In short

The episode argues the Trump administration is escalating the Iran conflict and driving up U.S. fuel prices, while also fabricating energy “deals” and excluding allies from NATO planning. It cites: the USS Theodore Roosevelt carrier strike group departing San Diego for the Middle East; claims of “thousands of Marines” deployed; Trump’s Time Magazine interview saying there’s “no chance of peace” with Iran and calling for “annihilation”; and alleged U.S. pressure on France/Germany to release diesel stocks. It also claims China suspended most fuel exports in October, and that NATO meetings exclude the UK, France, and Baltic states.

We are learning that the Trump regime intends to send a new carrier strike group to the Middle East. It will arrive after the midterm elections. Thousands of Marines are being sent right by Iran, and this may be part of a broader escalation in this catastrophic war as diesel and gas prices continue to surge here in the United States, and the American people absolutely do not support this catastrophic war. Let's talk about the developments this morning and also a Time Magazine interview with Donald Trump was released this morning where he says there's no chance of peace with Iran.

50Ben Meiselas:The only way for there to be peace in the world is total annihilation and obliteration of Iran. He, of course, continues to blame Ukraine for the surging diesel and gas prices, and he just sounds like he is a complete and utter lunatic. We'll talk about what went down in that time magazine article but here's what we're learning the uss theodore roosevelt aircraft carrier has departed at san diego base with its carrier strike group its csg heading to the middle east by the end of november there will be three aircraft carriers and two amphibious groups deployed around iran and so we expect there to be thousands of marines in the area so donald trump's interview with Time Magazine was released this morning.

44Ben Meiselas:Here were some of the questions he was asked so you can just see it for yourself. Question. Last week you said you might annihilate Iran. That was the word you used? Donald Trump's response. Yeah, I would do that. It's possible. Question. You've made versions of that threat before. You've also called yourself the president of peace? Answer, yeah. Question, how can the president of peace be calling for the annihilation of an entire people? Answer, because by annihilating Iran, we've created peace in the world. With Iran, I don't think you could ever have peace. Notice Donald Trump acknowledges that his plan is to annihilate all of the people of Iran, a mass genocide.

33Ben Meiselas:He just said it right there. Also, Donald Trump says that if he was not the president, Saudi Arabia would not be here right now. They'd be wiped off the planet. He said that the only reason Saudi Arabia exists and has not been wiped off the face of the planet is because of him. This was the question. Yes, there were reports after the Houthi attacks that Saudi Arabia wasn't pleased that the U.S. didn't come to its defense. What's your relationship like with the Saudis right now? Answer. Good, good. I've done a lot for Saudi Arabia. I protect Saudi Arabia. If I were in president, Saudi Arabia wouldn't be here right now.

16Ben Meiselas:Neither would Israel. They'd be wiped off the face of the planet. I do a lot for Saudi Arabia. And then he said, did you see the story about my uncle? And then the reporter from Time Magazine says, the one who taught at MIT. And Donald Trump says, I have the highest of IQs. I have the highest. And the question that was asked was, do you trust Sam Altman, right? The head of OpenAI, ChatGPT. Donald Trump's like, I like him. Do I trust him? Who do I trust? I like Sam Altman, smart. Dario's smart. They're all smart. We're dealing with very high level of IQ, very, very high level. That's a good thing.

00Ben Meiselas:I like that. I like it. Did you see the story about my uncle? And then the reporter goes, the one who taught at MIT? Answer, I have the highest of IQs. I have the highest. I'm fine. And I understand that stuff. My uncle was at MIT for 41 years, And you know, I believe in genetics, frankly, and I understand. I mean, folks, we're dealing with an actual lunatic. This isn't me being hyperbolic. Like, we're dealing with a real psychotic lunatic who needs to be in a 51-50 involuntary hold. Like, let's be very clear. This isn't a political message. I'm not saying, oh, the Democrats or the Republicans or the independents.

46Ben Meiselas:Like, we just have to call out what this is. like we have a psycho in the Oval Office, and it's very, very disturbing what's happening here. Time Magazine. So what is the hoax of AI? Who is behind it? The whole country is based on fake stuff because these people have Trump derangement syndrome. Reporter, would you rule out declaring a state of emergency in the lead up to the midterm unless there's widespread violence in the streets? Answer, I don't rule out anything. We'll see. You mean the Insurrection Act? Reporter, yeah. No, I've never used it. I could use it. A lot of people think I should use it sometimes.

25Ben Meiselas:Well, what about Trump on data centers? The reporter says, well, 71 % of Americans oppose building data centers. 57 % say AI or SI as you call it will do more harm than good. Are these Americans wrong? Trump's response, basically, I don't want data centers right next to my house. I want them next to your house. So you know the exact quote. So you know it's word for word. What he says is, I would like to have data centers. It doesn't mean I want them right next to my house, but I certainly like them in my country. And Donald Trump wants to put them in our national parks, on federal lands, and in your backyards, but not outside of Mar-a-Lago.

12Ben Meiselas:He said it right there. Question. You initially said that the Iran war would take about six to eight weeks. We are now entering the seventh month. Can you explain why it's taking so long? Only because I wanted to go further. I took them out. I could have stopped then, but I wanted to go further. Well, the American people can hear it. The world can hear it. So you said the war was done, you wanted to go further, and now the American people are suffering and people throughout the world are suffering as a result of you wanting to go farther? Absolutely heinous, despicable, war criminal, felon, sex predator.

54Ben Meiselas:That is who Donald Trump is. And then he continues to rant and rave like a lunatic. I could go on, but you get it. But folks, I want to focus on events taking place throughout the world. while we have this absolute psychotic lunatic in the Oval Office. Here's what's happening. So China has suspended most fuel exports for all of October as Beijing prioritizes rebuilding its domestic stocks amid disruptions from the Iran war and attacks on Russian refineries. What does that mean? Expect the price of gas and diesel to continue to go up dramatically. Historically, separately, we are learning the Trump regime has told France and Germany, you must release your emergency diesel stocks or risk a U.S.

45Ben Meiselas:diesel export ban throughout the world. In other words, we are going to force upon you to do whatever the American regime says regarding your diesel stocks, or the U.S. will further destroy people's lives and cause the price of diesel to surge, which will also cause the price of gas to surge, which will also impact the price Americans pay and will cause Americans to pay significantly more at the pump than they're already paying. And already, diesel has hit another record high today. Every day, it keeps hitting record highs. You know that if you use diesel. Also, if you fill up your car with gas, you know that there's no relief happening right now.

30Ben Meiselas:As Donald Trump is threatening France and Germany regarding their emergency diesel stocks, we've also learned, per Politico, citing six diplomats familiar with the matter, the Trump regime is excluding the UK, France, and Baltic countries from a NATO meeting on the alliance's future next month in Poland after threatening to deploy what Trump has referred to as his naughty and nice list against governments that he likes and doesn't like based on how nice they are to Donald Trump. If you're on the naughty list, you don't get invited to the NATO summit in Poland. If you are nice to Donald Trump, if he thinks you're his friend, then you get invited.

15Ben Meiselas:absolutely heinous stuff, but it doesn't just stop there. The Trump regime wants to permanently exclude several major NATO allies, including the UK, France, and Baltic states from the Pentagon-led working group on the alliance's future more generally, even beyond the meeting in Poland. The smaller Bergen group, as it's called, includes US, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Germany and the Netherlands. And Pentagon's policy chief, Elbridge Colby, says that this is going to be helpful to determine who's friends and who's naughty. And so this is what the United States is doing. Putin's loving this, by the way.

58Ben Meiselas:Putin gave a speech today where he says, as the shift from Western hegemony is happening, the global situation will change for the better. As I've said, the post-World War II architecture that was led by the United States is collapsing on fast forward. The rest of the world sees it, and Putin sees an opportunity. Xi Jinping sees an opportunity as well. And a new structure is forming multilateral in nature, with the U.S. being much, much weaker. Putin also said this morning, Whatever the scenario that will happen in the future, unfortunately, it's very likely the international conflicts will continue.

41Ben Meiselas:Now, one of the main issues with the Trump regime among all of the issues. This is a big one, folks. Trump lies about literally everything. Every sound, syllable, word, sentence, whatever is an absolute lie. So yesterday, the Trump regime announced South Korea has agreed they will invest$54 billion in Alaska's natural gas pipeline, a massive LNG deal that's going to be so big for the people of Alaska. So every day now, Donald Trump announces a new fake deal in a state where the MAGA Republicans are behind, leading to the midterms, right? The other day, Donald Trump was sleeping for most of the Oval Office meeting about Iowa, where a company that was close to Donald Trump, basically, that was based in Minnesota.

40Ben Meiselas:I mean, in my opinion, this was all a fake Iowa deal that they said they were going to invest$20 billion in Iowa and it's going to be amazing and it's going to happen in the future. Trust me, bro. And remember, I flagged that right away. I was like, really, you're bringing back a Republican Congresswoman Ashley Hinson, who's running in the Senate seat, and she's now trailing Josh Turek over there. Or some polls have it closed. Some polls have her slightly ahead. But I think Josh Turek is doing a great job over there. And then you had other Iowa congressional candidates there. So they announced fake billions of dollars going to Iowa.

15Ben Meiselas:I sincerely believe, and I know we have a lot of viewers and listeners in Iowa, that you all realize that he lies about everything. This is not coming, and he's destroyed the lives of farmers and all people in Iowa in all different ways, ripped away people's health care. So then yesterday, he did it about Alaska. Oh, we're bringing in billions of dollars, and South Korea is going to pay for it. Well, today, South Korea's industry ministry immediately said, no, that's not happening. South Korea says it will begin reviewing the Alaska LNG project, not actually making this investment. Seoul, South Korea, says no decision has been made on whether to invest or on the size of any investment.

02Ben Meiselas:South Korea's industry ministry expressed regret to Commerce Secretary Howard saying the White House announcement went far beyond anything that was discussed. There is no deal, is what the South Korean Ministry of Industry spokesperson said. And I'll just remind you what went down in the Oval Office. This was Howard Lutnick yesterday saying, oh, Donald Trump is so powerful and he's made the greatest deals ever. And this is going to revolutionize what's happening in Alaska. These people are Bernie Madoff on steroids, right? Just think about it. Howard Lutnick, the guy who was like, I've never been to Epstein's Island ever.

45Ben Meiselas:Remember when he gave that interview with the New York Post reporter? And then when he was busted in the Epstein files for being on Epstein Island, he said, well, you've been to the island. What did Lutnick say? yeah, I was there with my kids. I never said I wasn't there with my kids. I said I wasn't there. I brought my little kitties. That makes it way worse that you brought your kitties with you, Howard Lutnick, to the island that is known for child sex trafficking. That is worse. That is way worse. I mean, these people are sick. But watch what Howard Lutnick, the total con, said yesterday. play this clip.

2450, just over$50 billion invested in Alaska for the Alaska LNG project. This is Alaska is the most resource rich state in our union. Right. And this project, $50 billion is going to start to unleash the incredible natural resources of Alaska. It couldn't happen. Everybody talked about it. But it's the combination of your deal making and your trade deal that allowed this to happen. And this is extraordinary. This will change Alaska and it will change geopolitics because all of Southeast Asia is now going to get their gas after the senator uses it and reduces the cost to all Alaskans, right? All of Southeast Asia is going to be leaning on the president and the United States of America for their gas, for their natural resources, changing the way the world looks at America and works with America.

20Ben Meiselas:This was what Donald Trump was saying yesterday about the dough. We're going to do 200 billion. I think everybody, though, in this country realizes that this guy is just the biggest fraud ever. Watch for yourself here. Play this clip. Today, we're thrilled to announce one of the largest energy infrastructure investments in American history, thanks to the agreements my administration has secured with the Republic of Korea. They will invest up to 200 billion dollars, that's the Korean government,$200 billion to build a six gigawatt power generation facility in Texas. That's a major plant. That's about as big as you'll see.

00Eight new large scale nuclear power plants and at long last, Alaska liquefied natural gas pipeline. That's a big one. And that's why we have a lot of people from Alaska.

11Ben Meiselas:Other developments happening internationally on Surala, the Houthis, continue to advance east. In Yemen, they continue to strike in Saudi Arabia as well. Xi Jinping, the president of China, said this morning, we have to deepen exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Strait, firmly combat Taiwan independent separatist forces, oppose interference by external forces, promote the peaceful development of cross-strait relations, and advance the cause of national reunification. The Trump regime is still not providing Taiwan with the$14 billion military package that was promised. So Xi Jinping's trip to the United States did what it needed to while Donald Trump is out there citing Xi Jinping as, Xi Jinping loves that I called AISI.

07Ben Meiselas:Xi Jinping thinks that we are so hot right now. You are an utter loser, Donald Trump. Meanwhile, Benjamin Netanyahu went on state regime media Fox this morning and described the fly Dubai incident as this is Hollywood on steroids. You can't make this up. You can't believe that it actually happens in real life, but this is happening. This is what he said this morning. Here, play this clip. you know, because we all see these films. So to actually be in this thing, this is this is Hollywood on steroids. You can't make this up. You can't believe that it actually happens in real life. But it did. Two other legal developments that we will be covering in more detail, in more depth, as we always do here on the Midas Touch Network, the family of Renee Nicole Good, who was executed by Donald Trump's ICE and Border Patrol Gestapo, filed two lawsuits today, one against the Trump regime generally, the other against individuals in Trump's cabinet like Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem and others.

11Ben Meiselas:They were sued for the execution, the wrongful death of Renee Nicole Good. We'll do, I think, a deeper analysis on the Brother podcast today and on some of our other shows, but I wanted to highlight that. Also, Dave Hearn, the Olympic canoeist who was criminally prosecuted based on fraudulent charges regarding the reflecting pool. The prosecution against him has been officially dismissed with prejudice. We knew it was previously dismissed. The issue was whether would be dismissed without prejudice, meaning the Trump regime could refile, or without prejudice, meaning they could refile, or with prejudice, meaning the Trump regime would not be allowed to refile.

04Ben Meiselas:And the judge said that it would be dismissed with prejudice, meaning the Trump regime can no longer refile the cases forever closed. And the judge said, it's obvious that if you were to refile this or not, or if I just dismissed it without prejudice, you would just use this to hold it over his head and try to harass him. And so the judge said, based on everything we know, based on the filing by Jeanine Pirro on the motion to dismiss, we will dismiss this now with prejudice. And so the court said, see you later. So those are all the developments this morning. We'll keep you posted every step of the way here on the Midas Touch Network, as we always do.
