In short
The No Contest Wrestling Podcast episode discusses recent WWE and AAA/Triple A developments, plus AEW “tribute shows” and broader wrestling momentum. Hosts O’Shea Jackson Jr., Shinshay Nakamura, and TJ Jefferson react to Sammy Zayn regaining the Undisputed WWE Championship from Punk and Charles Montgomery, with Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae’s interference helping. They debate whether “Undisputed” still makes sense after Roman Reigns unified titles and whether Sammy’s reign could be short again (7–9 day reign talk). They highlight Triplemania 34/AAA Mexico City moments: Chad Gable’s masked persona “El Grande Americano” finally becoming Triple R Mega Champion, praised for Spanish promos and fan embrace; Rey Mysterio’s neck-brace return after a rough Omos match; and La Catalina defeating Flammer to win the Reina de Reinas title after a long reign. They also note Roxanne’s big win and upcoming contender implications, plus a chaotic Stephanie Vaquer house-show title regain over Liv Morgan in Chile with Becky Lynch as special guest referee. Notable examples include Roman vs Penta (Mexico City), Judgment Day interference, and multiple championship changes at house shows.

0:35O'Shea:ladies and gentlemen welcome to another wednesday episode of the no contest wrestling podcast i am the heel that you love to hate o'shea jackson jr okay a petty guerrero and still shinshay nakamura you see him you see yow hey yo it's me it's me it's the t-double-o the j-i-double-g TJ Jefferson and what's up man? It was so it has been so much damn wrestling. A lot of wrestling lately. It has been so much damn wrestling from the last episode to this episode. Episode 102. 102. We have titles changing hands. We have heartstrings being pulled. Tear jerking moments if you will. and uh we also have my your our tribal chief demanding respect from the IWC and they still won't give it to him but we got to start off on what happened on Friday a little shocker to me to most of us Sammy Zane and new and new justice was served for Sammy I guess Ain't that something.
1:57Sammy shook up the world with the help of shenanigans. Non-planking Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae and Kevin Owens defeats Charles Montgomery Punk, and he regains the undisputed WWE championship.
2:12O'Shea:You better give Johnny that match, boy. I guess. He looked at you kind of crazy. Well, I mean, look, Johnny helped out. Yeah. But yeah, man, I think this was a bit of a surprise because you and I, we talked, we kind of assumed, and I guess that was crazy for us to assume that maybe Punk would take this the whole way to Mania, but that is a long time. A long time. What, eight months? Yeah. We were mad when Sammy only had nine days with the belt. So I can't now turn around and be mad that he regained it, can I? No, I don't think I can. I don't think we should. God gave you free will. I can. Like Michelle Pfeiffer said, you could choose to not get on that bus.
2:49O'Shea:Not the point. I don't think that we can get so upset because we were a little bit, you know, down on the fact that Sammy only held the belt for such a short time. Now he's got it back, so let's just see where this goes, because there are opportunities to make some good matches here. He and Kevin Owens, those two will always eat, but now we got Johnny Gargano, who it's pointless of a thing that as I can remember in years, to have this man as talented as Johnny Gargano is for months and months and months and months and months and months, just simply laying on his face, planking and doing nothing with him.
3:25Unless there was an injury that we didn't know about, it made no sense for a wrestler of his skill level to be doing nothing. So at least he's back in the fold a little bit. And we like wrestling matches. You're going to get, if we get it, a great wrestling match between these two. So there's a lot of options there for Sammy.
3:42O'Shea:Yeah, you know, Johnny Gargano and, you know, Tommaso Ciampa. You love Ciampa. Yeah, bro, I was a big Ciampa guy. His time in NXT with Goldie, you know, I still hold my title like he did in that black and gold era. And they were part of that crew that got called up prematurely to the main roster. Remember, it was like, did they just introduce Ciampa, Gargano, Aleister Black? Like, remember, they just all were, like, just in the ring, and it was like, these are the new guys. And it's just, you know, we see what can happen when you let things happen organically, i.e. Javon and Trick and Oba. So, you know, they were part of that crew that kind of was thrown into the main roster and trying to figure out a way to fit them in.
4:38O'Shea:And, you know, once Triple H took over, you kind of felt like, okay, the NXT people are going to be able to get that push that we were all waiting for. And it just never happened for Gargano and Ciampa. And, you know, kudos to Ciampa for betting on himself and, you know, going elsewhere. But also kudos to Johnny for staying the course because now it finally looks like he's about to get his shine. It was a Johnny Lucha chant in Mexico. Johnny Lucha. It is definitely going to be a good match. And I know there's got to be a part of him that feels like, oh, I got to put it on. I got to put it on. They're giving me the ball.
5:24O'Shea:And I got to show them what I can do. Do you feel that Sammy should get a long reign this time? Because part of me is like, you know, that would be fair. but what's fair in wrestling? And another part of me is like, that championship has now gotten into open season again. Like any match that Sammy's really in, it's not really far-fetched to think like, this could be it. And that's pretty cool though. Yeah, that nine days? Not for Sammy, but for a wrestling fan. Yeah, yeah. Those nine days from the first reign makes you look at every match now like, this could be it. You know, this could be it.
6:05O'Shea:So it makes it enticing. As a viewer, yeah, Sammy, bro, you're going to be watching your back constantly. Right. Which apparently you do already. You just feel like he's just treated unfairly all the time. The proof is in the pudding. Bro, you know how many titles he done had? He's had a lot. Not the big boy. Not the big boy, but it would be like, I wouldn't even put it past him. Yeah, right. You know where, for him to lose this on the next, okay, wait a minute, Friday, right? Friday. Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. That's seven days. If they take this championship off this man after we were mad after a nine-day rain, how are you going to feel if it was a seven?
6:46Like Tony Braxton, seven whole days, not a word from you. Want to be on my own. Deep voice, deep voice. Seven whole days. It could happen. It could happen. It bet not happen. I hope we don't get knocked for that because I love Tony Braxton. I hope she sees that as the tribute that it was meant to be. But look, Stranger has happened, and would it surprise you? Like, oh, you thought nine was short? How about seven? Yeah, how about that? Man, you lucky you made it to the car.
7:18O'Shea:I don't think they'll do that. But there's something else that me and you had our discussions about. So we done with this? No, not necessarily. We're still on it. he is the undisputed why? you have a great argument there are two world championships we understand that it became undisputed when like you said Roman unified him but now we have a world champion so undisputed is not supposed to be there no more universal universal got put to bed it's just to be WWE world champion so you're the WWE champion and that one's the world champion I mean, like the old school days. The old school days. Yeah, because undisputed makes no sense.
8:01O'Shea:There's a bit of a dispute. There's a bit. Yeah, there is a bit of a dispute. And, you know, I felt like— Can I interrupt you? But, like, your argument to me this week about this, at first I was, like, going to disagree with you, but you were so passionate about it. I was like, all right, yeah, you do that. I mean, because, dude, because what you guys are— I don't know if we talked about it, but I'm in the Fantasy Football League with TJ, and in this league Rich Eisen has just made it an all-star game.
8:36In this league just happens to be For anyone that didn't see that was a genuine spit take. Because I know where this is going to go. In this league In this league
8:48O'Shea:just happens to be Seth freaking Rollins, right? So I see that Sammy wins the title. And I'm like, hmm, Sammy Zane just won what I call the universal title. That makes him tie Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Sammy Zane is tied with universal championships with Seth Rollins. Seth, how do you feel about that? And, of course, he sends a hilarious ice cube gif. Good to see you as always, Dad. But yeah, TJ saw that and was like, Universal. That's not what that's called at all. I didn't want to call you out on the group chat for everybody. It would have been a whole episode of NCW in that group chat. Because I was like, this is embarrassing.
9:39How are you going to tell me?
9:40O'Shea:I mean, like, dude, it is the same, bro. Undisputed makes no sense. Am I wrong? I mean, yeah, he is. Come on, man. They need to switch that up, bro. The Undisputed is a tongue twister anyway. Yeah, bro. Undisputed. You know, stop it. As soon as Cody won it off Roman, it should have not been Undisputed anymore. As soon as he won it. Well, the second they introduced the new world title. Yeah, but who cares? When Roman got it, it was different, man. And he had Paul Heyman carrying the other two. And then he had the girl just walking out there with three titles. How many days was that? 1 ,000. 316 days.
10:24God damn. This dude has to look up his daughter's birthday, but he knows how many days Roman reigns. Oh, man. I'm just joking about that.
10:32O'Shea:Yeah, man. August 4th is easy. But yeah, man. I'm still mad at WWE for not doing Roman 1-3-16 shirts, but I'll make one. I didn't even think about that. Bro, that would have been hard. How did I never even think about that? Bro, man. They dropped the ball. I'm going to make one, and then they're going to be mad at me and I'm going to get a cease and desist. By the way, my Bailey shirt worked. Becky Lynch saw it. Becky was so cool. When she start going on on Bailey Hogan. Bailey Hogan. Oh, my God. So good. Becky, you know, I know this was two episodes ago, but that was a lot of fun. Like I said, we met her in Anaheim.
11:17I think it was the first time we really met her. and I walked away after like a five-minute interaction with her going, either she's the best actress on the planet Earth or she is literally one of the nicest people. Man, what a treat. And I know she can act a little bit. I've seen her, but I think it's a really –
11:31O'Shea:Shout out to the Marine Six. She's just truly like a funny, dope person, man. Yeah. That was a lot of fun. But, yeah, she definitely noticed that you had a Bailey shirt and then kind of mocked you because you didn't really buy one to put any merch money in her pocket. You made it – Hold on now. I already talked about getting Lodestone in 2K. My God. What more can you do? Well, man, N-plus was a spur-of-the-moment thing. I was like, I'm going to be on camera. There's questions about Bayley. I couldn't go. I'm sorry. They weren't selling a shirt at the event. She was in the air. But Bayley's back, so we ain't going to worry about her.
12:05O'Shea:Bayley's back, man. Even though, I got to admit, I did fantasy book a lot of stuff when people thought Bayley might take her ball. I was like, there's a lot of matches I'd like to see in some other places, but we ain't going to get those. 13:30O'Shea:They will even install them for free at O 'Reilly Auto Parts. God, I love Bailey. Anyway, what else went down, brother? We saw, oh, finally, the prophecy has finally come true. El Grande Americano is the triple R mega champion. And from where that began to where it is now is like, it's just the ultimate, like, this is why you just got to just watch. Right. Just watch. Just watch it. Watch what happens. When you think about, you know, Chad Gable when he, by the way, we're not letting anything out of the bag because of the mask versus mask match earlier this year. We found out that that was Chad Gable.
14:22O'Shea:I was stunned. I got to be honest with you. You know, I had a list of people who I thought it was when he was revealed to be Chad Gable. Call me shocked. I was like, yo, you pulled the wool over my eyes, people. You really did. So Chad Gable, when that thing first popped off, and like the Gulf of America, which I still think is funny. See, I hated it. I still thought that was kind of funny. I hated everything about it. It was kind of funny. But yeah, what really felt like a, you know, poking fun at Lucha Libre, and it didn't really, it felt like people in the writer's chair missing the mark. It's this thing, laughing with someone and laughing at someone.
15:05O'Shea:Yeah. You know, and it kind of felt like this was a laugh at. And then, like, if it was like, if he would have went out there and was, you know, getting his ass whooped, okay, then you're making yourself the joke. But he was going out there beating Luchador's, like, you know. Well, remember, his goal was to learn about the way of Luchador. You know? And then, yeah, just the new iteration of El Grande Americano and him coming out and just automatically being – once he started speaking Spanish, it was over, bro. Yeah. And I remember when Dom showed up in Triple R. Triple R. Remember, he was like – I think he had a hoodie on, and people didn't know what he was.
15:51O'Shea:And then when he unveiled that, it was Dom under there, and he had just won the Intercontinental Championship too, by the way. We were like, dude, they treated Dom like he was a member of the Beatles. like it was like insane and then for the new iteration of el grande americano where it was like bro he has that he has the the city in the palm of his hand uh there's literally a mural of him in mexico city and under it in spanish it says uh mexican is born whenever the hell they want oh really yeah like dude like this dude is the man all right and for the two of them to finally go at it in that match it was just like WWE has to feel like their partnership with AAA has been a home run just knocked it out the park and Taker being down there running things Taker and Rey insane first of all Rey Mysterio that dude could have anything he wants over there the way like anywhere in the world so appreciated and it It just felt so, these last couple of nights of WWE being in Mexico, like, it just felt so damn good.
17:04O'Shea:Yeah, it was a lot of fun, man. I honestly think this past Raw, it's probably one of the best episodes of Raw I've seen, and I couldn't even put a number on it. Yeah, and we'll get to that. Yeah, but just El Grande Americano finally reaching the prophecy, and is your Triple R mega champion? Yeah, you know, the legend of El Grande Americano is, you know, like the legend of Paul Bunyan or any type of great legends that you had to be there to see. Yeah. You know, but yeah, it was a, it was a situation. There was a character that shouldn't have worked. Yeah. Okay. Like, and if Chad Gable doesn't get hurt, we don't get the, this El Grande Americano, because as far as I know, Chad Gable, one doesn't speak Spanish and two, that's not where his character was intent.
17:52He was supposed to be a bad guy in the OG, El Grande Americano. Now, the second one came in and kind of took over where the first one left off. But it's just a case we talked about with Becky, where fans sometimes, not sure if their voices are getting heard. They got heard with Becky Lynch. The fans' voices in Mexico got heard because they embraced El Grande Americano in a way that nobody thought they would. There is no way on earth anyone involved with this storyline or these promotions could have predicted when this thing started where it would be today. And as far as, you know, El Grande Americano, the man behind the mask, still don't know who that is.
18:35But that guy, he will never be who he was before. And like, we're going to try to keep this cave, okay? Whoever he is, he will never be who he was before for the rest of his wrestling career. because this man proved to be so good. The fact that, like I said, I want to stay in CAFA, but I don't. So let me break it real quick. When did he learn Spanish? How did he know? Because this is a guy who just got a Rosetta Stone and starts speaking Spanish like a year ago. This man's Spanish has been craft and honed over years, you can tell. So it was just like he's doing something that he probably never thought.
19:13He probably thought maybe I'll go cut a promo in Spanish at some point in his career. but obviously he never knew that his career would be where it is now, right?
19:23O'Shea:He'd be the top star in Mexico. Yeah, like I said, no one could have predicted the way this story has come, Shay, and this is honestly, to me, one of the greatest stories in maybe all of wrestling history because you took a character that shouldn't have worked, fans who should not probably have embraced the first iteration, the first, like, the first El Grande because he was against them. thank you that was the word i was looking for but they saw something in version two that they just not just embraced they squeezed the crap out of it yeah and it wasn't just an embrace it was a bear hug and you know with him with his girlfriend being you know a ring announcer like everything just started to work with this character and putting up some great matches having fans get behind you then ultimately he kind of saw the path that they were going on he and dom were going to have a clash you kind of had to know that you don't put the title on him now what are you gonna yeah real like where do we go and but man that was a fun match you know it speaks to just that uh that american bubble you know you got chad gable born in minnesota minnesota you know just as american as apple pie and you know our our our buddies across the pond you know just the European lifestyle, it's nothing for them to know several languages.
20:48O'Shea:I mean, a whole other country is about an hour away from each other. Yeah, that's true. They're a lot more... They're taught early how the world communicates. And yeah, it showed. That American school system really showed because whoever this man is, who's not Ludwig Kaiser. Who? Kaiser. Well, Gunther told us Kaiser was working in the office. Exactly. It's not. I don't know why people say that. But yeah, it showed. Bro, I'm fluent in Spanish. Yeah. Like he, not me. But like he came in, knocked it out the park, and showed appreciation. That's it. You showed appreciation. That little bit of respect goes a long way.
21:31O'Shea:Like I said, bro, laughing at and laughing with. Yeah. And you came out and spoke to the people in their native tongue. They're like, oh, hold on. And they embraced the crap. Yeah, you down? I didn't know you was down. Down, down. Yeah, so like that's all it takes. Boy, black people are, we are especially victims of this because all it takes is for us to hear that you know a little bit about the culture. We're like, okay, you coming to the cookout. Yeah, I'm right. Come on to the cookout. Yeah, like that's all it takes. And so I feel them 100%, and his entire career has completely shifted. And it's just so amazing that if you really look at it, there's no way he could have mapped this out.
22:22O'Shea:And now you're running it down there. And yeah, more power to him. El Grande, Americano. Big ups. But he really European. And then the cool thing at the end, you had the Judgment Day interference. and she had Rayo and Bravo. They come down. Liv came down. She interfered. But to have all of that and then have Ray Mysterio in the neck brace come down and make the three count. Uno. Can we talk about that bump Ray took, by the way? From Omos? Yeah. Yeah, you know, he had a match with Omos the two days prior to night one. You know, he got, of course, because Omos is 7 feet 14 inches tall. Ray got beat down.
23:01and he puts him on a medical stretcher. And Omos was like, nah, we ain't done yet.
23:07O'Shea:Yeah, man. Hey. We're not done yet. He picks him up and slams him through a tank. Bro, I had to be like, hey, you all right? And he was like, yeah, man. Oh, you hit him up? Yeah, yeah. I was like, dude, that looked a little rough. A little rough for you. He was like, oh, no, man, I'm tough, but that dude's strong as fuck. Yeah, he's big in the mug. Also, keep going with this. But yeah, I want everybody to know. I told them, you know, I know that you're tough. You're a Padres fan. Gotta be some of the toughest people on earth. Sometimes you're a jerk sometimes. What? Am I wrong? Am I wrong? Yeah, big ups to El Grande Americano.
23:43Big ups to Dirty Dom. What a great, great match. And that was fun, man. By the way, El Grande Americano, all right,
23:52O'Shea:He is playing a Mexican man from the States, but he from Europe. How do you know where he's from? I almost said something that was going to get us in trouble. How do you know? But I'm the dude playing the dude disguised as another dude. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. But yeah, shout out to him. Like I said, it was a fun. It was a great card. You mentioned Omos. If you haven't been paying attention, he's been putting in work down there, working with Dom. I love the fact that they found something for Omos to do because you simply can't. There's a lot of things you can teach. You cannot teach speed, and you cannot teach size.

24:39And Omos, we've got to meet him. First of all, amazing human. Yeah, hate taking pictures with him. Right, because he makes you look so small.
24:49O'Shea:He made me look like a damn action figure. All right, you know what? I'm going to put a note for D 'Lo to put this picture in of you, him, and Truth. Bro, I look like he's picking up his son from school. I don't like that. We'll never take a picture with him again. It's cool to see him getting some run, getting used down there. And he's coming off as a monster that he should be. He won the Battle Royal, of course. So big ups to Omos. And another big championship change within, I think it was night one, which was the Reina D. Reina's championship. Yeah, Queen of Queens. Queen of Queens. And we saw La Catalina defeated Flammer.
25:28And she had been champion for, I think, 1 ,100 days herself. So, yeah, that was a long time coming. La Catalina, they brought her in. And she was someone who came into the promotion and made it known that I'm going after the top belt with the person with the longest reign. I've wanted this my whole life. They showed pictures of her as a kid. She drew pictures of the reign of the Raiders champion. So this was like, you know, a story that was building. She wanted this title. She was bold enough to point at the champion and be like, I'm coming for you. She got busy and she got the belt, man. So congratulations to her.
26:08O'Shea:She had came on to NXT yesterday and had a little microphone battle with Kalani and Zara. Okay. And hamburger. Say less. Hamburger. But now we've got a number one contender to that. That's going to be interesting. And that is our girl, NCW's niece, Roxanne, Roxanne. Roxanne. I need hold on doc as you gather in your thoughts how many times have I looked in this mic and told people I'm not worried about Roxanne Roxanne's gonna be fine but it got to a point where I'm like look although I truly believe she's gonna be fine and we love Roxanne we are very pro Roxanne but you can't keep having her take L after L after L because people unlike us who don't see the vision who don't know how she good is how good she is, they're going to start questioning.
27:09So it was great to see her get a big win down the triple A.
27:13O'Shea:D-Lo, get the bleep ready. Alright, D-Lo. What the f*** is going on with Roxanne? Julia? Jordan Grace? What is happening? Everything that I knew and know and thought, what the shit. I need some action around here. She is the prodigy. Yes, she got this victory and yes, and yada, yada, yada. But the prodigy, all right, the whole Judgment Day thing is a plus and a little worrisome. Right now, Judgment Day is, you know, they're kind of licking their wounds, so it's going to be interesting to watch that. But like, man, I need some W's in the columns of Roxanne, of Julia, and I need to at least see Jordan Grace.
28:14Yeah, but I say it's not just a W. I need to at least see her. You work here still? She does. She's too good to be sitting on the sidelines. Bailey's
28:26O'Shea:back though. Hey, Bailey. Hey, Bailey. I wanna know Would you be my girl? So, yeah. Tam Berger. Great, great card. I had a lot of fun watching this. New Tag Team Champions. Let me give a shout out. Because I wrote this down. Yart. The Cruiserweight Championship was up for grabs, and it was Ray Phoenix against Nathan Frazier, Jack Cartwell, and Minnie McKingo. And let me tell you something. There were multiple moments during this match where I thought all four of these guys were going to win the match at one point. I was so caught up and convinced. There was two times I just knew Nathan Frazier had this thing on.
29:12My man Nathan Frazier, first of all, he goes 150 miles per hour when he probably could go about 80, but no one ever told my man to slow down. He is just a ball energy. Many of the Kingo is still in high school, dog. No way. I'm pretty sure he's still in high school. If he's not in high school, then I know he's not 20. I know he's not 19. And Jack Cartwheel, he is going to become a thing if they just let him. I'm Jack Cartwheel. Jack Cartwheel, man. But at the end, Ray got the win, held on to the belt. But, bro, that was a fun, fun match to watch. Because, like I said, multiple times.
29:51O'Shea:Yeah, it could go either way. I fell for it. Yeah. I fell for it each and every time, man. I got to hit our boys, Fraxium. We got a game, man. I got a game with them dudes. True that, true that. We got a game with them, man. And I got a game with AJ Styles, man. AJ, bro, thank you for the video, by the way, that you did for us. And we obviously had Awesome Kong on. But yeah, Kia. But yeah, I need to step it up now. I'm a terrible gaming friend right now. Yeah, you got to get into it then, baby. And then what we saw, we saw another championship switch hands. And the childhood dream has come true for Shawn Michaels.
30:36Oh, wait a minute. Sorry. And we didn't see it. We didn't see it. But it happened at a house show in Santiago, Chile. The childhood dream. Not for Shawn Michaels, because it did for him, but it also came through for friend of the show. Another one where we are unapologetically a fan of. Stephanie Bacare. congratulations to you ma 'am you regained the women's world championship by defeating Liv Morgan in a house show in her home country and I said this was it last week or the week before we were surprised that she didn't get the win before but I was like don't be surprised if you give it to her in her home country I gotta be honest though I don't know if I felt that because I knew the show wasn't gonna be televised but every now and then WWE will surprise you And that's what they did.
31:27And what a moment. They let Stephanie go to her home country and regain her title. And it was an amazing atmosphere, an amazing pop. And just you could see the emotion was just, it was real. For a sport that people don't consider real, for a sport, and I air quote because some people don't consider it that, whatever. People say, well, you know beforehand, blah, blah, blah. Whatever. The emotions are real, man. this girl who grew up in Chile who left there on her own to go to Mexico and Japan to hone her craft and understand and learn the ways of wrestling for her to be able to come back home in front of her dad and her family and win the world championship bro you gotta just applaud it
32:14O'Shea:she's thinking about all the hard work she's thinking about that first day when she decided I'm gonna be a wrestler she's thinking about telling her dad that she wanted to Yeah, like she's thinking about the little girl that's in the audience watching her win it. Like, oh, I can do that? Yeah, like all I got goosebumps right now. Like all of that goes into those emotions. And like once you know what you're looking at, it's so it makes you so happy when the company decides to, you know, do right by somebody. and you know this was something that uh probably one of the if not the best moment in her wrestling career right has to be like what she said first time yeah what she said she was gonna do she did knocked it out of the park uh of course wwe smart move it's gonna be available on the wwe club that's where we can watch it i was like i knew y 'all was gonna make me buy that some kind of way but yeah so it's available to see I definitely want to see it because we've just seen clips of it online and from the clips that people have recorded it seems so loud in there yeah man it was wild and we spoke of her before we talked last week about how Becky Lynch was just like look I'm gonna help you out cause I know you're getting jumped all you gotta do is give me a shot and Stephanie didn't seem like she wanted to you know work anything out with Becky all of a sudden Becky Lynch is now the special guest referee for this match.
33:52And if you saw what happened, and obviously this isn't spoilers because it's all over the internet, Liv hit her finisher and Becky went down for the three count and decided that she wasn't going to count three.
34:03O'Shea:And this is, because we all know Becky Lynch, referees, Jessica Carr, I'm talking to you, but if Liv didn't get in Becky's face prior and slap Becky across the face, Maybe that three-count would have went down, but you don't touch the man. Not the man. You don't touch the man, especially in the man's face. It's the moneymaker, man. Yeah, so Liv smacks Becky. Becky don't like that shit. And, yeah, she had to get the bird. One, two, F you. Nope, not going to happen. Yeah, not going to happen. And then, you know, shenanigans ensue. and can we talk about how difficult Stephanie Vcare's top rope finish is?
34:48O'Shea:Not only is she already backwards, but to get that spin off and to land the way that she has to, you got to think before you jump. It's not like, that's not automatic. Like, you have to figure out where your footing is and get that rotation off. And yeah, the roof just shot off the place. and it made me think, TJ, house shows. How many times has the title changed at house shows? Now, before, prior to the modern era, it was a bunch because they're all on televised. I remember Bob Backlund lost the WWF championship to Kevin Nash in, what, nine seconds at Madison Square Garden. Yeah, since 1992. Okay.
35:34O'Shea:It's been three times. That's it. That's it. What you got? Ric Flair to Bret Hart Bret's first title which is fucked up by the way which is Ric because Ric was on his way out yeah but just like Bret Hart's first title was untelevised that sucks like as a fan I'm like I don't think they were sold on Bret for a while you know yeah Bret had to make them show see that like he was so and then Randy Savage in Hershey Pennsylvania to Ric Flair yeah and then Bob Backlund and Diesel yeah and so Stephanie Viqueira is only the fourth time since 92. Since 92. You know, I told you, like, in our phone conversation that I thought AJ Styles did it.
36:14He did, but it wasn't the world title. It was the U.S. title over Kevin Owens. But I knew he won a belt on television. It was on televised. But yeah, man, can you just imagine, like, what... It just... The woman probably had no words, man.
36:29O'Shea:Yeah. Oh, my God. To be, like... Bro, I'm sure those were some of the best feel-good tears. Oh, yeah. And, you know, we like to do this pod. We sometimes keep in kayfabe and sometimes we don't. But here's a real moment. If you really go back and you watch the clip of the one, two, three, you can see for a split second, Liv's on her back, and she reaches up and she kind of embraces and hugs Stephanie. Yeah. Real quick. Shoulders up, by the way. Her shoulder was kind of up. Shoulders up, by the way. But Becky was hitting that through regardless. But, yeah, you could see Liv kind of reach up and hug Stephanie for a second.
37:06And that just shows, you know, that the love and the respect that all these competitors have for each other. And I'm sure Liv was thrilled for Stephanie to be able to get that win. What's her real name? Liv's real name? Oh, Gianna Dario. I'm sure Gianna was very happy. Liv probably didn't give two pieces of rat crap. No, no, no. Gianna was probably very happy.
37:26O'Shea:Yeah, yeah. That Gigi Dario? Yeah, yeah, yeah. For sure. Gigi Dario. Gigi Dario is hard as hell. A couple new world champions, man, between La Catalina. And there's also pictures going around that La Catalina and Stephanie, they had a WWE trial, and there's pictures. I'll try to find those for D 'Lo so he can put them in there. Yeah, man, I think La Catalina was 19, and Stephanie was like 24, 25. Things didn't work out for them then, but everything at the time, man. Stay with it. You know, God's plan. and the plan was for those two to win championships back to back. Like, that's kind of amazing.
38:04O'Shea:Yeah, man. Bro, it is so much to be said about staying with it, you know. One of my favorite rappers by the name of Fabulous. F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S. L-O-U-S. Says, my plan B is just another way to get my plan A to work. Oh, okay. So, like, it is, it speaks to people just staying with it. And that's so hard to do. There's been times with no contest where we're like, man, what are we doing? Like, what's going on? But stay with it. You know, if you drop the same, drop a little water on concrete, it will crack. Yeah, eventually. Eventually. But eventually doesn't come for a lot of people. But even for me, Shay, like, you know, everyone knows that watches this show what I do for my day job.
38:54as they know what you do for your day. That part. But, bro, it took me 20 years. I was in, like, actually my 27-year anniversary of moving to Los Angeles was this week. September the 11th, 1999 is the day after I drove cross-country that I made it here. Obviously, what happened a few years later, I don't celebrate it on that day. But, yeah, so I've been here that long. It took 20. I've always wanted to do these things that we're doing now. You talk sports, talk music, talk culture, movies, talk wrestling. But it took 20 years for someone like Rich to be like, all right, I'm going to give you a chance to do this.
39:33He put me on air in 2020. And then it took, you know, longer than that for I've always wanted to do a wrestling pod. And it took, you know, it's funny, bro. I was just looking through my pictures of my phone and I found a screenshot. I found the screenshot of the day that I text DMG on Twitter. and I said hey man it's TJ from the show I got something I want to chop it up with you about can you just give me a call whenever you get a second you know and that was 2024 so it took even longer to do this so that's it man if you've got a dream and if you've got a goal and you really feel that strong about it in your heart and your soul you're going to get a lot of no's man like I remember I had an idea for a talk show back in 2001 and Ashton was behind it you know Ashton Kutcher as people know was my old roommate one of my best friends and we had a meeting once and a guy that we were friends with we all went and we were discussing this and he goes well why would anybody like care what tj has to say damn and i was like wow and i kind of like i i sat on that it was like oh okay you know um and that kind of messed me up a little bit because it was like yeah why would anybody care and i think that i allowed that to not let me drive have the drive that i should have but yeah it took it took a while, man, but I'm here where I wanted to be, where I want to be, and yeah, if you just, if you got a goal and you got a dream, don't let anybody stop you from doing that.
40:55O'Shea:Sure, it took me two years to get one job. One job. Two years. You auditioned for two years. For two years. To get the job playing the man whose bedroom was down the hall from you. Yeah. You know what I mean? Gary Gray and, you know, the suits over at Universal. My dad was like, yeah, I want my son to audition to play me, and his response was, Q, is this a joke? That's wild. That is wild, man. Joke's on you. Beat that D-Lo. Gotta bleep that D-Lo. Gotta bleep that D-Lo. But yeah, man. Joke's on them all because we kind of made it. Yeah. Yeah, a little bit. And even with this, you know, 100 episodes in, we aren't where we want to be.
41:39O'Shea:No. We aren't where we want to be. And, you know, there's been times where it just felt like we are we growing. Are we like as long as we're progressing? Yeah, I feel like that is whether it's even if it's a little or a lot of it. As long as you are a step further than you were yesterday. And some days I feel like we were we've been jumping rope. But stay with it. The growth of the show, the growth of you as a person, just got to stay with it. And those ladies stayed with it, and now they got hardware. Yeah, so we're going to have some good matches coming up with those new world champions. Looking forward to it.
42:24We already got to see a tag team with Stephanie and El Grande as they took on Dom and Liv. That was hard. That was dope. Crowd in it. Yeah, I think they're in a good spot right now. I'm looking forward to see where Sammy goes, where Stephanie goes, where Liv goes, where Dom goes, where Al Grande goes. But just real quick, you mentioned something about are we growing and things of that nature. But I always kind of tend, people always say don't read the comments, but I have to. How can you put out a product and not read the comments? And I did catch something, and it made me pretty happy because it shows that we've been out to multiple, not just WWE shows, AEW shows, MLW shows.
43:07We've been indie wrestling. we've gone to shows and we've gotten a lot of love from people and for you like i said it's kind of you know it's a normal thing you're at movies you know from who your dad is but for me to get love is like who am i i'm just like you know the dude i'm the man sitting next to the man you know it has to have big to it as robin harris once said you know um but we you know on your dms on instagram or twitter you have dms from people you follow and then you always have like a from a random section of DMs. I just randomly checked this one day last week, and I saw a DM from a man named Phillip Corley, pcorley86, and he dropped a DM to us, and this is September the 7th, had a special shirt made for tonight since I'll be at Raw, so pay attention to where they go up the steps and get in the ring.
43:58I'll be ringside. So I saw this, I think, during Raw, and I waited till after it was over. I actually was over, and I went and watched it, I was like, oh, let me go back and watch it. So then I looked, and I definitely saw, I personally made a NCW shirt in the NWO font. Yep. And Phillip saw that, and he made his own, and he was front, like, first two rows of Raw, and I'm like, man, this is cool. Yeah. To see somebody who, like, watches us and thought enough to, and we will get on the merch, I promise you guys that. But that was really dope for him to take it upon himself. and so we just want to say thank you man we really appreciate you for for doing that for us Phillip Corley
44:41O'Shea:shout out to Phil my dog where would NCW be without a Phil and seriously man like I said we don't we're not the number one pod we don't have the most listeners or viewers on YouTube but we have the right people who are aware of us and watching this so I just want to say thank you to that thank you Philip for doing that I really I tried to take a picture but it was so it was kind of quick and the picture didn't come out great so I don't want to pop it up here because it looks a little jabroni but it I kind of sat there and I hit pause and I saw that and I was like damn that's really yeah man you know we're not um we're not the show that like we just too chill yeah because we don't we're not screaming we're not those pods like and i feel this way about sports right okay these sports shows we're on the rich i'm on youtube because you're part of it the thing about rich that people like him he has a very nuanced take like rich you know yeah he loves michigan and he'll wear that proudly on his chest but everything else like rich can at least look at something if he says something monday he has no problem going coming back on thursday and being like i was wrong that's why i love listening and watching to him these sports shows who take everything so personal right like the cowboys did something wrong and you want to get on yelling scream and how this like it's not it's not really it's not really affecting you that much right yeah so we have these wrestling shows that people just get on here and they're so mad and they yell and they scream about wrestling and hate this it's wrestling dog it's not i mean it's serious but it's not that serious for you to like have a heart attack over yelling and screaming about something you don't like so yeah we that's not really our lane and sometimes i wonder should it be our lane because because i get the most views i get the most you know traction but to me it's not being authentic you know what i mean like i i'd be mad at myself I would be like that's not even me yeah so the people that watch us and like truly appreciate the way we handle the business here because we've heard it we've had people tell us we've had comments you know and so we appreciate you guys and like I don't want to be on here yelling and screaming and getting mad about stuff I want to have fun but I will if need be I will if need be so yeah so like I said appreciate everyone thank you Phillip for that t-shirt that's dope and it just goes to show that whatever we're doing is kind of resonating with people.
47:16O'Shea:Yeah. And, you know, speaking of high energy towards takes, while there are a bunch of new champions, TJ, there is one and still your world heavyweight champion, Roman Reigns!

49:22I know how you feel, but I'm going to say this. I'm a Roman Reigns fan, always have and always will be. But I got to be honest with you. I'm going to look you right in the eye and tell you this. the WWE missed out on one of the greatest opportunities that they ever had to put that title on Penta on Monday night in Mexico City because that crowd was so hot. That crowd was so behind Penta. They actually booed Roman. Roman don't get booed anymore, Shay. Even when he was a bad guy, right? People stopped booing him. That crowd booed him. They were so behind Penta. There was a chance to do something because last week or a few weeks ago, I always say, wrestling is about moments, right?
50:05What better moment could have been made than giving Penta... Look, Roman could have came back a week later. He could have got the belt back. But I feel that they did a disservice to the wrestling fan by not putting that belt on Penta on Monday night. The pop would have been legendary. It would have been something that would have been talked about for generations to come. Look, we've seen guys have three-hour title reigns, Rey Mysterio. We've seen guys like Tommy Rout, Fire Rich have a five-day reign. We've seen a nine-day reign. The reigns are one thing, but it's always the fact that you won it, right?
50:42So if Roman came back the next day and beat Penta, whatever. The fact is, to me, in that moment, on that day, Penta should have became the world champion because that was one of the hottest crowds I've ever seen. And I know you love Roman and you don't think so, But I don't know, bro. I don't know.
51:02O'Shea:Let me just, let me get this together. Let me tell you. The WWE gave Mexico City an amazing feel-good weekend. But that was the weekend. This is Monday Night Raw. We talking about my, your, our tribal chief. it's only been what three people to beat him in like five years yeah so that doesn't hurt him it would have been a great moment and it would have been all of that and more and all of that yada yada yada but if it was on anybody else i'd probably agree but it's roman reigns we're talking about here and what i will say though is roman reigns loves pinta he loves it he loves oh my god Roman first of all it's no props for his selling one of the best sellers out with as much like Brock Lesnar yeah that's what it felt like it felt like Brock and Ova how Brock was like I'm having fun out here a little bit you know and you can see you can see them feeding off that crowd and Penta looked like a god out there and like just what Roman was giving him lets me know how he sees Penta and then it made me think about when Roman was in the Rumble he told Penta like he like boosted Penta up for one of his moves and like they kind of were working together during the Rumble Roman Reigns digs Penta bro like he rocks with Penta and Penta looked larger than life and yes he lost the match but bro he he was that moment dude he was that moment and to show him going toe to toe with Roman puts it's got to put his stock in the company higher he just he looked like a star he looked like somebody I can see with that title just not against the big dog baby come on dog come on baby Come on, baby.
53:21All right, so you're looking at it from, I don't know, your love of Roman, which, like I said, I do too. But I also love a moment. In that moment, bro, Pence is already a – That's the top two Roman match ever. Ever. I don't know. Dude, I – You know what? I get to come back next week and kind of think. Bro, that's top two in my book. It's up there. With the Punk one, the Punk-Mania match might be one. Cody and him from 42. Bro. I hate the one from 40. What made that match so good was all of the it was a great match but then you had everything else. That was an incredible spectacle. It felt like a PLE.
54:03I'm talking about the Cody Rose. The match was amazing but everything else. You had to take a rock. Everything that came through. That was a spectacle. I'm not going to say it's his top two matches because I hadn't really felt about it so I got to go back and really, you know, maybe make a list. But Roman and Penta, if I hear next Monday we're running it back, cool. It's not going to happen because now it looks like Los Angeles Knight has thrown his hat into the ring. And I don't understand. It's Netflix. Why did we not see the confrontation between L.A. Knight and Roman? Right. What the hell is the point?
54:40What's the point if you don't have – by the way, there was like six ads. like throughout the show you get an ad and then you gotta go like minute like the amount of ads it's just it takes away and so because of that now we miss LA Knight coming out to confront Roman now he's got a Money in the Bank title match which I'm pretty sure we're gonna go to Money in the Bank this year but we had to go on social media to watch it it's like Netflix you don't have time constraints why can't you show this and also
55:14O'Shea:let us get a picture in picture, baby. A little pip. I don't know. I think I'm kind of over picture in picture. If you're going to show me the commercial and the pip. They won't. They'll never do that. They'll never put the commercial in the little box. My God, bro. It's kind of a big deal happening right now. And Charles Rice, I'm sorry, bro. I know you don't like me talking about the ads. But like, we know the bills got to get paid, but still. Man! And also, it's like Netflix, why? Why? Was there no blood on Stranger Things? Why are we blurring out blood? Why are we doing all of this? Hoopla, you're Netflix.
55:54O'Shea:I can see some suggested things on Netflix. I have seen some suggested things on Netflix. Never mind. It's a couple of wild shows on there. You ever see Sex Life? My boy Adam is on Sex Life. Make it an option. Make it an option. I don't know how the app works, but there's got to be like, if I want to watch the family-friendly version of Raw or I want to watch Raw, I want that uncut Raw. What is when you go and you log on and see that you got the kids have their own and the adults have their own? Yeah, man. Don't blow out no blood, man. Yeah, man. I want to hear some cursing. All of that. Everything that I thought I was going to get.
56:35O'Shea:It's just like... I'm paying a lot of money for Netflix. Bro, do you know how much... I got to have Netflix. the ESPN app Peacock Disney Plus Disney Plus because they got to watch us bro if I want some curse words and some blood and a run time that doesn't even exist like you could go on forever it's all in your mind yeah so like you gotta come on baby am I crazy you're not well you are a little bit but not for this some peanuts some peanuts alright like It just makes all sense in the world. Or at least give us a description why. Give us a description why, man. You're just making us mad. Yeah, they're blurring stuff like we're watching movies from Japan.
57:25O'Shea:You know what I mean? Yeah. But it's all black and white. Lord knows the movies from Japan. Things are blurred. But. But.
57:42O'Shea:Why are you my dog, bro? We know what it is. What are we doing here? Oh, man. God. God, that sucked. That sucked, man. You know ball. So. Yeah, bro. Pinta. Congrats, dog. Friend of the show. Been on twice. Yeah. Yeah, man. High energy. You were a star. And if I'm WWE, I am thinking of any kind of way I can get Pinta in Money in the Bank. Oh, yeah, that's a given. Bro, he has to have it. Who do we got so far in Money in the Bank? Javon and Brombreaker. There's four spots left. Yeah, he's definitely got to be in that match. Because, look, ultimately we know, I don't know if we know, but we kind of feel the WrestleMania plan is for Oba to probably beat Roman.
58:36Yeah, probably. You know what I mean? There's a lot of time between now and WrestleMania, man. You know what I mean? The way that belts. By the way, belts in both major companies have been hot shot lately. Yeah, you got to watch them. So no title reign is secured.
58:52O'Shea:Bro, Pinta having that money in the bank, that's a dangerous person to have it, dude. Dangerous person to have it, man. And, oh, God. Pinta for money in the bank. please I beg of you well is that how we get the Oba does Oba win money in the Bay is that how we get to that boy his big ass better not be on no ladder alright now I felt when Brock won it I was like what the hell you need that for I'm just saying think about the big like Kane has climbed the ladder and won Brock Otis you know what I mean so the big boys climbed the ladder can we talk about that what the hell was that WWE Otis is so over too Well, like, yeah, we actually, Miz.
59:35Take that from him. And again, you know, shout out to the Miz. You know, his 20 years was this month, really, is his 20-year anniversary. Yeah, we got to get the Miz on. We got to get him on here because, you know, for years I hated the Miz for a personal reason that he and I got to chop it up over when he was guest hosting the Aizen show. And it just, I had this deep dislike for the Miz for so long. But then what happened is my boy, John Piermarini, who I've spoken about, he became a writer at WWE. And he would report back to me when he moved to Stanford. Dude, Miz is great. And I'd be like, I want to hear that.
1:00:12And then two of my boys, Nathan Zagora and Vince Condi, they became friends with Miz. They're all in this fantasy football league together. Nathan, who is the radio color guy for the Browns, he was at Miz's wedding. and those two would call me and go, yo, you're off on The Miz, bro. He's great. And I'm like, I don't want to hear this, man. Yeah, bro. And these guys for years just kept telling me how dope he really was. And in every championship he won, it would just be more like I'd be so mad. But then we got to chop it up and talk it over. And I'm like, yeah, Miz, you're the man, bro. I can't front him.
1:00:46Matter of fact, he's awesome.
1:00:52O'Shea:Okay, dude, bro. Come to play. A lot of new champions, a lot of new potential matchups that we can have going forward. I'm really looking forward to it, man. Money in the bank coming up. Let's see what time it is. We got Roxanne off to Schneid. She at least got a dub. Had to go to Mexico to do it, but they were very pro-Roxanne in that match, by the way. So, yeah, good stuff, good stuff. But let me tell you something, if we can move on to something a little bit more somber. Okay. And it's AEW. And I'll tell you why I'm saying this, because I watched last week the Rebel Heart AEW Dynamite episode.
1:01:28I watched the tribute to Andy Williams, a.k.a. The Butcher, on Collision. And I'm just going to tell you this. Nobody does a tribute show better than AEW and Tony Khan. Because both of these shows kind of, you know, many got you. Especially Rebel. We have Tanea Brooks, a.k.a. Rebel. and she's battling ALS Lou Gehrig's disease. We talked about my brother, Eric Dane, who lost his fight earlier this year to ALS, and it was the day that you and I went to Stanford, Connecticut. We got up there for WWE 2K26. We had a great day. It was right after we interviewed John Cena. We were getting a lot of props.
1:02:13It was like personally, professionally, that was one of the best days of my life. We get back to the hotel and the text came in that my brother had passed away. so that went from the ultimate high to like the ultimate low so I you know I've already had some feelings about ALS but you know for Rebel what they did for her they did the tribute show and it was amazing like her and Britt Baker did the waiting room which is what they used to do back in the day and just you know at the end of the show you know Britt's the heel but here comes Rebel down to the ring in her chair and she hands Britt Baker the glove that she would always give her so Brick could put the lockjaw on even though they were the heels in the match the fans weren't having it of course not then they got the dub bro like I said the entire show was a beautiful beautiful tribute to her and I know she feels the love and it's amazing but then Brick sits on her lap and they make their way back in Rebel's chair and she's got the role model written on there which is awesome
1:03:12O'Shea:you know that's with Bayley but like even Bayley gotta give it up Yeah, you got to give it up to that. But then there was a moment where Rebel kind of spun around. And just the look on her face, bro, where I think she really took it all in, took in all that love, and she broke. And she put her head in Britt's chest and hugged her. And, dude, it was at that moment where, like, I didn't cry, but it took a lot for me not to, man, because you could just feel the emotion. You could feel the pain, but you also felt the love. And I'm so glad. We talk about giving people flowers while they're here to actually smell them.
1:03:51And I'm so glad that they gave her the opportunity to show how much she was loved. And she really is loved by that whole locker room and wrestling fans all around the world. So that was emotional. That was hard to watch. And then Saturday, they did the tribute to the butcher, Andy Williams. And I've said this to you before. The amount of people from all wrestling companies that had the most amazing things to say about Andy Williams, the butcher. it just it kind of made me sad dog because it made me wish that the butcher and the blade and the bunny would have got even though they were a big part of AEW at the beginning I kind of wish they would have had a bigger run with that company because you love to see good people succeed and by all accounts Andy Williams wasn't just a good guy he was one of the best guys and you know they had that tragic incident in the ring in Pittsburgh for him to lose his life bro you know that that's troubling it's troubling and it's sad but the love he got shown i hope his family i hope his friends i hope he up above i hope he really felt it and um yeah you definitely you just got to give people their love and their flowers while they're here because it was there were two amazing tributes and i just feel like you have to acknowledge that and say what a great job this company did on on really showing love to these two people.
1:05:10O'Shea:Yeah, dude, some of the fan edits of Rebel on TikTok, bro, like I'm talking like choke you up, bro. And it's just so unfortunate when, I mean, these are some of the most in shape people on the planet, you know, and your body starts to fight you. Like I could just, the nights and the things that have gone through her head, I'm sure, to feel the energy that she felt on that ramp. You know, there's no way, I'm trying not to get choked up right now, but just like I was so happy for her. and I didn't want it to stop. I hope it doesn't stop. I hope they use her as much as they can. So I'm sorry I interrupted you.
1:06:10O'Shea:No, but you're absolutely right. And Tony is so good at that. And I think that's one of the reasons why those close to Tony, those that work with Tony, continue to do so because he shows the appreciation when it's needed. And, yeah, man, getting your flowers while you can still smell them. That is something that we all should practice more when it comes to these stars and legends, of course. But shout-out to Rebel, man. Shout-out to Rebel. And shout-out to the Butcher's family as well. But, yeah. Yeah, I have very surface-level knowledge of the Butcher, right? and the more these tributes come in, I start doing a little bit of a deep dive, you know, about his music.
1:06:59And just like I said, the way everyone had such great things to say about him. I know like RJ City, who does a great job in his interviews, he said that Andy goes, it was something to the effect of like, does it feel weird that you look like a racist even though you're not? Because you look at the outside, you see this big grump tattoo guy, big mustache, had the long hair, then he got bald. And you look at him, and my first time I was like, I don't know if I want to even engage with this dude. He drives with his dog in the front seat. Turns out this man was the furthest thing from that. And like I said, you tend to learn about people sometimes after it's too late.
1:07:41And that's what I like to think that we do here on the show, because every episode since we've started, how many times have I said to someone, hey, go check out this person's match? or if you don't know this person. There's a way of me trying to give them flowers, and I never really said it that way. So maybe going forward, I'll make it specific that I'm going to give so-and-so their flowers because there's a lot of... We know all about the stars and the big names, but there's a ton of other people who aren't on the marquee who have just an influence on the other performers. You can see what he meant to the Eddie Kingstons.
1:08:20You can see what he meant. To Pac, you could see what he meant to Daniel Garcia, who won the Butcher Battle Royal, you know? So, yeah, man, just salute, congratulations, and thank you, AEW, because those were two beautiful tributes.
1:08:35O'Shea:You know, TJ, I wonder if that should be a weekly thing from you. Roses? Yeah, yeah, let's give out some of TJ's roses and pick a match for us viewers to watch. and I think that would be a really cool thing for the show to do. We're just thinking out loud with our audience. I'm trying to think, what was the last match that I randomly watched? I'm like this Bob Backlund obsessed guy. I was watching Bob Backlund, Superfly, Jimmy Snuka, 1982 steel cage match when Snuka climbed to the top, jumped off and missed Backlund. It was one of the first things I ever remember seeing wrestling-wise. I didn't see it live or anything.
1:09:17It was after that. But, like, the shot of Jimmy Snuka on top of the cage. Yeah. So if you've never seen that match, go back and watch that because the star was born on that day. And it was Jimmy Snuka.
1:09:31O'Shea:Bro, Mercedes and MVP are her who put me on to Monami Toyota. Yeah. Oh, my God, dude. Like, oh, my God. That right there, it's life changing. Yeah, there's some great wrestling out there. Great wrestlers. maybe we'll bring a list back next week have we ever done our favorite women's wrestlers right absolutely bro I love talking about the ladies we'll find another list to do next week and yeah man thank you guys for chilling with us episode 102 can you tell me can you tell these people where to find us man oh absolutely so for your air gate wherever you listen to podcasts you can find us on the ESPN app on Apple, Spotify, Amazon Music, you know, like I said, anywhere where you listen to your podcast.

I don't know if I told you, you know, on one of our ESPN2 cut down shows, I fell asleep on the couch. I woke up in the middle of the night. I look at the TV and I'm staring at myself. and I was like whoa we're on like you know how many times in my life that I've woken up and like yeah I'm watching ESPN or something or a movie but to turn over and see yourself on television I was like wow man mama we made it almost I was about to say something inappropriate on behalf of myself and the big tuna himself that's T-O-O-N-A if you're going to use it don't.
