In short

Todd McShay and Mina Kimes run a “War Room Mock Draft 4.0,” reacting first to the Bengals trading pick 10 to the Giants for defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, then selecting players by team through the early first/second round.

Guest backgrounds

Todd McShay is a long-time NFL draft analyst with draft guides and live draft coverage (noted as being on Netflix for the draft). Mina Kimes hosts.

Key claims

  • Giants got “an awesome return” with pick 10 for Lawrence (28, elite DT, down year but still double-teamed heavily).
  • Bengals’ trade suggests they’re prioritizing a proven defender and accepting the cost; success hinges on playoff impact.
  • Draft strategy: teams should match scheme fit (e.g., Stiles’ versatility; Reese’s edge speed; Downs’ communication).

Notable examples (selected/argued)

  • Jets: Arvel Reese over David Bailey.
  • Cardinals: trade down to 9 for offensive tackle “Maui Noah Rufano.”
  • Titans: Jeremiah Love over Reuben Bain Jr.
  • Bengals: Caleb Downs over Bain Jr.
  • Dolphins: Jordan Tyson.
  • Rams: Mekhi Lemon.
  • Buccaneers: Mesidor over Sadiq/Falk.
  • Vikings: Jermon McCoy.
  • Panthers: Kenyon Sadiq.

0:34hello before we get started with today's war room mock draft with todd mcshay i wanted to tape a quick reaction to the blockbuster trade that the cincinnati bangles did with the new york giants which affects the the draft you're about to listen to obviously but also all of draft week the Cincinnati Bagels gave up pick 10 straight up for Dexter Lawrence. Lawrence had been agitating for a trade, first an extension, then a trade when he didn't get the extension for a while now. And at first it seemed like no way New York's going to do it. And then it seemed like, well, maybe they're going to do it.

1:10And then, you know, I started speculating like a lot of folks about which teams might be in the running. I remember on NFL Live last week, I threw out the Chargers with pick 22, thinking that would be a nice return. Didn't think pick 10 was going to be on the table. So just to look at this first from New York's standpoint, that's an awesome return for Dexter Lawrence. 28 years old, one of the best defensive tackles in football. He's coming off of a down year. I still think he's a really good player. I'll talk about that when we get to the Bengals piece of this. But obviously the fact that they didn't want to give him the extension suggests that they felt perhaps age 28, they didn't want to pay for past production there's a couple years left on his existing deal they didn't want to give him an early extension last year their run defense was abysmal even with him wasn't entirely his fault but yeah so you know I have to say it's hard for me to be critical of New York getting pick 10 back and now they've got picks 5 and 10 fascinating combination of picks which now that you have pick 10 it might affect how they approach the entire draft.

2:15I feel with pick five, it's likely to be either linebacker, Sonny Stiles, Ohio State, perhaps his teammate, Caleb Downs, the safety, also Ohio State, and potentially Jeremiah Love. Of those three, Stiles, probably the one that I like the most for New York. And then with pick 10, again, this all depends on how everything shakes out. I think they could go in a number of directions. Downs might still be there, which would be awesome, bolstering the spine of your defense there's also some smoke around them and jordan tyson uh the wide receiver out of asus he's to be rising rapidly this week and they do need a receiver so that would be another option there honestly though there's a lot of directions that they could go in and i think all would be there's a few that would make a lot of sense so yeah new york joe shane or perhaps john john harbaugh who seems to be in control there firmly uh in the driver's seat in this draft now and you know I think just in terms of the value they got building the young core around Jackson Dart the potential here to address two premium positions is pretty enticing now for Cincinnati I find this all very fascinating so my first thought I had two thoughts my very first one was oh they really want to win now right because um you know Joe Burrow has made no secret of the fact that he's not been happy with the uh lack of you know make it to the playoffs obviously defense has gotten correctly the lion's share of the blame and dexter lawrence is at his best a game-changing player i mean he his pressures over the last few years i think second only like chris jones um you know he consistently ranks near the top in a number of metrics uh the fact that he He gets those pressures when he is often aligned at no zero is just wild.

4:08He did have a down year last year. He was playing hurt. I think it's probably worth mentioning he was still double teamed at the second highest rate in football. But I will say the extension they gave him, they added a year$28 million on top of the existing deal, is really not mind-blowing to me. So I think for Cincinnati starting there, I don't think, yes, 10 was a lot to give up, but the money to me is still fine. Uh, the other thing I'll say is this makes me think, and I've seen others express this thought, the Bengals probably thought, hmm, we are not going to be able to get one of the premium defensive players that we want at 10.

4:46Styles is going to be gone. Perhaps they thought Downs was going to be gone. Perhaps they thought all three of the top edge rushers, or maybe they don't like Bain Jr., are going to be gone. So they felt, let's be aggressive and get the proven player in Dexter Lawrence. So I think, you know, I understand it for both teams because they're on different timelines with different needs. But yeah, Cincinnati is a lot. Giving up pick 10 for a player is a lot. And plus the extension. And we'll see if it, I think for them, whether or not it succeeds or fails entirely depends on whether or not there's a playoff impact.

5:21That's how high the bar is for the Bengals. All right. So you're going to listen to this draft now. And we do not know. We did not know when we recorded it. Obviously that the Bengals didn't have pick 10, but all the other picks, you know, stand. So enjoy.

5:38Welcome back to the Municom Show featuring Lenny. Final war room of the 2026 draft season. Such a delight to be joined by the great Todd McShay. You can find all of his draft work, the draft guide, all of your constantly updating things over at ringer.com slash McShay. I also just found out you're going to be live on Netflix during the draft. next week. We are. This week. Yeah, yeah. We're excited. You know, live on Netflix first time around. So yeah, Mench and I, Steve Mench and the first night, the second night, we'll have a show on Saturday. So yeah, we're fired up. It's almost here. You ready for those 4K cameras they got at the Netflix studios?

6:19Never, but we'll make do. I don't think anyone's tuning in for our looks. I promise you. Well, listen, we're going to do the same thing we did last year. I give you two choices for every pick. I'm going to give you some trade options, and we're just going to get started right away. The very first pick, I have been giving everyone a trade option, and thus far, everybody has turned it down. You are the Las Vegas Raiders. One option is, of course, Fernando Mendoza, the chalkiest pick in the entire NFL draft. The trade, I'm going to make sure, because I've done this a few times, is from the Arizona Cardinals, which matters, of course, because you're only dropping to three.

6:59In addition to that pick, you will get a second this year, a first next year. This is from the Arizona Cardinals, likely to not be a very good team, even with Fernando Mendoza, and a second next year. So it would be second, first, second, not a massive haul per se, but how do you feel about Mendoza? How do you feel about next year's draft? Because you would certainly have the ammunition to go after a quarterback next year. It's enticing. I'm not going to sit here and lie. I think we're too far down the road. Like I know, I know Fernando, if I'm running the organization, I've got Fernando working with Brian Greasy and, and kind of preparing him for the NFL and, and in a non described role, you know, it's not, not necessarily with the team, but I think we know the, the, if you just go link with Brian Greasy with the Shanahan's and Kubiak, and I just, I think you can kind of put together what the, you know, what the breadcrumbs are here.

7:56So I'm going to turn it down, but I'll be honest with you. It's enticing because I know what next year's class is bringing. What's fascinating to me, Mina, is it was a real discussion, and obviously they hadn't gotten that deep into it, but it was Dante versus Fernando. And now you've got not only Dante, but you've got Arch Manning, and you've got Brendan Sorsby, who I think people are underrating right now, and potentially some other options. I mean, we didn't think that – I watched tape on Fernando last year and thought he could get it in the first round. I really liked his tape, but he wasn't near as consistent in the turnover-worthy plays and all that.

8:37So my point in bringing that up is, and Cam Ward was like a third to fifth rounder, depending on who you talked to the year before, out of Washington State before his Miami season. And Jaden Daniels was like a third, fourth rounder after his first year at LSU. So there will be others that we kind of think are good. Maybe a Sam Levitt with Kiffin. But all of that said, I'm taking Fernando. Bird in hand. Yeah. All right. Fair enough. If I had thrown in. And it gives me a one-year jump on it, too. Let's be honest. It gives me a one-year jump on developing the guy. And so we're that much closer to what we think can be the ceiling for him versus starting out with a rookie next year.

9:20Also, you don't know if you got pick one next year. A lot of teams are going to be bad this year. A lot of teams going to next year with a lot of draft capital. So I would understand some apprehension about not having your choice of those quarterbacks. I mean, the Jets have three picks and they're not going to win a ton of games. So we'd be up against a lot. The Browns, right? Okay. So the Raiders are sticking and picking. I want to give you another choice for the Jets than the one that I'm giving everyone. But it is the choice right now of the NFL draft. And that is Bailey versus Reese, a pick two.

9:52So Todd, this is what you would do, not what you think the Jets would do. If you were the Jets, and I think it's worth discussing every time because I am getting different answers from different people. Bailey, David Bailey, pass rusher, Texas Tech, or Arvel Reese, the pass rusher slash hybrid out of Ohio State. I'm taking Arvel Reese, if those are my only two options. I'm taking Arvel Reese. And I'm doing it. I better – I've talked to multiple executives, and we kind of all agree. You better have a plan and you better be in lockstep with your coordinator. In this case, it's Aaron Glenn. And so if the Jets choose David Bailey, as I think the information is – my information is leaning in that direction, it's because you don't feel like – I mean, let's face it.

10:38If you go to Aaron Glenn, who's running that defense, and he's leaning Bailey over Reese, then you've got to take Bailey because it means he doesn't have the plan that's crystal clear in his mind. I just look at Reese and I think he's different. And I think we're just scratching the surface. And I think he's special with the takeoff speed, which kind of confirmed whether you want to – like a 1-5-8 is elite-elite in a 10-yard split. And I remember the first time I really kind of got a true grasp of it was talking to Bill Polian with the edge rushes that they draft, and 1-6-0 was that line. Anything at 1-6-0 or faster, you're talking about 1-5-8.

11:23And the power and the fact that he's only played, you know, it was one year as a full-time starter, and he was kind of going back and forth between the off-ball and edge. I don't want to pass on a Micah Parsons type, you know, I'm not saying he's going to be Micah Parsons, But I remember standing next to Micah Parsons, watching him warm out at Penn State and just watching him throughout the game in person, watching his tape. And I get kind of similar vibes when I'm looking at Arvel Reese. Again, not the same exact player, but if utilized properly, there's such a high ceiling for him. And Bailey, you know what you're getting, and I love what you're getting.

12:03You're getting a pass rusher, but he's not great versus the run. He's got a little bit of tightness. I would take Reese slightly over Bailey. I am in agreement with you. Okay. Pick three. I'm going to do a trade here, or give you an option of a trade. Okay. I haven't done this yet for the Arizona Cardinals. This is a new one. I've been doing a lot of Cowboys trades. I've been doing, I think I did a Rams trade, which probably won't happen. This is a team that has not put in a call yet in these hypotheticals. One option for the Arizona Cardinals is that you stick and pick. You're not going to take David Bailey.

12:40your choice would be Francis Matoa. You're thinking, we got to get this thing right for the quarterback of the future, offensive linemen, safe pick. The other option is the Kansas City Chiefs are on the phone, and they are so desperate for some pass rush juice and speed and get off, and they want David Bailey, and they are afraid that the Titans, they think he's a Robert Sala guy, he likes his wingspan and all that. We are going to jump the Titans, and so if you're the Cardinals, you would drop to nine. You would pick up two second rounders in the process.

13:20I'm taking the trade. I'm taking the trade Mina because I want an offensive tackle and I want to complete this offensive line. Whether it's Ty Simpson later in this draft or a quarterback next year, I better have things in place for, for said quarterback. And so I'm going to get Maui Noah Rufano at nine. I really believe that because I have to trust my intel. My intel says it's not an offensive tackle at five. It's going to be Sonny Stiles, the linebacker, or the other Ohio State defensive player, Caleb Downs. And so at six, six is the one that they could, yes, they could take the offensive tackle.

14:04Six is the one that kind of worries me. they could take, but who, I would rather Maui Noah. I have him rated higher. You've got, you know, six, five and a half, 329 pounds, team captain, powerful, he's a man mover. He moves well for his size. It's all about his hands and getting his hands right.

14:27But I'm fine with Fano too, because, you know, I'm going to maneuver my offensive line, And Fano, yes, he played right tackle, but he played 12 games. He started as a freshman at left tackle. He's got the short arms. Worst case, I kick him into guard. For the value I'm getting, I'm not sticking at three and taking an offensive tackle. I'm moving back. Now I get two twos, man. Now I can rock and roll. Now in a draft where I'm looking at my needs chart, I need an edge. I need a quarterback. I need an interior defensive lineman where that IDL run is going to go in the second round. I could use another running back.

15:10This gives me options to actually build this roster. Do you hate this for the Chiefs? It's out of left field and they have needs. I do, actually. I do. It would be – They have more needs than I think. People are like, yeah, give him Jordan Tyson if he works out well. Give them a pass catcher there. They need another offensive lineman, Mina. They need a cornerback at some point. They need an edge rusher, which they'd be getting here.

15:42They really could use another tight end. So now I'm giving away picks to go get one of those, but now I'm kind of hamstrung. I don't know that Brett Beach would make that deal. I don't think he would. but I'd be thrilled if I'm sitting in for Monty Austin for, to, to make it for him. Yeah. Maybe two seconds might be a bit much. I didn't want to give up a first to go from nine to three. There's not a lot of precedent though, for I was looking at, I mean, there, it would be a very ambitious move, but they do desperately need pass. They need speed on the pass rush. They do. And, and that's, and after Bailey, there's not, there's no one quite like him.

16:20All right. Pick four. The Titans are devastated. Robert Sala wanted David Bailey. he has now a choice between Jeremiah Love, running back, Notre Dame, and I'll put Reuben Bain Jr. here out of Miami as an option. This is what you would do, not what they would do, because I don't know. Can I throw in another option or no? It's not how it works. Would you put Tate or Mauna Noah here? Is there someone else that you like? Sonny Stiles. Stiles. No, I can't. I can't. You can't. You can't. All right. So it's between, who would you say, Jeremiah Love and Reuben Bain? And Bain, yeah. It's Jeremiah Love.

16:56He's the best player in the draft. And if Sonny Stiles, I would probably lean in that direction. But in this scenario... Really? You would take Stiles over Love if I had given you that choice? Yeah, I've got Jeremiah Love one and Sonny Stiles two. I think Sonny Stiles is an absolutely special player if he's in a scheme that will utilize what he has to offer. I think he's just scratching the surface. I watch him, you know, the first year was at safety. The second year, he's kind of like finesse figuring it out. Third year, he's absolutely dominant all over the field. By the way, if you go look at his rush ability, just proportionally in terms of snaps rushing the quarterback, just as effective as Arbel Reese.

17:45I'm not saying we're going to do that a lot with him, but we can. What I am saying is in a scheme where like Fred Warner is kind of the model, well that i mean everything you just said then you can just copy paste onto the next choice i'm going to give you which is styles versus downs if you're choosing styles for the i am taking yeah i i am taking styles at five bane to me like i don't want to draft i'm already drafting it's either a running back not not bane so styles versus downs no i know i'm just going back to I'm saying if I'm making that choice based off of I've got a running back, which I don't love taking versus an edge of positional value, but there's still that outlier element of it.

18:27Sub 31 inch arms. We haven't seen that two decades in the first round. We haven't seen double digit sack guy from an edge rusher. So with that in mind, then we go to number five and it's styles versus downs. And I think this is actually legitimately what John Harbaugh and that, and that staff are kind of going through right now. and you look at the history with defenses that he's been the head coach of and whether it's McDonald and Minter. They have great value in that safety position. And then the rich history of linebackers and going back to Ray Lewis, Roquan Smith, all that. So I just think Sonny Stiles is absolutely special, and I think he's going to continue to ascend.

19:08I think the versatility in this day and age, as someone who can cover the way he can cover, the range he has versus the run, the rush ability that he has flashed. I think he's going to be one of the elite talents. I think we're going to look at that and say, if he went number two overall, we wouldn't have had a problem with it. Okay, the Cleveland Browns are next at six. This one should be interesting. One choice is going to be Mauinoa, because he felt, you know, they thought he might go early, but the Cardinals did that trade. So that is an option for them. The other choices, uh-oh, the phone's ringing.

19:48I'm going crazy with the trades. This is not going to happen, but I just want to make it interesting. It's the Dallas Cowboys. This one could. This one could. They want Bain. They are worried that Washington will take Bain. They're looking at pick seven and some of the other teams picking ahead of them, and they want to pass rusher. And they are willing to give you, the Cleveland Browns, 12 and 20. You send them. Okay, so for the Cleveland Browns, you would be dropping to 12 and 20. However, you also have to send them a 2027. Let's see, you're going from six to 12. A third. So the Cowboys are getting back some future draft capital as well to move up and go back.

20:32But they're giving up 12 and 20.

20:37Oh, you're killing me on that third next year, Mina. They got to sweeten it because I feel like it's just too much. 12 and 20 for six is a little bit. No, I hear you. I just don't want to give away anything next year knowing I could need a quarterback and I'm dealing with, I'm dealing with the Jets with three firsts. I've already said for a team that could is anywhere within a hundred miles of needing a quarterback. It is a fireable offense to give away 2027 capital. oh man 20 this 12 and 20 it's also like how do you feel about the receivers and the tackles if you're you know if you're cleveland because everybody knows that's what they're going to do so 12 and 20 you got some pretty nice cracks at them two cracks in the first round

21:30i get that third is killing me also you mawanoa you like mawanoa i like mawanoa i think i'm staying i've got to stay true to myself i can't it's enticing i'm staying i'm taking maui noah that's hard no it's fine that's grass makes us about hard choices because what what happened to sean watson we can't count on we know what gabriel is shador's probably not going to be the long-term guy maybe he is and that's great but but i i got to be ready next year to pull the trigger and it might require my second and my third and a one from the next year if we win too many games this year I like this choice for you for the commanders Reuben Bain Jr.

22:17pass rusher out of Miami or Carnell Tate the wide receiver out of Ohio State what would you do I'm taking Carnell Tate this is my favorite place I I don't think it's gonna have him but i would love it so much i look at i mean what do they have you know every is finally getting paid what he deserves to get paid but he didn't play you know so what are we getting debo's i don't think that's happening um luke mcafree i the more i like really sit in that chair for adam peters and i look at that depth that depth chart at wide receiver and i and i think to myself before i go to bed at night like am i gonna ruin this quarterback you know and i just brought in david blau the new quarter like i better and and and he wants physical receivers i and tate is that i'm taking carnell tate i i've just i've got to surround jayden daniels with weapons and and and i brought in some edge rushers like we're gonna be okay there if it was love would you have taken love over tape at pick pick uh pick seven i would have off of value yes i would have yeah but that receive that receiver room is is is keeping me up at night the saints are back up um i think this is one of the more i think they go in a bunch of different directions.

23:49That's why I find this team very interesting. I'm going to throw in the local Mansoor Delane, the cornerback out of LSU. And it's not as obvious of a need, but I do think the value of Bain Jr. is something worth considering here for them. Yeah. Brandon Staley is

24:14is staley needs two things for his defense to operate right he needs a cornerback who has man's own versatility who's smart fast eyes kind of decisive one to a t staley also needs edge rushers they like they come in all different shapes and sizes mina right like from from bosa to to toolie to Khalil Mack to Floyd to even last year, he got a lot out of Chase Young. They're all different sizes. They all ran different 40 times, right? But they all explode off the line of scrimmage and get up the field. I think the one that fits, I'd rather an edge rusher, and certainly Bain explodes and you get power.

25:06I just I think and I've got Delane ranked higher I would go with Delane here but it's tough to pass up on an edge rusher knowing how important that is but both are critically important for for Staley's defense I feel like that one was really hard on you it was I had to talk through it with you the Saints are one of the to me like the more like and then I got Tyler Shuck and it's Chris Olave and what do I do you know yeah receiver I know I've seen Tyson and it's like I get it I get it yeah um all right the Chiefs you remember traded with the Arizona Cardinals so they are back up at nine uh Bain is still there I'm gonna be Bain as an option for the Arizona Cardinals uh and then the other choice I am going to give you is Spencer Fano the tackle out of Utah I'm gonna take Fano I move back to get an offensive tackle at an appropriate spot.

26:00There's other edge. Here's the problem that a lot of teams are facing or the reality, if you will. There's seven offensive tackles. They're going to be gone in the top 30. And so after that, you really truly don't have a second round. Great. Maybe a fringe on a Caleb Tiernan from Northwestern, but like the shelf drops off drastically. If I don't get one here, whereas edge rusher, like, you know, there's Malachi Lawrence, there's R. Mason Thomas, there's Cassius Howell. There's guys to get in round two and even beyond. So I'm going with Fano here. You know, like I talked about 12 at left tackle, 24 at right tackle the last two seasons, 6 '5.5", 3 '11".

26:47Yes, the short arms are concerning, but we need to bring in a really good starting offensive lineman, and then we'll sort things out once we get them in the building. The Bengals are thrilled at 10. Yes. You've given them the choice between Reuben Bay Jr., again, and Caleb Downs, the safety, out of Ohio State. What a dream scenario, in my mind, for a Cincinnati Bengals team that could really use every position on defense. I'm going to surprise you and take Caleb Downs. the bane drop continues it does um i've got downs as my fifth player in the in the entire draft he's a culture changer he's one of the smartest players i mean he may he's been talked about as the smartest player in college football since he stepped on the campus in tuscaloosa three years ago certainly was that the last two years in columbus he's an enforcer he's physical he can cover enough he like teams didn't throw near him so the ball production is not elite but i i just i i think he's he raises the bar of everyone around him and i feel like the bengals need that they need communication on the back end they need to just that defense needs a player like that do they need an edge rusher yes but am i convinced that bain's going to be a double digit sack guy history tells me no so i'm taking i'm taking downs and i'm like i'm sleeping like a baby tonight so the dolphins are next i so desperately want to have the bucks trading now past the boys to get pain but i'm not gonna do it i'm having trouble keeping track of all these crazy trades uh i'm just gonna do a dolphins pick for you a dolphins choice um only basically mainly because i want to hear your um take on two receivers i'm gonna put lemon and tyson here Pick 11.

28:37Miami Dolphins need every type of receiver. So this is not like they could literally go in any direction. If you were the new GM there, who would you take between those two players? Yeah, John Eric Sullivan is looking at this and saying, I'm basically scrapping this entire team. I've got 11 picks this year, including four in the third round. I'm legitimately trying to build this thing from scratch. it would, we, we don't have the medical sitting in front of us. Right. But let's assume if, if you, if you were to tell me the doctors cleared them, we're good. I've heard kind of mixed reports. Uh, but, but mostly like, it'll, it'll be fine.

29:25Um, I'm taking Jordan Tyson. I'm taking Jordan Tyson. The only thing that's concerned, The Chiefs taking Tyson is a lot different in my mind with a quarterback coming off the injury and the age and Kelsey and all that stuff than it is Miami that's bringing in a lot of babies to develop and build a family, right? But Tyson, he's 6 '2", he's 203 pounds. Yes, he missed one out of every three games if you go back and look at it through his four-year career at Colorado and Arizona State. but like 4.63 yards per route run versus man his route running skills are exceptional he's twitched he's flexible he's sudden um Stefan Diggs is kind of what I see if I were to have to give a an NFL comp and yes like there's like I'm not overly worried about the toughness thing like I get it it's not like strength through catch um I there were plenty of notes I jotted down as I went through all of his tape.

Read the full transcript

30:29Yeah, he's kind of, the sideline's a friend of his sometimes. The run after catch isn't great, but just talking about a receiver that I can count on to separate, get open, make plays, Tyson's the guy. If I, not to money more to record it myself, if I had put in Ioane, would you have seriously considered that as an alternative for Miami? I would have. You still would have gone Tyson? I would have. Oof. You know what? I didn't give you that choice. True to my board, I go, you want it. Yeah, no, I was just looking at it. I was like, ooh, that would have been. I wanted to hear you compare those two receivers, but I was like, ooh, that would have been hard for me to pass up.

31:09I feel like that's not a name I'm hearing there, and I'm asking increasingly, why not? Because especially that offense, if they're going to really run the football, you know, with Willis and A-chan, it just, yeah. All right. Dallas Cowboys have had their trade request denied, but guess what? but Ruben Bain Jr. is here. Anyways, I think 12. I struggle to find something that I think would be comparable, candidly. I'll put in Jermon McCoy, who's a cornerback I love, as an alternative. He's my next defensive player. I don't really have – we've gone through. Right at this point, a lot of them have already fallen, but I feel like this is a pretty easy one for Dallas.

31:49Yeah, this would be Ruben Bain. Let's just bring in the best defensive player. I think he'd fit well. I think, yeah, they'd be thrilled to get, if they can't make a move to go up and to get a Sonny Styles or even a Caleb Downs or one of those top two edge rushers, Reese and Bailey, I would think that they would be thrilled if they get quote unquote stuck at 12 to get Reuben Bain. All right, let's go two pass catchers for the Rams at 13. Mekhi Lemon, USC receiver we've talked about, or let's throw in Kenyon Sadiq for the first time, the tight end out of Oregon. Yeah, I like Sadiq a lot, and I see the explosiveness.

32:33To me, this isn't really that much of a debate, especially when you factor in Sean McVay's offense and what he's looking for, and Mekhi Lemon is just tailor-made. I mean, the toughness, the ability. Like, yeah, he's a 4 '5 guy. But so is Devante. So is Puka. He's not as big. But the thing that I saw on tape from him is like everything he did. It's like corners on rails, right? Like the body control is so exceptional. He's just everything he does is under control. The toughness, everyone points to the Iowa game. It's not solely that game. but my goodness sake, was it Illinois? Go watch the four.

33:16If you were trying to figure out real quickly who Mekhi Lemon is, go watch the fourth quarter of Illinois. I don't think I can remember a wide receiver almost single-handedly beating a team in a comeback fashion like that. So what he was able to do in those two games alone showed me a lot about Mekhi Lemon. And I get it, his heels touch when he runs a 40 and he doesn't run all that fast and he's not the tallest guy at 5 '11 and 1 '8", some an inch and 192 pounds, but he averaged 14.6 yards per catch, and he's just a difference maker. Sadiq versus Ioane is a common Ravens debate or a common set of names.

33:58I'm not going to put Sadiq here. I'm going to make a pitch for Jermon McCoy as the Ioane alternative because I'm looking at this Ravens depth chart and I don't think people are talking enough about corner opposite Nate Wiggins it's Chito Uzi a they ran out of cornerbacks last year Marlon Humphrey is getting up in the years and this is a team where the secondary is the identity the strength and McCoy is a guy that I think has I think he would be tremendous there um however Ioane is Ioane and then he is obvious yeah I mean there's some so we pick again at 45 right and and And there are three really good guards.

34:42I'm worried if I'm Eric DaCosta, where's the run going to happen at that spot? Yeah. And while the other three, Emmanuel Pregnant from Oregon, Chase Besantis from Texas A &M, and Keelan Rutledge from Georgia Tech, they're all really good. There's only one Venga you want. Like talking to people in the league, and I've said for a while, I guess I was on an earlier show today. I think if you were just to throw out positions, he's up there in the top six or seven elite players or top-tier players in this draft. So I'm going Ioane here. We've got to be able to run the football. We've got to be able to protect our quarterback, and he gives us the best chance.

35:31And there's a cornerback run that I'm kind of counting on in the second round where I can get a good corner if that's the direction we decide to go. It's hard for me to get an alternative. Tyson versus Ioane was an interesting debate that came up earlier with the Ravens, but every time he's there, it's just... Yeah. It fits, right? It does. It's the need. You can block both gap and zone. He's plug and play. It's just such a no-brainer. All right, Ioane, it is. The Bucs, all right, I want to give a different choice from what I did last time. Both players are still available. I don't know. I won't do McCoy.

36:06It sounds like you're not as high on him as me. Let's do two pass rushers. I am. I am. I just worry about the medical stuff. It's fine. It's fine. Sadiq could be an option here, of course. But I want to give you a choice between... Actually, you know what? I'm not going to put Mesut. So last time I was Mesut over to Sadiq. I'm going to give you Sadiq versus Falk, the Auburn pass rusher here. Hmm. Make it a little different. I want Mesidor, but you won't allow me to have him.

36:42We blitz a lot, like 30-plus percent of the time. I know we need an edge rusher bad. When do we pick again? Tampa Bay, second round, 46. Lawrence will be gone. Howell could be there. To be clear, you would take Mesidor here over Falk. I would, especially for this scheme, what they're looking. Yeah. The timeline. They need a guy who can get there immediately. Right. Right. All right. We'll do it. All right. I'll give you Mesidor. You would take Mesidor over both Sadiq and Flock, to be clear. I would. I would. Okay. It's fine. It's fine. Thanks. You're easy to work with, Mina. It's a good pick. I don't know.

37:25I'm trying to make it interesting for Bucks fans to introduce some new options. But, yeah, this is an interesting one with Sadiq, right? because he starts dropping a little bit and then you start running out of obvious spots. You know, it's just kind of a, we'll see. Well, all right, the final pick of the first half is the Jets. And of course, they took Arbel Reese, the top second pick. Yep. I'm not going to go pass rusher here. You know what? No, I'm not going to, this indeed doesn't make sense. Okay. And the receivers, we already have, So at this point, Lemon, Tate, and Tyson are the three receivers who are gone.

38:05Let's throw one of my favorite receivers. This is why there are rumors that they could try to move up for a receiver because there's six receivers that could go in the first, but they're tiered. But I like the second tier of receivers. I do too. And I'm going to give you a choice between two of them. Screw it. McCoy would be another good alternative here. but I want to hear you talk about whether or not between these two receivers one is one of my favorite prospects Casey Concepcion the other is Omar Cooper Jr. out of Indiana very different receivers very different skill sets the Jets already have a one which kind of makes this interesting right because they're not building from scratch which of those two receivers were your take if you were them i wish i knew who my quarterback was um

38:59i think i'm actually gonna go with conception here yes my guy

39:08no no no i mean he's just a tick below six foot he's 196 pounds um i i the more i watched his tape the more i'm like can you imagine that production if we had a quarterback with all due respect that was you know some of the guys were talking about next year's draft or mendoza like what would his production right you gotta set the table for next year so yes but what what what would the production be if he played with mendoza as oh you mean in college in college yes yeah yeah and so like and people look at him say well he's just a slot and run it but he played 453 of 674 snaps in the perimeter the thing i love about him is like he's not like the guy you know and a lot of these run after catch guys aren't in this in this class like you got like you got zach branch in the second round who's all over the place but he's more like catching right yes and like that acceleration is something to watch on tape and then he's got this jump cut to him or like make one miss and then I'm going to run by you.

40:14And then there were so many opportunities I watched on tape where like he's able to beat the beat press and get down the field and the ball sails on him or off the... Notre Dame when he's opened the entire game and then has to literally like come back for it. I mean, he should have had like 200 yards in that game. So, yeah, I think I see some Luther Burden stuff, you know, without some of the kind of nonsense too. Like, I don't know. I think he's got a chance to be a damn good player. I mean, sorry, just move ahead, though. The Jets, imagine being the young quarterback, your Dante Moore, whatever, and walking into Garrett Wilson, Concepcion, it's a good offensive line.

40:53Things are feeling pretty good. Yeah, so I would love that, but I love him. Okay, that's it for the first half of the second round. Let's come back and hit the, or the first half of the first round, pardon me, the Detroit Lions. Okay, we're back. Pick 17. The Lions are thrilled because there really wasn't a run on tackles. Maybe I should have given you some as options earlier, but at this point, only Mauanoa and Fano are off the board. And then we have Ioane, of course, which means the clients have some pretty nice choices. At a very obvious position of need. They could go past Russia here. Mezdor is interesting, but if I'm them, I'm taking one of the tackles. The two choices I'm going to give you are Caden Proctor out of Alabama and Monroe Freeling out of Georgia. I was hoping you were going to say Blake Miller, but this makes it harder, so it's better.

44:41I'm going to take Caden Proctor because I think – Really? Over Freeling? Okay. Yeah. He's so Lions-y, Proctor is. he is lionsy and maybe that's that's affecting my judgment the most lionsy of all of them is blake miller 54 starts and all the grit um i hope the culture there keeps him closer to 350 than 390 that's the whole deal it's the whole deal with him at 390 he's he's not a dancing bear he's not you know is he's sluggish he's lunging the tape doesn't look great when he's closer to 350 you can see oh this guy's like a special athlete for that size this guy when like he he had a record 32 and a half inch vertical the lower body explosion is the most by any player in the history of the combine 350 plus now there's not a ton of 350 plus players jumping verticals but But I don't know.

45:46I just, I see it. You've got all the traits there. Six foot seven. I just, yeah, I would take a chance on him. And like worst case, we move him into guard, but I think he's going to hold up it. And we're probably going to have to kick Panay over as has been kind of indicated. But I think, yeah, I think this would be a good fit. All right. The Minnesota Vikings are next on the board. one of the most common picks associated with them. Dylan Thienemann is an option, the safety out of Oregon. But Jermon McCoy is still available. And that would all, I don't see it talked about, but I personally think it's a direction that they should consider going in.

46:27So would you take Thienemann or McCoy, the cornerback out of Tennessee, if you were the Vikings? This is where I think I'd take McCoy. I think, again, if the medical, like we're cleared at this point, I don't know that Thienemann is as great a fit as everyone seems to think for the role that they're talking about with Harrison Smith. I like Thienemann a lot. I think McCoy, at this point, again, medical cleared, if he's the player that I see on tape from 2024, then he's a special talent. He's tough. He's a press man. he can turn and run he's got twitch he's got fluid like oily hips he's got all of it so i'm going to take a chance on that i'll be honest with you had you thrown a wide receiver into the mix here i probably would have gone in that direction because i'm looking at ty really ty felton with his three catches last year and i just brought in kyler murray and i i need another receiver i'm i'm worried and i and i get it they're confident and felt but like i i if one of those if you threw in one of those guys i would strongly consider yeah interesting you don't hear that I talked about a lot with Minnesota.

47:39All right, pick 19. I like this choice because the Panthers could go in a bunch of different directions. I'm going to give you two choices on both sides of the ball. One is Kenyon City, tight end out of Oregon. They got Tom Tremble, but could undoubtedly improve there. And then I'm going to go with another pass rusher. Let's do Keldrick Falk out of Auburn. They signed Jalen Phillips, but still, and I know they drafted some pass rushers last year. I still think they could add to that. That makes it annoyingly difficult. I'm taking Sadiq because I've got a young quarterback and I need more weapons.

48:13Only the Jets and Buccaneers had fewer receiving yards from the tight ends of the Panthers last year. It was 638, I think it was. And for a younger quarterback who's starting to come into his own a little bit, it felt like even in the playoff game, down the seams, middle of the field, someone you can you flex him out he has some toughness in the run game i i think sadiq's the right the right call here for dan morgan dallas cowboys are next to 20 as a reminder they took reuben bain jr um i would like you to choose between the two safeties because i want to hear you talk about them who are left of course downs is gone fiendman out of oregon versus emmanuel mcneil warren out of toledo yeah emmanuel mcneil warren is like 6-3-2-12 or whatever the numbers were he's he's physical I like his ball skills um he was fun to watch on tape like I I think like people are like well he's not a great tackle like the the peanut punch it's like a like a torpedo when he gets there and you just you don't know how he's going to strike you sometimes he's going to lasso you sometimes he's going to like cut your knees off sometimes he's going to come high and punch at you and so I I think he's just going to be a really good football player but thenaman's a different level they're different players like thenaman played very different players thenaman played free as a freshman right at uh purdue oregon it was more kind of in in and around the box nickel um you know can cover a little can cover speed i i think thenaman's the the play here i would say he's definitely the safer player based on yes so um I mean, as a Cowboys fan, you're feeling pretty good coming out of this with two guys you can start.

50:00I would say that's the interesting thing about these picks, right? Bain Jr. and Thienemann are both kind of higher floor players, and maybe that's what you need if you're Dallas. You guys can come in and play immediately. So that's not so bad for them. That personnel shift has been wild if you look at what they are now versus like eight months ago, you know? Totally new defense. All right, 21, the Pittsburgh Steelers. I want to do something different because I keep going. offensive line here. They're such a funny team, Todd, because they really don't have a lot of needs, right? Like when you look at their roster.

50:34They do, but they don't. I was looking at it yesterday. They do, like, there's like five to seven different spots where, like, I'd like to see either an upgrade or some depth. But, yeah, you're right. They don't have one where it's like we can't line up and play right now. Well, I want to hear – so I haven't been giving people this choice, but I want to hear you take this choice. I think you might be higher on him than some of the other folks I've done this with Ty Simpson here 21. He's this is your option. You're afraid of the Cardinals trading back in after you. You're not going to get another crack at him later versus Monroe Freeling tackle out of Georgia.

51:10I'm taking, I'm taking Freeling. I'm taking Freeling. I want to like, I think the offensive, like I think honestly guard is, is kind of the bigger need, but i feel like pittsburgh does a good job of staying out ahead right like free agency what's 2027 look like the ufa market um let's make sure we're good really like damn good in the trenches i just if that feels more like a like a stealer's pick let's do that plus like i like aaron rogers is coming back we just announced in pittsburgh ty simpson first round quarterback like i know he's matured Aaron has from earlier in his career but like I don't know it's just it doesn't feel and and quite frankly like Ty Simpson's got a good arm and all that like I just don't know that's the division I'm dying for him to be in you know but yeah all right Chargers at 22 um I'm gonna give you an a defense's option and an offensive option okay the defensive option is Keldrick Falk definitely a position that they could address the offensive option and now I wish I had your board in front of me because I don't know who you're next.

52:20I'm going to go Pregnan from Oregon here. We know that the Chargers offensive line remains. Yeah, I'm going to go with Falk here because I think it's a good opportunity. He's one of the youngest players in the draft, just turned 21 years old. He's got the length. He fires off the ball. I see more in Falk than some people seem to see in him. I think he's a guy that can win with power on the edge, hasn't learned totally how to do it. I'm not going to blame the scheme on it like some people do, but I see with craft, with time, and then to be able to work there with those edges who are masters at their craft, I think that that would be.

53:07And utilize him 20, 25, 30 snaps as a rookie, rotation, keep Mac fresh? I don't know. I think it would be a really good spot for Falk, and I think that he would provide a lot of value for them. Was Pregnant your next guard, or is it Besantis? Pregnant is my next guard, and Keelan, Rutledge, and then Besantis. But it's not a big gap between the three. All right. All right. I like Falk for the Chargers. I think that'd be a good pick. That'd be great value at 22, too, right? Yes. All right. Eagles are next. Let's do an offensive tackle battle here. Okay. You know, Lane Johnson, come back. Yeah, if there's one that's worth taking, they're taking one.

53:47They need a successor. The choices are Blake Miller, who you mentioned, out of Clemson, or Max Sianichor, the developing, but maybe the ceiling is very high, right tackle out of ASU, which would make sense for Philadelphia, given their timeline. It would. It would. Stout coming back? that's that's the other wild card in all of this right like what's that development system going to look like what qualities are they looking for i mean you know it's right mystery i'm gonna you know what i'm going with blake miller i just he may never be elite elite but my gosh is he just an app like a lot of people i talk to like best character in the draft if you can if you can you know contextualize that um talk to kevin kelly like their gm who used to be a long time personnel guy with the chargers and he's never steered me wrong and like it's not just like oh we really like him it's like i don't think people quite understand with this guy plus you've got this frame that's outrageous like um 6 '6 317 he's the only one it seems like who's got like real legit nfl arms 34 and a half inch arms which probably means they're close to 35 we're in a 504 yeah i i think blake miller comes in and yeah if even if it's year two or you can the nice part is you can move them around and they're going to need, they're probably going to need some, some, it's not going to be the same starting five all year is going to be my guess.

Cleveland Browns, remember, turned down a trade earlier, so they did stuck and took Maui Noah. Yep. They are setting the table for next year's quarterback. And towards that goal, want to take a wide receiver here at 24. I'm going to give you a choice of two wide receivers. Omar Cooper Jr. out of Indiana versus Denzel Boston, the big-bodied X receiver out of Washington. I'm going to take Omar Cooper. I'm just a reliable target. It might be a rookie in 2027.

57:16It's a guy that can create after the catch, physical, tough, fits that. I mean, they both are. Denzel Boston is too. I like Denzel Boston a little bit more than people I talk to in the league, but some people in the league are even higher than I am. So he's been kind of polarizing with the conversations I'm having. But Omar Cooper, I think Cleveland needs safe, consistent. I would like that for their offense. All right. I like this choice that I'm going to give you for the Chicago Bears at 25. Okay. Two players, neither of whom we've talked about, which actually happens a lot with the Bears because, I don't know, just their needs don't really like align with everyone else.

58:00One is going to be Caden McDonald, the defensive tackle out of Ohio state, obviously an area of need for them. This was a defense that was like 29th against the run last year. And we all know what Caden McDonald's being drafted to do. Yes. The other option is a player that I like a lot. The more I watched TJ Parker, the edge out of Clemson, another obvious area of need for Chicago, that pass rush. Very similar grades on them. So this is this on it. Like I actually think it's identical grades. I like Caden McDonald a lot. I actually think there's a little bit more in that tank as a pass rusher.

58:38What I like about him is most of the time, the like zero techniques, the nose tackle or space eaters. This dude was like fourth or fifth on that defense in tackles. Like he finishes. With all that said, like Dennis Allen, I think he's going to be more like 300, 310 pound defensive tackles. It's so important to have, to have edge guys. And with length, he fits Parker fits the prototype, right? Like long arms, power straight back. Like I just, I think that he'd be a really good fit. When you think about like what the saints had for years at edge, I think Parker would kind of fit that mold. I would take Parker there.

59:19All right. The bears get TJ Parker. That is a good point about Dennis Allen, the types of pass rushes he likes i yeah because i i saw some folks mocking howl to them and i was like yeah do not see that um all right the bills will also consider kata mcdonald right oh yes very much open uh i will oh you know what no mcneil warren let's throw in mcneil warren into the mix because safety is certainly a position they could address it well as well

59:52you might've gotten me if you threw Denzel Boston in there. Um, I wouldn't, you don't think they would be too spooked off of him because the Coleman, even though I think he's, I hear you. I hate that comp. And I have literally sat at this desk with, with this keyboard in front of me and like started to type in and like, I don't know, you know, um, but it's Caden McDonald. I just think like for all the reasons I just said about him. Yeah. I think that he would very bad run defense last year. Yes. and he would single-handedly provide a significant upgrade. Yeah, Denzel Boston, he starts falling, man.

1:00:30He's one where the A.J. Brown trade, I feel like, could potentially affect what goes, you know, if that were to happen and maybe one of those teams wants to. Yep. But the San Francisco 49ers are not one of those teams. They are not going to consider Denzel Boston. at 27. I am going to give you a choice between, I keep going tackle for them, and I want to give you another choice. There's a player that I love for them, but I don't think I'm going to do that. I think they go like edge, safety, tackle. I know. I'm looking at the, you know what? Let's throw in McNeil-Morin then. I haven't actually considered them for him, but as you say that, and I look at their depth chart, It does make sense.

1:01:17The tackle I'm going to throw out is Nadia Nuchor. I'm going to mention here Caleb Lomu, who I think would make a lot of sense in that. I'm going to go with Lomu. I was hoping you would throw that out. It's a good fit, right? It's such a good fit. Like Trent Williams is what, 38, I think. He could play right away if Trent's not healthy. but this is smart business in personnel, right? Trent's not going to be around for 2027 season in San Francisco at the very least. So you got a year to bring him in and develop him. And the thing that's interesting with Lomu is Fano's going to be the earlier one.

1:01:59Typically the left tackle gets drafted before the right tackle, but both are very athletic. And Fano spent some time at left and then moved over to right, and Lomo started the last two years. I think 24 starts at left tackle. Not a lot of starts. Could have used another year in college, but this kind of gives him a year to develop and be an apprentice. And what I like about him, in addition to the obvious, like the athleticism, he's kind of a high-cut guy and all that. He gets his hands right. He's really, really good. But I think he's instinctive too. The more I watch, the more I'm like, this guy is going to get it.

1:02:36And I think a year in the league working with O-line coaches and being behind – I just think that this is the perfect place for him. Safety is a bigger need, though. Yeah, and McNeil Warren would be really – He'd be really good. He has kind of a little bit of Hufanga in his game. Yeah. That would be – And the guy pulling the trigger can probably relate to him, too, John Lynch. Oh, totally, yeah. The way – yeah. But Loma is just so handed glove to me. I just love that fit. All right. The Houston Texans are on the board. Pick 28. This is, to me, one of the harder picks to make in the draft because they don't have a lot of needs.

1:03:15This might be the best roster outside of the quarterback position in the entire league, truly. And the offensive line, right? And that's where I'm going to go. I'm going to give you Emmanuel Pregnant as an option. The other option I'm going to give you is C.J. Allen, the linebacker out of Georgia. Oh, gosh. which is maybe the one position they could get better at on defense. I'm going to go with pregnant. I like Allen. I like, I like pregnant. I don't, I honestly, I don't know that either I'm thrilled about in round one. And if you had given me like Ian, not sure. I might've taken that and kick, uh, it was Braden Smith inside to guard, but, but with those options and the draft is crazy thing, I would go pregnant to Houston and let's just, we've got to solidify that line.

1:03:58We, we David Montgomery with what he marks, let's run the football. Let's take some pressure off. And yeah, I think that would be the right choice. The Kansas city chiefs, as you remember, they held onto this pick. They traded away the seconds, but they held onto this pick and they held onto it for a reason because they wanted a ride receiver or a cornerback. And now they have some choices of some pretty good ones. Denzel Boston is still here out of Washington. So that is going to be one option for them. The other is going to be corner. And there's a few corners that I like. I'm going to go. Avion Terrell.

1:04:33the, uh, quarterback had a Clemson. So Terrell or Boston for the chiefs, who, as we remember already took David Bailey. Yeah. Even if you had given me Chris Johnson or Colton hood, I, I still would have gone Denzel Boston. I just like to, to get out of this round with an edge of that caliber. Bailey in Boston. And you feeling better about your trade now? Now that you're thinking about my God, I am. I am. Yes, I am. I feel good now. We'll go get a corner later. Spags can scheme them up. that's right if there's one position of the all the needs that i feel the best about passing on i mean that would be so sick for kansas city yes commenters are furious they hate it um okay oh i forgot to hit pregnant let me hit that all right pick 30 the miami dolphins

1:05:24all right um Let's see. So the Dolphins earlier took Jordan Tyson. Feeling pretty good about that. They're looking at the Seahawks picking at 32 and they're thinking and some of the other teams thinking corner might be a good direction to go in here. I'm going to give you a choice between Terrell, who I mentioned, and Chris Johnson out of San Diego State, who is as a Seahawks fan, the one that I am praying falls to them because I love him. yeah i knew there was a reason you're keeping him on the board i'm taking chris johnson i i think i think he's the third best corner on the board like the the four four like helped helped a little and solidified but even before his like his his ability to play man and zone his body control his instincts the ball in the air um he's an nfl corner and and i i think that we kind of slept on him not we i think then like nationally it's yeah san diego state and nila or how he's just he's that good i mean i it took me a while to get to him for i guess obvious reasons and then i was the tape is so clean the only question i have is uh the lack of opponents does that concern you at all going first round because a lot of these other corners are more battle tested and we've seen them go up against the high-end competition i mean it's it's something i mean every every player we've got something right but i and he was he was a little up and down at the senior bowl so but i just i i trust in his his process like he just he attacks it the right way i just i believe in chris johnson he would be such a good seahawk think about that defense he would like their corners okay anyways all right 31 okay now the phone is ringing one choice i actually like this choice because i do think it's something you have to consider if you're new england instead of trading down Max Sianichor out of ASU right tackle doesn't have to play immediately you got a year left with Morgan Moses you can develop him yep the need it's all there but the Arizona Cardinals are on the phone and uh this is not a big draft move right they're they're jumping into the first to get Ty Simpson in this exercise but they're not having to give up a ton to do so um and they gained I haven't I won't I'm not going to tell you if it's the Chiefs pick or their pick I know that should be part of consideration but honestly that's just too much to juggle in my head right now but the Cardinals do have that extra draft ammunition that we talked about with the seconds right they're not offering you a second to go from 34 to 31 they are offering you let's say a third this year so if you're is that enough it's not far a third this year and a fourth next year I don't know.

1:08:08So let's just throw in a little sweetener. So I'm going for 31 to 34. Seattle won't take. Right. Everyone's going to call the Jets. The Jets won't take a tag. So that tag, Ian Atchor is going 33.

1:08:29So do you feel comfortable dropping that? We'll say a third. A third is a lot. Yeah, a third is a lot. Yeah. A lot. No, that's a sweet deal. How much do you like Iannature, I guess, is the question.

1:08:46And then I'm out. There's no tackles. Yeah. I'm looking at my board, and it's a jump now.

1:08:57This ended up being a harder decision. I'm taking Iannature. I have to protect. I have to protect Drake May, and this gives me a long-term plan. Okay. Yeah, I have to. It's hard. I'm a big believer in move back, extra compensation. But in this case, these circumstances, with the shelf dropping off a whole round before you feel great about taking another tackle, and that tackle you're not psyched to project as a starter, I'm going to take Ianacho here. Okay. That's a tough one. That ended up being a better debate than I thought. All right. The Seattle Seahawks are the final pick. They're devastated that Munich I'm favorite, Chris Johnson, is gone.

1:09:45But they are still going to consider a corner. And then not Terrell. We're going to put Colton Hood up almost out of Tennessee. The other option is going to be Malachi Lawrence, who I have not introduced as an option now, but also I think is in a position that they could address here out of UCF, the pass rusher. I'm going to take Colton Hood. I think schematically he is physical, still developing when the ball's in the air a little bit, but I think he's a good all-around player. I really do. Malachi Lawrence is fascinating. I really like him. I love him as a pass rusher. I think he's okay versus the run.

1:10:26I think he plays hard. I don't know what people are talking about when they say that. and his combine workout was sensational. I mean, he's different talent-wise, but I think Colton Hood is the right play for Seattle there and just stick with value and Schneider will. We are done. Is there anyone you are shocked fell out of the first round? Oh, gosh. I'd have to... I mean, not like, I guess, Cassius Howell, Terrell. That wouldn't shock me. All of the predictable receivers went... Um, I, every time I've done this, the answer is no, Todd, which I think is a reflection. No, it's a reflection on you and managing it.

1:11:09No, there's not a single person. I mean, we even got Caden McDonald in there. Literally, I think all 30, 31 of 32 went and Ty Simpson was attempted to be traded up for of my top 32. And yeah, yeah, yeah. I guess that would be the big surprise, right? If Tyson, that would be the, yeah. Yeah, I mean, based off of recent intel, but nothing that I feel that I'm ready to go screaming from the mountaintops about. But yeah, I think that's where he belongs. It's going to be late first or early second, and you're hoping to overcome some of the outlier stuff, but the tape is so damn good for the first nine games.

1:11:45If he's in the right system, Ty Simpson's got a chance to be a good starter in the league. I like all the teams that had two picks. Like when we talked about the Chiefs with Bailey and Boston, which is insane now that I say it out loud. and then like the Browns walking out with Mauinoa and Cooper Jr. Like that's. Yeah. You feel good about it. Pretty nice. All right. Well, this was a ton of fun. Thank you so much for doing this with me. I always enjoy it.
