In short

The hosts attack Donald Trump’s White House actions and messaging, centering on a White House children’s sports initiative announced with NFL star Lawrence Taylor, and they argue Trump is also gaslighting the public about inflation while planning a $200 million “gold ballroom” renovation that they say violates the emoluments clause.

Guests (hosts mentioned)

Brett and Jordy (co-hosts). Ben and Jordy are referenced as the main on-air hosts. A guest is also referenced: Michael Wolff, described as Trump biographer and a journalist who spoke with Epstein and reviewed documents for an Epstein-related account.

Guest backgrounds

Michael Wolff is portrayed as a biographer/journalist with access to Epstein-related materials and connections to Trump/Murdoch-era biography work.

Key claims

Trump placed a registered sex offender, Lawrence Taylor, at the White House to lead a kids sports program that the hosts say targets NIL payments. They claim Trump previously said Epstein “stole” young women from Mar-a-Lago and that this implies cover-up. They argue inflation data is being manipulated (missing CPI components) and that inflation is rising despite official denials. They claim the White House ballroom is a norm-breaking, potentially unconstitutional, donor-influenced vanity project.

Notable examples

Lawrence Taylor’s “I don’t know why I’m even here” remarks; Trump’s “Epstein stole my girls”/Mar-a-Lago spa comments; references to Virginia Giuffre; inflation figures (June CPI 2.6%, core PCE 2.8%); examples of tariff impacts (Ford losses tied to tariffs); the $200 million ballroom and “brought to you by” billionaire optics.

1:15MeidasTouch:Donald Trump wrapped up a disastrous press conference this afternoon. It was apparently to launch some athletic program for kids. Donald Trump brought a registered sex offender, Lawrence Taylor, to basically be the leader of this initiative. He brought a registered sex offender to be the leader of a sports initiative for children. And Lawrence Taylor, when he was giving a speech, goes, I'm not really sure why I'm even here, but I am proud to be called to serve. This as the other day, Donald Trump said that the reason that he had a falling out with Jeffrey Epstein was because Epstein stole girls from Mar-a-Lago's spa.

1:54MeidasTouch:Donald Trump was asked, you mean underage girls like the ones Epstein eventually sex trafficked like Virginia Giuffre? Oh, I think it might be her. Yeah, he stole my girls. He stole like their property. And then you have Lawrence Taylor there at the White House. And then earlier, Donald Trump announced that he was doing a$200 million ballroom. Meanwhile, inflation is surging. It is red hot. The data we have out this morning shows the economy is facing major problems. And also, there's major questions around the inflation data to begin with, right? The CPI, the Consumer Price Index, which takes all of the data to determine if there's inflation.

2:35MeidasTouch:Almost two-thirds or more of the data is missing at this point. Why? Because Doge fired all of the data people and aggregators and Donald Trump doesn't want them in the government. So now we're dealing with inflation estimates from the Trump regime. You believe those inflation estimates from the Trump regime? And also, while we're on the topic of Doge, what an utter failure. I mean, the most recent data from today shows that there was far more government spending this year than there was at this time last year. But let's just get into it. I mean, at this disastrous press conference, this afternoon about this child athletic initiative, Brett and Jordy.

3:13MeidasTouch:Donald Trump was doing like this, like uncontrollable spasming thing. And we know he's got these, you know, these issues with the ankle swollen and he's got the issues with the discoloration on his hands. For those listening on audio, I'm showing B-roll right now of just Donald Trump continuing to not be able to control his body. Why don't I just play it for us so you can see it in real time with the sound quickly. Let's just play it. Let's just play it one more time, but with the sound.

3:45MeidasTouch:Now look, medical YouTubers, that's usually not a sign of good things right there. But now you had Lawrence Taylor, again, someone who pled guilty. He's on the registered sex offender list. Like I'm showing our audio listeners, you can't see it, but I'm showing this for American Bridge, 21st century. I'm showing his rap sheet. Today, Donald Trump launched a program for kids at the White House alongside disgraced footballer Lawrence Taylor, a registered sex offender who raped a 16-year-old girl. He's not even hiding the fact that he's okay hanging out with sexual predators that target underage girls.

4:24MeidasTouch:How is what I just said not leading every freaking newscast in the country right now? And how is this not page one news? I guess that's why the Midas Touch was the number one YouTube podcast this past week. Because how do you ignore facts like that? What the hell is happening? And then Lawrence Taylor speaks and Lawrence Taylor doesn't even know why he's there. He's like, I'm not really sure why I'm here, but I'm happy to do what you want me to do. Why are you there? Here, play this clip. Oh, no, don't start. I'm just proud to be on this. on this team. I don't know why. I don't know what we're supposed to be doing, but I'm here to serve and I'm here to serve you.

5:10Okay. So I'm going to do the best I can for as long as I can. Thank you very much.

5:16MeidasTouch:Nobody like him. Nobody like him. Why do we have a registered sex offender at the white house? Who's now leading the underage sports initiative from the White House. And by the way, do you know what part of that initiative is, Brett Geordi and Midas Mighty? It is to remove the NIL payments to college and high school students. So one of the things that Trump, it's been a hard fought battle to get NIL name, image, and likeness payments and to get colleges to pay student athletes. That's been a battle. The Supreme court in 2021, in a case called Alston, found that the NCAA absent exemptions or anything basically functions as a cartel that uses amateurism to not allow college players to get paid.

6:06MeidasTouch:And so after that ruling, college players have gotten paid essentially because NCAA doesn't want to get the criminal penalties for being a criminal cartel. Which schools do you think, this upsets. Well, schools now like Alabama and Arkansas and Texas, well, now they have to pay athletes a ton of money. They don't want to pay their athletes money because they want the money to go to the stadiums and go to the school and things like that. So Trump's doing the solid to the SEC schools by trying to stop name, image, and likeness payments and to stop college payments. So that's the initiative Lawrence Taylor that Donald Trump is trying to push through.

6:50MeidasTouch:He did an executive order on. I teach sports law at USC. So it's an issue that's near and dear to my heart as well. And anyway, so let's start with that, Brett and Jordy. There's a lot to break down right there. There's a whole lot to unpack. It's great to be here, Ben and Jordy and everybody out there listening and watching the podcast. Also, I got to say just right off the bat, thank you so much. Ben did mention that we were the top podcast on YouTube, topping Joe Rogan, Kill Tony and all the shows on YouTube. Here's Newsweek writing about it. The Midas Touch podcast has risen to the top of YouTube's rankings.

7:22That's all thanks to you. Let's keep it going. Keep sharing the show. It's all word of mouth. Remember to add the Midas Touch podcast as well on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. everybody, you could always count on Donald Trump to do whatever is the most predatory option. I think if you have a choice between, is Donald Trump going to do X or Y or Z, figure out which is the most predatory of the three, you have like a 99.9999999 % chance that that is what Trump is going to pursue. And how could that be any more exemplified than Trump having an actual sex offender next to him here in the White House, speaking about this very program that Ben just explained, especially a program regarding kids.

8:04And this was one of those issues. This isn't the first time that Trump has brought Lawrence Taylor around. Or if you remember during the campaign, he was highlighting Lawrence Taylor at his rallies. And we were like freaking out then being like, how is nobody the same thing Ben was just saying about current day? How is this not the front page news everywhere that this is what Trump is doing today with kids, especially in the midst of the Epstein scandal that is still looming large over Trump's entire presidency. How is this not a front page story? Excuse me. If they are not going to cover it, though, you better be sure that we are going to be covering it here.

8:42We're going to continue to expose all of this every single day, making the connections so that you could just see for yourself what is going on, not with spin, but just look, this is what it's a registered sex are you okay with that the american people are you okay with that oh my god we got a lot to talk about jordy what's the latest what's going on everybody excited to get into the show tonight i just want to add this real quick brett i mean one lawrence taylor just legitimately confused as to why he's there it's like no one even told him why like when he's asking why he's there he genuinely feels like he has no he just like a pure boof on stage that day and i just want to putting lawrence taylor in charge of a children's sports initiative it's like putting jeffrey Dahmer in the head of a homicide unit.

9:24What are we doing here, Ben?

9:27MeidasTouch:Well, you know, they were like earlier in the day when Caroline Levitt gave her disastrous press conference to announce the new ballroom that was going to being built, which I'll talk about in a moment. I think it's a violation of the emoluments clause. She goes, we're going to have some really famous superstar athletes here this afternoon. We are really excited. You brought in a registered sex offender. Okay. And Lawrence Taylor is not, is not in demand. Okay. Nobody's asking for Lawrence Taylor to do anything right now, I guess, other than Donald Trump. Well, where's, uh, where's the guy? Where's Lawrence Taylor?

10:03MeidasTouch:Let's bring him back. Let's put him in charge of this initiative. I mean, do you remember, I mean, I'm sure we all remember when the MAGA Republicans made a big deal because a small amount of cocaine was found in the visitor's cubby locker room area where millions of people pass through in the White House to visit. And they're like, it must be Hunter Biden. Like they wanted to spread. Oh my God. In the visitor center, the tourist area, there was a small amount of cocaine. And they're like, this, this is the biggest scandal in the world. Really? That's the biggest scandal in the world. How about that?

10:34MeidasTouch:You just brought in a registered sex offender to run a program for children in sports. I bet you under the laws, he can't be around children. I mean, being a registered sex offender. I think that his sentence, in my opinion, I'll have to go look into it, but I can't see how it's otherwise because that's why you're on a registered sex offender list. I don't think he's allowed to even be involved in an organization that supervises children. I mean, just think about this if this wasn't the White House. Think about it if this was your school, okay? And you were sick about this. I mean, you're sending your children to a school and the principal brings in a registered sex offender to be the kids, to be the gym teacher.

11:19MeidasTouch:You would, you would of course say, well, the principal needs to be fired and probably criminally prosecuted. It's not a political thing, right? It's just the thing thing. Why if the president of the United States is out there doing the same thing in the white house, doesn't that make it worse? And as I always say, This is not a blue state, red state, independent Democrat, Republican. This is just a good versus evil issue with a lot of this stuff. This is a facts and science versus a dangerous stupidity issue. That's what a lot of this stuff comes down to. And this stuff about giving Ghislaine Maxwell a someone who was convicted of sex trafficking, someone who's serving 20 plus years, queen for a day status, giving her this immunity but with the DOJ and treating her like she's like a diplomat or someone special while ignoring the victims.

12:15MeidasTouch:Like, again, that's not a row, the Republicans versus the Democrats. And what do the independents think? Dude, this is just no, this is no, what are you doing? This is a good versus evil issue. And then Donald Trump today in the white house with the registered sex offender next to him, who he appoints to run this program for kids. Trump has asked more questions about what he said on the plane the day before about in 2000, because that's when it happened. He says Epstein would steal girls from his spa. Just think about that. In 2000, Trump has said, this is out of Trump's mouth, Epstein would steal the girls.

12:55MeidasTouch:The underage girls? Yes. Virginia Giuffre? Yes. The one who was sex trafficked by Epstein? Well, I don't really know about all of that, but my property in general, he would take my help. That's how Donald took my help. He stole my workers from the spa, the best spa in America. Some would say, dude, you're describing sex trafficking. And by the way, you go back, watch all the Midas touch videos. When I would say, I would say, hello, everybody. I would say Mar-a-Lago was the site of the sex trafficking. I go, now, Trump can say, I didn't know it was happening, and we can have that argument, but you can't dispute that his property was the site of sex trafficking.

13:42MeidasTouch:Underage girl, homeless, gets job at his spa, and Donald Trump's words, stolen by Epstein, and then she gets sex trafficked. Then she gets sex trafficked. That's what happened. Here's what Donald Trump was asked next to a sex register, someone, a sex offender for underage girls, Lawrence Taylor next to him. This is what Trump says at the White House today. The family of Virginia Giuffre released a statement overnight in response to some of the comments that he made this week. You said that Jeffrey Epstein stole people from Mar-a-Lago. At the time, did you know why he was taking those young women, including Virginia Giuffre?

14:14No, I didn't know. I mean, I would I would figure it was ABC fake news that would ask that question. One of the worst. But no, I don't know really why. But I said, if he's taking anybody from Mar-a-Lago, he's hiring or whatever he's doing. I didn't like it. And we threw him out. We said, we don't want him, you know, at the place. This is a story that's been known for many years, as you know. But it's, I didn't like it that he was doing that.

14:41MeidasTouch:Yeah, please. Okay, well, what's the fake news? Because this is literally what you said the day before on Air Force One. This is your words here playing this clip. Mr. President, Epstein has a certain reputation, obviously. Just curious, were some of the workers that were taken from you, were some of them young women? Were some of them? Were some of them young women? Well, I don't want to say, but everyone knows the people that were taken. And it was the concept of taking people that work for me is bad. But that story's been pretty well out there. And the answer is yes, they were. Yes, they were.

15:19Yeah. What did they do? In the spa. In the spa. Yeah. People that work in the spa. I have a great spa. One of the best spas in the world at Mar-a-Lago. And people were taken out of the spa. Hired by him. In other words, gone. And other people would come and complain, this guy is taking people from the spa. I didn't know that. And then when I heard about it, I told him, I said, listen, we don't want you taking our people, whether it was spa or not spa. I don't want him taking people. And he was fine. And then not too long after that, he did it again. And I said, out of here. Mr. President, did one of those stolen, you know, persons that include Virginia, I don't know.

16:05I think she worked at the spot. I think so. I think that was one of the people. He stole her. And by the way, she had no complaints about us, as you know, None whatsoever.

16:18MeidasTouch:Well, her family now is learning based on your confirmation that she was trafficked out of the spa. That's something that her litigation was focused on. So when you say they have no complaints, she's dead now. She died by suicide. she was passed around during a sex trafficking ring by Epstein to wealthy men who you're covering up for right now. And her family has actually spoken up right now. The victims of Epstein's lawyers have spoken up and they said they want the files to be released. By the way, did you all notice too who else was behind him right there? Did you see Triple H, the wrestler, was behind him there.

17:06MeidasTouch:So Triple H was the chief content officer at the WWE when Vince McMahon was involved in all of the sex trafficking scandals regarding the WWE. So Triple H worked at the WWE and you know at the executive level what McMahon was ultimately accused of and what McMahon's wife was accused of. So that's who Donald Trump brought into the White House today and stolen like she was property, like she was property. A stunning confession, honestly, from Donald Trump. Shocking. I know I shouldn't be shocked anymore. But when I heard that, I was viscerally appalled, disgusted, every word that you could possibly think of.

17:53And you're right, Ben, the word stolen means that he viewed Virginia Giuffre as property. And he also alluded to multiple other girls who Jeffrey Epstein, quote unquote, stole. I immediately saw a shift of the MAGA narrative. Then, you know, I think one of the most depressing things, I guess, could be the word about this kind of time period that we live in right now is we are learning just how much people are willing to, how far people are willing to go to defend the most reprehensible behavior imaginable, even if that behavior is their like main thing that they pretend like they care about. So this issue of sex trafficking, what Donald Trump was possibly doing with Jeffrey Epstein, the actions of Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, you see now these MAGA influencers, you know, a lot of the MAGA supporters still very upset about this Epstein issue.

18:43The influencers who are kind of more paid by the MAGA people who get phone calls from Donald Trump to say, hey, I need you to help me out with X, Y, and Z. Those people are defending Trump at all costs. And so when they saw this clip that we just showed of you of Trump on the plane originally saying that Epstein stole Virginia Giuffre, I saw immediately they go, oh, this is proof that Donald Trump actually kicked Jeffrey Epstein out, ended his friendship because Jeffrey Epstein was sex trafficking young girls out of his spa. Donald Trump's a whistleblower, y 'all. Donald Trump blew the whistle he knew right away.

19:22No, no, no, no, no, no, no. because if you listen to what Donald Trump says there, he says that it happened again after that, which means, so he was okay, I guess, with at least sex trafficking one young girl. That's your argument. And then we could go further with that because we know that Donald Trump and Epstein remained friends for years and years and years after this incident. This incident that occurred, occurred in the year 2000. Donald Trump in 2002 in that New York Magazine article, That's the infamous quote where he said Jeffrey Epstein is a friend. He's a terrific guy. He likes beautiful women and they are on the younger side.

20:01That Donald Trump quote was a full two years after this incident that Donald Trump is clearly still riled up about apparently that he's been asked about about his underage spa towel girl. Two years after that, Donald Trump still calling Epstein a terrific guy, noting that he likes girls on the younger side. And if you watch some of our other reporting recently where we featured author Michael Wolff, Trump's biographer, who is going to be Epstein's biographer, who spoke with Epstein, who's talked with Epstein's brother, he also reveals that there's far more to the quote unquote Epstein-Trump breakup than Trump is leading on here and that any of us had even known.

20:40This goes incredibly deep. That is possibly the single most incriminating thing that I have ever heard Donald Trump say. And he is certainly not beating the allegations as he stands there with registered sex offenders right by his side. Exactly. And for me too, it's the dehumanization of these victims, which is the most appalling thing to me right now is seeing how Donald Trump is talking about these folks, is stolen as if there's some sort of commodity. Like that's how he's viewing these real life people who these horrible, horrible things happen to. Or he'll go in front of the camera, he'll call it the Epstein hoax, everybody.

21:20The Epstein hoax. I mean, these words, they're choices. The words that he's using are very intentional and it shows you how much little respect he's giving to the people and the victims of the entire Epstein situation. It should be appalling to everybody regardless of your personal politics.

21:42MeidasTouch:And you'll have to watch that interview I did with Michael Wolff because it was wild. Then Michael Wolff, again, spoke to Epstein for many, many days, for many, many hours, was given documents and reviewed a lot because Epstein wanted Wolff to be his biographer. Wolff is a biographer for Murdoch, for Trump, and he was doing a lot of books about Trump at the time, like the book Siege and others that were bestsellers then. And so Wolff was like, well, let me speak to Epstein anyway, because he was one of Donald Trump's best friends to understand the connections with Trump. Now, one of the things that Epstein told Wolf was that right around 2004, he told Donald Trump that he was about to close on this massive property in Palm Beach for about$36 million.

22:30MeidasTouch:And then Donald Trump swooped in behind Epstein's back in 2004 and bid$45 million cash pretty much right on the property or put together a bid that was bigger than Epstein. And all of a sudden, Epstein lost the bid and Epstein thought he was going to get this house. Two years later or so, Donald Trump turns around and then sells that house, which Trump got for, you know,$40 million. Trump sells it for$95 million to a Russian oligarch named Dmitry Rybolev. And the transaction with Rybolev is out there. Like, you know, like that's demonstrable that that happened. So Trump in two years doubled the money on that property where Epstein was going to buy it for 36 million.

23:21MeidasTouch:So Epstein was wondering to Wolf basically because one of the things that Epstein said he was doing is so he started having like lawyers send letters to Trump like you screwed me and you've just made 40 million dollars off this transaction. and this was my client's transaction, you know, and they were getting potentially into a litigation over this oligarch purchasing in a very suspicious purchase, because how in two years do you buy something for 40 and then sell it for 95? Like that's kind of unheard of. And you don't really make many massive changes to the underlying property. And then one of the things that Epstein always wondered to Wolf, was it eventually Donald Trump who knew about Epstein's background and knew what went down at Mar-a-Lago and what knew it went down and ultimately went to the police and gave an initial tip because Epstein was thinking about suing Trump.

24:16MeidasTouch:No one knows that answer right now. So I want to be clear about that. That's all what Epstein speculated could have happened because the timing of, wait a minute, I threatened litigation against Trump in that period. Then all of a sudden, you know, details came out about me and who could have given that information and what happened. And then how is it massaged behind the scenes with the non-prosecution agreement? It's a it's a wild rabbit hole to go down. But, you know, listen to what Wolf says. Nonetheless, you have Donald Trump in the Oval Office next to a registered sex offender talking about how girls were stolen from his spa and then sex trafficked.

24:56MeidasTouch:And Donald Trump saying he stole my help. So pause there for a second and let that sink in. Because what I want to talk about when we come back. Let me say, I just want to posit this. If Donald Trump was the guy who, as MAGA likes to kind of claim, took down Epstein, he's the guy, he saw it the second he saw something going bad, he rushed to the FBI, he reported him, he said, no, Mr. Epstein, you're not allowed in my club anymore. You know what he would rush to do, in my opinion? Release those Epstein files that shows that Donald Trump is the hero. Why wouldn't he do that? I think that he would love for these Epstein files to come out.

25:38I think the reality is the story goes far deeper than any of us know. And Michael Wolff, that story that we heard is probably just the tip of the iceberg as to what actually happened here.

25:51MeidasTouch:And when we come back, I want to talk about the inflation data, exceeding expectations, how Trump and Caroline Levitt are pretending that there is no inflation. I think they're saying that because they're destroying the data on inflation, the consumer price index data that determines inflation, how they're talking about building this ballroom in the White House that they say is going to happen right away. I want to explain to you why it's a big deal and why it's important that we actually care about that and why a lawsuit needs to be immediately filed to block that ballroom at the White House.

26:26MeidasTouch:It's a violation of the emoluments clause, but I want to dig deeper. I want to talk about what's happening in Ukraine, right? I mean, Putin strikes on Ukraine, intensifying another horrific night last night. At least six dead, a six-year-old kid died, 300 Shahid drones, dozens of ballistic missiles, terrorizing people in Ukraine. And Donald Trump now says, I never really meant I was going to bring peace. I was just being sarcastic about it. I never. Do we have that clip? Before we before I go to break, let me just show you Donald Trump saying, of course, I never meant what I said. It was a J.K.

27:06MeidasTouch:L.O.L. Here play this clip. I'm not understating the complexity of all this, but as a candidate, you said you would have this war settled in 24 hours. Well, I was being a little bit sarcastic when I said that. What I really mean is I'd like to get it settled. What you really meant is that you're a freaking fraud and that you're a liar. And to do that, there were issues of war and peace, poverty and prosperity. And Donald, oh, it's just a joke. I didn't really mean it. And by the way, that's what he's going to say when it turns out that Japan's not going to actually give$550 billion because there's no real deal.

27:46MeidasTouch:European Union's not going to give$750 billion, and South Korea is not going to give$450 billion because it's all a fake. It's all a fraud. And then when he's cornered, he goes, it was all a joke, JK, LOL. All right, we'll talk about that and more when we come back from our first break. 32:44MeidasTouch:You know, I've had a few conversations with higher political people. I'll just leave it at that. Who have asked me if I think this Trump ballroom issue is a big issue that should be confronted. There's a lot to confront, right? I mean, you have Trump's cover up of Epstein. You have Donald Trump's disastrous trade war against the world. You have Donald Trump disappearing human beings, migrants and citizens alike, frankly, throwing people into concentration camps like alligator Alcatraz. Donald Trump implementing Project 2025 and destroying the government, like Donald Trump gutting FEMA and Donald Trump gutting the weather services.

33:21MeidasTouch:You've got Donald Trump attacking the chairman of the Federal Reserve. You've got inflation surging. You have jobless claims, 75 % higher at this time this year than it was last year. Just think about that. That's a Pretty significant stat right there. So do we focus on the ballroom? Is it a big deal? I say you do. I mean, I say you still focus on everything else as well, but building a$200 million gold ballroom wrecking the East wing of the White House without congressional approval is yet another way that Donald Trump is just destroying norms. That house belongs to us, right? Donald Trump is like a dog who likes to piss on everything, right?

34:08MeidasTouch:He pees on things, and that's how he sees himself as like an animal. He loves to mark. Don't mark on my fucking house. Don't mark on my house. You know what I mean? That's the people's house right there. And I think it's a very serious issue that I actually care about a freaking ton because, and to me, it doesn't make it better that it's going, it's coming from donors. To me, that actually makes it worse. Trump says, oh, well, I'm going to contribute to it. I doubt it. Maybe I'll do a very small amount, but I don't want the East wing of the white house to be brought to you by Jeff Bezos or Mark Zuckerberg or some other oligarch.

34:53MeidasTouch:And to me, if you do that, that becomes a violation of the emoluments clause, because now Donald Trump, in my view, is building a monument to himself, Trump Hall, in the people's house, brought to you by whichever billionaires are going to be buying it. If you were to do a construction, and we're showing it for our audio listeners, you see this gaudy gold ballroom right there. It will change the way the White House looks. I don't want to change the way the White House. If you want to throw a big event for world leaders and you think that there's not enough space or as Donald Trump said today, people have to slop around in a tent.

35:33MeidasTouch:Well, we're not like Qatar. We're not Saudi Arabia. We don't have kings and queens and princes and princesses in the United States of America. So you eat in a normal dining room or or you get to eat outside in a tent, or you go to some other place, do it in the Capitol building, or whatever the hell you want to do it. But you think about a place also like a Qatar, which Donald Trump idolizes. I mean, the entire Qatari GDP is like$140 billion, right? The entire GDP of the United Arab Emirates is$440 billion, not trillion, billion dollars. That's not insignificant, but it's not. California, if it was a country, would have a GDP, the fourth largest in the world at about$4.5 trillion.

36:21MeidasTouch:So let's be clear about those numbers here. But I don't want to see, again, the East Wing brought to you by Bezos. That's ridiculous. And to me, you're now building a monument to Trump in the people's house. He's marking, he's peeing on the people's House, as I see it, and brought to you by Bezos. And now those people are basically, in my view, quid pro quo bribing Trump because they want to have their names on the people's house. No, what you should have to do is you should go to Congress, that's the law, and you should authorize a major renovation and let Congress do it. And let's see if that's what the American people want to see right now, with inflation surging, with people losing their jobs, with people struggling to afford a home more like rent.

37:09MeidasTouch:That's the priority. So I absolutely think it is a big deal. And I think you need to message it the way I do, not because it's a good message, but because it's the right thing. I don't want Trump peeing on my house. Yeah. The biggest thing for me too, are just like the kind of optics and the time that he's doing it right now in terms of exactly what you were saying. Americans are struggling right now across the country. They're being told that they need to accept higher prices. They're being told, A, that they should just suck it up and handle inflation. In one breath, in the next breath, they're being told that inflation doesn't exist.

37:47As they go to the grocery store, as they go to any store and see that prices are going higher and higher, as they're getting rid of all these people from the United States government, as they've gutted key programs that people rely upon as they get rid of things like direct file, which was a free service that allowed people to file their taxes so that they didn't have to pay one of these conglomerates to file their taxes. In the midst of doing all of that, to be doing this extension of the White House so that you could throw up your little dictator parties, that's the part that makes me uncomfortable with it.

38:26And of course, the fact that Trump likens himself to these dictators, And you know that he views this as what they do, Ben, in Saudi Arabia and these other countries, as you were saying. So those are the things that bother me the most. And then, like, as you dig into, you know, what's the thing that the Trump administration and these Republicans have been saying over and over and over again, right? We've got to bring down costs, right? We've got to bring down costs. We're fiscal conservatives. We're fiscal hawks. Like, how many times do they have to say that and then do the complete opposite before anybody calls them out on this?

38:57Why are we still accepting this framing? as they spend so recklessly, more recklessly than any Democrats who they accuse of reckless spending. And I'm certainly not saying the Democrats are perfect here by any means, but the Republicans always go way, way, way further with spending when Democrats historically have actually reined in the deficit. And you look at charts like this of Doge and you see that the United States of America is actually spending more now than they did last year. So not only did Doge, Elon Musk, Trump and the entire regime cripple our medical research, cut cost-effective foreign aid programs, get rid of direct file, remove all of these programs.

39:36But they're actually spending more money in the midst of all that. They're spending more, which is just something that I think the American people will look at and go, I cannot accept that. It is just not okay. 1 ,000%. It's why that phrase that people use sometimes, well, I'm fiscally conservative, but socially liberal. It's like, I don't think you know what that means anymore because that's not a thing being, I'm a fiscal conservative. Shut up. No, you're not. You just like voting for Trump. Ben, the gaslighting on inflation is just crazy. It's absolutely insane because if you hear chief propagandist Caroline Levitt speak and Donald Trump speak, they'll act like the issue solved.

40:20It doesn't exist. Meanwhile, people are going to the grocery store. They're going shopping. They see the prices in real life. So something's not matching up between what Trump and Levitt are trying to sell to the American people and what people are actually feeling with their wallets. And then lastly, the ballroom by Bezos is such a perfect analogy here, Ben, because that's exactly what's happening. And it shouldn't surprise anybody. Remember, the Wi-Fi at the White House, the Wi-Fi is brought to you by Elon Musk and Starlink. Yeah. Not enough people are talking about that, if you remember. Who proved that thing, by the way?

40:54That's absolutely insane. And I know it's been lauded by cybersecurity experts as like, hey, this isn't a good thing that's going on here, Ben.

41:04MeidasTouch:Let me show this. This is Caroline Levitt from her press conference earlier in the day, where she says, the same so-called experts who claim tariffs would spike inflation, they're wrong. There's no inflation at all. Here, play this clip. The same so-called experts claimed that President Trump's tariffs would spike inflation and hurt American consumers. But consumer spending growth just accelerated and inflation remains right on track. For the past five straight months, core inflation has come in below market expectation and remains in line with the Fed's 2 % inflation target target. Pause. She reads like a third grader doing a bad book report.

41:42It's actually this that like the cadence is very North Korean style in general. I mean, she'll make Katie McEnany blush the way she's reporting. This is insane.

41:50MeidasTouch:Then you have Donald Trump saying, inflation, I've already taken care of it. Prices are way down. Groceries, everything. It's all so cheap right now. Here's what Donald Trump said in the recent interview he did. It almost feels like an unforced error. You know, if you think inflation, I've already taken care of. Prices are way down for everything. Groceries, everything. Yeah, it isn't. It just isn't. That's just not true. And if you look, Spencer came in and posted this, I think of the Folgers tub of coffee that it used to be$12.99 a month ago. Right now it's$19.72. To me, that markup right there is pretty much the markup that I see across the board when I'm in an actual grocery store.

42:36MeidasTouch:If I show up in a supermarket or a convenience store or whatever, I'm seeing prices look like that. And I'm going, wow, that got much higher. And you look at the inflation report from today, and you had inflation jump to 2.6 % in June, its highest level since February. and core PCE inflation, excluding food and energy, ticked up to 2.8%. And again, I'm not trying to be conspiratorial here, so feel free to push back at me. It feels much higher than that, especially when we know you have an effective tariff rate across the world right now, when you kind of blend all the different tariffs that are out there of about 18%.

43:20MeidasTouch:That's an 18 % national sales tax effectively. We know from companies, Some of them were able to eat while they had inventory already stored in anticipation of this. They could eat some of it themselves. But now we're really seeing like Ford, for example, profits wiped out by tariffs. They reported a net loss of$20 million last quarter compared with$1.8 billion in net income a year ago after being hit by more than$800 million from Trump's tariffs. And some place like Ford, they could have factories in the United States, but they have to still import their parts from Mexico and Canada and elsewhere.

44:03MeidasTouch:So they're the ones getting hit with the tariff. And even though these trade deals are fake when it comes to what another country is investing in the United States, like Japan is supposed to invest$550 billion, according to Trump. Japan says, no, we have no binding agreement, but we'll be okay now with the 15 % tariff. Why? Because it's American companies being taxed and being passed on to the consumers, and Japan knows it's never going to give the$550 billion. Same thing with Europe. Europe's like, I guess we can deal with the 15 % for now. Trump's like, but now you owe us$750 billion that you're going to give us as the signing bonus, the same way Japan and Europe's like, yeah.

44:50Plus, there are these court cases going on right now that could just end all the tariffs entirely. And I also think you'll get a lot of people who will say, but inflation was higher under Biden. Inflation was very high under Biden. And I concede that fact 100%. I think the difference here, though, is, and I know the internet doesn't like nuance. I know a lot of people out there don't like nuance. But you have to remember, how did Donald Trump's term end? Why was inflation so low when his first term finished? Because there was a global pandemic and the world was shut down. That's why oil was like a negative per barrel.

45:28That's why everything was so low, because the entire world shut down. And why did things spike so high after the pandemic? It wasn't because of Joe Biden. It was because of how screwed up all the global supply chains were hit by the COVID pandemic. And it was by the way that Donald Trump printed money during his administration. And so you had these kind of time bombs that were set up from the Trump administration that went off during the Biden administration. Biden bared the brunt and the political cost of Trump's inflation. Let's bear it. And you know what? I get it. The buck stops with the president.

46:08the buck stops the person in charge, right? So you say, okay, what did President Biden do at that point? Well, I'll tell you what he didn't do. He didn't say that it didn't exist. Like Donald Trump says, President Biden said multiple times, prices are way too high. And that's why we're passing the Inflation Reduction Act. Prices are way too high. And that's why we're doing X, Y, Z, this, that, and the other. He's constantly said that. I think he was penalized for saying that when Donald Trump gets rewarded for just making shit up. Donald Trump just says, oh, there's no inflation. And like, we're supposed to believe him.

46:42We see inflation going up now. And it's not because of a global crisis. Well, I guess it is, but this is a global crisis of Donald Trump's own making. Trump is once again, causing the inflation. It is an unforced inflationary period because of Donald Trump's actions. And so I think those are very different scenarios that we are looking at right now, not to mention the fact that as you go through President Biden's term, as you reach the end of the term, what did you see? You saw inflation going back down to that 2 % mark, which is the mark that is healthy inflation in the economy, the Fed target.

47:20It was going right to there. And then Trump came in with his liquidation day tariffs that he did and reversed the entire trend. It didn't have to be like this. It's all of Donald Trump's making right now. He bears the responsibility. And I think, as I've said in this show before, what happened with Trump in 2020 during that election and that part of his presidency was Trump ran into what I call the reality deficit, which is that his lies can not outrun the truth of what people were actually feeling in their lives. Trump was saying that COVID was a hoax, that it wouldn't hit our shores, that it wasn't that bad.

47:59And people were looking around and they were watching their family members and their friends die. And Trump was saying it was a democratic hoax. Well, now you have Donald Trump once again, lying as he always does, about something that affects people very personally, the cost of living, their ability to put food on the table for their family, their ability to afford housing. And people know when they go out there and go to the stores, that the reality of their unique situations is not lining up with what Trump is saying. And I think when you put those together, you notice that reality deficit. I think that is exactly why we're seeing Trump's approval right now at the lowest ratings of any president at this point in their presidency in history.

48:43Exactly, Brett. And it really just goes to show you the biggest difference between leaders and pretenders. President Biden, leader, buck stops with him. There's inflation. What are we going to do? We're going to pass the Inflation Reduction Act. We're going to try and mitigate what people are feeling. What we're not going to do, Donald Trump, is pretend that inflation just doesn't exist. The same exact way you pretended COVID doesn't exist. The same way it's impacting real people, real families, real Americans. Americans, by the way, who voted for you, Donald Trump, you pretender. He's the biggest pretender.

49:17And that's why it's so important to have adults in the room and a steady hand on the wheel. And what we're seeing with Donald Trump, I mean, could you imagine if Joe Biden answered the question saying inflation, that doesn't exist. They'd call him senile. They'd write all reports. Tapper would write a whole nother chapter of his book. It's absolutely insane what we're seeing from Donald Trump. It shows you the difference in how Democrats and Republicans are graded, right, Jordy? Yes. Yes. And the gaslighting of corporate media on how they treat the two different parties. It's absolutely insane.

49:49MeidasTouch:Here's the, I see on a lot of these shows where they have like the debates where they're not really debates. They're just shouting mass matches, but the rhetorical trick that the magas all try to use when speaking with like the liberal is what do you want to see in the deal? How would you have done the deal better? Let me just tell you how you answer that question. When the mat, well, cause they, cause you know, you have a short period of time. Well, how would you have done the deal different with South Korea? You would have done a better deal with Japan? Yeah, I would have. How would you have done it?

50:18MeidasTouch:Well, I would have started with a deal, like a piece of paper, holding up a piece of paper. And then - That looks like Trump's deals though. What I would put though, wait, wait, wait. What I would put on the piece of paper is terms. So I would have one, two, three, four, five, six. And now it doesn't look like what Trump's deal. When it was blank, it would look like one of his deals. And then I would have signatures because I'd want it to be binding because that's the way contracts work. And I'd want there to be a signatory on behalf of the United States and a signatory, the authorized representative on the counterparty.

50:50MeidasTouch:I call me old fashioned here. But when I think of deals, I think of binding deals that are on pieces of paper that contain terms. The very fact that that issue is not being called out, I've done a deal. Look at my social media posts. Like, look at his other social media posts that he's been making. So in between making posts of himself saying that Obama should be tried for treason and in between posting become the storm is coming like QAnon slogans and saying that he should declare martial law against blue states. he'll post, I've done a deal with South Korea and they're going to give me$450 billion.

51:35MeidasTouch:And then the media is like a bombshell deal. South Korea is doing it. And I'm like, the first thing I see when he posts that, I go, let me just Google. I go, I'm pretty sure the GDP of South Korea is under 2 trillion. Let me Google it. Okay. It's 1.1 trillion. Okay. 450 billions, 24 % of the GDP. So you're telling me South Korea is going to give a signing bonus to the United States without any piece of paper, without their own legislature approving it, to give away 25 % of their GDP and ask for nothing in return? And then major news media in the US writes, what a deal. I'm like, it's not a deal.

52:18MeidasTouch:It's not real. It's all a lie. It's all fake. And then you and then you want to prove me wrong, then show me the freaking piece of paper. Show me the paper. And then I'll say, oh, the United States, Mexico, Canada agreement, that was a real deal. It was over a thousand pages long. The prior trade deal with Japan, that's a real deal. I can see it. So stop gaslighting, stop lying and corporate news, stop writing that he did deals. He's done zero deals in 90 days. Zero. In fact, he's done negative. He's done negative deals. What he's done is worse than a deal. He's done fraud. He's created fraudulent concepts of deals that will end up screwing over American companies.

53:05MeidasTouch:Because if you interpret the ambiguity in favor of whoever, it's always the other country now getting a lower tariff than say four debts. So we'll talk about that and more when we come back. I want to show though what Caroline Levitt said and what Trump said, begging, begging today for a Nobel Peace Prize. Donald Trump has resolved six wars in six months. He deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. We'll talk about that and more. A reminder, become a member of our YouTube page. We don't have outside investors. That's the way to help us grow. So if you can hit subscribe, we'd appreciate it greatly and become a member today.

53:46MeidasTouch:Gift memberships, you'll see the button that says join. So join now. We would love if you could do that. And we'll be right back after our last quick break of the show. How much time, money, and energy have you spent on health, wellness, and beauty products to look and feel younger and healthier? If you're like me? Probably too much. Now I'm so excited to share with you guys C15 from Fatty15, the first emerging essential fatty acid to be discovered in more than 90 years. Now it's an incredible scientific breakthrough to support our long-term health and wellness, and you guessed it, healthy aging.

54:22Fatty15 co-founder, Dr. Stephanie Van Watson, she discovered the benefits of C15 while working with the U.S. Navy to continually improve the health and welfare of aging dolphins. Based on over 100 studies, we now know that C15 strengthens our cells and is a key to healthy aging nutrient, which helps to slow biological aging at the cellular level. 55:50In today's AI and cyber world, scammers are stealing home titles and your equity is the target. Now here's how it works. Criminals forge your signature on one document. They use a fake notary stamp, pay a small fee with your county, and just like that, your home title has been transferred out of your name. Then they take out loans using your equity or even sell your property and you won't even know what's happened. That is until you get a collection or foreclosure notice. So when's the last time you checked your home title? If your answer is never, you need to do something about it right now. That's why I've partnered with Home Title Lock so you can find out today if you're already a victim.

56:28Use my promo code MIDAS at hometitlelock.com and you'll get a free title history report and a free trial of their million dollar triple lock protection. That's 24-7 monitoring of your title, urgent alerts to any changes, and if fraud does happen, they'll spend up to$1 million to fix it. Find out why I trust Home Title Lock. Protect yourself like I did. Go to hometitlelock.com and use promo code MIDAS. That's hometitlelock.com, promo code MIDAS. In business, they say you can have better, cheaper, or faster, but you only get to pick two. What if you could have all three at the same time? That's exactly what Cohere Thompson Reuters and Specialized Bike have since they upgraded to the next generation of cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

57:18OCI is the blazing fast platform for your infrastructure, database, application development, and AI needs, where you can run any workload in a high availability, consistently high performance environment and spend less than you would with other clouds. How is it faster? OCI's block storage gives you more operations per second. Cheaper? OCI costs up to 50 % less for compute, 70 % less for storage, and 80 % less for networking. Better? In test after test, OCI customers report lower latency and higher bandwidth versus other clouds. This is the cloud built for AI and all your biggest workloads. Right now, with zero commitment, try OCI for free.

58:39Benji, where to next?

58:41MeidasTouch:Let's talk about Caroline Levitt saying that Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. She's begging for him to get a Nobel Peace Prize. And she claims that Donald Trump resolved six wars in six months. She goes, Israel and Iran, Serbia and Kosovo. She says, Donald Trump stopped the war between Serbia and Kosovo, Rwanda and Congo, India and Pakistan, Thailand and Cambodia. And am I missing one here? Just play the clip of what of what she says. On the peace front, President Trump helped deliver an immediate and unconditional ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia. The two countries were engaged in a deadly conflict that had displaced more than 300 ,000 people until President Trump stepped in to put an end to it.

59:35The president spoke directly on the phone with the acting prime minister of Thailand and the prime minister of Cambodia to inform both leaders that unless they brought their conflict to an end, there would be no trade discussions or agreements with the United States. Almost immediately afterward, a peace was brokered that will save thousands of lives and allowed for trade negotiations with these countries to resume, and they have. The president has now ended conflicts between Thailand and Cambodia, Israel and Iran, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, India and Pakistan, Serbia and Kosovo, and Egypt and Ethiopia.

1:00:11This means President Trump has brokered, on average, about one peace deal or ceasefire per month during his six months in office. It's well past time that President Trump was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. What? Pause. That's the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen. That's literally like the most embarrassing clip I've ever seen. One, once again, I'm not saying this to be rude, like she can't read. She's reading like in a tone of a third grader that's giving a really bad book report. I know I said that earlier, but also even the tone, it's very North Korean style. Like this is just straight out of something that you'd see from North Korea.

1:00:46This is chief propagandist officer. It is embarrassing. It is beneath the presidency. It's beneath all of us here. She's begging for him to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Like, just stop. That's weird. Our dear leader, Donald Trump, having secured peace in this conference. I shouldn't say. And then on Thursday, Donald Trump rescued a kitten out of a tree. It was maybe too young for it, but there was the movie,

1:01:14MeidasTouch:those movies in like the nineties of like the future fascist worlds. Like I think one was like judge dread with Sylvester Stallone. The other was demolition man with, Oh, who is the actor in demolition man? I forget. And then there was starship troopers like that. And it was like kind of like bad acting, like kind of C-list acting, but the movies had pretty cool special effects for those. And Wesley Snipes. Yeah, Wesley Snipes. And that's how the screen would pop on. It would be a woman like Caroline Levin who would talk just like that. And now that's actually the reality. Donald Trump here on the Midas Touch Podcast.

1:01:50I'm going to make a rule. I think we all need to stick to this rule. It should be the Nobel Committee. If you're listening, I need you to listen to this rule. If somebody asks for a Nobel Peace Prize, instant disqualification. Instantly disqualified. you never can even be considered if in fact if somebody like a bb netanyahu like tries to go on so i've submitted your uh request to be the no they are they're disqualified they get

1:02:16MeidasTouch:anyone who benjamin netanyahu who nominates is immediately you should be rejected right away immediately yeah anything netanyahu puts him in immediate that that's a sign right away that this probably not the person who you want to be considered at all for this and then just the nerve after doing Netanyahu on giving Nobel peace prizes is to make this episode go full circle is like Lawrence Taylor running uh children's sports league okay like not the people who should be your not vouching for vouching for you in those things not it also shows just like the complete way this man's mind has totally and utterly devolved so that obviously comes from Trump hey Carolyn when you get up there tomorrow you know make the pitch for me to win the Nobel peace he says on a social media platform like yeah he does i just want to paint the picture trump's just laying in bed at night i know sorry ugly thought and he's going you know what nobel peace prize i got to remind caroline tomorrow talk about me winning the nobel pre-spot not not thinking about hey how can i solve inflation hey what can we do to help the american people no i need to win the nobel peace prize and we need to make the case for it tomorrow look and the fact I think you're doing this as well after.

1:03:28Just let's take one action that Donald Trump took alone. Strip away everything else and let's focus on what he did with USAID. Donald Trump gutting USAID, Doge, Elon Musk. They are going to be responsible, according to reports, for something around 14 million deaths over the next few years. 14 million. as our spending continues to increase. It was not a big part of our budget. And 14 million people are going to be dead because of what Donald Trump did, and he has the nerve to ask for the Nobel Peace Prize.

1:04:05MeidasTouch:He lists six wars that he had nothing to do with stopping also, just like his fake trade deals. You've had India and Pakistan. There's no trade deal with India right now. So how could you have dangled trade in India to stop the war between India and Pakistan. When in fact, Donald Trump's post was at last night, basically says India is a failed nation and says, I could care. I mean, just think about this. Like one of the things you would try to do, knowing that India is actually developing pretty quickly and their economy is growing. Like, why would you want to push them closer strategically to China and to Russia, right?

1:04:47MeidasTouch:Like you, like, you know, you could be suspicious of their intentions. They're part of the BRICS, Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. But wouldn't you want to try to bring them over to you, especially, you know, where, you know, like in the past, like Apple would want to build manufacturing plants in India. That's actually helpful to American consumers. But Donald Trump's like, Apple, if you build in India, I'm coming after you. So India is pissed about that. But they're super pissed about Donald Trump claiming he was the one who made the peace deal. You had nothing to do with it. Stop saying that.

1:05:21MeidasTouch:And Donald Trump posted last night, pulled it up one more time. He goes, I don't care what India does with Russia. Just stop there. I don't care what India does with Russia. Why wouldn't you care? You should care one way or another. I mean, that should be something you care about. Why? Because you're the president of the United States and India has nuclear weapons and Pakistan has nuclear weapons. So you should care about that relationship. Go on. They can take their dead economies down together for all I care. India's economy isn't dead. We have done very little business with India. That's not true.

1:05:57MeidasTouch:Their tariffs are too high. That might be true. Among the highest in the world. Likewise, Russia and the US do almost no business together. That's true because we've sanctioned them. But you've removed some of those sanctions from the banks and you've allowed a lot of trade to take place. Let's keep it that way. Okay. And tell Medvedev, the failed former president of Russia, who thinks he's still president to watch his words. He's entering very dangerous territory. Why would you even write about Medvedev? Like if he is a failed president, which I agree he is, and he's a bit of a, why even give him the platform to show you're thinking about him and why not actually put the blame word.

1:06:39MeidasTouch:It really is with Putin. But why conflate India in that conversation when it should be relatively easy to do a trade deal with India? That's a win-win for the United States and India. India wanted to do it. Modi was ready to do a normal deal, but Donald Trump wants these fake deals that hurt the sovereignty of the nation. And Modi realizes that if I look weak to Donald Trump, I could start facing opposition here in India when it's issues that hinge upon our sovereignty. So you have Donald Trump doing that. You have Donald Trump making up these fake deals. But the peace that Donald Trump promised was that he would bring peace to Gaza in 24 hours.

1:07:21MeidasTouch:I remember Palestinians for Trump, you all remember? He would go to Michigan and he'd go to all these places and he would make the promise, I will stop the war. Okay, well, you've made it 100 times worse. And in fact, you've said you'll let Bibi, you go, I'll let Bibi do whatever he wants to do. The atrocities happening right now in Gaza are absolutely horrific. And Donald Trump's response is, Bibi can do whatever he wants, let Bibi make a decision. In fact, when Canada recognized the existence of the Palestinian state this past week, Donald Trump's like, well, I guess we can't do trade deals with Canada now because Canada recognizes the existence of a Palestinian state.

1:08:03MeidasTouch:Donald Trump's social media shitposts. That means no trade deal with Canada. Wow. Canada's just announced that it is backing statehood for Palestine. That will make it very hard for us to make a trade deal with them. Oh, Canada, you can't do a deal with this guy. What does that have to even do with the trading relationship? Number one. So you're just going to keep going back using whatever condition that you want to impose and say, oh, well, now that you recognize the existence of the Palestinian state, then that's how I feel. And then Trump raises the tariff on Canada to 35 % from 25 % effective August 1st because Canada stood up for itself and Canada defended its sovereignty.

1:08:43MeidasTouch:So Trump announced today, well, now it's 35%. You can't do a deal with this maniac right here. Now, the other war that Donald Trump promised to solve in 24 hours, I showed you the clip earlier where Donald Trump now says it was a joke. It was an LOL. He was being sarcastic because he said he would end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours. He did not do that. And each night, it seems like it's worse than the next with ballistic missiles and Shahid drones provided by Iran, raiding down on Kiev and Sumy and so many other cities in Ukraine. You know, if you've been noticing, I start the videos in the morning often with the latest attack in Ukraine.

1:09:25MeidasTouch:And I started for a specific reason, because this is real life. This is the real world. Okay. This is war and peace. This is life and death stuff. And you know, this idea that Donald Trump is this troll who can say what he wants. That's BS. That's total. I'm building a ballroom. I'm building a ballroom. Look at my trade deals, a trillion dollars. What didn't Donald Trump say he brought back already, like$17 trillion from the Middle East with countries whose entire GDPs were like$150 billion? Just no. Just call it out forcefully, fearlessly, and say, no, this is not okay. Oh, it's sarcastic. Do you notice, though, when you put the pressure on Donald Trump and he finally runs into the wall on the issue, like we've seen with the Epstein files, like we've seen with, you know, what with his fake promises about ending the war in Ukraine.

1:10:28MeidasTouch:You see what he does? He eventually either goes, it was all a joke. You shouldn't take me seriously. Of course, I was being sarcastic. Or he starts admitting to things and folding to things as the Ponzi scheme runs its course. Let me show you. This is the lawyer for Epstein victims speaking right here. And the lawyer says, this is a big deal what Donald Trump said. This is if the victims have been fighting to find out were the girls sex trafficked for Mar-a-Lago? And Donald Trump now says the little girls were stolen from Mar-a-Lago. Listen to what the lawyer says himself for the victims. Let's play.

1:11:08We know that Virginia worked at the spa and she was one of the ones that Epstein used in his sex trafficking scheme that he traded her to various different high profile individuals around the world. That has never been publicly admitted before. And she had to fight during her litigation because they were claiming that she was lying about all of that. We now know from the words of the president himself that Virginia was right all along and that she was trafficked out of Mar-a-Lago. Yeah, the late Virginia Jew-free.

1:11:42MeidasTouch:And that's who we need to hear from right now. We need to hear from the victims. What do they have to say? And many of them died by suicide as a result of the travesty that they went through. And that's what we want to get to the truth of. We want the truth in general, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Don't tell me there's a trade deal, but there's no paperwork. I don't want Donald Trump building freaking ballrooms at all, but also while inflation is increasing, while we're ruining any relationship with our allies, while he guts the government, while people are being disappeared off the street.

1:12:23MeidasTouch:Talking about ballrooms in the White House, we should be outraged. And there's a reason, too, in the latest Gallup poll, not only is Donald Trump's approval in the 30s, but now more people identify as Democrat than Republicans. Since in 2024, Republicans went down five points in the same poll. Back in 2024, it was 48 percent people identifying as Republican, less people, 43 percent identifying as Democrat. Right now, more people identify as Democrat than Republican, but more than Democrat or Republican, I try to identify as human being who cares about other human beings and who tries to get at the truth, who makes mistakes, tries to admit them when they happen, but who tries tirelessly to get at the truth and to provide people with accurate data, to be empathetic, to treat other human beings with dignity.

1:13:22MeidasTouch:We're all here in this world for a short period of time to try to minimize suffering, to stop suffering, to help where we can. And when I see what MAGA is doing, which has become the Republican Party, when I see what Trump is doing, it's reprehensible. And now they want to cheat and rig the midterms. They want to gerrymander Texas to remove all the Democratic seats so that they can try to cheat in the midterms. It's important that our voices are heard now more than ever. You share the show, you share the facts, you share the truth. This isn't an echo chamber here. We are reaching people. I know for a fact, I see the data that we are reaching people who may otherwise not have voted or people who would otherwise vote for Republicans or MAGA.

1:14:08MeidasTouch:We're building a coalition in the United States and throughout the world of pro-democracy, of empathy, of logic, of love, the facts of common sense. And that's what we're going to keep on doing and continuing to try to do here at the Midas Touch Network. So that's what I got. Brad, anything less from you? Well said, Ben. I think that's a great way to wrap it up. And I think as we look, whether it's things that are happening across the world, like the horrifying images that continue to come out of Gaza, the starvation that we're hearing about out of Gaza, the horrifying stuff Russia is doing to Ukraine, what our own government is also doing with USAID and the results of that, as we reported on in this episode, what's going on with the Epstein victims and Trump's basically his FU to the Epstein victims, what's happened with Trump's own victims over the years.

1:14:55You know, I think whatever the issue is, I think it's just upon all of us to speak out and try to right these wrongs and do our best to at least bring a light. You know, we may not have, you know, billions of dollars. We may not have the weight of government behind us and the ability to do grandiose things like that. But we have microphones and we all have a voice. And so let's try to use that voice. As a reminder, immediately following this, if you're watching live, we're going to do a premiere of this one-hour special. Digging in, Max from UNFTR, who's one of our incredible new contributors.

1:15:29I know all of you who have seen him, love him. He's doing a one-hour expose on Trump's crypto connections, the crypto cabal, the crypto scams. Make sure that you check it out. It is a really good, really well-researched, incredible piece. I'll leave the link to that.

1:15:45MeidasTouch:Oh, Brad, two things I want to mention as well. Adam Mockler is hosting the Move On event on August 3rd on Sunday. I know I think that it's at this point all the – I think it may have been fully booked, but everybody should check it out. won'tbackdowntour.com. Midas Touch is the media sponsor with MoveOn, Senator Chris Murphy, Senator Chris Murphy, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, Congresswoman Ansari, and our very own Adam Mockler will be there. It's a Midas Touch event with MoveOn. Go to won'tbackdowntour.com. And also we're on the road right now. Oh, it's August 3rd. If you want to attend, it's in Phoenix.

1:16:24MeidasTouch:I'm sure all the people in Phoenix spread the word. And then we're on tour with the AFL-CIO bus tour as well, building stronger relationships and reaching out to other unions. And AFL-CIO is highlighting the great work of unions across the country. Let me show you this great moment right here from the AFL-CIO's recent tour. They'll be taking stops soon in Iowa, but they've been basically everywhere on the East Coast. Take a look at this clip right here. This is Jonathan from Local 23. Here he was in North Carolina. Let's play this clip. What's disgusting? Union busting. Hi, I'm Jonathan and I'm affiliated with the Local 23.

1:17:05I'm here working with the union because I feel like it's important. The union fights for contracts and for you to get more money at your job and better treatment. And a lot of people can't afford healthcare. So the union fights for that. The union fights for a lot. The union is for the worker. The union is not for the big business like Wells Fargo. The CEO makes$31 million. That's outrageous. I mean, come on now. Give the people some of that money.

1:17:35MeidasTouch:There you have it, Brett, Jordy. Jordy, you want to take us out? Shout out to the Midas Mighty. The Midas Mighty is standing strong.

1:17:49Against the fascists, we sing our song. We will get it right whenever...
