In short
Dave Rubin reacts to political and cultural controversies, focusing on (1) Ro Khanna’s criticism of Elon Musk over USAID cuts, (2) protests and alleged vandalism at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool after Trump cleaned it, (3) the Austin Metcalf murder case involving Carmelo Anthony, (4) New York sanctuary-city policy amid an alleged rape case, and (5) U.S. diplomacy with Iran (Marco Rubio’s Gulf trip).
Guest backgrounds
No podcast guests appear in the transcript excerpt. Rubin references commentators and public figures: security expert Mike Benz; Katie Miller (Stephen Miller’s wife); “Dogecoin Designer” (social media account); Fox News/Sean Hannity; Bill Maher; David Friedberg; Fox’s Tom Homan; Colonel Mike Jernigan; and TV hosts (The View, Gutfeld).
Key claims
Khanna’s “4.5 million children” claim is called absurd; Musk’s USAID fraud-cutting is defended as preventing waste. Reflecting Pool “algae” protests are framed as deranged and linked to left-wing politics. Carmelo Anthony is portrayed as calm and guilty, with race-politicization criticized. Sanctuary policies are accused of releasing violent offenders. Rubio’s trip is framed as tightening Iran-related regional deterrence.
Notable examples
“baby pandas/human baby” analogy; Ro Khanna’s reported trading/home purchases; alleged vandalism arrests (17 police reports, six arrests); body-cam calm during Carmelo’s arrest; alleged rape suspect Orilano Antonio Melendez Reyes and ICE detainer; Rubio traveling to UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain to address Iran memorandum and Strait of Hormuz transit.

Automatic transcript. May contain errors.0:00Previously on The Rubin. I can't emote too much. Being the best dad I can. Dude, stop crying. You were just nothing. Who built that thing and was like, you know what, no windows. I'm just so grateful for this inspiration and the intercept. Thank you for just blowing me off on national TV.
0:42All right, what's up guys? I'm Dave Rubin. This is The Rubin Report. It is June 23rd, 2026. And yes, we are gonna try this today. I am out of the sling, at least for the purposes of sitting here. I'm supposed to be in it 24 hours a day, but I'm just gonna balance my arm on the desk and see what happens. It was getting a little wonky and pulling on my mic and a few people, people don't like to see me injured. That's what I noticed in the comment section. Dave, it's hard to see you banged up. So this will at least give the illusion that I'm okay, but it is quite stiff and painful. However, and then I'll move on.
1:18I did go to the doctor yesterday for my first checkup and he said, I am healing ahead of schedule and I am getting the stem cells on July 1st. So we shall see what happens. All right, we got a lot to get to today. A lot of things happen in the world. We'll start with a little drama between Elon Musk, you might've heard about this guy sending rockets all over the place, and Ro Khanna, who as you know, I've interviewed a few times, who I think a year or two ago was really trying to angle himself as a moderate Dem in the face of some of the leftist craziness, but really has gone all in, unfortunately, on that leftist craziness, so they got into it.
1:50Then there's all this, speaking of craziness, all this craziness around the DC reflecting pool. Trump cleaned it up and people are very upset about the algae, it's so insane. We got a little bit from The View, a little bit from New York City and Iran, and we will end with some positivity as we are rolling into America's 250. So let's start with this Ro Khanna, Elon Musk brouhaha. Now, as you know, about a week ago, it was a little more than that at this point, because of what happened with SpaceX going public, Elon Musk became the world's first trillionaire. I, for one, think that that's awesome.
2:28I have never, you know, I know a lot of people have this innate jealousy thing. Like someone makes money, someone sells something, someone becomes a millionaire or becomes a billionaire and people feel jealous over it. And I just don't have that like bone in my body. I really don't. Like I'm like, oh, there's someone successful. Like what could I learn from them? Or how cool is that? Or I'd like to emulate that. Or maybe that could be me one day. You know, when I had Joe Lonsdale in here, who's the co-founder of Palantir with Teal, I mentioned to him that when I went to his house in Austin, he has an indoor basketball court.
3:02And I think it's the freaking most awesome thing ever. But I didn't walk into the basketball court and be like jealous of him. I was like, I want that. And that's what I told him. And he's like, well, work hard and you're gonna get it. And that is my plan, shoulder be damned. Well, anyway, as you know, in the progressive movement, which has now taken over the Democrat, the entire Democrat machine, everything is based on jealousy and envy. If someone else has something, they somehow have tricked young people into thinking that being envious of it, and not only being envious of it, being envious of it and taking it from them and demonizing them while you do it is somehow, that is somehow lofty.
3:41That is somehow actually a moral position to take. So as Elon became a trillionaire, all of them, Bernie and Elizabeth Warren, tax him, And if we took his money, we could do this and we could do that and everything else. So here's Ro Khanna. He went on this podcast by this Jennifer Welch chick. And here's Ro explaining that Elon also, because of USAID, probably killed 4.5 million children. What? And I do believe that once we take power, there has to be accountability. There needs to be accountability for Elon Musk. You know, they're celebrating that he created 4 ,400 millionaires, but they don't talk about the 4.5 million children around the world who he possibly sentenced to death by dismantling USA.
4:25He needs to answer for that. He needs to be subpoenaed. He needs to face investigation. He needs to answer for what he did with Doge. It's not just, let's move on. Roe is so profoundly ridiculous. I don't even know where to begin. So I will begin with Elon Musk who saw that video and wrote, speaking of wrote Kana, he wrote three things. He's such an evil liar, time to sue this evil liar, or time to sue this liar, and robber Kana should be in prison. He wants Elon Musk to be held accountable for USAID, where Elon on his own dime brought in a team of people who decided to look into fraud in the government and cut billions of dollars worth of fraud.
5:15And it, by the way, it was barely a drop in the bucket because now we know everything out of Minnesota and California, Los Angeles specifically, and so much more. And there was some report that said 4.5 million kids will die because of a cut that he made to USAID. And of course that hasn't happened. And to the backdrop, to the backdrop of Brian Thompson, the United Healthcare CEO, being murdered in cold blood in Times Square because Luigi Mangione didn't like his decisions, whether they were proper decisions or they were good for the patient or not, whether he was maximizing the process or not, you just can't assassinate somebody.
5:55So to the backdrop of that, Ro, do you realize how dangerous it is what you are doing, saying in effect that Elon Musk killed 4.5 million kids, which of course is absurd, and also that you so flippantly blow off that actually Elon did create 4 ,500 new millionaires, including I think one of the guys was a janitor who worked for Elon 20 years ago who got some compensation in stock and is now a millionaire. Like we should be celebrating all of those people. It'd actually be a great idea. Someone should do it, if not us, I got things to do. Like interview 4 ,500 people that just became millionaires because of this, or all of the other people that made money on this, or all the people that are speculating that SpaceX is gonna do incredible things.
6:38Like he creates things and all you people wanna do is destroy things. But what this really is about, of course, is that when you shine light on the grift and what the government, and particularly the Democrat Party is, is just an endless grift of take, take, take, never figure out if this money is functional or if it's actually doing anything, but always take more, always demonize those people. When you shine a light on that, they get pretty freaking pissed because that is their whole operation. Here's Elon explaining that. Like the president, and very hard to cut things that are obvious waste and fraud, like ridiculous waste and fraud.
7:21What I discovered that is it's extremely difficult even to cut very obvious waste and fraud from the government. Because the government has to operate on who's complaining. If you cut off payments to fraudsters, they immediately come up with the most sympathetic-sounding reasons to continue the payment. They don't say, please keep the fraud going. They say, you know, they're like, you're killing baby pandas. And we're like, meanwhile, there's no baby pandas are dying. They're just making it up. The forces are capable of coming up with extremely compelling, sort of heart-wrenching stories that are false, but nonetheless sound sympathetic.
8:04And that's what happened. Do you see what he did right there? That's from like a year ago, or maybe even more than a year ago, when he was going in with Doge and figuring out what was going on there. And he makes the point, when you cut off the funding to these people, they never say, oh boy, yes, we were money laundering, and or we didn't, oh, we don't know where all that money went, or maybe we looked the other way, or we're part of the problem. What they'll always say is, my God, you're going to kill. In this case, he says, you're gonna kill the baby pandas. What you've got with Rokana is him saying, you're going to kill the human baby.
8:35So he called it out a year and a half ago, what they would do if he started doing these Doge things. But of course, at this point, it's not really about Doge. They're just upset that he is making money. And by the way, when he has a trillion dollars, as I keep saying, and I just watched the first episode actually of DuckTales with the kids the other day from the Disney afternoon. And in the first episode, you see Scrooge McDuck off the diving board, dive into the cash and he's swimming in it and he's singing and it's great. And that's not what Elon Musk is doing. He doesn't just have a big building filled with gold coins.
9:09A lot of these monies are based on valuations. They're paper in essence. And people are investing in things that he does with the trust that eventually they will become profitable, that some of them will be sold and everything else. So when you guys wanna just tax these people based on these numbers, it's not as if he has that kind of liquid cash. Well, we'll leave that there for a second. Mike Benz, who's a security expert. I think we've had him on, did we ever have him on the show? I've met him a million times. He's never been on the show, we gotta make that happen. He wrote this in response to this row nonsense around USAID.
9:39He said, USAID funded the maiden revolution in Ukraine in 2014 that directly led to the 2014, 2022 Donbass war with 15 ,000 killed and the subsequent 2022 Russia-Ukraine war with 300 ,000 killed. So did USAID supporters murder 315 ,000 people? And Elon saw that and said, well, by their logic, Yes, but of course it started getting worse for Roe because as I said, a year or two ago when I interviewed him a few times, we disagreed on a bunch of stuff. He was for affirmative action. He was definitely in on all this DEI stuff. I was telling him how the, you know, that this Hamas caucus is real and now he's completely in bed with Ilhan and Rashida and all of these guys and all that stuff.
10:26But okay, but I did appreciate, and I still do, even though I'm giving him a little guff, I still do appreciate someone's ability to sit down with someone they disagree with. I think what's sad about what's happened to him is he really was, it was obvious to me what he was doing. He was trying to frame himself as a centrist, damn, I'm not a lunatic. And there's just no room for that on the Democrat side anymore. So now he's just going in with all the lunatics. Well, anyway, when you get into a fight with Elon, people start looking and then they start looking into your stuff too. Ow, when you do all that.
10:56Am I on painkillers today? I should be on something. Here's Katie Miller from the Katie Miller podcast. She's also Stephen Miller from the administration. You know Stephen Miller, she's Stephen Miller's wife. She wrote this, Roe is the number one stock trader in Congress. Last year he reported 4 ,300 trades with$59 million in total trade volume. He also recently purchased a$9.5 million home in the DC area, to which Elon saw that and he wrote Roe the Robber. Now, what's interesting about this, he just did buy a$9.5 million home in DC. Why, if you're a Silicon Valley guy, would you be buying a$10 million home in DC unless you were planning to spend a lot more time in DC, which is very obvious what his long-term plans are.
11:45Of course, it gets a little worse when it comes to Roe and his finances. He just wants Elon's money, but he's got some cash that he should be spreading around. Listen to this from Doge Designer. Breaking, Elon Musk calls out Ro Khanna as his household wealth reportedly grew from roughly 27 to 46 million to an estimated 232.7 million. 631 million total trade volume across 38 ,666 trades since entering Congress, most prolific Democratic trader in House history. 2022 investigation found 15 % overlap between his legislative work and family stock holdings. Isn't that interesting? Ro Khanna's AI-focused trades returned 112 % excess over the S &P 500 from January 24 through April 26, far beating Nancy Pelosi, Paltry Pelosi's 38.5 overperformance.
12:38143 % return on NVIDIA shares bought via Wife's Trust in February of 24, right before CHIPS Act helped double the stock. Ro the Ra Ro Khanna seems to be the most active insider trader in Congress. and it is worth mentioning. Again, Rowe is worth$232 million. He says most of that's in a family blind trust and he can't touch it and I don't know all the specifics around that. But let's just say even everything you say around that is true, Rowe. He's not debating whether he's worth 232 mil. So Rowe, we'll get to more on this in a second, but why are you looking at Elon to fix all the problems? 232 mil, I mean, you could probably give up 32 mil right now.
13:18You'd be okay with 200. Conor, can you make it on 200 mil? Conor would be okay on 200 mil. Roe was also on Real Time with Bill Maher on Monday night, and here he is once again. If you give him more of Elon's money, he can do so many things. No, no, Ron, we could have free public colleges. What about canceling student loan debt? Because a lot of people say, and I would agree with this, it sort of helps the better off people. I mean the person who doesn't go to college is now going to subsidize the person who's going to make a lot more money Because they did go to college. It doesn't seem actually like a progressive thing to do.
13:54I took out a lot of student loans I've done well They shouldn't forgive student loans for people like me But if you're working class you're first in your family to go to college You have all this debt and then you're paying off your debt until you're 50 or 60 and can't get a house We can pay off that debt and you know how we pay for it tax Elon Musk tax the billionaires You're not taxing the B-caller guy. I love the idiots in the audience. And Bill is quite good at like scolding his audience when appropriate, that would have been a nice time to do it. Yes, just tell, well, I just wanna do something.
14:24So take money from that guy. It's the most dim-witted class warfare nonsense you can possibly imagine. Bill also points out, yeah, you're screwing, in essence, you're screwing everybody if you wipe out college debt. You're saying to all of the people who paid off their debt, like you're suckers. I remember about 10 years ago when we finally had a little bit of money, we paid off David's college debt and we were thrilled to do it. Like this albatross was off our back, mostly his back. He felt he just had this number that was always sitting there. We paid it off. I was like, well, why did we pay it off?
14:55The government was just gonna wipe it away. He doesn't come from a lot of money, but if that's what the government's gonna do, and Bill points out, if you don't go to college, then in essence, you're still paying taxes. Now you're subsidizing the rich kid who went to Stanford and he's getting his debt wiped away. But all of that in some ways is irrelevant because it just gets to the heart of the matter, which is they never have enough of someone else's money. David Friedberg, who's on the All In Podcast with Sachs and Chamath and those guys, he made an interesting point about this as it pertains to Roe, and I believe he lives, if I'm not mistaken, he lives in Silicon Valley, right?
15:29So he is one of Roe's constituents. He wrote this, I would like to see you make a voluntary contribution of 5 % of your family's$200 million net worth to the government for important healthcare, childcare, and jobs. Don't worry, it's just one time. Your$10 million contribution will provide free childcare to over 1 ,000 California kids for a year. Once you've made your personal contribution to a more just and equitable society, I'll support all your other asset seizure ideas, but you gotta go first. Yeah, that's the point. If what you are doing is so lofty, Ro Khanna, then do it yourself. Bernie, give up one of your houses to illegal immigrants, right?
16:15None of you do anything voluntarily. And we know, can you get the numbers on this? Maybe we'll read it after the break. But that conservatives also give way more to charity. Religious people give way more to charity. Liberals and progressives give next to nothing because they want everything done. They're so good that they just want the government to stick a gun next to someone else's head so they can decide what to do with that person's money. So I'm thoroughly, as you can tell, I'm thoroughly enjoying this fight because it is exposing the fraudulent nature of these people. Like, you want to do something good, Ro?
16:49You've got$230 million. Do something. I think you'll be okay with$200. I'm going to guess he likes foie gras, probably likes a nice filet mignon, maybe enjoys a little caviar. but you can still afford all that with$200 million, I'm pretty sure. Do we have some numbers on that? Yeah, real quick. Conservatives donate 30 % more. So conservatives donate 30 % more. Why is that? Why is that? Conservatives actually, conservatives, they're cold, they only care about money. And actually at the end of the day, when it comes to donating, putting your money where your mouth is, I will support this church, this synagogue, this local community center, whatever it might be.
17:29It's conservatives who voluntarily do it while Democrats scream you're evil and racist if you don't do what we want you to do. Let's talk about Angel Studios for a moment, and then we will move on to the D.C. reflecting pool, which somehow has become a flashpoint. In a world where everything seems to cost more and deliver less, Angel's doing something pretty special for America's 250th birthday. Right now, you can become a premium Angel Guild member for just$15 a month, normally 20 bucks, and with that price locked in for an entire year. Here's what you get. Two free tickets to see Young Washington in theaters on Independence Day, access to Angel's entire streaming library, and tickets to every future Angel theatrical release.
18:12So if you're planning to see Young Washington anyway, you've already come out ahead. And I think Young Washington's exactly the kind of movie worth supporting. It's the story of George Washington before he became president. It's about a young man facing failure, uncertainty, and enormous challenges before becoming one of the most important figures in American history. What's refreshing, of course, is that in this film, it's not interested in apologizing for America's existence. It's interested in understanding the people and ideas that helped build it. And beyond Young Washington, you'll get access to Angel's entire streaming library, including films like Homestead, Green and Gold, The Last Rodeo, Something to Stand For with Mike Rowe, and an upcoming theatrical slate that's incredibly impressive.
18:50If you're looking for a meaningful way to celebrate America's 250th, this is a great place to start. Go to angel.com slash Ruben and become a premium Angel Guild member today. All right, so we'll get to some more of the serious stuff as it relates to Iran and all that at the second half of the show, but there's this fight brewing over the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. And any of you who have been to DC have seen this thing. There's this massive, rather shallow pool that over the years became extremely dirty and dingy. We were there and walked past it, and it looked kind of gross, and Trump decided to clean it up.
19:24What it most famously is known for, Connor, can we get the picture of Forrest Gump walking through the reflecting pool as Jenny is giving the speech about the Vietnam War. That's what, if you're just not a real DC person, if you're just a movie person, 1992, Forrest Gump movie of the year. Yeah, there you go. Okay, and then they run in the reflecting pool and everyone's so happy that they see each other. She dies of AIDS. Well, long story short, what are you gonna do? It was a crazy time, the early 80s. Anyway, they cleaned up the reflecting pool and now somehow the Democrats don't like that because as you know, one of the main symptoms, perhaps the all-encompassing symptom of Trump derangement syndrome, is that if Trump does something, you automatically have to take the reverse position.
20:09So Caroline Leavitt, White House spokeswoman, who as you know, gave birth, so she was out for a little bit. She went on Hannity last night and explained that several Democrats have now been arrested for vandalizing the now cleaned up pool. What? Caroline, any more details on the five people that have been arrested regarding vandalism here? THE VANDALISM IS VERY REAL. DESPITE WHAT TIM WALZ WANTS TO SAY, IT'S AN IMAGINARY PROBLEM. NO, IT IS NOT. IT'S A VERY REAL PROBLEM. IN FACT, I SPOKE WITH THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE JUST BEFORE JOINING THE SHOW. THEY NOW HAVE 17 POLICE REPORTS THAT HAVE BEEN FILED IN JUST A MATTER OF A FEW DAYS.
20:46THERE'S ACTUALLY BEEN SIX ARRESTS AT THE REFLECTING POOL WHERE, AGAIN, THESE DERANGED INDIVIDUALS, MANY OF THEM LONGTIME DONORS TO THE DEMOCRAT PARTY, TO BARACK OBAMA, TO ACT blue that have been vandalizing and desecrating our federal monument, one of the most beautiful monuments in the world, the reflecting pool. Think how absolutely insane. First off, can you throw me a picture of that kid? It's like, dude, first off, wear pants that fit. I know the young kids now, they're on the big pants thing. Just throw on some pants that fit, but do something with your life. You woke up in the morning, we're like, I will desecrate the pool.
21:22Like, go get a job. Do something. So much of this has to do with these people. They are so adrift. All these idiot protesters and boycott this and burn this down and stop. Go do something. Have you thought of doing something? Anything. Do something valuable. I will desecrate the pool because there's not enough algae in it or something. They're all so confused. Here's some videos of the pro-algae, because they cleaned up some of the algae, the pro-algae protesters at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. and well I'll hold on the jokes for now just watch
22:251.1 million dollars for y 'all to watch puns come. You know, I can't really speak to the mind of a lesbian. They say it's like an M.C. Escher painting, you know, and I like individual lesbians. Jillian Michaels is a good friend of mine, Actual Friends podcast, you should tune in if you haven't watched it. I enjoy the random lesbian here and there, but those women, I'm pretty sure, if they just got banged one time, they would not be out there celebrating allergy. There is some connection there. I just don't know what it is. You know what I mean? I don't know what has happened. These are like psychotic gender queer terrorists with their terrorist flag cheering on algae.
23:08Here's Caroline Levin. Well, the baby is certainly much more enjoyable to talk about, Sean, but the algae is obviously the news of the day and it is completely ridiculous. It's unbelievable to see these people, these deranged leftists in algae costumes with team algae on their backs. What does that even mean? Only the Democrats could hate beautifying our nation's capital and making it a symbol of pride. Kristen Stewart's a lesbian? I asked him to Google hot lesbians because I don't want to, that came off, I guess a little anti-lesbian. It's that very specific type of lesbian. But I don't know, Kristen Stewart from Spider-Man?
23:47Is that Kristen Stewart? That's Kirsten Dunst. Oh, that's Kirsten Dunst. Who's Kristen Stewart? The Twilight emo girl. The Twilight girl's a lesbian? Yeah. Boy, you think you know somebody from a movie you never saw. I'll be damned. Anyway, here's Gutfeld. Get me a list of other just generally like hot, cool lesbians. They're out there. I knew my friend Jess from West Hollywood and you knew her and with the dreadlocks. And anyway, here's Gutfeld on the algae situation and how perfect this is. It really is the perfect analogy of the left. I think, you know, algae is the perfect analogy of left wing politics.
24:22You can't you can get rid of it and make things beautiful, but it's going to grow back. And so you kind of have to constantly battle it because it lives off the things that you make. If there was no reflecting pool, there would have been no algae. If there was no lawn, there would have been no 8647. If there was no wealth and prosperity, there would be no socialism. So you see how they all have to depend on people making and creating things in order for it to survive. It must be weird to hate nice things because people you hate like the nice things. If Trump said, I love food, would these idiots starve themselves to death?
24:59Right, right. That's the point. That's the point I'm making. They've decided that their worldview is just in opposition to whatever Trump is for. But I like the algae analogy there. It's like it can only grow because other people have created things. They created the pool in the first place. Now you guys aren't happy with it. And that's everything. It's the same thing as taking money from all of the people who are creating things. This endless hatred, the algae story and the Elon story, actually I didn't even put it together in our run through this morning, but they really are connected in a weird way.
25:27There's a certain set of people that create things and try to beautify things and make us think differently and do different things and build, that's what it is about, build, right? Trump saw a really ugly, dilapidated, old algae-filled pool and he cleaned it up there, pissed about that. Elon is looking at the world as it is and going, boy, we could be on this incredible horizon of AI and robotics and maybe if we can't fix it all on Earth, we're gonna still have to go to other planets and do things, so let's get on that. And they hate him for that. Do we have pictures of just other lesbians? Because I know there's lesbians that watch the show and I don't want them to think, give me a hot lesbian.

26:01Do we have a hot lesbian maybe? Do we have a hot lesbian? The computers are all going down. What are you people Googling over there? It was too hot. It was too hot. You know what? We're going to throw to Tax Network. Jodie Foster? She's a great lesbian. I would say 50-50 on. Yeah, she's kind of hot, I guess. Did you see her in the, what was the, that show she was on on HBO? She was on the show on HBO, True Crime, or yeah, True Detective. And she hasn't had any work done, and she was in Elysium. She was great. Well, she's Jodie Foster. She was in contact. All right, I think we have some lesbians here.
26:37Yeah, all right. So there's, that is, that is, who is that? Cara Delevingne. That's Cara Delevingne. And she is a lesbian. So that's the point. But Cara Delevingne, that's not the type of lesbian you're getting out at the reflecting pool. Now take a screenshot of the, ah, Jesus. Oh, that's messed up, guys. That snaggletooth just gets me. And for what I think lesbians are up to, it just does not seem healthy. Anyway, Tax Network USA. There was murder of this young man, Austin Metcalf.
28:00You guys know the story. He was a twin, him and his brother approached this kid, Carmelo Anthony, who apparently was sitting in the wrong section. Some words were exchanged on Carmelo Anthony, he happens to be a young black man, Austin Metcalf, young white guy. Carmelo stabbed with a fairly small knife, but stabbed Austin Metcalf, who then bled out and died in the arms of his twin brother. He was convicted of murder about a week or so ago. And now that the trial is done, they are releasing some of the footage. So I wanna show you some of the body cam footage here. And what's eerie about it is that Carmelo, as opposed to screaming, you know, you would think if he had been attacked, which was sort of implied, or if he was, you know, being, if they were yelling all this racist stuff at him and threatening him and everything, that he would have been telling that to the police officers.
28:46But note how calm he is here during this arrest. Don't reach for anything, all right, man? Stop right there for me. Right there. Dispatch 443, I got the suspects. And they're currently treating the victim. Again, he's on the north end of the stadium. Some little under. Yeah, like, no, ma 'am, I don't think so. What's your name, ma 'am? Carmelo Anthony, K-A-R-M-E-L-O. Okay. Okay.
29:21Carmelo, C-A-R-A. K-A-R. K-A-R. M-E-L-O. M-E-L-O. Carmelo, what's your last name? A, N, D, H, O, and L. Okay, so the reason I wanted to show you that is because half the people that are defending Carmelo Anthony are making it seem like he was unjustly attacked and all that stuff. He's quite calm there and to his credit, can you credit a murderer? To his credit, he's cooperating with the police and everything else. Now, unfortunately, so much of the narrative around this, because it was a white victim and a black perpetrator, and you can argue it, there would be a flip version of it, the other way is everything's about race, right?
29:59Like everything seems to come down to race. And there's a whole bunch of people, we showed you some videos last week, a bunch of black people who are outside of the courthouse, basically saying, well, this is unjust and da da da. It's like, no, he was the murderer in the case. Here is Jeff Metcalfe, who is Austin Metcalfe's father, talking about Carmelo Anthony's, his representative, this guy, Dominique Alexander, who showed no remorse to the family who lost their son and actually threw them out of a press conference, which we played for you. You might remember that. I was hoping we could show the world this wasn't a racial divide thing, that we could kind of close the gap instead of widening it.
30:40But at that point, they'd obviously retained the services of Dominique Alexander, a convicted baby-shaking felon advocate who decided to throw me out of the press conference, had me removed by police, and then proceeded to gaslight me and tell me how I was such, you know, I can't remember the word to use, but that I shouldn't have been there and it was not dignified to my son or myself, which I really couldn't quite understand as they proceeded to gaslight me. And also took it. There was a young lady who has followed the case also from the entire town. Her name is Sarah Fields. Also showed information about her.
31:20That's when they took it from any type of remorse, which they did not show, to the fact of now we're going to play the race card. And now we're going to politicize this. Now we're getting a political activist involved. Okay, so the last part there, now you'll see why I'm going to connect this to some of the wider cultural things we're dealing with, because what you're seeing there is a grieving father. Imagine your son is dead. He dies in the arms of his twin brother, literally bleeds out in his arms. You then go to a press conference where the defense is talking and the representative is trying to kick you out of the press conference and imply that you're racist and everything else.
31:56Like it's so absolutely insane, particularly because the Metcalf family did not want to make it about race and Carmelo's family never apologized. Here's a bit more. One of the first interviews I ever did was, please don't make this about race and please don't politicize it, but they chose to do both. And your goal that day was to simply get together and pray? All I wanted, yeah. I was actually hoping to show them, hey, look, man, I know what happened was terrible, and your son made a horrible mistake. I was hoping for some accountability, maybe, and some remorse. Neither one was shown. Have you ever spoken to the Anthony's?
32:37No. No apology, no remorse? Nothing. You were telling me you were inside the courtroom quite obviously after the verdict. The Anthony's left. They weren't there for Carmelo's sentencing. That is correct. They weren't there for the sentencing, and they were not there for victim impact statements. They left that poor child up there by himself. As soon as the verdict was read, he was guilty. His family and some other advocates left the courtroom and turned in their badges. All right. I promise you'll see how we're tying this together. Think about this for a moment though. That is the victim's father, not the perpetrator's father.
33:15The victim's father is saying, could we have all gotten together and prayed and made sure that this wasn't about race and something horrible has happened here, but could we do that? You would think in some sense, if someone was gonna do that, it wouldn't be the victim's father doing it, right? It would be the perpetrator's father being like, boy, something really horrible happened. We should reach across the aisle to the people who are the victims here and pray with them and hopefully calm tensions. But in this case, it was the victim's father who did it and was completely rebuffed. Now, here's where it starts to get crazier.
33:49He then went on several podcasts and it's just incredible that he can even do interviews about any of this stuff. Like this all happened less than a year ago. And here he is talking about how he could have made it all about race. He could have gone to their level and made it about race. Watch. I stay in my lane. Just don't come in my lane with your b****. I respect everyone until they disrespect me.
34:23I've been disrespected by so many people so many times while I've had to sit here and take it. Let me make one up. Y 'all can make something racist up so y 'all can go viral. I got a new name for Melo, okay? Because he was such this little boy y 'all was trying to portray. How about Watermelon Felon? How's that one strike ya? Okay, so now you'll really see where we're going, I promise. So he's talking about how from the beginning of this thing, he was being, him and his family were being attacked by the media. So he's saying, even though I tried and we tried not to make it about race, we tried to pray with these people, we tried to de-escalate the whole situation, It didn't work.
35:05So then in a moment of frustration, he's not really making a racist statement there about watermelon mellow. He's not really making a racist statement. He's saying, I could do that. That's the way you could do it. Or he's basically saying the way the internet works is if I say something like this, this is what you're all gonna say to me. And then of course, over on The View, well, Sunny Hostin took that completely out of, thank you, you really need it here. She took that completely out of context and Whoopi sort of tried to clean it up before they went to commercial break. One last thing, I know we're playing the music, but Metcalf, Austin Metcalf's the victim, the deceased, his father went on a podcast and listened to it for yourself, but he called Carmelo Anthony a racial slur.
35:48And he also said that the reason that black people weren't on the jury is because black people are unable to hold bias from the trial because they don't know their own fathers, have a bunch of baby mamas running around living off of government assistance. So that is the thing, that's the thinking of the victim's father. Well, let's not say that that was the victim's thinking as well. I'm not saying it was the thinking of the victim, but of the victim's father. And we'll let you sit with that. We'll be right back. We'll let you sit with that hot steaming pile of poop. He made the racial contact, the watermelon remark, not to be racist.
36:23He was saying, we've gone out of our way not to be racist. I could be racist, in essence, what he was saying. And then when she talks about, oh, that black people couldn't be on the jury and everything, because he extended that and said, I could say all of these things, but I'm not saying these things, right? If I wanted to make this about race, right? Like you could do all that stuff, but he didn't do all that. And the fact that Sonny, she reads, she doesn't believe a word she's saying. She's handed notes right before the show and she reads it. And who's handing her the notes without telling her, Sonny, you're missing the context completely.
36:55Okay. God, it goes, This is the view. The view is now a pain that is just sat right in my shoulder right here. All right, let's talk about Rumble Wallet for just a second, and then just more craziness out of New York City. Surprise, surprise. How much control do you have over your money right now? Technology has changed almost everything, and now it's changing money. Crypto started as a niche idea, but has become mainstream, offering faster payments, more control, and fewer middlemen. Take control of your money today, scan the QR code, click the link in the description, or visit wallet.rumble.com slash Ruben to get started. All right, let's go to New York City, where the implosion is going according to plan. Listen to this from Fox News. Federal immigration officials are urging New York authorities not to release a 59-year-old Salvadorian national accused of raping a 16-year-old girl on Long Island, warning that he should be turned over to ICE if released from local custody.
38:15The Department of Homeland Security said on Thursday that it lodged an immigration detainer against Orilano Antonio Melendez Reyes, who is charged in Suffolk County with rape, sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child. According to prosecutors and DHS, the alleged assault occurred on June 6th as the girl was walking home in Huntington. Authorities said Reyes repeatedly approached the girl and asked for her phone number after she refused. He allegedly forced her into an alley and sexually assaulted her. According to DHS, Reyes entered the United States illegally at an unknown date and location and was issued a final order of removal by an immigration judge in 1998.
38:53DHS is calling on Governor Kathy Hochul and her fellow sanctuary politicians in New York to commit not to releasing this criminal illegal alien from jail and to turn him over to ICE. Biss continued, New York's sanctuary politicians must not release criminals from jail into New York communities, she added. DHS said New York jurisdictions have released nearly 7 ,000 criminal illegal immigrants since January 2025. Did you catch the last part? since January of 2025, six months, they've released 7 ,000 criminals. They're not just talking about, you're a criminal if you're illegal in the first place, but they don't even count that as criminal.
39:30They're talking about people who have committed crimes, been arrested, not been sent to ICE, and then been put back out on the street. I have to say, this one's a little personal to me because I grew up right by Huntington. Huntington's the town that we all went to at night, and I'm sure I was wandering around with my friends when we were 16 years old. I know I was for sure. And it's a beautiful place. And now because of these ridiculous sanctuary laws and their absurd leniency, oh, commit a crime? Oh, you sexually assaulted, maybe raped a girl. We're not even gonna keep you in jail and you can stay in the country.
40:05This is where the feds must get involved. It is criminal and illegal. It is breaking the supremacy clause, which we've talked about before. And this is exactly what Zorhan wants as he tries to destroy New York City so he can usher in his communism-jihadism hybrid. Here he is on bat. I've been clear that I'm proud of our sanctuary city status. It is a status that we have had in the city for decades. It's also a status that when there's the conviction of more than 170 serious crimes does allow for coordination with the federal government on that. However, beyond that, that is something that we have made clear.
40:47We are not going to allow this city to become the civil immigration enforcement arm of a federal government. As their mayor, I firmly believe that ICE should be abolished, that we should have an answer to the question of immigration with humanity at the heart of it. and that I will not sit here alongside you and proclaim that the only way to respond to it is an agency that I'm older than. I have to say, I'm a little more hawkish when it comes to immigration. I would denaturalize and deport him. That's what I would do. And maybe he could go back to his multimillion dollar family home in Uganda, which is guarded.
41:19Get the picture of his family home in Uganda, which is quite beautiful and it's fenced in and they have armed guards and that's where they had their wedding. And yeah, let's grab that in just a second. The whole, you guys know, The whole notion of a sanctuary city is completely absurd. The federal government is in charge of the border. So once you are protecting and housing and giving benefits to these people who are breaking the law in the first place, you're breaking federal law. And really what Zorhan is doing here is he's trying to push it as far as he can, I think so that Trump will have some sort of reaction.
41:54And well, according to Tom Homan, there might be a reaction coming. Last time we had you on the program, you were considering surging ice into New York because of Kathy Hochul's policies. Where do you stand on that today? It's coming. Care to expand? Put a little meat on that bone there, Tom. We can't. We're not going to forecast when we're going to be there, but I made a promise and we're going to be there. I believe the guy. I, for one, believe the guy. So we're gonna send people in. Is Trump pacing this a little bit? Does it happen right before the midterms or after the midterms or what? But I believe that they will do it.
42:37And sorry, Zorhan, you are breaking the law. You are ruining New York City. And if there's any chance that New York City doesn't end up at the bottom of the abyss, well, it will be because Tom Homing goes in there and cleans it up. We have a couple images of his house in Uganda. Well, that's interesting. Look at that fence, wall you might call it, with a big door and that view looks pretty sweet and that nice pool and they're super rich and there were no cameras allowed at their wedding and everything else. But people of New York City just have zombie rapist murderers wandering around, that's what you gotta do.
43:11And of course all of this is that Zorhan has his soft lighting and his lo-fi music in the background and he says all these things that sort of sound right. And then a bunch of dumb, and that's what they are, dumb, I was gonna say uneducated, but the thing is they are educated, educated in all the wrong ways, young progressives who lead with empathy. They think if you are just nice to people that good things will happen. Of course, what happens usually is that bad people see nice people and they take advantage of them. Sometimes they rape and murder and behead them. This, of course, is what my friend Gadzad calls suicidal empathy.
43:50Here is, this one was a little disappointing. John C. Reilly, you know John C. Reilly. I really know him from Boogie Nights, which is one of my favorite movies of all time. If you have not seen Boogie Nights from 1997 with Mark Wahlberg, it is a phenomenal, phenomenal movie. But he's also been in a lot of movies with, he was in what? Step Brothers. He was in Step Brothers. He's been in a lot of movies with Will Ferrell. Anyway, here he is on a podcast trying to explain suicidal empathy. He gets the phrase wrong. And just listen to this kind of drivel that comes out of these Hollywood lefties. You know, if you stand up for human rights, why is that a right or a left thing?
44:26Why aren't people on the right wing concerned about human rights? They're human too. This whole thing that kind of has come into vogue of like empathy trap. You know, it's an empathy trap. You know, like that's what Elon Musk says. Like empathy is like, don't be fooled by empathy trap. Yes, yes, yes. You know, stick to your agenda and what's best for you. Holy f**k. Don't start feeling bad for so-and-so. They're on their own thing. Look out for number one. like it's like wait a minute empathy is not a trap empathy is a superpower that's right that's what makes human beings exceptional our ability to like look outside of ourself we're not an alligator trying to just get the next fish you know we're human beings we can relate to something that's not us that you know like that's a superpower all right first off empathy in and of itself is not a superpower if you want to if you want to talk about what separates us from the animals it might It might be that being able to regulate our emotions.
45:22Animals can have emotions, but they have no ability to regulate those emotions, right? So an animal, we've all seen this with a dog or with a monkey, they can be happy and they can be playful and they can be angry and they can be fearful, obviously. What separates us from the animals is that we can properly regulate those as humans with functioning brains. Elon is not saying, and Gadzat is not saying, have no empathy. They're saying don't have empathy to the point that it overrides all of your other faculties. So what was the line? He goes, why is the right not concerned with human rights? It's like, what are you talking about?
46:03The right, which is trying to make sure that America has a border and that we have clean cities and safe streets. Those are basic things that you might consider human rights. The right is trying to do it, but he will sit there and go, no, it's the left, because we say everyone is, no one is illegal and everyone is, also, is that even John C. Reilly? It looked like a guy in a John C. Reilly mask. All right, we'll leave that there and talk about Iran for a minute because I actually do think over the last couple of days, as you saw, I was not a panicking. I saw a lot of people, J.D.'s there. Yes, there was some messy stuff and did he kind of get snubbed and he said some strange things, but we're trying to wrap this thing up and I just think, as I keep saying, as I've said all along, that Trump and this administration deserve a little bit of our trust to see what will happen here.
46:50So there are multiple negotiations going on. It's about the nuclear stuff. It's about whether Iran is gonna continue to fund Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations, what's gonna happen with the Strait of Hormuz. There's a whole bunch of stuff that they left in the purview of JD. But now Marco is getting involved. And this is where I think we might get some things to really be tightened up. So listen to this, it's from the embassy, our embassy and consulate in China. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel to the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain from June 23rd to 25th, that's today.
47:22The Secretary will discuss a range of regional priorities including the memorandum of understanding with Iran, efforts to secure full and free transit through the Strait of Hormuz and the importance of peace and stability in the region. In Bahrain, the Secretary will also meet with the Gulf Cooperation Council to discuss shared priorities across the region. Okay, so this is interesting because he's going through three countries that were all attacked by Iran. So they would like Iran to be more neutered when it comes to ballistic missiles and drones and everything else. So it seems, I think perhaps what's going on here is that JD was sent in first.
47:55Let's get the basic memorandum of understanding. Let's get like sort of the basic parameters, right? Here we go. We got a page of stuff that we're trying to accomplish. Now we send Marco in and he's gonna have to do a little more of the granular heavy lifting. How are we really going to change these alliances And how are we gonna make sure that Iran doesn't behave badly again? And how can we perhaps expand some of the Abraham Accords and a whole bunch more? Here's Colonel Mike Jernigan on Fox talking a bit more on what Rubio's doing over there. Yeah, I think that's great that he's gonna go see our Gulf partners in the region.
48:30Because remember, there's six countries that have been struck by Iranian missiles. You know, Jordan is defended against 300 missiles and they're far away. So I think that Secretary Rubio, to answer your question, I think he's going to provide reinforcing conversations with our partners in the region. You know, ones that have been buying and using American weapons to defend themselves from the Iranian drones and missiles. In contrast to the Chinese systems that the Iranians bought that are now at the bottom of the ocean in their navy. Right. So this is good. And by the way, this is what I was saying months ago, right?
49:03once Iran started attacking these Gulf nations, they're gonna look at their alliances different. And most of them, they're not the most tech savvy people in the world and they like having a little bit of an American umbrella of defense. And they're also realizing if you're in Bahrain right now, are you worried that Israel is gonna attack you? Obviously not. Are you more concerned that jihadist groups might attack you or the Iranian regime, which just did attack you, might attack you again? Of course. So there's a real opportunity here. And if there was anyone you could ever hand this thing to and say, can you make something of this?
49:34I think it's obviously Marco Rubio. To the backdrop of that, it does sound like JD has made some headway, at least on the nuclear side of things. Here he is on that. ...prices and gas prices are gonna keep coming down. Number two, we actually set up the right mechanism to ensure the regional ceasefire, to manage the inevitable conflicts that will come up. We feel great about that. We're working with our allies, from the Israelis to the Gulf Arabs, to make sure that sticks. And we feel very, very good about where that is. We have the Iranians allowing weapons inspectors, nuclear inspectors into their country for the first time in a long time.
50:06We're obviously going to bolster that inspection regime to make sure they can never have a nuclear weapon. And finally, we continue to make progress on these technical negotiations. We left a lot of our team, the Iranians left a lot of their team at the resort there to keep on working at it. So all in all, a very productive 36 hours. We're going to have to keep working it. Okay, so this is why I'm just not panicking at the moment. I think you have to trust that but they did do some good things there. We have a ceasefire that is pretty much holding, and the only thing that's causing the ceasefire to be a little bit shaky is that an Iranian terrorist group, Hezbollah, is a proxy government almost in Lebanon.
50:48The Lebanese people don't want them there anymore. That's what the Lebanese, this president even said. They have created mass destruction of their country by lobbing rockets into Israel, which then Israel has to respond to. So the last piece of this now, If you can get Iran to stop funding them, and all those other countries are like, no more with this Hezbollah nonsense. You guys gotta get out. I don't know where you're gonna go. I guess you could probably go to Turkey. They seem to love the bad guys, but you gotta get out of Lebanon. And Lebanon and Israel do not have a territorial dispute, right?
51:16There is a border that existed on October 6th, 2023, and it wasn't until I think October 8th, 2023, that they started firing rockets over, when they felt that they could maybe completely annihilate Israel after October 7th. That thing could be peaceful tomorrow if Hezbollah disappears. So he's working on that. And then on the nuke thing, it's like, yeah, I'll trust that, as he said, bolster was an interesting word. There's gonna be people going back in. Trust but verify. We can maybe bolster it a little bit more. Again, what happens if the Democrats take office in two and a half years? We probably build them a bomb and ship it to them with a little extra cash inside, but we'll see about that.
51:52Here's a bit more on what's going on in terms of some of the economic things that are changing on the ground, which if you want countries to kind of work together, well, maybe if you do some economic things, people are less inclined to be shooting at each other. That's something that was raised yesterday that they've already agreed to, the Iranians have already agreed to that. Yeah, that was something that came up yesterday, and we actually asked the Qataris to help us set up the mechanism so that we can ensure that the money goes where we want it to go, and they agreed to do that. We have a good relationship, obviously, with them and a good operational oversight mechanism in place.
52:24But even with that said, even with the caveat that's gonna benefit American farmers and obviously benefit the people of Iran. We want both, but fundamentally that money is not gonna be unfrozen unless we continue to see progress. So that'll obviously be a big part of the negotiation in the days to come. All right, so again, we'll see with some of this stuff. Maybe some money gets unfrozen, and if they're using it in a way that's benefiting the people of Iran, and I guess he's saying we trust Qatar to do some of this. Like, I can't, I don't know more about that than you do. I don't, and no pundit does.
52:56Like we're gonna have to see where some of this falls and why we should trust the Qataris. I'm not exactly sure. But it seems like they're trying to fundamentally change things there. I think that is good. And I also think Trump, who has a way of saying things quite simply, knows what he is doing. And that if the Iranians don't do this, or if they lie or they pull the rug out from this thing, well, Trump can do this. If Iran doesn't live up to their agreement, or if they're not behaving, I will do what I have to do. I will suffer. Yeah, and I believe that. And what he's saying is meaning we'll attack again.
53:32Like if you guys don't dry up the money to Hezbollah, if you start fudging around with the new stuff, whatever it might be, like you have to have that threat, right? You don't just enter a negotiation. Oh, you signed a piece of paper, I'll sign a piece. Oh, you're probably, here's, what did we do with Obama? Here's billions and billions of dollars and you promise you're not gonna spend it on anything else? And then suddenly next thing we knew, Money was fungible and we know that they were fundering all sorts of terrorism and everything else. So we will see what happens with that. All right, guys, we're close to the big finish here.
54:01So as you know, I've been talking about it since the beginning of the year. We are rolling into our 250th anniversary here in America. It's a beautiful thing. And I think that there's going to be this resurgence of patriotism. I hope there'll be a whole bunch of celebrations. I hope despite my shoulder, I'll be able to get some bottle rockets and some other cool fireworks going out there. I think I might be in D.C. for some of the celebration. We're working on something. But here is Joy Reid. You remember Joy Reid from, well, she's now unemployed. I guess she's got a podcast or something. Anyway, here she is with Alex Wagner, who also was on MSNBC at one point.
54:36I think her husband was Obama's chef also. It's all very incestuous. But here she is saying that no black people are into July 4th. Because in many ways, and with apologies to my dear spicy white friends, because I know that my white brothers and sisters do love a Fourth of July. It is Independence Day. Everybody's barbecuing. It's a thing. I can promise you, Black folks, we will take that day off. We will barbecue because we off. But Black people that nobody Black I know is really excited about the Fourth of July because it is a it is what Frederick Douglass said it is. It is the celebration of slaveholders who freed themselves from having to pay taxes to the crown for their slave empire.
55:16And that is what it is.
55:24Lady, that is it's not only just one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard. It is. It just is. Black people are not celebrating the Fourth of July. Black people don't have every reason to celebrate this country like everybody else. And again, that this thing was founded on slavery. It was our original sin and everything else. Not only were the founders writing the laws to free the slaves, you can read them, and had complex issues around all of that. And there was an argument between the abolitionists and the people that wanted to do it slowly. and all of the different things, and it was a different time and everything else.
56:07But America fought a civil war basically to eliminate slavery within 100 years of its founding, while slavery has existed as an institution in humanity for thousands and thousands of years. And black people have enslaved black people and everything else. So that you would even be, you're giddy about it, like, but black people, we'll take a day off, but we ain't celebrating this thing. Well, that's a damn shame. I know plenty of black people that will be, and maybe it's just because you're around shitty people and it has very little to do with their skin color. Perhaps, guys, instead of that, we should go for a little more of this.
56:44Find the people in the country, wherever they may be, who you might think are really, really different than you, who actually aren't that different from you. So the skin color part becomes the least important part. So on Club Random Podcast this week, Bill had country legend Kenny Chesney on. And here's Bill, Bill who's, you know, you can consider him kind of Hollywood elitist, right? He's been in Hollywood forever. He's a Democrat guy, all the stuff I always say about him. But here he is talking about how much fun he always had when he would do comedy clubs down south, as opposed to being in LA, take a look.
57:23You know, the ones I really, I mean, I loved all the ones we did, but I especially liked the ones in the south. There was the... The truck stop. The truck stop in Raleigh. And I do have an affection, not just for that part of the country, because I played it my whole life. Those are my people. Those are your people, and I love your people. And I hate it that America, and the kind of snobby people that I rub shoulders with a lot out here. I'm sorry, but that is a lot of what Los Angeles is, very uber-woke snobby types who just... And I think I used to be more of them. I'm glad I'm not. And I think traveling the country and being in those places just gave me a very different perspective than people who just stay here.
58:10Because, you know, I always have more fun there. I like the audience better usually. Yeah, you know why? Because those people, those middle of the country people aren't all of the things that the elites have said about them for so long. and Bill, as you said, you're in these circles in Hollywood, but not much longer. We played you the video a couple months ago. Was it the Golden Globe Awards that he was at? Yeah, it was the Golden Globe Awards where they were making fun, Bill showed up, and I guess he was nominated for Best Talk Show, which he's been nominated. How many times has Bill been nominated for Real Time, been nominated?
58:44Something like 20 plus times, it's never won. But meanwhile, Colbert wins and Kimmel wins and everything else, and it's like, politics aside, Real Time is obviously a much better show than any of those shows. I think you can really objectively say that. He's been nominated, I mean, I'm sure it's two dozen times at least, yeah. Something like that. And they were making fun of him, like don't be like that guy because he's the one outsider there. And what he found is doing comedy, that going down South with these people that he thought he was supposed to be oppositional to, right? I'm a liberal from LA and they're the Southern backwards people.
59:18And what he found was that they were kinder and nicer and everything else, which is so mirrored of my own experience as I went from left to right. and suddenly was around all of these people that I was told were so horrible and I found them to be the complete and utter reverse. All right, we did a show with 41 nominations, not one win. He did win 22. No, he won 22, but not Golden Globes. Like that's a totality of all the things. Yeah. All right, we did it. Guys, you know what helps a busted shoulder? Copan. Have a little tequila. That was nice that that came up right there. I think we got something cooking for my birthday, which we'll probably release a little later today related to Copal.
