In short

The episode centers on Anthony Fauci’s Senate testimony, framed as a confrontation with Senator Rand Paul and as evidence (from a purported Fauci “diary”) that Fauci’s public COVID messaging differed from his private behavior. The host also pivots to related claims about COVID policy harms, media hypocrisy, and then discusses U.S. politics (Maine Senate race, Chicago crime messaging, and Florida gubernatorial politics).

Guest backgrounds

No named guests appear in the transcript. The episode includes commentary on public figures and clips from other media (e.g., Jesse Watters, Ron Johnson, Josh Hawley, Bernie Moreno, Elizabeth Warren, John Fetterman, Jake Tapper), but not podcast guests.

Key claims

Fauci repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment to avoid answering questions during the hearing. The host argues Fauci lied or obfuscated earlier testimony and that emergency authorization for COVID drugs/vaccines required discrediting alternatives like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. The host claims Fauci’s diary shows obsession with press/celebrity and that he privately supported behaviors contradicting public restrictions. The host argues COVID restrictions harmed children and that media figures selectively criticized “liars” based on politics.

Notable examples

Rand Paul challenging Fauci on gain-of-function monkeypox and CIA-to-NIH funding; Hawley asking Fauci trivial questions (tie/carpet) to test Fifth Amendment refusal; claims about Fauci’s diary entries referencing Joan Baez, Julia Roberts, and press; Ron Johnson citing ivermectin/HCQ study efficacy; clips alleging Fauci pushed school closures; discussion of Maine’s Troy Jackson replacing Graham Plattner; Chicago posting signs saying crime is illegal.

0:00I've tried a lot of seafood over the years, guys, and truly it's been hit or miss. You know, sometimes it looks great, but then you cook it and it just doesn't have that flavor or freshness you expect. So finding something reliable has made a huge difference. Wild Alaskan Company really changed that for me. It's the best way to receive high quality wild caught seafood delivered right to your door on your schedule. The first box I got was super easy to use. Everything comes individually portioned and vacuum sealed, so there's no guesswork. I cooked that wild Alaskan sockeye salmon just in a pan with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper, and it turned out fantastic.

0:34Clean flavor, great texture, and didn't feel like frozen fish at all. I've also tried the wild Pacific cod, which I love. It's light and flaky and really easy to work in when you need a quick dinner. What stood out is that the fish is quick frozen right after it's caught in Alaska, so it locks in that freshness along with the nutrients like omega-3s, and it's clean. no GMOs, no antibiotics, no additives, and it supports sustainable fishing and Alaskan fishermen. They're so confident in the quality that there's 100 % satisfaction, money-back guarantee, so there's no risk in trying it. Go to wildalaskan.com slash Rubin for$35 off your first order of premium wild-caught seafood.

1:09That's wildalaskan.com slash Rubin for$35 off your first order. Hey, Chicagoland, the Wayfair store is in your neighborhood at Edens Plaza in Wilmette. Finally, you can feel the fabric, sit on the sectionals, and even open the refrigerators. Plus, our in-store designers will help you bring it all together with free one-on-one design support for any project on any budget. Yep, we said free. Oh, and did we mention the cafe? So what are you waiting for? Come see all that's in store. Visit the Wayfair store today at Edens Plaza and Wilmette. Wayfair, every style, every home. Previously on the Rubin.

1:45These are all the red flags. You look like he was on a vendor. Maybe he was on some data vendor. ID to vote. I believe that it will disproportionately affect African-American voters. I think black people know how to get on planes. I think they know how to drive cars. I think they know how to go to clubs at night and show an ID.

2:26All right, how's it going, everybody? I'm Dave Rubin. This is The Rubin Report. It is July 29th, 2026. Happy birthday to my sister, Tal. We love you. 41 years young. You're catching up to me. Before we do anything today, and as you know, we have two programs left, two live shows today and tomorrow, and then Friday, we're doing something very, very special for you. Trust me, we're going to tape it today. You're going to want to watch the Friday show. We've never done anything like it before. You're going to really, really dig it. But tomorrow is our last live show before I go off the grid. But before we get to the program today, we've been talking about this subscriber situation and you guys are coming through for us.

3:08We've gotten thousands and thousands of subscribers last couple of days. But as of this morning, still 54.2 % of you who watch the show are not subscribed. More than half of you who watch all the time are not subscribed. 45.8 are subscribed. Let's flip those numbers. Let's get you in there. All you have to do is go like this. Bing. Or what is it? A dial. Whoosh. Or boing. Or bing. Or that should probably stop that before we get demonetized. Before we also dive in, I want to show you one thing. You know, we're really leaning in. And one of the things I have my guys, you know, they are taking vacation in August, but we do set up a ton of stuff.

3:45We have content coming out every day and everything else. but I also give, I task everybody with little things to learn, things that we can, you know, progress, that we can just make better over the course of the next year and everything else. So we're really leaning into a lot of this AI stuff. So we just did this one yesterday, and I thought you'd like it before we get going.

4:09We should have voter ID. I agree. Let's keep women's sports for women. Keep the borders closed and secure. Abolish the presidency, abolish prisons, abolish the Senate, replace the Supreme Court, abolish all borders. Full communism now. Yeah, there you go. So that's up on my Twitter if you want to share it. And yeah, we're just going to figure out new ways to do those. I think we're going to do a bunch of them while I'm off the grid. I'm going to have the team put them up on social media and on locals. And we're going to work on like movies and sitcoms and all sorts of stuff. Every year I want this show to be better and for us to just lead on all of these things.

4:45That is the plan. Okay, let's get to it. I have a feeling you know what the top of the show is today because we started talking about it yesterday. But as we speak, Anthony Fauci, who is the science, he is testifying under oath to the Senate right now and it is not going well. He's not saying much, but it is not going well. So we're gonna dive in with a whole bunch of clips and then we'll turn back the clock a little bit to figure out how we got here. Then we'll connect it to all the other things going on in the world. Let's start with this. This is about an hour ago, right at the beginning of the hearing.

5:19Obviously the main antagonist, well, Fauci's the antagonist, I suppose, but Fauci's main antagonist at the moment is Rand Paul. And they really do not like each other. They've been going after each other for a long time, particularly Paul going after Fauci for lying or at least obfuscating some of the truth, let's say. But here, there was an interesting moment because Fauci is the one under oath. His lawyer is not supposed to speak, but his lawyer chose to speak repeatedly, sometimes at volume levels that were a bit higher than everyone else. Rand Paul was not having it. But the attorneys are not recognized.

5:59In fact, the attorney was told not to sit at the table and he's not obeying that recommendation. There's a row behind you, sir. You're not recognized, sir. That's where you were told to sit, and you're not. And now you're disrupting the proceedings. And so, look, this is the way Anthony Fauci wants to be remembered. For a lawyer not listening to the rules, that's the way you want to be remembered, and that's what you're going to do. You are not recognized, sir. Security, please remove him from the room.

6:35Let the record state that Dr. Fauci will still have the advice of the other half a dozen attorneys that he brought along today. Okay, so to be clear, he's allowed to have a lawyer there. They recommended the lawyer not be at the table, and the lawyer was not allowed to speak. That's just the process. Those are the rules that they have during these hearings. And you could see repeatedly the lawyer was trying to interrupt Rand Paul. Obviously, Rand Paul has a very short fuse when it comes to this guy. So you could say, all right, some of that is theatrics or whatever else. But Fauci chose to have the lawyer sit at the table, which they asked him not to.

7:08And he's not supposed to speak fact. So they just booted the guy. That's how it began. And then Rand Paul began to ask Anthony Fauci some basic questions. Here's how that went. Dr. Fauci, were you ever made aware of gain-of-function research on monkeypox being conducted at the National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center and back at Fort Dedrick?

7:33On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution. Dr. Fauci, did the CIA ever transfer funds to NIH under an interagency agreement?

7:51On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution.

8:03Okay, so this went on and on, and Fauci is invoking his Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate himself. And by the way, that's how the system works, and he is allowed to do it. And I think Rand Paul said, you have six other lawyers there. That is obviously what they told him. Now, the issue here, of course, for those of you that missed the show yesterday, we went into this, but remember, Joe Biden and or Autopen or whoever was behind Autopen preemptively pardoned Fauci for whatever it is he did while he was head of NIH, right? The issue is that he was testifying under oath previously. So right now in this hearing, even if he's preemptively pardoned for everything he did then, the reason he can't say anything now, and I'm not dismissing the usefulness and the importance of the Fifth Amendment, the reason he can't say anything now is he can't contradict what he said under oath because that would be perjury now if he suddenly started telling the truth and then it was like, but wait a minute, you're not getting in trouble for what you said last time.

9:05It's that you're lying, we know you're lying about it now, right, you're obfuscating, you were obfuscating before, and you're not preemptively pardoned for what you are saying right now. So this repeatedly went on. He will not say anything about anything. And then, well, then it got a little weird because Josh Hawley did a little clever trick here. He was like, well, if this guy's just gonna fit the amendment this whole thing, let me ask him some basic questions and let's see what happens. What day of the week is it today?

9:36On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution. What color tie are you wearing? On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution. What color is the carpet in front of you?

9:58On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment. All right. Again, I don't want to make this whole conversation about the Fifth Amendment and why you have a right to not incriminate yourself. It's clever what Holly's doing there, because obviously, you know, Fauci was told, do not answer any question, period. Right. Nothing. So Holly's trying to, like, burst the bubble on that thing. And you would think if, I get it, everyone has to, they listen to the advice of their lawyers and that is what you are supposed to do. But you would think just optically, Fauci for a moment might be like, all right, the questions that are about what I did with, you know, Wuhan or funding this or that or whatever, okay, I'll do the Fifth Amendment on that.

10:41But on the basic stuff about my tire, the carpet, maybe I could do it just to not make this look wholly ridiculous and yet here we are. I'm getting this one on the fly, apparently. This one just happened a few seconds ago. This is Ohio Republican Senator Bernie Moreno, and apparently it got a little spicy. When that story broke, I said to myself, I cannot stand I. Lee on the side and watch this happen. It was about six years ago today that I decided I'm going to give up my businesses, sell them all, run for office, run through the United States Senate. it. Here I am sitting in front of you six years later saying, who the fuck do you think you were for doing that?

11:24Wow. I mean, that's righteous indignation. Like that's, uh, that's real and raw. Like that's not a guy who wanted to be a politician, gave up his businesses. We know all of the things, all of the things that we all went through, whether it was our kids not going to school or missing or missing a wedding or missing the prom or not going to grandma's funeral or not going to graduation, I mean, we can do all of those things. The rates of anxiety that went up, the amount that people were drinking more, like all of the stuff, and it was because of that guy. And I say on the show all the time, when they do these hearings, it's like, does anything ever come of it?

12:02Does any, okay, you get a hearing, this guy lied about this, we exposed that person about that, but does anything come of it? I don't think Anthony Fauci is gonna end up in jail here, I really do not. but is it possible that he will be so, his reputation will be so tarnished that he will just be left in the dustbin of history instead of, as the media called him throughout all of COVID, a hero and he's brave and he's an American patriot and all of the things that they said about him, that maybe enough crap will stick on him now that yeah, he'll probably won't lose his government pension. I think it's about 400 grand a year.

12:36He probably won't lose that. But that at least, that at least when he goes out to restaurants, after all that this man did, and I am so freaking glad, and we were all talking about it after the show yesterday, that everyone in this room did not get vaxxed. Like, we have no idea the damage this man caused. No idea, largely because of his ego, which we'll get to in just a second. So Bernie Moreno, and again, that was the first time I was seeing the clip because it just happened, like, all right, you're gonna drop an F-bomb every now and again, and yeah, you screwed up people's lives. Here is Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin and talking about how Fauci actually covered up studies that showed that HCQ and ivermectin, that actually they could have worked against COVID.

13:21And the reason he covered them up was because they would have never got emergency authorization on the vaxes had he not. Take a look. You know, so there's no evidence. There's no evidence that ivermectin is helpful. On that exact same day, and I've got the studies right here. There was a website. that was tracking the random controlled studies. Here they are, showing 60%, 70 % efficacy of ivermectin. The same thing you say there's no evidence, there was all kinds of evidence.

14:02Loved ones had to go to hospitals, had to sue hospitals. Just, would you try it? so i would want to know you know to what extent were you involved in sabotaging hydroxychloroquine ivermectin and and did you do that because you knew the only way you get emergency use authorization for these drugs these experimental gene therapy was if there was no effective treatment you couldn't get the emergency use authorization so is that is that why you help sabotage these cheap generic drugs in favor of remdesivir, which, by the way, nurses, are you aware of the fact that nurses called it run, death is near?

14:46On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment. All right. So you're starting to get the theme here. This guy is not going to say anything. And again, it's because if he says anything right now, then it could prove that he he was perjuring, that he was lying the first time around. So nothing he said the first time around is gonna get him in trouble. It's if he lies now that he could get caught. But everything Ron Johnson said right there is correct. Listen to this from the FDA. The FDA may authorize unapproved medical products or unapproved uses of approved medical products when certain criteria are met, including there are no adequate approved and available alternatives.

15:29So you understand that. Fauci, to help force through the vaccines, needed people to believe that HCQ, ivermectin, etc. did not work. Otherwise, they could have never got the emergency authorization, which then, of course, they did get. and hundreds of millions of Americans then got shots of mRNA that was largely untested. And we don't know what it has done to people's hearts and other health, other things related to their health, including Fauci himself, who as we covered yesterday, apparently had a mild cardio infarction in the midst of all this and then hit it, which may have occurred because of the vaccine.

16:13Okay, let's put the legal part down for just a second and back up to how this all happened, this all, or how this hearing happened. And it happened because somehow Anthony Fauci had a diary on government servers that has now been exposed. And it really appears as Bobby Kennedy was talking about on the show yesterday, that the public version of Anthony Fauci was very different than the private version. And I said yesterday, it's like, if they had, if the diary had appeared and it was just like you saw that he was struggling with all these decisions and he didn't know exactly what to do and he was saying, but I wanna err on the side of health.

16:51So, you know, we will shut down the schools and we're gonna have to keep looking into this and everything else. Then actually, I think this would probably be largely a non-story right now. Like there's so much going on with the socialism stuff and the SAVE Act and Iran and everything else that they wouldn't even be having this hearing. But because the public facing Fauci for years that we were presented with is completely at odds with what we're seeing out of his diary, that is what is bringing this back into the fold. So here's Jesse Waters on Fox with a bit of what was going on in Fauci's diary.

17:24It was Beatlemania. Dear diary, there were the usual selfies galore. Fauci didn't complain. He was in no rush. Most doctors fighting a pandemic would skip the selfies and get straight to work. Not him. He bathed in the attention. Deep down, he knew the

17:46THEIR DIARY, JOAN BAEES CALLED ME AND WE HAD A WONDERFUL CONVERSATION WITH HER CALLING ME AN AMERICAN HERO. JOAN BAEES WILL RECEIVE THE KENNEDY CENTER AWARD. SHE HAS INVITED ME AS HER GUEST. WHAT FUN. JUST SPOKE WITH HER OVER THE PHONE TO CHECK IF THERE WILL BE MASK WEARING SINCE THE PRESS WILL HAVE A FIELD DAY IF THEY SAW ME WITH JOAN AND WE DID NOT have masks. Obviously Fauci knew the mask mandate was a ruse but had to keep up appearing. All right well look anyone would like to be invited to the Kennedy Center to see Joan Baez but what a what a damper on the party if you've masked up the whole country and then you can't have you know a 1942 give me a fancy old wine from around 1942 find me something.

18:33If you can't have one of those when you're celebrating when you've got the whole other rest of the country I asked Joseph to check during that clip. Why is it, because I think everyone's thinking the same thing here, why is it that this man put his diary, which was completely at odds with his public facing persona on government servers? Apparently he was writing this all in a Word document that was on a government computer. And I, yeah, and basically I guess their intranet, like their internal government internet has access to all of these things. So lesson learned for you government officials who are doing some weird things on your government computers.

19:06Here's a bit more from Jesse Waters on Fauci's seeming obsession with the celebrities who were enjoying him. And as we read deeper into the diary, it appears Fauci thought celebrities were sexually attracted to him. Dear diary, I received virtually the award of courage presented to me virtually by Julia Roberts from her breakfast room in her home in Northern California. She was so charming. WHEN MY IMAGE CAME UP ON THE SCREEN, SHE GASPED AND SAID THAT EVERY TIME SHE SEES ME, HER THROAT GETS DRY AND SHE GETS NERVOUS AND EXCUSE HERSELF TO GO INTO THE KITCHEN TO GET A GLASS OF WATER. FAUCI WAS HOT.

19:48LATER THEY HAD A SECOND DATE. HOW RAD THAT WE HAVE MAYBE THE COOLEST MAN ON THE PLANET RIGHT NOW. WOW. AND THERE'S THE ROOM. THIS IS INTENSE. DOES ANYBODY ELSE HAVE A... HELLO. HI THERE. Good morning. Good morning. Oh, this is a thrill for me. How profoundly ridiculous when you look back on this, like regardless of what you thought of the whole thing, like that they tried to make him in a hero and she, oh my God, she gasps when she sees Anthony Fauci and all. Like it's, I don't know how in 30 or 40 years we're going to explain this to anyone. No one will believe that any of this stuff happened, right?

20:30Like it's so absolutely crazy. But also think about, so Fauci again in the diary, he's right, like think about all the things that he was dealing with and lockdowns and knowing that he had something to do with the Wuhan lab of virology, all of the stuff. And yet he's taking time every day to be like, oh, and I was very excited to have a drink with Joan Baez. And, you know, Julia Roberts, pretty woman really likes me. How exciting. And that they're laughing through all of this. You know, it's sort of like Gavin Newsom showing up at French Laundry with lobbyists at an indoor dinner where I think they spent about$20 ,000 on wine alone while they were literally locking down the outdoor restaurants in California.

21:14and you're like, these people should all be shamed into oblivion. So again, while I will just repeat myself one more time, while I really don't think anything major is going to happen here, they're not going to put them in shackles and throw them into a pit somewhere, maybe it will just be enough of a reminder for all of us right now that these people don't deserve our respect. And the road to hell is paved with good intentions. So I don't think Anthony Fauci, probably when he started his career 40 years ago, was an evil man, but everyone is susceptible to what power will do and how it will corrupt you and the failings of ego and everything else.

21:50And is all of this, is the most likely reasoning for the absurdity between his public and private persona, is the most likely reasoning that he just started enjoying the fame and the power. That might be it, but you're not allowed to do that as a public servant. Here is a bit more from Tom Elliott, who writes something called the Fauci files on Substack, he checked this out. So he put, he did a search in these, in the diary. So never once in Fauci's diary did he write about peer review, meta analysis, risk benefit, learning loss, mental health. One time he wrote N95, seroprevalence, cost benefit.

22:33Twice he wrote about cloth mask, school closure, natural immunity against which, listen to them, this is where it gets weird. How many times in his diary did he write the word award? 80 times. How many times hero? 49. Instagram, 36. Bobblehead, yes, there was an Anthony Fauci bobblehead. 23 times, selfie, 19. And press, 641. That's the interesting one. So what Fauci seemed to be most concerned about at a ridiculously disproportionate level was what the press was saying about him. And that is rather fascinating. Here's one more from Tom Elliott. it. Recall where we were in 2020, 2021. Graduations canceled, funerals capped at 10, then banned, a school year gone, then most of another.

23:18Weddings postponed twice and held in backyards. Parents who died alone because the guidance said no visitors to nursing homes. On and on it went. What was Fauci doing during these years? Dinner parties with the tappers, a private concert with four ambassadors, unimpeded travel, champagne on the Kennedy Center deck. That might have been the Joan Baez thing. Pizza parties, standing ovations, groupies mobbing him. Bezos's mansion, Aspen, Jose Andres offering to cook for him privately. Fauci's diary shows us that the man most upstream of every restriction in American life spent the pandemic almost entirely unburdened by any one of them.

23:54I mean, yeah, it is unimaginably horrible. Prep for a busy week with Whole Foods market. Start your day with fully cooked breakfast sausages from Amy Lou, 365 brand frozen waffles with no bleached flours, and of course, Whole Foods market eggs, which are all cage-free or better. In the evening, bring home a build-your-own family meal that feeds four for just$35. Choose one entree and two sides. Shop smarter, not harder, at Whole Foods market. and it's not really evil what they did. Think about this right here, everyone in this room. The only reason we live in Florida right now is because of Anthony Fauci.

24:39Yes, Gavin Newsom, but he was downstream from that. Fauci was the head of the snake of the COVID monster, right? Now I'm thrilled that we live in Florida, right? And there's a million other reasons that I wanna live here and everything else, but think about the millions of people that literally uprooted their lives. people who had family and friends and businesses. What did Bernie Moreno just say? I closed my businesses and basically F you because of Fauci. And now we're finding out that on a government document, he was writing mostly about his fame. Like that is bananas. So guys, I got a good call she went for you here.

25:18So who will be charged with a federal crime in 2026? Here's what the call she markets are showing. Guys, you know the call she's like buying or selling a stock except the line isn't set by an algorithm working against you. It moves based on where the money actually goes. So if you put$100 on, yes, Anthony Fauci, you can earn$481 if correct. It's up to you. Download the CallShe app and use code RubenReport to get up to$500 in bonus credits when you trade 25 bucks or go to callshe.com slash RubenReport. Let's continue here because so much of this is about that 641 word, 641 time word that he put in the document, which in the diary, which was press.

26:01He was obsessed with press. And there were certain people in the press that were glazing him over and over. My buddy Rob Finnerty over on Newsmax here, he is ripping into Fauci's hypocrisy and well, a little bit about Fauci's good buddy, Jake Tapper. While your mother was dying of COVID-19 or your brother or your grandmother or your daughter, when your teenager was diagnosed with myocarditis or pericarditis. Tony Fauci was at Jake Tapper's house having lobster. They weren't wearing masks. While you were locked down, while your business was forced to close, Tony and Jake were sipping Anna Zett, making fun of Laura Ingraham.

26:36Here's an entry from July 2020. Quote, after my Laura Ingraham hit, Jake Tapper texted me saying, sarcastically, hard to believe Laura Ingraham went to Dartmouth, isn't it? All of us alumni are very proud. End quote. apparently jake went to dartmouth ivy league school and he can't believe that somebody dirty like laura ingram went to the same school and graduated from the same school yeah so there's just you know what it is it's that there's so much things have to get to closure right like you need in life like think about sometimes you've been you've been harmed by a friend or you've been wronged by a family member or something has gone out you know awry at work a relationship this that the other thing.

27:21The problem with the COVID thing, maybe this is really what it is. I'm doing this on the fly right now. I'm just working this out with you guys, is that we didn't get closure with any of this. Like one day, everything kind of opened up again. And yeah, you got the vaxxer, you didn't get the vaccine. Yeah, your son might have myocarditis. You guys know, I know a young person who was a somewhat public person, early 20s, who would probably not want me to mention his name, who has myocarditis now, was completely fine before all of this, had to get the vax to go to school, I tried to get them to not do it.

27:50But like all of the things, the people who didn't get to go to their grandmother's funerals and all the things, we don't have to repeat all of it. But like we never, so then the world opens up again and we all just get back on the hamster wheel and life goes on again. But we never like solve, we never, we say you can't solve it. We never wrap ourselves basically around like what did happen and how do we make sure it doesn't happen again and do most of us agree that it shouldn't happen again and everything else? And because we never got to that conclusion, I think that's why this feels so raw and ridiculous and awful and yet important, despite everything else going on in the world.

28:34Here is, and then here's the other part. It's that it's so deeply connected to everything wrong with the media. And here is a perfect illustration of that. This is video of 2020. Johnny, Jake Tapper and a very portly giant Brian Stelter. Thank God for Ozempic for this guy talking about how they wouldn't have certain people on their show in Tapper's case because they're associated with Trump and they don't like science. And I think one of the things about the Trump era was you kind of had to steal yourself for interviews with people that might misrepresent the facts and might and might. So, you know, at a certain point, once somebody like proved themselves to be a liar, I just stopped booking them.

29:22There are some people that are such they're just so mendacious. I just wouldn't put them on air. Kayleigh McEnany, I never booked her. Jason Miller from the Trump campaign. I would never book him. I mean, these are just people who just they just tell lies the way that, you know, most people breathe. I love Stelter with all the jello in his mouth. You're good, you're good. I can't, mm, mm, mm. Tapper, okay, so Kayleigh McEnany, I mean, I know her a bit privately and from her publicness, and that she was a wonderful White House press secretary. She's beyond the pale, or Jason Miller, whatever, I don't really know him.

30:03But okay, so it's always people on the right that are beyond the pale. By the way, you know who else Jake Tapper banned from his show? Bobby Kennedy, yeah, Bobby Kennedy. He was just, he was such a liar. It's so over the top, he's lying. It's interesting, Jake, and someone let us know in the comments, has Jake ever banned anyone on the left on a show? Is there any Democrat? Democrats lie about everything all the time. That's basically my life's work, is just showing you clips of that. Have any of them ever been banned from Jake's show? So that's, so you see what I'm saying? We have all the craziness, all the horribleness of what COVID did to us personally and to our lives and work and family, and all the, think about the family fighting that I had, that you had, that everyone had.

30:45You didn't get maxed, why didn't you get maxed? Trump's pushing it through, I hate Trump, I'm not gonna do it. Then the next day Biden's president, he's pushing it through, you better do it. All of the complete absurdity and the absolute insanity around all of this. And then you look at videos of people that are supposed to be trusted in the media, going those are the people you shouldn't trust, Kayleigh McEnany, but here, let me glaze Anthony Fauci. Now, I wonder, Jake, did you ever see a compilation like this? Because if you did, maybe you wouldn't have put Fauci on air. But they're really criticizing science because I represent science.

31:21If you're vaccinated, you really don't need to worry about getting it in a way that's serious or transmitting. That is true. That is correct, Chris. It'll need to protect you completely against infection. And the chances are very likely that you'll not be able to transmit it to other people. The risk is extremely low of transmitting it to anybody else. Full stock. Vaccinated people are clearly capable of transmitting the infection. Is that the right move for children and families? I think what's going on right now is generally an appropriate approach. You want to start doing something to socially distance yourself.

32:02how dramatic that is, closing schools and doing other things should be proportionate. It went too far that particularly for kids who couldn't go to school except remotely, that it's forever damaged them. Well, I don't think it's forever irreparably damaged anyone. Base of origin was not within the market itself. No, I don't think you could say that. There's a report today that another intelligence arm of the U.S. government, this is inside our energy department, has joined the FBI in concluding that COVID began with a lab leak in China. All right, guys, we just double-checked it. There was never a controlled study on six-foot social distancing before this.

32:42They were making this stuff up. The most disgusting part of that is where, who was it on Fox Business? Neil Cavuto says to him, what about kids? And he basically is like, I don't think there's any irreparable damage. What are you talking about? We will not know. Try to imagine. So a kid who's, let's say three to five, right? Like a three to five year old who you put in a mask for two years, you didn't let go to kindergarten. You like, if he got sick, you basically threw him in his room alone and put a tray of food out there. And I don't know that kid now it's, let's say it's seven, eight years later.

33:18So that kid's 11 or so. How many of them do you think are gonna have some sort of anxiety problems or attachment problems? Or we know speech problems are huge right now amongst young people because children that are learning to speak need to look at the mouth. They need to see how the mouth moves. Like there are so many things and he was so dismissive of all of that stuff. So again, whether he gets, he's not gonna be thrown in jail, but there just needs to be enough stank on him and all of the people who put us through this. Here's former Deputy Assistant Attorney General, John Yoo going off on how Fauci handled this entire thing.

33:58HE IS NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO TAKE A LOOK AT THEIR OWN DOLLARS. HE IS OBVIOUSLY RUNNING FROM THIS. THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST PUBLIC POLICY DISASTERS IN THE HISTORY OF THE AMERICAN REPUBLIC WHERE EXPERTS LIKE HIM OVERREACTED TO THE VIRUS, SHUT DOWN THE ECONOMY AT COSTS OF HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, INTERFERED WITH THE EVERYDAY LIVES OF EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN AND INFRINGED ON ALL OF OUR INDIVIDUAL FREEDOMS. AND SO NOW OF COURSE HE'S TRYING TO PRETEND HE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. BUT AS YOU SAY IN THE DIARY, HE RECORDS PRETTY METICULOUSLY ALL THESE GOVERNORS, MAYORS, MAYOR DE BLASIO IN NEW YORK, GOVERNOR NEWSOM IN CALIFORNIA URGING THEM TO SHUT DOWN BARS, RESTAURANTS, SCHOOLS, AND NOW HE'S PRETENDING HE DIDN'T DO THAT.

34:38SO IF YOU'RE A SENATOR, YOU WERE SAYING, WERE YOU TELLING THE TRUTH IN PUBLIC WHEN YOU SAID YOU HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT? DID YOU LIE YOUR DIARY? WHAT DID YOU ACTUALLY, WHAT WAS actually true in your mind. Tell us the truth now. And if you lie, you're committing perjury and could go to jail. Right, and again, if you lie about things that you already said, that's the issue, which is why he's pleading the fifth. Connor just reminded me that at the height of COVID, they did that insane Nat Geo documentary called Fauci. And I, as a media person or whatever the high hell I am, they sent us, was it Netflix or whoever it was, Nat Geo?

35:13It was National Geographic. It was National Geographic. They sent us an Anthony Fauci box, like a very expensive box. What was in it? There were t-shirts in it, maybe glasses. There was Anthony Fauci popcorn. I mean, think how absolutely insane. We're gonna try to get a screenshot, because I debuted it. I couldn't believe that they sent it to us. I couldn't believe that it existed in the first place. We're still in the middle of the pandemic and they're telling you that you shouldn't be obese and blah, blah, blah. Meanwhile, they're sending us Anthony Fauci, like sugary popcorn. I think we have a screenshot of it.

35:42We have it, he's working on it. Here we go, here we go. Look at this. Jesus, I've lost weight. I should have, that's what happened. I was like, yeah. But think I would say that is Disney Plus, National Geographic, Fauci, the box. It's like space balls. All right. Here's more, just him lying about everything. And the particular part that should bother everybody, of course, is what they did to children. They always come back and say Fauci was responsible for closing schools. I had nothing to do. I mean, let's get down to the facts. You really want to think twice before you start putting kids back to school.

36:24We have a lot of infection going on. I think you've really got to use judgment and carefully consider, do you really want to put the kids back in school? I believe was the right decision how long you kept them closed. So, like, what do we do with that? What do we do with that? There you have him flat out saying it. And then Jonathan Karl's the journalist like, yeah, you never said it. And then there's him saying, we shouldn't open them up. We should keep them closed and everything. So if he means it in the most technical, and this is why legal things make everyone crazy. If he means it in the most technical thing, is it likely that there's no note anywhere where he signed off on something like, go close the schools?

37:00I guess he probably didn't do that. But if you're out there on TV every day, scaring the hell out of everybody about what this is, even though it was not going to kill kids. And 20 years before, all you ever talked about was herd immunity, which then, okay, a whole bunch of kids will get sick and that's good. I remember when I was in like third grade, I got chicken pox and my buddy John, he got chicken pox too. And then a bunch of our friends got chicken pox and we all stayed at John's house and we had four great days at home, but we were all having chicken pox together. That's what you guys could have done and you freaked everybody the F out.

37:40Here is video of special advisor to President Trump at the time in the first go around, Dr. Scott Atlas talking to Laura Ingraham, again, about Fauci, the personality part of this that has, again, led to a lot of this. If he just had not been such a narcissist and lunatic and had such a deep chasm between public and personal, we wouldn't even be doing this right now. Fauci called you a real problem in his diary and asked for you to be removed from the task force. What's your response to everything he said? Well, you know, Laura, I wish I could say it was a surprise, but I saw it with my own eyes when I was there.

38:16In fact, I wrote about it in my book. First of all, he had a pathologic personality of a narcissist. I was told, and this is third hand, that he was standing on the White House lawn handing out cards to the reporters to solicit interviews before I got there. You know, this is really somebody who prioritized himself, as has been said already tonight on your show, was thrilled to be hanging out with Hollywood elites and doing podcasts with Julia Roberts and talking to Barbra Streisand. Meanwhile, working class people were being destroyed. They were being. Yeah, again, so you see the theme here, like there's just this disconnect.

38:52He clearly wanted to be a celebrity. He's saying one thing and then pretending he never said it. and the media's running cover for him, while at the same time they're saying, if you're a liar, we're not gonna put you on air, but that really only applies to people who worked with Trump. You know, as we were watching that clip, I'm reminded, Connor, you remember this? We had Dr. Drew on when I still lived in Florida, when I still lived in California, so this is probably around November of 21 or so. Dr. Drew had worked with Fauci over the years, and I was obviously very anti-lockdown, anti-mask, and I was really pushing Dr.

39:25Drew, and he was really going out of his way, this is now about five years ago, going out of his way to defend Fauci. And Dr. Drew now is one of the most red-pilled people in the world on all of this stuff and one of my most trusted sources. So even people who wanted to defend Fauci over the years and who did defend Fauci over the years are turning on him. And one of the main reasons I think is this edit right here, which pretty much nails the entire thing. I don't know how many times I can say it, Madam Chair, we did not fund gain-of-function research to be conducted in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

40:01We now know that a bat coronavirus was enhanced in a lab. The NIH and NIAID categorically has not funded gain-of-function research to be conducted in the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The National Institutes of Health acknowledged that it funded research of a virus that was studied at the Wuhan Institute of Bairro. So he's absolutely lying, whether you wanna try to get him for lying under Earth. Now look, that and that right there, he's already been preemptively pardoned for that. He's also playing with words because NIH funded EcoHealth. They gave a grant to EcoHealth, which then did the research.

40:41So they're being as loose, he's being as slippery as he can. Is it possible? Or Fauci, if you somehow as the head of NIH didn't know, you didn't know that NIH was giving grants to EcoHealth, which was funding this gain of function research. Then say that. But of course he's just gonna plead the fifth on everything. Guys, let's talk about chapter for just a minute and then we'll get to more on the other side. You know, if you or someone you love is on Medicare, this is worth paying attention to. Medicare can be confusing and a ton of people end up on the wrong plan without even realizing it. That's where chapter comes in.

41:14They're independent Medicare advisors who compare every plan available, not just the ones that pay them the most. They'll look at your doctors, hopefully not Anthony Fauci, prescriptions and healthcare needs to help you find the plan that's right for you. If you're already on the best plan, they'll tell you, and if not, they'll help you switch. The call is completely free, takes less than 20 minutes, and seniors who work with Chapter save an average of 1 ,100 bucks a year. Don't guess when it comes to healthcare. Call Chapter today at 332-867-0207 or visit askchapter.org slash Rubin. Again, that's 332-867-0207 or visit askchapter.org slash Rubin.

41:48Okay, let's put Fauci down for now. And obviously I have my last live show before going off the grid tomorrow. I sense there'll be a little more follow-up after whatever's going on literally as we speak right now in the Capitol. But let's jump over to Maine because we have not talked about Maine for a few weeks. As you know, there was a Nazi who wanted to rape dudes who broke into his house, who also apparently beat some women and he had a oyster farm, but it wasn't really an oyster farm or something, something, something, had to go away. So he went away and now they've decided there's a new guy and his name is Troy Jackson.

42:27Yes, who will be the Democratic nominee running for Senate against Susan Collins. And well, look at this from USA Today. Will Graham Plattner supporters back Troy Jackson in Maine's Senate race? Plattner fans are hurt, disappointed. Some are unenrolling from the Democrat party, But most seem to be united around his movement. So, you know, the thing that I kept saying about Plattner was there was nothing special about this guy other than he had that. What do they call that when you have the beard with a little longer mustache? We Googled it once. Like he just appeared to be a little more of a guy than most of the Democrats, because most of the Democrats are like this and they can't lift anything.

43:07And where's my soy? I need a latte with soy. This summer, turn your gifting game up during the summer plant and garden sale at 1-800-Flowers.com. That was it, but he just towed the party line and he was completely replaceable, completely replaceable, and you'll never hear from him again.

43:48He is gone and they will never need him again and they just bring in new parts. It's called the handlebar mustache, but it's even more than the handlebar. Handlebar, I feel like, is just when you have just the mustache, but he also had the, that doesn't matter. The point is they're all replaceable parts and if you wanna see how replaceable they are, Well, here is Elizabeth Warren, who was she was so excited about about Plattner. She's he's her type of guy. She just loved him. Well, now they have a new part in town and she just loves him, too. Oh, I'm feeling good. I'm feeling good about Troy Jackson.

44:27You'll get to talk to him in just a minute. You'll see why I'm feeling good. He's the right guy for Maine. But I'm also feeling good. I'm feeling good about Michigan. I was just there, as you know, I was just there the day before yesterday on the ground campaigning with Abdul Al-Sayed. And the energy, the people who just can finish the sentences, you know, get money out of politics, get more money into people's pockets and get health care for everyone. She really is the librarian for health. The people who can finish the sentences. Boy, you've set a high bar for Democrats. What you mean is the people who can repeat the slogans.

45:08So it doesn't matter who the people are. That's the point. It doesn't matter if it's Graham Plattner or Troy Jackson or any. It simply does not matter. Do you bow to our progressive orthodoxy? And do you think it will help attain us, get more power? It's not much more complex than that. Here's, this is quick, but here's Liz Warren just weeks ago on Graham Plattner. I said to myself, that's my kind of man. And now she's feeling good about Troy Jackson. So you might be watching this going, Dave, who is Troy Jackson? We don't know anything about Troy Jackson. Well, here he is. And boy, is this guy impressive.

45:44Yeah, there's no doubt, Graham. You know, he did a great job as far as getting people going. Very articulate, you know, better than I am at that. But, you know, what I've been doing, you know, all through this is trying to make sure that people understand that, you know, it's about the movement. It's about the issues. I mean, this is way bigger than any one person. Bigger than Graham, certainly bigger than me. Yes, you're right, Troy. It is bigger than you. So you will be a replaceable part as well. Hopefully Susan Collins will beat you. Hopefully some of the people who are so excited about the Nazis' handlebar mustache will be like, you know what, I'm just out on this.

46:25This guy's nothing. You know what Troy Jackson did, by the way, the day before they announced that he would be the replacement for Plattner? Of course, you're not gonna believe it, guys. Yes, he tweeted about Palestine. He has never once in his entire history on Twitter tweeted about Palestine, but the day before, suddenly he magically tweeted about Palestine. That is how stupid and brain-numbing the entire Democrat party has become. He was like, oh, I wanna get this gig, I wanna get this gig, what's the most important to these people, thing to these people? I'll tweet about a place that never existed.

46:59Just, and he's just got no personality or anything else, and just replaceable part, that's all you are. Here is John Fetterman, who obviously is the one sane Democrat. And here he's laying into Bernie for creating the Plattner disaster, which has really just exposed so much of what's wrong with the Democrat party. This is a serious game that we're engaging in. And these same people like Bernie Sanders and other people created the Plattner disaster. He was asked just this Sunday, he has no regrets. Yeah, I have no regrets supporting an accused rapist. I have no regrets supporting a guy with a Nazi tattoo on his chest and a guy that roughed up his ex-girlfriends.

47:44There's a level of arrogance and they believe they feel like they have some weird mandate. Now, stop this now, call it out. And that's what I'm willing to do as a committed Democrat. Yeah, again, I never know how long you'll be a committed Democrat for, but it just doesn't matter whether it's Plattner, whether it's Troy Jackson, whether it's Abdul Syed, or any of these people. As long as they tow the party line, as long as they sit down with Hassan Piker and say yes to all of his questions and do his struggle session, they will back you. None of these people are particularly talented. None of these people have done great things.

48:24None of them know how to build things. None of them seem to understand the constitution of the United States or anything else. And they're basically just wrong about everything. So this is a good one. and let's go to Chicago for a minute, which I think we checked the numbers over the weekend. It was, what was it? It was 20 shot, four killed, something like that. So what does Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson want to do? He wants to just tell people that crime is illegal. That'll help. We are putting out these signs as an indication of what the consequences will be in medical actions on the CTI. We are hoping to deter crime and to encourage people to move forward in their witnesses over crime.

49:01These signs are a message to all of our riders and employees that we are working together with the county state's attorney's office to take action and ensure and promote a safe ride on the CTF.

49:16My God, these people, these people. You know, there's a guy with a machete or with a gun about to shoot somebody and he's like, oh, oh, oh. I didn't realize this was a crime as I was about to blow this lady's head off. Thank God for that sign. Thank you, Brandon Johnson. So that's what they're doing. Again, it's suicidal empathy. You are beheading yourself because you are so kind. It's like having a no gun zone. I was about to shoot up all these kids over here, but it says no guns. So what am I, some kind of criminal? It's it, thank you, Connor. Don't make me tap the sign. Well done, well done.

49:59Now, I am very happy to say that this nonsense does not fly here in Florida. However, we do have a gubernatorial election coming up and 99 % chance it will be Byron Donalds, who's Congressman from Southwest Florida. I've had him on the show before, I like him. Also Jay Collins, who's fantastic. He's just running, he's the Lieutenant Governor. He's just running way behind. But we have two highly competent Republican candidates and we have a Democrat by the name of David Jolly. And this guy, well, here he is being interviewed, and listen to this, even in Florida, here he is. And his first priority, if he becomes governor, will be to bring wokeness back.

50:39Something I want to do on election night when we win this race and the cameras are rolling, I want to stand up and say to the world, say to the world, on behalf of the state that launched culture wars, we apologize. We apologize. We want you back. We want your kids to grow up here, your grandkids here. We want your snowbird friends to visit. that we want the conventions back, we want everybody to feel welcome. And yes, that means undoing some of the attacks on people's rights, but also their dignity. What do I mean by that? Sure, voting rights, reproductive freedom, basic civil liberties, but let teachers teach.

51:11Bring back the books. The fact that this guy's in Florida is so extraordinary. Nobody's rights have been infringed here. Yesterday afternoon, I was walking Clyde, and I was like, gay, and nothing happened to me. DeSantis didn't send his thugs. What do you do? What do you say? You said gay? Let me get you, wait. It's all nonsense. We are number, we wanna get some of those people back. The snowbirds don't even leave anymore. The snowbirds are the people that usually come from the North and they come for their winters to come down here. Now that most of them are not even leaving. You know how many snowbirds are here right now in our hot freaking summer because they don't wanna go back to the North?

51:42We're also number one in education every year. I think since in the last four years, we've been number one in tourism. Our economy is booming. Like this, and then of course, you're running for governor of Florida and you're on that podcast with that ridiculous blonde lady? Come on, man. But Florida does have some better options and I am very happy to be sharing this with you. Blazingola, he is running for re-election for chief financial officer of Florida. He is a great guy. I've done some live events with him. He gets what Florida is all about. He texted me a couple of days ago and he's like, Dave, we put together this ad and we'd be honored if you would debut it on your show.

52:23So it's about 30 seconds here. This is the Florida that I know and love and I'm gonna fight for. So take a look. Hi, my name is Blaise Ingolia, your chief financial officer. I speak four languages, English, profanity, sarcasm, and real. I'm politically incorrect. I say Merry Christmas and God bless America. I own guns. I eat meat and I really love bacon. I stand when I hear the national anthem and I thank our troops and our first responders every chance I get. And if that offends you, well, I don't care. Growing up, my mama said I could be anything I wanted. So I decided to be a problem for Democrats and some Republicans.

53:05I'm not afraid to take on the establishment or the special interests. I humbly ask for your support and your vote. So I continue to take on the radical left, both in Tallahassee and Washington, D.C. I'll never give up. I'll never back down. I'll continue to fight because Florida, she is worth fighting for. This state is unlike any other state in the nation. We'd like to keep it that way. America first, Florida always. Yeah, there you go. That's the Florida spirit. And I will obviously do everything I can to make sure that he does repeat as Florida financial chief financial officer. And I can confirm the The guy loves bacon, I was at an event with him at the, what do they call it, the villages, and we were standing next to the bacon thing and the guy was just hoarding down, he loves bacon on top of everything else, but he loves freedom even more than bacon.

53:58And these are the types of people that we need. And the idea that someone like David Jolly is coming in as a Democrat, and we're gonna bring, I mean, in essence, bring wokeness back. And just a complete lie that anyone's civil rights have been attacked or anything else. You people are all absurd, but as long as we're talking about absurd people, As you know, we showed you a video yesterday. A couple days ago, over in Berlin, Germany, they had the big queer parade, and the homos get out there with the dog people and the furry people, and everyone's running around, and it's wonderful, and there's Palestinian flags and everything else.

54:29And then, of course, they met reality, and an Islamist drove his car through the thing, killed at least one person, several others injured. So, of course, what happens? Well, here's Berlin's queer commissioner. That's a hell of a, how the hell do you get that job? Here's Berlin's queer commissioner, and he's mostly concerned about right-wing violence and right-wingers capitalizing on the fact that an Islamist tried to kill the homos. The far right here in Germany is, of course, waiting for an attack like this one to use it in order to highlight that the foreigners are the problem. But by doing so, they completely forget and avoid to look at how much queerphobia there is in this country in all various levels of structures in schools at the workplace in churches on the streets uh in sports and in so many other places yes they might not come out onto the streets with a van and kill us in us in a in a big huge group like possibly this attack could have done but at the same time we do have a huge problem of homophobia and queerphobia here in this country fueled by rhetoric by democratic parties.

55:40I'm sorry, you have to rewind that. Of course, we have all these problems. They're mean to us and they don't let us... Of course, they don't kill us in mass numbers like this guy. Could you... What? The far right here in Germany is, of course, waiting for... In sports and in so many other places. Yes, they might not come out onto the streets with a van and kill us in a big, huge group like possibly this attack could have done. I have to go off the grid. Like we're right there, man. We are right there. What's his name? Alfonso Pantesano. Alfonso, might I offer you some advice here, which is that deal with those mean Germans who just aren't so nice to you, which isn't even true, right?

56:24Like Germany has a thriving gay community, except when an Islamist is driving a car through it. But that is the best, I'm sending that to Gad in a second, like that is the best example of suicidal empathy. Sure, you know, an Islamist just drove through the parade and killed some of us, and we're protesting for a place, Palestine, which doesn't even exist, where they, in Gaza, where they throw gays off buildings. Fortunately, there's less tall buildings, so maybe you'd twist an ankle or hurt your hip, which can be, you know, a broken hip, and I don't wanna be dismissive of that, you know. But, you know, the real thing, yeah, they're killing us, but the real thing is someone was mean to me over there.

57:02It can't be. We're in some sort of bizarro land right now. This can't be real life. Is this real life? All right. Well, speaking of this can't be real life, we'll tell you about the Democrat National Committee's finances in just a second, but first, Rumble Wallet. Guys, this is a paid ad from Rumble Wallet. I'm not kidding, that honestly might be my favorite clip of the year, right there, that guy. Like, we're gonna have to do something with that clip for the future. Like, they're so mean. Well, sure, they don't kill all of us like this guy, but... Over at the DNC, they're having huge problems right now because it turns out socialists aren't great with money.

58:13Listen to this from The Hill. According to the New York Times, the DNC is$2 million in debt while President Trump controls a$400 million super PAC. And the RNC committee, or the RNC, has nearly 130 million cash on hand. The financial concerns don't stop there. Notice has a new report out that notes that the DNC even used its Washington headquarters as collateral to secure a$15 million line of credit last year, a move that, while not unprecedented, has fueled concerns because it comes well before a presidential election cycle. Party officials have also reportedly discussed delaying vendor payments until after the midterms to ease immediate financial pressure.

58:51That's not it. In the Times report, Martin reportedly threw his cell phone toward a junior aide's desk during a confrontation that resulted in an HR complaint. The Times also described the chairman as increasingly isolated, frustrated by leaks, and struggling to maintain confidence among donors and party insiders. This all comes after criticism over Martin's handling of the long-promised 2024 election autopsy and growing frustration from donors who remain reluctant to invest in the party. Yeah. Does this surprise anybody? A party that is being taken over by socialists is not particularly good with money.

59:24A party that's ideas are completely out of the mainstream that is just catering to a crazy band of far left lunatics doesn't know what to do with its autopsy or anything else. This is all freaking obvious. It's so obvious how bad it is at the DNC that David Hogg, who is that little progressive, wafy kid who, you know, he just wants to take guns from everybody. And he, oh, and he also remember about two years ago, he started a pillow company against Mike Lindell. and he was like, and I'm gonna pay everyone a fair wage and we're gonna do it right because Mike Lindell's a bad guy. And of course his pillow company failed before it even got off the ground.

59:59Well, here he is on the televised mental institution known as MS now. And he's not even surprised about how bad the DNC funding problem is. David, you were a part of the DNC until June of last year when committee members voted to hold new elections for your post and a fellow vice chair. And this came after you told the New York Times that you plan to spend millions to bring generational change to the party. Knowing what you know now about the committee, what you've seen from Ken Martin, are you surprised at all by these reports? No, unfortunately, I am disappointed to see them, but I'm far from surprised.

1:00:36I saw the writing on the wall early on. It's now been 18 months. They had to put the building up as collateral, and they're$2 million in debt. And then you juxtapose that with the progressive movement and what's going on out there. It's incredibly sad to see the DNC and the committee at this point, and it could not be more clear that he's unfit to leave. We need somebody who can actually raise money. Well, it's not sad. It's obvious, but the fact that he's even saying it. But again, the fact that they turn, that MS now turns to, oh, we're having a huge problem in the DNC, who should we have on to talk about it?

1:01:05And the answer is we should have this kid, again, who's done nothing. He started a failed pillow company, and he was a TV star for a year trying to infringe on the Second Amendment. Why is it that Republicans tend to bring in people who are roughly qualified to do things and Democrats bring in completely interchangeable people who all just think the same thing? I think you know the answer to that question. Here's a Massachusetts Congressman Seth Moulton, Democrat, talking about how the Democrat committee is in shambles and Ken Martin, who is the head of the thing, that's who Martin that we were referencing, has been hiding the mess for quite some time.

1:01:43Do you think the Democratic National Committee is a mess? Yes, I do. And months ago, I called on Ken Martin to resign. The bottom line is that the leadership of the Democratic Party right now is a mess. And this is not the first time they've tried to hide this mess. Remember, they said, Ken Martin said that they would release an autopsy report on what went wrong in 2024 so that we could turn it around and start winning in 2026. and then he covered that up. So we're covering up all kinds of mess. Just another one of these ineffectual guys. Yeah, you're all part of it, but forget about the money.

1:02:21You guys would be raking in the dough. You guys have more billionaires on your side, believe it or not, than the scary Republicans. What were the numbers? Kamala had, what was it, 60 billionaires and Trump had 20, something like, it's roughly something like that. 83 to 56. 83 to 56. Man, what I have done to lock things in your brain is incredible. So it's like you guys would be flush with cash if people felt that you were gonna do something positive for the country with it. But suddenly people are realizing, boy, giving Democrats money while they try to burn down all of our institutions and turn us into a commie crap hole, probably not a great idea, but it gets even worse.

1:02:57You could go to Chicago where we just showed you, what are they doing? Well, they have a massive crime problem. So put up a sign. Tell people, maybe people don't realize you're not supposed to murder people. Could you just put up a sign? And what are they gonna try to do in New York City? Well, this guy, Charles Blow, and it's a perfect last name for the suck job he just did on MomDami in this interview. Here he is and they're talking about reparations. Watch this. If a commission studying reparations in this city recommended cash reparations for people impacted in New York City, would you support that recommendation?

1:03:32First, I wanna say that I stand by what I submitted. It's the truth. It's not a personal assessment. And we often think about slavery and the complicity in slavery as being exclusively to certain geographic areas of the country. Here in New York City, we were very complicit. And so I look forward to whatever those findings are. I can't give you an answer in advance of them. But I can tell you that this is critically important because this is also what it looks like to acknowledge what history truly was. How about you will get nothing and like it? You know, my family, at times I've told you guys this, starting in the early 1900s, we had hundreds of family members that came with nothing from Ellis Island and lived all over the boroughs.

1:04:17I have literally one cousin left in New York and she don't talk to me because she don't like my politics. What are you gonna do? Nobody in my family owned slaves on either side and we have long records. But even if someone did, no one's guilty of their ancestors' sins. So if you want to pay people, Mamdami, give them some of your money. By the way, you're from Uganda, you're a Ugandan citizen. And of course, Uganda had quite a extensive trans-Saharan slave trade, but that's besides the point. But for all of you that are for, so you want people, no one in America right now owns slaves. No one's living in America owned slaves.

1:04:54And no one that's living in America right now was a slave. So if you want to give money to someone whose ancestors were slaves, then go ahead and do it. But again, it's because they want to destroy and rip apart every fabric that ties us together is what he is trying to burn down. So again, good luck in New York. If you don't realize what time it is yet, you will eventually, and it will probably be too late. You're gonna look at your watch and go, man, I should have left five minutes ago because he is destroying everything that is good about that city. And as if they haven't taken enough from the people who produced, Now he also wants to look into reparations.

1:05:33What are you talking about? What are you talking about? You're gonna take, I can't with this guy. Now, counter to Mamdami is Benjamin Netanyahu. Benjamin Netanyahu, a man who, whether you love him or hate him or anything else, I think one thing that you can probably objectively say about him is he's fighting for his people. We live in a world where most of these leaders, do you think any of the leaders of the UK, these prime ministers, that it's been this rotating cast of prime ministers like six and eight years, Do you think they're fighting for the people of the UK? Do you think the leaders of France or the rest of Europe are fighting for their people?

1:06:07Netanyahu, you personally may not like some of the things he's done, but he's obviously fighting for his people. And one of the things he's doing is he's going to come as he does every year to the UN General Assembly, which is that UN building, it's the Legion of Doom. It's like, it's just the most evil, awful globalist garbage over there, obsessively focusing on Israel instead of doing anything else ever, 90 % of their rulings are against Israel, blah, blah, blah, you know all that stuff. Well, of course, Mamdami wanted to arrest him. And I actually do think the feds should look into whether the New York City mayor was illegally trying to get his police department to arrest somebody who had broken no American law, but we'll see about that.

1:06:48But Netanyahu is showing up, he will not be arrested. And of course, Mamdami also really wants people to be out there protesting and causing violence so that the police will have to stop it. And then he can say, see, the evil police, he'll say his own evil police, we're stopping you because of the crazy Zionists. Here's Netanyahu on his intentions to come to New York. Will never happen. First of all, I'm going to New York. Yeah. I'd love to see you there when I go to the UN in September. You know, I moved to Florida. You know, you can take a plane. I'll come up, yes. You've come to Washington, so you can go there, but I'm definitely going there.

1:07:24I'm going to speak the truth in front of this. You know, there's just hate spewing elected official who's pitting one group of New Yorkers against the others. He's turning them against New York Jews. I mean, what are we in the 1930s? What is this? You know, so much hate, so many lies. And you know, the big lie is about the ICC, the International Criminal So-Called. That's a corrupt, evil organization. It had a prosecutor who issued arrest warrants against me and our former defense minister as war criminals supposedly for starvation, starving the people of Gaza. We gave a million tons of food. Name one other army in the history of the world that while their own people were being hidden in someone else's territory, were feeding the people that had beheaded and raped their women.

1:08:22Nobody, but I don't feel like getting into a whole thing on that right now, other than to say, this guy, again, you can like him or not like him or anything else, but he's fighting for his people, and he really is a brave MF-er. You know, I remember about, what was it, about a year and a half ago, I got invited to DC, and I went to this private talk with Netanyahu, and it was me and about 12 other online people, and he sat down, and he said, you guys can ask me absolutely anything, and he sat there for about three hours. I was unbelievably impressed with his breadth of knowledge and everything else, but when they, I had a few questions that I wanted to ask him, and I was sitting right across from him at the table, and he said, go ahead.

1:09:04And I changed my question literally on the fly because outside what we could hear the entire time were screaming and chants, and there were firecrackers and all this stuff because he was in DC. And even to get to the building where we had to get to. You had to go through multiple layers of security and fences and all these things, crazy. So I said to him, and it was very obvious to me in the two hours that I had been listening to him how distracting it was that there was all this noise and they were setting off alarms and all this stuff. I said to him, does that ever bother you? And he looks at me and he goes, what?

1:09:39And I said, that. And he goes, what are you talking about? That. And then he didn't even hear it because he goes, oh, that, I don't even think about that because I have to deal with that everywhere I go. That guy is way braver and just a much better human being than evil Zorhan Mamdami. But let's put that there for a moment. The other thing that happened yesterday was Lindsey Graham's funeral. And I wanna cover just a bit about it without overly politicizing it, but here's Lindsey's casket being carried.

1:10:17And basically every dignitary, everyone important in the government was there and everything else. Sean Hannity gave what I thought was a really beautiful eulogy. I want to play just a portion of it here. And I was on Sean's podcast a couple of days ago, which I assume will be up in August. He really, really is a good human being. And I thought what he said here about Lindsay was quite interesting. Lindsay, he was often unfairly characterized as a warmonger. I've heard that false criticism a lot. It's not true. The truth was the opposite. Lindsay desperately wanted and talked to the president about a lasting peace in the Middle East.

1:10:58He wanted every region, every country in the region on that path to peace. That was Lindsay's dream. If people would only listen to what he had been saying. It's so interesting, this idea that, you know, if you're against war, that somehow you are better. And it's like, I do this all the time. It's like, this is this libertarian thing. Like I'm against war. That means nobody will ever have war. And it's the silliest idea. I'm not defending every decision Lindsey Graham ever made or every decision the United States ever made or anything else. But that Lindsey Graham, he was just a warmonger more than anything else.

1:11:34Sean's completely right. It's just absurd. Maybe he made some choices that were right. Maybe he didn't, but that his goal, like what do you think his goal? His goal was just to blow things up for the sake of blowing things up. This is by the way, a guy who, What were the numbers? Can we check on this? When they looked at his net worth now, at the end of his life, he was worth, I think, $1.4 million, if I'm not mistaken. Think about all of the people in the Senate and Congress who end up being worth hundreds of millions of dollars out of nowhere. So this is a guy who had a decades-long career in politics, was as close to the war machine and everything else as possible, and somehow he didn't personally profit off it.

1:12:10Isn't that a little bizarre? So I thought we'd end the show today with a bit of Trump's speech, a eulogy, at the Lindsey Graham funeral. Where he was respected and loved, the son of South Carolina became one of the most important men in the most important country on earth. In a city where politicians often become jaded and cynical, Lindsey Graham never lost the old-fashioned American idealism that brought him to the highest levels of government and life. He took his duty seriously without taking himself too seriously. He was unwavering in his principles, but always willing to listen. Our nation needs more men and women like that great person sitting, laying wherever he may be.

1:13:04I think I know where he is, and I think he's up there. I think he's watching us. I'm pretty sure. Yeah, and that's Trump at his best. You know, it's Trump doing Trump. and again, whether you like Lindsey Graham or not, what has really come out in the last week and a half or so since his death is that he did talk to everybody on both sides. He had a certain set of beliefs. He knew how to play the political game. People didn't hate him privately. Like you're not hearing all these stories about all that he was so duplicitous behind the scenes. Like he was actually what a politician is supposed to be regardless of whether you agreed with everything or not.

1:13:37He loved the country. He was trying to do, let's say roughly the right thing and perhaps the Democrats might wanna take a cue there. When Trump says we need more people like Lindsey Graham, he doesn't mean we need more people who believe exactly what Lindsey Graham believed. What he means there is we need more people who kinda love the country and will fight honestly for what they believe in and will go across the aisle as he said and we don't have many of those. Ladles and jelly spoons, I only have one more live show before I go off the grid and then as I said, we are taping something this afternoon.

1:14:10I was about to give a hint. I will not give a hint. But our Friday, our Friday 11 a.m. show, I'm telling you, we're doing something totally different that I'm very excited about. And then we have great content for you throughout August. We've taped a whole bunch of fresh interviews. We have throwback clips. We have reaction stuff. Post game show 30 seconds, rubenreport.locals.com. Thanks. CNN breaking news. We have major breaking news, indeed, historic breaking news right now.
