In short

Dave Rubin frames the upcoming midterms (early November) as a last chance to stop Democrats from advancing “woke” policies he claims amount to socialism/communism/Marxism and to prevent Trump from facing impeachment-driven chaos if Republicans lose House and Senate. He also argues Democrats will “pack the courts,” make DC a state, reopen borders, and abolish ICE; he urges voters to be “a little crazy” and not apathetic.

Guest backgrounds

No named guests appear in the transcript. Bill O’Reilly is discussed as a prior guest on Sean Hannity and as the source of the “dark prediction.”

Key claims

If Democrats win both chambers, Trump’s agenda will be blocked and the “process” to end MAGA begins; Republicans will fracture and left-wing “crazies” will be emboldened. Democrats allegedly prioritize importing new constituents over public safety (ICE/NY). Capitalism is portrayed as non-racial and not inherently tied to white supremacy (CNN clip featuring Kamel Foster vs Jamel Hill). Islam is framed as incompatible with Western liberalism.

Notable examples

2020 Zoom clip of Texas Senate candidate James Tallarico; CNN debate with Kamel Foster and Jamel Hill; ICE “Operation Rotten Apple” in New York (2,100 arrests, detainers not honored); Tucson gay bar shooting (Osamon Sisei); Kathy Hochul vs Tom Homan; Seal “Crazy” lyric reference.

0:00Previously on the Rubin.

0:05I played basketball with that motherless goat. He is a podcaster. Some of the media, mostly the white media, are interested in a fight. Who would I tune into to get what the white media is up to?

0:41How are we doing, people? I'm Dave Rubin. This is The Rubin Report. It is September 3rd, 2026. We are back into the swing of things. And for those of you that watched the program yesterday, I said I need a little time to get my sea legs back. Gotta get in fighting shape, all of that stuff. Yesterday, what did we decide at the end? The show was like, I flubbed right at the end. So the show is a nine. I'm not gonna be happy ever, unless it's a nine, five, and above, I don't believe in the 10. The perfect show is just simply impossible. I'm always going for the nine, nine. When I get the 10, that's it.

1:17Like we'll just wrap up the operation that day. But I feel good about today's show. I'm wearing a new jacket. I feel like I should be working on a cruise ship right now. The buffet is over there. there, enjoy. And yes, it's a lot about the Democrat crazy stuff. We're just, we're just stuck in it. Of course, virtually everything we do for the next two months, two months and a week, basically, or no, actually two months to, I think tomorrow, when is the midterm? Midterm's on November 5th, 6th, we'll get, we'll get, might be even today, whatever it is, roughly two months. It's all going to be about the midterms because this, this really is it right now.

1:53Like as we watch the woke thing, which as you know, has morphed into its real final form now, which is just full on socialism, communism, Marxism, Jihadism, Islamism, whatever it is. Like now it's gaining political power. And do we have enough juice? Does America and the whatever sane people remain here, do we have enough juice to push it back for the midterms, let Trump do what he does, what he has to do for the next two years, and then hopefully build beyond that? Like that's really where we are at. So that'll be sort of the meta stuff that we're doing for the next two months, just littered with a lot of craziness.

2:29How about that? So let's dive in. And we'll start with my friend Bill O 'Reilly, who made a point that I've been making for quite some time about how important these midterms are, not only for the country, but for a certain orange man. But if the Democrats win the Senate and the House, it's over for President Trump. It's over. because they'll impeach him, they'll sue him, every two minutes will be something else, and nothing will ever get passed. Nothing. So it'll be two years of, let's get Trump. That's what'll happen. He's not going to get impeached and convicted anyway, Trump. So it's not the votes there.

3:17So this thing is very personal for Donald Trump because he's got to know that the Republicans have got to take at least one house. He has to or his whole legacy blows up. Goes down like LBJ, Lyndon Johnson. OK, so it's not just the legacy is secondary. I mean, I would say it's that the country in many ways will implode. We will assure, just imagine the steroids that all the crazies will be on and the amount of Republicans who will jump ship from Trump. Like we will have the craziest two years you can possibly imagine, but don't take my word for it. Take Dave Rubin's word for it. He was on the Sean Hannity podcast a day or two before he left off the grid.

4:04People really better understand that it's not that Trump has two and a half years left. He may only have three months left. That, in essence, is where we could be. Good point. If the Republicans lose the House and lose the Senate, well, first of all, if they lose the House, he's going to get hung up in impeachment. He will likely not be impeached, but meaning we will end up with a two years. Oh, he'll be impeached. No, no, well, he'll be impeached. If they get the House. Right, no, no, he'll be impeached, but he probably won't be removed from office. They're not going to get enough votes in the Senate one way or another or something.

4:33But the point is that the process to end these last 10 years of MAGA and everything that has happened since 2015 will begin. And then it's not just that they will be emboldened. The crazies on the left will be emboldened. Then the fighting on the right, to whatever extent we've already talked about it, that's going to go completely bananas because it's going to be like rats jumping from a ship. And then you're going to have all these people leaving Trump and trying to pick up the pieces. It's going to be complete chaos. So people really better understand that. It's not just that at this midterm, which everyone always says is the most important election of all time.

5:03Like, I don't see how it could possibly be more important than it is right now. Do you remember yesterday we showed you a clip of Ron DeSantis talking about how great things are in Florida, and he said that the thing we have to fear basically is apathy, that things are working. So, you know, people, when things are working, you forget that they can go poorly, and maybe you don't vote on Election Day, or you don't talk to your friends about what's going on, or you don't really pay attention, and you don't really worry that everything could flip overnight. I think in some sense what my job is now over the next two months is to show people what I believe to be true, which is that not only can we not be apathetic, we have to be like sort of crazy for the next two months, like a little crazy.

5:48You know, just isn't there, who did that song? Was that Seal, A Little Crazy, something? Did Seal do a song about a little crazy? Somebody work on that for me. Get me some lyrics out of that thing. We just gotta be a little crazy right now because we need people to understand that everything that that guy, Dave Rubin, just said in that Hannity show was right. The Democrats will be emboldened. The Republicans will completely fracture. Like we will really watch the end of the Republican party and then imagine what the Democrats will do when in power. But you don't have to imagine it. You just have to listen to them.

6:20And what will they do? Pack the courts. What will they do? Make DC a state. What will they do? Open the borders again. What will they do? Get rid of ICE. It's like, I can do this all day long of the horrible anti-American and anti-constitutional and everything else, things that they will do. So get a little crazy right now. Like get into some conversations and wake some people up. Now, Donald Trump, I think is taking this seriously. It's partly because of what O 'Reilly said, his legacy, but I think Trump actually cares more about, believe it or not, I actually think that Trump does care more about the country than his own legacy.

6:57But here he is saying he's going all in right now. And there's about 35 key races that will hopefully keep the Republicans in power. I'm going to take the final 30 days, maybe a little bit more than that, because it's all about 35 races. You know, some of you guys are leading by so much. Please don't make me go to your area. If you're leading by 40 points and you've been there for 25 years, like the speaker, He leads by 42 points and he has it made. Please don't ask me to come to your area and make a speech, right? But I'm gonna go to every one of those 35 places and we're gonna see if we can get everyone elected.

7:37All right, and we know this is where Trump's at his best. Where is he at his best? He's at his best when he's on the road. He's at his best when he's doing rallies. He's at his best when he's ginning up the base. The Democrats are going to keep ramping up the crazy. They only have one direction, right? So it's always gonna be ramping up crazy, but Trump getting out there again and getting with the people again, that might be a positive antidote. I also like that he acknowledges, yeah, there's some races that Republicans have huge leads. Don't waste your time with that, but get out there and vote.

8:04He, the president of the United States, doesn't have to waste his time going to districts that are a slam dunk, but you still gotta vote, right? To make sure those slam dunks are slam dunks. But he's gonna be out there doing it. We all have to wake up. And really the question is, okay, well, if we don't, what are we ushering in? By the way, yes, I was right. There is a song by Seal called Crazy and they gave me a couple lines here and I think this is quite applicable, but we're never gonna survive unless we get a little crazy. No, we're never gonna survive unless we're a little crazy. Crazy yellow people, what does that mean?

8:39Walking through my head. One of them's got a gun to shoot the other one and yet they were friends at school. Oh, get it, get it, get it, get it, no, no. If all were there when we first took the pill, then maybe, maybe, maybe, then maybe miracles will happen as we speak. Well, I think the first line or two were applicable, the yellow people thing, I'm not exactly sure about that. And Joe, I have several Asian employees and I apologize in advance and don't bring that to HR. Okay, so what are we fighting against? Well, of course, it is a bunch of people who want to destroy the capitalist system that we live in.

9:12The capitalist system, which allows people to own property, which allows you to exchange goods freely, which creates the most liquidity in the system without government interference. Who said it's the best of all bad systems? Like that, it gives you the opportunity to have some skin in the game and build something for yourself. You know, pursue happiness. The bunch of guys wrote something about that a couple hundred years ago. But the Democrats do wanna destroy it. So James Tallarico, who, as you know, they had Jasmine Crockett. She was insane. He was more insane. So they went with her in the Democrat primary and now, or they went with him in the Democrat primary.

9:49Well, him, her, it doesn't even matter. There's God's non-binary, all that stuff. They went with Tallarico, and he could potentially be the next senator in the great state of Texas. Well, this video just came out. It's a 2020 meeting that Tallarico was in on Zoom. And just look at all these. These people are just all, like you could just barf all over them. And of course, yes, capitalism's oppressive, horrible, and we've got to get rid of it. Communities of color receive the most harm from the impacts of climate change and yet received the least government support to deal with it. Tell us about one of the committees you are on or hope to be on and the most important actions that committee could take to fight for climate justice and mitigate the impacts of climate change for all Texans.

10:38Yeah, and I am so thankful that you asked this question and also thankful that young activists have really drawn the link between climate change and white supremacy and capitalism in our country. And I think only understanding the ways that all three of those oppressive systems work together are we gonna be able to begin the process of dismantling them. There was only one person who was remotely sane in that entire Zoom meeting, and it was the lady who was drinking red wine. And did you see her? Like that lady knew what was up. She was like, I don't know what I'm doing here, but I'm gonna be drunk for it.

11:11What the link between climate change and white supremacy? I mean, this is, but it's all standard stuff. Like it might sound crazy to us. It does sound crazy to us. But the point is, it is what is now wholly infected virtually everybody on the left with those few outliers that I'm always talking about. And if you want a perfect example of that, this was quite interesting on CNN. This happened, I think two days ago. This is a guy by the name of Kamel Foster. And here he is defending capitalism on CNN, talking about why it's not oppressive. We've got a couple of clips here. Take a look. He's not alone.

11:49I mean, a lot of Democrats don't think capitalism is working. It's one thing to not think capitalism isn't working ideally. It's another thing entirely to insist that it is oppressive, that it is bound up with white supremacy. I've always preferred Adam Smith's description of capitalism as the natural system of liberty, The idea that people can own property, that they can exchange it freely with one another for profit, that they can find ways to put their resources to good use, those private property and profit in a way that is actually beneficial to everyone else, that there can be gains from trade that are mutually beneficial.

12:29These are foundational ideas that have created more wealth than any other system in human history. That is what capitalism is. That is not white supremacy. Wow. Well done. Somebody besides Scott Jennings or Shermichael Singleton over on CNN making sense. A very simple explanation of what capitalism is. And note, it has nothing to do with race. He didn't say, and this is for white people or this is for black people or yellow people, as it were, or anything else, right? The point is that when you create a system that allows people to voluntarily make decisions, voluntarily enter the economy, decide who they wanna trade with, work with, live next to and everything else, that creates the conditions of freedom.

13:10and the conditions of freedom are good for everybody, regardless of their skin color. Now, the woman who is next to him, we've shown a lot of videos of her over the years, is former ESPN anchor who went completely crazy woke, who's everything's white supremacy, everything's racism, misogyny, all the usual stuff. She keeps saying, how is it not? How is capitalism not part of white supremacy? Well, here she tries to push that idea on him and he pushes back. That is what capitalism is. That is not white supremacy. Do you think capitalism has always worked that way? I've just described the actual...

13:47It has not always worked that way. I've actually just described the basic facts of the denomination. That's the basic facts, but that ain't how it always works. Slavery is an institution that is older than writing. It predates capitalism. The notion that white supremacy and all these other things are bound up with capitalism in an intrinsic and fundamental way is so absurd and laughable... How is it absurd? ...that it barely needs to be defended. What do you mean it barely needs to be defended? It barely needs to be defended. You actually have to articulate what the connection is. How are these two things the same?

14:13I'm talking about private property, the right to exchange and sell it with whoever you like. What does that have to do with white supremacy? How it was intended to work versus how it's actually working. I'm talking about how it's working right now today. What is the white supremacist dynamic of private property? It's not working. I think that's the problem. Now, we stopped the clip there. It goes on. She never offers up any explanation of what capitalism has to do with white supremacy. She may not like capitalism, and she doesn't really like America, and she doesn't like the founding or anything else, but that doesn't mean that the system of economics that our country is based on has anything to do with race.

14:50I run a show, I have a few businesses. I pay these people to do their job. Is that somehow connected to white supremacism? I don't think so, right? I'm not forcing anyone to do anything, and then I pay them for their services. And they wanna wrap that up in something that has to do with race. It's profoundly absurd, but it's ironic that this lady, Jamel Hill, that she doesn't like capitalism because I saw her once at the airport about two years ago at the Miami airport. I saw her walking with Michael Jordan, not NBA player Michael Jordan, Michael B. Jordan, the actor Creed from the movies. And she was wearing the craziest shoes that I had ever seen.

15:29And we tried to, I described to my guys what they were. They were the craziest furry shoes. Like I was looking at her like, lady, those things have to cost a couple grand. And I don't know that these were the exact ones. They actually were brown, but this is Saint Laurent, I've been told. And it looks like they're about 1700 bucks. So she was wearing something like that. She doesn't really hate capitalism. And if I'm not mistaken, in her lawsuit with ESPN, she walked with about 10 million bucks. So not really, otherwise she would have, you know, not taken that money or maybe donated it to the socialists or something like that.

16:03Anyway, great job by Foster over there. She walked with 6 million from ESPN because she's racist and told them they were racist. Like, I should get a gig over there. Scott Jennings, since we're talking about CNN, here he is pointing out how everyone's focused on Republicans melting down in divisions with Republicans and everything else, but it's the Democrats who, yes, particularly in Texas, have a huge problem on their hand. And yes, we'll throw to the bumper. It's been a while.

16:35Texas. You know, everyone wants to talk about the divisions of the Republicans in Texas. Nobody around here seems to want to talk about the fact that Jasmine Crockett does nothing for James Tallarico, has been attacking the Democratic Party after that very divisive primary. I even saw the other day she was talking like maybe she's not even a Democrat anymore. I think Tallarico has problems on his left flank. I think he has problems with African-American voters down there. It's the same for El Syed in Michigan. major problems with African-American Democrat voters up there as well. So we spent a lot of time around here talking about Republican issues.

17:06The Democrats internally have issues in Texas and Michigan. And if they lose those two states, the path to a Senate majority would be difficult. Well, I will say that Jasmine Crockett will vote for Tallarico and down ballot. I asked my Republicans, will John Cornyn vote? Because I'm friends with her. I know. Why is she crapping on Tallarico all the time? She's not going to vote for Ken Paxson. Give me a break. She craps on him all the time. Hold on, will John Cornyn vote for Paxson? He says he's voted Republican his entire life. He will not. All right, the point of all of that is that, yes, the Republicans have problems.

17:37And what do I always say? It's like the Democrats are completely insane. The Republicans are not great. They're really not. Like Florida, we have some great Republicans, and there are a couple across this country, obviously, in certain very specific districts, usually in red states. There's good local representatives and things of that nature. There are some people that are out there. We have a great administration, all that. But generally the Republicans are not great. But the Democrats are completely insane at this point. You have totally insane anti-American radicals fighting a bunch of ineffectual people that don't know how to defend themselves.

18:07On the Republican side, you could say, okay, these people, some of these people aren't great Republicans or aren't America first or whatever you wanna say about them. But basically on the Republican side, these are people who like America and they maybe just aren't particularly good politicians. something like that. I'd rather go with that and see what happens. But speaking of the Texas Senate race, let's talk about Kalshi for a minute because James Tallarico might be the Texas Senate winner. And here's what the Kalshi markets are showing. Guys, Kalshi's like buying or selling a stock, except the line isn't set by an algorithm working against you.

18:43It moves based on where the money goes. It shows where people are putting their money, not what the media wants you to believe. If you put$100 on, yes, Ken Paxton, you can earn$182 if correct. Download the Kalshi app and use code RubenReport to get$25 when you trade 25 bucks, K-A-L-S-H-I. Kalshi, put your money where your prediction is. Of course, Texas, one way or another, you gotta feel like Texas with all the guns and the Alamo and everything else. Like Texas feels like it'll be kind of okay one. I cannot imagine, well, I guess I can imagine anything. It seems a little hard to imagine that Tallarico with the non-binary stuff and the hatred of capitalism, wanting to take the guns and opening the border.

19:24That seems like a bit much for a John Wayne, Texas state to go for. We shall see. Places that really are collapsing, of course, are Cali and New York. And let's focus a little bit more on New York right now. Look at this headline from the New York Post. Ice nabs over 2000 illegal migrants across New York in Operation Rotten Apple, including child rapists and killers. Connor, leave that up for a minute. Look at these guys. Like, were they all taken out of casting 101? Could you look like a child rapist and killer? Like, look at these people. What are they doing in our country? They are all here illegally.

19:58They all look like child rapists and murderers and psychopaths. But you're gonna love this. It turns out that, yeah, we arrested 2 ,000 of them, but thousands of them had been arrested already and then released. Here is Secretary of DHS Mark Wayne Mullen. Well, these targeted individuals, it was over 2 ,100 individuals. These targeted individuals were arrested and put into the state penitentiary, and they were released. 13 ,000 individuals since January 20th were released after ICE tried to put detainers on them, and they were going to put them back on the streets. These are child rapists. These are child predators.

20:41These are sexual assault individuals. These are individuals that murdered people that are drug traffickers, gang bangers. And ICE just, and they're supposed to, they're not supposed to be in the country to begin with. They were illegal. They had no status. And ICE said, hey, we're going to pick them up before you release them out of prison. And because you have a liberal governor in New York, they released them back on the streets. Do you realize how insane that is? These people had been arrested. And because the state won't work with ICE, they released them. These were child predators and like the worst of the worst.

21:17And like Kathy Hochul should have to step down right then and there. Kathy Hochul, we just had to re-arrest 2 ,000 people of which you guys knew what terrible things they had done. Now we get it, you don't like ICE, but don't you care about the people of New York? And the fundamental answer to that is no. The Democrats do not care about their own constituents because they're trying to import new constituents. That is exactly what is going on here. We're gonna show you, this is a video of an interview that Tom Homan did on Fox, but first it's Kathy Hochul referencing this whole thing and then Homan blowing it up.

21:56That these individuals are about to be released and they should be deported. That's always been our policy for decades. You know what? Sometimes they don't even show up. ICE doesn't even do their job, they don't care. So I'm not buying what they're selling here. What we are seeing, however, from ICE is an attempt to criminalize the very fact of being an immigrant. And we are seeing a terrorizing of immigrants across our city and, frankly, across our nation.

22:23Tom Homan:Look, you know, but first of all, Hockel's lying, stone-cold lie. This past year, over 13 ,000 detainers weren't honored. So she says she cares about, you know, working with ICE on criminal alien public safety threats. 13 ,000 detainers that weren't honored. And also, she just signed legislation that says local law enforcement can't work with us. She ended the 287G programs. And she no longer allows us to rent beds from local sheriffs. So these 2 ,200 aliens we arrested, many of them we moved out of state immediately because we don't have a bed here in the state. And finally, I'll tell her this.

23:01Tom Homan:Listen to your own sheriffs. You got 15 sheriffs in the state suing you over this legislation that you just signed. I mean, it's not that complex, guys. Who do you believe, Kathy Hochul or Tom Homan, right? These are people who New York knew were horrible people that they let out because they did not want to work with ICE. Then when they get out, ICE has to then quite literally, he says, move them to another state because there are some states that will function and work with ICE. Florida's at the top of the list, of course. But she does not care about the average New Yorker. I also wanna quote Mamdami there.

23:35ICE wants to criminalize the fact of being an immigrant. They are illegals. They are criminals in that they came here illegally in the first place on top of the fact that then they commit crimes here. That every interview he does, he doesn't get called out on that. Is a, well, it's just obvious to what the mainstream media is. But they want to endlessly conflate so you will not even know what you're talking about. Oh my God, look what they're doing to immigrants. My grandmother was an immigrant. No, these are illegals. You know it. Here's one more from Tom Homan on Zorhan. Tom Homan, of course, will play Tom Homan in the movie about Tom Homan called The Tom Homan Story.

24:20Tom Homan:As far as McDermott, look, I'm an equal opportunity deporter. I don't care where you're from. I don't care what country you're from. If you got an order of removal issued by the immigration judge, you're going to go home. And yes, that's actually true. He is an equal opportunity deporter because over August, I think we covered this with Dr. Drew, Milo Yiannopoulos, who's a British provocateur who was here on some sort of visa and did not show up to one of the meetings that he was supposed to show up to for a visa renewal or whatever it is, he was deported. Now, interestingly, he's white and British and he was deported, but strangely, so obviously if he's white and British, they're not just going after black and brown people, which is what everyone on the left is telling us, but you would think that the, where are the Democrats defending Milo?

25:10Where are the Democrats going? Why aren't you, why they sent him back? I mean, he's gay, they sent a gay guy back to a Muslim country, right? Britain, I mean, that's tough. That's gotta be tough. Can he claim asylum for that? But they don't really care when people get deported. They don't like his politics. Now, of course, he should be deported. He missed his thing. Like, you gotta go. It doesn't matter because Holman actually is upholding the law, not upholding a political ideology. We have a lot of work to do to wake these people up. Let's talk about Chapter and then we'll get to more on the other side.

25:39Guys, Medicare can be confusing and a lot of people sign up for a plan and then never look at it again. But your health changes, your prescriptions change, your doctors change and your coverage should still fit your needs. That's where Chapter comes in. Chapter has independent, trusted Medicare advisors who compare every plan nationwide and advocate for you, not the insurance companies. They'll look at your doctors, your prescriptions, and what matters most to you, and then help you determine whether your current plan still makes sense. If you're already on the right plan, they'll tell you, and if not, they'll help you understand your options to make a change.

26:09The call is completely free, there's no pressure to sign up, and they can review your options in under 20 minutes. Historically, seniors who work with Chapter have saved an average of$1 ,100 a year. Don't leave something as important as your Medicare coverage on autopilot. Call chapter today at 332-867-0207. Again, that's 332-867-0207 to speak with a trusted advisor today. Let us continue with the Botoxed buffoon in New York, Mayor Kathy Hochul. Donald Trump went after her a couple of days ago. This on truth. Kathy Hochul considered the worst governor in the country in a recent picture working very hard to get the Arab vote, even though they can't stand her.

26:49Congestion pricing in Manhattan is hurting her with everybody, but especially the people for whom she wears the hijab. The whole thing is crazy, President Donald J. Trump. And there she is at a mosque. And it's so funny because of course she was a big leader in Me Too and My Body, My Choice. I don't think they would have let her in without wearing that headscarf over her head. She saw that post by Trump. You know, also women have to sit in the back in mosques and a series of other things. She saw that post by Trump and she wrote this. I was a guest in a Muslim house of worship and showed respect for the people who welcomed me.

27:23That used to be the standard in the country before you came along. I'll never apologize for treating people of any faith with dignity, no matter how Islamophobic you and your enablers are. All right, lady, well, here's what I wrote to that because the hypocrisy is just completely off the charts. Do they perform gay weddings at that mosque? Aren't you an ally to the LGBTQ LMNOP community? Why support such a place of bigotry, you Botox buffoon? I wanted to say the other B word, but I'm trying to be nice after I've just got off the grid. That's the point, guys. Let's put aside everything else with the invasion that we have going on and all of that stuff.

28:04This is a woman who is a proud supporter of the LGBT community and she goes out there in the parades and she's fought for gay marriage, which actually was equality, so that was just fine. but all the other stuff, right? And then she'll show up in her intersectional state of lunacy at a mosque where they will not perform gay marriages. So which is it? Pick one, lady. Pick one, Zorhan. Now, Zorhan, we know you're just using all the useful idiots. Hochul happens to be a useful idiot. But if you are a gay person and you support her, you are also a useful idiot. Would she show up at a church that was not for interracial marriage?

28:50Of course not. But what she's saying is gays, we don't really care about you. The Muslims are our new base. They will vote for us no matter what. So we're going for them. But logically, it makes no sense. Help me work through, like just help me work through logic. If you actually care about gay people, there are, as I always talk about, there's about 50 Muslim countries. Gays are not treated equally in any of them and are killed in many of them. And not one mosque in the United States performs gay marriages. I'm not for forcing those mosques to do it. But there are many churches that perform gay marriages.

29:24There are many synagogues that perform gay marriages. And it's up to them to do that or not. And that's just fine. But she will go to a mosque, put on their headscarf, act as a dhimmi, and then throw one of her key constituencies under the bus. But guess what, guys? this is all getting this to the end game of all of this, where we will realize that the intersectional monstrosity that they've tried to create really is just a straw man. I saw this story a couple of days ago or when I got back on the grid and I had to say to Joseph when he sent it to me, it was like, is this real? Because where is this?

29:59I'm not seeing this in anything on mainstream, but check this out. This is from I'm Meme, an ex-commentator. Three days ago, a gunman opened fire outside Venture N, a Tucson gay bar. Two men are dead. The shooter, dead. Police now call it a targeted hate crime. He had a list of LGBTQ businesses on him. You probably didn't even hear about it because the shooter wasn't the approved villain. He wasn't a white Christian nationalist. He was Osamon Sisei, 44, a Muslim immigrant born in Gambia. He confronted two men in the parking lot and started shooting. One of the victims was Cameron Davis Capra, a well-known local photographer and left-wing political activist who spent years documenting pro-Palestine marches, anti-ice actions, anti-Trump, anti-fascism rallies, and anti-capitalist No King circles.

30:48The other was Vincent Anthony Sequeiros. Both were killed where they stood. Police didn't rush out a mugshot package. Some coverage danced around the shooter's background. National cameras never really showed up. No wall-to-wall specials. No Democratic officials lining up the podiums to denounce homophobia and demand action. The story dropped fast, and that's the tell. When the facts don't fit the script, the outrage machine stays quiet. Two men get murdered outside a gay bar. The killer leaves a target list, and the same people who never miss a chance to lecture the country about hate suddenly have nothing to say.

31:22If that doesn't show you how selective the media and the virtue signal crowd really are, nothing will. So you get it, gays? They will throw you under the bus to protect, in this case, literally the Muslim jihadists. They don't want people to think that Islam does not like the gays. So they'll let a couple gay guys be killed outside of a gay bar in Tucson. And then I didn't see this anywhere on mainstream. Did you, person watching this on the other side of the screen right now, did you see this on CNN last night? Did you see it on MSNBC last night? Why did it just get buried? You know exactly why.

32:00And the crazy part is that one of the guys, The photographer, he was an anti-Trump guy. He was a pro-Palestine guy, but they don't care. In some sense, it's the same thing. If you think about October 7th, it's the same thing. When the Hamas guys came in, they didn't, oh, those are some Jews who are, you know, they're friendly to us, they work with us. Those are Jews who, they're okay, they live near Gaza because they want coexistence. No, they slaughter everybody. That's how it works. And they're out there across the country telling us this all the time. Here's an Islamic scholar in Chicago. His name is Muhammad Nusaret, and I don't think he likes this place very much.

32:37Unfortunately, these days, we don't repeat this enough, or we don't have this aqidah concept firm in our minds that Islam did not come to coexist. Islam is raised high, and nothing is raised above Islam. We can't think of Islam that came to live with these other religions in the sense that Islam is a religion amongst those religions and they have a share with the truth. And they have a share of justice. And they have a share of, you know, this worship of Allah, the correct worship of Allah. Islam came to correct all of that. Islam came to remove the oppression of all those religions. And it is the only truth.

33:24And it is the only way to justice. I want to present a question maybe. You can already figure out what I think of this guy. But question, in a sane society, or if this was a movie, and there was a guy in a movie who was telling you, I live in a place that I don't like very much, and I subscribe to a set of ideas that is gonna subjugate everybody else here, and my set of ideas will reign supreme, and my set of ideas is completely at odds with the foundational views of the place that I live in. What would happen in a movie? What would the good guy in the movie do? The good guy in the movie would kick that guy out of the country.

34:00Marco Rubio, if you're watching the Rubin Report today, find that guy. You should not be able to be in the country. We are going to have to denaturalize and deport people. I'll go on the assumption that that guy's an American. But you're gonna have to start denaturalizing people. How can you survive? It's as simple as that. How can a country over time survive? As a certain set of people say, we're here to destroy all your political institutions. We're here to usher in a religion that will supersede the laws of the land. We're gonna reproduce at way higher rates. We are gonna vote monolithic, monolithically, and we're here to take over.

34:39And they're being very open and honest about it. I guess if anything, you have to kind of credit them for it. Like they're doing it. And the point of all of this is that intersectionality, they've done it so effectively that you still, you still have Queers for Palestine. you still have all of these groups that think that somehow if we align with these people, they're gonna do something for us. And what they are doing is they are building their caliphate on your backs, you fools. So I wanna jump back all the way to 2014 because I was a lefty, you guys know, I was a Bernie supporter, all of the stuff.

35:15Hey, nobody's perfect, we've all lived many lives. And I was waking up to a lot of this because when I was at the Young Turks, that buffoon Cenk Uygur, the uncle of Hasan Piker, and Hasan was there too, there was this endless fetishization about Islam. And it seemed very odd to me because they were all progressives and you were supposed to be for women and you were supposed to be for gays. But they loved this religion that wanted to subjugate all those people and often beheaded people if they drew cartoons and things of that nature. And you may remember this. I remember watching this live on a Friday night in 2014 in our little shack of a place in West Hollywood.

35:54This was real time with Ben Affleck and Sam Harris and Bill Maher, and they got into it over Islamophobia. Are you the person who understands the officially codified doctrine of Islam? You're the interpreter of that, so you can say, well, this is... I'm actually well-educated on this topic. I'm asking you. So you're saying if I criticize, you're saying that Islamophobia is not a real thing, that if you're critical of something... Well, it's not a real thing when we do it. Right. Well, it really isn't. I'm not denying that certain people are bigoted against Muslims as people. Right. And that's a problem.

36:25That's big of you. But the... But why are you so hostile about this comment? It's gross. It's racist. It's not. But it's so not. It's like saying, So not your shifty Jew. You're not listening to what we are saying. You guys are saying, if you want to be liberals, believe in liberal principles. Right. Like freedom of speech. Like, you know, we are endowed by our forefathers with an inalienable life. All men are created equal. Ben, we have to be able to criticize bad ideas. Of course we do. No liberal doesn't want you to face as bad ideas. But Islam at this moment is the mother load of bad ideas.

36:53Jesus Christ. So we have it. We have. Okay. So I watched that live and it crystallized in my mind so much of what I had seen on the left. Ben Affleck was acting like all of the progressives act now. They're constantly outraged, right? They're calling everyone Islamophobic and bigot and racist and you get all of that stuff. And Bill particularly points out there, it's not racist when we do it in that. Do you think Bill Maher is racist? Do you think Sam Harris, I have differences certainly with Sam, do you think he's racist? You have to be, Islam is a set of ideas. And the places that Islam exists where it has power, again, there are 50 plus Muslim nations in any of those nations.

37:33Are there Christians that have massive rallies trying to convert Muslims? Zero, no, there are none. And yet we saw them in Australia and they're happening in the United States and Canada and the UK and France and everywhere else. So in the nations that Islam reigns supreme, everyone else is subjugated. In the nations where freedom, in the Western nations where freedom reigns supreme, Islam is allowed to spread and infect otherwise freedom-loving places. And the fact that he gets so upset about it, and the idea of Islamophobia, a phobia is an irrational fear. Is it irrational if you were gay or you were a woman?

38:16or you were a non-believer, or you were a Christian, or a Jew, or an atheist, is it irrational to fear a set of ideas that would have you killed? No, it would be the most rational thing. So actually, some of you probably remember this. I dedicated Don't Burn This Book. The actual dedication on the first page was to Ben Affleck for that very moment. His overly emotive, ridiculous behavior in that interview, that was the thing that woke me up. I wrote a bit about it. Let me just read one little paragraph for you. Looking back, I should probably thank Affleck for this. He inadvertently became the blunt instrument that hit sane people over the head.

38:53Yes, it was an alarm bell for me and unfair to Mauren Harris, but this eight minute clip was also a political awakening for millions of others. Once seen, it couldn't be unseen. And the way you can really, if you're a little confused about what's going on here, imagine if they had been talking about Christianity. Would Ben Affleck have ever gotten so up in arms about it? Of course he wouldn't. Of course he wouldn't. And that is the fundamental difference. You can live in a Christian nation, make fun of Christianity all day long. Recommend you turn on any episode of Family Guy and see what they do with Jesus or what they're doing in churches or anything else.

39:29You can make fun of it all day long. You can make fun of Judaism all day long. Have you ever seen Curb Your Enthusiasm or Seinfeld? You can do all those things and you should be allowed to do all those things. But one set of ideas, if you make fun of, you're basically going to be destroyed and or killed. Preferably, you get it. Anyway, one of the leading promulgators of this horrific ideology is my former boss, Cenk. And I'm not, you know, I kept saying to Phoenix now that I'm back, like, I don't wanna get involved in the he said, she said stuff and all the infighting and all of this stuff. But this is just great because he is a fat Islamist pig and his chair broke while live on Piers Morgan's show.

40:05I don't like people saying, I hate America and I deserve 9-11. We deserve 9-11. Yeah, your nephew said that on his street. We love America. He absolutely... We love America so much, we want to represent America instead of Israel. He put a picture of the Twin Towers being blown up behind him because he loves America. That's what he did. Well, okay, okay, let me stop you there. Let's be honest. Let me play... Give me a break. Let me play a little mashup of your nephew, Chay, Hassan Piker, and the controversial things he said about us. Here we go back to... Well, I'm just sorry. Well, I'm just sorry.

40:34Are we ever going to talk about Mike Rogers? Hang on. What the f*** is this? Oh, no, you know what?

40:40You gotta, man, the Mossad is good. They sent someone right in there to fiddle with his chair, those pesky Israelis when they fit, and they were like, what is he wearing? We're gonna have to jigger the chair and it'll break in the middle of the show. And yeah, we love America. We just showed you the video yesterday of Hassan, his nephew, again, who got the job at Young Turks only because he was his nephew and was horrible to women and a terrible basketball ball hog and everything else. We showed you the compilation of him talking about about how much he hates America. Everything that these guys do is a hatred of America.

41:10Everything that Bernie says is a hatred of America, that Abdul Al-Sayed says that Zahmdani and Zordani and Ding Dongy and Douchebaggy and all the rest of them. Everything that they say is a hatred of the country. We got two months to stop them. But at least if we don't stop them, you might have an animal. You might have a pet, a dog perhaps. And I want that dog to eat well, which is why I like Sundays for dogs. And guys, when I rescued Clyde from a shelter, how the hell was that on us? I mean, that was pretty professional. When I rescued Clyde from a shelter during COVID, just before he was scheduled to be put down, true story, I promised I'd give him the best life possible and that includes what goes into his bowl.

41:45Like a lot of people, I used to feed him regular kibble without thinking much about it. Then I looked at the ingredients and realized that I couldn't pronounce half of them. That's why I switched to Sundays for dogs. It's made with over 80 % all natural meat plus real super foods like kale, ginger, and blueberries. No fillers, chemicals, no mystery ingredients. And unlike fresh dog food, there's no refrigeration or prep, just scoop and serve. Clyde absolutely loves it. I just toss it out in the yard and I wouldn't even put it in a bowl. I just toss, for real. And I've noticed a healthier coat, better digestion.

42:12And he's always excited for mealtime. They even have a new raw, a new fish recipe made with 80 % whole and minced fish that's packed with omega-3s to support healthy skin, joints, and brain function. Make the switch to Sundays. Go right now to sundaysfordogs.com slash Reuben and get 50 % off your first order or use code Reuben at checkout. That's 50 % off your first order at sundaysfordogs.com slash Reuben or use code Reuben at checkout. And yeah, if you don't do that, you know, when you feed a dog, you just put the dog food in the bowl and they just, 30 seconds later, they've just eaten their food for the day, right?

42:42They have one in the morning usually and one at night. Someone showed me this years ago. Scoop it and just throw it out in the backyard into the grass, on the pavement, whatever it is. And it takes time. They have to think. Their digestion will be better. That's just a little hint from Dave. All right, guys, we're gonna spend the rest of the show doing a Locals Community Q &A. Joseph is at the computer with the internet right there. If you wanna get a question in live, You can go to rubinreport.locals.com. And here we go. Sarah says, welcome back. What do you look forward to when you come back from August?

43:11And what do you most dread? I think I would like to be able to text friends and family and I would hate having a phone to doom scroll on. I mean, what do I look forward to most? I mean, honestly, it's doing the show and being with my team. Like these guys are all my friends and we all hang out outside of the office. And I do love doing this for all the frustrating things with politics and dealing, and you know, I keep saying, I didn't think about any of these people. Like I didn't think of Hassan or Zorhan or any, like I didn't, but I do love doing this and I love interacting with you guys and all of that stuff.

43:44But really seeing my friends, the fact that Connor got engaged, Phoenix got engaged, like everyone's lives continued and, you know, that we come here every day and it's fun and we're laughing and all that stuff. That's what I miss the most. What did I dread the most? You know, I always have this weird, literally, I kid you not on August 31st, I have this weird 24 hours where, I think I said something like this to Drew, where I'm like, boy, can I do this anymore? Do I even know how to do it anymore? Am I doing something that is net good? Does any of this matter when I try to explain some of this stuff?

44:17Like, it seems like things just slowly keep getting worse. Like, you know, how can I be better about it? Like, do I want to just narrate the end of the world? Like, I get into like this weird existential crisis after having 30 great days. Like, I'm telling you, I had the best month of my life. It was fun. It was fulfilling on a personal level. So much time with the kids and family and friends. And, you know, as I said, we went to Greece and we traveled and it was just great. But yeah, the doom scrolling, I feel like, well, I said to Phoenix right before the show today, I feel like I don't have a great handle on everything just yet.

44:57Like I do think it's gonna take me probably another four or five days to fully get back into the fray. Like I'm looking at Twitter or X and it just all seems kind of particularly crazy. I'm seeing a lot of fighting still. Like I don't wanna be part of that and I wanna do something that's better and more elevated here. And I also, you know, I did notice because yesterday I was on my phone more than I had been for a month and I'm trying to control it. That I had like a little like kind of dull headache at the end of the night from looking at this thing. And yeah, the doom scrolling and all that.

45:25So each year I try to get a little bit better at it. Bill says, what was the most shocking thing to come back to, whether in the news, your personal life, or with the team? You know, news-wise, nothing blew me away. Nothing really blew me away. There wasn't anything. Yeah, I mean, there was just kind of the usual political stuff. You know, Dolly passed and, you know, a few other things. because there was nothing really shocking on that front. What was the second part of the question? It was all about shocking or was it also, or in my personal life or with the team? I mean, my personal life, there was nothing shocking to come back to, because I was more invested in my personal life than I get to be all the time.

46:03Like, truly the joy of the whole thing was just spending so much time with my kids. Like, just waking up every, I was able to wake up every morning with them, which I'm still, I'm doing this week too. And I'm gonna try to do for the near future. Like, they're usually up at 7 a.m. and I'm gonna just try to wake up with them and play through like that early morning time with them. And then as I mentioned to Drew, getting to go to my house that I grew up in, my parents bought in 1979 when I was three years old and to go into the basement where I used to play with, you know, G.I. Joe and Transformers and Star Wars when I was four years old.

46:39And then to have my kids playing literally with my toys in that room and playing with them was just, I can't even explain what that is. Like it's as affirming and validating about the circle of life as you can possibly get. It was just unbelievably awesome. Took him to my elementary school. It was just great. But I am happy to be back too. Bradford says, yeah, there was nothing dread. I wasn't dreading anything. I wasn't. It was just more like, how do I be better at what I can do? And I'm really, as I said the other day, I'm just open to your opinions on that. How do we do this better? There are a gajillion podcasters now, and every time you put water on one, they multiply into 20 others.

47:22And it's like, I wanna be better than that. It's as simple as that. Bradford says, just like Hillary, Tella Lyrio is leading far ahead in the polls versus Paxson. Can the polls be trusted for this anti-capitalist lying racist? So I asked the guys, I don't know what the numbers are, so we just checked. So right now, according to a new poll by the Texan, 44 % would vote for Tallarico and 43.6 % would vote for Paxton, 12.6 % undecided. I mean, again, I'm not sitting here telling you Paxton is the most dynamic candidate. He's a little boring, he's not that engaging. He's roughly sane, guys. And if you're in Texas, you gotta talk to your friends, go to Austin, which is the bluest blue part of town, and wake some of these people up.

48:09This guy will open the borders again. You heard the stuff earlier in the show about capitalism, like, don't let, I mean, Texas? Texas is gonna become purple? Like, is that really where we're at? But don't think it can happen. I know we all think of Texas as cowboys and oil and all of that stuff, but don't forget that a couple years back, I always forget the number, was it 2.6, Ted Cruz beat Beto O 'Rourke by I think only 2.6 points, okay, whatever it is. It was under three points, and Beto O 'Rourke was completely bananas lefty. Now, Tallarico's worse, but Ted Cruz was certainly better than Paxton.

48:47So that's where we're at. That is where we're at. Was I right 2.6? Yes, I was right 2.6. Hot damn. Dave says, welcome back. Love the recap. Really love the shoes. I'm a retro Reebok guy, but these look like a new replacement. Can you let me know who makes them? So first off, do we have a picture of my shoes that I wore? I rock the no socks thing, which I don't do on camera that often, but I do when I'm out and about here in Miami. you know, it's hot and whatever. So those are Olakai's, which are a Hawaiian brand. And I got those in August because in Greece, you know, the white shoe thing and wearing linen and clothes that are a little less fitting, a little bit bigger are nice.

49:25And then I liked them so much. I really did love them. And they're super comfortable that I've got them now in a couple of different, in a couple of different colors. And the cool thing about them is they're designed also for like, you know, for kind of beach and everything. So the back folds in. Can you believe that? It's like a transformer as a shoe. It's Optimus Shoe Bot. How about that? And they're just great. And they're really comfortable. They're a little bit wider also than kind of standard shoes. That is not product placement. I suppose it's product placement, but that is not a paid sponsorship or anything else.

49:59But they're really great. I dig them. And I kind of like showing a little ankle. You gotta give the people what they want on the computer there. Carol says, did you see the trailer for the new Harry Potter TV series? I did not. I assume that that dropped in August, but then the guy said to me, Dave, why don't you watch it live on the Rubin Report on today's show? Here we go.

50:25Before the start of Term Banquet, First years will partake in the sorting ceremony.

50:37Granger Hermione. Hi. Did you love the summer reading? There was summer reading. Weasley Ronald. Oi!

50:52Potter Harry. The house we're putting basically decides our entire future. So, no pressure. Not Slytherin. Not Slytherin. Gryffindor!

51:10Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts.

51:18Big T, lads! How are we feeling? Mr. Porter, I expect you to work hard. Find what sparks your interest. And make solid friendships.

51:39Everyone thinks I'm this great wizard. I give up. But I don't really know anything. Let's hope you show some talent with the Quidditch, bitch, Potter. You certainly not exhibited any in here

52:01Families more than just blood you'll find your place

52:11We found something incredible

52:18Tom Homan:I can't protect them. I can only prepare them. For what? Anything could be lurking behind any door in this place.

52:39Oh, come on. Don't you two read?

52:46Wait, I'm gonna ask a stupid question, but that feels like a prequel because they're all very young, but isn't that what happened in the first one, that they're going to the school for the first time and all that? Or were they... Those were movies? This is a television series. It's a TV series. Well, I understand. It's a TV series, but it takes... So it's the same... Oh, so they're just taking the movies and making them into a TV series. Yes. One season is each movie. Oh, one season is each... Well, that's... Okay, so, well, I should say, first off, I'm not a huge Harry Potter guy. You guys know in the world of fantasy and all that, I love robots and future stuff in space.

53:20That's generally my genre. I'm a little less with the little twig and the zingy-dingy, wingy-wangy. I move the stone. Look at me. But I get it. I get it. It's a cultural phenomenon. You know, I'm a little bit too old for it in some sense, but like also having kids, like we're going to, David loved all the movies and read all of the books two or three times. and he's really looking forward to when we can read the books to the kids. They're four now, so it's probably a little bit early for the first one is The Sorcerer's Stone, which I guess is what that series is based on. That's an interesting idea though.

53:51They're calling it The Sorcerer's Stone, which was the name of the first movie, right? Yeah, and book. Yeah, book and movie, right. So that's interesting to me and that to me seems like what Star Wars probably should have done where they've mucked up everything for 20 years. The idea that you could take the movies and then make them into series where you could make everything so much richer and still largely tell the same story is actually kind of cool. So I like the idea of what they're doing there, even if it's not exactly my thing, but I will let you know when we start reading them, reading those books to the kids.

54:25Right last night, we did Pete the Cat. This cat is cool. He is a cool cat, man. Kelly says, I'm terrified that the cost of gas is going to supersede everything else that is good, that everything else good that is happening in the world. What are your thoughts on that and how Trump could get out in front of the messaging so that people feel better about what is coming and not just focus on today? We're almost at$4 a gallon in Alabama and I know people are getting tired of it. My groceries don't seem to be affected. I believe he has to finish off the Iranian regime. Yeah, well look, at the end of the day, people generally vote with their pocketbook.

55:02So if they sort of feel good about the economy, they're gonna not feel the need to maybe punish who's in power that much. In terms of gas prices, they are a bit high. Everything that I've seen over the last month or so that I just got caught up on on the war in Iran is kind of a stalemate. Now Trump's joking that maybe it'll be the trade of Trump instead of the trade of Hormuz. There was a video of Scott Besson yesterday, again, talking about how we've decimated so much of their military and everything else, but gas prices do seem to be too high. I'm gonna guess, my guess would be that Trump will have some tricks in his pocket to get a little liquidity in the economy going and get some prices down before the midterms.

55:42Like, because you're right, the average person, you might just be a Trump person and you're like, you know, prices are, I'm just not even gonna vote. And again, that gets to the apathy thing that I mentioned earlier. But I would say even if gas prices are high and Trump can't do anything about it, or even if he doesn't do whatever he can do about it, just know what we are up against. And if you think that the Democrats, I know you don't, But if someone out there thinks that if the Democrats taking power, that's gonna make gas prices go down, or it's gonna make the world safer, or it's gonna be better for America, or it's going to wreck all of those things.

56:17So again, that's why I'm saying we gotta get a little crazy. Like we got, they're really good at scaring people all the time. Maybe we have to scare people a little bit. It's not generally like the arrow that I'm going to, but maybe we do have to go there. All right, one more for you. Nimbus says, what part of the person you were during those 30 days off the grid? Do you wanna protect now that you're back and make sure the internet politics and this job don't take away from you again? That is a good one, Nimbus.

56:47You know, I was as present as I could possibly be all the time. I'm not saying I was present every second of every moment of the day, but I wasn't distracted with things. I did not, in the quiet moments, I did not have this thing to stare at. That breeds a certain calmness. Like I would look at my order ring at night and my stress levels, and I'm not very stressed in general, but my stress levels were really, really down. It was constantly telling me I was in like that relaxed zone. You know, the interactions that I had with people, like all of them, and I'm not just talking about family and friends and everything else, like anyone, whether it was a waiter or someone coming up to me at the airport or whatever it was.

57:33Like I was very, very present in all of those conversations and all of those moments. And I think we need more of that. We're all kind of sidetracked with whatever is going on in the world and it stops your ability to just be here and in the now. And I'm as guilty of that as everybody, as anyone else. So I think that's what it is more than else. And also I think one thing that I've thought a lot about and I was really, when I was sitting on the beach going through things, is that I would tell you guys, I am worried about the state of the world. I don't worry about small things in life. Like whatever's going on in my house or businesses, like there are ups and downs and things happen here and there.

58:15And I just don't worry about those things. Like you have to solve problems every now and again. Like sometimes you have to literally solve a problem. Your water heater blew up, which happened to us. Like there are things that happen. You might have an interpersonal problem at work or you got a family problem or someone you know passed away or whatever it might be. But I'm usually not worried about just sort of day-to-day things, not to diminish them. I'm usually worried about just like the state of human civilization. Like that's actually what I worry about. And one of the things that I was trying to work through a lot was how can I, there's a limit to what I can do about it, right?

58:50Like I think we can affect things in a certain way. It's why I do this. If I didn't think that we could affect things, I just would not do this anymore. I would find something else to do. But I wanna worry about it a little bit less. So that's something that I'm gonna continue to work on and think about. And I'm open to all sorts of suggestions on that, as I'm on that path. I thank you guys for watching. We got a post game show in moments, rubenreport.locals.com. And then I got actual friends later and a whole bunch of other stuff. It's good to be back though. Thank you guys. See you tomorrow.
