1:24Ben Meiselas:MAGA Republican leaders have been panicking all day into the evening after Donald Trump's disastrous State of the Union, the worst State of the Union in American history. The American people absolutely hated it. So after that State of the Union concluded, by the way, where so many Democratic senators and members of the House of Representatives attended the People's State of the Union on the Midas Touch Network. Thank you all for watching that instead of whatever that performative fascist mess was in the Capitol building. You had people like Maga Mike Johnson, like actually panicking on air. Like I'm not no hyperbole, like panicking on air.

2:03Ben Meiselas:It's like if we lose the midterms, it's over for Trump. He's done. His presidency is effectively over. Good. Watch what Maga Mike says here play this clip he needs all four years not just to to fix the mess and that's what we need if we lost the midterms heaven forbid if we lost the majority in the house it would be the end of the trump presidency in a real effect so we've got to keep this going and i think we're excited to put our candidates on the field to explain all this to the people then throughout the day you had these mega republican congress members running away from our cameras at the Midas Touch Network.

2:40Ben Meiselas:As you know, we built out our Washington, D.C. Bureau, and you've got all of these MAGA Republicans running away from pretty basic questions like Pablo Manriquez from Midas asked James Comer. James Comer likes to talk. Do you think Tony Gonzalez should resign? You saw the reporting we did on Tony Gonzalez. He's the Texas Congress member, MAGA Republican, who was sexually harassing. He's a predator. He was sexually harassing his staffer. She ended up dying by suicide, purportedly burning herself to death. And then the sexual harassment was being swept under the rug by Gonzalez's office. He said horrific things to her.

3:22Ben Meiselas:And so the text messages have since come to light over the past week. And now take a listen to what James Comer has to say about it all. Play this clip. Mr. Cobra, do you think that Tony Gonzalez should resign? And then Midas Touch Network tried to ask MAGA Republican Senator Mark Wayne Mullen. He sure likes to talk on state regime media. But what, when the Midas Touch Network asks you some serious questions, you don't know how to answer those questions? Here, let's play this clip right here. Real quick, do you think that Tony Gonzalez should resign? Who? Tony Gonzalez. I'm not keeping up with that issue.

3:58Okay.

4:00Ben Meiselas:Then you had Randy Fine. This guy is just a deranged lunatic. He's that Florida Congress member who harasses all those people in Florida. Well, this guy is so utterly deranged. We asked him. This is why we have our D.C. Bureau, though, right, folks? You want us to ask them these types of questions. So watch what Randy Fine says. Play this clip. Congressman Fine, do you think that Tony Gonzalez should resign over the text messages he sent to his Stanford? You know, I'm waiting to see the person who stole$5 million resign. We'll see. I'll answer that question after that person. Who's that? Congressman from Florida stole$5 million.

4:36FEMA money. I want to see that. But nothing on Tony.

4:40Ben Meiselas:Here's another MAGA Republican running away from our cameras as well. Here play this clip. You think that I'm? Me? Yeah, you. No one knows who I am. I do. You shouldn't either. Come on now. Do you think that Tony Gonzalez should resign over this? I can't talk about that. Thank you. Okay. And then finally, you've got MAGA Mike Johnson. This wasn't our camera right here. This is Caitlin Burns was trying to ask him a question. And here is what MAGA Mike Johnson had to say when he was asked about Gonzalez. And he says, I'm not sure Gonzalez should resign. Here, play this clip.

5:25He is denied a lot of the allegations. I told him that he needs to, the allegations are alarming and not contemptible. He needs to address it head on. His constituents ultimately make the decision and we decide that next week. So we covered that. So waiting for the vote. And has the president talked about codifying anything into law? 7:10Ben Meiselas:Now, these MAGAs, these MAGAs are something, aren't they? I want you to take a watch here as you'll see these MAGA Republicans who were at the State of the Union. After Donald Trump's disastrous speech was over, you had people like Troy Nels, 57-year-old man, begging Donald Trump to sign his Trump-themed tie. So the MAGA Republicans who were attending the ridiculous State of the Union, most of them were wearing Donald Trump ties. They were wearing Trump's face on their ties, and then they wanted Donald Trump to initial their ties. Okay? Weird as cult ever. Here, play this clip.

8:14amazing.

8:14Ben Meiselas:Here's an extended cut. Thanks to Aaron Rupert for getting us this. Here's an extended cut of dozens of Republicans glazing Trump after that disastrous State of the Union because it's a cult, y 'all. Here, play this clip.

8:54Ben Meiselas:By the way, Donald Trump did not look good during the State of the Union. He was deteriorating before our eyes. Take a look at what his hand looked like. Take a look at what he looked like here. You had Health Secretary, RFK Jr. Here's what he had to say about the speech. Play this clip. I mean, I think he did a really great job in laying out a very, very compelling case for the strongest year that maybe any presidents have, maybe in history, at least since Franklin Roosevelt's first hundred days. Jim Jordan said it was the single greatest speech he's ever saw in his entire life. I mean, these are the most they're just the most pathetic human beings imaginable.

9:34Ben Meiselas:Yeah. The greatest speech you've ever seen, Jim Jordan. I mean, what world do these people live in? It was quite literally the worst thing ever, period. Full stop, exclamation point. Watch what Jim Jordan has to say. Here, play this clip. Yeah, I thought it was the best. I mean, Mark, you'll remember the second best one was another one President Trump gave. I think I've been to 19 of these now. But you remember when he gave, when the first lady gave Rush the Congressional Medal of Freedom. You remember when they did that? that was a special night. And Rush was, and you and I were sitting there together and Rush was, when he got that, it was just so powerful.

10:12Well, tonight that happened, I think like five times, maybe more. It seemed like there was Congressional Medals of Honor. There was the Purple Heart. There was the Olympic hockey team. I mean, and all the other people around the country that he recognized, I just thought it just, again, it's the greatest nation ever. We all understand it. And frankly, you didn't even have to say it much in the room or in the chamber, you just felt it. You felt it when the hockey team came in. You felt it when Melania put that around that guy who was in the dogfights in the World War II and in the Korean War. I mean, it's like you just felt it all throughout the chamber.

10:48So special night tonight. I would say this is the best one that I've been a part of.

10:52Ben Meiselas:I mean, look, Donald Trump was like clutching the lectern for dear life. Here, I'll show you this clip right here. The daunting and dangerous continent. We carved paths through an unforgiving wilderness, settled a boundless frontier and tamed the beautiful but very, very dangerous Wild West. More from that disastrous speech that Donald Trump gave right here. Let's play it. Our country is winning again. In fact, we're winning so much that we really don't know what to do about it. people are asking me please please please mr president we're winning too much we can't take it anymore we're not used to winning in our country until you came along we're just always losing but now we're winning too much and i say no no no you're going to win again you're going to win big you're going to win bigger than ever and to prove that point to prove that point Here with us tonight is a group of winners who just made the entire nation proud.

11:58The men's gold medal Olympic hockey team. Come on in.

12:05Ben Meiselas:Well, you know, there you have it, folks. Let me know what you think about all this total mess. That's the MAGA Republicans for y 'all. Anyway, hit subscribe.
