In short
The episode reacts to a Ukrainian drone strike on a Russian defense factory in Iveshk, claims the U.S. is withholding weapons from Ukraine, and argues Trump is aiding Russia while pursuing cruel immigration policies via “Alligator Alcatraz.” It also criticizes a budget bill (healthcare, SNAP/food stamps, housing/rental assistance cuts), warns of recessionary construction data, and claims the dollar is weakening as reserve-currency status erodes.

I didn't think the pain from the shingles rash would affect simple everyday tasks like bathing, getting dressed, or even walking around. I was wrong. Though not everyone at risk will develop it, 99 % of people over the age of 50 already have the virus that causes shingles, and it could reactivate at any time. I developed it, and the blistering rash lasted for weeks. Don't learn the hard way like I did. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist today. Sponsored by GSK. Do you hear that? That sound, right? 1:45You're a bad guy. You're a bad guy.
1:49Ben Meiselas:That right there was a Ukrainian drone strike on Iveshk, a Russian city 800 miles away from the Ukrainian border that hit a defense factory in Russia, in Iveshk, Russia, that was responsible for making thousands of Shahid drones that would attack innocent Ukrainians and develop other weapons of war to be used against Ukrainians. That's not being covered at all here on the United States media, as we are learning as well that Donald Trump has been cutting off weapons to Ukraine, which he was trying to conceal and hide. As Jennifer Griffin, I think one of the only good reporters on Fox News reported on social media, although I don't think this was reported widely on Fox, if at all on Fox.
2:44Ben Meiselas:She goes, according to a well-placed U.S. military source and sources, the Pentagon has halted weapon systems needed by Ukraine at a crucial moment in its fight with Russia. The weapons which were already on their way to Ukraine and in Poland include missile interceptors and 155 ammunition shells. One official said that there was some concern at the Pentagon about U.S. missile interceptor stockpiles running low, which is an interesting thing if that's what they're saying, because they amused and depleted about 20 percent of their THAAD missiles to support Israel and spent over one billion dollars.
3:26Ben Meiselas:million to basically not destroy the Iranian nuclear sites. We see in Fordow in Iran, for example, as well, excavation taking place. There's a ton of activity at Fordow and all of the communications from top Iranian officials that have been intercepted. They were able to move that uranium. They were surprised that these strikes were actually not as significant as they thought it would be. But the war between Russia and Ukraine, Russia invading Ukraine, is indeed escalating as Donald Trump is trying to deprive Ukraine of weapons. I bring this up at the outset because there's a lot to get distracted and focused on as well.
4:05Ben Meiselas:Donald Trump's visit to alligator Alcatraz on Tuesday, which is a concentration camp that he and Ron DeSantis have built in the Everglades in Florida in the swampland. They're going to put thousands of migrants there. And if they walk in the wrong direction, the migrants will get eaten by crocodiles or killed by pythons. I'm not making this up. Trump said it's his dream come true to have these migrants there who can get eaten by alligators. Over$450 million of our taxpayer dollars are supporting that concentration camp. And Donald Trump and the regime say they want more alligator, perhaps even crocodile concentration camps.
4:46Ben Meiselas:Now, to me, that's something that we need to focus on with the cruelty there. But also, we can't be distracted. What's going on? Donald Trump clearly helping Vladimir Putin out. Remember earlier this week, we reported that Donald Trump lifted the sanctions on major banks in Russia as the MAGA Republicans were saying, like Lindsey Graham, oh, Trump's going to escalate the sanctions. No, he isn't. And we can't lose sight of the disastrous budget bill, which is polling in the 20s, which will kick, we now learn 17 million Americans will be kicked off their healthcare. People will lose their supplemental nutrition assistance programs, their food stamps.
5:24Ben Meiselas:People will lose their housing and rental assistance. It is a total disaster for farmers. Billions will be cut from the Department of Agriculture for education. Billions will be cut as well. There's a lot to keep track of. Don't worry. We're keeping track of it for you here at the Midas Touch Network. Let me share with you again what went down. Let me show you another angle the moment those Ukrainian drones struck Iveshk, an electromechanical plant where they manufactured all of these Russian missiles and Shahed drones. Here, let me show you this angle right here.
6:03Ben Meiselas:And here is another angle that you can see from someone who was taking it from her apartment. Let's play it.
6:16Ben Meiselas:And here you can see people, Russians, the moment the attack on the Russian military plant, you see people running away in Russia. And you got to give Ukraine credit for putting the pressure on. By the way, unlike Russia, Russia's targeting civilians and trying to kill innocent Ukrainians. Ukraine, they are focused on a factory that was producing military weapons. Here, play this clip.
6:53Ben Meiselas:Now, while that was going on, Donald Trump was asked during his visit to Alligator Alcatraz, you know, Russia has about 50 ,000 troops stationed outside of Sumy in Ukraine. What will you do if Russia is off? What will you do if Russia starts its offensive? And watch Donald Trump's statement. Russia has about 50 ,000 troops stationed outside of Sumy in Ukraine. What will you do if Russia authorizes an offensive? We'll see what happens. I'm watching it very closely. Do you hear what he said there? He goes, we'll see what happens. I want to remind you, was it two weeks ago that Donald Trump fled from the G7?
7:34Ben Meiselas:It was very odd. He said he had to leave right away. We know that he spoke to Vladimir Putin the next day. Why? Because Trump said he did. Remember what Trump said? He said Putin wanted to mediate everything that was going on in Iran. This was before the U.S. struck Iran. And I just find it notable that if you look at who benefited from the strikes on Iran, it's Iran because they still have their nuclear material. They could build nuclear weapons. And now they're able to trade more freely with China. Donald Trump encouraged China to buy oil cheap from Iran. Iran can produce a Shahid drones and sell it to Russia.
8:05Ben Meiselas:Russia gets the drones that it wants. Donald Trump removed sanctions from the Russian banks. And now Russia's amassing 50 ,000 troops right by Sumi. So it seems that Russia, I don't, I can't say that Putin mediated, but certainly if he did, he got the benefit. He got everything that he would have wanted out of this. Oh, and Benjamin Netanyahu got a delay of his criminal proceeding. And Netanyahu is going to be visiting, criminal proceeding in Israel, where he was being prosecuted for crimes that he committed there. But give Ukraine credit for keeping the pressure on. And you got to give Zelensky credit, a real war hero, unlike the pathetic loser we have in the United States, Donald Trump.
8:47Ben Meiselas:By the way, as Trump's posting this, no tax on social security. That's not in the budget bill, but go ahead and lie. He's just a fraud, right? His whole life, this idiot's a felon. He's a sexual abuser. He's a fraud. He's found liable for fraud. He's a criminal. He's found 34 felony counts. He's bankrupted multiple businesses. And then he's got his propagandists out there like Benny Johnson wearing alligator Alcatraz hats. Like, dude, what the hell are you doing right now? Meanwhile, you take a look at total construction spending right now in the US. In May, total construction spending contracted at negative 3.7 % year over year, while residential housing contracted by negative 6.5%.
9:38Ben Meiselas:That's another recessionary sign right there. You remember under former President Biden, the type of headlines we would get. Here's one that they posted back on July 21st, 2023. Manufacturing construction spending had grown by nearly 100 % in just two years. Bidenomics is working. Also, a story that's really not being discussed enough. We talk about it a ton here on the Midas Touch Network. At least New York Times is covering it here. The dollar is crashing right now. Why? Because it is losing its status as the reserve currency to the world. Why? Because Trump is not stable. He's attacking the chairman of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell.
10:20Ben Meiselas:He is engaged in an erratic trade war against the world. So people are moving their money outside of the U.S. The dollar is less valuable. That has serious repercussions. It's continued to slide even as Trump has backed down or tacoed from his tariff threats and the U.S. market has recovered from its losses. The dollar is off to its worst start to a year in more than half a century. Why? Because the dollar is unlike Donald Trump's, what Donald Trump is doing with our markets, where he's inflating and deflating and he's rigging the markets. The dollar is not like that. The dollar reflects the stability and the view of America as being a stable economy.
11:02Ben Meiselas:The United States currency has weakened more than 10 % over the past six months when compared with a basket of currencies from the country's major trading partners. The last time the dollar weakened so much at the start of the year was 1973 after the United States made a seismic shift that had ended the linking of the dollar to the price of gold. That is not good news at all, folks. Donald Trump was at Alligator Alcatraz, the concentration camp. Let's call it what it is, folks. And Donald Trump was saying that this is a dream come true. He was thinking about doing crocodiles to kill migrants back in 2018, but he thought that was a joke then.
11:40Ben Meiselas:But now he actually loves that he can actually get this done. Here, play this clip. President, in 2018, you suggested putting alligators in the Rio Grande to prevent crossings in Texas. Is this a dream come true for you, sir. Well, I was thinking about that, I must say. It was meant more as a joke, but the more I thought of it, the more I liked it, if you want to know the truth. And they were seriously, they were actually crocodiles. They were crocodiles from Africa. They are a step beyond. But no, that was really meant as a joke, but a lot of people liked it, and a lot of people think we should do it, frankly.
12:13Ben Meiselas:The Trump influencers are out there They're also talking about alligator Alcatraz, feed the illegals to gators. We need more of this energy. Really, really sick stuff as well right there that Donald Trump is posting right there. Also, as you see Donald Trump's posts and Donald Trump's conduct as well, it's hard to even fathom that this could be happening in the United States, but it absolutely is. Let's take a look right here. Oh, this is the one I wanted to show you, what Nancy Mace is saying. Nancy Mace goes, Dear DHS, we've got a swamp and a dream. Let's talk. South Carolina's gators are ready and they're not big on paperwork.
12:58Ben Meiselas:If I was governor of South Carolina, we'd be bringing alligator Alcatraz to South Carolina. Oh, here's the clip I wanted to show you. Donald Trump in front of cages in the concentration camp where he said, Biden wanted me in here, that son of a bitch. I mean, just think about the language that Trump's using here to play this clip. Hey, Biden wanted me in here. Okay. He wanted me, it didn't work out that way, but he wanted me in here. Trump also talking about how he wants to deport Elon Musk because Elon Musk was critical of the disastrous budget bill. Let me show you that. Let's play it. Are you going to deport Elon Musk?
13:37Are you going to deport Elon Musk? I don't know. I think we'll have to take a look. We might have to put Doge on Elon. You know Doge is? Doge is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon. Wouldn't that be terrible? He gets a lot of subsidies, Peter. But Elon is very upset that the EV mandate is going to be terminated. And you know what? When you look at it, who wants? Not everybody wants an electric car. I don't want an electric car. I want to have maybe gasoline, maybe electric, maybe a hybrid. Maybe someday a hydrogen, if you have a hydrogen car, it has one problem, it blows up, you know?
14:18So I'm going to give that one to Peter. I'm going to let Peter test the head.
14:22Ben Meiselas:Also, Trump making posts about the American flagpole that looks kind of crooked in this as well, that he put in the front of the White House. Also, Kristi Noem yesterday was telling a bizarre story about marshals working with ICE detained a cannibal, and the guy was eating himself. I don't even know what he's talking about here, but play this clip. The other day I was talking to some marshals that have been partnering with ICE. They said that they had detained a cannibal and put him on a plane to take him home. And while they had him in his seat, he started to eat himself. And they had to get him off and get him medical attention.
