53Ben Meiselas:All hell is breaking loose throughout the entire world as Donald Trump's disastrous and unlawful invasion of Iran is backfiring in Donald Trump's face. It is destroying the economies of countries throughout the entire world. Prime Minister Carney of Canada tried to do some emergency intervention by calling Donald Trump yesterday afternoon. Carney posted the following message. I spoke with President Trump this afternoon on a range of issues, including the economy developments in the Middle East and trade relations between our two countries. And we agreed to stay in close contact before being the prime minister of Canada.

29Ben Meiselas:Prime Minister Carney led the Bank of Canada. He also led the Bank of England through financial crisis. And right now, the world is in perhaps the biggest financial crisis ever. This is one of the biggest shocks, if not the biggest shock to oil supply ever in the history of humankind caused by Donald Trump. Right now, we have oil production shut down essentially in Iraq, in Kuwait, in Qatar, in Bahrain. Right now, we see the price of oil going to$1.15 a barrel. This may be$1.50 a barrel very soon. We have stock markets throughout the world crashing as a result of Donald Trump conduct. South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Australia saw their markets crash, the United States market crashing as well.

21Ben Meiselas:You have the prime minister, who's also the foreign minister of Qatar, sitting down for an interview with Sky News saying that de-escalation is needed immediately. The prime minister, Alfani, and foreign minister of Qatar praised the support of European allies and sent a message to the United States, which is de-escalate already. Stop this. Let's just end this already. What are you doing? Watch Al Thani, the prime minister of Qatar, on Sky News here play this clip. For the US, we would like to see a de-escalation. We would like to see an end for this conflict, a diplomatic solution that addresses our concerns as well as their concerns.

02Much has been made about the UK and Europe's response or the lack of. What's your take on how they have reacted to this conflict? Well, honestly, from our perspective, all our European partners have been providing us with significant support, whether it's politically, whether it's in any of the supply chain issues that we have. The United Kingdom has provided an outstanding support for Qatar. We have the joint squadron working together with our pilots. And we are very grateful for this partnership and for this alliance. I don't know why they say that Europe doesn't do anything, maybe on the general level, but on the level of bilateral relationship with us and with other GCC partners.

57Ben Meiselas:Yeah, despite Donald Trump and his regime lying and saying that Iran is absolutely decimated, quite the contrary. Iran selected its new Ayatollah yesterday, Monjaba, the son of the former Ayatollah, who is more extreme than his father was. And now he's had his father get killed, his family members get killed. He's in no desire to do any deal with the Trump regime. Iran continues to strike its neighbors. Strikes continue to rain down on Israel and Tel Aviv and surrounding cities there. The United States embassy in Saudi Arabia has essentially been shut down. The state department said diplomats get out right now.

41Ben Meiselas:You still have tourist areas and American interests in Bahrain and Qatar and United Arab Emirates continue to be hit. And as a result of the United States and Israel striking at desalination, water purifying areas in Iran, Iran is hitting desalination areas in the Middle East, like one in Bahrain right now. And without water, the Middle East basically is, you know, is essentially dead. And that is further fueling major crises right there. And Donald Trump is basically posting messages. Who cares if the oil goes up a little bit? Who even why does this even matter at all? You have French President Emmanuel Macron trying to take emergency action, calling all of his allies in the Middle East, actually at least publicly projecting the leadership that Donald Trump isn't.

36Ben Meiselas:Macron posted, I just held a call with the emir of Kuwait in the face of the attacks targeting the country. I reaffirm France's solidarity with them. He then says, I just held talks with his highness, the Emir of the state of Qatar. I reaffirmed to him, France's full solidarity with Qatar in the face of unacceptable attacks. Macron writes, I held discussions with the Egyptian president. He held even, even Macron held discussions with the president of Iran, Pazeshkian. He said, I emphasize the necessity of an immediate cessation of iran's attacks against countries in the region iran must ensure freedom of navigation by ending the de facto blockade of the strait of hermos in closing i once again express my deep concern regarding the progress of iran's nuclear and missile programs as well as the full range of the country's destabilizing activities more than ever a diplomatic solution to respond to these fundamental challenges put an end to the escalating tensions and preserve peace is essential.

40Ben Meiselas:We agreed to stay in touch. So at least opening up a diplomatic line there. And this is, we also learned that now eight U.S. soldiers have died since this war started, according to the U.S., although they lie about everything. So who knows if those are really the right numbers. I just want to always put that out there. I'm very skeptical of any numbers put out by the Trump regime. They cover a lot, but they say eight, seven in combat. And they say the eighth person died of other circumstances, which they refuse to say what it is, which raises a lot of red flags there as well. But a lot and nine to 10 seriously wounded.

19Ben Meiselas:Although, again, I'm not sure I trust. I know I don't trust the Trump regime's numbers or CENTCOM's numbers because they lie about everything. Prime Minister Carney wrote that today I convened the incident response group to discuss the ongoing hostilities in Iran and the Middle East and continued villages to ensure the safety and security of all Canadians. Our meeting focused on the efforts to protect Canadians. Canada is continuing to facilitate travel for Canadians looking to depart the Middle East and the Gulf region. We will take all possible measures to protect Canadians abroad, including those serving in diplomatic missions.

55Ben Meiselas:You see, Prime Minister Carney actually speaks and behaves like a leader, unlike Donald Trump. Lately, I've been trying to get my mornings together. Not perfectly, just better. Less chaos, less jittery energy, and more of that locked-in feeling that makes the day feel doable. That's where Mudwater comes in. Their original blend is a coffee alternative made with cacao, chai, turmeric, and functional mushrooms like lion's mane and reishi. You get a warm focus boost without that wired buzz or midday crash that usually tags along with a regular cup of coffee. And if you're still craving that true taste of coffee, you're in luck because they actually just launched a low calf coffee made with arapica coffee beans, L-theanine, and the same functional mushrooms you get in their other blends.

37It's rich, smooth, and only 45 milligrams of caffeine. So you get the flavor you love without the jitters, crash, or spiraling thoughts. So whether you're mixing up the original blend or easing into something gentler than your usual brew, Mudwater makes it ridiculously easy to start the day feeling good. And now you can grab it at Target and Sprouts nationwide, making better mornings easier than ever. Every single ingredient in Mudwater's products are 100 % USDA certified, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, and kosher. There's also zero sugar and no sweeteners added. 9:46Ben Meiselas:By the way, you know who is benefiting from this significantly. Russia is Karel Dmitriyev, Russia's envoy to the United States who runs Russia's sovereign wealth fund. Big buddy of Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, Dmitriyev is, he was the guy who was hanging out in Miami with them. And then that's when the United States all of a sudden talked about their special envoy, that the United States has a special envoy to Greenland, Jeff Landry, the governor of Louisiana, and then started threatening to further invade Greenland. Remember that? Well, Kirill Dimitriov is basically spiking the football and saying$150 per barrel is the new oil target, with even$200 per barrel, a possibility in a prolonged conflict.

35Ben Meiselas:Russia is celebrating with good reason what the Iran war has done to the oil price. This has been a huge benefit to Russia and the United States has been helping Russia, right? The U.S. withdrew certain sanctions from countries to purchase oil from Russia. So the U.S., like India, you want to buy oil from Russia. Great. Go at it. And Russia has been able now to sell its oil to a lot of markets. And now as the U.S. is behaving this way, Europe may be forced to buy Russian gas and oil again in droves due to Trump's war against Iran, which would be a serious blow to Ukraine. And as Jane Keeve writes, Trump doesn't take a piss without first asking Putin if it will help him.

24Ben Meiselas:And this is a big deal because, you know, the EU is fearing that a prolonged closure of the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hermoz, will force it to reconsider its tough stance on not buying oil from Moscow. The crisis in the Middle East, the war in the Middle East has again raised the discussion about returning to Russian energy carriers. This is also one of the impacts of Donald Trump's disastrous war. It should also be noted that the far right-wing extremist party in Germany that the Trump regime has been trying to desperately ingratiate itself with kind of Putin solidarity between MAGA and the AFD party in Germany.

09Ben Meiselas:Remember how the AFD senior people met with our State Department people. And as part of our, the United States, I hate to say our, but you know, it's the United States position is to prop up groups like the AFD and the United States said in its 2026 foreign policy paper that it also wanted to destroy, essentially said this, destroy the European Union by supporting groups that are more MAGA-like. So the AFD was at the top of that list, their far right-wing pro-Putin party in Germany. And now the AFD is attacking the Trump regime's war against Iran. Here's the latest article. Germany's AFD ditches Trump over Iran.

54Ben Meiselas:Anti-Americanism is in the far right party's DNA. The idea of an alignment with MAGA was folly. The AFD long staged itself as Donald Trump's closest ally. In the first stress test, this is from the Wall Street Journal, on the first day of the attacks on Iran's regime, it dropped him. Anti-Americanism runs too deep in the party. Here is my new commentary in the Wall Street Journal. This goes on to talk about how the AFD takes their support for Putin's Russia very seriously. They and Putin share a deep antipathy toward America, regardless of who is in charge of it. Yes, the same Putin who is sharing intelligence with Iranians against U.S.

36Ben Meiselas:targets. So I just want you to think about how dangerous and idiotic the Trump regime is. Supporting Putin when Putin wants to destroy the U.S. and is literally providing coordinates and intelligence to Iran to kill Americans and to attack American interests and they're supporting Iran during the war. And then Trump and his regime rush to support parties like the AFD who end up not supporting Donald Trump and who support Putin and make it clear that they don't support what the United States is doing. But this is who the Trump regime is running to while the Trump regime has all but destroyed NATO.

11Ben Meiselas:And while the Trump regime attacks, you know, all of our traditional allies or former allies, and now we don't have any friends at all. And we're helping Putin right now while begging Zelensky for help on striking down the Shahid drones and ballistic missiles since Ukraine has developed an expertise in how to do that. But we're now helping Iran make more money by empowering Russia as well. And so Russia is going to help Iran as Russia gets rich. And this is all screwing the United States. I mean, it harms the United States. You couldn't have a more stupid foreign policy. And by the way, there are anti-American protests taking place across the world right now as a result of this.

52Ben Meiselas:I mean, look, just look at these anti-American protests in the Philippines right now. You can see for yourself.

09Ben Meiselas:I'll show you the video of the announcement when the new Ayatollah was selected in Qatar. are so you can see what their people were thinking. I'll show you this clip right here.

35Ben Meiselas:Here is what Mike Walls, the US ambassador to the United Nations, said when he was asked on Meet the Press about the U.S. supporting Russia against U.S. interests. Play this clip. It's Iran to help target U.S. assets in the region. Will there be consequences for Russia? Well, as Special Envoy Wyckoff said last night on Air Force One, He sent a very strong message to Russia. I have no doubt President Trump will deal with it accordingly. Will there be consequences, though, more than words? I don't want to get into intelligence, but I'll tell you what, Russia right now has just lost its main supplier of these one-way drones that they have been sending in night after night into Ukraine.

27They just lost their main supplier of ballistic missiles. President Trump has taken incredibly decisive action in finally sanctioning both Rosneft and Luke oil, the main energy suppliers. That's a main form of revenue going into Russia. So no one can argue that he hasn't taken tough measures and will continue if he decides to do so as commander in chief. If Russia's giving Iran intelligence, do you effectively consider that Russia has entered this conflict? Well, we know that both Russia and Iran have had this symbiotic relationship, number one. Number two, if they are providing anything, it certainly hasn't been very effective because the U.S.

10military is decimating Iran's air force, air defenses, Navy, ground forces, command and control. So whatever they're providing, if they're providing anything, hasn't shown to help them very much.

25Ben Meiselas:I mean, again, how weak and pathetic can you be? I mean, it just literally reeks of complete and utter weakness. And then finally, let me just read this to you, because I think that this is, you know, so on point right now. And Lemon Sturge just wrote this. So far, this Iran operation is a cascade of worst case outcomes. Iran effectively closed the Strait of Hermose, collapsing tanker traffic by 80 to 90 percent and sending oil prices from about$65 to over$115 per barrel in just over a week. U.S. operational costs at least$1 billion per day. Iranian drone and missile attacks have killed seven Americans and wounded eight.

09Ben Meiselas:A likely U.S. strike on February 28th hit an all-girls elementary school. Kuwait was expected to have 18 days of storage before cuts, but began reducing oil output within two to three days of the blockade. Iraqi oil productions basically have been shut down. Qatari oil protections basically have been shut down. Our Treasury Department goes and gives waivers for people to buy oil from Russia. Our U.S. embassy evacuations collapse into disaster as the State Department did not know what the hell it was doing. Iran's Supreme Leader has been replaced by his more hardline son. America's economy is crashing.

46Ben Meiselas:World economies are crashing. And all Donald Trump says is short-term oil prices, which will drop rapidly when the discretion of Iran nuclear threat is over, is a very small price to pay for the U.S. and the world. Safety and peace. Only fools would think differently. How utterly horrific. Hit subscribe. Let's get to 7 million. Thanks for watching.
