In short
The host argues the left and mainstream media are misrepresenting events around 9/11 and Islam, and he claims an “AI slowdown” panic is an inorganic media/government power grab. He also criticizes Democrats’ approach to terrorism language and court reform, and promotes a pro-Trump stance on AI regulation.

2:15all right everybody i'm dave rubin this is the rubin report it's september 14th 2026 and fear not you do not have time shift disorder we are an hour late today i normally don't have to start the show with an apology but i will apologize today i'll not only apologize i will also say thank you for bearing with us i had my monthly appointment at the orthopedist this morning to look at my separated ac joint which as you can see the bump is still there and well connor you can show the image of the x-ray see on the right you can see the collarbone basically attached over there pretty close so that's what keeps your your collarbone down and on the left it is just way up there and the ligaments are just not doing what they need to do there's probably too much scar tissue and I will be having surgery we tried we did everything I did the stem cells I've done all the therapy I did exosomes I've done red light massages by my girl April a couple miles away we did everything you got to do your own happy ending and well, I'm going to have to have surgery.
3:22Probably not going to do it until March, but let's leave that there. There's a ton to get to. So anyway, thank you for bearing with us. And again, apologies for all that stuff. And if you've just been sitting, I mean, what would you be doing? People are probably just sitting at their computer for an hour, just staring at a blank screen because there's nothing else happening on the internet or in the news, is there? I don't know. Anyway, let's get to it. There's a lot to hit up. A huge story that's been breaking all morning around all this AI craziness. And we covered it last week, basically, Anthropic, this leaker suddenly announcing that, oh, my God, the robots are going to turn on Skynet is here.
3:54The Terminator is coming to kill everybody. And well, long story short, the government is here to save us. So we're going to dive into that. We're also going to show you a clip of Bill Maher just doing an absolutely bang up job on the state of the left on his on on real time on Friday night, but we will start because obviously Friday was September 11th. There were a couple things that I wanna just touch on that'll lead us into the Marr clip. First, let's show you, this is video as the names, as they do this every year. This was obviously a big anniversary at 25 years, but as they do every year at the 9-11 Memorial, they read all of the names of the victims.
4:36Last year, I was at the 9-11 Memorial, I was at the specific Cantor Fitzgerald one. That's the company that Howard Lutnick ran. His brother died, 600 and I think 38 employees died, where they do a separate reading of that. It was deeply, deeply emotional and sort of, it's very hard to describe what it's even like to be in that room with the survivors, the wives, the children, the brothers, the sisters, et cetera. But this was the main one where they read all 2 ,900 plus names. and Zorhan Mamdami was there with AOC and their emotions were, I guess you could call this slightly dysregulated.
5:16All right, so look, it was just a moment, but big smiles and laughing and she's leaning into him while quite literally people are crying. Obviously, the internet went kind of crazy with it. And, you know, you can judge it for what it is. It's not one of these things that I'm going to say is the worst. Look, it's bad. I'm not going to say it's not bad. It's bad. It's disgusting. Like, okay, you know, we've all been to funerals. You know, when you go to a funeral and you see somebody, you know, you kind of nod at them, you look down, whatever you can acknowledge them, but laughing like as if they did not understand what the optics of this would be.
6:03And as several people pointed out on Twitter, it's like, well, they're kind of laughing because they don't, I don't think they really care. I think that's right. I don't really think they care about the victims. I don't really think they care about what happened. I think they'd like to use everything around 9-11 for their own purposes, which is becoming very obvious. The Nwokeness account on X put this up, Zorhan Mandami at a 9-11 memorial, and there he is smiling versus giving a speech about Islamophobia. And it is worth re-upping that speech. You may remember this a couple of months ago, Zorhan tearing up while telling us about his auntie who suffered from some sort of Islamophobia, except the whole story turned out not to be true.
6:53I want to speak to the memory of my aunt.
7:01who stopped taking the subway after September 11th because she did not feel safe in her hijab. Okay, so I'll explain how that story is made up in just a second. But imagine, now it's fake, right? It's performative, he's an actor. But note he can't even gin up that level of acting or performance for any of the 9-11 victims, right? It would be almost impossible to imagine him doing that. It is worth noting that Masuma Mamdami, his aunt, his auntie, Her LinkedIn and professional records list her as a senior program development officer for Amref Health Africa in Tanzania from January 2000 to December 2003.
7:40She was not in the United States at the time of the attacks. Also, all the public photos of her do not show her in a hijab. So, well, you know, he probably just made that story up. But this, of course, is consistent with the idea that they want you to be emoting over things that you probably shouldn't emote about. They want you to feel guilty over things that you probably shouldn't feel guilty about. And the reason for all of that, of course, is so that they can come in and tell you how you should feel and what you should do and how much money you can make and much more. Fortunately, most New Yorkers, I think at least in this specific instance, were not falling for it this year.
8:21at the Yankees Mets game over the weekend. Well, first off, there you go. We're getting some NYPD, FDNY hats. I mean, you can just think back, for those of you that remember it, that George W. Bush throwing out that first pitch, just absolutely amazing after 9-11. Here is a video of a man who was, of course, waving the Palestinian flag on the anniversary of 9-11, but the fans were not having it.
8:57USA! USA! USA! USA! So the U.S.A. USA! USA! USA! Well, you don't have to hit the security guys with the sodas. But beyond that, yes, the chance of USA, great. Look, everywhere there is a Palestinian flag in whatever country it is. It's a country that never existed, designed to destroy countries that do exist. And until the host countries realize that, these people will keep trying to destroy everything. But the people are waking up. So that is nice. Now, also, people did, on the anniversary of 9-11, protest outside of Mamdami's house. Now, Mamdami, of course, a man who, as you know, spoke at a mosque where just a few moments later, the imam called for death to the infidels.
9:51This is a man who wants to arrest Bibi Netanyahu, who has an endless obsession with Jews and Israel. He's trying to usher in socialism. He hangs out with Hassan Piker, who said America deserves 9-11. We could go on and on and on. So people are not happy about it. On top of the fact that I just saw this morning, maybe we can get the numbers, rents in New York are now at an all-time high. Like, it's not going well there. They're not getting the free grocery stores. all of this stuff. So a whole bunch of people protested outside of his house on 9-11. This is also someone that talks about his Muslim faith all the time.
10:24That is true, usually trying to guilt us into not criticizing him, which isn't working. But I wanted to read you this tweet by Van Jones. Now, Van Jones, as you know, CNN contributor, and he's always trying to play the good liberal, but in the end, just never gets it. And this is the type of person that must wake up now because listen to this nonsensical drivel from Van Jones. There were a bunch of idiots out there yesterday protesting New York City Mayor Mamdami on the 25th anniversary of 9-11. Not because of his policies, not because of his agenda, not because of his actions, not because of anything he has ever said or done, but simply because of who he is, a Muslim, in a city struck by Islamic terrorists a quarter century ago.
11:07This protest was one of the stupidest, most un-American things anyone could ever take part in. It was a despicable act of anti-Muslim bigotry, plain and simple, and it had no place in New York City, yesterday or ever. Let me say this, the fact that 25 years after 9-11, New Yorkers elected a young Muslim to lead their city is something everyone in this country should be proud of. Not because everyone should embrace his policies, but because of what his victory suggests about this country. Regardless how anyone felt about Mamdami's policy proposals, prejudice against his faith did not stop a majority of voters from giving him a chance to lead the city.
11:41That is a good thing. His victory is proof that hate does not win. If you want to make America great, start by honoring the fact that a great city and a great nation could rise above knee-jerk prejudice and elect a young Muslim within living memory of that attack. That fact is something we can all be proud of. It should enhance and elevate our commemorations. The bigots who protested in Mondami did carry American flags, but they were not American patriots. True patriots don't just love America in the abstract, they also love Americans in the real world, regardless of their race, religion, or creed.
12:11If you despise or distrust a feral American solely because of how they pray, then you should leave old glory at home when you attend your next rally. A Nazi flag is the more appropriate banner from you. That is such a lot of words, Van. I'm very impressed with all the words. That is just pure, ridiculous, endless drivel. I only tweeted once over the weekend. It was Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, and I felt I didn't want to start the New Year off just fighting with people on Twitter. I did tweet one thing and I ratioed this guy to high hell. I wrote, that's a nice work of fiction, Van. How do you know it had nothing to do with what he has said?
12:46Or who he pals around with? Or his obsessive hate of Israel slash Jews? Or the fact that they don't want America to become socialist? You made that up so as to come off as a good lib while you usher in the very ideas that will destroy liberalism. Happy to discuss further anytime. So Van, I'm gonna actually, as I've tried to do with you a couple times on this show, I'm gonna take it slightly easy on you here because I am more than happy to have a conversation. You have a show, I'm not sure if he has a show. His show, my show, live, unedited, blah, blah, blah. But everything you said there, that was a story that had nothing to do with anything that offers evidence.
13:21You don't know that the people outside there were protesting just because he's Muslim. You're telling me if he was a capitalist and he was doing good things for the city and believed in law and order and what didn't have an obsessive hatred of Israel and want to arrest Bibi. and all of the stuff and things were going well and rents were going sky high. You think all of these people would have been out there on the anniversary of 9-11 protesting him? That's complete nonsense. You just made up a story. That is all you did to call a bunch of people who are fighting for the right ideas of America that are antithetical to this guy's ideas to call them a bunch of bigots.
13:57That's exactly what you did. Can we get the, you know, maybe we'll do it tomorrow, but the day or two before Charlie was assassinated, Van Jones was on CNN blaming Charlie Kirk for white supremacy, right? Like, so this is not a guy with a great track record, but for some reason the good behaving liberals, they just, oh, it sounded, look at all the words he put in that, it all sounds so nice. But now I'm gonna contrast that with an actual good liberal who is getting to the end of the road. And yes, you can guess, I'm either talking about Fetterman or Bill Maher, in this case, it's Bill Maher, Bill Maher on Friday nights real time.
14:33He's there. Again, I don't know which way Bill will vote, and I'll nudge him and poke him and try to get him there come November. I really will, to whatever extent what I say matters to him. However, what Bill is realizing, he sat down with J.D. Vance, what, six weeks ago and said, I could vote for you because that's how out of control the Democrat party is. This is a guy who was, I think, in a lawsuit with Donald Trump a couple years ago, right? But here he is, as opposed to doing what Vance just did there, which is that people have plenty, a laundry list of good reasons to not like Zorhan Mandami, all of his policies, all right, you guys get it.
15:09Instead of just saying that they're a bunch of bigots because they don't like that one specific guy, well, here's Bill just calling out the entire left on how they have behaved as it relates to terrorism, 9-11, cries of genocide, and much more. Take love.
15:31So much has changed since 9-11. For example, back then, we were against the terrorists.
15:41Really, no cap. Now, a lot of media outlets don't even want you to say the T-word. On the 20th anniversary, four American journalism associations put out guidance that said that terrorism should only be used in quotes because it's emotionally and politically loaded. Yeah, so is the World Cup, but we don't put soccer in quotes.
16:11Really? We can't anymore just say out loud who the bad guys were that morning? Those 19 hijackers? They shared something. Oh, let's call it a worldview. And it wasn't astrology. Yeah, and that is right. He's getting, well, he's been there for quite some time, at least on this topic, because he happens to be a liberal atheist. And he knows that in certain places where there are certain sets of ideas, they're not very kind, let's say, to liberal atheists. But what Bill is also realizing is he's, the mainstream media has lied about everything for so long. And now on the anniversary of 9-11, I think the New York Times ran three pieces on the anniversary of 9-11 about Islamophobia.
16:57the irrational fear of Islam, except tell me, is it irrational to fear a set of ideas if you were an atheist that might kill you, right? Or if you were gay, or if you were just a nominal Muslim, or if you wanted to leave the faith? None of that is irrational. It's not irrational to fear some people that might kill you, right? And it's also not bigotry when you have a whole list of reasons you don't like somebody to go protest them. That's what Van doesn't realize, that Bill absolutely does. Bill went on to explain a bit more about how the BBC is not letting people use the word terrorist. You wouldn't want to upset people who are blowing things up, would you?
17:37I mean, after all, as the BBC advised its reporters, using the word terrorist can be a, quote, barrier rather than an aid to understanding. You know what's really a barrier to understanding? lying.
17:54Yeah, that's right. A barrier to understanding is lying. And you know where they need barriers? They need them outside of quite literally every synagogue in the United States right now because they are afraid of people blowing them up. They need them outside of all sorts of civil places now as well, right? We see this everywhere. What happens in Europe all the time? these cars that plow into Christmas pavilions in Germany, etc., etc., so they need barriers. Is it because they're mean or they're Islamophobic or they're bigots? Van? I don't think so. I don't think it is. But of course, what Bill is really getting to at sort of a meta level is that the left side of the aisle has lost their mind.
18:40And as they are losing their mind, they are going to ramp up the fear and they are going to ramp up the craziness so that you will turn to them and say, save me, save me. We will have more on that in just a second. But speaking of the BBC, will Donald Trump win his BBC lawsuit? Here's what the Kalshi markets are showing. You guys know the Kalshi's like buying or selling a stock, except the line isn't set by an algorithm working against you. It moves based on where the money goes. It shows where people are putting their money, not what the media wants you to believe. If you put$100 on yes, you can earn$395 if correct.
19:13Download the CallSheet app, use code REUBENREPORT to get 25 bucks when you trade 25. CallSheet, put your money where your prediction is. All right, so let's continue with the theme for just a moment because to the backdrop of 9-11, you can imagine just all the awful people were doing all the ridiculous things. So Abdul Al-Sayed, the Egyptian running for Senate in Michigan who hangs out with Hassan Piker who thought that America deserved 9-11 and has repeatedly said it. Of course, he uses 9-11 to attack his opponent, Mike Rogers. The guy I'm up against, he was in Congress for 14 years. In fact, he was in Congress on that day, 25 years ago, when 3 ,000 of our fellow Americans were killed in a terrorist attack.
20:07And rather than vote to make sure that the brave first responders who ran into the rubble that day to save lives rather than to make sure that they had health care he voted not once but twice against giving them ah so el saeed he must really care about these people right he really doesn't like the hijackers and he doesn't share any of their same grievances with america or anything else mike rogers what must be a bad guy well i heard that video and it took me about a half a second to turn to Joseph over here and he's on the computer. And I said, well, why would it be that Mike, is Mike Rogers just a mean man who doesn't want first responders to get aid and health?
20:49And it's like, nothing is that obviously stupid, man. So actually Mike Rogers did not support the 9-11 Zadroga Act because he opposed creating a permanent mandatory spending program, argued it could hurt the country's financial health. He said he supported helping 9-11 victims and first responders, but preferred funding their care through annual congressional appropriations instead of a permanent federal program. So once again, you can argue that these people should have got more money and better help and all of those things. You can also argue that we needed nonprofits to do more. And I'm sure Al-Sayed, isn't he supposed to be a doctor?
21:28I'm guessing he's never helped anybody. His wife's a therapist who doesn't take Medicare. Maybe she could have offered some psychiatric services to these people, but of course they don't. Mike Rogers, when you're a member of the Senate and the Congress and you have to vote on things, you have to decide. It's not, oh, I wanna screw over first responders from 9-11, or do I wanna have a government program that will grow and grow and grow and grow and grow and grow and grow and grow. Now, of course, the other thing that these people have done, they have just all attached themselves to this ridiculous Twitch streaming buffoon who, as I've told you before, I used to play basketball with every Sunday, and he was a total ball hog, Hassan Piker.
22:04Also, he's called 9-11. He said, America deserved 9-11. Electrocutes his dog. What else did this guy do? Electrocutes his dog. Oh, he told his audience how to build suicide drones instead of, he used to be fat, I'm being told. Grew up rich in Turkey, okay. There's a lot of stuff with this guy, but they've all attached themselves to him, And here's Scott Jennings doing a little smackdown on Michigan State Senator Mallory McMorrow because she disavowed him, but it didn't quite well. It didn't exactly work out. Take a look.
22:45Do people in Michigan think America deserve 9-11? Absolutely not. And why does your Senate campaign's top sargen go around saying that? Listen, hold on. May I? That's on the ballot in Michigan, too. No, it's not. because I, hold on. And yet Michigan, why does your guy campaign like that? I famously was the candidate in the Senate race who disavowed Hassan Piper. And then you were famously out of the race. And it didn't matter. And it didn't matter. And it didn't matter. Real quick. Yes, you were famously out of the race. The point there is when she's trying to make, oh, it's not about this guy.
23:19See, they're all running from him now. So they all ran with him, right? Bernie was with him. Al-Sayed was with him. Mick Mallory was with him. They're all with him. Then, oh, it turns out, well, he thought America deserved 9-11, da-da-da-da-da, electrocuting the dog. It didn't pass the Dave Rubin on the fast break. Then they suddenly, they suddenly are like, oh, well, maybe we got to separate from this guy. That is the point. Now, Mike Rogers, by the way, Mike Rogers is a decent American. I think it is pretty freaking obvious. As you know, Thursday and Friday, we had the Republican midterm convention.
23:54And here is video of Mike Rogers doing a little comparing and contrasting with Abdul Al-Sayed. He's a con man. I'm a law man.

24:09He wants to apologize for America. I want to defend America. He wants to represent Palestine. I want to represent Michigan.
24:23And when the radical Islamic terrorists threaten Americans, we don't need a senator searching for excuses. We need a senator hunting them. September 11th isn't something that we deserved, no matter what Abdul's buddies say. Look, there's a couple of things here. The choice is so freaking obvious in Michigan, right? This is an interesting election because it's obvious. And by the way, it's not just Michigan. Look what's going on in Texas, right? If you're in that, I keep saying it, they say 12 % of the people in Texas are still undecided, right? You don't have to think Paxton's an all-star to realize that Tallarico is a leftist nutbag.
25:07So if you're in that 12%, make up your freaking mind. Do you want Texas to remain Texan? Do you want America to continue? and Michigan has a more stark version of that and Mike Rogers is completely right. So I can't sit here and tell you, I know a hundred things about Mike Rogers, about how perfect he is, but he's gonna be pretty decent and in line with American values and all of that, rather than Al-Sayed. And Michigan, like, you are pretty damn close. Like, don't screw this thing up. Now, the other thing that was really nice, actually, at the Republican convention, was that RFK Jr. went up there.
25:46And I'm very proud of the moment, which is why I say it all the time, but the first time I had him on the show when he was still running as a Democrat, I said to him, I don't know if you're gonna be a Republican by the end of this thing, but I know you won't be a Democrat. And his eyes kind of lit up. And now here he is. Well, subsequently he gets basically booted out of the Democrat party because they wouldn't let him be in the primaries against Biden. They were taking his name off ballots, everything else that they tried to destroy him with, ends up obviously bringing Maha over to MAGA. And now here he is at the Republican convention talking a bit about how absolutely insane his former party that his name, Kennedy, used to be so attached to.
26:27They excluded me from the debates. They canceled the primaries. The Democratic Party changed the rules to make sure I could not win and neither could the other people who were running as Democrats. no matter how many votes we got. And for the first time in history, they canceled their own convention. No voter ever cast a primary ballot for Kamala Harris. No elected delegate was ever consulted. A party of no kings simply anointed a queen. What's crazy about that is you guys could still have that man, but you don't want him in your party. It doesn't matter that he's actually just an old school liberal.
27:13You don't care that he's sane, you don't care that he cares about people's health or anything else. You all pushed him out through corruption and demanding that everybody bow to everything. And then what you did was then push him to the right and then put him in what I'm always talking about, the wide tent Republican party, the wide tent MAGA movement. So Bobby Kennedy may personally disagree with Donald Trump, let's say on abortion or something like that, but it fully makes sense that they are both Republicans right now. And that shows what a good, solid, sound wide tent can be versus what the Democrats keep saying is, which was we have a big tent because we just let every competing interest and every psycho in here and we let in the arsonists and they're burning down the tent while the other guy's hacking away at the freaking, like, you know, the bars that are holding the tent up, the tent poles.
28:06It's nuts. So what are the Democrats gonna do? Because they have a group of people who are like avowed socialists, right? Bernie went from Democrat socialist to now he's an avowed socialist. You have guys like, we covered this last week, but you have guys like Gavin Newsom who are complete lefty, awful maniacs, but they're not fully in it with the jihad crew. And I would put Pete Buttigieg in there. They really, and they've been giving him Barack Obama linguistic training so that he sounds exactly like Obama. But here he is, given standard lefty talking points. And what are standard lefty talking points?
28:41Well, we don't get everything that we want, so we've got to break the system, pack the courts, et cetera, et cetera. Mr. Secretary, do you support adding seats to the Supreme Court, and how many? Yes, I talked about this years ago when I was running for president. At the time, it was a pretty lonely position. People were looking at me funny when I was talking about reforming the Supreme Court. I think with the years that have come in between, a lot more people are onto that idea because it has become a nakedly partisan institution. Well, any strategy to make sure that Democrats win nationwide and in these key races has to include making sure that we engage and support and turn out black communities, especially at a moment like this where the Republican project of systematically dismantling black political representation, especially in the South, has hit home in the wake of that horrific Supreme Court decision gutting the Voting Rights Act.
29:37So you get what he's saying there. I don't like what the Supreme Court does sometimes, so I want to destroy the court. We've been through this a million times. You know, when the Supreme Court laid out, what was it, right before I went off the grid, it was like end of June-ish, or maybe it was middle of July. When the Supreme Court laid out a bunch of decisions, some of them leaned left, some of them leaned right. I actually had Joseph just check right now. If you looked at the last 20 Supreme Court decisions, 13 have leaned in the more conservative bucket and seven have leaned in the more liberal bucket.
30:08And that ebbs and flows over the years. But you've never, you never, when conservatives don't get what they want through the courts, you never hear people saying, we will destroy the courts. What the Democrats are saying is if we don't get what we want, we will destroy it. Which as I always tell you, it's literally the ending of every G.I. Joe cartoon. Cobra Commander does some crazy thing. I've got my weather machine and if I can't have it, nobody can. That was a terrible, I turned him more into like Wyatt Earp or something. If I can't, I can't do it right now. It's all right. I'll get back to you on a Cobra Commander impression tomorrow.
30:40But the point is they are telling us. Oh, and also we're systematically, what was it? Systematically dismantling black representation. Oh, because you know, when we did the gerrymandering in Tennessee, what was it? Out of that black district. Oh, Steve Cohen. Yeah, that sounds like a black guy. Yeah, he got booted. It's all so idiotic. Speaking of idiotic, here's Timu Obama and same thing as Pete. It's like, you don't like the courts? We're gonna pack the courts. Here's Jeffries. Well, you know, we don't know what we're gonna impeach Trump over, but we'll figure it out. You said hold the crooks accountable.
31:18Does that mean that the House is gonna be pursuing impeachment proceedings on day one? No, we haven't ruled anything in and we haven't ruled anything out in terms of impeachment. As it relates to accountability, what we're going to do, led by Jamie Raskin and House Committee Democrats on the Judiciary Committee, as well as House Democrats on the Oversight Committee, led by Robert Garcia. Both of them are doing a tremendous job. We've got to follow the facts, apply the law, be guided by the Constitution and then let the chips fall where they may. I'm telling you, we're going to we're going to get to the AI thing in a second.
31:49He is not a real person. and that is a robot or an android or an alien living in that body. That is not the way a real person speaks. It's too prepackaged. Something's not right. But again, are you gonna, well, first off, Stephanopoulos, who worked for Bill Clinton, and then of course becomes head of news over at ABC. Are you gonna impeach him? Well, we'll figure it out. Like, yeah, you're gonna figure it out. The day the Democrats get into power next, not just impeach Trump, they will come after everybody. And we best watch out for that. We're gonna get to the AI story, which is just absolutely exploding right now.
32:23But let me talk to you about Plaud real quick. Put it in my hand, would you? Thank you very much. Have you ever finished a conversation? There you go. An interview or a meeting and realized later that the most important part wasn't what you forgot, it was what you never wrote down in the first place. That's why I've been checking out Plaud, an AI-powered note-taking device built to capture the conversations and ideas you don't wanna lose. For people who spend their day in meetings, calls, and interviews, the Plaud Note Pro is built for that, but the device I've been using mostly is the Plod Note Pin S.
32:51I've got it right here. It's a small wearable device that clips onto your shirt and stays with you throughout the day. There, I just turned mine on. No pulling out your phone, no opening apps, no interrupting the moment just because you wanna remember something later. Whether it's an interview, a conversation, a quick idea or a voice note to yourself, it's always ready when something important comes up. When, what I like about this is it fits naturally in how you work. You can clip it right on your lapel right there. It captures conversations, organizes key takeaways. and if I need something later, I can ask Plaud a question and pull up the detail I'm looking for.
33:21If your days are driven by conversations, ideas, and information, Plaud is worth checking out. Check out plaud.ai slash Rubin and use code Rubin for up to 20 % off. And watch now as my automated Android takes these things off the table right there. Okay, go charge yourself. Now let's get into this AI thing because this is the story of the day and there is something around this. When I was telling you about this story, I think on Thursday, everything about it feels inorganic. It feels like an op. It feels like a government power grab. It feels there's markings. And I started seeing people saying it on Twitter today.
33:58This feels in a weird way, like the beginning of COVID. Nobody really understands what's going on, but government, please help us lock me in my house. Make me eat Chinese food and watch porn all day. Like something is not right about this. I am telling you. So of course, this story really blew up last week because a low-level employee at Anthropic, which is one of the big AI companies, basically put out a statement, a long Twitter thread, saying that they're racing to destroy humanity and they can't control the power that they have and it must be regulated. And then suddenly a whole bunch of, mostly Democrats, started retweeting it.
34:36It got written up in the Wall Street Journal. Something just felt very inorganic and fake about the entire thing. oh, and Bernie Sanders magically had legislation ready to go on it. So something did not seem right now. There's been a ton of fallout. So now I want to read a tweet from Anthropic CEO Dario Omidai. He wrote, we must pace the frontier. I've written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down with a three-part plan for doing so. Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We'll provide third-party evaluators with permanent employee-level access to our systems so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidences, and assess models alignment during training.
35:19You can read the full post here. And then he wrote a big essay there and here. I'll give you a little bit more from the essay. It's my worry that in six to 12 months, such a swarm could be capable of taking over the entire internet with a persistent botnet, potentially causing hundreds of billions of dollars in damages. Okay, we can all sort of, and for any of you that do the sci-fi thing, you can figure out a million ways that, okay, all this artificial intelligence could start doing all these things and turning on switches and rockets are going to be flying all over the place and Skynet will turn on and we'll bomb this and we'll, okay, we can all do all of that.
35:49But isn't it rather interesting that Dario here wrote this piece just days after a kid, a kid, it's a kid who worked at the company for about two months, had this whistleblower thing. And next thing you know, the CEO of Anthropics suddenly is saying, we're going to pace ourselves and we would like third parties to come in and do it. Now, no one was stopping you from doing that before. Also, you guys are racing towards IPO in the next month or two. We'll have more on this in a second, but that seems very odd to me. We're trying to go for IPO. Also, we're gonna destroy the world. Also, we need someone to control us.
36:26Something just feels freaking crazy. And then of course, he's now doing the media round. So here he is on CBS and he can't believe that he's building this thing. How did he, a private guy, do it? How did he even end up with the job? It seems like the fate of humanity is at risk. How much personal responsibility do you feel about where we are going? My view here is it has always been very strange that this technology is being built by a private company. People ask me that question all the time. Why isn't this being built by government? And the strangest thing about it is I agree with them. I'm uncomfortable.
37:03Would you be willing to give up the technology to the government? To the right combination of governments. So the worry I have... You're willing to hand over this company? I want to be very clear about this. I think a combination of democratically elected governments, I don't know about handing over, but some kind of oversight, some kind of joint governance, again, that would be the work of years. But I wonder if that's the direction we need to go in. This guy strikes me as just a total fraud. Something is not right here. Again, he could have been warning. He's said a few things about this over time.
37:43By the way, Elon Musk has warned. So it's not that I'm not dismissing this, right? As a sci-fi guy, I'm not dismissing all the things that could happen with robots and everything else. But suddenly he's making the media rounds because a two-month, 23-year-old employee decides to ring the bell on this thing. And what does he want? What does he want? Well, first off, he thinks that a straight, it's strange that a private company is doing this. Oh yeah, because the government's really great at innovating, right? Like the government's really just amazing at figuring out technology. Ever been on a government website?
38:12Remember how well the Obamacare website worked out? Like the government's still using dot matrix printers. Remember those?
38:21That was pretty good. Also, he handed over to the government, or what was it, right consortium, right group of governments? Doesn't that sound like globalism? So you're gonna create some technology that could destroy the world and humanity. You're gonna hand it over to a nice group of governments and they'll control it. I just can't, I just literally don't understand how someone years after we have been through the hangover of COVID would be like, govern me more, please. You guys, government is so good and they're looking out for me. Sure, they injected me with this thing and grandma dropped dead and this and that and my son's got an enlarged heart, but they'll stop the robots.
39:03That seems really great. In this case, I would go back to simple wisdom. And as you know, Ronald Reagan nailed it in nine simple words. I think you all know that I've always felt the nine most terrifying words in the English language are, I'm from the government and I'm here to help. Right, so think about it in this case. Again, not dismissing any of the concerns. I can accept that there are reasons that the super intelligence may have ultimately, watch the alien movies, the last couple, what was the last alien movie? Not the, what was the last they had, Prometheus, and what was the follow up to Prometheus, Alien Covenant?
39:44Like, if you watch these movies, the idea that eventually the robots that we will create just won't even need us anymore. I can get on board all of that. But if your idea is that government regulators are going to wander into these companies and figure out how to stop it. Or even if United States government employees with their government hats and their government laminated little sign, if they could do it, you don't think China's gonna keep moving forward? You don't think they're gonna be doing this all over the world? And then we will be behind. And why would you not wanna be behind on AI? Because AI is going to literally help us go to other planets.
40:18AI is going to quite literally cure cancer. It is going to do things that we actually cannot even imagine. the way we will, it's literally everything, the way we will combine AI with robotics to build roads and houses and clean the environment and clean the water. So do we wanna fall behind all of the other countries that will not regulate themselves? So that was Ronald Reagan on the general notion, right, of what the government does. And in essence, he's saying these guys screw up everything. Well, fortunately, Donald Trump, about an hour ago, put this up on Truth. He wrote, the only control or guardrails that AI needs is a strong and smart, high IQ president, and the USA has that in spades.
41:01The Trump administration has stopped AI people from doing bad or potentially bad things like Dario, Anthropic, who is now pretending to be a perfect little angel and will continue to do so. We already have tremendous criminal and regulatory power over those companies. There is a sick conspiracy going on against AI and data centers, and the only one that is happy about it is China. Whoever wins AI wins. We are leading China and all others and will continue to do so. Conspiracy theorists, treasonists, traitors and leakers beware. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President Donald J. Trump.
41:37So again, you just gotta think about it this way. Let's say, let's try it this way. There's a problem, right? We all recognize this. No, not a problem. You have a technology and like anything else, like hammer or a fire. It can be used for good or bad. Fire can cook food for you, burn your house down. Hammer can hammer something in to fix. Oh, you have a little problem over there. I'm going to fix it with this hammer. Or you could bash your neighbor's head in for no reason. That would be bad. AI is the same thing. It is now a tool and we will have to decide how to do it. Now, could it get a little haywire?
42:08It could. So you have to decide, okay, do I think that the government or a consortium of governments should control it? Why is the government inherently better than private companies, right? And as Trump points out, actually, we have laws around certain things and they're not allowed to do criminal activities and everything else, now they may lose control of it, but also some kid sitting in his room who's 15 years old might figure all this stuff out while you're regulating the high hell out of the government or regulating the high hell out of these big companies. And of course, China is gonna keep moving forward.
42:40So then what happens this morning, surprise, surprise, from NBC, China dismisses AI slowdown, calls and blasts fear-mongering from US tech leaders. Beijing rejected the growing calls to curb the technology's development as part of an American Cold War playbook. I don't say this often, but I agree with China here. This seems pretty obvious to me. So again, best intentions all wrapped up together. So let's say we do it. We slow down AI, we regulate our companies, even if we could, I don't even think we can, but even if we could, we do all that, we hamper them, we regulate them, we put on all sorts of different hoops that they have to jump through to accomplish anything.
43:24And okay, China is going to move forward. Do you want China with rocket ships first? Do you want China literally curing cancer first or all of the other things that AI and technology is going to bring us? You want China to be in charge? Well, congratulations, you'll hand it to them on a silver platter. Now this kid, again, who worked in Anthropic for two months at a low-level job who writes this piece, magically gets it in the Wall Street Journal, suddenly is on every TV station the other day. He's still making the rounds. He went over on the televised mental institution known as MS Now, and here he is again ramping up the fear over the company that he worked for.
44:01In terms of concrete scenarios, these AIs are already capable of a certain degree of hacking and also a certain degree of biological research, of autonomous robot control. And if you extrapolate into the future, they could have strongly superhuman hacking capabilities, very superhuman abilities to create novel bioweapons, and also abilities to control, say, autonomous drones or all the robots that are currently being built very rapidly. Do you have any sense of whether people in government get it? Because we've all seen, you know, you have 9-11 or big events, and then you have a reaction. It could be a foreign policy and government reaction for years.
44:36But tragically, putting the details aside, sometimes it takes a a big event for government to then say, oh my God, we gotta do something. Yeah, one of the things that people are the most worried about is maybe it takes some sort of tragedy for people to take the dangers of AI seriously. We should be playing the parts that I'm saying while these videos are playing. This is just pure lunacy. This is pure, everyone has known at some level that is involved in AI that all these things can happen. Again, Skynet could turn on. and they're gonna start replicating them. So all of these things. So now, but suddenly, suddenly everybody, including the people going to IPO because they want regulatory capture around it.
45:18They basically want to be the ones, we'll work with the government to control the entire thing and everyone else doing it, you're gonna be regulated into high health. Nothing he said there was novel or new or anything else. Now here's his CEO. Again, he was a two month low level employee at Anthropic, but suddenly he said something. And now the CEO is just out there agreeing with him on everything, making the rounds. It's just all the craziest coincidence ever. Who's booking these people? I need to hire them. It's funny. I agree with Jacob much more than I disagree with him. You know, and it's, you know, it's an interesting resignation because when he left, he said, you know, I think Anthropic is the most responsible player, right?
46:00I think Anthropic is the most aware of these issues. He wasn't calling out us. He was calling out the dynamic of the industry as a whole moving too fast. Well, that's interesting because he worked for you. And if you've been so sort of in line with these fears, you'd think he would have been able to get in touch with you to talk about it. He wouldn't have had to resign and then somehow put out a Twitter thread with no followers that got millions of views. And again, next thing you know, Bernie Sanders. Bernie Sanders, who's never done anything. Bernie Sanders, who undoubtedly would put a DVD into a VCR.
46:41Bernie Sanders is going, and now it's turning out, we can get more on this in a minute, you can check me on this. It sounds like the legislation that Bernie has actually was written in the UK, and the UK and most of Europe has regulated themselves into oblivion when it comes to innovating anything. Something is rotten in stink town. So as opposed to showing you all the people who are getting it wrong, I'm gonna show you a bunch of people getting it right in just a second. about Chapter, guys, you know, Medicare is one of the things that can get incredibly confusing, incredibly fast. There are a ton of plans, a ton of print, and most people don't have the time to sit there and figure out whether they're actually on the right one.
47:14That's where Chapter comes in. Chapter has independent Medicare advisors who compare every plan nationwide and help you find the plan that best fits your needs, your doctors, and your prescriptions. They're not there to pressure you into switching just for the sake of it. If you're already on the right plan, they'll tell you, and if you're not, they'll walk you through your options and help you make a change. Historically, seniors who work with Chapter have saved an average of$1 ,100 a year. The call is completely free, there's no pressure to sign up and they can review your options in under 20 minutes.
47:41So don't leave your Medicare coverage on autopilot. Call Chapter today at 332-867-0207. Again, that's 332-867-0207. Okay, so now I wanna show you, and it's so interesting how things line up. You know, on Thursday when the story was breaking and we were basically doing the show in an hour, I was just putting all my thoughts together and Phoenix and I are putting the show together. And, you know, I'm like, I wonder who else is going to, like in the public sphere, is going to be on my side. And what it has seemed to me is that almost everyone who I consistently respect, play clips of on this, whether they're private citizens, tech people, politicians, everyone seems to be in the same space that I'm in.
48:21And I think that that shows something. It doesn't mean we're all right, but it shows you that there's a certain way you can look at the world. And then other people who look at the world in the same way when big issues come up, maybe don't go as crazy as everybody else. I saw Ron DeSantis even tweeting this morning how ridiculous this all is. And all the co-hosts of the All In podcast, and I play plenty of videos of these guys, and several of them are on Trump's Council of Advisors of Science and Technology, including this guy, David Friedberg. Here he is pushing back against this ridiculous fear-mongering around AI.
48:57And actually, does it remind you of a little something? Take a look. Al Gore published a movie called Inconvenient Truth, and he used these IPCC forecasts that as of now have been disproven, and many of the assumptions in those forecasts were not correct. A guy named Fauci, you guys may remember him, he told us all that COVID will kill us all, and as a result, we need to lock down the entire world. So everyone was locked in their houses, businesses were shut down. The government began spending wildly to keep people economically active, which had the adverse effect of driving inflation through the roof.
49:34And we now have a spiraling debt and spending problem in this country. I think we're in this hysteria phase of AI dumerism. I think once you're in this phase, it's very hard to get out because it basically becomes the default social system. Everyone says we are facing an existential threat. we are all going to die if we don't do something about it, if we don't stop it. Yeah, that's really good, Friedberg. It doesn't matter what you think about the specific issue. Just think about it this way. What's the script that has been given out to us over and over the years that eventually takes away our liberty, takes away our control, takes away our autonomy, and how do they get that script to us?
50:15Well, they get the script to us through fear. So he mentioned climate change in Al Gore, right? Well, and by the way, climate change in Al Gore or global warming in Al Gore, they used to tell it was global cooling back in the 70s, Time Magazine front cover. Then it became global warming. And then AOC told us we have 12 years to live. And that was 10 years ago. And Barack Obama told us the same thing. And now he has a house, a 30-acre house, in Martha's Vineyard right on the water. Like none of them believe it, but what happens? You scream about climate change for so long that we try to push through the Green New Deal and all of those government contracts go to their people.
50:51And then is anyone safer or warmer or cooler or whatever it is they wanna be? Probably not. COVID, I don't even have to explain it to you. Exact same thing. We're here to save you. We just made up six switch social distancing. We know masks don't work. Oh, Wuhan lab. No, it had nothing to do with Fauci funding that, like all of the stuff. And now it's the exact same thing. Oh my God, the robots are gonna turn on and kill everybody. We've been, people have been, you know, philosophizing and writing stories about this for 20 years, but suddenly on the exact same day, we all started blowing up this story.
51:23And now Bernie Sanders, a man who has accomplished nothing in his entire life other than getting three houses, is gonna come with a piece of legislation and save us. It's completely, completely wrong. So I was thrilled to see this. So another one of the all in guys, this is David Sachs, who is the czar of crypto and AI for Donald Trump. And here he is on how the doomers have been wrong and we just just don't fall for it again guys what is these people's track record of being correct I think it is worth asking them well again they these are the same people let's just go through it let's go through their track record okay these are the same people who said GPT-2 was too dangerous to release okay oh for one these are the same people who said thinking models were too dangerous to release remember you know what did Ilya see he saw you know the first reasoning model that was two dangerous solutions.
52:12Fable. Cybers. 0 for 2. Yeah. Okay. They said that - You're totally right. Fable. Fable is the cyber attacks. They said that this would cause cyber attacks that would bring down the whole banking system. Has not happened yet. There are cyber risks to be sure, but the best way of dealing with those cyber risks is by using AI swarms for cyber defense as well as cyber - White hat. Yes, exactly. Look, the only way to solve AI cyber attacks is with AI-powered cyber defense. We all know that. Yes. We have to get Saks on again soon. He is the most mature thinker as it relates to all of this. Like, first off, what is the track record of the people who have gotten everything wrong?
52:47Do you guys remember, those of you that are a certain age, why 2K? They literally told us that computer systems were gonna start failing because as the zero flipped around, they would think it's 1900 again. I know that sounds completely, year 1900. I know that sounds completely insane. On tomorrow's show when we cover this more, or can we get some of the news reporting on the Y2K stuff? That's literally what they thought, that government computers and corporation computers, they would flip, right? It would be 1999 and then it would flip and it was supposed to go to year 2000, but then it would revert everything back to 1900.
53:21And they were literally telling us planes were going to fall out of the sky, right? Your Nintendo was gonna turn on and eat you. That was what was going on. So these people have used fear and they've gotten everything wrong. And are we just gonna say, okay, I'm a little worried about AI and that's just fine, right? Smoked a little weed and I saw the matrix. So I'm freaking out right now, okay? But is that a reason to give the government control over AI while China is looking at us going, okay, go ahead and do that. You know how much faster we're gonna make number four? A lot faster. Here's David Sachs on how the job loss claims have been false and that Dario's just not telling anything.
53:58Nothing is new about this, which is why this is all so bizarre. then you look at the job loss claims where dario himself said that by now we'd be at half of all jobs to be gone into next year yeah yeah and uh overall unemployment levels of 10 to 15 percent yeah there's no evidence of that quite the contrary it's all been job gains economy is doing well so again like what are we on now over four so you know again these like doomers has moved from claim to claim. And as the last one gets refuted, they move on to the next one. And again, my point is, what has this guy told us that is new here? We're still struggling to get autocomplete for Python.
54:42You can't book a hotel room. That's actually the hardest one. Try to book a hotel room using AI. It does not work yet. You know, autocomplete on Python is pretty good. It's almost perfect. But it's going to kill us all. You know, that's kind of funny. Like, are any of you booking hotel rooms yet using AI? Like, I haven't been able to do it yet, right? Like, they told us nobody's gonna have a job. That hasn't happened yet. Like, things are moving along at a certain pace, but you will incorporate those tools into your life. I use Grok all the time right now. Like, I don't use, I don't Google anything.
55:16I have an endless conversation going on with Grok about what I'm eating, what my exercise is, what some, you know, a thought that I had about how I wanna analyze something on the show or just a random, I'm in a conversation with a friend and we just wanna think of a random reference. You can now have this agent that can work for you. You can also set up GrokBots and other agents. There's a gajillion cool things you can do and maybe their goal will not be to destroy everything tomorrow. I'm gonna guess. Here's Sax. He put out a long Twitter post that I think this is really, really excellent. So bear with me here.
55:50He wrote, Dario has written that we need to pace the frontier, and Sam, meaning Sam Altman, has agreed. People may be surprised by my response. Go ahead. You guys are the frontier. By any reasonable metric, market share, revenue growth, model capability, the two of you have a duopoly on frontier intelligence. You've also claimed the lead is widening because of recursive self-improvement. I don't see what you see in the lab. If the unreleased models are scary enough that you think you should slow down, I support your decision to be responsible. But stop pretending you need anyone else's permission, yes.
56:29Stop pretending antitrust law has to be suspended so you can form a cartel. Stop pretending you need a regulatory approval process that supersedes product liability. Stop pretending meter is independent when it's intertwined with Anthropics investors and staff. Stop pretending you need those same evaluators to police competitors who aren't even at the frontier. Most of all, stop pretending the motivation is to slow down, the motivation to slow down is purely altruistic. You face massive product liability exposure if your products enable a truly damaging cyber attack. The market already punishes models that behave in unpredictable or unauthorized ways.
57:09After the hugging face episode, it is simply good business for OpenAI and Anthropic to trade some raw power for reliability and predictability. Call it alignment if you want. It is also just giving customers what they want. Pacing the frontier would also create breathing room for a more intelligent conversation about regulation than Bernie Sanders, shut it all down. China is very unlikely to join a global agreement, as you know, and that has to be taken into account as well. So go ahead and pace the frontier. You are the one setting it. The easiest way not to build super intelligence is for you to agree not to build it.
57:47Demanding your preferred regulatory framework as the price of that will look like blackmail of the public and the political system. So just do it. If you do, you'll buy goodwill for the next conversation. If you don't, we'll know this was just another bid for regulatory capture or an election season psyop. My God, I agree with every single word of that. And he was not attacking. He was saying, okay, he was offering an off-ramp for you guys. Once you get regular, I'm so big, we're a huge company, we're doing amazing things, and we also might destroy the world. Please, government, come in and force us to be better.
58:25It doesn't even make sense. But again, what Sack said is right. So if you've seen some things over there, Anthropic, and you're like, my God, we are on the verge of having a robot that's gonna launch all the nukes and end the world, how about you announce that and then voluntarily take a pause? and then create the conditions so that Donald Trump is like, boy, I better have a giant meeting with Xi and every other world leader on how we're gonna do with this. But that's not what you're doing. What you're calling for is for yourself to be regulated. And that is a little bit bizarre. Might I offer another one from Naval Ravikant, who's an incredible angel investor as well.
59:03He wrote this, I'm not an AI doomer, but my firsthand experience dating back to 2020 is that the researchers expressing the concerns are sincere. The closer they are to the research, the more worried they seem to be. Okay, so I'm trying to give you every angle on this. I have nothing but respect for him, right? What he's saying is, okay, there's a bunch of people that are close to it and they're worried. Okay, well, if they're worried, Sachs' point is, then you guys are the experts. You guys run the companies that are doing this. You guys are leaps and bounds ahead of everybody else. Why don't you do something to fix it?
59:36But no, send in a government regulator with his little plastic hat and his laminated card. And I'm from the government and I'm here to help. Can I look at your algorithm? Okay, what time's lunch? Now, interestingly, Elon, who has been warning about all the, he loves all the dystopian stuff as much as me. He's been warning about all of this for years while also moving ahead on all of these things. And as you know, robo-taxis are now out on the streets. They're literally in Miami. They're in Austin. They're launching in a bunch of places like automated robots are here. He's sending rockets all over the place.
1:00:08But he is somewhat skeptical about what could happen in the future. He wrote this on Twitter, Dario is right. So he retweeted the very article that I just read to you that I think is largely nonsensical and said Dario is right. Now the difference here, this is a little bit of splitting the hairs. What Dario is calling for is basically the government to come in and fix this. What Sachs is saying is, no, fix it yourself because we will fall behind. I suspect Elon is more in the Sachs camp on this. I don't see how Elon would possibly want government regulators coming in to SpaceX and everywhere else and being like, stop moving forward on that too much.
1:00:49We don't know which way you're going. We're believing that they have any freaking clue as to where they are. Now, another one that I'm very pleased to see is on our side of this. This is Shyam Sankar. He's the CTO of Palantir. And he wrote this. AI safetyism increasingly looks like Marxism-Leninism for the algorithmic age. The old vanguard claimed privileged knowledge of the inevitable course of history. The new one claims privileged knowledge of the probabilistic course of humanity. Both use an elaborate intellectual framework to reach the same political conclusion. A small group of enlightened people must constrain everyone else for their own good.
1:01:30that has never led to anything except monumental human suffering. So there is a lot here, guys, right? Again, what he's basically saying is, if it's the same thing, if you think there is a problem, is your answer to the problem that a government should just come in and control it when other governments will not control it and it'll keep running through? Or that, as Dario said, we should have a series of democratically elected governments, I don't know, a global order of some kind, a one world global order and they'll be kind to us. Like you have to think about what are you giving away as a human being when you say to the government, come in and fix this.
1:02:11And you might also say, and this works for people on the left and people on the right. People on the right are always wary about government control because they believe in human freedom and autonomy, right? So people on the right are generally more libertarian in that nature. You believe in yourself, your own pursuit of happiness versus the government doing it for you, right? It's the Reagan nine words thing. People on the left, this is the irony of people on the left, people on the left think that the government's evil, it's awful, it's horrible, America's terrible, and also government, and Bernie Sanders, could you just get some more power right now?
1:02:41You're so terrible. The government's terrible at everything. They're terrible at Medicare, they're terrible at the, but if we just, they could control the robots. It's completely ridiculous, but the real problem we're having, I think, is that human intelligence isn't great either, and that was a heck of a segue because I wanna end with one or two other things. And of course, the big story over the last couple weeks, culturally, has been the Lindsay Clancy case. Of course, the mother who was at the very least suffering from postpartum depression and probably some issues around prescription drugs that were misprescribed or something to that nature who killed her three children.
1:03:17The trial was a mistrial because of one man deciding that he was not gonna go along with the mob there. And something very, very interesting came out on Friday on this. So Gayle King, you know, she's Oprah's lesbian lover. Like, what's the deal there? Whatever she is. She hosts a show on CBS over there. And she found out live on air that the one man who voted, who was the holdout, that he was actually black. Uh-oh. I'm curious about the jurors themselves, because we know it was nine women, three men. And what was the age range? What was the racial makeup? I haven't heard any of that. What was it?
1:03:5970-ish to 22. And one person of color and then everybody else was white. A lot of the jurors had children. One person of color was a person of color a woman or a man? A man. A man. is a holdout juror a person a black man yes a black man is a holdout juror yes well i have to sit with that for just a second why do you have to sit with that why do you have to sit with that i mean i get why you have to sit with it because in the way your intersectional brain works you can't be a black man that's a bad guy and now you're gonna what are you gonna have to be a little nicer to him maybe he was a little pissed that the woman killed her three kids and you know, he's black though, so you wanna like him more but now he's the bad guy in this story according to you.
1:04:55Like you people are all racist. The fact that after a trial ends, that jurors go out there and they start talking about the racial makeup and the gender makeup, it's all completely ridiculous. Now of course the real problem is also here is that as these jurors do this, like this guy is going to be doxxed one way or another and his life is going to be destroyed one way or another. I see almost no way around it because those women know who he is. There's too much pressure on them to release the name or somebody will figure it out or there's undoubtedly private investigators or people like Gayle over there.
1:05:26Oh my God, he was a black man and he was upset that she didn't get away with killing her three kids. Like it's just insane. Eric Daughtry over at the Florida's Voice, this just came out this morning, just in the holdout, Lindsey Clancy juror is reportedly being doxxed and 50 ,000 has already been raised for him. So apparently someone's raising money because he's been doxxed, and I don't know if that means his name has been released yet, I hope not, or addressed, or God knows what, but really terrible. And then if you wanna just see how things are a little bit better over here in Florida, well then, look at this.
1:06:01Also from Daughtry, it's official, Governor Ron DeSantis has offered the male holdout, Lindsey Clancy juror, asylum in the free state of Florida if he's doxxed or harassed. DeSantis, a man objected to allowing a woman to kill her three young kids and get away with it. So NBC is trying to smear that juror whose identity should be protected. Another low for legacy media. If the juror is being harassed, Florida will provide asylum. I'm sure he'd be welcomed and appreciated. Well, he would be welcomed. He would be appreciated. And thank God for Ron DeSantis. And I have a feeling, short of this guy being a Floridian already, that he's probably gonna have to take DeSantis up and he'll probably have to go into the witness protection program and everything else.
1:06:40like why else are these women going all over the media to basically say how bad he was? Remember that we played you that video one of the jurors a couple days ago, and she was like, for some reason, he just couldn't get over the idea that she brutally murdered the kids. Like these people, oh, and I'm being told right now, oh man, his name, yeah? Wow, so I'm being told literally right now that he has been doxxed, his name and photo are out there. I mean, this is beyond imagination, and this is gonna have, Not only is this trial gonna have repercussions for a million different reasons, but now I honestly think that the entire jury system is going to have questions around it now.
1:07:19Like how can you decide to be on a jury knowing that you can be doxed, knowing that people are gonna do media tours right after and talk about you, it's just insane. So he has been doxed. Literally I'm getting that right this second. Here is juror Paula Devlin saying that mostly they were activists. well, she doesn't quite say, she's basically saying they were all activists because they just wanted to make the world better for women. We knew that this was a turning point and this would be something that could change something to make it better for other women in the future, for other families.
1:07:56You know, justice for those children is this never happening again. And Devlin also talked to me about the impact this has had on her own mental health. She said during the week's song trial, she would walk to a park or the beach during lunch, and she just couldn't bear to look at the families around her. She says, guys, she's still having a hard time with that. Oh, my God, her mental health as she voted to acquit the woman who killed her children. I mean, what are you? Are you a juror paying attention to one case and the facts of that case? Or you are an activist who was looking at that this was going to be a turning point for other women?
1:08:33These people are completely bananas. And you were looking at other families, you were looking at other families going, this won't happen again, but you were gonna let the woman walk instead of going to jail, who killed the freaking kids. Here's a couple more, or just, I mean, now here they are giggling, a bunch of them just giggling. Ronnie, what was the thing that Kevin Reddington said that you found the funniest? And were you able to separate sort of the affidavit of Kevin Reddington to the case. He was fun to watch. Why are they happy? Why are they happy? Why? Because they're getting attention because they're a bunch of Karens who are in miserable lives with men who can't get boners thanks to their attitude.
1:09:20And now they are, they are, I don't even want to analyze this. It's just gross. So how can I end the show today? How can I end the show? First off, just calm down. The robots are not going to kill us. That's number one. Number two, to get us to the top of the show, if you're a liberal watching this and you're just not sure where to vote, just vote for a Republican. They're going to defend your liberal values a lot better. That's a hint to Bill Maher and your Aunt Karen and everybody else. But the other thing that we have to do is consistently stand up for what's right. And, you know, I don't think it was or I think it was sort of divine intervention in a weird way that Charlie was killed on 9-10.
1:09:56And of course, then we had the 9-11 anniversary. And starting on Friday night was the beginning of Rosh Hashanah, which is the Jewish New Year. 5 ,787 years these crazy Hebrews have been going. And it's a time of reflection and how can you make the world a little bit better? And maybe we gotta make the world a little bit better by standing up for what's right. Because there's a whole people who are doing the reverse. Here is the Charlie Kirk statue outside of Turning Point headquarters, which was vandalized I think the very day it was put up. 31, like Paul said, just into the newsroom, it appears the news of conservative activist Charlie Kirk outside Turning Point USA's Phoenix office has been vandalized.
1:10:37Our digital content producer Brian actually drove past the headquarters this morning and spotted what looks like red spray paint here on the statue as well as a memorial there. This comes just days after the statue was unveiled on Thursday. So you know what you could do instead of being part of that, that force that vandalizes statues, that force that's upset because they find out, oh, the man who acquitted the child murder is the same skin color as me, or who gets the ego boost by being on this trial and is giddy about it, or being happy that 9-11 happened, or all of the terrible ideas that are out there.
1:11:15You could look at, boy, my life was a certain way. I was around a certain set of people, but circumstances have changed. I've evolved. I'm going to be better than this. And you will find unchartered territory that could lead us to the promised land. Bobby Kennedy. The day that President Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania, within three hours of his shooting, he called me and asked me for a meeting. And during the series of talks that followed, I realized that everything that I heard about President Trump and everything I believed about him from the mainstream media was a lie. Everything. Yeah.
1:11:58And then once he realized that, well, look, now he's doing all sorts of great things at HHS. He's done the wide tent thing that I'm endlessly rambling on about. and we have a chance still. We have a little less than two months to just wake up more people, because otherwise we will end up with the socialists and the Marxists and they will pack the courts, they will destroy everything that is good, they'll be murdering the babies, and they'll be trying to control the robots that are curing cancer. But besides that, I think everything will be fine. Thank you for watching. Post Game Show in 30 seconds.
1:12:31RubenReport.Local.com. Goodbye.
1:12:37Thank you.
