In short

The episode alleges Donald Trump’s cognitive and physical health is rapidly deteriorating, citing clips of him appearing unable to stand properly, falling asleep during Oval Office press conferences and events, and making erratic or “deranged” statements. It also claims political pressure for a 25th Amendment inquiry is insufficient, and discusses alleged diet/health-related claims about his cabinet.

Guest backgrounds

No guests are named in the transcript. A cardiologist, Jonathan Reiner, is quoted; Dr. Oz is referenced as helping Trump into a seat.

Key claims

0:00Ben Meiselas:It's happening. The question is, how much longer does he have? Donald Trump's cognitive and physical health continues to rapidly deteriorate. He doesn't even know how to stand up anymore. This is what it looks like when he stands up for a press conference. He like closes his legs. Very odd. He's all over the place. Play this clip.

0:34Ben Meiselas:Yesterday, he needed to be helped into his seat by Dr. Oz. I'll show you what that looked like. Play this clip.

0:51Ben Meiselas:Then Donald Trump proceeded to fall asleep throughout all of his Oval Office press conferences and during all of his public appearances. Let me show you what happened as he fell asleep in the Oval Office yesterday. Let's play it. Great state for 50, 60, 70 years. And it wouldn't have been done without the president of the United States, Donald Trump. There's no doubt about it. I want to thank you for the great team you put together. You've put together, I think, a world-class team in Doug Burgum, Secretary of the Interior, Secretary Wright, and then Secretary Lutnik. I can't say enough about your secretaries and your staff, Mr.

1:26Ben Meiselas:President. They have executed what you want to have. He continued to fall asleep as each individual spoke. He couldn't stay awake here. Play this clip. South Carolina and they're going in Kentucky, right? These are gigantic nuclear power plants because we want to create the supply chain for nuclear so we can be the exporter on the world of nuclear. This is exactly Then he started winking at Natalie Harp. I'll show you this. Let's play it. And the reason is it's going to deliver low cost energy to Alaskans. You can see him here fully slung forward in his chair with his eyes shut at an event. Again, And this event was at 2 p.m.

2:08Ben Meiselas:Let's play it. To build our steel in America, because the input is coming from outside the country. So now we are unleashing the Iron Range in Minnesota, which is the greatest, as the chairman said, the greatest. You can see him over here falling asleep again. I'll just show you this clip. State of Iowa. And then they meet up together with some of the best entrepreneurs in the world on planet Earth. Just to my right right here from SR, who have many businesses around the world, and that needs to exist. Then he held a Hispanic heritage event. And as he has this disinhibition, he always focuses on the wives of his cabinet members who he's attracted to.

2:51Ben Meiselas:And I think he's attracted to some of his cabinet members also. And so he calls up Marco Rubio to the stage. And he's like, where's Jeanette? Where's your wife? I want to see your wife. It's really deeply creepy. Here play this clip. come on say a few words and i think jeanette where is jeanette is your wife here she had to leave leave me she had to leave to the earth okay because i would have her up in about two minutes she's been she has she has been a great a great representative please marco thank you i won't say thank you mr president for hosting then during his hispanic heritage speech he says something like the good thing about Hispanics is that if you fell off of the golden ballroom, you would be able to survive.

3:40Ben Meiselas:Only a Hispanic could survive the fall off of the ballroom. And what does it even mean? Only a Hispanic could survive the fall. And it's a small group of people in this room, but like they cheer it. Like what are you even talking about here? Play this clip. So there's a tunnel going to what will be, I think the greatest ballroom ever built. It's also a tremendous military complex with a drone port on top. It's it's quite the place And you literally will be the first group ever to enter the premises So be very careful Don't fall over the edge because it's a long way down And only a hispanic could survive that fall So i'm not overly worried I'm not overly worried so uh Again, we got to get out and vote.

4:32You got to spread the word how well we're doing.

4:34Ben Meiselas:Then he says, I really hated to do this, especially to the Mexicans. To all the Mexicans, I'm sorry, but Gulf of Mexico is Gulf of America. I know, utterly deranged here, play this clip. But I think even cooler than that was the Gulf of, I hated to do this to the Mexicans. We love the Mexicans, but the Gulf of Mexico is now the Gulf of America. Is that okay? Gulf of.

5:01There could be a few people in the room that don't love that one, but what the hell?

5:06Ben Meiselas:He has really nothing to say, so he's just like, the incredible Hispanics, Latinos. Hispanics, Latinos. You go by a lot of different names. I use Hispanics. Here, play this clip. Wait till the end. We have some things to say. and if you don't mind what I'm going to do before we talk about the incredible Hispanics, you know, there's lots of different names, Latinos, they call them so many different names, but I've used Hispanics when I got elected and I got a big majority of your votes. I'm going to keep using the same, the same word. And then as he keeps on saying the word Hispanics, Hispanics, then he starts to basically merge that with i guess talking about iraq he's like the hispanics we probably shouldn't have gone into the war in iraq here play this clip so i'm thrilled to welcome you now we'll get back to hispanics okay you want but the hispanics what i just said about being out of a place where probably shouldn't have gone was so good.

6:16You know what happened? They fired everybody. They took everybody in Iraq. They fired the soldiers. They fired the generals. They fired the police. They fired everybody in the home office or the equivalent of the one. They had nobody. So they have Iraq, and they had nobody to run it. And you know what happened? ISIS formed. The generals and all of the police that all got fired. Everybody was fired in that country. Everybody, nobody. They'd call in, nobody would answer the phones. It was a mess.

6:43Ben Meiselas:I know it's like utterly like lunatic stuff right here. Let me share with you over here where Donald Trump then claims that he got more people watched the Republican midterm convention than watched the NFL games. And he claims 107 million people watched again, which is just entirely false. Here, I'll show you this. Let's play the clip. We had 107 million views. Think of that. We had over 100 million views, 107. The NFL had 25 million views. So we had four times what the NFL did. And, you know, it's possible that could be true. I don't know if it's possible, but other people will help greatly. This was a national convention, midterm convention.

7:28Ben Meiselas:And then as his press conference in the Oval Office is wrapping up, he says that he's not sure if he's going to be meeting with Dennis Rodman about Kim Jong-un, but he likes them both a lot. Here, play this clip. Thank you very much. Thank you guys so much. Thank you. Somebody told me I am. About Kim Jong-un, Mr. President. Oh, I don't know that. I don't know. But he's a good guy. Dennis is a good guy. Thank you very much.

8:03Ben Meiselas:And then right before that, he was saying that he's not sure if he wants to do a diesel export ban. He says things are going so great in the Strait of Hormuz, they couldn't be going better, he says. So, you know, it's all going to be great soon. The prices are going to plummet. And it's like, stop, man. It's very clear to everybody. You're just an absolute lunatic. Here, I'll show you. Let's play it. We'll see how it all works out. Jeff, go ahead. Mr. President, have you decided to ban diesel exports? Diesel? Diesel exports. I'm thinking about it. I speak to Chris and Doug about it a lot. They sort of think it'll help diesel, but it might raise the price of other things.

8:48And I think we're in a good place because oil prices are going to start to come down. Tremendous oil is coming out of the Hormuz straight now. We're running it. We're literally running it. We have total control. I guess that's always subject to change. You know, one mind.

9:04Ben Meiselas:As we said on the Midas Touch account, pretty insane that the president falls asleep in the Oval Office during televised meetings on a near daily basis. And there aren't overwhelming calls for the 25th Amendment. Well, the Midas Touch Network did catch up with some members of Congress before the House of Representatives was shut down again by MAGA Mike Johnson. And at least the Democrats have said that they will be doing an inquiry into Donald Trump's health if and when the Democrats take control of the House. Let me just show you an example of that. Let's play this clip. If the United States Congress has any life left in it, every member of Congress and senator must be calling for Trump's removal today based on the 25th Amendment.

9:49He's threatening the entire destruction of a civilization. He is calling Iranians animals. He is showing a total disregard for the humanity of people in Iran, in Gaza, in Cuba. This is a moral crime. It is a war crime. We need to be demanding that Congress convene today and we need to be invoking the 25th Amendment.

10:12Ben Meiselas:Here's another example of a Democrat talking about launching these investigations. Here, play this clip.

10:42Because if he is being, if the determination is that Donald Trump cannot be trusted in the situation room and in unfolding scenarios, then he's not fit to be president.

10:55Ben Meiselas:And then we also learn that Donald Trump is having his cabinet go on a sauerkraut diet. and cardiologist Jonathan Reiner says, cardiologist here, there's no patient for whom I recommend daily hunks of meat and sauerkraut. If you take the statin, a diet dense in meat is counterproductive. As for the sauerkraut, it's high in sodium and will raise your blood pressure. The president should get his nutritional advice from his doctor, not his HHS secretary. And this article went on to say how Trump's cabinet all have to wear these matching$145 Florsheim Oxfords gifted to them by Donald Trump, and he makes sure they don't fit the feet of the cabinet members.

11:43Ben Meiselas:They're reportedly eating the same living diet, which consists almost entirely of hunks of meat and globs of sauerkraut. And so they all do this, Howard Lutnick and Duffy and Vance and RFK and Trump's favorite aide, Natalie Harp, passes the president positive news coverage and good polls, like she's the mean girl's gossip Gretchen Weiners, other white, I don't even know what I mean. I don't even know how this is real. I don't even know how this is so unwell, and this is all happening before our eyes right here, as Donald Trump continues to say, ah, everything's good. We control the Strait of Hormuz.

12:28Ben Meiselas:We're winning. Iran's going to give up soon. Or one way or another, it's going to be over. Maybe I should just blow them all up. That's what I'll do. I'll just blow them all up if we don't do a deal. Here, play this clip. You described the Iranians that the U.S. is dealing with as crazy. How do you get a deal done when the counterparts to the U.S. are crazy, irrational, whatever you want to use to describe it? blow them up. Maybe you blow them up. We have to make that decision. We blow them up, make a deal, but the time is coming. It's going to end very soon one way or the other. I mean, for real, I mean, Donald Trump needs, I mean, to be removed.

13:12Ben Meiselas:I mean, we're talking about 25th amendment. We're talking about impeachment, but there needs to be an inquiry into his rapidly declining health. I could show you more clips, but I think you get the point. Hit subscribe. Let's get to 7 million subscribers. Thanks for watching.
