0:29Ben Meiselas:Donald Trump and Xi Jinping, the leader of China, just wrapped up their meeting in the White House. Donald Trump once again continued to fall asleep in public during a high-profile meeting like this. Xi Jinping talked about the Thucydides trap and how China is the ascending power. America is the declining power. And Donald Trump just took it. But of course, there was a big deal announced, everybody, because you know Donald Trump, Mr. Accordion Hands, is a big deal maker. China has agreed to send two pandas, folks, to Atlanta. The Atlanta Zoo will have two pandas, which is great, but that's the best deal that Donald Trump was able to make with Xi Jinping.

1:13Ben Meiselas:Meanwhile, the glazing of Xi Jinping by Donald Trump all morning was utterly humiliating. It began with Donald Trump's first post. I met with President Xi at the plane airport yesterday, and he looks strong, vibrant, and fit. Better than ever, Trump says. And Madam Xi, of course. Beautiful. D.J.T. Do you want to say her full name? Madam Xi. And then Donald Trump says, I met him at the plane, the airport. Okay. We know that's where planes are. Donald Trump then says, a big day with President Xi of China. Superintelligence, SI, will be a topic of discussion. That's Donald Trump's thing. We are no longer calling AI AI.

2:06Ben Meiselas:We're calling it SI. We're calling it super intelligence. What a deal. Look what I did. I changed the name of something just like Gulf of Mexico, just like Lake Ontario. I just name things and then I destroy things. That's what I do. And then I rename it. Then I rename it again. It's just one massive naming Ponzi scheme. So deranged. I want to leave it exactly where it is. This is China's position. Also, our guardrail is the DOJ. I'm not changing anything about AI. Our guardrail is the DOJ, really your criminal defense lawyer who represented you in a case where you were found guilty of dozens of felonies who runs the DOJ.

2:49Ben Meiselas:That's our guardrail. And it's just you saying, she loves me. She's my friend. And then Donald Trump, again, attacking the media. The Ford Theater lie is just another example how the fake news media and the Democrats conspire together to make up false stories about Donald J. Trump. Shouldn't be allowed to happen. Our country is desperately seeking a free and fair press. There was the story yesterday by MS Now that Donald Trump wanted to change the name of the Ford Theater where Lincoln was assassinated to the Trump Ford Theater. And he says, that's fake news. And then he wrote in a legal filing, and it seems like he was the one who wrote it last night.

3:28Ben Meiselas:This is another example why it's a national security threat and we need to ban the press. And then the judge that he appointed in his first term, Judge Kelly, ruled against him and then ordered that MSNOW, CNN and Politico be able to get their credentials back and report from the White House. But during the Xi Jinping meeting, they were still banned. So they had to file an emergency motion. And like minutes before the hearing, they were then allowed to go back in, but they missed the Xi Jinping meeting. But they had to file an emergency motion that Donald Trump was violating the order and still banning them.

4:07Ben Meiselas:So I just want to paint this picture for you. China's press was able to be at the White House, but the U.S. press, at least Politico, MSNOW, and CNN were viewed as the national security threat, not China's press. The U.S. press was banned while China's press was there today. So the U.S. press had to file an emergency motion. And right before the hearing was set to take place, then Donald Trump allowed the, He graciously allowed the press to show back up. I'm being sarcastic. They didn't comply with the court order. By the way, when you looked at what was going down on the Xi Jinping meeting, Donald Trump had Xi walk through that like absurdly grotesque, Trump calls it like his presidential walk of fame, where he like writes all these horrible things about Obama and other Democratic presidents.

5:01Ben Meiselas:And then for former President Biden, Donald Trump has a photo of an auto pen instead of actually the photo of Biden. So you can see Xi Jinping looking at it like this guy is like a crazy person. Also, Ivanka was there. Not really sure why, you know, she was with the U.S. government delegation there. Usha Vance not looking too happy. Donald Trump looking very sleepy. Just so you can see when Xi Jinping was talking about Thucydides' trap. Again, that's a story, the Thucydides trap from Thucydides about the Peloponnesian War, the rise of Athens, the decline of Sparta, or the rise of a great power, the decline of another power, the rise of China, the decline of the US.

5:46Ben Meiselas:That's the structure of the Thucydides trap, basically. And here's Donald Trump fighting the war of wokeness right now. Here play this clip.

6:03We should coexist in peace. As I have said many times, China and the United States as two major countries.

6:12Ben Meiselas:Then when Donald Trump walked out to greet Xi, he couldn't walk in a straight line. Here, play this clip.

6:36Ben Meiselas:And he keeps on talking about super intelligence, super intelligence. You can see for yourself. Let's play it. Technology and super intelligence, SI. The decisions we make in these areas today can promote peace and prosperity for decades and decades to come. Then Donald Trump talks. Well, you see Ivanka right there while Donald Trump was sleeping and he was talking about AI. Xi Jinping then speaks and she talks about the Thucydides trap can be overcome. And he's saying this to Trump's face again, the Thucydides trap and what he's saying, what Thucydides trap means, it can be overcome. if you understand your role, Trump, that the U.S.

7:20Ben Meiselas:is no longer the ascending power. China is. So back off. That's what he's saying here. Here, play this clip. ... dialogue and improve mechanisms for crisis communication and prevention. The Thucydides trap can be overcome. Then Xi announces the big panda deal. I did the deal. Two pandas, Atlanta Zoo. By the way, I love pandas. I'm excited to see the pandas if I visit a land. I'm not going to lie. But I thought we'd maybe get a little more out of this than the pandas. Here, play this clip. The giant panda has been an envoy of friendship between the Chinese and Americans. Here, I have a piece of good news.

8:00In a few days, two pandas, Ping Ping and Fushuang, will come to their new home in Zoo Atlanta and meet with the American people.

8:10Ben Meiselas:Oh, by the way, Xi announced another major initiative, 100 ,000 young Americans to visit China in the coming five years. And again, this is all part of China's plan, though, to show that they are now the educational center. Do you see what they're doing? That they're the educational center of the world. As Trump has attacked the education system here, China has invested so much money in their education system and attracted top professors from all over the world. And now it used to be Chinese students would want to come to the United States. That's still the case. It's not totally not the case anymore.

8:49Ben Meiselas:But what's being said here, pay attention, is now it's going to go in the opposite direction where China is the focal point of where people are going to want to study. This is what this is really initiating in earnest right here. Here, play this clip. The hope of China-U.S. relationship lies in our people, and its future lies with the young. I am glad to announce an invitation for 100 ,000 young Americans to visit China for exchanges and study in the coming five years.

9:26Ben Meiselas:and then more of donald trump's deranged rantings uh during this white house meeting with she and trump says since you were here or since the time of my first election we've had all of these great meetings but this is the first time you've been in the white house and doesn't look great doesn't look so different from when the last time you were here and the last time he was there was under former President Obama. Here, let's play this clip. From the time of my first election in 2016, President Xi and I have forged a friendship, a truly great friendship, actually built on mutual respect and the vital interests of our people.

10:03We have spent time together all over the world, from Germany to Argentina, Japan to South Korea, and Beijing to Palm Beach, Florida. But remarkably, this is our first time meeting together here at the White House. And as President Xi has already seen, a lot has changed since he was last here. If you've ever looked into GLP-1s, you probably had the same reaction I did. Why is this so expensive? That's what initially got me interested in collective. What I really liked when I tried it was how straightforward the entire experience was. I could actually message a real doctor when I had questions instead of dealing with some AI chatbot.

10:42And there wasn't this confusing pricing structure where you're constantly wondering what you're going to pay next month. Collective was founded by Gunnar Lovelace, founder of Thrive Market, with a similar idea. Bring people together, pull their buying power, and negotiate better prices. That's how Collective offers doctor-prescribed compounded GLP-1s for$59 a month from registered U.S. pharmacies with third-party testing for quality. And that price stays the same at every dose, no hidden fees, no locked in subscriptions, and no introductory medication price that suddenly jumps. You also get unlimited messaging with a real doctor and access to a licensed nutritionist for nutrition, exercise, and supplement support.

11:23And you can start with a 21-day free trial where you just pay for the medication and easily cancel anytime. Get compounded GLP-1s for$59 a month from Collective. It's the same price every dose, and you don't have to prepay in advance to get the lowest price in the country. Visit collective.org slash Midas. That's C-O-L-L-E-C-T-I-V-E dot org slash Midas. M-E-I-D-A-S.

11:53Ben Meiselas:And meanwhile, what was going on in other news throughout the world? Well, China's foreign ministry spokesperson was once again asked if they will continue to cooperate with Iranian airline flights into China, even though the Trump regime has threatened massive sanctions against any country that allows Iran's airplanes to land. And China's foreign ministry spokesperson says, of course, you know, we don't believe that these unilateral sanctions apply and we disagree with them here. This is what he says. Play this clip. Good afternoon. Question from AFP. I know I asked about this yesterday, but the U.S.

12:38has threatened to punish countries that allow Iranian flights to land on their territory from today. Can I ask if China will keep receiving and accommodating flights from Tehran? Thank you.

12:57China's position is consistent. We firmly oppose illicit unilateral sanctions without basis international law and the lack mandate from the UN Security Council. Next question.

13:14Ben Meiselas:While the US media was banned, at least Politico, CNN, MSNOW from the White House, You had footage right here of China's media right there. Let's play this clip.

13:37Ben Meiselas:And also we saw, take a look right over here, Brent crude oil surging above$107 a barrel. Look at that straight line up as the price of crude continues to surge up more than 5 % today. Upon the news that, surprise, surprise, the Trump regime's lies about productive mediation talks with Iran were just lies. And Iran made it clear our non-negotiables have remained our non-negotiables. What we've agreed to in the MOU, those are our preconditions. Agree to them or we don't want to do a deal with you. Also, Yemen's Houthis are back. Well, they've been here, but they are continuing now to strike deep within Saudi Arabia.

14:24Ben Meiselas:They struck Saudi Arabia's Jizan oil region in the southern southwestern area of Saudi Arabia. They've been able to strike Yambu in the more central western area of Saudi Arabia. They were striking in the east as well. So lots of Houthi strikes of Saudi oil refineries. And they made this announcement about big strikes there. So that's, of course, going to create more stress on the supply of oil. By the way, go back yesterday. I did a long video on oil, supply of oil. And so check that out. and why a diesel export ban could be problematic, likely will be, and why it needs to be well thought out.

15:10Ben Meiselas:Also, Oracle stock tanking because Oracle had to send a force majeure notice this morning over its New Mexico data center, this billion-dollar facility. And Oracle says, we're not going to be able to meet our obligations under this facility. And the way these facilities are done to is they're structured as like landlord-tenant agreements so that these companies like Oracle don't have their debt on the books and they frame it as these kind of capital expenditures on leases. It's a whole scheme I can get into, but the short of it for now is that they're invoking force majeure, meaning act of God is what they're saying.

15:56Ben Meiselas:And that's why they can't proceed with this data or they have to slow down the data centers over there. Meanwhile, Treasury Secretary Besant has a message that he is going to make Iran cry uncle. This is what he says. This is the message. Iran will cry uncle. Here, play this clip. in terms of constricting and cutting off the financial oxygen to them. And I don't know whether it's going to be a week, a month or two months, but they are going to yell uncle. And the goal here can be one of three states of the world. One, the regime turns on each other. Not impossible. Two, we get some kind of uprising from the Iranian people.

16:41They probably killed 50 ,000 of their own population. So very, very difficult. and then three, to get the Iranians to, if they want to make a deal, to stick to the deal. As President Trump said at the beginning of August, he didn't think the Iranians were ready for a deal. We gave the MOU a try on June 3rd, and then the Iranians, a few weeks later, began firing on ships in the strait and being very aggressive. And this time, if there is a deal, I guarantee you they're going to stick with it. What bizarre language do you want?

17:14Ben Meiselas:We're going to make them cry, uncle. One way or another, they'll give up. I mean, that's your lesson out of all of this. That's that. That's your lesson. By the way, Iran released a new AI Lego video about Besant. I'm not going to play the whole thing, but I'll play a small portion over here. Let's play it.

17:43You jump on Trump's boots while you swallow your defeat. Kiss ass. Crying on Bloomberg every time the numbers tank. Boo-hoo! Calling reporters' parents when you bounce at the bank. Forty trillion in the gutter on your watch. Terrorists bring inflation and you're sweating in your crotch.

17:55Ben Meiselas:And then Besson says, don't worry, everybody. Oil prices will drop. Once we get to the other side of this, it will be great. It will drop and we will take credit for it. We are the arsonists and when it resolves, we will act like we fixed our own issues. Here, play it. We had negative wage growth. We are seeing substantial wage growth here. That wage growth is going to continue going. We will get to the other side of this Iran conflict. The energy prices will drop and you will pick your purchasing power back up. Well, there you have it. That's what went down today. Let me know what you think. Hit subscribe.
