In short
The episode criticizes Fox News personalities for praising Donald Trump’s state dinner and meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, arguing Fox’s anti-CCP messaging is contradicted by their celebratory coverage amid U.S. economic hardship.
Guest backgrounds
The transcript names a “Katie Zakaria, political analyst,” but provides no biography details beyond her role as a political analyst. No other guests are clearly identified.
Key claims
Fox hosts call the event “epic” and praise Trump’s strength and the U.S. economy as “booming,” while the episode’s narrator claims this is hypocrisy and “bootlicking” of the CCP. It also cites falling Trump approval (Wall Street Journal poll: 37%, lowest since 1990 for presidents pre-midterms).
Notable examples
Clips attributed to Laura Ingraham and Jesse Watters praising the dinner; mentions of photos/interaction with Xi, plus claims about attending the same hotel as Tim Cook and meeting him.

2:00Ben Meiselas:State regime media, which calls itself Fox News, was panicking on live TV. They realized how devastating it was for Donald Trump to show to the entire world what a CCP and Xi Jinping bootlicker that he really is. Donald Trump rolled out the red carpet for Xi, had our military personnel get down on their knees to roll out that red carpet and wipe off the dirt with their hands before Xi Jinping descended the stairs. And then Donald Trump held a lavish state dinner while the American people are suffering, paying record high diesel and gas prices, while the 30-year fixed mortgage is 7.5 % and rising, while the American people can't afford groceries and had their health care ripped away by the Trump regime and Donald Trump declares a golden age.
2:59Ben Meiselas:Donald Trump held this lavish state dinner in the White House with Xi. He said, how respected you are, Xi, in the United States. And I can't wait till we build the ballroom. You're going to love the ballroom. And guess who else was there at the state dinner? Yup. The Fox propagandists from Jesse Waters to Laura Ingraham to Bret Baier and others, and where they usually start their monologue on their shows, railing against communism and how communists have taken over the Democratic Party and they're coming to get you, was a little bit different yesterday. Instead, they said, it was so damn cool that we went to the party with Trump and the CCP.
3:45Ben Meiselas:I got to take a photo with Xi. It was absolutely epic. And then I was hanging out like in the hotel with Zuckerberg and Cook and some of these other oligarchs. And it was just so amazing, man. Yeah. And she looked at me and he was like, Hey, Jesse. And I was like, Hey, she, and I was like, Hey, can you take a picture of all of us together? I was telling that to Hegs and I'm like, can you take a picture, hold my drink? And Hegs is like, I can't hold your drink. It must be so nice, right? Must be so fun with these decamillionaires and billionaires all hanging out while the American people are getting absolutely screwed right now by this regime and their propagandists.
4:26Ben Meiselas:No wonder the latest Wall Street Journal poll has Donald Trump's approval at 37%. And as the Wall Street Journal says, Donald Trump's approval rating has dropped to 37%, the lowest of any president heading into the midterm elections in the Wall Street Journal poll dating back to 1990. Let me show you what went down on state regime media Fox. You had Laura Ingraham who attended the Xi Jinping dinner. And she says, all right, you all know, like, I don't like the CCP, but I got to be honest, That dinner with Xi, it was epic. It was so cool. We partied. It was amazing. I loved it. We had so much fun.
5:14Ben Meiselas:These people are all frauds. These people are all phony. Don't you realize it? These people hate America and they hate their audience. Watch what Laura Ingraham says for yourself. Here play this clip. And all of you already know how I feel about the CCP, its trade practices, human rights abuses, not to speak of the cover up at the Wuhan lab. So imagine my surprise that I was invited. But it was historic, dramatic, epic. All those adjectives come to mind. So leaders of the two most powerful economies and militaries in the world sitting side by side, listening to Les Mis, Phantom of the Opera, a few brief speeches.
5:56and the songs, Hallelujah and the prayer.
6:00Ben Meiselas:Then Jesse Waters, instead of the usual anti-communist red scare monologue, the Democrats are coming to get you. Dr. Abdul El-Saya, Mom Donnie's coming to get you. Nope, Jesse Waters said, I attended the event with she. It was amazing. We were hanging out. It was such a cool party. I was hanging out with all of the oligarchs. Like it was really amazing, everybody. Watch what Jesse Waters said. You can play it over here. Let's play the clip. Last night, the president showed off some history to Xi, too, by busting out Reagan's fine china for the big state dinner. Scarlet red plates, gold trim, big, fat presidential seal right in the center.
6:42Main course was a sesame-crusted sea bass with braised baby bok choy and roasted garden eggplant. Dessert, a vanilla dish with some sour cherry, ice cream, and Melania's White House honey. That was the best part. There were a lot of mouths to feed. Some of the guests, people you know, Zuckerberg, Tim Cook, Bezos, Elon, Jamie Dimon, Jesse and Emma Waters. Brett and Laura were there too. See if you can see Zuckerberg floating over my shoulder. There he is. And then you had Laura Ingraham say, you know what?
7:16Ben Meiselas:Donald Trump looks so vibrant. He was so animated. He was in charge. He was strong. I loved seeing him next to she folks. What the hell are we watching here? How the hell is this even real life? How the hell does this even have an audience? This is some of the most pathetic crap I've ever seen right there. Bragging that we're hanging with she were partying. They must absolutely hate and despise this country. Laura Ingraham and these gangsters over on state regime media. Here, let's play this clip. Sorry, we have, it's not old men, it's old men who are clearly out of it. You know, you should have seen Trump last night at the state dinner.
7:58I mean, he's, this man was, you know, he was in charge, you know, you know, he, he was running the show last night and enjoying every minute of it.
8:07Ben Meiselas:More from Laura Ingraham here. And she goes, okay, though, I know I'm praising China. I know I'm praising the CCP, which I know I may have sound critical of them before. She goes, but here's the thing. Our economy in the United States, we're booming. This is a golden age. We are getting so damn rich. So you see, this is eight dimensional chess. They need us more than we need them because we're booming right now, she says. Here, play this clip. The truth is, right now, China needs us way more than we need China. Our economy is booming. And then Jesse Waters is like, and Xi, he came up to me and I got a chance to shake his hand.
8:52Ben Meiselas:I shook the hand of Xi Jinping. Watch what he says here. Play this clip. Right. So then we go in there. This is kind of embarrassing. They want to take pictures. And I I turn around, I said, Hegseth, can you hold my drink? Because I don't want to like have a drink and a picture. And he goes, I can't be seen holding a drink. Put the cloud over there. You were like on TV, right?

10:53Ben Meiselas:I've just been going through some of these posts of these freaking phonies like Rachel Campus Duffy Sean Duffy the transportation secretary's wife she's a host on Fox and she'll say things like this the left is reacting in the way they are not because they are Maduro sympathizers they are Maduro they are communists the left is communist and as we wrote on the Midas Touch Network These freaking traitors, these phony losers, they rail against communism. They rail against the CCP on TV all damn day. But the second they get a chance to party with the CCP, they jump on it and they post videos like it's their wedding night.
11:38Ben Meiselas:I can't play the audio here because it's copyrighted music. But Rachel Campus Duffy posted this. I mean, these people, these dirtbags, these gangsters, they're giving us the middle finger. You realize that, right? They hate us, these Fox propagandists, these oligarchs. Rachel Campos Duffy says, I still remember date night in Wisconsin in the early years, Walmart and Dairy Queen. And it's her and Sean Duffy from the Real World Road Rules Challenge, who's the transportation secretary, who's absolutely awful of it, awful at his job. and they're like partying and showing us how amazing this lavish party is.
12:18Ben Meiselas:And it's like, do you realize what the American people are experiencing right now? Do you realize that the American people have to decide very frequently? Are they going to go to the doctor to get chemo treatment? Or are they going to be able to afford food? Do you realize the decisions that Americans have to make because of the Trump regime and the catastrophic war and the trade war against the world and the disastrous budget bill, y 'all call a big, beautiful bill, which has been an utter disaster. Monica Crowley, who used to be a Fox host, who now has this ambassadorship title. You know, she would post things like, communism is the enemy of July 4th, 1776.
12:57Ben Meiselas:President Trump at Mount Rushmore tonight. Look at her posting photos like this. State dinner hosted by President Trump and First Lady Melania for the president of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping. And Madame Pangliano is so beautiful. Look at these pictures. It's in front of the Chinese flag. America first. America first. More from Jesse Waters. He's like, so they wanted to take a picture. And I said, Hegseth, Hegseth, hold my drink. And Hegseth's like, yo, bro, man, I can't hold you drink. People are going to think that I drink. I can't be doing that. Really? I mean, you, Hegseth, are a freaking war criminal who deserves to be tried in the Hague.
13:39Ben Meiselas:and this whole scene that you're describing, do you realize how damn offensive? I don't care what political party you're from. If you're a Democrat, a liberal, an independent, a conservative, a MAGA, like you think this shit is, excuse me, you think this stuff is funny? You think this Fox, you think what I'm showing you right here, the defense secretary partying with Jesse Waters and they're all partying with the CCP and they're saying, and they're laughing in our fricking faces. Here, play this clip. Right. So then we go in there. This is kind of embarrassing. They want to take pictures. And I turn around, I said, Hegseth, can you hold my drink?
14:18Because I don't want to, like, have a drink and a picture. And he goes, I can't be seen holding a drink. Put the crowd over there. You'd be right. Yeah.
14:28Ben Meiselas:Jesse Waters wasn't done telling the story. I stayed at the same hotel as Tim Cook. He said, you know, and we were, I was like, great job. And he was like, great job, Tucker. Okay, here, play this clip. So I stayed at the same hotel as Tim Cook, the guy at Apple. And I walk out of my room and he's walking out and I see him. I'm like, oh, congratulations on all your success. And he shakes me and he goes, you too, Tucker. No, he did not. He's kidding around. And then Laura Ingraham says, though, but look, it's okay that we brag about our party with Xi because really with the exception of the ongoing frustration with Iran and energy costs, if you take away all of the energy costs and the war and how expensive things are and cost of living, if you just ignore that, our policies are working, man.
15:19Ben Meiselas:Trump's policies are working, she says. Here, play this clip. Meanwhile, with the exception of the ongoing frustration with Iran and energy costs, Trump's policies are working. His biggest economic problem, aside again from gas prices is that the economy is actually running too hot. And then she says, she goes, so standing side by side with President Xi and our president, it's so clear that we have the upper hand and we just have to make sure we don't give away needless concessions. Here, play this clip. So standing side by side with President Xi, our president has the upper hand and she knows it.
16:03The only thing that could stop our momentum is giving away needless concessions to China or giving away the Congress to the Democrats.
16:33Ben Meiselas:Let's ask Barack Obama, penis, huh? I mean, what are you guys talking? I mean, there are so many things going on. Does he even know what a woman is? These are like sick. These are some sickos. These are some real freaking sickos. Here, play this clip. Katie Zakaria, political analyst. Katie, great to see you. The person we left off for some reason is Michelle Obama, of course. And we've known that, you know, they can, they have a fun kind of back and forth together. But do you honestly think Barack Obama sat around, as he said, fantasizing about women in charge of government? Really? Absolutely.
17:13And Laura, we have to go back to his entire term. This president, this man has never for us defined what a woman is. And his administration was quite hostile towards biological women. He said he basically undid Title IX. You can go into any bathroom you want, depending on what gender you identify as, and you can play in men and can play in women's sports. So I want to first ask, what is a woman, Barack Obama? And what are you going to, who are you going to put up as a woman? What if it's a man who identifies as a woman, Laura? It's a birthing person for president.
