Monaco Radio has a new podcast out. It's called Monaco Meats. In the show, Monaco editors, including myself, will be interviewing people leading the field in their industries from business to fashion and, of course, music, cinema and so on. If it's interesting, it will be on Monaco Meats. We have a few episodes out already. So just to give you a taster, for example, I had the pleasure to speak with the siblings behind France's oldest shirt maker, Charvet. Pink and purple are traditionally colors which are more important at Charvet than anywhere else.
0:54Our father used to tell us the story that a little while after he had acquired Charvet, he was informed that an important customer, Mr. Rockefeller, was here selecting some fabrics. And of course he went to say hello and introduce himself. And then he noticed that day Mr. Rockefeller was selecting almost only pink fabrics. And he said, are you sure, Mr. Rockefeller, that pink is the right color for me? And the gentleman told him, if it's not for me, then for who is it? Most of our customers seem to like the quiet and yet always fresh twist, change, freshness brought by pink or light purples. Or what about the cool sonic sounds of Palestinian-Italian pop star Tara?
1:57Well, first of all, I'm very happy that people are discovering this name, because I started this name in like 2023. So at first, it was something that not many people believed in, like, it was kind of strange for people to hear this thing. But I think that it represents perfectly all of my influences growing up because I grew up on Arab music I grew up on Arabic language I grew up as well on R &B music it's 100 % an inspiration but at the same time in this new space like this third space that I called Arab &B I tried to create something even more different like not just a blend of the two but actually something that it's a mix perfect mix well make Make sure now to go and subscribe to that show.
2:42Monaco Meets is available on monaco.com, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. I'm Fernando Augusto Pacheco. Thank you for listening.
