4:01Ben Meiselas:This is Donald Trump's worst nightmare. He is losing it. Democrats are saying on day one, we are going to impeach you, Donald Trump. Democrats right now working through a strategy of how they will plan this impeachment against Donald Trump in that there are so many grounds for impeachment. Democrats want to make sure they are organized. We're hearing from Democratic Congresswoman Ramirez saying, we're speaking about how we can get a concrete, coordinated strategy. Democratic Congresswoman Ansari is talking about how when Democrats take control of the House, we will push for impeachment and we will do it in a way that is, quote, overwhelming.

4:44Ben Meiselas:This, as the latest poll from Strength in Numbers and Verisite, shows that over 55 % of the country right now supports impeachment against Donald Trump. Only 37 % of the country oppose impeachment of Donald Trump. In essence, more people support the impeachment of Donald Trump right now than people who supported the impeachment of Richard Nixon when Richard Nixon resigned. Also, Donald Trump less popular among independents right now than Richard Nixon at the time Nixon resigned. Also, Donald Trump less popular with the economy right now than Jimmy Carter, former President Biden, George W. Bush during the Great Recession.

5:32Ben Meiselas:by far worse consumer confidence numbers in the University of Michigan poll on consumer sentiment right now than in the history of the poll. The American people recognize that Donald Trump is a two-bit fraud, a two-bit con artist, and the entire country wants to see him impeached. No wonder cowardly Donald Trump rushed out of the White House yesterday to go to his safe space in Mar-a-Lago for, what, 16 hours? He's supposed to return tonight to the White House Correspondents Dinner. May I add that there's no comedian performing at tonight's dinner. It's supposed to be a propaganda fest for Donald Trump.

6:16Ben Meiselas:It's why we're not going to be airing it on the Midas Touch Network. I have no desire to hoist up state regime media trying to promote Donald Trump, who is the most disapproved of president in American history. Let's not pretend that this is some popular person. He has numbers where if we had a healthy media environment, everybody would be doing what we're doing on the Midas Touch Network, which is to demand Donald Trump's immediate resignation. Get that vile piece of trash. Get that sexual predator. Get that criminal out of the Oval Office right now. He disgusts me. He discussed this country, that grotesque thing, discuss the world, get him the hell out.

7:01Ben Meiselas:He's caused too much damage already. And that's my message today when we're talking about the White House Correspondents Dinner. If I was able to get up there and give that speech, I would look him in the face and I would say those exact words. It should also be noted, though, that protests are already beginning in Washington, D.C., before the White House Correspondents' Dinner. As Aaron Parnas reports, in honor of the White House Correspondents' Weekend, this video message is being projected onto buildings, highlighting Donald Trump's close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. And it's being displayed right where the White House Correspondents' Dinner is going to take place.

7:39Ben Meiselas:Good. Now, the American people are sick and tired of all of Donald Trump's lie after lie after lie. In the lie that he told that the United States envoys, Whitcoff and Kushner, who shouldn't even be envoys. Why are these two people who are representing their own interest, representing the interest of Israel, not representing the interest of the United States, representing their own pecuniary interests? Why would they even be there in the first place? Right. Those people shouldn't be envoys. Regardless, Donald Trump said, Whitcoff and Kushner, they're going to meet with Foreign Minister Aragji of Iran in Islamabad, Pakistan.

8:15Ben Meiselas:That's what's going to happen. No, that's not happening. Foreign Minister Aragji of Iran said, no way are we meeting with these people. All of the Iranian media said, we are not meeting with the United States until the U.S. stops their naval blockade, stops threatening Iran, agrees to the 10-point framework. We have no desire to have any negotiations with the United States. Nonetheless, it was market manipulation Friday, everybody, where Donald Trump does the pump and dump stuff. And so he's like, no, Whitcoff and Kushner are going. And Iran's like, are you like stalkers? We don't want to meet with you.

8:48Ben Meiselas:Like, we're being very clear. We don't want to meet with you. Get the hell away from us. By the way, how embarrassing to the United States of America that you have Donald Trump so thirsty for negotiations and when Iran doesn't even want to meet. and think about the lack of the weakness that projects that Iran's out there saying they don't want to meet. Look, though, we have a video of the meeting. We have a visual on what went down. Guess who's not in the room? Whitcoff and Kushner. Guess who is in the room? Aragji and the Pakistani officials. Exactly what Aragji said was going to happen. He's doing a bilateral meeting with Pakistan, and they released this video to be very clear.

9:29Ben Meiselas:Ain't no one in the United States in the room right now. And meanwhile, you also have the Iranian parliament leader, M.B. Ghalibov, mocking the Trump regime's attempt to prop up the United Arab Emirates, who are facing major economic problems. M.B. Ghalibov says, swaps given to prevent disorderly sale of U.S. assets. Translation, some holders can't sell. In case you don't know, hidden single digit percentage sale cap limits some institutional holders. Door closes if things escalate. Get out while open. Their front line is the yield curve. And Iranian social media is posting the front line of striking America is financial warfare.

10:15Ben Meiselas:Iran is recognizing that while Donald Trump does his whole two weeks, in two weeks I'm going to do this, in two weeks I'm going to do that, don't worry, We've got a plan. Meanwhile, the Strait of Hormuz has been closed since effectively early March. We've done nothing to try to reopen it other than Donald Trump lie about fake deals with Iran every other day. He makes up a new fake deal. And Iran's like, no, that's not happening at all. And what's happening? Oil shock, supply shock just keeps getting worse and worse and worse. That's what's happening. I should also mention, as we were talking about these protests in advance of the White House Correspondents Dinner Tonight, if Donald Trump's even going to show, Democratic members of Congress joined with protesters in Washington, D.C.

11:01Ben Meiselas:to protest against a dinner that Donald Trump had the other night. Donald Trump had dinner with the Ellisons who are now trying to acquire Warner Brothers after they acquired CBS. And so Donald Trump met with them and all of the CBS officials working to turn not just CBS, but all the Warner Brothers properties into state regime media as well. I can go on and on. I mean, you've got Donald Trump out there posting these racist images of Candace Owens. Be clear, I'm no Candace Owens, friends. But the fact that the commander in chief of the United States, the president of the United States, is posting racist photos like this of Candace Owens, which says that she uses rich white men.

11:46Ben Meiselas:This is what Donald Trump's posting. That's why I said this guy in the Oval Office is pure trash, really is just a horrible human being. And fortunately, I did a whole report on this yesterday, but a federal judge in the Southern District of Florida stepped in to basically block Donald Trump's attempt to reach a settlement with the government in a lawsuit that he filed against the government in late January of 2026. Donald Trump filed a lawsuit claiming that there was a data breach to access his IRS tax records back in 2019. So just so you have the timeline, January 2026, Donald Trump alleges that in January of or that he alleges in 2019.

12:33Ben Meiselas:So in 2026, he alleges that in 2019, there was a data breach that accesses tax records such that he is owed$10 billion by the government right now, by the IRS and by the Treasury Department. And so he filed in this lawsuit a request for an extension of time so he can pursue settlement talks with himself in the federal government. And the judge is like, no, this seems like a collusive settlement. This doesn't seem adversarial. I, as a federal judge, am not going to let this proceed. She called Donald Trump's bluff and she says, you got to show up in court and prove to me that this is not some collusive fraud sham lawsuit, which is what it looks like.

13:18Ben Meiselas:So she called Donald Trump's bluff. Fortunately, that's been put on pause, that lawsuit. Donald Trump's going to have to justify it now and this judge is not buying it. But let's talk about what the American people are going through. Back to what this video is based on. Everybody wants Donald Trump impeached on day one right now. just to remind you right here of what Donald Trump campaigned on. We at the Midas Touch Network have aggregated some of these clips. Some of them are aggregated from others. But take a look right here. These are multiple clips of Donald Trump promising on day one he would half the price of electricity within one year, he said, that your electricity bills would be half the amount of money they were in 2024 within one year.

14:00Ben Meiselas:Listen to what he says here. Play this clip. Under the Trump economic plan, we will cut your energy prices in half within market down with. And you can get very angry at me if we don't do it. Within 12 months, your energy prices will be cut in half. My plan will cut energy prices in half or more than that within 12 months of taking office. Number one, your energy bill within 12 months will be cut in half. And that's my pledge all over the country beyond farmers. That's my pledge all over the country. If you vote for me, I will cut your energy and electricity prices in half within 12 months. We're going to cut them down.

14:39Ben Meiselas:And then he promised that he would end the war in Ukraine, Russia's invasion on day one. Play this clip. Before I even arrive at the Oval Office, I will have the disastrous war between Russia and Ukraine settled. It will be settled quickly.

14:57I will get the problem solved and I will get it solved in rapid order and it will take me no longer than one day. I know exactly what to say to each of them. I got along with very well with them. If I'm president, I will have that war settled in one day, 24 hours. How would you settle that war in one day? Because I'll meet with Putin. I'll meet with Zelensky. They both have weaknesses and they both have strengths. and within 24 hours that war will be settled. It'll be over. And I'll get the war with Ukraine and Russia ended. If I'm president-elect, I'll get it done before even becoming president.

15:35Ben Meiselas:And remember what he said on January 20th, 2025, after he was first sworn in in the White House. Remember what he said when he was asked by a reporter, you said you would end the Russia-Ukraine war on your first day in office. This was like right after the first day of office. Remember what he said then, play this clip.

16:03Ben Meiselas:What about Donald Trump saying on day one he would end inflation and slash prices? Remember what he said? Play this clip. We will end inflation and make America affordable again. We're going to get the prices down. We have to get them down too much groceries cars how everything we're going to get the prices down but prices will come down you just watch they'll come down and they'll come down fast not only with insurance with everything tomorrow i will end inflation i will we will cut your taxes end inflation slash your prices well i will end inflation i'll end inflation we all know that he's a liar right i mean i can go on and show you a lot more clips like that but we get him but i will end with Donald Trump's favorite person in the world, Rosie O'Donnell.

I feel like we're in a dystopian nightmare and no one is doing anything about it. I don't understand how he's able to get away with the things he gets away with breaking the law, the emoluments clause, taking bribes, blackmailing people. He's a criminal con man. And if you grew up in New York, as I did. You knew this your whole life. We watched his planes get repossessed off the runway at LaGuardia. We watched him try to sell steaks and cologne and a fake university, steal money from charities that his family can't even have a charity anymore in New York City, in the New York State, because they had stolen money from kids' cancer charities.

17:32There's no way you can look at the facts about this man and believe in him still. You have to have willful blindness.
