0:12I'm so grateful to you all truly for coming out and spending this night with us I really genuinely feel like it's more important right now than ever you know for all the reasons and it took courage for all of you to come so I'm really grateful I'm grateful that you listen to the show or watch it and that we have a relationship that feels totally intimate and authentic in a weird, unusual, but authentic way it's funny because I don't get out enough you know I say this on the show but I spend most of my time in my studio and with my family I'm not doing a ton of red carpet events but I feel like God lets you know every once in a while what you need you know like God tells you that little voice tells you to get out there because you need something like when I went and I spoke for Trump the night before the vote.
1:00I knew I needed to do it. And then when I went and I spoke for Trump the day before he was inaugurated in Washington, D.C., that was crazy. It was such an honor. And I remember we pulled up to the auditorium and it was just this huge arena. And this one guy came over to me and he's like, oh my God, I'm such a huge fan. I love you. My mom loves you. And I'm like, oh, thank you, thank you, thank you. And he's like, seriously, I'm your number one fan, would you mind giving me an autograph and a picture? I'm like, sure, sure, sure. And he's going on and on, and I'm like, I still got it. This is amazing.
1:35And he walks away, and my head has grown two sizes, and he goes, I can't believe I just met Carrie Underwood.
1:45What the? What? So what God thought I needed was a little humble pie. Okay, message received. I got it. Anyway, I'm so happy to be together tonight because I am feeling super optimistic right now. I was thinking about this time last year. Okay, so what are we in? October? Yes, we're still in October. We hadn't yet had the vote. We didn't know how it was going to turn out. You know, it was like now it seems so obvious that Trump was going to beat that Nimrod. But at the time, the polls were like tight. You know, we had a lot to worry about. And right now, I just feel so enthusiastic about where the country's going.
2:24Aren't you so... Like, thank God Donald Trump is in office. Yes. Honestly, I am down on my knees thanking God for that fact every day. And it's not just Trump. You know, look at the dream team around him, right? Like, I know Trump hasn't even been in office for a year, but we're already starting to think a little bit about J.D., right? Are we good enough people to have those eight years follow these four years? I think we might be. I think we deserve it. We've earned it. Marco, amazing too. What about that ticket? I'd vote for that in a New York Minute. And it's not just those two, right? We've got Tulsi.
3:09We've got RFKJ. Like, making a real difference. Poor RFKJ gets such terrible press no matter where you turn. But do you know that he's the most popular cabinet member? Isn't that crazy? So like universally bad press, like Elon level press, but he's the most popular cabinet member. And that's because no one's listening to the mainstream media anymore.
3:33That's it. So thank God people are waking up and starting to pay attention to what's really going on in this country because we, the left is more unhinged than ever. All right. We know that. That's obvious. They've gone from, like, back when I was on Fox, we used to talk about political correctness. Now it's insane wokeness, which is way more pernicious, like, way more dangerous, and like a new cult religion that's, like, satanic. They used to call John McCain a racist. Okay. Mitt Romney a sexist. Sure, Jan. Right? And now we've graduated to Hitler with Trump. like they're just doubling and tripling, quadrupling down on all this crazy messaging.
4:20We went from a left that wanted to take away our guns to a left that is now cheering for guns when they're used against conservatives. I mean, that is sick. That's fucking sick. And it's real. Like, I couldn't believe, could not believe the number of people who cheered when Trump got shot. The number of people at these No Kings rallies who were saying, oh, we need better assassins. You know, wish he hadn't turned his head or cholesterol, do your job. And then, of course, is what happened to poor Charlie. I love all you people wearing the Freedom shirts out there tonight. Thank you for representing.
5:02I know everybody is still hurting about Charlie. And I know so many people here tonight went through that with me. Like, we went through that together. You know, the day Charlie was shot, we had gone off the air. You know, we do this show live on SiriusXM, so we were live those two hours, and then I went back to my desk, and my team said, oh my God, Charlie, there's a shooting at a Charlie Kirk event. And you know, you hear that in today's day and age, and you think, oh, it's like, sadly, it's kind of commonplace. We didn't think anybody had been shot. And then the next report was Nosomoshah and it was Charlie.
5:39And we were like, we've got to go back in the air immediately. And it wasn't because we wanted downloads or in any way to exploit what was happening. It was because I felt really strongly that you needed me and I needed you.
5:58I just knew if we're going to have to get through this, if something's happened, we're going to want to do it together. and I knew there wasn't a single viewer of our show who was going to want to take that news from CNN or MSNBC.
6:16Charlie's death has been so rattling to all of us, me on a personal level, and I'm sure all of you guys who felt like you knew him because he came on the show once a month, sometimes more, and I went on his show. And there is a way of genuinely getting to know somebody in that way. You know, it's like, it's a real friendship. The only thing that's made me feel better since he passed was the news this week that Bible sales have gone up 37%.
6:45And you've seen the revival of faith in churches across this country. Charlie would be so proud of that. And I too. You know, you guys, I've had my struggle with faith because I believe, but I have been trying to get this annulment of my first marriage. It's very strange to say to a perfect stranger why your first marriage failed and get him to say you can undo it. It's like, what am I? I don't understand. Maybe I'm really an evangelical, not a Catholic. I don't know. So I've been going through it, but I will say Charlie's passing has renewed even my commitment. And you guys have been so great.
7:21You sent me all these suggested books and so on, and I bought them all. I just finished Lee Strobel's The Case for Christ. Thank you. I got that from you guys. And now I'm reading the whole series. And actually, somebody, one of the audience recommended that Charlie had been reading. I'm reading it right now. Why can't I write? It's like one of the most famous books on earth, like Man for Meaning. What is it? The Man's Search for Meaning. Thank you very much, by Viktor Frankl. So I'm reading that now. So thanks to all of you. In any event, look, We've got to find our faith. If there's no faith, that's how you wind up with the woke mind virus, right?
8:02That was an antidote to people who needed something in their hearts and their heads after they shut out God. But I feel like our side, the side of reason, still has God, and we need him now more than ever. And we need to stay awake, not woke, not like Kamala said, but awake, because we slept a little too long while they were passing laws to make sure teachers could trans our kids without involving us. You know, we slept a little too long when we let the left take over Race messaging and telling our kids they were bad because they were white or less than because they were black and it was never Overcomable like we were a little asleep at the switch, but we're back now And we're going to need every single one of you To fight the good fight as we go forward because it's not over It's not over by a long shot But looking at you, I know we got it So thank you for being here now.
8:51We're going to do a little something fun. We're going to do some q a Do you want to do some Q &A? We have a couple minutes before we're going to bring out Jesse and Don Jr. But let's take a little question from the audience. Yes, sit in the front row of your life. Go ahead. Come on up here. Fire one at me.
9:12Hi, Megan. Hi. Love you. Love you. Listen every day. Thank you. Big fan. Lived in Connecticut. Moved to Texas. Right on. maybe you should follow if you're considering it um I guess my question is I have a seventh grader and a sixth grader and how do we direct our younger children into their high school maybe college years how do we steer them in the right direction well I mean there's a lot there Of course, the number one thing is just love on them. Love and love and love. And that will solve most of the problems. I do think go to church every week. Make sure you don't leave that void unfulfilled because somebody else will fill it.
10:03And I do think now, you know, my kids now, our kids are 16, 14, and 12. Boy, girl, boy. And the boys are at a great school that's not woke and wonderful. But our daughter's at a school that's more woke than we would like. and while we do get involved when they veer too far left, there are some advantages to sending your child to a somewhat woke school. Not super woke because that's abusive, but somewhat woke because they're still in your house and you can work with them to counter-program. So it's almost like inoculating them before the lunatics on college campuses get a hold of them. You know, I don't think you should send them off there without any basic, you know, skills to recognize the woke mind virus when they're exposed to it and to understand indoctrination and how it works.
10:51So that's my basic thought on it. Yeah, but love is number one. Hi there, yes. How are you?
11:01Hi. Hi. So I had heard at Fox News the management and producers had caused tension between a lot of the hosts. Is that true? Like intentionally to cause them to be separate? Well, I can only speak to the Roger Ailes era because, you know, he was gone basically when I left. And Roger never tried to cause friction between the talent, but he definitely caused friction between the executives. He wanted them to stay off balance. And I think it's in part because he didn't want a clear successor to himself. It was like a power, you know, move. But I don't think he really pitted the talent against each other.
11:35And there's maybe some here and there, but for the most part, he was more focused on the dynamics with the executives. And I would say in general at Fox, the talent was very supportive of one another and really quite lovely. NBC, not exactly the same? Yeah. Hi, how are you? Hi. So I'm a high schooler and I will be a first-time voter at the next presidential election. Yes, they're all with you. And I was wondering how I could become like an educated voter with such a biased media. And how would you suggest handling that kind of stuff? obviously. Obviously, you should be listening to the Megyn Kelly show and AM update every day.
12:17That's number one. Now, you're busier in high school, so at least just take an AM update, which is usually about 16 minutes long, and we'll give you the day's headlines without leftist spin. I do think it's important to take in some news from the left just so you can hear how crazy they are, because you need to make decisions in your life, and it's good to see what the other side is offering. It's like that juicy steak is going to look a lot better to you when you see some disgusting rotted fish on the other plate. So maybe sample some NPR. I don't know. The New York Times, The Daily, whatever.
12:47What's the opposite of me? Both of those. But yeah, keep taking in lots of information and definitely if you want to branch out beyond the Megyn Kelly show, go to PragerU. They've got a lot of short little videos that are quick hits, quick educators for somebody like you who just wants to bone up on the day's issues. Good luck. Love your hat. Thank you. Hi, Megan. It is an honor to have you here in Houston. Truly, we are all blessed. Thank you. Megan, my name is Will Moray. I'm the treasurer here at our TPUSA chapter at University of Houston. Go, Turning Point.
13:33Megan, from the university staff, we are facing issues when it comes to getting certain rooms. We had issues with our bank. And as treasurer, as one of our officers, I'm up here to ask for your advice. We're facing some other issues as well. And to cut to it, how should we handle what essentially feels like bullying from Renu Couture, our president, and the staff beneath here at University of Houston? Okay. So here's the first thing you should do every time that happens to you. Say thank you. Thank you. this is why we're so much stronger than the other side. Everyone here has had this happen to them, right?
14:12In one way, shape, or form. It's not okay to be a conservative. It's not okay to say your true views. You can't be affiliated with Turning Point. You can't like Charlie Kirk. Your group can't form here. There's more red tape for you than there. Say thank you. This is how you're going to be stronger than everyone who you oppose on these issues. We can't get superhero muscles without going through this shit. It's unfortunate, but it's the only way we can do it. And let me give you an example of what I'm talking about. Do you remember that? Of course you remember the Katie Porter interview last month.
14:41She's an angry, angry woman. Shoot it into my veins. You wind up a Katie Porter if you don't have that stuff happen to you, right? When you sit down, you finally like get some mild follow-ups and you're like, I'm out. I'm calling it. Right? Like you can't even sit for a 10 minute interview where the questions were provided in advance? So it's like a mild follow-up? No conservative would ever be in that position. We're used to having our ideas tested and new roadblocks put down for us. Find a way over them. Keep fighting. Don't give up. Keep going.
15:17Hi, Megan. Lifelong fan. I grew up saying I wanted to be you when I grew up. So this is very crazy. I wrote down my question because I knew I was going to be nervous. But when so much of what's labeled as news today is really just opinion or spin, how do you personally separate fact from narrative? And for those of us trying to speak up and get it right, especially after Charlie's assassination, what sources or strategies would you recommend? I ask because when I reference people that I trust like you, or my fiance always likes to quote Rush Limbaugh, I always get the same feedback that you're biased.
15:58I don't trust her. And it feels like a losing battle. First, you need better friends. I have a couple thousand I can recommend to you.
16:12So one thing I personally do, and I find it very helpful, is every morning I go to realclearpolitics.com. I love those guys. And they take editorials from the left and the right. And if you read on any given issue, they'll have both sides represented. And if you read an editorial from the left and the right on any given issue, you will see a set of facts emerge. One common fact pattern, if you squint, will emerge. And then you'll start to recognize the spin around those facts from the left and the right. And that's very useful. Now, I would say on our show, we'll give you the facts, and then I'll make clear what my opinion is, because the number one thing I don't want is to mislead my audience.
16:50My audience is very smart. I mean, I know this. We have an unusually smart audience. And the last thing I would do, because my show would collapse, is if I started spewing nonsense facts, because people would get embarrassed by repeating them, and then they would stop listening. Not everybody's like that, but I do think Real Clear Politics is a place to go for actual facts in their firsthand reporting, and then with that editorial trick. Yeah, thank you. Hi. Hi, Megan. So I have a question about immigration. Everybody, I think, agrees illegal immigration is a massive issue. That's why a lot of the border counties here in Texas went for Trump because of mass illegal immigration.
17:29But a lot of Republicans have come out and said, well, we'll replace it by making it easier to become legal. And the problem is, especially for young people, a lot of the problem we have with immigration isn't that they're illegal, it's that they're changing the fabric of our culture and the fabric of our country, and legal immigration is just going to make that just as bad as illegal immigration is. What's your stance on kind of, not just the mass deportations, but dealing with not so many legal immigrants as well? Thank you for that. How do you like your border now? Right? It's amazing. What a difference a year can make.
18:07My God. So I take your point. I do think there's a room for some legal immigration in our country. There always has been. You know, I mean, if you want to come here and you want to assimilate and you want to fold into our culture, as some do, and you have skills and they're useful to us, sure, okay. There's always been a place for that. There's still a place for that. But that's not what's happening, as you know. And even under the Biden administration, it's just like the magic wand was waved to let people come in legally, migrants from places like Haiti. And then the next thing you know, you had Ohio overrun with people who were killing people in DWIs who couldn't drive.
18:46They weren't assimilating. They couldn't speak a language. You've got New York City, which is full of not only illegal, but legal migrants who don't learn to speak the language. Now, every school's got to have a translator on every language that these kids speak, and it's not tenable. So I think legal immigration is fine, but it needs to be pulled way back, and Trump's done that. And Republicans who are out there saying, like, okay, but our hotel workers and our farm workers, they all also need a pass. Look, realistically, Trump's not going to get to those people because do you know how many illegals we've deported in the first nine months of the Trump administration?
19:21Do you guys know? A million? That's a guess. Okay, what else? 226? 2.6 million? It's 515 ,000. Yeah, yeah. She said, what? He's doing his best. God bless Tom Homan. But you may have seen the left is not making it so easy for them. So realistically, we're not going to get that level of illegal migrant out of the country. And so we got to just root for Tom Homan on the worst first strategy. Thank you.
19:57Hi, Megan. Hi. Thank you so much for coming to Sugar Land. We're so happy to have you. Thank you for having me. Now, let's talk about the Candace Owens of it all. Okay. I love her, and I really do feel like there's potentially truth to what she's saying. What do you think? Is there something nefarious going on? Are you talking about Charlie's murder? So I don't listen to Candace's show, but I am 100 % convinced that Charlie was killed by Tyler Robinson, a crazed leftist who murdered him because he didn't like Charlie's messaging on the trans issue. That is my firm belief after having talked to the people at Turning Point, the FBI, the security team that was on the ground, and many others.
20:55and I've come to that with a good faith basis and I have nothing that would shake me from it. I don't begrudge anybody asking questions and I understand the controversy around where she's gone with it but I think it's really kind of a matter of your preference for your broadcaster. And, you know, Candace is many, many people's cup of tea and she's not other people's and I'm the same and I haven't responded well to people demanding that I try to police her speech because that's a leftist thing. It's not a right thing. So if she's not for you, that's fine. But if she is, that's fine too. And what she says about this particular matter, look, I give her, I just give her a lot of grace because I know she's suffering.
21:42I know she really loved him. And I think this has been very hard on people who actually knew Charlie and really loved him. Thank you. Okay. Hi. I'm about to graduate high school in May and I want to pursue a major in government and politics, but I don't really know where to go in my career in politics because I don't know if I want to go to law school or just go into like a tournament going USA chapter. So what would be your suggestion? Well, I'm biased on the law school front because I did go to law school and I practiced law for nine and a half years. And I have to tell you, I recommend law school.
22:22I loved law school. It really teaches you how to think. The best law schools do not teach you what the law is. They teach you how to think like a lawyer. And that is a useful skill. However, it's about $300 ,000 now. So you kind of have to be rich to do it. I wasn't rich when I went. I took it all out on loans. And then I wound up paying it back over many years and didn't expect the government to pay it for me. So unfortunately, I think if your parents have some dough and they want to fund this venture for you, or if you have a long-term plan of acing all your exams and signing up with a big firm for a few years to try to pay off those loans, that could work because learning how to think like a lawyer is very useful.
23:03Short of that, Turning Point would be a great way to go because you can educate yourself. Charlie Kirk didn't go to law school. Charlie didn't go to college. Charlie taught himself by nonstop reading and online courses. And honestly, if you go to Hillsdale College online, you can educate yourself without any of the BS. So it's really financial. Thank you. All right, so I guess we have to start now. We've got to get started with our actual program, which is great because you're going to love what comes next. My first guest tonight, you guys know and love. You probably know him from the Megyn Kelly Show, and you know him from that other Kelly show, Jesse Kelly Show.

23:41Jesse Kelly is one badass dude. He served his country honorably in the Marine Corps, went and deployed after 9-11, which is a very brave thing to do. And then when he came back, he ran for office. He was a no-name guy like nobody had ever heard of him. And he almost beat Gabby Giffords for her Arizona seat at the time. I'm like, out of nowhere, this guy. Because just out of sheer force of nature. Then he decided to launch his own shingle as a radio host and bit by bit started building a following. And now he hosts the show I'm Right on the first TV and the nationally syndicated Jesse Kelly show.
24:23All around great guy. We'll do a little intro and then we'll bring him out. I've been talking a lot about Riverbend Ranch lately because their steaks are amazing. Riverbend Ranch has taken black Angus beef to a whole new level. For the last 35 years, Riverbend Ranch has been creating a very elite Angus herd. They use ultrasound to select genetically superior cattle with a focus on flavor and tenderness. When you purchase from Riverbend Ranch, you are not only supporting the 64 cowboys and cowgirls and their families who work on the ranch, but you're also supporting over 260 other U.S. ranches and the hundreds of American families who work on those ranches.
25:01It is born in the USA, raised in the USA, and processed here too. It's aged to perfection for 21 days and shipped directly from the ranch to your home. This is not your average Black Angus beef. So order from riverbendranch.com. Use the promo code MEGAN for 20 bucks off your first order. And let me know what you think. Riverbendranch.com, promo code MEGAN. Jesse Kelly, everybody.
25:30you finally had complete power i got dad's corvette i got dad's keys and there's nothing stopping me now and so you sent the fbi after school board moms you told facebook to delete people's accounts for questioning the covid vaccine you sick the fbi on pro-life pastors For these people, America is the enemy. They are at war with our own country. Are they afraid? Is this why the violence is happening? Is this why there's a clear uptick in violence? Do they feel like they're losing? Shoot, we'll try to kill him, throw him in prison. We'll throw a thousand January Sixers in prison. We're living high on the hog, baby.
26:13We're always going to have power. But you screwed up. They tell people, Hitler's coming, Hitler's coming. and you have all these single women on anti-anxiety meds freaking out. Oh my gosh, the world's going to end. These people get lied to repeatedly and all they do, maybe it's a Democrat thing, is bend over it and say, thank you, sir. May I have another? Yeah. Woo!
26:44Jesse!
26:51Love late all night I don't even need a reason why You're on love, so right I can't wait until the morning Oh, it's so good to be here. Woo! Thought I'd kick it off with family. It feels like family. Well, we've been talking for how many years now? It does feel like family. This is just a normal routine for us. And with the last name Kelly, I mean, it's got to go back to some common person, doesn't it? I just learned this week that Irish women are known not only for being boozers, but for being sluts. Well, I'm not sure what that says about my mom. But, look, I think we kind of went different ways.
27:36Megan, you went to law school, and I went to Pima Community College. So at some point when we got off the boat, we definitely diverged. All right, I have my notes here because there was something I wanted to remember to ask you. Okay. Please tell us who Big Chungus is. Okay. All right. So I'm sure you saw the video. Everybody here has probably seen the video of the stupid No Kings protests. And everyone saw that gigantic monster of a woman making fun of Charlie Kirk's assassination, doing the this and that and this and that thing. Just, you know, sticking her fingers in her fat rolls and being terrible about the whole thing.
28:17and so I went off on it on my radio show one day and I don't even know where I heard it probably from my two meathead sons who were actually in the audience the name Chungus and it just seemed like it fit I said that's big Chungus and I knew you know what's sad Megan is I knew as soon as I saw her I said that's a teacher that's a nurse or a social worker because it is every single time in one of these blue areas I knew it was a fact yeah you knew it I you know feel a little bad making fun of most people's physical being but not in her case, not at all. What a horrible person. I mean, that was a horrifying video.
28:50You guys saw it, right? She was enjoying it, and the Chicago school district has done nothing. They're worried about the alleged threats she received for that bad behavior. I think it's really hard for normal, decent people to understand that there are people, obviously there are legions of wonderful teachers, but there are a lot of people who go into their chosen profession because they intend to carry a sick religion into that profession and put it into our children. There are a lot of school teachers in this country, especially in two districts. They didn't take it so they can read your son or your daughter English, math, arithmetic.
29:29These things don't ever cross their mind. They did it so they could tell your son to chop his penis off. They did it so they could teach you that your country sucks and there is no God. And they believe it all the way. And when they're not doing that, They waddle out to a protest and make fun of Charlie Kirk's assassination. It's freaking terrible. Well, that's what Jesse always calls the left communists. They're communists. Explain that. Well, they are communists. And we've been too hesitant to do that for so long. We try to act as if they're naive. They just don't get it. We try to make every excuse in the world for them.
30:02Well, I guess they just don't understand. No, they do understand. We're the ones who have lacked understanding. They understand full well that they are at war from within with this country. They are fighting a communist revolution. It's not an accident they're doing it. It's not an accident they're going after kids. They decided long ago they couldn't use the workers because American workers were by and large happy and prosperous. So they had to find a different group of malcontents. And now it's every feminist in a Subaru and it's all this LGBTQ stuff. And they go find all the miserable freaks in society, and they recruit them as an internal army to constantly attack us from within.
30:40And they are communists. And I fully admit there are so many Democrats today who don't have any idea that's actually what they are because they're a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy. But in the end, you go listen to any one of their speeches, you notice they're never, ever, ever actually selling a solution. They don't even really pretend they're always selling revenge. Always. Elect me and I'll get them. Elect me and I'll get that guy. Elect me and I'll take what's his. Because they're filthy communists, but they're losing, so screw them.
31:11There is something about the fact that they're all so unattractive. I know I'm being a very looksist person tonight, but there's something to it. Why are they all so homely? you know a much wiser man than me once said that that bitterness is poison right your bitterness is poison and so it's it's actually not a physical thing the reason so many of them appear to be unattractive because there are plenty of people big small short tall who are wonderful and attractive people to be around because there's a certain joy inside of them I mean how many people have you already met here tonight nobody looks the same there's a there's a joy that comes out of people who are good, but people who are angry, because that's really what they are, broken, their souls are broken, they're angry, they're bitter, that radiates from them, and they spread it everywhere, and it feels ugly.
32:04So even ones that are kind of hot, like AOC, you get around her and you think, oh, that's gross, I would rather not. Have you seen now online, she put on a couple of pounds, and now the online commenters are referring to her as abuelita.
32:24You can't do it any better than the internet. I'm sorry. What are your thoughts, though? Because I know you've been very outspoken since Charlie died on the need to be here, the need to be speaking out, what the right needs to do. Well, this is, again, a mentality that is changing, so I don't want to act like we're failing. Ten years ago, we were failing. It is changing. And I want to echo what Megan said when she was out here. I do commend you for this. Maybe you don't feel courageous, but it takes guts now, especially with all these violent animals on the other side. It takes guts. So for the longest time, because we didn't fully understand what we were dealing with on the left, we thought, you know, we could be hands off, laissez-faire, they'll wake up, you know, that old conservative way of thinking of, well, they'll come around when they start paying taxes or they'll wake up one day.
33:14But the truth is when you're dealing with a demonic force like communism, you have to be aggressive with it. And so the second the communist tells you what he hates or what he fears, you don't shy away from it. You feed it to him. So the second they tell you, they don't want you talking to kids on college campuses. They don't want you doing public events. We'll kill you. We'll do this. We'll do that. No, you double down on them. You do this on everything. you double down on them when they're tearing down statues. And I don't care whose statue it is. I don't care if it's Christopher Columbus or Robert E.
33:48Lee or whoever it is. The second they tear one down, you build 10 more right there. And you don't ever let these people destroy the way they want to destroy. They have always, since the Bolshevik Revolution to where we are in the United States of America today, they have thrived on the naivete and the niceness of their political opposition and the fact their political opposition never quite understood. Well, they don't mean to do that, right? This is an accident. They don't get it. No, they do get it. We haven't gotten it. We're starting to get it now, and that's why they're so afraid. It's fantastic.
34:19Totally agree. Let's talk about the media because what I said is true. The media is dead. The mainstream media is over, and it's a blessing. and it's because of new media that we are able to tell the truth on things like what's happening at the White House now with the renovations and the number of renovations that have already been done to the White House over all the years. Like none of the mainstream will tell you that. They wouldn't talk about Barack Obama's$380 million reno he did to the White House, way more than what Trump is doing. They wouldn't tell you what Truman did, completely revamping or taffed the entire White House.
34:55They wouldn't talk about the pool that FDR put in. That's just one example. But we're able to counter-program now in a way that has them panicked. Well, they have had forever. I mean, when you think about it, you don't even have to go to ancient history. If it's 1990, right? How many channels are on your television in 1990? We had one of the big wooden-cased ones, and it was the little 13-clicker. Everybody knows what I'm talking about. That's what you had. That's not ancient history. That's 1990. So if you owned, if you owned NBC, ABC, CBS, the New York Times, the Washington Post, LA Times, and they did back then, if you owned it, the truth was whatever you wanted.
35:34And normal people had no option to go seek out the truth because there's no internet, there's no smartphone, there's no Megyn Kelly show, there's no alternate source. Even if I'm trying to be informed, all I have is the newspaper and the news at night. And if they're all telling me the same lies, which we now know they do. They tell the same lies over and over and over again. Have you gotten your 12th booster shot yet? But anyway, they all tell the same lies. And so we, our ancestors in this country, I say ancestors, honestly, our parents, they did not have the same opportunity we did to break out of that bubble the way we've broken out.
36:10And now that we've broken out, now that people see the light and they see the evil, the media is being completely stripped of all their power. And it's the greatest thing that could happen in this country. Yes, it's so wonderful. You can see, I think it's part of the leftist panic, though. Like, my own calculation is one of the reasons we're seeing more violence on the left is they're extremely angry that their universal control over all the institutions, media among them, is really quickly slipping away. And they can feel it. And this is a brand new front. Like, they've never had to deal with this before.
36:43Yeah, it's honestly, it's part of the reason I took so much joy in the No Kings protests, actually, if I can get to this in kind of a roundabout way. Even though we all know that you are king of all media. So, I mean, think about where we were. It feels like 15 minutes ago, but just last year, two years ago, I don't know about you, I felt completely culturally surrounded. It was like it happened all of a sudden. We woke up one day and, wait, they're taking Aunt Jemima off the pancakes and there are more lesbians in the kids' movies than the WNBA game. Like, I don't know. We woke up and said, how did that happen, right?
37:18And so we felt completely surrounded. Our institutions all felt against us. But like all evil, tyrannical, sick religions, like communism is, it's a religion. It's not a political ideology. They couldn't control themselves with power. So they got it. And everywhere they had it, they would abuse it and abuse you and abuse you and abuse you and abuse you. And just like that, it's disappearing on them right now. And so now all you have is some lame protest with a bunch of grannies doing these stupid pre-rehearsed dance routines and big chungus out there making fun of Charlie Kirk. And now you're just screwed.
37:51Big chungus. I love it. I can't get enough of it. So how do we sustain what Trump has taught us? Right? Trump showed the Republicans how to fight. That will be his lasting legacy. Trump, unfortunately, only gets another three years and change. and then he's going to have to pass the baton. And there are real questions, even though we love the bench, about whether what he's taught us can be sustained post-Trump. Well, this is actually something I talked about on my radio show yesterday, this exact subject of we, because Trump has been the leading figure on the right for 10 years, and as of the year 2025, he's the seminal figure on the planet for the 21st century.
38:33That's not even debatable. No one else is close. when you think about when you think about Trump being gone in three years it can be a little what are we going to do but I just want to make sure everyone understands Trump is not the end Trump was the beginning and deserves a lot of credit for that and that is in no way an insult it's all the credit in the world the one who lays the foundation of the family business is always going to be revered and he deserves to be honored for that forever. But if he's the end, then we're finished anyway. But he won't be. There will be another, and then there will be another, and then there will be another.
39:12And when I say another, I'm really talking about everybody. I don't want to sound like one of these dirty hippies, but it really does take all of us. It's your school board. It's your local community. It's about so much more than the White House. Honestly, you're HOA. You have dirt balls in your local community, even here in Red Texas. I have them in mine. And we need to get these people out of office. Yes. Okay. So that's the problem is that while we've been asleep and they've been passing the laws to make it easy for teachers to trans children without involving the parents and so on, we've been asleep.
39:43Now we're, we're, we're waking up, but we're still slow to vote on team sanity. And we don't vote in local elections. We don't vote at the school board level too often. We're like, we're busy. We're living our lives. Like we're fulfilled people. That's our problem. If we were like more empty inside, we'd probably go out and make sure that we canvassed and voted and make sure that everybody else, but like, even though we're happy and fulfilled, we're going to need to start to vote now in every single election, up and down the board. So how do we get Republicans to do that? Because in general, it's more the left who's been like activated, and they'll make sure that they have their bus with Jane Fonda on it, getting all the people to every vote there is.
40:23Well, this is the problem. Proposition 15, she said. This is the problem because it's going to create an extra burden on, honestly, the people in this room. Because your friends, they share your values. You go to church with them. You meet them at T-ball games. But they don't even know there's a local election coming. They don't know they're living their lives. You have to be that point person in your circle. I try to encourage people with this all the time. Five people. Tell five of your friends, you're going to be hanging out on Sunday. You're going to be watching a baseball, football game. Hey, did you hear we have an election on Wednesday?
40:56Hey, I'll come get you guys. It's important. We need to vote for this guy. Your friends are good people who don't know. You know. They don't know. You listen to Megyn Kelly. You know. They don't know anything. And that's not an insult to them. It's not their interest. They are busy doing other things. But they will do what you tell them to do. I run into this with my neighbors. I don't hang out with political people. I live here in Texas. I live in the Burbs. I'm not in D.C. And all my friends are this way. They share my values. They agree with me. But when there's an election coming, they have no frigging idea.
41:25So I have to say, hey, we're going to the polls on Tuesday. We've got to go out. But we have to be that activist class because as a whole, we will never be as committed to tearing down the country as they are, to preserving the country as they are to tearing it down. But we don't have to be because the numbers are actually on our side if we can just get out there. But it's uniquely hard for people in red states to do that because when we look out the window, it's right here in Sugar Land. When you look out the window, the animals aren't burning things down. And you think, you know, women aren't getting thrown in front of subway cars here and things like that.
41:59And so you think to yourself, okay, well, it's not that bad. I can skip voting. It's just a Saturday anyway. I'm not feeling that great. No, no. The communist is coming from places like this, and they're already here. Texas has been in danger of turning bluer and bluer thanks to places like Austin and Dallas. So, yeah, you've got to get out. And let me just say something. The fact that you are all here suggests that you are more politically attuned than the average citizen and more into news than the average citizen, which means you probably will have to lead the way on getting people to vote because your neighbors are living their lives and they're definitely not thinking about local elections.
42:32So you have to, you be the change. But you do, you have to be. Here's another thing I want to ask you about. There's a debate happening right now on the right about how much time do we give these leftists and the media and even some Republicans who are demanding that we comment on every scandal, like the young Republicans' text chain. You know what I'm talking about? These young Republicans who got caught in a text chain in which there were some racist comments, there were some unfortunate comments, and the left ran with this on every media outlet. Like, they'd love to make this the new story because it bumped the Jay Jones, Virginia attorney general candidate story off the front page.
43:13It was like, see, we told you all along, Republicans are all racists. Aha. And then good people on the right kind of felt the need to say, like, tsk, tsk, I condemn it. Because, like, if I'm going to condemn the Jay Jones stuff, I've got to condemn this. How do you see it? Yeah. So let's say I'm FDR and it's World War II. and Douglas MacArthur comes to me and he says, hey, I just got word that some Marines are committing some atrocities in the Philippines. They're torturing people. I need you to look into that. Or I want to report this to you. Now that's an action item for me because Douglas MacArthur is on my side.
43:46If I'm FDR in World War II and Tojo walks into my office and tells me Marines are doing something in the Philippines, that's not an action item for me. I know he's my mortal enemy. I know the only reason he's bringing me that information is because he wants me to act on the information he just gave me in a way that will be harmful to me. And so we have to be smart enough on the right not to jump on every landmine the left throws out there because, as you just pointed out, anybody with an IQ above a gerbil knows exactly why a disgusting rag like Politico would print it. They printed it because they wanted us to stop talking about that sick freak in Virginia who's talking about killing kids.
44:23They wanted us to talk about anything else. They wanted us to change the news cycle. and we can't just be people who chase a headline, chase the spotlight, chase the newest, freshest story. We have to think beyond that and realize we are dealing with an enemy and that sucks that you have to deal with an enemy. I wish you didn't have to. I wish I didn't have to. I don't want to have enemies here. That's not who I am. I don't want to. I want to eat Red Lobster. That's what I want to do. I want to enjoy and I want to eat Red Lobster. But that's not the life we've been given. We have enemies here.
44:54We have to acknowledge their enemies and act as if they're enemies. I do not now. I never have. I never will. I do not take part in communist operations. I don't care what they are. It doesn't matter whether it involves my friends, my enemy. When there is a communist operation, I recognize it for what it is, and I just ignore it and move on. So wise. And here's a tip. I think people on the right are decent, and they want to express their decency, and so they feel like an obligation. I'm a decent person. I'm against these texts. I would never text like this, so I feel like it doesn't matter. how many times you prove your decency to these people.
45:28They will always dismiss you as indecent. They will attack you as racist, as misogynist, as bigoted. They'll use every term in the book. They don't really think Donald Trump is Hitler. Not at all. They don't think J.D. Vance is Hitler. They're using those terms to silence their enemies. It's a leftist tactic. And no matter how good you are, you could be Jesus Christ incarnate. They will call you all the names and never acknowledge your decency. So why bother? Yeah, there's a clip that's going around now, but it's actually a little bit old of Catherine Mayer, head of NPR, don't get me started, talking about, I think our reverence for the truth is, you know, we focus on that too much.
46:02We just need to focus on getting things done and building a consensus. But what I tell people all the time, over and over and over again, is communists lie about everything all the time. The way you feel about telling the truth, that's how communists think about lying. And I know that's hard for good people to understand, but they might tell the truth occasionally if they feel forced to, like when your wife comes out and says, does this stress make me look fat, and you've got to kind of weasel one in there if maybe it's not the most flattering thing in the world. But that's how the communist feels about telling the truth.
46:33It's not just that they lie or they're okay with lying. They demand lies. They will demand it of each other. They strictly police each other. Remember when Joe Biden accidentally called an illegal during the State of the Union? He had to do a press tour the next day apologizing for it. They strictly police each other to make sure the lie is consistent, building the world of make-believe, which radicalizes these people who are broken out there, turning them violent, and soon you have big chungus. Don't play that game. Jesse, thank you. Love you so much. Thank you so much for doing this.
47:22Isn't he so great?
47:27Can I tell you, like, the show is doing really well. The Megyn Kelly show is doing really well. It's because of guys like that. Honestly, we have just the best guests. And while I'd love to say it's all me, it's not all me. It's because I get guys like that to talk to me. And they're so interesting, right? Isn't your life just better for knowing Jesse Kelly? It just is. You hear all of your own views espoused in a way that is like super smart and entertaining and fun and funny. And you go home thinking, I am not alone. That's one of the many things I love about him. Anyway, thank you, Jessie. Love you too.

50:47Without further ado, my next guest and I go back years, years and years and years. So even when our current president and I were on the outs a little bit, You may recall this period back in 2015-16. Rosie O'Donnell, correct. I never lost touch with his family. They were always so sweet to me. Don Jr., Eric, and Ivanka, all of whom I got to know, especially the boys, very well. Ivanka is just a picture of class, too. I just don't know her quite as well as their brothers. They were always kind to me. They were always happy to come on my show. Even when their dad and I were brawling, they'd come on, we'd talk about issues.
51:34They never shied away. They were always perfectly gracious. And Don Jr. is such a star in his own right. In any world, the name Donald Trump would be associated with him instead of his dad if he didn't happen to be the son of such a powerhouse. Because, listen, in his own right, not only has he become a massive and important executive with the Trump Organization, International Real Estate and Business, and could run any company in this world. But he has become so integral, not only to getting his dad elected twice, but to choosing the top operators of the Trump administration. And Don Jr. took all the information that they learned in Trump 1.0 and made sure that they didn't make the same mistakes in 2.0.
52:20Truly, he was at the helm of the staffing decisions. He's too modest to come out here and brag about it, but I'm telling you, it's so. And he's done it with class, J.D. Vance, you got it. And guess who else? Guess who else became a star because of Don Jr.? Charlie Kirk, you know. So he's not afraid to spot young talent and groom them into great things. Anyway, love this guy. He He could do anything. He's done anything. But the thing we all, I think, love about Don Jr. more than anything is he's a fighter. Watch this.
52:57We are in a fight for the future of our country, for our very existence. There's a true seismic shift going on right now. Watching the Democrats, it's amazing that they're so far out of touch. The Democratic Party has left the working class that they used to represent. That's not true. I'm watching this thing today and I'm like, why? You know what? Every once in a while you get a try. I mean, if we're talking about bringing a discourse down, Joy, you've worn blackface. Whoopi. No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. There'd be a second family separation policy. It's MSDNC, so I expect nothing less from you clowns.
53:33Let's be clear, folks. This is like communist level shit. I've even gotten the call from that guy a couple of times. you know Don Don you're getting a little aggressive on social media Don relax I get a call your dad's been shot any other information? no we don't know anything finally I got a hold of my father and surprisingly calm in the hospital so me I'm usually the inappropriate guy so I was like how's the hair? how's the hair? The hair's fine, but it's a little bloody. In that moment, my father didn't just show his character. He showed America's character. When he stood up with blood on his face and the flag at his back, the world saw a spirit that could never be broken.
54:32Donald Trump Jr., everyone.
54:54Thank you guys. Good to be here. Thank you so much for being here. Great to be here. Those are some fun highlights. Before you go, you have to do your best, Donald Trump. We're going to have to do some Donald Trump, guys. All right, let's talk about why we're here, right? I mean, we were going to do this tour. We announced this tour two days before Charlie was killed, and then the question was raised by basically everybody, do we still do this tour? And I know how I felt, and I know how you felt. It's not exactly how my husband felt. But we're here, and it's more important right now to be here than ever.
55:37A hundred percent. I mean, the best way to honor Charlie's legacy is to actually be out here, to doing this, to be unafraid, to not back down. I think, yeah. Thank you. I know I was supposed to do something with him literally the week after that. And as you mentioned, sort of in the intro, you know, I met Charlie, I think he was 19 or just turned 20. And it was 2015 at the beginning of that cycle. And a couple of friends of mine actually from Texas were like, you have to meet this guy, he's great he's charismatic and he knows everything about politics I'm like wow that sounds great because no one here knows anything I've told you this before when they were like you're colluding with Russia I'm like guys if you knew what was going on in that campaign we couldn't collude to order a cheeseburger so like relax relax Adam Schiff, give me a break but they're going on and on about how great this guy is and they're like, okay, well, he just turned 20.
56:38I'm like, just, okay, enough. Like, stop. We're good. If there's one thing we had no shortage of, it was guys that didn't know what the hell they were doing. We didn't need someone else who also didn't know what the hell they were doing. But these guys were persuasive, and I sat down, and in five minutes, I was like, oh. Describe that Charlie versus the Charlie we knew before he was taken from us. Honestly, it was the same. You just knew it was a generational talent. You know, I don't know much, but I think, you know, if there's one thing I've probably proven to be fairly decent at in the last decade or so is sort of just understanding talent.
57:17And I recognized it in an instant. I mean, it was literally five minutes. I'm like, okay, interview's over. Like, you're traveling with me. And, you know, he spent the next, you know, six, seven months. It was everything. I mean, he'd be making calls. I mean, I have great pictures of Election Day 16. And I think I did, it was close to like 75 radio interviews. We were just sort of moving east to west as the polls were shutting down. I'm screaming at Sean Hannity, be like, just get me on in western Florida because there's a time difference there. And I can still get a couple people to the polls because, you know, whatever wasn't showing up.
57:49And, you know, Charlie was basically just in the background operating, you know, my Twitter and other social media handles from my desk in my office as I'm going through this. And it was just such an amazing experience. But again, he perhaps got better, but he was always so good, he was just going to be better than everyone else anyway. It didn't take much maturation. He just always had it. In the past couple of years, Don, you've been subpoenaed and investigated more than any human on earth. So is your family. So is your dad. Your dad, they tried to throw him in prison, not to mention the impeachments and all the investigations and the civil lawsuits.
58:29and then on top of that they actually tried to kill him repeatedly twice yeah yeah you saw your dad get shot in the ear you saw three of his supporters get shot one of whom died two two others of whom got shot as well and then charlie got shot and killed and taken from us this is your life over the past couple of years how has that changed you Thank you. Honestly, it's hard. I mean, there's an element, I guess, you know, I got some of that Trump gene that it just makes you sort of go harder. It's not normal. It's not always good. I have that for better or worse. I think, you know, I've been more subpoenaed than probably just about any human being and our family certainly has.
59:13I think I've done more hours of congressional testimony for treason, right? A crime punishable by death. That became like my average Tuesday. It was like, they're going to try to kill you again, Don. I'm like, it's fine. Can I catch lunch first? Most of us are like, I've got to get those Halloween decorations up. It's coming. I'm on deadline. Yeah, no, my lawyer's like, you're the greatest witness ever. It's like, it's not because I'm actually good at it. I've just done it so much. Eventually you're going to develop some sort of talent for it. I mean, it's, you know. Do you miss it a little? Not that so much.
59:51No, but, you know, not that, but it was interesting, right? I think at the end of each one of these election cycles, and now three presidential cycles, and then six midterm cycles, you combine them all, or whatever it may have been, there was a time, at the end of 16 especially, and at the end of 20, you're in the throes of it. And I think it was October 2020, I think I did 104 rallies that month. So that's four a day. And I don't mean like a lunch or a breakfast. I mean, like, you know, 300 to 10 ,000 people in a room four times a day, 31 days straight. And it's sort of brutal. And at the end of the year, like, I just sort of want to be done with it.
1:00:3716 especially, right? Because I got sucked out of, like, the world in which I lived, you know, real estate. I was, you know, behind a desk or on a job site. And I was like, sort of want to go back to that. And for about a week, it was great. And you were non-controversial before all this, too. Yeah, no, I mean. The Trumps were beloved. Not the same level. Before that, no. It was awesome. I could live in New York City. I got invited to the cool person parties. That all went away. No, honestly, there was a component of that that was also cathartic. It was that obligatory lunch you all do with some friend you haven't seen in 10 years, but you do it once every other year.
1:01:14You go, and you're like, why am I here? We don't really stay in touch. You'd see all these people, and they'd text you like, I love what you're doing. You're like, oh, wow, that's great. And you look on their Facebook page and you're like, Trump's a terrorist. He's a Nazi. So I'm like, I hate these people so much. I'm like, well, which one is it? Because you can't be my friend and also do that. You can disagree with me politically. I mean, I had friends that didn't agree with a lot of what we were doing, but they're still like, I'm writing a check to your campaign because I just believe in you.
1:01:42And even if we don't agree on much politically, you're still a friend. And those guys are great. Those guys were. You can handle the honesty. That I can deal with. it was the guys like clout chasing on one side and then kissing your ass on the other that I didn't appreciate but do you I wonder because you talk about the gene you've got the gene and it is a crazy gene it's a great gene um and I really have been thinking about this a lot because I now at this point in my life I think a lot about how do we handle trauma like what's the best way of handling trauma and I really have come over to my husband's Presbyterian way of just shoving it down.
1:02:16I really do believe, honestly, like leaning into your traumas and they call it ruminating is very bad for you. We've really, we were raised by Oprah and we were raised by wolves. She misled us. The Trump gene is the way. Well, yes and no, right? I was sort of getting there before and I sort of ramble, but you get there and it feels normal, but you also then suppress all of it. And it's just like, it doesn't matter. Put it aside, go back and fight. Doesn't matter. Put it aside, go fight. Like literally in your dad's case, in the moment where the bullets are still flying. Correct. And you know, we all sort of did that to some extent him more than anyone, but then you go back and you're, you know, I have five young kids, you know, and kids, you know, they have some sort of problem.
1:03:01I'm like, well, they're literally trying to jail me. They're trying to shut down our businesses. They just tried to kill grandpa. Like, you know, it's just, whatever they're going through is still a big thing for them, but you can't even think of it as a big thing because it's like, give me a break, it's nothing, but it's big for them. And so you definitely put a lot of that sort of emotion aside. It's like you've just been a beast in a cage, prodded for a while, that you'd sort of adjust to that normalcy, but it makes it actually very hard to be sensitive to other people's ideas and emotions.
1:03:28Of that movie Free Solo. Did you see the movie Free Solo? Yeah, 100%. Do you guys see this? I saw it on an airplane once. I used to do a little bit of Freak Life, so yeah, I have that underdeveloped sense of self-preservation. and pretty much I'm a pilot, I do the tramex diving. So this guy's like climbing mountains, like the most dangerous mountainsides in the world without any suspension, without any rope whatsoever and it's extremely dangerous. And they talk in that film about how you can kind of burn out your adrenal gland and that's not necessarily a good thing. Or it's already underdeveloped so it takes that much more stimulus to actually get any sort of excitement out of life.
1:04:00And that's what it was like. So after 16, you know, you work so hard, you sort of become like, I mean, there's something cool about being pseudo rock star, right? You're on a stage and people are loving it and you sort of feel like, wow, I'm actually decent at this. This is kind of cool. So you get like, I got to go back to my regular life. I'm so over this. And like two weeks back at a desk and I'm like, yeah, no, this isn't going to work for me anymore. No, no, I was, I was, no, no, like, like borderline depressed. Like I was like, this, this sucks. Like I literally just remade my whole life after that and got, stayed more involved in this and just, uh, it was sort of game changing.
1:04:33So what I thought was sort of going to be my destiny for the rest of my career, it was like, yeah, no, that's not going to work. I literally would not be able to be satisfied sitting at a desk and doing that forever anymore. And so it changed everything. Well, that leads me to my next line of inquiry, which is, is any Trump going to be running for office at any point soon?
1:04:57You know, this is always the trick question, right? Because if you say no, then you decide to do something at another stage in life. I appreciate the applause. A bunch of friends sent me a poll last week. JD and I are the only guys in double digits. I'm like, I haven't really been out there all that much for it. But you're the heir. But still, well, you know. Honestly, the heir is whoever deserves it, really. You know what I mean? There's not an heir. Contrary to what we've seen, this isn't a monarchy, right? I know they like doing the whole no kings thing and dressing up like Bozo the Clown, and I think that's supposed to be effective.
1:05:33I don't know. It doesn't seem to move the needle much for me, but it also is sort of ironic that they're talking about not having kings with a president that was elected in a landslide, won the electoral college, won the popular vote, won all seven swing states in a historic fashion, before that actually left office. I mean, you know, he's like a really shitty king, actually. I mean, if he's a king, he's doing a lousy job. Because a king wouldn't have done that. A king wouldn't have allowed himself to be prosecuted and persecuted and almost jailed, almost assassinated. A king probably wouldn't allow those protests to happen.
1:06:18And if he was a king, the government would be open and not shut down by Democrats who want to make sure that we're funding health care for illegals. That's right.
1:06:28But The narrative, as we all know The narrative doesn't always have to line up with reality Was that a long way of saying no? You have to see So not never No, not now Not now, but not never There may be a time, and if it's required of me And I can do that for my country, it's an honor The fact that I have this kind of reaction is
1:06:57thank you just that kind of reaction that's sort of the greatest honor I could receive so it means a lot to me and I see that I don't know that I have the ego actually which is ironic I understand but there is a level of hubris you actually need to be president I fight to get where we want to go but after that I'm okay going in the background But what was so great about the last four years under Biden was it's actually what we needed as a country for everyone to understand how fragile our democracy is, how fragile the republic really is, how fragile even our economy is, and how the world really needs a strong America.
1:07:46And so it wasn't just the first four years of Trump that showed us that. It was how quickly it all disappeared and went away that woke up so many people. But in that, there was a sort of component of trial by fire, not just for the American people who got it and experienced it because you saw it with your own eyes every day, but for those in the cabinet now, for those who were able to be fighters and were subject to the same lawfare and whatever. So now we actually, for the first time in modern history, we have a bench. We have a bench of guys that can do this. And if I'm part of that, that's an honor.
1:08:25But it's not like, you know, even in, you know, after the first term, you're like, well, man, who's next? You know, it wasn't going to be Mike Pence. Mike Pence was perhaps like a necessary thing to sort of consolidate other parts of the Republican base that are like, well, this guy from New York, how do we make this happen? perhaps I don't want to say necessary evil but you sort of needed it made sense at the time but it was never going to be the future of the party that was never real and now it's great to be like to see a JD Marco's done a great job Marco's a star too and more importantly they're guys that aren't just playing a role on TV they've actually changed their world view to understand that sort of America first, MAGA, however you want to look at it, is actually the future of the Republican Party.
1:09:21They're not guys that are dying to go back to the old ways and playing a role. They actually believe it. They get it now. And that's incredible for the future of our country. Okay, now, since you and your dad are very similar in many ways, and you're talking about how you were bored sitting at your desk for two weeks, what does Donald Trump post-presidency do with his time? Oh, God. I don't know, Megan.
1:09:50Yeah, no. You know, it's an interesting one. It's like this was always during the campaign. It's like, you know, are we working him too hard? It's like, no, no, no. Keep him going. Because there's nothing sometimes more scary to us that we're having, you know, perhaps clean up some messes. You know, getting the call at like 5 o 'clock in the morning, like, did you see the tweet that went out three hours ago? No, what happened? Don't worry, you're on CNN in a couple hours. What are the talking points? It's like, honestly, we don't know. Figure it out. The scariest Donald Trump is a poor Donald Trump.
1:10:26Real. I got to figure out. We all have to figure out how to keep him busy. He could pull the Obama, not leave Washington, and be the shadow president for the next day. That would be fun. Listen, I think one way or the other, he's always going to keep busy. I mean, you know, you even see the passion of what he has now as he's doing additions to the White House. I mean, he's always going to be a builder at heart. And I think because he's a builder, it's why he understands how to do these things. It's also why he's so able to relate to regular people. You know, he still always sort of defaults back to his roots of being a builder, someone who creates.
1:11:03And so, you know, I imagine he'll always remain politically active because he too likes the action. And the party likes him. They don't want him to go. They're going to want him around. He's remade that party, and he's always going to have an incredible influence there. And so it'll be interesting to watch, though. But we've got to keep him busy one way or the other. I'm going to actually take up golf despite all the things that I don't want to do. I just got to go play golf with him because if he's alone and bored, it's going to be problems. Get him away from the true social. Let's talk about the lawfare that's happening now.
1:11:39What happened to your dad was deeply wrong. It was immoral. It was criminal. It really was criminal, what was done to him. And you guys saw that, you know, now, before Trump took office, he filed a couple of complaints with the DOJ seeking to be made whole on all the money he had to spend to defend himself. And the media has gone nuts with it. Oh, my God, it's conflict of interest. How could he? How could he? Do you know, if you listen to AM Update, you do know this, Do you know how much those losers Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, those two FBI lovers who were tweeting, you know how much they got from the DOJ?
1:12:14Two million dollars. And they. For perjuring themselves. Yes. And setting up a president. I mean, it's. For plotting actively against him. So they filed a complaint because they were mad their tweets got released. And Merrick Garland's DOJ paid out. So why shouldn't Trump file a complaint and get paid out for all of his heartache? But I'm just speaking of the lawfare and how widespread it was and how bit by bit your dad's trying to make good. The lawfare that is being unleashed against his enemies, we've had lots of debates about it. I'm totally in favor of it because I really think they deserve it.
1:12:47It's accountability to me. But what's your reaction? Because the argument against it by smart people is two wrongs don't make a right, and it's not going to stop them. You know, when they get back in power, they're going to do it again. it's actually a nuanced sort of answer because like you know i guess the normal don jr response would be like just go after him but these guys did break the law they actually did there's a difference between what they did to my father where they're literally going back and literally changing the statute of limitations for a short period of time to be able to try to get him when they're venue shopping you notice he was only sued in atlanta new york dc You know, there's a difference between creating a thing, you know, the Steele dossier.
1:13:35Making it up. When it's manufactured to end a result, that's different than John Bolton taking home classified documents and breaking the law and doing that. That's not lawfare. That's actually called enforcing the law. So there's two different things. Now, the corollary to all of that is, generally speaking, there's no one weaker than a Republican in Washington, D.C. No, no, no. You've seen it. You can be the most diehard red meat guy, and you get to Washington, D.C., and all of a sudden you're like, wow, I love the perks. I love getting my ass kissed. I love being invited to the cool person party.
1:14:19You know what? they leave me alone if I'm like 85 % Republican. If I fold when it actually matters to my constituents, but can be beneficial to the Democrats, you have an easy existence. The Washington Post isn't doing their hit pieces. I look at those hit pieces as a badge of honor. Chief Justice John Roberts comes to mind. Yeah, well, no, of course. But by the way, how many strong Republican senators do we have? Like three? that you'd actually want to be in one of these political fights with. I mean, it's pretty plentiful. And so there's a component of me that believes I'd love none of this to ever happen.
1:14:58I'd love it to actually be fair. That's not ever been the case. And until we actually start fighting the same way the Democrats do, it's never going to stop because they're more than happy to take their wins. You know, they talk about democracy. It's all a soundbite. You know, they talk about all these things. Until it happens to them, and it's like, well, this is different. Rules for thee, but not for me. Unprecedented. They actually keep using that word as people get indicted on the left. Unprecedented. I'm like, what were you doing to me, to my father, to half the Republican Party? What did you do to Peter Navarro?
1:15:32What did you do to Steve Bannon? That was unprecedented. Roger Stone. Roger Stone. Now that it's happening back to them, it's unprecedented all of a sudden. They can get away with that, and they've gotten away with it because they also control still the mainstream media narrative. They control a vast majority of tech. I think what Elon's done is great to at least people can finally see, like, oh, wait a minute. It's not actually unprecedented, but it's hard to believe there are people that see that and they're like, oh, my God, it's unprecedented. I'm like, did you not turn on a TV for a solid eight years?
1:16:06You've been asleep. Like, eight years when Trump, what, 96 indictments? they wanted to put my father away for 750 years i mean he's a young and vibrant 79 but but i think even for a high energy guy like donald trump like 750 years maybe a lot i'm not sure he gets through that by the way does he sleep because you hear the reporters on board air force one like you can't fall asleep because he might come back at any second he's constantly like talking to his cabinet officials and like you don't want to be the reporter who's asleep when he comes back for the fourth time and you miss the big scoop honestly like i've rarely seen him sleep if he does it's it is like three hours a night like and but it's been his whole life like so i remember you know coming out of you know the wharton school of finance and starting to work in the business and stuff like that and you know young 20 year old guy in new york city I'd go out and I'd be partying with my buddies.
1:17:04I'd probably get home at... 12. 10.30. 10.30. Let's just say that for... And Saturday morning, my phone would ring. You know, Don, why aren't you in the office? I'm like, why aren't you in the office? He's like, I'm in the office. That's why I know you're not in it, Don. I'm like, shit. Nightmare. I'm like, I'm stumbling over their hairs everywhere. I'm hungover as hell, and I'm like, we're going to get to the office. And on a Saturday, sometimes Sunday. He's just built this way. He's just always been that way. I mean, perhaps the most, and I've sort of been impressed with his stamina that way for most of my life.
1:17:51But, I mean, even, you know, this last election, the days prior to the election, I mean, I saw him go two all-nighters in a row. Yeah. Like, it was all day, seven events a night. I'd speak at some of them, but when he's there, he's speaking for an hour. Yes. I mean, it's slated for an hour, and sometimes it ends up being two and a half. The weave. But you've got six of them. And we're in Michigan, and it's 2.30 in the morning, and that's 3.30. By the time you've dealt with the time difference or wherever we end up, I think it was Michigan was the last one. And he's still going strong. Six of these speeches, five of these speeches for two hours apiece.
1:18:29It's 2.30 in the morning. He's going strong. He gets on the plane, and he starts playing music, and I'm like, I just want to go to bed. I literally, for the love of Christ, please just turn off the music. And he's blasting Elton John. It's wild. And then we get there, and it's election day. And I get home. It's 6 a.m. I try to get like an hour or two. I get home. I take a shower. I'm about to go to bed, and I turn on the TV quickly, and he's doing interviews. I'm like, no, I felt like I'm not living up to the stage. I literally had two hours until my next thing. I'm like, I just can't go to bed because I can't let this guy outdo me.
1:19:13But all I wanted to do was go to sleep. So I was like, and then we go into election night. And this guy still hasn't slept. Still had it. I mean, it was 72 hours. It was crazy. And he's up, and whatever happens, and then we're hanging out until 5 o 'clock in the morning the next night. At this point, I just want to shoot myself. No, I was so tired. Winning was like, eh. You know when you're just so tired? We've been fighting for this for five years now. It was like, okay, we got to get back. It was the ultimate sort of just comeback story. And I'm like, I can't even enjoy it. I just want to go to bed.
1:19:51So you need to catch up on your sleep. but you have talked before about how special the White House has been to you. Like, you and Eric up on the rooftop, smoking cigars, like taking in. Unlike other presidential sons who were smoking something a little different. Allegedly. Or snorting, or whatever. Hunter Biden's got me wanting to try crack cocaine. Yeah, yeah. He makes a very strong case for it. Yeah. I love when they discovered the cocaine at the White House. It was like two years into the Biden administration. They're like, it's Don Jr.'s. I'm like... Let's start an investigation. I know I'm kind of a hyper guy, but just because I'm hyper doesn't mean I'm doing this.
1:20:36Two years later? I don't know. I also feel like if I did those things, I'd probably have the sense to not video all of it. Yeah. Like, was there an enemy of America that didn't have, like, a Hunter Biden laptop somewhere? I was like, I don't know. You don't buy the Russian disinformation claim? Yeah, no, I didn't. I never did. And you know how I knew it was actually his laptop? Because not even he came out and denied it. They just had other people doing it. Right? It was like... Like his dad at a presidential debate, along with the help of the moderator. Oh, that was brutal. Yeah. So what about that, though?
1:21:11Like, when you walk through the White House, do you still ever get that thing? Like, do you, like, will you look where the ballroom's going to go now? Do you get, look at the views? Does it still ever get to you? Because I asked Eric about this. He's got his book out now, number one, Under Siege. It's great. And he writes about some of that, just like some of the moments you guys have had in this revered home. Yeah, no, it's incredible. It's an amazing place. And, you know, every time you walk in there, you're like, man, it's cool, you know, to be able to do some of those things. Even you, because you come from a pretty cool house.
1:21:38Yeah, no, listen, we've got some cool houses. we've been blessed to have some incredible experiences, but that is different. To be able to even be just sort of a fly on the wall of American history is truly special. But honestly, Bettina and I talk about this all the time. Every time I've been to the White House to see my father, even him, who's lived a story like very few could people, every single time, the White House, Air Force One, Marine one. Camp David. He'll look at me, not in front of other people, and just go, isn't this so cool? Wow. Like, even a guy like that, he appreciates it so much.
1:22:22Like, I can't imagine Joe Biden appreciating it. It's just, they take it for granted. Totally. Obama, same thing. It's like, I deserve this. Donald Trump, each and every day he walks into the Oval Office, is like, this is the most amazing ride ever. He appreciates it. He understands the history of it all. I mean, there's a level of gratitude that I think most people couldn't possibly fathom that he has. Because we all see him off the stage, and there's a component of Trump that is what you see is what you get. But there is that side of him that actually has real empathy. There's a reason people worked for him for 40 years.
1:23:01He gets that. He doesn't like to show it because sometimes he looks at it as, if I show empathy, that's weakness when I'm dealing with Putin or Xi or whatever it may be. But it's truly spectacular to see that kind of awe. It's funny you should say that because I've been studying your dad just as a reporter for many years. And in the beginning, when we had our dust up, I was like, I don't know if he has empathy. I want to know if he has empathy. And for years, I questioned, does he have empathy? And now, having studied him for a good 10, 11 years closely, it's so clear he does. he just doesn't express it in the way that everybody else might.
1:23:38Like, look what he did with Charlie. Like, we didn't have shots of Trump crying on camera. He's not like that. Never going to do that. But, I mean, like, immediately reaching out to the family, J.D. gets sent out there to get Charlie. Your dad was so good with Erica. The Presidential Medal of Freedom showing up at his memorial. Like, this is how Trump shows his empathy. Yeah, I mean, and he doesn't even beyond that. But, again, he doesn't like to show it. I've always told him, I'm like, your greatest political liability, perhaps, is not actually his social media, contrary to popular belief. There were times I was like, I don't know, maybe that's it.
1:24:16But it's actually the fact that he's, again, it's just that old school sort of Germanic mentality of like, you can't show that. I'm like, no, no, show that. He's like, can't do it. I'm like, he understands he could do that, but he's just not, you're not going to change. I love how he calls you and Eric honey. Honey. That's so sweet. Yeah. Right? It's like so endearing. And always. Always. Yeah. That's all he calls you. Yeah. All right. Let's get back to policy because something's happening in the Republican Party now that's very interesting. And one of our questioners kind of raised it. But your dad made this a big tent party.
1:24:51I mean, he wrested it over to the MAGA way of looking at life. And the old school Republicans complained. There we go. But they came along. Like, it's his Republican Party now. And they didn't leave that sort of neocon and also National Review, more traditional conservative wing, is still there and they're still voting Republican, which was a feat by your dad. But now there's like a push within the Republican, I don't know if it's the party or just the side, the right, to excise certain people, certain thoughts, and for there to be more, quote, policing. What do you make of it? Listen, I actually think, you know, I'm a pretty conservative guy.
1:25:32I always have been. I think the irony, I think I was the only person in our family that was actually able to vote for Trump in 2016 into the New York primary because I was actually registered as a Republican. But, no, listen, I think when I see some of those things, and it doesn't mean I'm not going to have disagreements and doesn't mean I'm not willing to have those disagreements publicly. We can argue those things out. But when you try to ostracize, I think that's a disaster. It's like, you know, I think what's unique about the Republican Party, unlike the Democrat Party, who, you know, it's like the Borg.
1:26:07You've seen, you know, they, you must believe 100 % of everything that we say. And if you don't do that, you're out. You've seen that. You've seen what they've done to people, you know, across the board who may be with them. I mean, I always remember with like the trans women in sports issue, which, you know, they're hill to die on. you know Martina Navratilova the tennis player she was really good friends with my mom and you know pretty ardent leftist but she was like a gay rights activist in the 80s before it was like cool right before that gave you like social standing it was actually a liability and it was difficult and she was also one of the best female athletes of all time and she was like I don't know this is pretty ridiculous and they like they threw her out of the LGBT movement she was the only one that anyone had ever heard of, you know, prior to, again, it being like, you know, virtue signaling.
1:26:58And it was like, she was out. And then she has to try to like remake herself and apologize for what everyone understands is abject insanity. And so, you know, our party, we can have differing opinions. We can do those things and we can bring people together and have a conversation and agree that, hey, we agree on 95 % of things, but like in the end, those 95 % of things is going to move the needle forward for our party, for our country, for our children. And so because you don't buy into each and every one of the soundbites doesn't mean someone needs to be ostracized entirely. I mean, you know, since we sort of opened up talking about Charlie, I've been watching that right now where, you know, sort of the dueling factions of the Israel issue.
1:27:42No, it's a binary thing. And Charlie believed this. And here's a text message I got proving that it was 100 % this. Well, here's one that shows exactly the opposite. I'm like, well, I don't know. I know him pretty well. I think he could be incredibly pro-Israel and for the Israeli people, but doesn't mean that over the last few years that he couldn't have also started getting jaded about their leadership and government. The government of a country is not necessarily indicative of the people or of the nature of that. And so there's nuance. and watching people, some of whom were real friends of him, some of whom were probably embellishing their resume of their proximity to Charlie for clicks and whatever it may be, taking this binary approach.
1:28:32I know we discussed it sort of offline when we spoke right after that, but it was sort of disgusting, and yet you see that. And so you're allowed to have nuance. You're allowed to have some of these disagreements, And I think for the most part, the people are still want a general movement towards X, Y or Z. But to try to boot people out, like that's that's just a win for the Democrats. They'd love us to be fractured that way. It doesn't work. It doesn't work. I mean, you know, like you know, there are people that are so actively opposed to the so many of our policies. Republicans that vote against everything Republican.
1:29:11You know, there's a difference. I mean, there is a time for war, you know, with those. Someone's going to get primaried. Yeah. A Mitt Romney-style Republican today, you might as well have a Democrat, so you try to replace that. That doesn't mean you can't have disagreements with some people on certain things. And do what Charlie did, which is open up your platform to those who disagree with you, argue it out in public, get to a place. And honestly, maybe both minds change a little bit, and you find that common ground to be able to move forward. Yeah, right on. I'm not for deplatforming, really.
1:29:47Only in the most extreme cases where somebody's committed crimes repeatedly would I be in favor of deplatforming. But otherwise, people can have their say, and Americans have a way of figuring it out. Agreed. By the way, I love when they let certain idiots keep talking because it actually, you know, it's the greatest thing in the world. When the Democrats are pushing the trans thing, when they're fighting to make sure that we're giving American taxpayer dollars to illegal immigrants for health care while our own health care system is a disaster and we're trying to fix it. But no, no, no. We got billions of dollars for that, but we can't fix our roads.
1:30:20We can't fix our schools. We can't take care of our vets. When Democrats are keeping the government shut down and not funding our military, they voted for it again. They're not going to fund our military. when one of the leaders of the party was on, I mean, that news clip, who the hell was it? What was her name? Now, she was, well, people are going to have to feel pain, but that's the only leverage we have. I mean, like, well, like they're saying the quiet parts out loud. Like, please give her the mic with Kamala Harris when they were running. I'm like, can we please get her more airtime? Yes.
1:30:53For the love of Christ, take it away from Trump. Everyone knows what he wants. Everyone knows his message. Everyone understands his platform. Give her the mic because she doesn't have a message. She doesn't have a platform. And if you listen to her long enough, it's clear she really doesn't know anything. So what you're saying is you're hoping for a Kamala resurgence. I mean, aren't we all? We all are. Right? Wouldn't we love to see that? As a guy like me who, you know, can talk seriously but also does enjoy a little bit of the trolling and the ribbing. Like, is there anything better? Like, I mean, it's material forever.
1:31:31How do you know, decency man? Yeah. You know, the word salad, democracy without democracy isn't actually democracy for the sake of democracy. I'm like, what is this? Like, I literally thought, no, there was a while when I'm hearing these speeches, I'm like, well, someone actually prepared this speech. I'm like, it's got to be a Trump guy. Like, no, I'm like, it has to be, like, maybe it was like a Trump guy that dyed their hair rainbow colors and fooled them. He went deep. Yeah, I was like, it's got to be a plant. We got someone in the Kamala Harris campaign because no one in their right mind would write this speech.
1:32:17No, it was all genuine. And then it was better. The speech is for the other people that were endorsing her. Some of the great geniuses of Hollywood. They'd get up after being paid to be there millions of dollars and the teleprompter would go out and they're like, Yeah. Well, you're here. You don't really need the... Just finish it. We've been talking for 45 minutes. You don't need a teleprompter to have... Why are you here? It's like, I don't know. I'm being paid. Can you come up with something? They're like, not really. No, no. I got nothing. They did. We had J-Lo with, you matter. You matter.
1:32:52Okay. But they all found out the hard way that they don't have power anymore. Michelle Obama. Barack Obama. They couldn't move the needle. Taylor Swift, sorry, you don't have power in this lane. You mean Big Mike, right? Big Mike. I'm not saying... Allegedly. I'm not saying allegedly. I'm not saying it's 100%. I'm also not saying it's zero, folks. I'm still looking for the photo of her pregnant. Like, I've had five kids. I got pregnant pictures all over, you know, all over the place. I've never seen one, but I don't know. I'm not saying it's true, but, you know, there's a chance, folks. My mom, my mom is 84, and she called me up one day, and she goes, how come you never told me that Michelle Obama is a man?
1:33:47I said, Mom, have we been on the Internet again? She's gone down the rabbit hole. She said, no, my electrician told me. I said, when? She goes, when he came inside and I gave him a glass of wine. What? But the fact that so many people are not sure. Again, I'm not saying it's real, but there's a chance. She's a very unhappy woman. Deeply unhappy. I've never met somebody who hates her husband this much. No. I mean, you see the podcast. I'm like, man, if I was him, I'd be like, how do you like? I want to smack him in the mouth when I hear him eating. You also understand, in watching that, when she launched her podcast, and you have podcasts, I've got podcasts, and I'm like, you realize it's all a ruse.
1:34:35Yes. The numbers. I'm like, so this is the most powerful. Remember, that was the threat to run against Trump. I'm like, that threat to run against Trump got what's like 4 ,000 views or something. Not even like 1 ,000 on most of her videos. It was like insanely, now, probably got paid 10x whatever you or I were getting for hundreds times the viewers, but that's the Hollywood bribe, right? Yeah. but it's like wow it was all fake it's it's all an act locking to uh and all of these things are like i always go back sort of the trans women's sports because it does seem to be the hill to die on for the democrat party but i've been complaining about this one as insanity since like 16 15 16 before it was a real issue and even then you know i remember i tweet about it i'm like ah here the comments come and it wasn't what you thought that was like twitter 1.0 like 95 percent left.
1:35:25And, you know, these liberals in the comments are like, oh, I hate Don Jr. so much, but he ain't wrong on this one. Like, it was wild. And then you watch this thing sort of manifest into something where, like, if you were, like, trans insane, like, you were beyond reproach. You could do nothing wrong. You know, if you murder a bunch of Catholic school kids, like, you know, we don't understand the motive, but you're definitely not looking at my diary. And you're like, wow, it's all a creation. They made their own kings. They made and created their own monarchy, but it was always a house of cards.
1:36:05And you see that now, and it's a big joke. Thank God it's falling apart. You know, the latest poll showing that the college students coming in are far less attracted to this crazy radical ideology than the seniors who are in the colleges. So we're winning on that issue, but it's a fight that we're going to have to stay in. On the subject of Michelle Obama running for office, who do you view as the biggest threat on Team Blue for 2028? Kamala. Yeah. I know. I'm very scared. I don't think our bench can overcome her. Do it. Do it. Send her in. Jasmine Crockett. Oh. What do you mean? She's Texas She's yours You guys own that You guys own that That's on you No, but that's the reality No, hard no Listen, there's the obvious ones Literally, the fact that AOC is a contender In the polling Gavin Newsom, you destroy San Francisco You destroy California now you're totally qualified to destroy America.
1:37:18I mean, that's wonderful. Probably not something people should vote for. Pete Buttigieg? Yeah. They're literally laughing out loud. I like our Pete better than a chest-feeding Pete Buttigieg any day. But again, Pete Buttigieg, he was a real contender. Why? Because he was a mayor of a small town in Indiana that didn't do anything and had no real-world qualifications? It was a media creation. It was a media creation. Well, no, but he's LBGTQIA. So it's like, oh, well, that's good enough. Kamala says you can't have that on the ticket with her. Yeah. So, you know, and well, she chose Tim Waltz for his masculinity.
1:38:01Like, I'm like, when they started doing the Magus Afraid of Tim Waltz's masculinity, I'm like, I'm not so sure. We're good. I'm good with it. keep pushing it. He's a shooter in this. I'm watching him struggle like loading an auto loader. It's a semi-autobank. It's not that hard. They all sort of load the same way. But it goes to show you how unrelatable the Democrat party is. To them, that was actually masculine. What would have been arguably the most effeminate man I know in politics, that was the most masculine, and that was to balance out the ticket. Remember when he came out with spirit fingers?
1:38:47Jazz hands? They're like, yeah. And I'm like... Like a guy getting called on The Price is Right. That's what he looked like. Down to Contestant Showdown. I literally, I was like, are they punking? I was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to jump out of a cake and be like, you're being punked! Obviously this is not it. It was wild. And so, I think they're so lost and they buy their own BS so much because it's reinforced by everyone, right? Yeah. I think there's great American citizens who can be and are moderate Democrats in the heartland of the country, but they have no actual representation because you can't win a statewide race without money from California and New York.
1:39:33And if you're taking that money from California, New York, Soros, the other insanos and communists, like you basically have to toe the line for the most radical parts of that agenda and so it's a rudderless ship uh and that's truly scary because they do keep winning they're they're able to influence so much i think you know we chipped away so much of that what charlie was able to do so much of that with you know the youth movement where people are like you know once he opened up his platform to everyone and you know young kids were like watching him argue with some leftist or some doctor of gender studies at a university and watching this guy that never even went to college just dismantle their arguments one by one.
1:40:19They're like, wait a minute, maybe we've just been misled. And you saw this dynamic shift. The propagandizing of so much of our children's lives from elementary school onward, it's hard to break through. And so guys like that were able to do it. But once they see that message, you realize, like, the Democrat Party doesn't offer you anything unless you're totally dependent on big government, in which case, your voters. And that's why, and that's why, rather than actually appeal to reasonable Americans, they have to import a new voter base. It's all very obvious. It's why they're out there literally defending the due process for criminal cartel gang members running go-fast boats out of Venezuela bringing fentanyl to our country.
1:41:07They're more concerned about the due process of that than they were me, my father, anyone that was within about 500 miles of Washington, D.C. on January 6th. Their due process, screw that. But people who are bringing in fentanyl that kills, by the way, 100 ,000 Americans a year, two Vietnams a year, they're worried about due process for them? Come on, man. Like, this is not a party that you can stand behind, even if you don't necessarily agree with a lot of conservative principles. They're just lost. I mean, they're voting, and they're hoping for America to fail. Have you felt the resurgence of influx, you know, of young conservatives in the wake of Charlie's death?
1:41:55I mean, I feel like we've all felt it on some level, like people migrating to the Republican Party, to your dad, putting on a MAGA hat, putting on a Charlie Kirk or a Turning Point hat. I mean, anecdotally, we've all felt it. But do you think that's real? I think it's very real. I mean, and I saw it, like I said, I think, you know, Charlie would have said I probably did more Turning Point events than anyone other than him. You know, in the last 10 years, it was a big part of what I wanted to do. And maybe just, you know, I'm like the old guy at Turning Point now, so it maybe just makes me feel young.
1:42:26But no, it's amazing. Going around the country now, I mean, when he came to me in like 15, 16, and he was like, hey, we're going to do these college events. I spoke about it at his memorial services. I was like, wait, what? Like, we're going to go do an event at Penn State, and we're going to go to, you know, I told the story about being at, I guess it was Michigan State, and we're about to go on there. It's an auditorium, you know, similar to this. And of course, the university, you know, We have 5 ,000 reservations, so they give you a room that holds 1 ,000 or whatever it is, and they wouldn't do that, and then they've got to make sure that the leftists get in there.
1:42:59The state police came up to us, and we're like, listen, we can't tell you not to go on, but we also can't guarantee your safety at this point. It was that riled up, and we're like, no, both of our mentality was like, hey, I'd rather get my ass kicked than actually give them what they want and fold, and so we went out there and did it anyway. But we won over the crowd. It sort of started out rambunctious, and the crowd just shut down because it was just, you know, they weren't exactly sending their finest, no different than the No Kings protests. I'm like, you know, every once in a while, it's nice to shoot fish in a barrel, so especially in a place like that.
1:43:32What's her name again? Big Chungus. Yeah. Yeah. So it was great. And so we did these things, and you saw that movement, and year after year, I watched that organization grow and get bigger. And the first time we did, you know, AmFest, it was like 500 people in a room, and that was huge. Wow. And it was 2 ,000 and 3 ,000. It was like 18 ,000 last year, And I'm like, man, this is, but I also see it when I'm just around and out. And it's not just the young people. It's, you know, Hispanics, you know, and African-Americans, people that come up to you that just because you still, you know, like if you watch CNN long enough about yourself, you're like, I must be a terrible person.
1:44:06Like you still even buy into some of, you know, the narrative. Like there's, you know, people run up to you and you're like, am I going to get like hit? Or, and it's like, can we take a selfie? I'm like, I didn't see that coming. Yeah. The seismic shift, I saw it a little bit during the first term. And then once Biden came in and people were really experiencing that pain, it was just overwhelming. All of the demographics that are not supposed to be republic, they can't possibly be just wide open. And that's continuing to this day. And so I think that's huge. We just got to make sure we keep that going and we don't let that slide.
1:44:48How do you feel about the investigation into Charlie's death? Can we have faith in it? Do you feel like it's being well handled? So far, listen, so far so good. I think I've had this conversation with a lot of the guys that have been very involved from the beginning and others that are a big part of that movement that are going to take more of a role. Guys like J.D., like, hey, he believes we have to keep this going. People, you know, myself, hey, I did a lot of them, but I've got to do even more. We've got to keep this going. There's never going to be a replacement for Charlie Crick. You can't plug that in.
1:45:24But if we can find 10 people that can do 10 % of what he did and they go all in and do that, we can keep that alive. And honestly, we all owe that to him to do it. And so, you know, we're going to make sure that happens. And, you know, again, maybe we're blessed to, again, one day find a generational talent like that that can take over and step in. But I think he helped create and foment so many young people and bring them into the movement where they're able to speak their mind. And now the big part of it is really a critical match. You know, they used to get the whole, you know, hey, Don, great to see you, like, you know, hiding their support.
1:46:07people have learned that the biggest thing we can do is be unafraid. If we're unafraid, if you're willing to speak your mind, you can do that respectfully. No one's telling you, you have to get on a mic and speak in front of thousands of people, but just having the dialogue in and of itself is enough. You know, so many more people than you would ever possibly know, believe what you believe, but there's been a social consequence to actually saying it out loud. You know, they've seen that they've, they've been through cancel culture, they've been to the PTA meetings, they've seen what happens in the Starbucks lines.
1:46:40You open that door for them once they realize, you know what? There is kind of a support network here if I figure it out. It's so cathartic. You can't die in your bed saying, thank God I never offended anyone. That is just no way to go through life. That would be such a sad result. I actually feel like if I haven't offended someone, I've actually accomplished nothing. Yes, I failed. I'm a bit of a masochist when it comes to this crap. So, just to round back, do you have confidence in the investigation? Should we have confidence in this FBI investigating? I do. I mean, I don't know. I don't like it when the people have the private confidence.
1:47:18But I've spoken to everyone around and Erica. I do have confidence. When I start seeing some of the other stuff, it's like, man. And by the way, just so we're clear, as you all probably know, if you're here, you probably follow me a little bit. But I'm about as conspiratorial as it gets within the realm of sanity for good cause. I think I was the guy that first said the difference between a conspiracy theory and the truth is usually about six months. I was the guy canceled for pushing all of the obvious things that were conspiracy theories. Wuhan or whatever it may be. Lab virus leak. The problem is that there is a cottage industry of just cliques.
1:48:00And people that are more than happy to profiteer off of that. Again, I'm not saying that a lot of this stuff isn't real and isn't true, and I've been pushing all of that, but some of the stuff does get a little bit off the rails, and I think it's been used even by the other side as a way to distract from the bigger picture of what happened to him, of what the other side has proven that they are actually willing to do. You know, I got in trouble a little bit for saying, you know, people are like, that was so terrible. I go, no, you should watch the video. I go, no, but that's gruesome. Maybe you're a friend.
1:48:32I was like, no, watch the video. It is gruesome. It is sick. It is absolutely disgusting. But it is exactly what they are willing to do to you, okay? Not just this lunatic, the guys that tried to kill my father, the Democratic nominee to be Attorney General over in Virginia. I mean, where he's talking about, I hope they kill my opponent and I hope they kill his fascist children. I mean, this is the guy that could be the leading law enforcement official in the state of Virginia wishing that someone would murder his opponent and his children for having opposing views. We can't just say, okay, well, there's evil in the world.
1:49:18You have to understand how much it is. And this goes back to what we were talking about earlier. about. We have to understand that. I'm not saying when I say we have to play the same game, resort to violence, but we have to understand what they are willing to do. And we have to do everything in our minds and everything imaginable to prevent that from ever happening again, because that should never happen in any free nation, certainly not in America in 2025. And we're talking about how, we're talking about the solutions to that. No one on the right side calling for violence. It is use your voice.
1:49:50Speak out. Stop being a closet Republican or a closet conservative. Wear it loud and proud. Vote. Vote in the local school board elections. Vote in every election. Canvas. Get your neighbors there. All of it. I mean, again, it's not just about president. When Trump's not on the ticket, you can't be like, well, I don't have Trump now, so I'm not going to vote. No. You've got to vote down the chain. School boards, probably one of the most. Hell, there's congressional seats I'd give up to win certain school boards. Right on. Okay. Dog catcher. They will figure out how to weaponize the dog catcher, so run for that, too.
1:50:19We have to do a clean sweep. We have to be engaged at all costs. And we can't, again, buy into the narrative. Well, the violence is coming from both sides. No, it is not. The violence is coming from one side. Don't let them get away with that. Don't let them sell you that. There's a vast majority of the Democrat left that literally believes it's coming from both sides. Well, point out where the violence is coming from the right. Name one. Name one. They can't do it. It's coming from one side. People have to understand that, and it has to stop. The left points to two incidents. They point to the break-in at Nancy Pelosi's house and that Minnesota state lawmaker who was attacked.
1:51:07Neither of those, those are leftist victims, but neither of those was attacked by a conservative or by anybody motivated by conservatism or anything that they've heard from conservatives. But the narrative that it was, they're like, well, this happened from a conservative... No, it didn't. No, it didn't. They were Democratic lawmakers murdered by a Democrat. That worked for a while. The guy who attacked Paul Pelosi was carrying BLM flags and pride flags and was about as far left as they come. And the guy who attacked the Minnesota state lawmaker said he was motivated by Tim Walsh, who he claimed told him to go and kill her.
1:51:36And he worked for this. He was actually an employee of Tim Walsh. I imagine Tim Walsh wasn't hiring MAGA Republicans, in all fairness. But again, it doesn't prevent them from running that narrative. I see it on social media. It gets thousands. It's a conservative. No, it's not. It's not. But when they lost all their other options, when they can't win with dialogue, when they can't win with facts, when they can no longer jam it through because they're indoctrinating our children in schools, they feel desperate. This is their last line of defense because they've literally lost every other mechanism to make their points because their points are so bad.
1:52:12that it doesn't work. Are open-minded to political violence. One third. I'm actually surprised it's that low based on what I see, based on the narrative I see on social, based on the commentary, based on what's been sent to me. Do you ever get scared for yourself or your family? I always think much more about my children. I've sort of decided I'm just going to put myself out there and you're not going to be able to move forward the ball by sitting in a back room, right? You just can't do it. And I'm just not going to let him do that. But but, you know, I got the sort of, you know, powder filled, you know, white powder filled envelopes with, you know, sort of the cutout letters and hate mail.
1:52:53I hope you die. And, you know, I've had that a couple of times. I've actually one of one of the last live events of the 2024 campaign I did with Charlie Kirk. We almost had to stop because there was a guy threatening to kill me or whatever it was. and it was out there and I think, you know, they were like, well, you can't go. I was like, I'm going. And, you know, actually the cops like got them like before the event happened, but like they were out there doing this. So, you know, for me it's become almost like just there's an element of that that's there and you just got to take the chance. But I'm just not willing to put what I believe on hold for that.
1:53:31But it's more scary when, you know, my daughter has a stalker or whatever it may be. Then these things happen as well. And it's, you know, I'm much more fearful of that than I am for myself. Honestly, thank you for being that way and setting that example, Don, because... We all have to do it to some extent. Again, you know, they're resorting to violence. Right now. What was Charlie's crime? Charlie wasn't a radical. Charlie literally every day opened up one of the largest platforms in conservatism to people who despised him. He gave them one of the largest platforms in the world every day to try to make their point.
1:54:05the fact that they weren't able to do that and he was effective that was his crime and they killed him for it what why i thought a lot about this in the last month why was charlie targeted because he was effective i think he's he's the most effective messenger we had especially for you know again perhaps across the board uh but but certainly for the youth and i think the Democrat Party, it's why they've spent so hard taking over academia. It's why every preschool teacher is indoctrinating children. The stories I hear around the country are, it's mind-blowing how bad it is and how infected it is.
1:54:47And the fact that he was able to take them, not like the conservative party. I used to think it when he first proposed to the college campus tours. Well, we'll get them when they're 35 and they start paying taxes. It's like, well, man, but you're missing it. The fact that he was taking them out of graduate-level indoctrination and turning them in a couple of weeks, in a couple of months, in a year or two of college, that was a huge threat to the Democrat Party. That was their lock. They had the youth until God knows when, and Charlie flipped those numbers on his head, and that was the threat. And then he made his speaking ground one of the most dangerous places in America today, college campuses.
1:55:33Yeah. I mean, but it's a reminder. I take that whole thing as a reminder that we shouldn't cede the youth. We shouldn't cede an entire generation to the left. What if, as we've seen in the recent decades, they do get stuck there? They don't get out of it. And they're gettable. We can't cede anything, but we certainly can't give up on our kids, right? And I don't mean just picking them up at college level. We have to, that's why the school board stuff is so important, because we got to make sure these radicals aren't having the opportunity to indoctrinate our kids, where they can't read, they can't do basic math, they don't understand how anything in the real world works, but they do understand there's 4 ,376 genders.
1:56:10That bullshit has to stop, right? No. We can't compete against the world if our kids are being indoctrinated with woke leftist ideology and nothing that's actually practical, right? You see it every day. You see it coming out of college campuses. People, they're complaining about the The irony of sort of the, you know, paying off the student loans by the Biden administration, it was a bribe to the elite. Well, guess what, guys? Like, if you're asking a plumber to pay off your student loan because you got a gender studies doctorate, maybe you're not as elite as you think you are. Like, you know, like maybe you're not all that elite.
1:56:53Like, if you can't, if the Democrat Party thinks that a three-year-old should be able to change their gender without parental consent, but an 18-year-old is incapable of signing on the bottom line of a student loan document, Houston, we have a problem. Yeah, right. So, you know, again, the irony and the hypocrisy of the way they look at the world, it's like whatever suits their narrative, they're okay to latch on, but you point out the corollary and it's like, no, no, that's different. And so we have to get after that. I mean, the youth in America, that's number one. They're worth fighting for.
1:57:27I'm an old guy. I can stop doing whatever I want to do right now. I can go back to my fishing cabin and, like Tucker, probably be pretty happy for the rest of my life. It's like I keep doing this because we're fighting for them. Don Jr., thank you. Thanks for all your family has given. And thanks for what you personally have done. Thank you so much, Baggin. Really admire you. Thank you, guys. Isn't he amazing? Aw, thank you. That's so good. Whatever I can do. Yes, I appreciate it. I trust you at Amfist anyway. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. You will. Thank you, guys. Thank you, guys. Thank you for coming.
1:58:04Thank you for watching. I love you all. Fight, fight, fight!
1:58:13You know all those fad diets? Half of Americans do it. And if you do it enough, you could be at risk of diabetes, liver damage, heart attack, and stroke. Weight cycling is when you lose 10 or more pounds, but then you put the pounds back plus a couple more. That all puts tremendous strain on your organs and leads to serious health issues. Bottom line, most people need help to stop weight cycling. And that's why I wanna tell you about non-prescription lean created by doctors. Lean is an oral supplement, not a GLP-1 injectable. It uses studied ingredients, which lean says target weight loss in three powerful ways, maintaining healthy blood sugar, helping control appetite and cravings, and burning fat by converting it to energy.
1:58:54Burning fat helps keep the weight off. If you want to lose meaningful weight at a healthy pace and keep it off, consider adding lean to your diet and exercise lifestyle. Get 20 % off when you enter MK at TakeLean.com. That's code MK at TakeLean.com.
