1:22Ashton Jeanty:different directions, but you know what? They played ball and we had a lot of fun. So I got Billy Gill here with me. Then we'll welcome in Chris Long. Then we'll get to Ashton Jenty. Let's take a break. We'll come right back.

1:45Ashton Jeanty:All right. We are back here on the Ringer NFL show with Billy Gill and Chris Long, our guest today. Chris, how we doing, my friend? I'm good, bro. How are you? Good. Great to see you. Chris is here on behalf of Subaru, Billy, and I feel like you got the details for that.

1:59Sheil Kapadia:I feel like, yeah, you're here on behalf of Subaru. They're part of the ASPCA, adopting some dogs.

2:05Chris Long:That's right. We like underdogs, right? Philly adjacent personalities on this dot here. Eight-year anniversary, I think, of us winning that bowl. Somebody texted me this morning. I don't have a calendar. But Subaru loves underdogs. We're going to Muttville later today to play with some dogs and Subaru wants to encourage people to adopt the underdogs, the older dogs that people kind of pass over. I'll be going out there in a Subaru Outback Wilderness, which is tight. I've always wanted to get a Subaru and lift it up, put it on like 36 inch tires. You can imagine that. So maybe they'll actually hook me up.

2:38Chris Long:They haven't told me if they would or not. Okay. But yeah, they're working with the SPCA. They love underdogs and I think it's just a great partnership. Yeah.

2:45Ashton Jeanty:Now I was told, Chris, but you I ran into some old Seattle radio friends today, and they said, we got to get Chris Long on. He was the first person who adopted the Seahawks this year. He was like a legit Super Bowl contender. Now, Billy's looking a little skeptical. Yeah, I mean, no pun. I picked him to win the West.

3:02Sheil Kapadia:I have a bone to pick with you. No pun intended here. What is it? We're here, you know, supporting underdogs. Yeah. And you're picking a favorite to win the game.

3:09Chris Long:Well, I'm not going to lay the points. That's a lot of points in a game that could be lower total. But I got to stick with my guns, man. I've been picking against the Patriots the whole playoffs. I'm not going to stop now. I just think, like, listen, if you're making the Patriots pick, it's probably a coach and QB pick, as good as I think McDonald is. Having Josh McDaniel, having Mike Vrabel, having people in that organization with Super Bowl experience because this is a different animal playing in this game. And the quarterback, who I think is legitimately, in my opinion, I would probably give him the MVP.

3:45Chris Long:If it's a regular season award, I give them the MVP. But I think Seattle's defense, and it's not just the pass rush, I think as much as anything, the way they can erase the run phase and kind of play press and get up on these guys and take the receivers away. Drake May loves to play with timing. That's the one thing they've done really well there. They coach them to play with timing. They have the check downs. Their timing is going to be disrupted in this game. The only thing I could see is like New England, as much as they blitzed and gotten after people, If they can get Sam to do those Sam Darnold kind of things, which he's avoided in the playoffs, then they can win the game.

4:22Chris Long:Yeah.

4:22Ashton Jeanty:It feels like the Patriots' path is Drake maybe in Superman or Sam Darnold turning it over a couple times. Or the weird special teams miscues. Because you mentioned the Super Bowl is different, right? Like, what advice? You've probably been asked this question. It's probably a terrible question, Billy. You can make fun of me. But if you told these players who were in there for the first time, like, I wish I knew this before the first time I played in a Super Bowl. What are the things that are different?

4:44Chris Long:Find your normal as early as you can in the week. It is such a different week. It is a you-know-what show. You know, I remember, like, when I used to travel in the NFL, your quietest moment of the week where you're finally recovering physically. You've got some time. You know, if you've got kids at home, you're certainly not getting any quiet at home. You get to the away hotel. You plop your stuff down in your room. You lay on the bed before meetings, and you say, oh. But when I got to Houston, the first Super Bowl I ever played in, I remember trying to do that. and hearing helicopters outside, people outside converged around the hotel.

5:18Chris Long:You can't go down to the lobby without people getting on you. You got radio row. You got media day. You got the owner having a party Friday night, like trying to watch film. And somebody from the team's like, come on, you got to go to this party. I'm like, are we trying to win the game or not? Yeah. You know, there's a lot of distractions. The halftime is longer. The whole thing. You walk out, because I used to walk out and do that little lap just to kind of like see the field. and I remember doing that before the Super Bowl and thinking like, oh my God, it is a zoo out here, dude. Like it's like the world's media.

5:48Chris Long:It's got that big game atmosphere and not like a regular season or a playoff big game, like an international game kind of feel.

5:55Sheil Kapadia:It's almost like you wish you didn't go to the Super Bowl. All the hassles, you know?

6:00Chris Long:Yeah, you wish you came in on Friday. Like honestly, like as a player, it'd be nice to come in on Friday, but that's not the name of the game. but once the game starts your adrenaline kind of just subsides you hit somebody that's what they

6:14Ashton Jeanty:say and it goes away yeah billy you had anything you were going a different direction otherwise we get to these props we're going to know can I ask you something about the Patriots your time with

6:23Sheil Kapadia:the Patriots so obviously the Patriots are in the Super Bowl but the news around the Patriots the past couple weeks have been Hall of Fame voting Bill Belichick not getting in Mr. Kraft not getting in and we've been kind of talking about this for a while wondering the whole Mr. Kraft situation like obviously it's a sign of respect but why does everyone just go along with this why are we all just saying Mr. Kraft Mr.

6:47Chris Long:Kraft to him oh I don't know man that's a funny thing I've called him

6:50Sheil Kapadia:Robert Kraft a lot all right like like just right now like that was the end your last day with the

6:55Chris Long:Patriots no if I if I was to I just don't think about that stuff like owners it's not like I'm I'm not like anti-Robert Kraft, but I'm not afraid of Robert Kraft. He's not going to show up outside my house if I call him Robert Kraft.

7:08Sheil Kapadia:People seem to be afraid of him.

7:09Chris Long:I don't know why. He's a perfectly nice guy. You know, I thought the bill not being in the Hall of Fame was kind of BS. Because to me, what was it about? If y 'all had to guess, what was it about? It'd be anti-host. And it went enough, I guess. Yeah, I guess so.

7:26Ashton Jeanty:I was buying this sort of backroom Bill Pullian, hey, maybe he should have to wait, Spygate type. Because I can't think of another. And I'm not saying that's a great reason. No, I know. But no one can look at the resume and say no.

7:40Chris Long:So somebody tell me this. If the Pats thought it was like, or if the NFL thought it was like some moral high ground deal breaker, shouldn't they have Pete Rose them? Like, they didn't. They kept enjoying, you know, the fruits of that dynasty. They kept enjoying his greatness for all those years. and then when it's time to recognize them, you're like, oh, you've got to wait. We're going to tax you. It's too big a deal to put you in first ballot, so we're going to make you wait a year. Like, what does that say about your moral high ground? Like, okay, so we're too good for you year one, but year two, we'll let you in.

8:11Chris Long:Like, that's BS to me. And also, like, you know, that, hey, he only coached in New England, had success there. Well, he also, they put his game plan as a DC in the Hall of Fame. and, you know, how many coaches get in the damn Hall of Fame with one place that they were dominant? Yeah. So why are we holding him to a higher standard? Yeah. That's the goofiest thing in the world, in my opinion.

8:31Ashton Jeanty:There was also the weird theory, Chris, of the, hey, everybody else is going to vote for him. I don't need to. I'm going to get these other guys in. Have you ever done that? Like, remember when you were a kid, did you ever have to, like, vote for teammates who were going to be in the All-Star game? That's interesting. You know, where it's like, well, everyone's going to vote for this guy.

8:46Chris Long:Let me give this other guy some love. Dude, I think, you know what sucks is, like, the Pro Bowl is totally broken. It's been broken for a long time. And the Hall of Fame should be like, shouldn't be that. Like the Hall of Fame emotion shouldn't factor into it. Nothing like that. Like, it seems like the only thing that we still have is like all pro. Like, you know,

9:04Ashton Jeanty:that's the only reliable thing. If you want to look at history of the last 10 years where you're like, I can actually trust this. Yes. Yeah.

9:11Chris Long:So, I mean, like it's a broken kind of system. And it sucks that, you know, Bill should be in man. Like, and maybe he comes back and maybe that's part of it. Like maybe he wants to come back and coach somewhere. I don't know. But yeah, it's BS.

9:24Ashton Jeanty:The other thing, Billy, that caught my attention when Chris was talking, saying like, you go home, if you have kids, that's going to be busy. We were talking this week about just the NFL culture as it pertains to fatherhood, you know? Jake Lazor. Yeah. He's flexing at me. Oh my God. Are we in danger? Yeah. I don't know. I'll protect you. Don't worry. Are we in danger? You're good. Yeah. I'm coming. I'm coming. You call him Mr. Lazor, you know? There you go. He's saying, Are you hanging for a sec?

9:51Chris Long:I'll see you. Yeah. All right, what you got?

9:52Ashton Jeanty:No, yeah, like fatherhood in the NFL. Jay, Jay just walking in on everything. I like that. That's the fun of being here.

9:57Chris Long:Do some jujitsu on you. All right. There was the...

10:01Sheil Kapadia:Him? You do jujitsu with him?

10:02Chris Long:I have before, but he's always... You know guys that do jujitsu, they like to like, they greet people and like, kind of like do their moves on them.

10:10Sheil Kapadia:You're substantially larger than him, obviously, but he has probably like... I can slam him on his head. Can you? Oh, yes. You don't think he beat the shit out of you? Big truck beats little truck. He knows the techniques.

10:19Chris Long:Okay, little truck knows jiu-jitsu. That's cool. Big truck beats little jiu-jitsu. All right. Okay.

10:23Ashton Jeanty:What is the workout routine now? I think we're of a similar age. I'm trying to, you know, my whole Instagram is just dad material. Now, I know I can't do that. You guys being of a similar age has nothing to do with anything in terms of the rest of the story. We are the same age. Yeah, but we're a similar athletic level, I would say. Similar, I would say. But my whole Instagram now, it's like golf tips and then it's like, You're over 40. You should be doing this stretching routine. Walk, lift weights three days a week. You don't need to do anything else.

10:49Chris Long:Oh, dude, if you listen to your algorithm, you'd never have time in the day. You'd be doing a bunch of stuff. But I do like the clothing and hat recommendations it gives me.

10:56Ashton Jeanty:Yeah, I buy some stuff off Instagram all the time. I love it. People get mad. I'm like, they know me. They know what I like.

11:02Sheil Kapadia:I bought underwear the other day that it was targeted at. It says it has a ball hammock. And I was like, I got to try it. Sex? I don't remember what it was. A ball hammock? I got to try it. See how it works out. There's a promo code. I have to sign up to like a yearly subscription. I'm like, we're going to try it and cancel it immediately. Now, do you have the fly?

11:18Ashton Jeanty:It's like a little capsule.

11:19Sheil Kapadia:You know what else I've been targeted with lately is mushroom coffee. And it's supposed to be like four different or five different types of mushrooms. Got to get your adaptogens. And they're supposed to do these little things in there. And then they combine. It's supposed to get rid of my gut. And I'm seeing it. I'm like, I got to get rid of my gut. Yeah. They're telling me here, if I work out too much, it's not going to do anything. Cardio is a waste of time. What you got to do is just drink once a day for 30 days this mushroom coffee, and it's going to clear out your gut.

11:44Chris Long:Dude, you guys have a really good algorithm. My algorithm is like accidents in other countries, like semi-trucks hitting motorcycles, or like terrible news about the government and how screwed up it is, or like football. I don't get any of this stuff. I need to get y 'all's algorithm.

12:03Sheil Kapadia:But you don't need to work out. You don't need to get rid of a gut. Like they know you're fine when you're interested in seeing accidents. Maybe. I don't know, dude.

12:11Chris Long:You just need to take care of your microbiome, dude. Okay. That's the bottom line. How do we do that? Well, a lot of fiber. And you want to be careful about the foods that you're putting in your gut. Your gut health is your health, dude. That's what I've realized as I've gotten older. So what should I change?

12:26Sheil Kapadia:Like what did you change? I don't know what you're doing, dude. Do you do a fiber supplement? Imagine everything that's bad. That's what I'm doing, you know?

12:33Chris Long:Well, then I would stop doing those things. It's so hard.

12:35Sheil Kapadia:Fast food is so delicious. No, dude.

12:38Chris Long:Up the protein. Up the fiber. Okay. Up the greens, man.

12:43Sheil Kapadia:You know what happened to me one time? So I did track in college. Yeah. So I said, you know, I was a pole vaulter, obviously. Really? Yeah. I didn't know this, Chris. What I said was I got to put on weight because at the time, I graduated senior. I was weighing like 160 or something, right? I'm like, I got to put on some muscle because I'm like lanky. I'm tall-ish enough, but I'm lanky. I got to put on some weight. I got to put on some muscle. So I went into a supplement store, and I was like, I got to get, like, some weight gain, or I got to get some protein. So I asked the woman that was working there.

13:09Sheil Kapadia:I was like, hey, I want to gain some muscle. I want to gain some weight. What should I do? She's just like, take this. And what she gave me, she didn't know what she was doing. She gave you some gear. Dude, she gave me something that was five scoops of protein to put in a shake. It was like drinking mud. It was disgusting. I did it, like, three times. I couldn't force it down after a while. And then, you know what happened to me? What? I failed my physical because they were like, hey, you're peeing out protein. There's blood in your urine. It's like soft serve. Yeah, you messed up your kidneys with this stuff.

13:38Sheil Kapadia:And I was like, I don't think this is life for me.

13:40Chris Long:That's why you can't go to like GNC and be like, what do I do?

13:44Sheil Kapadia:But you nailed it. No, but like, yeah, what do I do?

13:46Chris Long:Honestly, though, creatine helps. Okay. If you're not on creatine, every man, woman should be on creatine. Everybody should be on creatine. I'm on seven grams a day. I do. I actually cross my Subaru and create creatine gummies. But like that stuff's good for your cognition. It's good for your muscle mass, like your retention of muscle.

14:05Sheil Kapadia:Creatine gummies sounds easy. It is easy.

14:07Chris Long:Creatine gummies.

14:08Sheil Kapadia:Yeah, yeah, but it's not like a scoop that I have to put in a shake. Then you can have your gummies, yeah.

14:12Ashton Jeanty:Okay. Yeah, I'm just making sure. You know, it's the first part. My mushroom coffee, my creatine gummies. Creatine helps a lot.

14:19Chris Long:I noticed, like, you know how they say, like, this thing works, this thing doesn't? When I don't take creatine, I notice a difference. This was great.

14:27Ashton Jeanty:You know, we came in with a plan. We'll throw some prop bets this way. Shahid. When you, Shahid, longest reception you like? MVP, long shot. 30-plus yard gain. Okay.

14:37Chris Long:Because don't you think Marcus Jones ends up on Cooper Cup a lot? Yes. And don't you think they probably travel Gonzo a little bit? Here's the thing, though, not to go back to football. Yeah. One thing I loved about Kubiak last week in general is, like, where he moves his chess pieces. Like, when they ran red zone scissors down there with JSN out of the backfield. Yeah. That's what they're going to have to do. They're going to have to move people around, get them out of those matchups. But I think Shahid, whoever draws the Davis matchup, those are the props. Those are the props I'm hitting.

15:07Ashton Jeanty:What an interview that was, Billy. That was fantastic.

15:09Sheil Kapadia:Saved some dogs, bought some cars. Yeah, taking some creatine. Got a new workout plan, maybe.

15:16Ashton Jeanty:We'll follow up on that. Car accidents and other countries. Yeah, dude, like terrible stuff.

15:21Chris Long:Don't look at that. Don't stop on those. A bunch of goats in a semi, like falling off a dangerous road.

15:27Ashton Jeanty:Now my phone is here and it's listening, and I'm probably going to get that later. His name is Chris Long. Great guy. Green Light Podcast. Check it out. Check out Subaru. All right, we are back here on the Ringer NFL show with Ashton Gentry, who's got this nice jacket on, this Sharpie jacket on here.

17:21Billy Gil:On behalf of Sharpie, how you doing, man? I'm doing wonderful. Shout out to Sharpie. It's an honor to be one of their rookies of the year. This year, I get the honor of passing it down to another great running back, Jeremiah Love. So shout out to Jeremiah Love, man. See, he's a pro, Billy.

17:40Ashton Jeanty:I gave you the read because I was like, we got to read this for X2J. And he just kind of did it for you. Are you okay? Because he kind of stole your thunder.

17:47Sheil Kapadia:No, I heard you're passing the Sharpie to Jeremiah Love. I'm wondering, is this like an official ceremony? Like, how do we do this? Also, he mentioned your jacket.

17:54Billy Gil:Yeah.

17:55Sheil Kapadia:What do we do with this jacket after you wear this out? Do you go to the club in that jacket? It's a nice jacket, a little warm.

18:00Billy Gil:I think I'm going to keep it on. Yeah? I might go to sleep in it and all that type of stuff. Okay. But no, man, I'm just passing the torch down. You know what I'm saying? I can't be the rookie no more. You know what I'm saying? I'm going into year two. So Jeremiah obviously being an amazing player, doing bold things on the field, and Sharpie's doing bold things off the field, So it's only right to pass it down to him.

18:23Sheil Kapadia:I noticed these Sharpies that you brought, they have your signature on them. You have like your own signature branded Sharpie.

18:29Billy Gil:Yeah, no, it's pretty dope. Yeah.

18:31Sheil Kapadia:Can I ask you a question? And I love Sharpie. Growing up, I love Sharpie. I love when they have the different color Sharpies. The red, the green. What's your favorite color Sharpie, I guess? We'll start with that.

18:40Billy Gil:Your favorite color? It's got to be the metallic silver. That one's fire.

18:46Sheil Kapadia:I like the metallic silver over like the copper or gold ones that they have too. Those are a little too flashy. It's a little too look at me.

18:53Billy Gil:The silver is just right. It's perfect.

18:55Sheil Kapadia:You sign a Raiders jersey and silver, it's perfect. Everyone can use a silver Sharpie. Now, you know the problem with Sharpie? And I don't know what pull you have now since you're passing the torch or passing the Sharpie. I don't know if this ends your partnership with Sharpie. But my kids, two and four, also love Sharpie. The problem is they love decorating the walls with Sharpie. So Sharpie is a great product. It's such a quality product. Like the only problem with Sharpie is it's impossible to remove.

19:21Billy Gil:Yeah. I mean, that just shows you how great they are. You know what I'm saying? It's permanent. You know what I'm saying? When she uses it, it's there. It's commitment. Yeah. It's there. You're committed to Sharpie.

19:29Sheil Kapadia:I'm wondering though, like with this pull that you have with Sharpie, maybe you invent a Sharpie eraser or something, you know? You pull this one out. It has your signature. And then on the other end, boom, pink eraser or something, you know?

19:39Billy Gil:You might be on to something. All right. Sharpie. Let's go into this together. Let's do it. All right. There you go. Let's make it happen.

19:44Ashton Jeanty:Your partnership formed here on Ray. in any of his other interviews today so there we go we're setting uh the tone here all right now actin when you're watching the super bowl on sunday i'm not asking this for any specific reason but when you see kenneth walker are you going to perhaps just again for no reason maybe be picturing yourself in that scheme with some of those runs how would i perform if you know hypothetically speaking i were in that scheme with that type of coach yeah i mean you know i definitely you know

20:15Billy Gil:my mind might go there you know uh and shout out to Kenneth Walker you know having an amazing year um amazing playoff run but nah you know we'll see you know I might be looking at a couple things for

20:26Ashton Jeanty:sure okay all right now we had Chris Long on uh earlier today and he was giving us some tips on just what we can do to be healthier and you are obviously an NFL athlete great shit he told us protein fiber creatine am I missing anything Billy we talked about like mushroom coffee because

20:45Sheil Kapadia:it'll clear out your gut but i don't know he said gut health very important yeah what do you have

20:49Ashton Jeanty:for us now we are old we're much older than you're looking at us like these guys are a lost cause perhaps but if you had to give us some tips perhaps what would you what would you say yeah

20:58Billy Gil:i think it's just all about you know what you eat i mean i know everybody you know can't get a personal chef but i mean i i have a personal chef to really dial in my calories and you know exactly what i'm eating and then i would say that everybody pretty much everybody can get a juicer Get you a juicer. Juice your own fruits. You know, make whatever flavors you want. And when you talk about gut health, you know, nothing's better for you than some freshly squeezed juice. But someone told me, Ashton, that when you juice the fruit, it loses the fiber.

21:28Ashton Jeanty:Is that a myth? Do we know? We're not sure. I don't believe in that.

21:31Billy Gil:Okay.

21:32Ashton Jeanty:I like that. I love this.

21:34Sheil Kapadia:Can I ask you, so how does a personal chef work? Are you surprised by the meals? Like, you just come up and, like, the chef has, like, lunch is ready and you just sit down and lunch knows. I'm so interested in this, too. Is there, like, a menu? Do you work this out in advance? Look, let's be real. I'm never going to have a signature Sharpie. I'm never going to have a personal chef. I disagree with that.

21:52Billy Gil:Never say never. To put a ceiling on what you can accomplish. I like that. Never say never. I like that. But, no, so, yeah, we have a menu, and, you know, especially now, offseason, you know, it's really dialed in. But, you know, some days it is just kind of go with the flow, you know. I might want pork chops. I might want salmon, you know. So he can cook just about anything, you know?

22:13Sheil Kapadia:Well, you're the boss, right? So, like, the chef can say this is what you should eat. This is what's good for you. What if you're like, you know what? No, we're having a pepperoni pizza today.

22:20Billy Gil:Right. I could say that, but, you know, he's going to hold me accountable. Yeah. We're trying to be great, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Maybe on the cheekbone, you know what I'm saying? That's the thing.

22:29Sheil Kapadia:You're talking to two people who are not great, so we don't really understand that mentality.

22:32Ashton Jeanty:I have said, though, if I were ever to come across a nice, you know, amount of money, fruits and glutes. Those are two things. Fruits and glutes. I want someone slicing the fruits for me, making me food like a personal chef. And then someone to stretch me out, Ashton, because earlier we had Chris Long sitting where you were sitting. I got up. I didn't want to kick him. And left groin, I didn't get my stretches locked up a little. When I see you guys on the practice field getting stretched and they're pushing the foot up and they hand me out. I'm like, if I could get someone to do this for me every day, I would be a new man.

23:03Ashton Jeanty:What do you think? Wait, so you want a trainer too? Like a stretcher, I guess. I just want a stretcher. I want them. Just a personal stretcher?

23:09Billy Gil:Yeah, what do you think? routine.

23:10Ashton Jeanty:Is this a business opportunity, Ashton? Not as good as the Sharpie idea.

23:14Billy Gil:Right, right. I think there's something there for sure. Okay.

23:19Sheil Kapadia:He thinks there's something there. You're going to walk around the Raiders facility and just say, hey guys, next year, new coach. Well, no, we know there's going to be a new coach. We're not sure exactly who it is yet, but we pretty much know who it is. Don't get him in. He cannot confirm or deny anything. Possibly a new quarterback. We don't know that situation. We're not going to get into that. We're not going to talk about maybe a new quarterback. And then also, new routine, new model you bring ever be in before the game hands in fruits and glutes uh i don't know if i

23:44Billy Gil:can do that okay all right i don't know if they they would they would get ready for the game with that one all right maybe just a one-time deal yeah yeah see how they react to it with the coaching

23:54Ashton Jeanty:staff and stuff and the change though how are you like online a lot or just people texting you hey look at this are you like man don't don't tell me anything i'll find out when it happens how do you consume the NFL sort of rumor mill when it obviously is could affect you your team uh your

24:11Billy Gil:standing all that stuff yeah I mean obviously you know I got social media so I see different stuff but you know at the end of the day I'm just waiting you know until it's official you know set in stone you know when I'm in the building and you know I see those people in the building

24:26Ashton Jeanty:yeah we were telling you said you're on social media we were talking about our algorithms earlier with Chris Long. He says he's got crazy stuff like crashes in other countries. Billy says he's getting a lot of underwear ads. What was the thing you got, Billy? Ball hammocks. Ball hammocks?

24:40Sheil Kapadia:Yeah. I haven't tried any. I ordered them. They came while I was here, so I haven't tried them yet. They've told me that it's supposed to be good. I got a trial, so I'll let you know.

24:48Ashton Jeanty:Next year you come back, Billy. I said mine's like, I got some golf tips and then I got a lot of like, you're over 40. Like, don't die early. Here are the things you can do. What is on Ashton Jensi's algorithm?

25:00Billy Gil:On my algorithm, it gets pretty crazy, but I'm not going to lie. I've been having a lot of ads like underwear. They've been talking about all this plastic and all this dangerous stuff. We had a micro thing.

25:13Sheil Kapadia:A lot of butts, too, honestly, if we're going to be honest. We know what happens on Instagram, but we don't need to get into that today if you don't want to.

25:21Ashton Jeanty:We're getting to know him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Next year, we can get into the nitty-gritty.

25:26Billy Gil:Okay. Yeah.

25:27Ashton Jeanty:I said I like it that they recommend stuff for me because they know what I like when it's like, hey, you might want to buy this hat. You're a bald man. The hat's an important. I'm like, great. You know what I like. Do you like I like the algorithm when they're trying to sell me stuff. I'm not one of these like doom and gloom, like, oh, man, I can't believe they're serving me stuff. How do you feel about it?

25:46Billy Gil:I mean, I feel pretty good about it. I mean, you know, metas, obviously, you know, they're listening, they're taking notes. So I might think something and then, you know, how do you, you know, do this? But it just pops up later on. You know what I'm saying?

25:59Ashton Jeanty:I had a huge argument with my wife because she's like, your phone's listening to everything. I go, no, it's not. The mic is off. And the next thing I know, something we talked about, I log on Instagram. It's crazy.

26:10Sheil Kapadia:Well, that's what I'm wondering, too. Is it that they know us or are they like programming us? Like, this is what you should like. This is what you should buy.

26:18Billy Gil:That's a good point, you know?

26:19Sheil Kapadia:Have you, like you said that you keep up. You have social media. You see the news and stuff like that. This game's in San Francisco. Have you seen the stories of, like, that substation that's next to the stadium? It's like a power facility that allegedly is, like, sending off these waves, and that's why 49ers have been getting hurt?

26:37Billy Gil:I've seen that. I've heard that. Apparently, they're investigating it. Stay away.

26:41Sheil Kapadia:Are you going to the game?

26:42Billy Gil:I am not going to the game. Stay away.

26:44Sheil Kapadia:Don't get close to that stadium. We don't want you to get hurt. Yeah, yeah.

26:47Ashton Jeanty:No, I do think that was debunked with some reporting from some scientific experts.

26:51Sheil Kapadia:I will say this. A report came out that the Players Association is looking into this now. Oh, is that true? So now it's being taken to another level now.

26:59Billy Gil:Listen, you got a nice facility in Vegas. Oh, yeah. What's going on? You know, top of the line, you know, Intermountain Health Facility, you know. It's wonderful. I mean.

27:09Ashton Jeanty:So you get the personal chef for what dinner in the in-season, but then the cafeteria, they're probably cooking up great stuff there too as well, right? Wonderful. Top tier. This has to be, is that the best part about being a professional athlete? It's got to be up there.

27:23Billy Gil:It's got to, it's up there for sure.

27:24Sheil Kapadia:Do they have stuff that you just take? Like you just take? Not like a criminal take, but like just like extra stuff. Like you hear there's just a bunch of Sharpies, right? Like what do they have? Like normal people at work, they'll see like, oh, you know what? I could use a couple of pens. You swipe a couple of pens, you go home with that. What do you take from an NFL facility? They have like everything.

27:39Billy Gil:I mean, for sure the clothes, like the shorts, you know, socks. They got this big drawer with a bunch of socks in there. I go in there every now and just, you know, take a bunch of pairs. All right.

27:49Ashton Jeanty:I made that life change recently where I used to wear the socks in the morning. Then I'd come back and I would stuff them in the shoe. You know, my parents, first generation Americans. We're getting one. But now I'm like, you know what? I got a paycheck. I'm not. If I wore it outside once and they're a little sweaty, I'm changing them. It's done for, huh? You don't do that?

28:06Sheil Kapadia:Yeah. No, I can't say I do that. You change socks multiple times in a day. Absolutely. That's crazy.

28:11Ashton Jeanty:That's crazy? Yeah, well, right now I will say. You know, it's so warm in here. I don't want to get too in. Again, it's our first time talking to you, so I don't want to do it. You can't go too far. Yeah. We can't go too far. But all right. There you go.

28:24Sheil Kapadia:Do you avoid the game just because you're one of those guys that's like, I don't want to go to a Super Bowl until I'm in the Super Bowl? There's players that do that.

28:31Billy Gil:I wouldn't say it's because of that. I just don't really have an interest to go to the game. You just want to get out of here. I just want to be at home. It's enough football. Enough already. How much football can you watch?

28:40Ashton Jeanty:I know, right? He's at the game. They got food, but it's not great.

28:45Sheil Kapadia:the chef cook something up yeah wait hold on a second if you're going home what's the party like

28:50Billy Gil:you have the chef cook up for everybody uh you know no i'm kind of selfish so i'm just he's just cooking for me i like that i love keeping them all to myself that's right everybody

28:59Sheil Kapadia:feed all the people around you fatty foods and have their bodies like fall apart they get whatever you should know what you gotta do this is what you gotta do when you're headed into like free agency what you do is you reach out to like the other free agents that are out there right other they're running backs, you say, you know what, I got this great chef. And then you pay him a little bit extra on the side so that he's feeding them horrible shit that their body's breaking down. So when you head into free agency, you're in the best shape, and they're all eating, like, overweight, a little bit slower, bloated.

29:27Sheil Kapadia:Because he's your guy.

29:28Billy Gil:I mean, that's a good point. I don't know if I could get all that done. If you want. He's going to be fine. He doesn't need that help.

29:35Sheil Kapadia:Be in contact with someone. I'll do the dirty work. We'll leave it up to you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll make the call.
