 50 and I had a midlife crisis. And I was like, what am I doing with my life? What is going on? And it was then when I saw my mom in the hospital bed that she was talking about the things that she hadn't done. And I thought to myself, I don't want to die wishing or having the regret. And that was the last time I stopped playing by somebody else's rules and just started saying, I have nothing, but can I create something? So first step would be consistency. The mode I chose was a blog post. I was like, I can write a blog every day. That's what I did. I didn't have much to write about, but it forces you to be creative.

15:25Lack forces ingenuity and ingenuity gets attention. I didn't know that then, but that's what I did. So first step to starting all over again would be how consistent am I going to be? Yeah. And I love that you just said, I want, you know, I always encourage people to write down what you thought of as a result of what you heard, not just what you heard, because a lot of us will write down be consistent but something you said was find your way to be able to like if you were to leave this room or leave this podcast and and do something to show up like i like how you said it uh go crazy on social media i like that uh what just remove the obstacles and just do it you know the car is such a great studio i mean they they pop off we don't know why but they do yeah like It's crazy.

16:14The get ready with me's. A lot of guys don't do it and they should. Because the least amount of people who are doing something that's already been proven is a great way to get attention. Like last Sunday, you said an A or B option with what shoe am I going to wear to church? I was like, that's right, son. That's right. We do this tennis shoe or do the loafer. That's right. It's like that stuff gets attention because we care about the minutia. We care about the human. And so if somebody later that day saw him and he ended up wearing the loafer, they're like, oh, yeah, good choice, man. Good choice, man.

16:43Other people be like, I like the other shoe. That's okay. Have an opinion. Everyone's going to have one. But when you involve people in it, it really does help build that personal brand. When they feel like they're about you, they become for you. So good. Come on. Sorry, it's churchy. It is very churchy. This is the most church podcast I have ever been on. I want to say, no, Zion. No, even just my come on. Come on. Some guy responded to that, by the way. I screenshot it. He said, the Lord isn't concerned with your outfit. I said, cool, going naked. And then Justin Bieber that night is like in boxers and socks on the Grammy.

17:20I was like, bro, we about that life. Anyway, that was step one. Go crazy on social media. Be consistent. Absolutely. We're building our online business from scratch. Number two. Number two would be to be intentional with how you are marketing. Now this is for somebody who has an idea about what it is that they want to sell. And listen, the first idea might not be or end all be idea, but it's idea to get your feet on the ground. So you want to be intentional right now. Um, social media is all about interest-based, not social. So the algorithm that we remember years ago was like, we wanted more followers because more followers meant more people would be seeing our stuff.

17:56That's not the case anymore. It is truly how people are interacting on interest-based. So you and I, and you can be following the same hundred people. We follow the same identical people. And every time we open our algorithm, we're not going to see the same thing because based on other things that we've interacted with. So it's going to be very important that our interests point back to what our business is. So I'm going to give an example of this. So recently I've, you know, I was like every basic girl, every basic girl, January 5th, new year, new me, like 2026. I'm like, this is my year, but I did it.

18:26So I hired an online coach. I hired an online trainer. I'm doing my macros. I'm doing meal planning because I've counted the cost to get the thing that I've wanted. And so I would stand on stages and talk to people about like their business, right? Like you got to do things other people won't do to get results. And all of a sudden I said, you know what? I actually do like eating and sipping more than the average person. If I want to change, what do I need to do? Change. And so what I decided to do is to bring people in on the journey because one of the interest buckets on Meta, you have parenting, you have finance, you have relationships, you have beauty, you have fitness.

18:58And I was like, well, let me see how this might do. So I made a protein smoothie, 81 grams of protein. And I knew that with a good hook a video i would be like can i get 81 grams protein in a smoothie and immediately people are like no and so then what i did is i just did a time lapse of me making a smoothie like the entire video was 21 seconds and in the caption i talked about how i'm getting a smoothie i'm changing the way i'm eating because my mind and body need to be working in connection for the type of business that i'm building hey so what we're trying to do now is to get interest and merge with what you're about so when we're intentional about making sure that there is a mix between the two, it allows us to go into new markets that would otherwise not be paying attention to us.

19:38Because sometimes there's three level of customers. Number one, I know I have a problem and I'm actively looking for a solution. Number two, I know I have a problem and I'm not sure what the solution is. And number three, I don't know why I don't have a problem and I'm not looking for a solution. We're not ever really talking to that third person, but there is a large group of people who know that they have a problem and they don't know who solves it. They might not know that they're going to be looking for a crazy latina who's going to help them build a digital business But they might be like oh i'm got to get my protein smoothie and they come across my profile And then what do they get they get to an optimized bio, but I want to slow down real quick Step one consistency step number two is intention and we're going to be doing that with interest based no longer social I want you to have a lot of followers.

20:20I really do You don't need a lot of followers to succeed And when we are merging our interests with what we do professionally, we're going to get new attention I want to pause there are we good so good okay uh I would say learn the art of communicating two things at once and sometimes you don't have to say two things you just do one thing and say something else this is why I love filming ads on the golf course because I write off my golf membership no no uh but when when people like you said can connect with you on something else but they know what you do, they'll work with you because of the connection, not necessarily just because of what you do.

21:05A hundred percent. And I think about this in real estate, like you become one of three options when, when, when you go into the market, like if you're trying to sell or buy a home, you're thinking about three people, the person you're doing business with is the person you like the most. Absolutely. And so creating likability online is what you're talking about. and there's just so much power in creating content in a way, which is like, it just requires you to not overthink so much. It's like, just make it where you are. Make it how you're dressed. Make it where you live. Make it where you're at, you know?

21:33And it communicates two things at once. Absolutely. And then at the same time, we can nod our head and be like, oh yeah, creates likability. Likeability, write down my notes. Also add to your notes, unlikability. A. Unlikability. By you putting yourself out there, good chance 50 % are going to hate it. They're just not going to like it. So I want all of us to count the cost. Like for every person who's about you, there will be three who are not. But I guarantee you, anybody who has the nerve to say something about you online, about what it is you're doing, they're not doing better than you. Not better.

22:05Not better. You are not doing better. So if you ain't doing better, I ain't got to listen. And are you living the type of life that I want? If you are not living the type of life I want, why would I listen to your opinion? I'm going to be having people pour into me who are three, ten, hundred steps ahead to help. They become a way maker, so I become a way maker. And if all of us will leave the doors open for the people behind us and expand the tables and add chairs to it, then we've done the thing that we've been here to do. But you can't do that until you have accepted that you will be unliked as much as you will be liked.

22:35Beautiful. Consistency. Interest base. Oh, yes, intentionality with our marketing. With our interest base versus just marketing staunchly on what it is we do. Yeah. Are you frustrated at the whole algorithm change? Like, from the standpoint of like, yeah, the number, the follower numbers, the subscriber numbers, they don't grow the same. I mean, you can, but it's like going to Vegas buffet and being like, I just don't like the flavor profile. It's like, and then I got comped, right? I go into a comped buffet and then I complain like, it's a little too salty. I didn't pay anything for it. If I don't want to eat it, I can take my plate somewhere else, but I'm not going to because it's free food.

23:14And there's a lot of it. So, like, no, just no. I'm taking that as a correctional moment. Listen, it's a beast, right? So I always look at social marketing as fire. Fire is good because it keeps us warm and fire is good because it keeps us fed. If left unchecked, it could burn us to the very core. So I just always want to stay on the outside and the perimeter. Use what is good for it and then leave the rest that is not behind. But at the same time, if I am not paying to market myself or my business. I mean, now you get paid to do that. Right. Okay. Right. So no, I don't. And here's the thing. We've seen too much in the past.

23:51We've been a part of a generation that has seen things like MySpace and Friendster go into the dust because they didn't change. Like their job is to keep us confused and lost. That is just really it. Like they're like, what do we do next? What do we do next? What do we do next? It's like, that's what keeps us addicted and interested. Now, do I hate saying that out loud and at the same time advocating to build a business that way? A hundred percent. But when you know the person you're dancing with, you know how not to get your toes stepped on. So we're just gonna be like, okay, this is how we're gonna tango.

24:20But I'm also gonna keep a distance too. So good. Fire. Okay. Step number three. Let's go into the third thing. And the third thing is how strategic are we gonna be with our pinned posts? So many platforms will allow you to pin one to three posts. And I wanna make sure that I'm going to give somebody for free an action that they could take. because right now there is a recession of trust online. So here's a little bit of backstory. In 2020, the world goes up in flames and we are afraid. A lot of digital creators are afraid of what will happen with this. And so what happens is many of us think that the business is gonna go down, but at the same time, everybody has these stymie checks.

24:55They start investing in online education in ways that we've never seen before. So we see this massive climb in 2020 and 2021. Well, the people who bought the courses in 20 and 21 then went and said, well, you know what? I could do this too. They start creating their courses, some of which did well, some of which fell on their face, couldn't perform, didn't complete or fulfill on what they got paid for. So 2023, 2024, a whole massive trust recession because someone's like, I've been burned. So if you're trying to sell to somebody who's burned on the internet before, you're going to have a really hard time getting them into your offer.

25:28So what we see now is a bunch of people who say, I'm not sure I trust you. You can burn me the way that other people have before. So now I look at my pin post as my trust currency. Here's a little piggy bank. So the first one I'm going to give an action that I can send via DM that they can take immediately. A quick win is a huge win. Because when I give advice like stay consistent, okay, that's one thing. But if I say stay consistent and you go home and write the three posts that you're going to post every single week for the next four weeks and then you do it and you get a result, you're not going to think about me as much as you say, I trust her because I did what she said and I got a result.

26:03Great. so all in social media I am trying to build trust with people by taking an action like I don't believe anybody is so cute so smart so captivating you have to empower somebody to make a decision for themselves so that they look at you and say you were the conduit who got me to where I want to go so my pin posts are going to be really focused on that so the first one is going to be like what is a quick win that they can go in and take action so like I like three to five steps and so what I'll do is instead of making them like go into it like an opt-in I really want to start driving dms that's going to be a different side of the strategy or strategy but I'm like drop the word in the comment and I will, you can or cannot use ManyChat.

26:37It's totally up to you. There's a lot of things that I don't use ManyChat for. And then you'll send them the five steps and you're like, do this. And when you're complete, hit me up. I want to root for you. What are we doing? We're creating that synergy between connecting with people via DM. DM is going to be the future of sales. Hands down, that is going to be the hill that I'm going to die on. And a lot of people don't want to hear it, but it is just facts. Conversions happen by way of conversation. the second post that i'm really having that's the homie was right it goes down in the dms it does go down in the dms it does it does it does the second post is going to be a little bit more long form this is where i'm going to ask for them to drop their email address because i'm going to send them like something really detailed so what currently sits on my um on my instagram account right now the first one is going to be um the five steps to uh money mindset okay i'm gonna give that The second thing is I'm going to invite them to a free, no pitch millionaire mindset class.

27:28What am I really doing with everything? I really want to change somebody's mindset before ever thinking or considering to invest. What am I doing? I'm building trust and currency and I'm not pitching in any of it. The third pin post is what we call the pop post. Problem, opportunity, and then we're going to make them an offer. Hold on. The last P because that's poo. P-O-O. No, no. Okay, I'm going to get to it. I'm going to get to it. It's problem, opportunity, and then I'm just going to say profit. A-O. But what we're going to do there is in the caption, I'm going to explain everything I do. So what is a problem that somebody is struggling with?

28:01What is the opportunity? And then I'm going to go in and I'm going to make an offer. And currently right now I have a sales team and it's just like, DM us this word. Let's start a conversation. And because we've probably been DMing in the past, it seems natural, organic. We'll send them a video sales letter, get them on a call with the sales team. But it's trust, trust, trust, trust. Anyone could do this today. Absolutely. that's a good place to clap. That was just really, that was just goaded. Come on.

28:30I love that you brought that up because we, I mean, this happened on a coach call today and I was looking at somebody's Instagram profile and she's like, I just want to, I want it to look this way. Like the aesthetic thing. I was like, think about the person and their journey with it being interest based. Somebody might find your stuff. In this case, she helps churches and worship leaders kind of like lead well and create systems. It's like the whole thing, which is, it was really cool what she does. But I'm like, when people come, they're not going to like, the person that's impressed with your aesthetic, it's like, so what?

29:08But I think what used to be aesthetics is now pin posts. And something I just want to bring up and validate what you said was I had a post that I made that really just fell down because I didn't pin it. but it was me sharing that like I got a new award for my inner circle people and that capped at about 12 ,000 views that carousel and it was photos of people with their awards I pinned it seven months ago it just passed a hundred thousand views and this is a post that just shows that Omar helps people get results and when I think about the architecting of what's happening in a person's mind, strategically pinning posts is a great way to do it.

29:52And so thanks for that game. That was crazy work. Thank you. What have you learned with DM conversations? That would be point four. That would be point four. And what we really don't want to get caught up on is like, oh, there's got to be a strategy or a flow or a funnel. I always think of this as social media is like a cocktail party. And some people here are like, I'm just, I hate cocktail party is fine. It's social media farmer's market, social media mall, social media Main Street USA, whatever it is. So I want you to think about where you see yourself building a business. Imagine yourself at a mall, at a cocktail party in Main Street USA.

30:29And sure, there are going to be people there, but they don't know that your store exists. They don't know that the solution to their problem is there. If I was at a farmer's market and I sold soap at a stall in the corner, that's just where this stall happened to be. Do you think I'm going to stay there and just be like, my soap is so good. It's just going to call people in. And yet that's what digital, that's what digital business owners do. Like the offers there. I'm just going to hope that it works. That's anything but the case. We have to take our content to people because here again, sometimes they don't even know that the offer is there.

31:02Sometimes they follow us, but they really don't even know what it is that we sell. So it's our job to start conversations, not a sales pitch. When I say that conversation leads to conversion, it's true, but it always starts with the conversation. And so people are like, yeah, but what do I say? And I'm like, okay, if we were at a cocktail party and you had just walked in and I happened to walk up right next to you, what are you saying to me? What are you going to say to me? We just end up like we're at a farmer's market and you're right outside your stall and I come up right next to you. What are you going to say?

31:31If you're wearing that, I'd be like, the fit goes crazy. Well, thank you. Thank you. Oh, that's great. I like your outfit too. Thank you. Great. And then the next week, it's like, hey, Fit. Hey. What was your name? Omar. Jasmine. What'd you do this week? Oh, I just got back from vacation. Really? That's awesome. A little bit. Oh, Jasmine, I noticed that you have a shop down the street. I passed by the stop and I noticed you had some flowers outside. Yeah, that was great. What do you do for a business? This is literally what we're doing in the DMs. And people are like, I don't have time for that.

32:03And then I would probably counter and say maybe you don't have enough time to get the sales that you actually want. We have to have real human-to-human interactions because people, when they buy something digital, really do think that I see people as a dollar sign. I see people as a transformational bucket of the impossible. But in order for somebody to see that, they have to trust that I see them that way and that I can help them fill it so that they do fulfill their end-up impossibility that turns into a possibility. But that doesn't happen by me saying, so I have this thing online and it's like a four-step process, like never in a million years.

32:38It's the conversation to show that you care, to show and understand, oh, I understand your problem now. This is how I would frame the solution. That's where it goes down. That's beautiful. And I know you're now at a level, we're talking about like starting from zero. Currently, you know, one can have the argument of like I'm a CEO and I don't have time to be having these conversations. How have you scaled your ability to still have it? How much of your Instagram do you run as a multiple seven figure entrepreneur? And how have you trusted other people to be in there if that's where you're at? So, okay, I'm going to answer this first and foremost as a CEO of an eight figure brand.

33:22And then, uh, well, you know, here's the thing. There's not a lot of brown girls. There's not, there's not, it is a flex. It is a flex. Thank you. because there's not enough black and brown people who actually stand up and show what is possible because I'm a statistic unlikelihood and I don't say this to be like I matter or it matters I actually don't believe there's a lot of people with a lot of commas and zeros behind their name that act like they matter it's not I simply say it because it took a very long time to get here and other people have to see what is possible on the back of somebody who has nothing that can do something that was only where it came from thank you but I know exactly who I am and I know exactly I got to where I got simply because I didn't quit and then God has a calling on my life but I believe that God has a calling on everybody's life.

34:01It's just like, how big do you want to play? Because it's like, you want to tempt God and be like, God, use me. And then you're like, but not that way. You know, so no, no. So where'd we go? Where'd we go? Okay, okay, so I answered this two ways. I'm gonna answer this two ways. I believe that as a CEO, people spend tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands on research and development. And what I am doing as a CEO is I'm in the DMs because I'm like, where's the market going? What do they want? Where's the pressure point? How could we ever create for people we want to serve by being so far removed from who we're serving.

34:32And not everybody feels that way. And that's actually, this is just like my opinion. I don't believe that if you have a different skillset, if you're really numbers driven, if you're a really creative visionary and that's where you go, I'm a pattern seer. I'm a problem solver. I'm a human believer. And I'm like, what's stopping you from believing? How do we get rid of that? But the only way that I know that is when I'm in my DMs. And prior to us, we created a new offer and I got hundreds of calls. I was paying people in$25 gift cards to get on a 25 minute call. and I'm asking the same questions and I get all of their answers and I'm going over them like, what's stopping people from getting to where they want to go?

35:06And like the thing we heard again and again, because I didn't go in saying, I have an offer and I want to see who it's for. And I'm like, what's the market missing right now? Like, where's the white space? So I started asking, I started asking and the thing that like for years it hit me in the face and I was like, nah, bro, no, that's not where, nah, bro, that's not me. No, again and again, what we asked, what would be the number that would change your life? and allow you to live differently? Everybody said$10 ,000 a month. And I was like, huh, what's stopping you from building$10 ,000 a month?

35:44And we got all of this information. We got all this data. I know, I know what I can, I easy, one, two, three, let's go. We can get you to 10K a month. Like how bad do you want it? That's how quick we're going to get there. How willing are you to, how willing are you to do the work? That's how quickly we're going to get there. But in order for you to do the work, in order for you to believe that you can actually have that, that's an inside job. So a lot of the front end messaging had to be, who do you have to believe and what do you have to do and who do you have to become in order to get the result that you want?

36:11And that's where the real work began. And that's where we started building out the foundation of the program of the marketing. But how did we know that? By being in the DMs. And so for me, yes, I'm in it because it's ROI positive all day, every day. Now, if I was starting and I didn't have a following, I would still be doing the same thing. You just got to be human. You want to be the person like Main Street USA, like you're sweeping the front of your shop. There goes Jasmine. You want to be in the mall and you want to be passing out like, you know, free samples of the chocolate. There goes Jasmine.

36:44You want to be at the cocktail party, the person who grabs like the cocktail tray and be like, you're moving too slow. Here, here you go. Here you go. Like the Latina at every party, it's like, eat some more, eat some more, eat some more. Like be that person on the internet and people will begin to trust that you see them. And the minute you see them, they're going to trust that your solution, even though you have a thousand competitors in a very market, a very saturated marketplace, that you're going to be their solution. And that's only for seeing them and being human. So good. Conversations.

37:11It's a crazy perpetual cycle that when you are okay with just not i mean when when you put yourself in a position to listen which is like a sales principle is like listen to them and how it informs the offer or how it informs future content right because the thing like you could have probably assumed we could all assume maybe everyone wants to build a million dollar business absolutely but the way they're saying it is no i want to have my first 10k month yeah and so now i now my everything else is influenced just by the conversations and so i think there's a really good tip in that to just put yourself in a position to just have more conversations and listen linda one of the things um i kept on i wrote on a post-it note get curious is just like ask why and then ask why again and then ask why again and it just became so informative of the process and the word that kept on coming up.

38:08And there's like, it's just the consistency that I want. It's just a consistent that I want. And it's just a 10 K. And what did we name our program? The consistent 10 K. We literally got the words and serve them up so that I say, I know you, I see you. I know what's standing in your way. We've done it too many times before. We have success stories. Are you going to be one of them? Because the only reason you're not going to be a success story, because we have an ROI guarantee is if you don't do the work. Are you ready to do the work? So good. your boss as ricky rouse would say okay uh five five now this is where the gangsters dwell i know go live go live go live what we see happening on tiktok shop is qvc happening on tiktok and people can say whatever they want about tiktok i'm not here to talk about tiktok i'm not It is what it is.

39:01I prefer to go where I believe the strongest customers are. And for my offer, my business is going to be Instagram and secondly, Facebook. What we see is a growing demand of people who want real. And they're tired of the perfect quaff and all of that perfection. And so when you go live, you don't have the ability to cut on the in-between or use like, what is it, Cliveo to speed up how you're faster talking or add the other graphics. It's like you want to be good. show up naked. That's what Instagram live is. It's just like, how good are you at thinking? How good are you at communicating? How good are you stating the promise, the desire, the outcome, the transformation, and the simple ways to get there?

39:39You start mastering that people are like, this person don't mess. And that to me is the greatest, greatest jump between yourself and your competitors is when you could do that again and again and again. And people are like, yeah, but it's so embarrassing. There's only seven people there. I would get on a sales call for seven people are you kidding me are you kidding me like what world are we dwelling in and then furthermore if you want to put that live on your feed more than seven people are going to see it right so it's just like how willing am i to get over myself and my insecurities to get to where i want to go real real like i'll jump i'll like long jump to get over myself that's good do you have a live stream framework um i i do wow this is pretty ghetto fab so this is the real real um So I have a post-it note and it's hard looking at yourself on camera.

40:27It's one thing. It's like I can look at this camera and I'm not seeing myself in it. When you're in the selfie mode, for me, it's just intimidating. I'm like, why does your face do that? Why is your eye unequal? Like, ooh, your eyeliner is just, girl. So what I found to be pretty good for me is I'll get the post-it note and I'll put it right below the camera. Right below the camera. So I can shift my eye right below the camera and see like a point. So I'll always start with the thesis. because in the beginning when people go live, hi, John. Oh my gosh, yeah. Okay, I owe you a call. Okay, okay.

40:56Hold on. I'm gonna wait for a few people to get here. Oh yeah. That's dead in the water. You want to treat your live like it's a video from the outset, like three, two, one, action. And so when it goes live and I see it pops up and I'm like, we're here to talk about, and then I talk about pressure. So I always think like the easiest way to get X without Y in Z time. That's like the best, if you could do that. So it's like, let's talk about losing five pounds without losing your mind in one week. Or maybe, I mean, obviously I'm not into fitness. Five pounds in a week is probably too much, whatever.

41:28Like five pounds in like a month, whatever. And so you start off with the thesis and what you're doing is you're pre-qualifying who's going to watch. Because if people who don't want to lose the five pounds, they're not going to be your customer. I'm not on Instagram to be popular. I'm there to be profitable. So I'm going to talk to a small group of people about a big problem so that they pay me a lot of money. Can I get an amen? Amen. Okay. so the goal here is to qualify who's going to be watching and then you immediately go in and so i will just say like i'll write my thesis like five pounds a month and then i put three main points but i don't write a lot because then i would get caught up it was like oh did i get that bullet point the sub bullet point it's just the three main points it was like meal planning macro counting walk 10 000 steps a day whatever and i'm like i'm gonna do this and like are there any questions and i'm always guiding people to use the q a box because if you have a comment it floats away.

42:14But now Instagram live, if they drop it in the comment and in the question box, all of the questions stay aggregated. So you can bring one up and then you could press it and then it pops the question box on the frame. So anybody who's watching is seeing the question. So then more people are like, oh, I want to get a shout out. And so we're doing there. Now, here's the only bad thing about it is that if you save the recorded version of it, the questions don't pop up. So what I've learned is like, I can't be like, oh, John, I got your question, blah, blah, blah, blah blah but then when i was trying to clip it for like a reel at a later point in time like people thought i was just crazy multiple personalities i was like and so then hey john how are you yeah so so now what i do is like john i see you want to know like one two three great so i'm doing that to give me optionality in the back end because maybe i don't want to have the whole live but i want to use part of the live into a short reel then that's what i'll use it for that's fire just the little game goes a long way that's right uh something i love about forcing yourself to do live the selfish part is that it'll just make you better like there there's a different like psychological approach when you create and you know it can't be edited you roll through the sneeze you you you you it just is what it is and then and then even the internal uh breakthrough that happens when you post it and you just uh and then and then here's the external benefit is you create a real expectation for other people that you that is more sustainable for you to keep yeah so when when you are hyper producing content what happens is you create an expectation that you have to keep showing up for and so you just dug yourself what is it shot yourself in the foot is that what the white people say no that's my joke i i don't know why i do that and people think i'm racist for saying jokes like that but that's just yeah it's the filipino part of me um but that's why i chose this format to show up because it's an easily sustainable way to show up and there's not much editing in post and um and if there's an easy route to do something then i mean sometimes take it and so live stream is i'm glad you said that even in today especially with the rise of ai like now ai can create short form content but can it show up on a live stream?

44:31I think it's just a matter of time before it will. And so if that's it, that's what I wholeheartedly believe. And if I believe that, then I need to create in spite and despite, and then run, we're all, if AI is zigging, then we zag, whatever's going to be the next thing for us to show up as validated. But I want to speak to like the reality of going live. Um, I've worn like my shirt inside out and people will call me out on it. Um, people say like, I, sometimes I make coffee while I'm doing, I call them coffee and conversations and people like, Why are you making your coffee that way? You're roasting your bean wrong.

45:01It's like all of the stuff that people are saying, they actually make you better. They just do. So when you do sneeze and then you're like, oh my gosh, I'm so embarrassed. People are like, it's okay. They come along to support you because they know that they would never do what it is you're doing. And one other thing is you can bring people on live with you. And so I did that for a while. It happened to me when somebody asked their question and one person came on and they weren't wearing any clothes. And I was like, oh my God, oh my gosh, oh my gosh. And so everything that can go wrong on a live has gone wrong.

45:32And I'm still here to talk about it. It doesn't kill you. It doesn't kill you. You just learn. You get smarter. You do things faster. It doesn't kill you. That's cool. How often would you encourage someone to go live? I mean, as much as humanly possible. Like when I got very, very serious about it, I was doing it every Tuesday at 9 a.m. Every Tuesday at 9 a.m. And so I think the last couple of years have just been like a real journey for me to understand like, who are you? What do you accept about yourself? Where are you going? What is the real real? And I realized that when you create live, everything shows.

46:07And I'm like, I'm not ready to show this part of me because I'm in the part of discovery. And so I peeled back a lot on my content. I was like, I'm going to teach what I know. Because we've been very honed now on social media. Like we smell when somebody's being inauthentic, like we see it. And so we also smell when somebody's trying to copy what somebody else is doing and they're doing a really bad job at it. And so when we get criticized for it, it hits you real deep. Because if I said, oh, you're a purple zebra, it wouldn't matter to you whatsoever. But if I said, oh, you're a carbon copy of this and it looks like you're a tryhard.

46:42And even if it was just a 1 % piece of truth to it, it would hurt. So it's the truth that hurts us. And so what I always like to do is when I get a lot of when i get negative feedback and it comes in all different ways shape or form is like and it hurt i'm like what was true about that what was true about what they said and then face it head on call it out the next time be the first to call yourself around what it is and then show that change and people trust you so differently on the back of that so good who's satan on jasmine star if you are please know i screenshot and i save hey i do you care i have a little folder i do Uh, kind of looking back at your journey, I, people tend to get encouraged at sharing our failures and, uh, because they're in the season of potentially failing, trying something and failing.

47:39Can you share a thing, a time where you had the outcome in mind and it was nowhere near that? And then what did that do to you? Yeah. I mean, but I want you to excavate a little bit more because I just think that business is just a series of failures. And like for every success that anybody sees, there's like a graveyard of failures and lessons. So I want to be an open book. I'll talk about anything. But it's like we can go like to like last week where we just decided to scale in such a way and didn't have a support structure on the back end. And the team's running like ragged. and I said, I went too fast and a tyrant is 10 steps ahead and a leader is one step ahead.

48:22The lesson was don't be a tyrant. Just because you have a high capacity. I am a visionary. I'm a doer. I'm a thinker. But for people who build the systems behind us, they have to say, you have to build the system. You have to build the foundation before we go. Give us time to do that. That was a failure on my end as a leader. A failure on my end was, you know, most people would get outside funding to build a SaaS tech company. And I didn't. And I think if I look back It was just like this. I'm going to do it. And I'm going to prove. And we got this. And we're shoveling seven figures of money into developing and hiring a team.

48:58Something I am the most proud of. And I had no idea what I was doing. Most expensive lesson. And it's also the lesson that I'm proudest of. And so it's like, talk to, ask me, like anything. But it is just the mind flip for me in 2026. was, so I come from a long line of addicts. And I think I have a very addictive personality, but I'm an addict of work. So I have like these acceptable things that she's such a hard worker. Yes, I am. And then sometimes I found myself doing the work to not feel. Like if I just keep moving, if I keep pushing. And so going into this year, I just had like a Jacob and God.

49:45I was gonna wrestle with God. I was like, I'm not going to tap out. And my prayer was, I'm going to stop pushing. I got me here. And the next level of me, I got to be pulled. I don't have it in me to push anymore. Like I've pushed all I can. And I keep on pushing and I'm running into a brick wall. There is a version of me 20 years ago that looks at this version and her mind's blown. How dare you think that there's more? And in my bones, I feel like there is, but it can't come from me pushing anymore. I've pushed to my limit. So my ask was, I got to be pulled. The next level of me is I got to be pulled.

50:30And in order for me to be pulled in my next level, I have to trust. I have to trust that the opportunities that come my way, that the people who are put in my path, that you will say yes to everything because it is a pull. And I want to just say thank you. Like, really, this is a pull. Come on. this, this happened like this happened like weeks, you know? And I was like, say yes, say yes. This is the year of being pulled. And so thank you. So good. I, for my journey, a lot shifted when I took myself serious and invested in myself. What was that first, you know, opportunity you said yes to, and did you get into a room where you maybe were the dumbest person in the room and like what was that like always like i don't get into rooms where i'm the smartest i actually champion against that i am not i am definitely not trying to be in those rooms um so everywhere i go present company included i am the dumbest i have a lot to learn you are my people i need to hear and i need to pay special attention to what is being said in between the lines because then i get to use my magic power and put it out into the world as my gift.

51:40The first time I ever made an investment in myself. So I knew it was 2015. And I knew I was like, so there's this thing, you guys, it's so ridiculous. So Darwin talks about this experiment where they had three separate islands and monkeys on the island, and they put a chest with something in the chest, all separate islands. The monkeys were all going with the objective to open the chest. Why was it that the monkeys opened the chest all around the same time on entirely separate islands? They were not communicating to themselves. So there's this idea that we evolve into a collective consciousness that something else is out there or more.

52:182015 hits and I'm like, I feel like I should be creating something on the internet where I can teach. I literally am saying I want to create a course, but I don't know what courses exist. So I'm like, I'm going to do this thing. So I go and I put, uh, I think like$45 ,000 and I host a live event and I sell tickets to a two day live branding event where we're teaching people how to build a brand. And I hire, it's so ridiculous. I think I hired like seven videographers, a DP, a director. I mean, I just went, I'm in LA and I was like, showtime, baby. I had no idea what I was doing. I would put up so much money to get this thing out there.

52:55I'm all like, but it's going to be my piece de resistance. I had no clue what I was doing. And all of a sudden I'm here with all of this video and I'm like, how do I put it online? What do I even do with it? And randomly on the internet, I see an ad for a stranger that's just like, do you want to put an online course? And I'm like, what's an online course? So I'm reading this and I was like, yes, yes, yes. And he's like, come to my free class. This is a webinar. I have no idea what this is. And I'm like, okay. So I signed up. My husband and I were cooking in the kitchen and it's before the class begins.

53:22And he's like, tell me where you're from. And I put Jasmine, Newport beach, Jasmine, welcome from Newport beach. And I turned to my husband, I'm like, he knows we're here. I had no idea that these things existed on the internet. So he's going through and he's talking about how he's going to help you transform and to build a course online. And I was like, yes, yes. And so we're getting, so by this time our meal is done and we take my laptop and it's on the table. My husband and I are eating over dinner, watching like it's 1950s television and like Sputnik's about to go off. And I was like, oh my gosh, my husband's like, I think this would be expensive.

53:49I said, oh, it's going to be so expensive. And he's like, how much do you think it's going to be? I was like,$5 ,000. My husband's like, no, I think it's eight. I was like, no way. $8 ,000. He gets the pitch. $25 ,000. I was like, get behind me, Satan. I closed that laptop. I was like, no way. No way. There's just no way. Washing the dishes, quiet. My husband's like, you're thinking about it, aren't you? I was like, no, I'm not. And he said, tomorrow, you're going to think about it. I was like, I'm not. I'm not. The next day, you have to spend$1 ,000 just to apply to the program. So I told my husband, well, you see, it's not 25, it's 1 ,000.

54:30And so I put down the 1 ,000 and I'm like, but I'm not going to get accepted. I'm not going to get accepted. So then I get accepted. And I tell my husband, do I believe that by doing this program for a year, I can make$25 ,001? Can I learn one thing in 12 months that will make me$25 ,001? I said, I believe I can. My husband says, I believe you can too. So I spent$25 ,000. And here's the whole catch of it. I go in saying, I've already recorded all of it. I have the video. I'm ready to go. It's going to be a$3 ,000 course, 2997. I saw it in my dreams. And he's like, have you ever sold anything online?

55:14And I was like, nope, but I can do it. He's like, okay, why don't we start a little smaller? Why don't we get people familiar that when they spend something small with you, they spend something bigger with you? And I was like, no, I don't have time for that. I'm so sorry. And he says, I have a challenge for you. 45 days, build a$97 course. And I said, on what? And he's like, well, what are people asking you about? I was like, oh, so stupid, Instagram. And he's like, create a course for Instagram on how business owners use Instagram. I took it as a challenge sold two hundred and fifty five thousand dollars in five days on a ninety seven dollar product which is crazy which is crazy there's your two twenty five thousand dollars in one that's right so we were ROI positive within the first three months of the program and then that course we ended up raising the price we ended up launching it and that was a seven figure revenue stream that came in that year so when you invest in yourself and you are committed to doing whatever it takes and listening because there is a version I was with people when this mentor would say like you should do this like no i'm gonna do it my way why are you paying him like just tell me what to do yes sensei right away sensei yes okay and that was the thing that really set the foundation set the foundation for what we would later go on and do so good i love that you share that even how you you you say that you got accepted but i see air quotes around the word i didn't even know what digital marketing was i was like an application fee oh my god and it worked it like it totally worked so good is this guy still around today yeah absolutely Was it Dan Henry?

56:44No, it was James Wedmore. Oh, wow. Okay. OG. Yeah. Legit OG. Yeah. It's funny. I did that. I did something like that web class and it led to a book, a call. And I had a photography course in my heart to create. I already created it actually. And then I hop on it. What I didn't know was a sales call at the time because I didn't know sales. And it's just some rando and not the guy who did the web class. And he's like, so Omar, what are you trying to do? I was like, I'm trying to sell a course. and uh he's like dude there actually is a photographer in our program that has made over a million dollars with their photography course and in my mind I'm like well mine's gonna be better you know and so he's like yeah dude it's nine grand I didn't take it and the few fast forward maybe five years the first offer I do take is$55 ,000 but when I take that offer, I realized how much I would have gotten at the 9 ,000.

57:42And something that is just a principle is today's price is not tomorrow's. The price is always changing. And the sooner, and this is why it's so important to have that draw to the person, you know, devour their content, binge their stuff. And if someone has a connection, there's probably a reason for that. I actually think there's like ordinance in that. I think it says in Isaiah, I will no longer hide your teachers from you no more. And there is actually the, if God's going to do something in your life, he's going to use a person. And if the devil is going to do something in your life, it's going to be through a person.

58:22So to have the discernment to know when somebody is your person, but really cool, even how you talk about the dialogue you and your husband had, because that's one of the biggest objections is, hey, babe, can I do this? Or how can we do this? Can you speak to the husband and wife dynamic of business? I don't know. I don't know if y 'all are ready. I don't know if y 'all are ready. It's very divisive. But here's the thing. Okay. When we started creating this program, It was a shift who I primarily serve our entrepreneur seven figure entrepreneurs wanting to scale to eight that has been like my jam my bread and butter like the thing I love to do it lights me up.

59:08And then I thought that I have a skill set and I have a megaphone to speak to a generation of people who want and can step up. And I felt called to it literally the pulling. I was like, that's not really that's not really where I was going. And I just kind of being pulled to serve this person. And I was like, okay, how can you build a business that's no longer you? And forgive me, I use the word dancing monkey or like Seabiscuit. Go perform. When you perform, the business takes off. And I was like, I don't want that business anymore. I'm exhausted. And do we have a business or is this a fan club?

59:44That's a hard question to answer. Because when you pride yourself on being an entrepreneur, but your business is based on you performing, is that really a business? And that was the two years of just uncoupling. Who are you? And who do you say I am? And so I was like, how do I build a business that's no longer on me, the driver, the performer, and all these other things? The business was stripped away for this offer and say, this is where we experiment. And this is where I'm cutting away to go all in and build this thing. And so in terms of that, I got on the phone with hundreds and hundreds of people.

1:00:16Now, most often and most likely, it was a vast majority of women. It just met and it's totally fine. People find their people. I might not be a guy's person. Totally fine. Not a big, not a big deal. it's just a lot of women started coming to me and the thing i saw again and again and again was that they had to check with their husbands and i'm big distinction between support and permission and every man that i spoke to there was never a mention not once that i need to consult my wife and that's the state of it and the reason dang it's like this is where it becomes super divisive. But I'm in it, I see it, and I'm going to call it.

1:00:59There is a system and there is a structure where money is power. And if there is a person who runs the money, they have the power. And women who would like a seat at the table in order to make money have to invest money, most often than not. And if they are not given that money, granted that money, gifted that money without the other person coming balk, balk, balking, why hasn't it been done? You've done this before. You've tried before. How can anybody succeed under those circumstances? So when I talk about this, I want a program for everybody out there. If you have, like, you think that you have nothing special to say, and I'm here to say you do.

1:01:36It's so special. You actually don't realize it. You think that your gift is everybody else's norm and it's not. So our team is there to guide. What is your special? What is your sabor? What is your secret sauce? Right? What are you going to put out into the world? I believe everybody has it. If you choose to believe otherwise, no problem. That's not you. You can fight for your limitations. I'm not going to co-sign. I believe that everybody has something in them. But if you have a partner who is constantly talking down or controlling what it is you do, how can you ever move past the state of life that you're in?

1:02:04And so, yeah, when I see women go through a 90-day program and make back the money that they made in the program, you're off to the freaking races. And what do the women say, Omar? They're not wanting to invest in crypto. They're not trying to buy properties. They want to retire their husband. They want to send their kids to private school. They want to pay for vacations. And they want to give to charity. Wow. Nothing bad has happened when women get money. I would like for the world to see that nothing happens when women have money. And unfortunately, it's very, very, very difficult for it to happen.

1:02:46Wow, that was powerful. Come on. I think this is a proper time for me to publicly honor my wife. Do it. Let's go. Babe, I just want to honor you. I have the text thread when I was sitting in the room where I heard the offer. Just to just to put it back or just a backtrack backtrack. Thank you. Just a backtrack. I felt like there was a season for us as a family and I felt a draw to a human being online Myron golden he throws a an event an in-person event and I just something in me is like I'm supposed to be in that room and it started there where Amanda said hey I believe this is going to be different for us let's book a first class ticket and let's put you in the most expensive room yes I'm like, the wife speaks.

1:03:43No, but that meant the world, that there was a unity even in that. It's like, yeah, let's do it. And then I have the text back and forth while I'm sitting in the offer and she screenshots our bank account and it's not enough. And she says, we could pull out a loan, whatever, I trust you. like I am a product of the yes that day and we're talking offline about all the things that have happened but like that was such a pivotal moment and the dialogue that I had with my wife is where their true credit goes and when I think about how many times an opportunity takes place which is why uh we recently in the first time in 12 and a half years we had we got a marriage counselor, not because our marriage is falling because we want to preventative maintenance, but even more so, I found that if you can deal with the home life and when I say deal with increased intimacy, health, openness, all that, then as a byproduct, your business will blow up.

1:04:52Absolutely. And if you think that you could fix a business problem without fixing the bed problem, what's gonna happen is resentment's gonna happen. I've just seen it. I've seen it where you, as an entrepreneur, you go into your space and place of work and you're worshiped. And then you go home and you're not. You shouldn't be. It's your home. And I actually think the real work is in the home and the play should be business. But I'm saying all this to say that the partnership of marriage, It's the gods ordained the promise for your life. It's actually a collective promise, not individual. And so I think fighting for these conversations with your spouse and clearing these things up and not the status quo of what we've been prescribed and what we see out there.

1:05:43Thanks for sharing that. That was really powerful. And one thing I want to be clear, I'm not like a, I am woman, hear me where I'm going to move without my husband. My husband and I are teammates. We're teammates. And so I'm looking for his support, not for his permission, because in our relationship, we have clearly identified certain things where we're 50-50 partners on everything. Every bank account, we're 50, every holding company, 50-50. But in certain things, we're 51-49 because you can't have a two-headed horse. So 51 % for marketing, brand, that's all me. 51 % for finances, long-term planning, that's going to be him.

1:06:19So he doesn't need to ask my permission about whether or not he's going to sell things in the stock market. I trust him and he trusts me. I want to be informed. He wants to be informed, but that is how we continue to grow and evolve. Yeah, great. Proverbs 31, his heart trusts in her. That like, there's just a deeper, and I think that's powerful because it allows you to move quick. So he, one would say you're the breadwinner because the business that you started, you're the CEO of the business uh how I mean that's just like a another dynamic I think that would help a lot of women I know you shared a little bit but um what ask away I'm like an open book I think my hesitation is how do you stay in that nurturing mother role by but also showing up to business meetings and you got put on absolutely um one thing that this is the first year that I've been open about talking about it because I don't actually whatever you talk about you're going to ask questions about and people can have opinions and like have all the opinions you want about like how I look, who I am, my business.

1:07:27But you, if you have opinions about my husband and daughter, I will crawl through the internet and shank you. Like, so if I don't want people talking about that, I don't talk about it. And this year, a lot of questions have been coming around like motherhood and entrepreneurship. And I'm like, listen, I'm not the mompreneur. Like you're not coming to me for that advice. I have a very atypical life. I've made atypical decisions and we get atypical outcomes as a result of it. So I don't think that the way that I'm doing it is right. It's just right for us. So we just talked about that 51-49. My husband is 51 for our daughter.

1:08:00He took a step back in the business where he was running just as hard as I was. And he said, we want a full-time present parent with our daughter and I want to be that person because the business can't be without you and the business can be without me. but the role that he plays is a hundred percent strategy the guy sits at you know 300 000 feet and he sees the game from above and when i'm on the field and so we have we had this relationship we were teammates we were on the fields together and i always knew that i can never date a man who was going to be my cheerleader someone else on the sideline i believe in you babe like oh no no no like i can't like what i need is i need you on the field with me and then all of a sudden things changed and he now sitting in the stadium box as a coach so he's up there being like i see this i see this i see this and every time he calls like a play like figuratively and literally speaking he's right and in like the last two years that he stepped in fourth and foremost as her primary caretaker he's been right on every single call so now i'm like coach let's go tell me what what do i do so anything that's good in the business has been has been because of his foresight and vision for things I cannot see.

1:09:09But I am an entrepreneur who's a mom. I'm not a mom who's an entrepreneur. So even though I work from home and I get to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner with my daughter, and I get to do bath time, I get to do bedtime, I get to do reading time, I get to go to the park. If I wanted to get extra long lunch to take her around on her unicorn bicycle, yes, I get to do that. What an honor and a privilege. But make no mistake, when it is the workday, I am working. And if there is something needed That is where my husband is at that point in time. It doesn't work for everybody. I know that It just happens to work for us and we're getting outsized results as as a byproduct now.

1:09:44Here's the thing I'm out here in vegas and one thing that we said every single year We're going to revisit this but the goal was if i'm going to be away more than one night I want them coming with me and he was like heck. Yes, I co-sign And so we travel everywhere together if i'm gone for more than a night I love that beautiful and could you share i think it's really cool why you're in vegas right now can you share why you're in vegas right oh come on you're really gonna make me cry like i'm all i have it all together i have it all together and then the minute i talk about her the minute i talk about no i'm good i'm good so uh the year is 2020 and we started an adoption process in 2017 and we knew that that's where we felt called and three years into it it's at the end of 2019 and I look at my husband and I'm like, I think I'm tapped out.

1:10:32I think I'm done waiting. And he said, yeah, I think I am too. And so we get a call after waiting three years and they say, baby girl is born in Las Vegas, get in the car and go. So we, we have nothing. We have no diapers, car seat, crib. We have nothing. We just get in the car and we go. We come to Las Vegas and we meet our daughter for the first time, and I am telling you, Omar, it was like, I know it sounds crazy, but it's just my truth. When I had opened the door and the baby was in the carrier, hand to heaven, I just felt power, like radiate from this child. And then I picked her up and I worried deeply, am I going to feel connected to her?

1:11:18Is she going to feel connected to me? There's a lot of biological stuff that happens between women and babies. And she did not come of me. And the minute I held her, she just, she was my soul child. I knew immediately the baby girl grabbed onto my hand. My husband took a picture of it, grabbed onto my finger, immediately took a bottle. And I was like, I'm done. Like anything else in this whole wide world, I am so done. 2020 was the year of the Superbowl. So February 2nd was the Superbowl in 2020. and JLo and Shakira performed because, you know. Dang, I thought it was just Shakira. Well, no, no, no.

1:12:00No, no, no. No, because actually it has to take two Latinas to take place of a white male performer. Hey. That's what they had said. When they were performing, I had a baby in my hands and I was dancing and that felt more successful than anything I had ever done in my entire life. and I think that people often look around her situation and how we met those it's a very complicated very complicated situation and they'll always say she's so lucky and I immediately correct them we are the lucky ones she's guided us she's made us purposeful she hasn't grounded us she has been the reason the business has taken off the way that it should because me stepping back allowing the team to thrive that there are better people doing better things in better ways than I ever could.

1:12:49Without her, I would not be me. And so every year, February 2nd, we come back to Las Vegas. We stay in the same room at the same hotel. We go to the same restaurants and we do the same thing and we say this is the day we became a family. And we will continue to do that until she asks us to do otherwise. So beautiful. Wow. You're the best. What an awesome human you are. If you guys want to ask a question, you can find your way here. I do have a little bit of rapid fire kind of vibes. Let's go. These should maybe Maybe do well in the algorithm just because that's just what tends to happen. You're already pre-cutting them.

1:13:24I was like, oh, shoot. Oh, shoot. Again, yeah. If you guys literally have a genuine question, don't feel ashamed. This room is safe. All that stuff. So just fill in this blank. You don't have a business if you don't. Release control. Short form or long form content. Both however you can. Why? Pick one. Well, long form is for conversion and short form is for attention. One good long form will do a longer term conversion than one viral short form. It's really good. Why do you have a podcast? Well, I get to meet cool people, number one. And then I create long form by way of conversation. So I get to insert my perspective and ask questions from the other person too.

1:14:13That's really good. Should you start your online business selling high ticket or should you start your online business selling low ticket? If you have an audience already, go high ticket. If you don't have an audience and without an offer, I would suggest starting low and then working your way up. What's your philosophy on doing free work? Oh, I think you should give your best work away for free. The conversion will happen after somebody trusts you. Once they trust you, they already experienced your best stuff. Now they're willing to do the work. That's good.

1:14:45just i'm i'm i'm i'm viral farming with this question okay okay is it easier to be a woman in business or harder to be a woman in business it's a matter of perspective being a woman could be a disadvantage or an advantage i have chosen to believe that it is an advantage and i will leverage it for all that it's worth and if you tell me otherwise i will choose to say that i respectively disagree but i'm out here with high heels and long lashes like breathing down like if you don't feel my lashes when I blink, I'm doing it wrong. So good. I love that. I just love that you even got ready. Oh, yeah.

1:15:18I mean, guys don't get ready like that, you know? Well, how you do one thing is how you do everything. Hey, come on. When I do an interview, we have a video interview. If you show up with, like, your hair tossed and, like, a hoodie, how you do one thing is how you do everything. Our core value is extraordinary is our baseline. If you don't treat this Zoom call like you're extraordinary, this team is not for you. So good. core values, did you always have core values for your business or did you create them? The minute we crossed seven figures and then that's when we started like hiring a small team, I was like, well, what are we about?

1:15:50Like, how do I hold people to? So core values, like at first, like we think that they sound nice, but they're actually become a barometer in which we hold people to. So when we have like your annual meeting, we sit down with our core values and then we ask you like plus check or minus. And then like their manager or their superior will sit there and grade them. And then if you turn around and you're like, oh, you know, excellence, extraordinary is our baseline and we play to win and we own it and then your manager gives you just checks marks and a minus and you give yourself pluses there's like a misalignment so it gives us an opportunity to say this is where you got to step up because your version of extraordinary is not our version so we're going to explain it to you we're going to put you on a pip a performance improvement plan we're going to give you clear metrics and kpis that you're going to walk away from with what to do we're going to give you 90 days to do it we're going to walk you through every step if at the end of the 90 days we decide to terminate it's not has anything to do with you we just have a bar and we're going to ask do you have it in you to meet that bar so good that that's not the way my brain naturally works and so i've learned i gotta hire that out you know and so i'm excited today it was a i hired my coo shout out to annabelle ingleton that was a big deal good big deal so yeah the 90 day pips okay go on uh two books that changed your life oh uh so i'm a big reader so i think that because it's like a business podcast i should talk about like business books that changed my life um um the the war of art by steven pressfield it's tiny it's so good it's just magical really good kick in the pants and the big leap by gay hendrix like incredible those two books oh and also the third one 10x is easier than 2x that was my most recent like that one it's like i've listened to it for the third time over like it's just bananas so the crazy thing is is like we created this new offer so my husband and i have a holding company jasmine star brands and then underneath the holding company we have like a sass offering we have our consulting so i'm an advisor for companies where i have an equity stake in and so we have all of these different llcs so with this new llc this is when i took the two years to be like what are you doing and how are you doing and what's the team that's going to be around you it's like i had to go back and say leave everything and how you built in the past and then I used Dr.

1:18:02Benjamin Hardy's book, 10X is Easier Than 2X, than to say I'm only making 10X decisions. I am trying to build another eight-figure revenue stream in one year on this one offer. That's crazy. That's crazy. And if I miss it by 3 million, I'll be okay too. But I'm like, you have to make these decisions to say, how do we break and buck what we know in order to go real big? And so this is just like a petri dish of an experiment for us to do that. That's good. You mentioned that SaaS company. What is this SaaS company? Social Curator. okay it started off as a membership and then in 2021 like people are like there's a lot of friction because we want to post our marketing content onto tiktok and instagram and linkedin and so in order for us to do that we had to build our own api so we brought in a tech team we like just turned everything inside out to make sure that people can do and take what they want and post sweet i love that and then last one before we get into a couple of questions and then we'll wrap this so you can take some photos of people um what's the biggest difference between you and bianca your twin oh Oh, well, like, she's like, you know, Deepak and I'm like Tupac.

1:19:01You know, she's like, she's like, you know, you know, she's holy. I'm a little hood. We are. Okay. So we are fraternal twins. Most people think that we're identical. And if you don't know my sister, she is the nice one. She is gregarious. She's like syrup, you know, like and buddy the elf. It's like you just around her and you just want more of her. And she's vivacious and she draws people in and she's magnetic. and she is a butterfly in a room full of moths, I am happily the wallflower. I am happily a judge before I proceed. I think before I speak. Bianca collects pennies as friends and I collect quarters.

1:19:44Fewer, the better. We couldn't be more different. But literally, the two of us from the womb, Ying and Yang, everything that you see of my sister, I am the antithesis of. and yet she's like my absolute best friend, best sneaking human. Like I'm like, how am I related to you? Like we are so different and I'm so lucky that she has my life. Like the best thing ever. I found that sibling, as we get older, having a strong, healthy sibling relationship is rare because stuff comes in and people start drifting away. It's really one of the most treasured relationships I have is with my siblings, especially with the year we walked through last year, which built the bond even more.

1:20:22and I just have a gnarly desire to leverage this business to draw our kids together and create healthy memories because everything I'm doing in counseling and therapy is like undoing the memories that happen. So if we can get ahead of it as parents and create a reality that just only blesses their brains, then I want to do that. And so if somebody's listening and they have a desire to start relationship with their siblings and it feels a little wonky, like I'm raising my hand, And it's right there with you. And I think that I just decided to make a commitment. And I make a commitment well in advance to put something on the calendar.

1:20:56And I always said, whoever can come, you're welcome. But this is what's going to be. It's going to be a meal. We're going to do something. It's going to be a meal. We're going to do something. And so I think it just starts off with the intentionality of making yourself open. And then some conversations end up with old wounds being hashed open. And then you've got to work through the work thereafter. But I think that we're so much better because of the intentionality behind meeting and knowing each other as adults. That was like a big change. So good. Great. Well, let's take a couple of questions and just start with my question is, and then roll into the question.

1:21:29Awesome. Thank you so much. My question is going 10X in a business that you already have established, what is your wisdom on burnout? So my philosophy, and it's very divisive, is that burnout exists when you're not getting enough wins. And so we're not afraid of doing the work. We're afraid of doing the work and always getting a lackluster result. So we're burning out. But if you are doing the work and getting the results, you're not actually burnt out. So what I've learned is to ask myself, what do I need to do differently? Because what this is, is resulting in me burning out and not getting a result.

1:22:04Now, I know everybody has different ways of doing those things, but I know my capacity. If I'm in my capacity, I feel burnt. I was like, something's not right here. And it is 100 % figuring out what's wrong, what do I need to change because too many losses in a row, they will do something to me. Beautiful. Thank you so much. Thank you. I appreciate you. Hi. My question is, how do you scale or grow your business when you are the business or the face of the business? Everybody sees you. You are the coach. How do you then grow that business without you having to be the person that is the business?

1:22:37Yes. So, okay. So I told you how I was reading that book and I had to understand how do I scale me? And the clear path for me was to create a team of coaches. And we had never done that before. And I was scared because what are you going to control how somebody is actually coaching somebody else? And what we did is we created a framework. We created a coaching system. We created somebody watching every single call that is happening, me speaking with the coaches, them going through the curriculum. And then we have to trust. And then we have to trust. So the way that we will be able to, God willing, pass eight figures in a year is because we're no longer straddled by just me.

1:23:17So I, in fact, have somebody who's heading the entire coaching department. She is responsible for KPIs. She is responsible for people's success rate. She is responsible for what people are saying at the end of the program. And I check in with her. And so in order for us to get something far bigger, I have to be less, less, less inside of business. So I'm outside of operations. I'm outside of client success. I'm outside of sales. I'm outside of marketing. I now report and say, what do I need to do to get where we want to go? And then I say super high level, what are we doing? What are we doing?

1:23:49Where are we going? Where are we going? And then what do I need to do? Small ways in the business to keep it moving forward. But the goal is to have its own brand in its own way that exists without me in three years. Thank you so much. Thank you. So good uh that's probably one of my limiting beliefs right now is that um people are here because of me people buy because of me i'm the one coaching i brought up this question to russell brunson something interesting he said he said actually his his thing is the the title of the person so his thing was don't hire coaches hire facilitators it's kind of like if you create a framework and what and he's coming from a place of experience he's like i would see a client that I've never met.

1:24:33And they're like, yeah, no, so I did. So the so-and-so told me to do this. And he's like, no, why would they tell you to do that? So, uh, his, that like that level, he would say the facilitator, it's like just someone who's good with people who knows the framework and knows the curriculum. And then they can just point on those calls and I'll get back to you, which was like a really cool freeing word for me as someone who is, I do love coaching, but I know at some point there will be a level where I will scale this group or or a group that there will be a next group because but and then like I would encourage you to say like how much more could your students succeed by having accountability so we call them accountability coaches so I am we actively say we don't want you to take any other frameworks that you brought in from any other coaching programs all we want you to do is to follow our framework and your job is to move the distractions or the pitfalls that are getting people's way and then ask when are you going to get this done and if they say Thursday you're connecting with them say hey did we get this done why not what happened great when are we gonna get in get it in tomorrow I need you you turn it into me I'm gonna green light it how are they green lining according against the curriculum so we're literally just having them guide everybody just stick to the curriculum because we know that this curriculum gets a result fire hey my question is based around your belief that everyone has a gift that just how hard do they want to work to get it right yes and so if if you had you were talking to someone they were having trouble determining what that gift was what questions would you ask them to help them identify that gift oh do i mean can we like workshop a little bit sure okay um so if i asked you to step on this stage and give a 15 minute talk about something what would it be um a couple things that's maybe one of the distractions is like I have a lot of things.

1:26:16Okay, well, we'll work through it. So I specialize in koi ponds. Koi ponds? And I specialize in helping coaches communicate clearly to their clients. I mean, to contractors specifically. Let's stick with those two. So you're a koi pond specialist. Yes. And you help? Well, so I build low-maintenance water features for people in koi and water features so that people can relax in their backyard. So that's my specialty. But I've been doing it for 25 years, And so now I'm helping other contractors are like, how did you get this far? How can you help me get that far as well? And so I have a hard time helping those contractors identify their strengths.

1:26:53Does that make sense? Absolutely. But dude, you're in sales. You help like you help other people increase their overall value for what they're installing. Yeah. So I, if I do what you do and I want to make more money, I go to you. You should be charging me at minimum$5 ,000 an hour to share what you've learned and what you know. And better yet, if we can put this into a four to six step framework of what you need to do and who you need to become in order to do those upsells, I would have you record it. Have somebody sell them into a high ticket program like$2 ,000. They go through the program and then once a week you go in and you answer questions.

1:27:36You help Koi Pond specialists increase their ticket value by 3x. the transformation is not just the ticket value it's who they become in the process because many times people have a hard time charging people for more because they have a system of self-belief so part of your curriculum is going to be part belief and then part this is the things that you have to do and then when they get a result and they get a high ticket value they come back and be like this guy's the man the problem is i think you know it's it's helping the i feel like i have to become a psychologist because i have to break their mindset as they come through the welcome to the club bro that's it that's it i know i know i know thank you thank you very much and i would encourage you i would encourage you to go through and start reading just very basic cursory psychology mindset personal development books because what you'll do is you'll go through a proven book and a framework and the average koi spawn koi pond specialist will not be able to digest the way that you will but you're evolved i can immediately tell like you're vibrating brother like you have a deep care and you have a deep skill set now what you can do is you can get somebody else's framework in citation hey this framework is from dr x but now let's going to put it here for koi pond specialists this is who you need to be this is how you need to act this is who you need to become but i i even said it like 30 minutes ago we got to break the frame of somebody who thinks that they can believe that they can get consistent 10k months that's half the battle yeah thank you thank you you're good come on thank you hello hello hello so um kind of a loaded question to a degree so um comment you said earlier was about long jumping over yourself like you basically have developed a skill so first question being how did you develop that because i feel like myself and other entrepreneurs we kind of get stuck in our own way of overthinking over analyzing and i love the way you said it you not only jump over you long jump to complete it so that's the first one and if i recall you say you screenshot comments from like haters stuff like that that's like the opposite of what most people you know most people kind of run from that stuff you're like embracing it screenshot and putting it in a folder just Just walk us through a little bit of the thought process to get to where you're at with those two statements.

1:29:40Well, first and foremost, it's embarrassing. I'm petty. I'm petty. I don't forget. I don't forget. Now, the ones that hurt, I say, thank you. I'm going to change because that kernel of truth that went song. Give me once. Give me twice. Not going to happen. Now, the other ones, sometimes I'll just open it up. I'll be like, your dad should go back to Mexico. Well, he here now and he fought for your freedom to say that. you know about my my looks yeah people will go after where they think your achilles heel will be and i'm like you see i don't care that you think i look like a man because i got a man and my man has bible goggles he thinks i'm fine as all get out nobody's got to think i'm cute he's done he's done drank the kool-aid and if he thinks i'm good and baby girl thinks i'm good I don't care what you think about me.

1:30:32I just don't care. And nobody better than me is talking trash about me. The first part is how did I develop the skill of long jumping? I always hear people say, you got to do the work. You got to do the work. I was like, the work? I can do the work. What's the work? Like, what is the work? Tell me what the work is. I'll do it. And first and foremost, it's going to be an openness of saying, I am willing to face the demons in my closet. it. I'm willing to own that. I have a lot of stuff to work through. I started working with a therapist when I didn't necessarily feel like I had anything to go through.

1:31:05Cause I was like, people say about doing the work, but like, I want to do the work. What does that even mean? And be careful what you ask for is having conversations with parents. It's asking and demanding answers that betray somebody's trust. And then you have to uncouple what that means, because what we have is a subconscious belief and story that has been programmed since we were about seven years old. So my beliefs about money, my beliefs about relationships, my belief with trust, my belief with who's going to hurt me. I would walk, I was my own bottleneck to my own expansion because I would walk around and be like, you're going to hurt me.

1:31:38You're going to screw me over. And for years I did this and I didn't start understanding like, where did I develop this? And the minute I start unpacking that, I have to forgive people who are no longer in my life. I have to apologize to that little girl who was so hurt beyond what I thought was repair. I have to have conversations and reconciliations and then I have to choose to accept the people in my life Who I felt deeply hurt me and still won't apologize. Yeah And when you start looking at yourself through that lens and say I accept the terms of this relationship Even if it's unhealthy or even i'm going to end it because it's no longer healthy Yeah, that's good that started opening me up for big jumps I began to trust myself and whenever I would hear a narrative of like, oh the money's gonna go away Don't waste the money.

1:32:20I was like oh it's the little girl who saw her parents lose their house and cut up their credit cards she's okay she's okay make the decision so it was really uncoupling what was happening in the past and the stories were in my mind and so now i look at something and i'm like i wake up every day like just yesterday morning the day like zero two zero two our big this is like our super bowl and then something came in from the business caught me sideways and i was like oh my gosh and i was like no that's old you that's the push you the pull you is who here in this organization is going to step up because you see i'm out of office and who here is going to be the next level leader and version because i'm learning jump yourself you are not everybody's problem solver anymore as a child i was the eldest of five children in an immigrant family and the story i told myself is you will be responsible my mom was very sick all the time so i was responsible So I took over responsibility within a team.

1:33:18It wasn't until you do the work that you're like, why am I doing this? It doesn't serve anybody. And so long jumping comes from looking from the inside out, addressing what needs to be changed, and then learning how to trust yourself and separate yourself from the old stories and then step into the new story. That's beautiful. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you. Last question. Sorry, my guy. Yeah. Yeah. No, I feel like we got two minutes. Okay. Yeah. I love how as an eight-figure entrepreneur, you talk about how success is really a product of a graveyard of failures. So how would you, what advice would you have for people that are in a season of failing forward?

1:34:05How do they keep the faith when they have no evidence to show that they're going to be successful? Number one, I have been there more times than I can count. And if you ask any other entrepreneur and they were being honest with you, they would say that they have traversed multiple graveyards of lessons and failures. The question becomes, if you deeply believe that you have been called to serve a specific person in a specific way, and you release the attachments of what it's supposed to look like, then you will be moving closer to your success oftentimes people think that if 10 people bought then i'm a success maybe if one person bought you're a success and what are you going to do with that one person how do you turn that one into 500 into 500 000 it begins with one and so first and foremost how do you walk through a graveyard by being called by the vision that has been put inside you and then releasing what success has been defined by others and you asking yourself, what is success for me?

1:35:05Truly, truly, what do you need to believe that you can accomplish what you've been put here to do? If it's one person, say it's one person and also say, I would like 10, but let's keep the real thing. The real thing is people will say, well, if I sold six and they only sold four, then it's a failure. That is four X anything you've ever done in the past. So how about we just celebrate that and say, what are we going to learn? How are we going to get better and how we can do this again and double it. Thank you. So good. Come on. Thank you for the questions. Awesome. Awesome questions. Let's give it up for Jasmine Star.

1:35:42Come on. Get up on your feet. Thank you so much. You're the bomb. Thank you, Omar.
