In short
Live breaking-news roundup focused on escalating Middle East and Ukraine war developments, alleged Iranian/IRGC attacks in the Strait of Hormuz, Houthi threats after explosions in Sanaa, and broader claims about U.S./NATO and Trump administration escalation. Also discusses two aviation incidents (FlyDubai and RAF Fairford) and questions official narratives, plus domestic politics and military leadership changes.
Guest backgrounds
No guests are interviewed in this transcript. Ben Meiselas references a prior conversation with pro-Houthi reporter Hussein al-Bukhati, but he is not a guest in this episode.
Key claims (Ben’s assertions)
Explosions in Sanaa may trigger “severe retaliation” by Ansarallah/Houthi forces against Saudi Arabia. Iran (IRGC) struck a tanker in the Strait of Hormuz; multiple other tankers were hit in 48 hours. China imposed diesel export controls, driving Brent/WTI higher and worsening “crack spreads.” Trump and Netanyahu are escalating toward Iran; Trump threatens NATO countries via a “naughty list.” Russia warns it will use nuclear weapons if Kaliningrad is targeted. Ben questions whether FlyDubai and RAF Fairford incidents are truly Iran-linked.
Notable examples
USS Theodore Roosevelt deployment; alleged 10,000 Marines heading to the Middle East; Garen-4/Garen-5 drone strikes; Zelensky FP7 upgrades; FlyDubai pilot/co-pilot stabbing story; RAF Fairford “terrorists” released on bail.

Automatic transcript. May contain errors.0:01Welcome to Ben on Breaking News. I'm Ben Meiselas. This is your breaking news. Moments ago, we learned that there were explosions heard in Sanaa. That's the Ansarala or Houthi capital in Yemen. The Houthis stated that they would have severe retaliation against Saudi Arabia if their capital of Sanaa was struck. We're going to be following these developments throughout this live and throughout the evening to determine what happened and what the Ansarallah-Houthi response is going to be. Meanwhile, we also learned that Iran struck another tanker in the Strait of Hormuz. The UKMTO is now reporting that that took place.
0:45It took place about two hours ago, but we now have the final confirmation that it did indeed happen, a tanker on fire there. This follows at least three, potentially four other tankers struck in the Strait of Hormuz also in the past 48 hours by Iran's IRGC. We also are learning that China is putting on certain export controls over its diesel, over the diesel that its refineries are exporting. this as the cataclysmic consequences of Donald Trump's war in Iran. It's being felt throughout the world. On the news of China's export controls, we're seeing Brent and WTI crude surge yet again. You'll recall earlier this week, the Trump regime spent ample time trying to manipulate the markets every single moment.
1:43And they were able to manipulate the paper markets of crude for a few days, actually. Meanwhile, the actual marketplace for refined distillate, like the diesel and the gas that comes from refineries, those were still hitting record highs. It's why we talk a lot on the Midas Touch podcast and on Ben on Breaking News about the crack spreads, right? The difference between what refineries are selling gas and diesel for versus what the paper price of crude is, Brent and WTI, because that paper market is subject to a lot of manipulation that we've been talking about. M.B. Galibov, Iran's parliament leader, he's been making social media posts just trolling the United States and trolling Donald Trump for saying that oil prices are coming down and the Strait of Hormuz is opened.
2:40And we know that's not the case. The Strait of Pramos is controlled by Iran. And we know that the flow of oil has been severely curtailed. The American people see what's happening. Donald Trump's approval hitting record lows. I mean, when it comes to the issue of the economy, Donald Trump's approval across all relevant polling entities, it's like in the low 20s at this point. And we're seeing the map shift even more blue on all of these polls, both in terms of the Senate and the House. Donald Trump claiming this is all fake polls, fake polls, fake polls. And then he was, of course, ranting and raving like a lunatic throughout the day.
3:24And in that Time Magazine article, did you see that where he would be asked questions about AI and he would say, did you know about my uncle? And the reporter would be like, I don't know, the professor at MIT from like 40 years ago who's been dead for a long time. Is that, yeah, yeah, I believe in genes, man. I believe in genes. I have the highest of IQs. I have the highest because my uncle, we have the same genes. He was a professor at MIT. I mean, this guy's an absolute lunatic. This is in political messaging. I'm not telling you vote this way or vote that way. The guy's a freaking lunatic. He's a liar.
4:00He's a lunatic. And, you know, as I showed you, I dropped the video yesterday. We spoke with a pro-Houthi reporter, Hussein al-Bukhati, and he talked about how everybody was just like laughing at Donald Trump, at just how he behaved in front of Xi, and Trump is the laughingstock in front of the world. but also kind of terrifying what a lunatic and psycho he is. And, you know, as we're seeing the just instability throughout the world, of course, I mean, you have Putin and the Kremlin yesterday putting out a statement that if NATO makes any moves towards Kaliningrad, which is a city kind of nestled between a lot of European countries, it's not actually attached to the contiguous Russia.
4:50But Russia says, we will use nuclear weapons against you if you take any actions against Kalinograd. And so you had those statements going out. And as we've pointed out here, Russia has developed these new drones, the Garen-4, the Garen-5. 5. The Garin 5 I view as kind of a hybrid drone cruise. The Garin 4 jet-fueled, powered drone, very hard to strike down. Zelensky used to, in Ukraine, had a 90 % interception rate on the drones, about a 0 % interception rate on the ballistics. Now the drone interception rate's around 51 % on those Garin 4s, even less on the Garin 5s. I would put it more like 20 % and still a 0 % interception rate on the ballistics.
5:38We're seeing Kiev get hit hard, Zaprija get hit hard. We're seeing areas close to Donetsk oblast being hit very hard. It's going to be a very difficult winter, and this seems to be exactly what Trump and Putin wanted when it comes to Kiev. Look, Zelensky is still doing everything he can to strike back. We're covering some of those strikes at the logistical centers taking place in Russia based on Zelensky rolling out also the FP7, which is an upgrade from the other flamingos that we were talking about, the fire point one, the fire point two, long range, hitting 1 ,500, 2 ,000 in some cases, even by like Siberia, like 3 ,000 kilometers.
6:24But we're certainly seeing escalation there. Putin is talking about nuclear, using nuclear weapons if Kaliningrad is taken or if there's any strikes there. And Donald Trump, meanwhile, is threatening NATO. We saw Donald Trump say that he would not meet with certain NATO countries in Poland next month, which he's expected to meet with. He said, I won't meet with them if they're on my naughty list. So this is not like me being hyperbolic. The Trump regime has created a naughty list, and the UK, France, and some other countries are on the naughty list. So they're not invited to the NATO meeting coming up.
7:08There's also a working group that deals with NATO's future and the plans for 2030 and beyond. And if you're on the naughty list, you're banned from that working group, according to the Trump regime. Now, look, I've had a lot of people watch the videos I've made and when I've worried out loud that NATO exists in name only right now. Some of your comments were, Ben, it's the United States that's basically withdrawn from NATO. You still have NATO pretty much under the control of Europe right now. And so it exists, it functions as kind of a NATO plus or NATO minus, whatever you want to call new NATO, which is NATO without the United States.
7:50Sure. you know but that's like saying you know pick your favorite sports team yeah we've got that sports team but without who used to be the starting lineup and so sure it exists I get it but when fundamentally the main player that put it together isn't a part of it that should cause real alarm and we shouldn't understate what that means and so I apologize if I was hyperbolic and saying NATO exists in name only. It wasn't an attempt to fear monger. It was simply to point out that the U.S. is mainly responsible for forging the NATO alliance. And when that entity withdraws and attacks NATO, I have to kind of call it out what it is.
8:36Meanwhile, the Trump regime appears to be ramping up for further escalation against Iran, at least after the midterms, Of course, maybe sooner, about 10 ,000 Marines and other members of our military are being sent now to the Middle East. You have the USS Theodore Roosevelt that's taking off and sailing from its current position right now, I believe in San Diego, and it's going to be heading to the Middle East. It will get there by mid-November, so after the midterms. Literally thousands and thousands of our service members are heading there now. That will put three carrier strike groups in the area, lots of amphibious assault ships there.
9:23And so you can see things clearly escalating there. And then you've had these incidents that deserve scrutiny. I'll just say they deserve scrutiny. And I hear you loud and clear that there are a lot of question marks behind these incidents. And I think that would be putting it lightly, that there are question marks behind what's going on here. And in normal times, I don't think we would doubt what we are being told and fed. But in these times, I think we have to put our guard up and ask serious questions. And so that's what we'll do here at the Midas Touch Network. It's not my job to fear monger or to say, here's definitely what happened.
10:11I'll be very clear with the disclaimer that I don't know, but I have a lot of questions. So this fly Dubai airplane incident that took place where you had this Indian pilot with an Omani co-pilot. You'll see the image in the video right there. The story, I suppose, is that the Omani co-pilot stabs the Indian captain as they were heading from Dubai to Tel Aviv. And then the plane suddenly drops 17 ,500 feet, the distance of six, what is it, Burj Khalifa skyscrapers. And it's going straight down, apparently. And then the story is a plumber who has no airplane experience at all. who watched airplane crash investigation television shows, based on that, went to the control yoke in the cockpit, which was opened up by the pilot.
11:12Guy with zero experience. As the plane is going down 17 ,000 feet, and then he pulls up on the control yoke, causing the plane to gain altitude back and then saving all 170 people aboard this plane. Then there were two off-duty pilots who were apparently on the plane, and they were the ones who eventually landed it. That's the story that's being told. This plumber, who was the hero, said that he watched air crash TV shows, and that's how he learned about all of this. Then he met with Netanyahu 11 hours after the incident, still wearing clothing that was filled with blood and they didn't change his outfit.
11:58So all I gave you there are the undisputed facts of what's being said. Okay? And I am always very careful on this network as the co-founder of this network, other than to present to you those facts that are being put out there and fed, you can put in the comments and we're going to exploit it. But I don't buy just the narratives that are sold just because they're out there. So that's what they're pushing. We should say, show me more, explain how all of this happens. It reminds me a little bit of when they said the F-15 pilot, fell, you know, that the plane was hit, the parachute didn't work, fell thousands of feet to the ground, the parachute didn't work, hit the ground at 100 miles per hour, then got up, walked miles, 5, 10, 20 miles to a mountain, climbed up a 7 ,000 foot mountain, and then was rescued over there.
13:10And then his name was Dude Bravo. He's like middle, like not even middle aged, dude was like 50 years old and he somehow got there. And then he was on, uh, and he said the reason he did it was because of God and God saved his life. And, you know, and I'm thinking to myself, if you hit the ground going a hundred miles per hour, after your plane gets hit, you're going to die. And you're certainly not going to be able to climb a 7 ,000 foot mountain after traveling multiple miles. I mean, you know, and then I think about what's being told about the fly Dubai situation. And I just question if you're going down 17 ,000 feet at that, at those speeds, you know, someone who watches an aircraft show on TV, getting into the cockpit and pulling it up, you know, it just is, you know, it, it, it, in normal times I would be like, okay.
14:02But in these times where the Trump regime and the Netanyahu regime say all of these things, I think we have to wait to get more information. Because the thing is, now the Trump regime and UAE are saying this is Iran, IRGC was likely behind this. That's what Trump said earlier, IRGC likely behind this. They're going to pay for it. They're going to pay for it. Then the UAE is now saying it's probably IRGC. And I'm also thinking like, in terms of Iran's plan controlling the Strait of Hormuz, why, of all things to do, that would clearly lead to an escalation and turning world sentiment against you if you did it.
14:46And if you were going to do that, why would you be withholding strikes from Israel right now, but then do it that way? I don't know. There's a lot, just put it this way. There's a lot of questions there. And this is a network where we don't just absorb and parrot back. We think we're deep, we're critical thinkers over here. Then there's the Royal Air Force Fairford incident, where they said there were five terrorists who were captured and they're apparently linked to Iran also. That's the official narrative, but they were released on bail and they didn't have explosives on them either. They had like empty cans of oil and apparently they were the ones who called the police.
15:27So they called the police on themselves. And I think that's strange. And then if they are terrorists, why would you release the terrorists on bail? But we're being told that's linked to Iran. So you have Royal Air Force incident. You then have the fly Dubai incident. And again, this follows Netanyahu meeting with MBZ, the president of the UAE, who's the leader of the Abu Dhabi, one of the emirates in Abu Dhabi. And then Netanyahu was saying, look, he's got, before the election, we expect there to be all of these terrorist attacks. We expect these strikes to take place. We expect all of this to happen.
16:11We expect all this to happen, is what Netanyahu said. And then there were others in the defense community that said there really aren't any significant elevated risks that normally exist. And then we have Royal Air Force incident, fly Dubai incident, and now Trump and Netanyahu are saying, and UAE, Iran, part of the Abraham Accords, Iran, Iran, Iran, Iran, Iran, and Trump sending the aircraft carrier, USS Theodore Roosevelt over there. And so, again, what we do here on the Midas Touch Network, I'm simply laying out the facts as we know them. You could do what you want with them, but that's what we do.
16:53We try to break them down here in ways that are easy to digest and understand, form whatever opinions you want to form from them. We know we have an intelligent audience here. And I think that that's one of the things we appreciate about this community. We're not trying to propagandize each other. We put it out there and you may say, Ben, that Royal Air Force makes sense. Fly Dubai makes sense. Don't even give me any other implications. Good. Okay. Or you may say, I am suspicious or I'm asking questions. Good. Do what you want to do. I'll tell you for me a major question that I have aside from those incidents.
17:31And I go back to this and I admit to you that when I heard about the Iranian protests that were purportedly democracy style protests back in January. And we were told that there were 12 ,000 protesters who were killed by Iran and the IRGC. I never would have fathomed that I would not believe that number. And in fact, I would say this is what we're being told in January. This was before the catastrophic war in Iran, where I think Trump basically did the equivalent of a coach showing you the playbook of what plays they're going to call before they call them. And like, oh, that's what you're doing.
18:12And so I heard 12 ,000. I saw the protests taking place. I would never think 12 ,000 people were not, who makes that up? But then what I've been seeing is then the Trump regime said it was 30 ,000. Then they said it was 35 ,000. Then they said it was 40 ,000. Then they said it was 50 ,000. Then last week, they said it was 60 ,000 protesters who were killed. And then this week, today, in that Time magazine article, they said it's somewhere between 70, this is what Trump said, 70 ,000 to 72 ,000 protesters were killed by Iran. And so when you're willing to now make up the number, 12 ,000 to 72 ,000, the question that I genuinely asked then is, was there 12 ,000 or was it more like 3 ,000 or 4 ,000?
19:04And was the United States, CIA and Mossad, were they the ones who were influential in this to begin with? And what was really happening here, things that I truly never thought that I would go down this path of awakening or understanding. But when you're telling me 12 ,000 a certain time, and now you're saying 72 ,000. And if you're willing to lie about 72 ,000, how do you know, and you lie about everything,$21 trillion coming in, and this is happening. And what was the what was one of the big lies that we were told yesterday, Trump did that press conference with the Alaska delegation, Alaska's governor, senator, we're bringing in $54 billion from South Korea.
19:50South Korea has agreed. They're doing this big LNG investment in Alaska. Alaska MAGA Republicans are falling behind in the polls, right? They're falling behind in the polls there, in the Senate race and other major races. So just promise the people of Alaska$54 billion. That's never going to happen. They announced it. And what happens today? South Korea, Seoul, their industry minister says completely false, not doing it. We're not even past preliminary discussions, right? The day before that, who'd they bring into the White House? Iowa, Iowa's delegation, why MAGA Republicans are trailing in Iowa.
20:28So they bring in their candidate for the Senate, Ashley Hinson, MAGA Republican extremist over there. They bring in all these other Iowa members who are running for Congress and elsewhere. And Trump says, look, look, we're going to be doing whatever there was,$30 billion or a$40 billion investment in Iowa. And it's a company that's based in Minnesota. I believe it is an Indian-based company. And Trump is friends with these oligarchs over there. And they basically, in my view, make a fake announcement, giving you my opinion of, look what we're going to be doing in Iowa. Y 'all are going to get rich.
21:01Meanwhile, the ranchers, the farmers, everybody's been screwed in the state. So what do you do now? You just make up fake deals, fake deals here, fake deals there. And so it's all one big fraudulent regime. And so I go back to where I started. It seems obvious the Trump regime is looking to escalate. Donald Trump is this ranting and raving lunatic. You've got Putin talking about nuclear weapons if he says NATO makes any move in Kalinograd. You've Donald Trump not inviting NATO countries to this important NATO meeting in Poland. We also heard from one of Ukraine's former defense ministers who was saying that not only has the Trump regime refused to provide Patriot interceptors, but the Trump regime also has refused to provide certain missiles to strike the ballistic missile launchers of Russia.
21:49About 3 ,000 were promised to Ukraine. That's now not being turned over. So you have to just assess the totality of circumstances for yourself about what's going on here. And the way we just did this in 22 minutes, deeply comprehensive, fact, fact, fact, fact, fact, fact, fact, That to me is what's needed. That's how we get out of this hell. I want to remind everybody, WTF America is the book I wrote with my brothers. There's an audio book here. I read the audio, so do my brothers. Lots of people didn't know that there was an audio component of this, and we read the audio. It's not like some AI voice or some other narrator.
22:25We spent a lot of time doing the audio. So once I said that, I saw everybody going to get the audio. So go check that out. Also, there's an e-book and a hardcover book. It comes out October 20th. But order it now. The pre-orders have been very, very helpful. It's dedicated to you. It's about you. It's about the Midas Mighty. Look, when did the news just decide they're not going to show what's happening in the war? Like, they just don't show war footage anymore. When I grew up, I mean, I remember when there were wars, we would get to see it and there would be people there who would cover it. And it helped inform our worldview. Whether we were being heavily propagandized or not, we probably were. Nonetheless, we saw some, I think, real powerful war reporters, whether you go back to the Vietnam era, you go back to the original Persian Gulf War, you go back to all of these wars.
27:18It helped us, I think, try to process it and make sense of all of it. And that just doesn't exist anymore. And instead, you have Trump in the Oval Office ranting and raving like a lunatic. Like when he speaks at this point, for me, it's just like, blah, blah, blah. I mean, it's just like watching it. It's just a buffoon. It's a clown. Courting hands, it's just some stupid shit. We should be seeing what's happening, right? When we talk about Garen 4, Garen 5, drone striking into Kyiv, we should talk about that. When we talk about Zelensky striking logistical centers and refineries in Russia, we should talk about that.
28:00We should see it. We should understand what's happening. We should be focused on what's happening in the Strait of Hormuz. There's visuals. We should show people what it looks like in Manab when the Trump regime slaughters little girls. We should show what it looks like in Le Maire at a volleyball game when the Trump regime slaughters little children over there, sports hall over there. We should be aware of what's happening in the world right now. Let me just show you some footage right here. This is the past 24 hours or so of Russian strikes in Ukraine. Let me show you what's going on over here.
28:37You'll see over here telecommunications facilities that are being struck over there. Yeah, let's play the video of what's happening as well, too.
29:12Maybe you have it over there. So there you saw the drone striking into Kiev, striking into a supermarket separately. And then you saw the telecommunications towers going down. And it does look like there was a new style drone by Russia or an alteration or addition to the to the Garen series of drones. that was able to really kind of cut through some of the Ukrainian defenses. Heading into the winter, what we're going to see Russia do is likely strike a lot of these power facilities, try to make it a very cold, frigid winter, try to destroy the morale of the people over there. Did you all see what's happening here in that state of the force address, whatever the hell that was supposed to be with Pete Hegseth?
Read the full transcript
29:59And it was one of the most deranged things I've ever seen in my life. And I don't think that's getting nearly enough attention as well. So Pete Hegseth addressed, I'm not even sure who was even sitting there, because in the first iteration of this, it was generals and admirals. And now I think he brought in not the generals and the admirals, but his speech was basically bragging about cutting 20 % of admirals and generals and getting rid of their positions permanently. And then he talked about how we're an army of patriotic cowboys with testosterone testing. And he's not joking. This isn't like him being humorous or funny.
30:45He's a psycho. He's an actual lunatic also. And he says that he gets his commands from the book of Isaiah. And the book of Isaiah tells us all, that we all need to be sent to war in the Middle East, that Isaiah says, send me, send me, send me to catastrophic wars, and I will die for anything. I mean, I'll just show you what he says. First, this is where he says, the ideological clowns are out, the patriotic cowboys, but their testosterone are in. Here, play this clip. The ideological clowns are out, the patriotic cowboys are in with testosterone testing on top. Diversity is not our strength. Unity is our strength.
31:33I'm literally thinking of like Manchurian defense secretary, in my opinion. Also, he looks like a Simpsons character. I mean, he literally visually looks painted, like painted a Simpsons character color and the error of testosterone, patriotic cowboys with testosterone. I just don't know what the hell is wrong with these people. I don't think, and I don't, I really don't know. I mean, I was friends with a lot of Navy SEALs when I was in college and law school. And I've lost touch with some of those friends, but occasionally say what's up. My buddy was in one of the SEAL teams. And so I hung with them and I just, I, I, I've been so busy building this network.
32:19I should reach back out, but I, you know, they're, they've since no longer are in active duty or anything like that. But how do you not look at this guy like as, as a total clown? I mean, anybody who goes around bragging about being alpha and having a lot of testosterone, I mean, I, I just think it's some like, I just think it's some weak shit. Like I look at them like, what the hell are we even doing here? And then he goes on to say, he does this weird Trump impression. The War Department, as you know, is colorblind, gender neutral, and merit-based. Well, you're proving that it isn't. You should not be anywhere near any position that's even 10 rungs down on the ladder from where you are right now, let alone the defense secretary.
33:06And frankly, shame on every traitorous, treasonous Republican senator who voted for this asshole. Seriously, play this clip of him right here. The War Department, as you know, is colorblind, gender neutral and merit based. Or as the president likes to say, Pete, central casting. I'm just an idiot. He's just an idiot. It's not funny. He's an idiot. it's again i don't care about your politics democrat republican independent i really don't that's that's a loser okay and we should not be augmenting these loser pathetic individuals to positions anywhere near leadership and shame on people who were leaders who normalize this stuff or who go there and who don't call it out every damn day.
34:02And then they announced a religious department that they were creating in the Pentagon. They announced they've created a religious division because Pegsett says that's as important as physical fitness is your religious fitness. And you have a direct line directly to God at the Pentagon right now. And then he says, well, this is the message from God that the book of Isaiah said, all of you need to go to war. Send me, send me, says the book of Isaiah. That is Jesus and God's message to you. Americans, you need to die for Donald Trump. Here, listen to what he says. Let's play it. Yes. Each of us committed to the nation with the sentiment of the sixth chapter of the book of Isaiah.
34:48Lord, here I am. Send me. Send me to fight the Redcoats. Send me to fight the communists, send me to fight the Islamists. Send me. You see, the Ivy League faculty lounges, they'll never understand you. And that's okay, because they could never, ever do what you do. The media will miscarriage. That's what the book of Isaiah is. That's what the book of Isaiah told you. Send me to the Redcoats. Send me to the Islamists. Send me. No, don't. I just want you to think about this too. This Trump regime, these MAGA con artists, snake oil salesmen, they ran on, Biden's going to send you to war. Biden's going to send you, we're going to make sure you don't get sent to wars.
35:38That's literally one of the things they ran on. And now they changed the name of the Defense Department to the War Department and their slogan is, send me based on anything you tell me, just send me to war. By the way, send me is the, in addition to not being in the book of Isaiah, in addition to just being a lunatic slogan, is the exact opposite of what our nation should be about. The defense department shouldn't be send me based on anything. It should be defense. What are the values and principles? What is it that I am protecting? And the order should be lawful orders, not the unlawful orders that this war criminal regime has sent our troops into, making our troops complicit in war crimes.
36:26And when I hear from military families, and at the Midas Touch Network, we hear from many military families. And one of the things we hear is that their family members who are serving don't know what to do right now because they know they are becoming complicit in war crimes, slaughtering little children for the Epstein class. They know they're complicit when they're on the aircraft carriers that shoot the missiles that kill the little kids, that they are complicit and they're having nightmares and they are feeling lots of sense of dread and depression and they're not even getting the food and supplies that they need.
37:10And now we're sending another carrier to join the war crime show that's taking place over there. I mean, if you think about the blockade that's taking place and what Besant's doing, what are they doing? They are attacking the civilians of Iran. They're not going after the IRGC. They say the way we'll make a deal with the IRGC and Iran's leadership is to try to starve the civilians to death. Again, that comes from predators. That comes from the Epstein class thinking, right? It's sick. You are blocking civilian supplies. You're not blocking military supplies. By your own admission, you've destroyed the Iranian military, which we know is all bullshit and not true.
37:49But regardless, you're stopping food and medicine from getting into Iran. Same thing with the blockade of Cuba. You think you're going to win the support of the people in Cuba by starving them? I mean, again, you think, well, who would think that? Epstein class, right? predators. The people who cover up child sex trafficking rings are the same people who start blowing up children's elementary schools the moment they start a war. Child sex trafficking ring cover up, blowing up child elementary schools. Epstein class, this is who they are. And these sickos, these traitors, these Epstein class oligarchs who are screwing us all over,
38:28Ben Meiselas:they're the ones who are running our country into the ground. Interestingly, when you read the Epstein files. Epstein talked about all this stuff also. And again, I'm not veering into the land of conspiracy, although sometimes as I articulate this, I feel to myself, I'm like, okay, what are you talking about there, Ben? But if you look at it, what's he talking about? He's talking about Putin taking over Crimea in 2014, what that's going to do to the ruble. He's talking about the crypto, how everybody can make a lot of money when you have all of these wars taking place throughout the world. He's part of this oligarch network, and he's the middleman in this oligarch network talking about creating fragmentation and division and shattering the post-World War II US architecture.
39:12Because in that chaos, these Epstein class people can feast and steal all of your money and make all of this money by exploiting people who are panicked in this environment. They view panic, they view that as a time for exploitation. Inject panic make it easier to exploit. Panic becomes the numbing agent for their exploitation. Remember that. The panic becomes their numbing agent for their exploitation. And that is what they're doing because people are so panicked and numb that then they come in there and then they try to overwhelm you with their shock and awe of all of this horrific stuff that they do,
39:54Ben Meiselas:which is coming from so many directions, it's hard to process. It's why we build this community. It's why we build this decentralized network at the Midas Touch Network to push back against it. That's precisely what we're doing. Reminder, we talk about this. WTF America, I saw people saying, is there an e-book? Yes, of course there is an e-book. If you're saying, Ben, why do you keep on talking about the book? It's kind of the life's work of us all that I try to channel. It's dedicated to the community. It's based on the community. If something happens to me, I want this book also to be kind of what we can do.
40:29And it's the roadmap that I hope doesn't just last short term. That would be a failure to me. It needs to be one of these books to me that last generations and longer that we can reflect on this moment and think about how the collective we internationally come together and get out of this chaos, get out of this true anarchy unleashed on us by the Epstein class. Last break of the show, we've got a lot more to discuss. I'll see you on the other side of the break. I'm Ben Mycelos. This is your Breaking News. Thank you to all of our sponsors. They support the show, support our sponsors. I read your comments,
43:57Ben Meiselas:by the way. So right as we were taking the break, I saw someone say, you didn't talk at all about the nukes or the 10 ,000 troops. All you're doing is talking about the book. Okay, that's factually incorrect. The whole first segment was about the 10 ,000 troops that were being sent by the Trump regime with the Teddy Roosevelt aircraft carrier. That's literally what we talked about. And the nuclear threats coming from Putin regarding Kalinograd. Then we showed the foot. The whole 20 minutes was about that. That's how we started off. And now I'm showing after setting that up to begin with how unqualified the Trump regime is right now and how they're destroying the post World War II architecture.
44:38Ben Meiselas:Then the third segment, I'm going to bring it back to domestic politics about what's actually happening here. So I think that it's incorrect to say we haven't hit that. Of course we've hit that. It's the main thing we've been talking about on the show. And it's an important thing that we talk about on the show. Pete Hegseth, on that point, Pete Hegseth was boasting about getting rid of our top generals and admirals. And he says, the number crunchers say we fired 10 % of the generals. Nope, it was 20%. Watch this again. He looks like a Simpsons character here. Here play this clip. Those generals who did not, who clung to the woke department or seem to think civilian control of the military is simply a suggestion.
45:25Well, they no longer work here. You see, the number crunchers say we've fired 10 percent of the generals and admirals across the force. And that number sounds about right. And I know because I directed it that we've also reduced the overall number of general officer slots by an additional 10%. So yes, 20 % reduction across the board. Now the media calls that a purge. I call it accountability and long overdue. And frankly, the bare minimum. As usual, what the media levels as an accusation, I wear as an accomplishment. You see, you can't change a culture with the same people who enabled it. Personnel is policy at every single level.
46:18Yeah, and I want to address this as well, because occasionally I'll see a comment, and I'm not one who goes back to the comments and goes, ah, be very thoughtful about it. But one of the critiques often is, why are you doing a video that's called All Hell Breaks Loose? Isn't that hyperbolic? And to that, I say, it's absolutely not hyperbolic. How would you describe what's happening? And it's not every video called All Hell Breaks Loose. Occasionally, there's one video a day, and it's usually about the escalation of war from Russia's invasion of Ukraine and Ukraine striking back in Russia, where you literally see apocalyptic scenes that visually look like what a hell would look like.
47:02Ben Meiselas:OK, so frankly, if there were stronger words to use, I would try to find the stronger words. I think one of the problems that we have is you go back to the founding of Midas Touch when we would call out the Trump regime as being fascist. We were often told that's hyperbolic. You can't say that. You can't say that they're traitors. You can't use that language. And I would say, well, I'm looking at behavior that shows they're fascists and they're treasonous and they're traitors. We should call out. We should not hide from the fact that Trump is a sex predator. We should call it out. We shouldn't be normalizing this through normal political Democrat, the Republican, independent type of discourse.
47:43To me, that's one of the reasons we get put into this hell. And I think we see as we hit election season, all of the corporate news wants to put this into the horse race.
47:53Ben Meiselas:This personality, that personality, who's up? What do you think about that? Could you believe this person said this? Or what do you think about that person? The villains, the heroes, they create these narratives. And for me, I think to myself, that's how we got into this mess, exalting personalities, attacking personalities, rehabilitating personalities. It's all about, to me, the American people and what we're experiencing, what people throughout the world are experiencing right now. To me, it's about listening and augmenting the voices of us all and actually hearing from people who are suffering as a result of the catastrophic war, people who are paying higher gas prices and diesel prices, who can't afford anything, people whose lives are being crushed.
48:37Ben Meiselas:And it's not just here in the United States. We take an international perspective and scope on it. And that's how we ground our reporting each and every day, not through the horse race. It's interesting. If you've watched this channel, I think, I would really posit this. We're often, I saw someone, I saw, who was it? It was one of these substacks or networks that cover emerging independent media landscape. And they kind of put us as like the growth of, they call it partisan media. And so they put us, you know, as, you know, as on the left, one of the big partisan media kind of growth centers. And then on the other side, they had like Candace Owens and they had like two or three others.
49:26Ben Meiselas:I forget who they were, but they were like making this kind of comparison. And for me, I mean, you've all been watching this episode. This has been on breaking news other than the brother show tonight at eight and which is on eight Eastern five Pacific. This is like the, one of the marquee shows of the network, right? Like I don't think I've said a single thing that's been political the whole entire show. I haven't said, well, the Democrats have done this. I haven't done any of that because to me, I think everything I say applies to Americans. Unless you're a rich Epstein class, oligarch billionaire.
50:02Ben Meiselas:I frankly don't know how, what I'm saying isn't relevant to you because you're being hurt by this Epstein class oligarchy. 99.9 % of Americans are being hurt by this Epstein class oligarchy. That's what I see taking place every damn day. And so I think if we can talk about these issues more in terms of our shared humanity and building out this consciousness that we're part of this broader humanity, I think that's important. That's why I speak to people in Iran. That's why I speak to people in Yemen. That's why I speak to people all across the world. And that's why the international growth of this network is so important because I know that we, the people both here, but more broadly, we'd love to, I don't drink alcohol anymore.
50:46Ben Meiselas:Um, but I know we'd love to have a beer together. I know we'd love to have, if I did, or we'd love to have a coffee or a cup of tea together or break bread together internationally. I know there's so much of just all of us wanting to live decent, good, fulfilling lives with each other. And then you've got these freaking fascists and these genocidal maniacs, the Trumps and the Netanyahu's and the Putin's and all these people in the world who care so much about power in themselves. And they don't just want to see themselves in these entrenched positions of power. They also want to see people suffer.
51:21Ben Meiselas:They also want to see others suffer. And that's what we see in this oligarchy here. I could go on and on and on about that, but I digress. Yeah, they put us in a chart where it was like Midas, Brian Tyler Cohen, and someone else. I love Brian, so I'm okay with that. So us, Brian, and somebody else. And then they put us up against Candace Owens, and they put us against Benny Johnson, and they put us against – I forget who else they put us against. So it was like, what kind of even compare? What are you doing? It's just, I appreciate the recognition that amongst all of those channels, by the way, we had by far the biggest there was.
52:04Ben Meiselas:We were the biggest ever. But setting aside that it was the most subscribers, but it's just fundamentally, I don't, maybe I'm detached from what Al you see. I see this as a shared humanity community. And I think our values and principles align a lot with certain groups and political parties, but we don't just aimlessly augment. Anyway, I could keep going on and on. You get it. Like Ben, just tell us the news. We get it. We get it. We get it. We get it. All right. Trump's sleeping in the Oval Office. Not cool. Weird. Clearly dude cognitively and physically declining. I could show you 50 videos like this.
52:40Ben Meiselas:I'll just show you one, but this is every damn day. It's like they do it on purpose just to show us, you know, that they don't give a shit about us. Here, play this clip. So, Mr. President, thank you again. And everybody here, we're going to get this done. We're going to get this done. This is really exciting. We're going to get it done. This is really exciting. We're going to get it done. What are you going to get done? $54 billion to Alaska. You're going to get it done from South Korea. OK, what does South Korea have to say about it? I got it. It's fake. not real. I got it. South Korea says you made this up.
53:15Ben Meiselas:Got it again. You know, it's just when you hear from former Trump supporters as well, one of the things that has really resonated, I think the Epstein coverup was the real first thing. Just look, if you're going to lie about child sex trafficking, you're going to lie about everything. And I think that was the first kind of pierce of the kind of MAGA cult armor, if you will, where people are like, whoa, you're going to lie about child sex trafficking? Like the hell? Got it. If you're lying about, then it opens up your eye. I mean, I know I think our eyes are open, but then once you start to see in a little bit, then, you know, it quickly expands.
53:53Ben Meiselas:You don't have a low, everything you do, everything you do is a lie to the point where you've got Marjorie Taylor Greene saying, oh, here they go with the caravans again. They're doing the false flag caravan stuff before the election. You've got her saying, yeah, this is what they do. That's the whole apparatus right there is to create these culture wars to try to divide people so that the oligarchs can steal your money and send your kids to war and they could continue to do the things that they're trying to cover up in the Epstein file. What do you think they're trying to do? It's about power and it's about their sickness and wanting to see you suffer also.
54:30Ben Meiselas:What do you think it's all about? Of course, that's what's going on. Contrast Donald Trump, though, to Prime Minister Carney. Prime Minister Carney talking about opening up new pipelines in Canada through Alberta and other areas to basically send the oil, send directly to Asia and not to the U.S. refineries. Listen to what Carney had to say. Here, play this clip. A pipeline to the West Coast is part of our mission to transform our economy, to double our non-U.S. exports over the next decade, to create tens, in fact hundreds of thousands of good jobs, to unlock the full potential of Canada as a global energy superpower and to catalyze tens and tens of billions of dollars of new investment into the Canadian economy.
55:18to make Alberta and Canada more prosperous, more independent, and to do all of this in the right way. Today, 90 % of Alberta's oil goes to the U.S. Pacific Link will materially reduce that dependence by allowing us to export an additional 1 million barrels a day to growing markets in Asia. That means more customers, more choice, higher prices for all Canadian energy producers. and it means greater long-term security of demand.
55:53Ben Meiselas:Oopsies. You didn't think like Canada has a plan. The Trump regime just thinks what? You're going to do things without a reaction, without a response? Yeah, Canada's going to have a plan. And by the way, good luck with the potash from Belarus when we have fertilizer shortages and Canada provides us with the potash. I'm sure our farmers absolutely love that one, idiot brigade over there. And then what do you think Canada's going to do? What do you think their reaction's going to be when you from the Oval Office say Canada's the worst country ever? What do they say? Like every day they go, Canada's the worst country.
56:29Ben Meiselas:Canada screws us over. I don't know. Canada loves its diversity. Canada has a set of principles and values. They're free. They're North. They're elbows up. And they're not going to take this shit. By the way, it's an honor. That's why we stand in solidarity with the people of Canada. Just to be very clear, not mincing words, we stand with you, the people of Canada, over the Trump regime running the United States government. Let me be very clear. We're on your side. We're on your team because we recognize that we have a fascist regime over here that is absolutely disgusting, and they cover up child sex trafficking rings, and they get involved in catastrophic wars and they loot and they steal from us.
57:11And as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said, they are, we are, we have become under the Trump regime, a deeply unserious nation,
57:22Ben Meiselas:deeply unserious, as well as a very dangerous nation, unserious and dangerous. As a threshold, we should be serious. You move up the ladder, we should be competent. You move up the ladder, we should be sophisticated. You move up the ladder, we should have the top smartest people who are really devoting their lives to public service because they've achieved things in their lives where they can give back and they can share this experience at the highest level. Folks, we don't even meet the threshold of serious. We are unserious and we are dangerous under the Trump regime. We don't even meet the floor.
58:05Ben Meiselas:And that is absolutely horrible. Two more things I want to show. One, a furious MAGA caller calling into the Megyn Kelly wrap up show. Let's play this one. Over the last couple of weeks, I've been getting what seems like a handful of callers every single day who are totally disillusioned by someone, in many cases they say they voted for, Donald Trump. Thanks for taking my call. I voted for Donald Trump. And I got to be honest with you and tell you. You know, we didn't get a wall. We didn't get to lock up Hillary. We didn't get to drain the swamp. We didn't get affordable health care. We didn't get to eliminate the national debt with Doge.
58:44Remember, we were looking and they only raised it from 36 trillion to 40 trillion. OK, we didn't get the Epstein files accountability. I think Pam Bondi probably got fired because she released some of them. It wasn't supposed to. We didn't get a Doge check of five grand. We didn't get a$2 ,000 tariff check. Okay. We didn't get lower interest rates. We didn't get nothing but lied to. And like I said, I voted for the guy, but this guy is the big, he should be selling used 67 Cadillac Coupe de Ville's at some used car lot, because all we've gotten is garbage. Iran, Iran, Iran. Okay. The price of oil comes down.
59:25His big buddies are the rich buy price of oil goes up because we bomb them, they sell, sell, sell. The whole thing is a sham. Well, he's selling watch. Could you imagine if Barack Obama was selling watches, sneakers and all kinds of stuff? We'd be going nuts. I'm sorry. I would never vote for this man again. And you know what? Sometimes things got to get worse before they get better. But there is no America first with President Trump. I'm sorry. And you hear that all of the time right now. And I share some of those videos and some of those statements that we get here and that we hear elsewhere on the Midas Touch Network.
1:00:04I want to leave you with this. You have John Yu, MAGA Republican extremist lawyer. He was on state regime media today. And this is what he said about the botched execution of Krista Pike. She was supposed to be executed yesterday in Tennessee. They administered the lethal injection twice, and it didn't work. And so she's in critical condition, at least as of this recording. And they botched the execution. And let me show you what this MAGA Republican extremist lawyer just said on state regime media about it. Let's play it. So actually, the thing here is that Tennessee is trying to use what is considered the most humane method of capital punishment, which is lethal injection.
1:00:54The court has allowed, and Tennessee could use far more, I would think, hurtful methods like firing squad. Firing squad has been permitted. In fact, I think the lawyers here have said, why not use the firing squad? So I think what's going to have to happen is that Tennessee is going to have to go back and try again, perfect these methods or use some other kind of execution method. All right. The governor...
1:01:20Ben Meiselas:The hell are we talking about? How is this what? Firing squad? Perfect the execution method? You all know where I stand. I am absolutely against the death penalty. I am absolutely, and I'll say it very clearly where I stand on issues, okay? You're not going to hear mincing words here. Gaza is a genocide. I am against the death penalty. We have to be very clear and articulate, in my opinion, where we stand across all of these issues in these times. And ultimately, if you disagree with me, I hope you'll at least appreciate that I ain't trying to spin you. And maybe you'll be like, hey, I don't agree with him on this, but I appreciate that I didn't get a bunch of word salad.
1:02:20Ben Meiselas:You'll know where I stand on issues, and I'll try to give you a yes, no. And if I don't know, if I'm ignorant to a fact, I'll say, I don't know. Maybe I need to get more information. Maybe I need to educate myself better on a specific issue. That is what is going on right there. And this idea, and by the way, I can tell you I was a former civil rights lawyer, botched executions happen actually all the time. It's one of the reasons why I view cruel and unusual punishment to encapsulate execution. There's a lot of other reasons that inform my view, but you have these book of Isaiah contorting, thumping MAGA extremists out there with this death cult, cheering and chanting death everywhere.
1:03:18Death everywhere. And that's what we hear from Hegseth. That's what we heard here.
1:03:23Ben Meiselas:And while all of this is going on, while all of this is taking place, what's Donald Trump focused on? His schemes and his scams. Pick in your pocket. The latest crypto. Did you see this today? You see this bizarre photo of him? Jeremy, I think we've got this photo where if you now buy more of the Trump crypto or the meme coin, you get to meet with him coming up in the next few months. Did you see this? Let's try to get that graphic if we can there, Jeremy. I want to show people what this graphic looks like over here. And here it is. News. Trump will host the most exclusive dinner in the world for the top 185 purchasers of the mean crypto.
1:04:16There it is right there. It's like a ridiculous photo of him. Buying$1 million worth of the Trump coin should get you in November 22nd. He's already pocketed$635 million off of this scheme alone. Investors are down$4 billion on Trump crypto. And that's a fraction of the money that he's pillaged and looted since he's gone into the Oval Office. And did you hear also what he's trying to do? He wants to try to put forward anything possible to prevent future presidents from taking down all the gold and his names everywhere.
1:05:02Ben Meiselas:And he knows that future presidents will likely want to tear it down. So he wants to try to enshrine everything he's doing as federal landmarks that can't be adapted or can't be changed or altered or ripped down. And again, let me also be very clear, because I view what I'm saying here as completely nonpartisan also. But I don't think you can be an opposition leader, meaning for the Democratic Party. You are disqualified from being the president of the United States if on day one you don't commit to tearing down everything Donald Trump has done. on day one and it needs to be done publicly. The East Wing needs to be demolished on day one.
1:05:54The Walk of Fame, take a freaking hammer and a broom and I want to see it on live TV. I want it to just be bashed. I want it all falling down on day one. And if he does the arch, I want the arch being destroyed on day one. The ballroom, the ballroom. Yeah. I want to see the ballroom, whatever the hell. I want the ballroom to be demolished on day one. I want whatever Trump does that. And it happens everywhere, literally on the first day. I want it to be on cameras. I want it to be streamed. I don't want it to be, oh, well, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Every debate needs to ask that question right away.
1:06:42Okay? There's deeper issues that need to be fixed, let's be very clear, than that. But those symbols of the downfall need to be removed immediately. Immediately. And then we have to start building back the DOJ and we have to start. And by the way, you know what? You know what also needs to be done? It has to be committed to. The war criminals will be handed over to The Hague immediately. On day one, the international criminal courts, the Hague prosecutions, immediately, immediately, no obfuscation, no blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
1:07:24Ben Meiselas:Voters will be watching. And again, this is just a message for the opposition in general. This isn't even a political message, okay? People will be watching. And if on the debate stage, we are seeing, well, we the people should have an eh button right away. The moment, you know, maybe that shit worked pre-2016 and we're not going back to the status quo. You tell us where you stand on an issue or you get eh right away. And by the way, we can disagree with you. You could disagree with me. you could say, hey, Ben, I think your view about the death penalty, or I think your view about Gaza, or I think your view about the war, or I think about your coverage over here, or I think about this, I disagree with.
1:08:15Ben Meiselas:In fact, Ben, you offend me with that. You offend me. Don't pay. Okay. Well, do you agree with here? Do you agree that you know where I am on these issues? You know what you're watching. I hope you know that I don't just go out saying shit, that I am doing my best to give you my thoughtful views about why I think this stuff. And then we can go from there. It's all good. It's all good. But we have to be clear. Moral clarity is more important than ever right now. And that's what we are going to be focused on right now. Okay? I'm going to plug the book. Why? Because I spent a lot of time writing it and I dedicated it to you, the mightest mighty.
1:08:59And I did talk about on the first segment the things that one commenter claims I didn't. I spent most of the shows talking about it. WTF America, The Way Out of This Hell and Back to Democracy. There is an e-book. There is an audio book that I read the audio with my brothers. It's not AI. It's us. You can hear us read the audio. You know, we spent a lot of time at the studio in between doing these videos to make sure the audio was crisp. You can hit the QR code over here, even though for me on my screen, it shows up here. I'm like a weatherman for you. It shows up over here. Get the audio or the e-book or the hardcover.
1:09:40It's out October 20th, but the pre-orders are really important right now. And I think a lot of people were happy to learn there was an audio component of this, because as soon as I mentioned that, I saw all of a sudden the audio sales gone. People, I think, didn't know that. And there's an e-book. All right. I do the show with my brothers at 8 Eastern, 5 Pacific. I hope you'll tune in for that. Covering the breaking news throughout the day, I did a video with Charlie Angus. I'll drop in a little bit as well, where we talk more about Carney's pipeline plan and why the Trump regime is so terrified of it.
1:10:18They didn't see it coming, so watch that video. Tell people you know about this network.
