0:30Ben Meiselas:Donald Trump's 9-11 speech at the Pentagon earlier today went sideways. Well, Donald Trump's face went sideways. He fell asleep during the ceremony. His face was drooping to the side. Just take a look at what he looked like. Then when he gave his speech, he connected 9-11 to the catastrophic and unlawful war in Iran. and he kept on saying basically because of 9-11 this is why we need victory in Iran and we need to escalate the war. It was absolutely horrific. Then Defense Secretary Pete Hegson said we're not going to finish. We're not going to stop until we finish the job in Iran and we are going to continue until Judgment Day.

1:17Ben Meiselas:Let me just show you what went down. First let me just show you this quick video of Donald Trump's sleep. I could show you minutes of it, but I'm just going to show you like 10 seconds or so so you can see for yourself what this looked like. Here, play this clip.

1:39Ben Meiselas:Now, contrast this to how former President Biden looked when he was in New York City today. Then take a look at what Donald Trump actually said during the speech at the Pentagon, where he said, we salute the service members working right now to ensure the world's number one sponsor of terror, the Islamic Republic of Iran, will never have a nuclear weapon. You're connecting your catastrophic war in Iran, and Iran had nothing to do with 9-11. You know who did have something to do with 9-11? Saudi Arabia. And this is what you're saying at the Pentagon ceremony for 9-11? You have to make it about yourself and about warmongering?

2:16Ben Meiselas:It's so sickening to me. Here, play this clip. And we salute the service members working right now to ensure the world's number one sponsor of terror. The Islamic Republic of Iran will never, ever have a nuclear weapon. And then Donald Trump continues and says, we will never, ever forget. That's why we fight today. We don't have a choice. No, this was a war of choice. You literally had a choice. You have a choice not to engage in a catastrophic and unlawful war in Iran where you slaughtered little girls in Manab and Lemaire and you blew up a wedding recently in Syrac County and you've destroyed the global economy.

3:04Ben Meiselas:You've destroyed the U.S. economy. So yes, this was a war of choice. We shouldn't have been involved in and stop linking it to 9-11. Stop it. It's just ridiculous. It's beyond insensitive. It's demeaning. And do you think we're all stupid? Well, I guess after what you were doing at the Republican National Convention where you said, if you vote Republican, I promise you this time, I'm not lying like every other time. I'll give you five thousand dollars if you vote for me anyway. Here he says, we will never forget. That's why we need victory in the war. The hell? We will never, ever forget.

3:42That's why we fight today. We don't have a choice.

3:47Ben Meiselas:There can only be victory. Then Pete Hegseth spoke and he said, we control the strait. We will finish this. Not only do we not control the Strait of Hormuz, you know who controls the Bab el-Mondab Strait, Iran's allies, the Houthis, who have been able to take control of over 3 ,000 kilometers of western Yemen in the past 24 hours alone? Anyway, here's what Hegseth has to say. Here, play this clip. And we're ensuring that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. The economic pressure tightens every day. We control the strait. We will finish this fight. And then let me share with you what took place in Manhattan, the 9-11 ceremony that Donald Trump did not want to show up to because Donald Trump knew that, well, he wasn't able to give a speech about himself.

4:43Ben Meiselas:And he knew there were a lot of families, 9-11 victims, who were absolutely livid that Donald Trump continues to cover up for the Saudi regime, the monarchy, that Donald Trump has put his arm around the Saudi monarchy, has protected all of the documents, and has not released what's actually went down and additional information. And we know a lot of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia. I want you to listen to what Terry Strada said about her husband, Tom Strada, who was killed tragically in 9-11. And you have J.D. Vance at this Manhattan event at 9-11. And Terry Strada calls out all past administrations and this administration looking at J.D.

5:30Ben Meiselas:Vance for helping to cover up more about the Saudi government's role in all of this. Here, play this clip. And my husband, Tom Strada, you are missed more with each year that passes. But how can it be 25 years and still we have no justice for the role that Saudi Arabia played in your murder?

5:59Yes, we finally made it into a court and have proved that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia fomented a rancid culture of anti-American terrorism around the globe and then sent its agents to support the radical Islamist hijackers so they could attack you and all of our loved ones. But for 25 years, administration after administration, including leaders in front of us here today, chose to protect the Saudis instead of standing with the 9-11 families.

6:36They withheld evidence. They vetoed JASTA. They broke promises, both public and private. It has been one betrayal after another. President Trump can still change that. Tell the Saudis to stop lying. Tell them that if they want to be friends with the USA, they cannot continue to deny all of this, all of the pain, all of the destruction that we have all been suffering through. Vice President Vance, thank you for being here today. Please carry that message back. Stand with the families. Stand with the survivors. stand with Americans. As my husband, Tom, would have said, that is always the right thing to do.

After Rudy Giuliani has been working to say all these horrible things about Mamdani and saying Mamdani shouldn't be at the 9-11 ceremony, and it's an insult to the 9-11 victims and their families that the New York City mayors show up. Mamdani, Mayor Mamdani still shook Giuliani's hand. And just look when Mamdani was standing right there. You said Giuliani shook his hand. And after all of that, you just see how phony Giuliani and all these MAGA people are. Here, play this clip. We want to look at some of the arrivals there.

8:03We're seeing Mayor Zoran Mamdani with former Mayor Rudy Giuliani. This is really an extraordinary moment.

8:11Ben Meiselas:Here's that photo of Biden and Dr. Jill Biden and George W. Bush. You see the photo right there. Former first lady over there. Back to what Hegseth was saying. Hegseth was saying, our warriors have fought an Islamic theocracy that wished us death for nearly half a century that cheered on 9-11. Again, they continue to try to connect their catastrophic war in Iran with 9-11. It has nothing to do with anything. It has nothing to do with anything. And this is what they're continuing to do. Seriously, judgment day. It's more important than ever right now that we have a accurate media diet, that we can understand what's actually being reported and we could report in an objective way about these facts because these are not normal political times.

9:40Ben Meiselas:I mean, take a look at this article right here. This is an article from this morning. U.S. slaps new sanctions on networks aiding Iran's proxies in the Middle East. You take a look at how this is being covered. This is being covered mostly by right-wing news. Very little coverage on the left and the center. Why? Because we all know that when it comes to Treasury Secretary Besant, it is all absolute BS. Besant said three weeks ago, economic D-Day, he would go after any country that provided economic assistance to Iran. and then China said, we're going to continue to provide economic assistance to Iran.

10:17Ben Meiselas:Russia said, we're going to provide economic assistance and we're going to enhance civilian nuclear capabilities of Iran. Pakistan said, we're going to continue. All the BRICS nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization nation, we're going to continue to help Iran. And so what does Besant do? We're going to sanction the birds that fly over Iran. We're going to say it's like what do you and then best it's like i'm the house now you want to bet against me hey besant you've been a loser your whole damn life since you went into your own private fund where there were 90 redemptions the bond market the equities market everybody thinks that you are a bloviating idiot and you uh lived in barbie's malibu dream house in charleston south carolina You lived in a pink replica of Barbie's house.

13:01Ben Meiselas:He's like, they're just a bunch of losers, like sitting around saying, yeah, we're going to do this. We're going to do that. Here, play this clip. The Iranians get out zero. So, you know, over a two week period, the score, 140 billion to zero. So if they want to say that they have control of the street, it's like for those of us who are old enough to remember the He-Man women haters club and the little rascals. They're just a bunch of losers like sitting around saying, yeah, we're going to do this. We're going to do that. I mean, they're comical to me. Like, and then. Except Besant, you're referring to yourself.

13:37Ben Meiselas:Okay. Iran says the things and they've done those things. You've said, I'm going to do economic D-Day. And then you do not do economic D-Day. So you're actually referring to yourself. And you're saying this now when in the past 24 hours, the Iranian allied Houthis just basically took over all of Yemen. where Iran has been able to strike the U.S. bases in the region, you know, in the past week, and we've seen yet more damage done to the U.S. base in Jordan. I mean, you have Iran's foreign minister, Aragchi, posting the following. The U.S. Treasury Secretary has been gleefully boasting about wanting to impoverish Iranians and collapse our economy.

14:17Ben Meiselas:Instead, he stands powerless and exposed as the world loses belief in the U.S. financial system. Meltdown over cost of funding U.S. debt is only beginning. And what Foreign Minister Aragji from Iran posts is just what the United States 30-year government treasury yields are, over 5.35%. These are record highs. Treasury yields for the 30-year, the 20-year, the 10-year treasury yields are now hitting record highs. Diesel's over$6 a gallon, record high. The price of gas is hitting record highs right now. You have our Navy, the acting Navy secretary, Hung Kow, admitted that, quote, Iran blew the hell out of Bahrain, is what he said.

15:03Ben Meiselas:And Iran's foreign minister, Aragji, says, we appreciate the candor of acting Navy secretary, Hung Kow. Our powerful armed forces did indeed blow the hell out of the Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain. By the way, it's why I was showing everybody the satellite photos in real time when it was actually going down and the Trump regime was denying it. Now the Trump regime's acting secretary of Navy, Hong Kong, is admitting it. And you have Besson saying, oh, I just laugh at Iran. I laugh at what they're doing. Really? Because the American people aren't laughing at the latest CPI inflation numbers after the PPI numbers were higher than expected yesterday.

15:40Ben Meiselas:The CPI numbers came in higher than expected today. CPI inflation was 3.4 percent. Inflation rose 0.4 percent month over month. So if you just continue this trend at 0.4 % month over month, that means by the end of this year, we will be close to 5 % annual inflation. Also, core inflation rose 0.3 % in August. So this likely means that we will have another, we will have an interest rate hikes. If Donald Trump did nothing, we would have had probably three interest rate cuts this year alone. but Trump screwed up the entire economy and it's only going to get worse from there. And as I noted, I'm going to do more videos on this today because I think it's critically important.

16:26Ben Meiselas:But the Saudi-backed Yemeni government have withdrawn from basically all the areas. They're called the PLC. They withdrew from all areas in Western Yemen, including the Perim Islands and the Bab el-Mandab Strait. The Houthis control all of Western Yemen. Ansar Allah is like all of Western Yemen. and they took over about 3 ,000 square kilometers of territory yesterday. And if you think about some of these areas by Paramilin, some areas are as narrow as three kilometers and other areas in the Bab-El-Mondab Strait, like 26 kilometers. In other words, the Houthis can basically just be there with their weapons.

17:09Ben Meiselas:They don't even need sophisticated radar and they now fully can control, which they do right now, the Bab-El-Mondab Strait. They have all the Hanish Islands. They have Perim Island right now. Look at this green right here. You can see all the areas that the Houthis control. I'll show you this in Ansar Allah fighter in Bab el-Mandaab explaining that they don't need drones or missiles anymore to block non-compliant vessels. So now Iran and the Iranian-backed Ansar Allah in Yemen combined control about 30 to 40 percent of all of the world's oil supply right now. So what do you say about that? Best sent here.

18:29Ben Meiselas:And with all of this going on, you have Iran and Gulf states will be having a meeting on Monday. Gulf foreign ministers plan to meet their Iranian counterpart in a push by Oman and Iran. to secure a buy-in for a deal, temporarily managing shipping through the Strait of Hormuz as regional states seek a pathway to ease hostilities over the waterway. The gathering and Omani initiative would be the first meeting between the top diplomats from the six members of the Gulf Cooperation Council and a senior Iranian official since the U.S. and Israel launched the war against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

19:08Ben Meiselas:In other words, no more U.S. security umbrella. You have Arab nations meeting with Iran and they are holding their own security meeting, demonstrating that the U.S. is basically viewed as utterly weak and pathetic and not having a central role to play and that Trump is incapable of doing any deal at all. And finally, I'll leave you with this. So what's our FBI doing with all of this going on in the world, with everything that's happening? What's the FBI doing? Well, a recent FOIA records request demonstrates that Kash Patel directed the top FBI leadership to find accounts that were criticizing him and respond.

19:50Ben Meiselas:And one of the accounts he wanted to make sure that responded was an account called, and excuse my language, this is just me reporting the facts, Retard Finder. and aid warned Kash Patel that replying to retard finder would look bad on the FBI director for responding to that account. And Patel complained, it's getting a lot of tweet views. So we need to respond. An FBI official said, yeah, we're not responding to I find retards. That would be bad on you. You're the director of the FBI. And Kash Patel says, it's not about them. It's about the number of views, man, because people see it and they need to be seeing our stats.
