In short

The episode centers on President Volodymyr Zelensky’s warning that Russia’s new jet-powered drones and cruise missiles (Garin-4, Garin-5) are harder to intercept than earlier Shahed/Shahid drones. Zelensky claims Russia launched 277 drones in 24 hours, with only about a 51% interception rate for jet-powered drones, and warns the war could spread to Europe if U.S. sanctions passed by Congress aren’t implemented. The host also highlights alleged Russian tech advances: real-time battle damage assessment via UAVs, and Garin-5 modifications with autonomous optical navigation. Notable examples include strikes in Kyiv, Odessa (port/civilian infrastructure), and near the Belarus border, plus footage of a MiG-29 shooting down a Shahed over Odessa.

30Ben Meiselas:All hell is breaking loose and Ukraine's President Zelensky is issuing a dire warning after 277 drones were targeting Ukraine launched by Russia in the past 24 hours. Zelensky's warning is that the drone interceptors that were previously effective against the older Shahid drones used by Russia are not working like they used to against these new faster jet-fueled Garin-4s and, of course, the Garin-5s used by Russia, those cruise missiles, really can't be stopped. Only 51 % is the interception rate. And Zelensky is also warning that if Donald Trump doesn't implement the sanctions package that was passed by Congress in the past two weeks, it requires implementation that this already existentially difficult winter for Ukraine is only going to get more difficult.

32Ben Meiselas:and it's not going to stop at Ukraine that this war could spread to the rest of Europe very soon. Let's take a look at what's happened over the past 24 hours in this catastrophic war in Ukraine by Russia. We'll talk about the Russian strikes in Ukraine. We'll talk about Ukraine strikes in Russia. One of those strikes very close to the Belarus border. We'll show you what went down over there. And Donald Trump promised he was going to end this war in 24 hours after the election. This war is getting far more deadly, far more catastrophic. Also, Donald Trump is blaming all of the world's oil crises and shortages on this catastrophic war right now and saying, that's what's the main driver of diesel and gas surging.

23Ben Meiselas:Nothing to do with the catastrophic war in Iran. By the way, that's not true. But in any event, you, Donald, said you would end the war in 24 hours in Ukraine with your magic words, more lies. So in the past 24 hours, 277 drone attacks launched by Russia against Ukraine with these jet-powered drones, these Garen-4s, also the Garen 5 cruise missiles we saw were used by Russia. In Kyiv, we saw repeated drone strikes. There were multiple people injured and killed. In Sumy, we saw two to three people killed. In Kharkiv and Zyprecia, about seven people killed combined. In Odessa, Ukraine, there was a mass strike on port and civilian infrastructure there.

15Ben Meiselas:In Donetsk, there was three killed, five injured. And then in the Dnie provost oblast, two killed, six injured. Anywhere from about on the low end, eight, probably more like 14, 15 Ukrainians killed and about 50 to 57 injured. Then Ukraine's strikes, there was an oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai, an Azov optical mechanical plant still on fire from the strike a few days back. In the Krasnodar region, Russian authorities claims Ukrainian drones killed three people. And then in the occupied area in Zyprosia, Ukrainian drones were alleged to kill one civilian and two others potentially over there. So let me show you what went down.

05Ben Meiselas:This video has just surfaced of what appears to be a Ukrainian drone attack on a Russian logistics truck right by the Russia-Belarus border, but obviously in the Krasnoy-Kamen Russia area. Take a look for yourself of what went down here. Let's play this clip.

53Ben Meiselas:Now I'll show you a Russian Garin 5 cruise missile entering into an uncontrolled spin mid-flight. And I think I'm looking at it right now. It looks to be a 5, but the Garin 4 4 is the drone, the 5 is the cruise. You tell me what you think this is, but in any event, take a look at what just took place. Let's play it.

51Ben Meiselas:And now I'll show you this footage right here of a Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 Fulcrum scoring a gun kill with its 30 millimeter autocannon on a Russian Shaheed attack drone over Odessa you can see this for yourself let's play this clip now it's also notable some of the technological advancements that we're seeing in the Russian military. The Russian military is now capable of acquiring real-time high-quality BDA of its strikes with these Garin-type cruise missiles in downtown Kiev. In the footage below, we can see the moment of a Russian strike with a Garin-5 cruise missile on the Incom business center located in the Solyaminsky district of the Ukrainian capital.

52Ben Meiselas:The attack is monitored from a Russian UAV, possibly Gerbera type equipped with an HD camera. You can see that over there. Also, the Russians have begun using a new modification of the Garin 5 jet UAV, which has received an autonomous optical navigation system and a modified fuselage design. UAV is equipped with an optoelectronic correction system that allows it to navigate using images of the earth's surface and that's why you're seeing these more lethal strikes and you know the garin 5 the garin 4 are very difficult the garin 5 you really can't strike down at all unless you have patriot or thad interceptors which zelinski doesn't have and then the garin 4 drones these jet-fueled shaheed upgrades basically um 51 interception rate i think it's actually less than that You can see right here in Kiev in the Van Hardar region right there.

55Ben Meiselas:You can see for yourself what the strikes look like there. We've got the footage that I played at the outset as well from the Stoljanić market where one of these Garen 4s looked like it struck. Two dead, 10 injured there. I'll show you over here more strikes in Kiev. See what this looks like. More strikes over here as well. Here's the message from Zelensky and the warning. Today alone and in Kiev alone, Russian jet-powered drones vanquished, killed two kindergartners and two schools, an ordinary residential building, an auto repair shop, several warehouses and communications facilities. Anywhere in the world, this choice of targets would be called one word, terrorism.

42Ben Meiselas:Russia has no military objective whatsoever in doing this, Zelensky says. It is purely an attempt to break people and inflict as much harm as possible in our society. Tragically, there are people killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Dozens of people were injured overall since yesterday. The Russians have used 277 attack drones of various types, 155 of them jet-powered. Among the damaged sites is also a building used as the residence of the Saudi Arabian ambassador. In the Dnipro region, a sports school is among the damaged facilities. In the Sumi region, the building of a regional children's home was damaged.

22Ben Meiselas:If Russia were truly preparing for any real steps towards de-escalation, as it claims, particularly to the American negotiators, this wave of Shahid terror would not be happening, and we need to take a sober view of the situation. Russia knows how to send the kind of encouraging diplomatic signals that the world simply wants to hear. It knows how to send such signals in order to delay tough steps by the world in response to the war. In America, the important Lindsey Graham sanctions and tariffs law has already reached the implementation stage. It is a law that can change a lot for the better of fully implemented.

01Ben Meiselas:This law needs to be implemented, and everyone in the world can see that there is every reason to apply it and a clear purpose for doing so, we are counting on effective decisions from the world and stronger pressure from our partners so that Russia sees that manipulating diplomatic signals will not allow it to keep winning more and more time for war and terror. It is important that our partners in the G7 and G20 also take a principled stance. Well, I don't think that Donald Trump is going to be implementing these sanctions. I think that is pretty clear. As I've said before, Donald Trump is obligated under the Constitution to take care that laws are faithfully executed, but our Constitution is based on good faith and taking care that a law gets implemented by the executive.

55Ben Meiselas:Donald Trump is not going to do that. So he just views it as a piece of paper, and he has not implemented the sanctions, which was one of the reasons that I said, what's really the point of it if he's not going to ever implement it. And it also sends a message to the world that he's weak and he's pathetic and he will not actually do what the Congress says, regardless of what your view is. I think it's an undeniable fact he's weak. New sanctions packages are being prepared. Good luck with those being implemented. And then Zelensky further says, next year, Russia plans to spend$12 billion on the production of jet-powered drones and loitering munitions.

36Ben Meiselas:Of course, this is not only about Ukraine. Ukraine's interception rate for jet-powered Shaheds is now 55%. In September, the Russians launched more than 2 ,730 jet-powered Shaheds, and more than 1 ,500 were shot down or suppressed. Unfortunately, a significant share still reached their targets, but step by step, we in Ukraine will build up our defenses to a level no lower than what we already had against the regular Shahids, more than 90 % of which get down. So originally it was 90%, then these new jet fuel, it's 51%. I think it's actually less than that. Other notable developments that we need to point out.

20Ben Meiselas:US ambassador to Greece and former fiance of Don Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, allegedly admitted in an interview for a Greek publication that the U.S. was behind the collapse of the Romanian government because of its refusal to purchase U.S. gas at above market prices. And I'll get into some of the links to Russia here in a moment. The U.S. ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, close to Trump, allegedly stated that the U.S. was involved in the dismissal of the Bolivian government, the former prime minister of Romania, according to the Wall Street Journal, quote, we can do this to any country we want.

03Ben Meiselas:We can do this in Greece too. Bolizhan opposed the vertical gas corridor strongly promoted by the U.S. ambassador to Greece, Don Jr.'s ex-girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle. Now here's video that shows Kimberly Guilfoyle, the U.S. ambassador to Greece and former fiance of Donald Trump Jr., meeting privately with the leaders of Romania's Social Democratic Party on March 31st in a Bucharest hotel. Just six days later, the Social Democrats, allied with the pro-Russian extremists from AUR, filed a motion that collapsed the Bolizan Romanian government, which strongly opposed purchasing U.S. gas at above market prices In a Wall Street Journal article yesterday, sources present a meeting between a Greek minister and Guilfoyle stating that she bragged about having collapsed the Romanian government for its refusal to buy U.S.

03Ben Meiselas:gas, warning the U.S. can do this to whoever they want to do it to. And it's notable that you have that link right there between the AUR, a more Russian sympathetic party that ultimately took down the Romanian government. Now, Donald Trump yesterday was saying that the main reason for the surge in diesel and gas is because of what's happening in Ukraine right now. And Ukraine strikes in Russia are targeting refineries there. Yes. Well, first off, it's because your catastrophic war in Iran is the main reason. But certainly what's happening in the escalation in Ukraine and Russia is certainly adding to the higher diesel prices for sure.

50Ben Meiselas:But you promised that you would solve this in 2024. That's what you told voters. So I'm not sure why you think this somehow helps your argument. To me, it shows that not only did you start the catastrophic war in Iran, but you lied to everybody when you said you'd be able to stop the war in Ukraine in 24 hours. Here's what Trump said. You can listen for yourself. Let's play this clip. The big problem is the refineries in Russia are being blown up. This isn't really a Middle Eastern problem. This is more of a Russia problem that Ukraine and Russia are going at it. And Ukraine is blowing up diesel refineries in Russia because they do a lot of the refining.

25So this one's an interesting one indeed. And I spoke to President Zelensky. I said, You got to take it easier in the refineries this much. He said, well, we'll probably do that. Okay.

37Ben Meiselas:And then similarly, you had the Trump bootlickers like MAGA Republican Congress member Van Orden. He was saying this yesterday. You can see for yourself. Let's play this clip. Yeah, your constituents, as we talked about, a lot of them are farmers and a lot of them are paying the price for the Iran war. I mean, diesel prices in Wisconsin are up more than a dollar compared to just last month, Congressman, and more than$3 compared to this time last year. Are you okay with your constituents eating the cost from this war? Well, Manu, it's much more nuanced than that. You gotta remember, there's a massive spike in diesel prices as soon as Russia invaded Ukraine due to Joe Biden's strategic weakness.

20We have multiple blue states that have shut down refineries across the country. We have multiple blue states that have shut refineries down across the country. That's leading to an increase in this also. And there's just, thank God, the diesel plant refinery just reopened in Illinois. We've had two of our refineries in the Midwest shut down recently. One just opened again. That's leading to a spike in these.

43Ben Meiselas:And then finally, there's another event that has a major red flags. Donald Trump's former lawyer, Alina Haba, who represented him in the E. Jean Carroll case, which resulted in a defamation verdict against Donald Trump for over 85 or it was like$90 million. And she, I guess, was also pretending to be the United States attorney in New Jersey for a period of time in this regime. Well, she just married a Turkish billionaire, Turan Mildin, a trust fund 29-year-old. They had a$10 million wedding. But take a look at this. There was somebody there named Ali Abdalaziz, who manages a lot of Russian, Belarusian, and Chechen MMA fighters, including Kamsmat Chamaev, who is close to Khad Yurav.

32Ben Meiselas:Al-Badzaziz was an FBI informant until the Bureau dropped him because they suspected he was a double agent. But then you have photos of him next to Kash Patel, the FBI director on the far right, who is apparently okay with all of this. As we know about Don Jr.'s wedding as well, where funded by a Russian oligarch or partially funded by a Russian oligarch. So cantinas for counter intelligence against the United States, as Michael Weiss puts it right there. Let me know what you think. Hit subscribe. Let's get to 7 million subscribers.
