In short

Dave Rubin reacts to Zohran Mamdani’s July 4th speech at George Washington’s desk, plus related protests in New York, and argues the left/Democrats are moving toward Marxist-Islamist and socialist/DSA power grabs that threaten America’s founding principles.

Guest backgrounds

No guests appear in this transcript segment (it’s mostly Rubin commentary and clips). Mentions include Ron DeSantis (politician), Charlie Kirk (activist), Robert O’Neill (Navy SEAL), Alex Jones (media figure), Elon Musk (tech CEO), Sneako (streamer), Hasan Piker (streamer), Ro Khanna (U.S. representative), Nadia Mohammed (mayor), Gustavo Gordia (DSA co-chair), and Wes Moore/Josh Shapiro (governors), plus various viral socialist students.

Key claims

Mamdani is framed as a “communist/jihad” threat; the speech is said to be class-warfare propaganda. Rubin claims protests calling for U.S. destruction should be stopped. He argues Islamists and leftists are allied, and that DSA/socialists want to “overthrow” U.S. imperialism. He also claims progressive policies don’t produce successful businesses and that Democrats are “gatekeeping” poorly.

Notable examples

Mamdani’s “George Washington’s desk” speech; Sneako’s “Islamic Republic of New Yorkistan” video; DeSantis on God-given rights; DSA statements about “overthrowing” the empire; viral rapid-fire socialist candidate responses; Ro Khanna’s children allegedly owning Ohio golf clubs via trusts.

0:00I've tried a lot of seafood over the years, guys, and truly it's been hit or miss. You know, sometimes it looks great, but then you cook it and it just doesn't have that flavor or freshness you expect. So finding something reliable has made a huge difference. Wild Alaskan Company really changed that for me. It's the best way to receive high quality wild caught seafood delivered right to your door on your schedule. The first box I got was super easy to use. Everything comes individually portioned and vacuum sealed, so there's no guesswork. I cooked that wild Alaskan sockeye salmon just in a pan with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper, and it turned out fantastic.

0:34Clean flavor, great texture, and didn't feel like frozen fish at all. I've also tried the wild Pacific cod, which I love. It's light and flaky and really easy to work in when you need a quick dinner. What stood out is that the fish is quick frozen right after it's caught in Alaska, so it locks in that freshness along with the nutrients like omega-3s, and it's clean. no GMOs, no antibiotics, no additives, and it supports sustainable fishing and Alaskan fishermen. They're so confident in the quality that there's 100 % satisfaction, money-back guarantee, so there's no risk in trying it. Go to wildalaskan.com slash Rubin for$35 off your first order of premium wild-caught seafood.

1:48It's the fourth time. Most likely to scare small children in a dark room as a congressional member from 2021 to 2024. Set your AC to 78 degrees to add a cool, brisk 65 degrees. Ha ha ha! There's Connor!

2:26What's up, people? I'm Dave Rubin. This is the Rubin Report. It is July 6th, 2026. I hope you had a great 4th of July weekend. Ate all of the hot dogs, or the glizzies, as the kids call them. Had the burgers. Hope you lit some fireworks and did all of the fun stuff. We had a great weekend around here. But before I do anything, because I know people want to know, had a doctor's appointment this morning. And I don't know if the stem cells are working already or what, but look at this. Full, well, not full, and there was a little click, but some stuff's happening. And I'm back. And I said that last week, I said that I would start wearing jackets again.

3:00I'm going to just push it maybe a couple more days just because it's the back motion that's getting me. But we're getting there. I'm feeling good. I'm actually feeling good about the state of the country, too, after our 250th birthday. And basically all year long, I've been saying the same thing over and over again, that my My feeling was at our 250th birthday, there would be this resurgence of patriotism. It would wake up some people. We would see what is happening with the left, this what has now become the complete outgrowth of communism and socialism and everything else from the Democrat Party.

3:35And I think if we can do something with it right now, if we can package it properly, show people how beautiful and shiny this wonderful America is and young at 250 years old, If we can run with that for the rest of the summer and into the fall, then the midterms might go all right. And maybe we can save this thing. And I don't think I'm a dreamer when I say that. I think it's really possible. We're going to show you some evidence of that. But that is not to say that there aren't bad forces that are accumulating right now that are, you know, in dark rooms doing gross things. And they're all ugly and they don't wear deodorant.

4:12They're just plotting against all of us. So it's a little of everything. Really the theme today is which way, right? It's always a theme that we have here, but it's which way do you wanna keep this thing or do you wanna hand it to the jackals? It really is up to you. And speaking of jackals, let's dive in with jackal number one. Yes, he is the communist with a dash of jihad mayor of New York City, Zorhan Mamdami. And he basically, he gave this ridiculous, I mean, I'm sure you've all seen the clips already, but a really just absolutely awful speech at George Washington's desk. The desk was backwards, which is also a little confusing, but the idea if George, if you could just reconstitute George Washington for one second and be like, this guy would be the mayor of New York City sitting at your desk at our 250th with these people around him telling, like it was just so awful.

5:08We could have chosen many excerpts. We're only gonna bludgeon you with one of them. Here is the commie from New York City, well, from Uganda, in New York City, about America's birthday. As we mark 250 years, what do we see? We see a city of contradictions within a nation of contradictions. We see the wealthiest country in the history of the world, one where children go to sleep hungry while the world's first trillionaire hungers for more. We see monopolies that dominate every industry and oligarchs who buy elections. We see massed agents terrorizing our streets, eating food cooked by our undocumented neighbors before spiriting them away in unmarked vans.

5:51We see a nation whose immense wealth has been built by those with calloused, dirt-streaked hands, those who toil on factory floors and chisel into stone. and we see a nation that has allowed so much of that wealth to be held instead in the soft hands of a precious few. What an absolutely horrible human being. Like put aside your politics and everything else. Like you from Uganda, who if I'm not mistaken, became a citizen in 2018, can we confirm that? Like you became mayor of what was once the most important city in the world. You really could say it was like the center of the world in some sense, certainly financially.

6:31You've ushered in all of this bad stuff, but you couldn't even take a day off. And by the way, there's a reason you can't take a day off. For those of you that didn't see our show on Friday, I had James Lindsay on. One of the lines that James has been repeating for years is that the issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution. So they will always use any excuse to further the revolution, right? So, you know, it's just all he's giving you is just standard commie 101 and it's class warfare nonsense and you shouldn't be proud of this place. And what is he talking about? There are illegals feeding the ICE agents and then they're arresting them, nonsense.

7:06And then going after Elon, like it's just nothing. 2018, was that right? Yeah, 2018. Elon did see that speech as basically everyone did and wrote, Mom Donny has built nothing. He is a taker, never a maker. Can I get Mom Donny's voting record in the New York state legislature? Because he missed most of the votes. The man has done nothing other than accumulate power to destroy New York City. And Connor, did you get a screenshot of these joyous, look at these happy new Americans. Look how thrilled they all are. They all seem so happy to be here. Like did they literally have to say to them, sit there with a scowl, a miserable scowl on your face as this commie jihadi Marxist lectures us with the backwards desk.

7:48What was the purpose of the backwards desk on top of everything else? George Washington is not happy right now. but okay, that's them, that's them. But what is us? And by us, I mean the rest of us, and I really do believe it's about 80 % of us. It's not that 80 % of us will ever vote in unison together, but it's the 80 % of us that really do love the country. We have differences with each other, sometimes on seriously important things, whether, sure, it could be border, but whether it's closely hard-held things like abortion or whatever else, but we love this country, want to figure out how it can continue based in the founders' principles.

8:29Well, here is Ron DeSantis, who was in South Dakota in front. Well, take a look. Our rights either come from God or the government. If they come from God, that's it. There's no more debate about it. Government's either gotta be limited or not. If it is, then we always have to have limited government. And when I see the mandamis of the world, they're basically offering these ideas. They claim they're progressive. They're really regressive. There are things that the founding fathers rejected. There are ideas that have failed throughout history. And we have a chance now with 250 to look back and say, we're inheritors of an awfully good legacy.

9:05We got lucky to have founding fathers pledge their lives, fortune and sacred honor the way they did when they did it. Yeah, I love that line. We're lucky to be part of that legacy. We really are. The founders, who you're sitting at the backwards desk, Mamdami, George Washington, who was also leader of the army during the Revolutionary War, and then they wanted him to remain leader of the military and be president of the United States. And he said, no, that's too much power for one person, which I know in your mind doesn't mean anything because you guys are all on the endless quest for power, but how lucky we are to be the legacy of those people.

9:41And that beautiful shot, right, with Mount Rushmore right behind and the way they angled the camera down just a bit. And of course, DeSantis is right. He's right, not only, well, he's literally right, but he is right in terms of how the founders set this up. We have God-given rights. There are things that are innately yours as a human being that the government didn't give you, but the lefties think that the government gives you everything, right? It gives you all of these things. No, no, no. The way the constitution was set up and why we have had 250 years of freedom and flourishing and are the jealousy of the world is because our government protects your God-given rights, what are laid out in the Constitution and obviously in the Bill of Rights.

10:25So it didn't give them to us, thus it can't take them away. It's a beautiful, it's a linguistic, well, it's a beautiful way of looking at what we are actually doing here. and it's a fundamental difference that those of us broadly on the right have with those on the left. But what else was going on in Mom Dami's New York City over the weekend? Well, Antifa was out and about and look at these characters. Now remember, when I tell you that New York is basically a failed city at this point, that doesn't mean that there aren't moments where it's nice and you can go to Bryant Park and have a cup of coffee and a croissant because you can.

11:05But the problem is that on any given moment, and largely massed lunatics, often with flags of terrorist organizations and everything else, can just march through the street. You can call for the destruction, obviously, of Israel, no problem, but you can call for the destruction of the United States and everything else. So imagine you're trying to enjoy your July 4th weekend. You got your glizzy, you got your little sparkler, and then these guys march right by your place. Death to the USA, goddammit. Death to the USA! Death to the USA! Death to the USA!

11:42Ah, there's that American pride we're always looking for. So look, that's just, look, I don't know, it's a dozen, couple dozen people that are, but it's just standard nonsense. Those people should be arrested immediately, just wandering around. There are noise ordinances, like death, death to the USA, then leave, leave, leave, leave. But for way too long, for way too long, we have been tolerating all of this. We have been allowing this thing to grow, this cancer to grow, and at some point, if we don't deal with it properly, it will consume the host, right? It will go from, maybe it's stage one or two right now, we could probably debate that.

12:22I think it's probably two to veering to three. But at some point, it's stage four, and we will go down. The United States will be wholly infected and we better do something about it quick. So it's like, I'm all for free speech. I'm all for right to protest and everything else. Should people be allowed to march through public streets calling for the destruction of the United States? I don't think so. Am I an authoritarian nutbag and a mean dude? I don't think so either. Like these are basic things that would be ridiculously common sense in more normal times. Now, if you wanna see even just the next version of it, because what is it?

12:58It's the commies and it's the Antifa types and all the lefty and these, whatever these people are, they're all so gross at this point, but it's all of them with the dash of jihad. And that's really the dangerous thing because this is the Marxist-Islamist alliance. And the Islamists are using all of the useless tool lefties, right, Queers for Palestine is very different than Palestine for Queers. They're just using them to attain power. And then eventually they just, they get beheaded like everybody else. So there's this guy, Sneeko. He is one of the biggest streamers in the United States. Okay, this guy's absolutely huge.

13:33Here he is in New York City over the weekend. Take me! I'm not! Allah! Wakma! Oh no! Oh no! This is the Islamic Republic of New Yorkistan. Islam will be in every household. Inshallah, the whole world is Muslim. Welcome to Mamdani's New York. You see this city? You see how it looks? Inshallah, your city looks just like this too. Okay, okay. Now again, should this guy be a citizen of the United States? Should they be able to take over streets? He's calling for the downfall of the United States. You know, if you're going to tell me that everyone's going to become Muslim, you're going to have to kill a lot of people, which is very much in the history of Islam, to make that happen.

14:26But again, we are just sort of letting it happen. Now, interestingly, Robert O 'Neill, who is the Navy SEAL who killed Osama bin Laden, he saw that video, he put this up. These guys sound way different when you wake them up at 2 a.m., shush, hint, hint, because obviously they took out bin Laden at 2 a.m. somewhere in Pakistan. Even look at the strange bedfellows that this all brings together. Alex Jones saw that video and said, deport him now. Elon responded to that, yes. So again, this is the strange position we're all being put in right now. Is Elon great on free speech? Obviously, he bought Twitter basically at a loss to defend free speech.

15:09Alex Jones, you know, you like him, hate him, whatever, says a lot of crazy things like, okay, fine, but he's pretty good on free speech. Dave Rubin, like him, hate him, whatever, pretty good on free speech, but we're all coming around to a certain position that if we don't do something about these people, they are going to destroy the country because they're telling us, they're telling us they don't like the founding, they don't like what has happened, and they are telling us what they will do if they attain power. We'll have way more on that on the second half of the show. So what is it that we are gonna do?

15:41I mean, that really is the challenge. This is what I was thinking about a lot over the weekend because I saw a lot of people are starting to come around to this. and it's again, it's what I've been saying for a while, but like we are going to have to make a choice as a country and it won't just be about deportations of illegals. Like what are we going to do about people who are marching through our streets, calling for Islam to take over? What are we gonna do about it? And you might say, well, Dave, actually, we're not gonna do anything about it. And you might be right. Maybe we aren't gonna do anything about it, right?

16:11I don't know, I don't know, but we are, but at least now people are starting to discuss why you cannot let bad ideas completely infect your, in the right sense of the word, your good liberal system, classically liberal system, which is what the founders set up. Here is Charlie Kirk from, this is about a year ago, you'll see why it relates to the clip of Sneeko screaming that we are going to live in an Islamic caliphate. Islam is not compatible with Western civilization, period. I'm not talking about individual. We're talking about the macro ideology where many of them gather together and what that metastasizes into.

16:54So I want you to try to filter out any individual interactions because that is a distraction from what is happening civilizationally. How is it incompatible? Number one, we as Christians believe in freedom of speech. We believe that it is our birthright. Islamists do not believe in freedom of speech, period. You cannot question Muhammad. You cannot make fun of him. You cannot question the state number two. They do not believe in freedom of expression or freedom of religion. In Islam, in the verses, you are allowed to lie. You are allowed to deceive in front of God as long as it advances the aims and goals of Islam.

17:31You are allowed to masquerade a different version of yourself. A foreign concept to those of us as Christians. because what is the ultimate value claim of Christianity? It is truth. Islam is taking over by force. There's a reason why it is a religion of the sword to create a global caliphate. All right, so look, first off, everything he said there is true. That's one thing. You know, I was a little hesitant or whatever to play those clips. I've tried not to play too many Charlie clips post his assassination for political purposes. Everyone has taken his legacy. it's been one of the really depressing things online.

18:07It's all these people that purported to like him and whatever, releasing his text messages and playing clips of him, old clips of him out of context for everything else. But that is unequivocally spot on. And it is true and we're watching it happen right now. If Islam wasn't thought of as a religion, if it was just thought of as a political ideology, which actually is what it is, then more and more people would be standing up and saying something about it. but everyone still, even in 2026, wants to be politically correct and everything else. So the leftists, the Marxists, all these people, they are coalescing, they are finding their allies everywhere, and we better be willing to figure out what we are going to do.

18:49But there you have Alex Jones saying, get rid of this guy. Elon Musk saying, get rid of this guy. It's obvious to me, you have to get rid of this guy. Like you start, it's not just that you're gonna deport the illegals, you're gonna start saying to people who admittedly, who are openly here to destroy our country, you will no longer be part of our country. We don't care where you go, don't let the door hit you on the way out, but you cannot be part of this experiment. Because the other problem is, everything that the left is doing is just such drivelous lie and confusion across the board. Here's just a series of videos of idiotic leftists, confused and with just nonsensical drivel and otherwise crappy bollocks.

19:33Black Americans really created democracy in this country. That's exactly right. How they literally made something from nothing. This 4th of July, I say celebrate a Black woman that you know, because whether it's an invention that she made, or whether it's the very democracy that still hangs by a thread right now, there is a Black woman to thank. Somalis have always seen as a fabric, have seen themselves as a fabric of this nation. That immigrants from all over the world, Somalia, India, wherever they're from, Latin America, Africa, that immigrants have built this country. You cannot talk about any achievement that the city of Boston has had in safety, jobs, and economic development in education without talking about the Somali community.

20:32These Somalis, is there anything they can't do? It's just incredible. Look, we should celebrate everybody. Whoever did anything good, that's just fine. You got a black plumber who's pretty good. Thanks, Bob, you did a nice job and the shit is flowing again. But this absurd notion, why are they obsessed with this? Like if you really want to think about who built this country, they don't really want to, right? Because it would be Christians and Protestants. And then ultimately at the turn of the century, you'd have to look at white immigrants like Irish people and Jews and Italians. And like, it's just so boring and driveless and nonsensical.

21:11But I did, the one thing that did make sense to me there was Jasmine Crockett about celebrating a black woman over the 4th of July, which I did. All weekend long, we had pictures of her everywhere in my house. Wheezy Jefferson was everywhere. Love this woman. If you do not, how many seasons was the Jeffersons on? I think it was on for like 12 seasons or something absolutely insane. And Wheezy just with - Cozy season is ahead and you'll be spending way more time inside. Is your home ready? Don't worry. She put, was I right? 11 seasons. They should have had a 12. But that was, she was a great woman. So celebrate, the point of all of this, guys, is celebrate Wheezy Jefferson or the black mother in a sitcom in the 70s and 80s as you choose. Let's talk about Plaud for a minute and then we'll do more on the other side. Guys, you know, a lot of what I do comes down to conversations, interviews, show prep, meetings. The problem is that sometimes the best insights happen in the moment and later you're trying to remember exactly what we said.

23:02That's one reason I've been using Plaud. Look, it's being handed to me right now and it sticks on your shirt like this. the Plod Note Pin S. It's a small wearable that stays with you throughout the day so you can stay focused on the conversation instead of reaching for your phone. Afterward, Plod helps pull together the key takeaways and important points so you're not relying on memory alone. Whether it's an interview, a meeting, or just an idea that you want to revisit later, it helps you keep track of what really matters. If your work revolves around conversations or information, it's definitely worth checking out.

23:31Go to plod.ai slash Rubin. Use code Rubin for up to 20 % off. Once again, that's plod.ai. I code Rubin for 20 % off and they've even got this little thing that'll snap right to your iPhone right there and you can just talk and talk and talk. How weird would it be if you were just talking all day and being recorded? Wouldn't that be an odd thing? That would freak me out. Okay, so let's continue with the theme here. The Democrats are just completely unhinged right now. And as much as we are, I would say, as much as we're in a battle right now for the soul of America, the micro version of it is is that the Democrats are in a battle for the soul of their party.

24:08And I see very little reason to think that the decent people who remain will win that battle. But let's jump over to Minnesota, because again, it was July 4th, very exciting. American flags, the history of the country, you could honor the great people who came before that and everything. Or you go to St. Louis Park, where here's Minnesota Mayor Nadia Mohammed, and she was chilling with Somalia's president.

24:37I just want to say thank you for all the work that you do. Genuinely, it is because of you and your team and the ending on the world and I'm able to come. Again, that's what she's doing on July 4th. I don't care about the Somalis anymore than I, or any less than I care about any other community, but why do they just keep popping up in these strange things? How about just celebrate July 4th on July 4th weekend, instead of hanging out with the president of Somalia, although unless it's like, unless you lady are like what Ilhan Omar said, which is your first allegiance is to Somalia. But it's not just foreign allegiances they have.

25:11All of these people, they cannot do anything. Why is it? Think about it this way. I tweeted this out the other day and I got one answer that I thought was maybe sort of right. But why is it that no business has been built on progressive policies, right? Where is, show me a decent human being who is a full on progressive, redistribute wealth and all of these things that they always talk about, who built a successful business. It just has never happened. The only answer that I kind of got, and there were hundreds if not thousands of replies, a few people said Mark Cuban. I don't know if that's true or not.

25:44I've invited him on the show to discuss if he wants to. But their policies don't work. And that's why it doesn't, in a weird way, it's why they're electing the people they're electing. They're electing all of these young people who've never done anything. But having never done anything, is thought of as a positive. You just have to bow. As long as you do the thing and say the thing, it doesn't, oh, you've never done anything, but you're a radical who wants to destroy America? Let's make you controller of... Over on CNN, Nithya Raman, a woman who on election night of the LA mayoral debate conceded and was crying only to find out that she's back in now, and they booted Spencer Pratt.

26:24Here, she's asked about why she's a democratic socialist, and I think she's a little confused. Why are you a democratic socialist? You know, I'm a member of the DSA. I'm also a member of the Democratic Party. And I really got into this work to make sure that we are serving the people of Los Angeles. And I don't think there's particularly a democratic socialist way or a democratic party way of fixing a streetlight or fixing a pothole or making sure that we're delivering for the residents of the... Yeah, well, there isn't because you guys don't know how to do anything. If you want someone to fix a pothole or a streetlight, you might wanna get somebody who is educated, who learned how to do it, maybe went to a trade school.

27:05And then if you wanna keep the prices down on that, you'd have a whole bunch of different people doing that. That would be capitalism and market competition. And then you could maybe get somebody to do that. There's no democratic socialist way to do anything. But okay, so she's not that great. But now I wanna show you this video that was going viral over the weekend. It's just a bunch of young people. It's just a bunch of young people explaining why they are socialists. And this is one of those moments where you're just glad you don't have smell-o-vision because these people smell. Go. I'm a socialist because I think we should fund public education, not bombs that kill innocent children.

27:42I'm a socialist because I want to see my immigrant communities live with safety and dignity. I'm a socialist because I know that the only way we all get free is if we put an end to the U.S. war machine. I'm a socialist because no child should have to go to bed hungry or without a roof over their head. I'm a socialist because I want a sustainable future for my kids. I'm a socialist because art and culture should be a right for all, not a privilege for a few. I'm a socialist because queer and trans people deserve to live a dignified life where our health care, housing, and jobs are guaranteed human rights.

28:15What job does this ding dong, is that a dude or a chick? Like, what job do you think you should be guaranteed? What are you talking about? But everything, it's just, but no, look, you may say, but those are just little greasy little children who smell and don't know where their genitals are. Yes, you're right to some extent, except it's scaling. Gremlins, gremlins, get me up still, we can't show the video, right? Gremlin movie, when they threw the gremlin in the pool, what happened? They multiplied and that's what's happening right now. Ironically, if you threw these people in the pool, they would be clean, which would be nice.

28:48But it's all just drivel. I'm a socialist for public education. I want public education. Okay, you want state-run indoctrination centers. You might make an argument, and America probably made the argument 70 years ago that public education fully made sense when we didn't have a bunch of radical lunatics brainwashing our kids, but you want them to be radicalized. You want safety and dignity. Okay, the government's gonna give you safety and dignity. Good luck with that. You wanna end the US war machine. Okay, well, it's the thinnest idea ever to say I'm against war because there are bad guys out there and they might wanna make war on you.

29:22You want no child to be hungry. Okay, so yes, the government should take over all industries and dole out, would you like one extra portion of slop? And then, oh, I like that one. Art, she's a socialist because art should be a right. Come on, I could just sell this. Art, everyone gets free one of these. It's all nonsense. But okay, that's just like the dumb version of they're all just kind of gross. Do we have the gremlin thing when he threw the gremlin into the pool? It's important to note. So that's one gremlin, he gets tossed in the pool, he becomes many gremlins, that's the point. The other point of course is that it's not just their drivelous nonsensical ideas like this periphery stuff, it's that they fundamentally want to destroy the United States of America.

30:04The DSA, which is, what is it? It's the Democrat Socialist Alliance, is that what it is, or Alliance, is that what it's called? Democrat Socialists of America. Of America, Democrat Socialists of America. they have all of these young people that are now, they are getting out there, they are voting, they are coordinating and everything else. And many of them flat out want to destroy the country. Take a look. And, you know, we have a unique responsibility to act from the heart of empire, the belly of the beast. The most important thing that we can do is take that empire down from within. Our role ultimately is to facilitate our own empire's failure in ways that we can, ultimately to overthrow our own empire.

30:45Imperialism is, US imperialism is not a thing that can be reformed away. It has to be overthrown through revolutionary struggle. And to build a mass movement that can use the leverage of workers to hit the kill switch on American imperialism here within the American empire. Okay, I have no idea. Were those dudes, were those chicks? Like there's something wrong with all of these people, obviously, but we can't just poo poo it anymore, right? You can't because 10 years ago when this stuff was bubbling up, everyone was like, oh, what was happening? I was one of the left to the left, the progressives are regressive, it's the regressive left and all those things.

31:22And I was getting, me and the few people that were doing it were like, ah, don't worry, they'll get out of college and then the real world will show them. And then what happened? Well, we learned that the real world just kind of folded. So these radicals, I mean, think about these kids that are boy, girls or girl boys or lady boys or whatever they are and they spend all day long trying to destroy the United States of America. It's completely ridiculous other than they are coordinating and they are electing candidates and attaining power. They want to destroy the American empire. Like, what is going on here, people?

31:53Here's co-chair of the DSA, Gustavo Gordia. And, well, listen to his ideas for the future. Do you think it's too early for me to ask if the path to the presidency for a Democrat is going to run through DSA? I think that we will be trying to influence the next presidential primary. And it's still too soon to say how. To say who. Yeah, to say who. You know, I think that many in the organization would be very thrilled if Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez ended up running. But ultimately, that's her decision. And we'll be in conversation. Again, what do you think that kid has ever done? Has he run a business?

32:34Has he run a payroll? Has he built a family? Does he own property that he has to take care of? Like they are, we have, this is why they want free public education. You will take young people, you will brainwash them into being psychotic radicals who will try to destroy the greatest country that the world has ever seen. And then what happens is they start placing these people in all layers of government. And then the 250 thing will kind of be the end of America. That is what we are facing right now, and we are gonna have to make a choice on it. We better take it seriously now. In some sense, you might argue it's too late.

33:13We should have been dealing with this a couple years ago, but here we are, here's the moment that we are at, and we better be taking it seriously. The other guy that they all walk through, if you wanna get anointed as one of these revolutionary nutbags, you go to Hasan Piker, who's the number one lefty lunatic streamer on the internet. You have to go sit with him in the room where he electrocutes his dog on air. Here is Wisconsin governor, Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate, Francesca Hong. And watch, just feed me, feed me nonsense, and I'll bark, feed me, feed me. Now we're gonna do rapid fire, super easy, super simple.

33:53Rapid fire, do you support repealing Act 10? Yes. Universal childcare? Yes. Free school meals? Yes. Guaranteed pay leave? Yes. Abolishing ICE. Yes. A one-year data center moratorium. Yes. Breaking up big ag. Yes. Public grocery stores. Yes. Right to repair. Yes. Legalizing cannabis. Yes. Overturning Citizens United. Yes. A Workers' Bill of Rights. Yes. A Free Palestine. Yes. A Scott Walker statue that people can go to that are made by local artisans and craftsmen that people can slap up if they want to. Tentatively, yes. Okay. I tried to sneak that in there. I was like, oh, we got the momentum.

34:31Like you're saying yes to everything. Maybe I could catch you. Like it's, they're just horrible people. And she's going there so that she can get his, he's got some juice, right? He's got a little juice, a little energy right now. And she wants to get a little of that juice on her, right? She wants that juice all over her face right now so that she can say, see, I'm one of you. And then they just rifle off meaning. It's all meaningless drivel, but all of it, every single one of those things was to give more power to the government. because they are on the quest to control the government so they can control power.

35:04And how do you think it's gonna work out for your free speech when they're in power, right? How do you think it's gonna work out for your businesses or your life or dissent or anything else? These people are in an alternate reality and we've somehow let them affect our reality. A guy who's been fighting this probably more effectively than anyone else is down in Argentina, Javier Malay. And here he is with just as always, just like one of his perfect diagnoses of what's wrong with those on the left. At one point, I thought being on the left was a mental problem. The empirical evidence is so overwhelming, it never worked anywhere, and they refused to accept it.

35:42Therefore, I thought it was a mental problem. I mean, some kind of block that doesn't even let them see the numbers. They are enemies of numbers. They hate numbers. I don't know if lefties hate water or numbers more. I mean, I don't know if they hate bathing more than numbers. But what I discovered is that being on the left is a disease of the soul. The left is built on envy, hatred, resentment, unequal treatment before the law. They are very violent. And since they have no way or arguments to answer, they go for physical violence. Lefties always, let's say, resort to physical violence and all kinds of violent manifestations because they are unable to refute the arguments.

36:16Yeah, all of that is true, including the fact that he's on to it too. They don't seem to bathe, most of them. and they are filled with hate and they are pretending to be tolerant and diverse and all of these things. And they do hate numbers, which is why when I tweeted out this thing about, has anyone built, actually built a business? Like, I get it. You guys have revolutionaries. You've got Bernie Sanders and you've got all of your gender queer weirdos who are gonna strap on suicide best soon enough. I get you. But have any of you actually ever done anything, built anything? And the answer is no, they have not.

36:50Just like Mom Domi. He missed 50, what was it? 50%, over 50%, you told me? Mamdami missed over 50 % of his votes when he was in the New York State legislature. And just being a New York State legislature in the New York State legislature, that's not a job. I'm talking about a job where you have to actually produce something, where you have to create something. And he hasn't done that. What they are really good at is destroying things. The next thing they are gonna wholly destroy is the Democrat Party itself. We'll have more on that in just a second, but for Shopify. Starting something new can be intimidating.

37:21There's always that voice asking, what if this fails? What if nobody notices? That's why having the right tools matters. And that's where Shopify comes in. Shopify powers millions of businesses around the world, giving entrepreneurs everything they need in one place. Online stores, payments, inventory, analytics, marketing tools, and more. Shopify also helps businesses grow with built-in email and social campaigns, AI tools for product descriptions and photos, and ShopPay, one of the best converting checkouts available. Plus there's 24 seven support whenever help is needed. Turn those what ifs into success with Shopify today.

37:54Sign up for your$1 per month trial at shopify.com slash Rubin. That's shopify.com slash Rubin. All right. So look, the party is in a free fall. We all know it. And again, as sort of depressing in some sense, or as blackpilled as I've kind of been halfway through this show, like I'm showing you some great stuff out of, we'll get to the great stuff about America and more on the fourth and everything else in just a sec. The silver lining always with all of this, guys, is if we expose all of this nonsense and we show their radical nature and everything else, again, most Americans are not for this.

38:26So we, in a weird way, we maybe should be thankful with what's happening here. You know, if this was just like a pretty bad but not wholly psychotic communist jihadi party right now, we might all be sleepwalking towards the midterms, but I do, something seems to have happened where it's raising up into the regular consciousness of people how out of control these guys are. And then the hope is that it will push more people to let's say where we all are. Now, one of the guys who should have been a bulwark against this, because I don't think in his heart of hearts, he's a psychotic leftist America hating lunatic.

39:01And he probably isn't because he's worth$230 million is Ro Khanna. However, he is completely decided to go all in on this stuff. And as I've said, Ro would offer, it maybe buys you a day when the beheadings begin and they're going for the oligarchs and everybody else, and they bring Elon Musk's head on a spike and they're like, look what we got, we got him. And then you're like, yay, you got him. And then they're gonna be like, who's next? Well, I'm worth$230 million, but it was my wife's and it was in a trust. And yeah, I have two kids who have three golf courses in Ohio. That's true, Google it.

39:33Get me the info on this. Roe has two kids under the age of 10 who own three golf courses in Ohio. He's one of you guys though. Anyway, here he is and he's very excited about Zorhan's speech on July 4th. So I know you campaigned with Mayor Mamdani when he was running. I'm sure you probably watched that speech today. What did you think of it? And what do you think about, give us your sense of the contrast he was drawing there. I'm glad he did it. It's showing that the same country that produced Donald Trump produced Zorhan Mamdani. And Zorhan, as you know, is a student of history. So it was significant he did that with George Washington's desk, with New York being the first capital of this country?

40:14People often don't remember that, Zoran knows that. Yeah, Zoran knows that. The same country that produced Trump. There is no, first off, he was born in Uganda, okay? He only became a citizen in 2018. He has come here to destroy the place. Like Donald Trump, like him, hate him, whatever. Donald Trump has been a major part of the building of America, and it had nothing to do with politics. the literal building of the American skyline in that very city that this guy's now trying to destroy. But Ro, again, I wish you the best of luck, man. You're so wrong about everything. And to watch someone that's not, you're not as inherently hatefully evil as all of these people.

40:55You're not because you could watch your own stuff five years ago and you were trying to be a somewhat moderate them. So I don't know what's in your heart. I really don't know. I don't know what you believe, if anything, but it is fairly obvious to me what you are doing right now. You ain't gonna give up any of that 230 million. Do we have a bit more info on the children who own the golf courses? Do we have something? Representative Ro Khanna's young children hold ownership stakes in three private golf clubs in Ohio through family trusts. The Sand Ridge Golf Club in Chardon, Ohio. The Mayfield Country Club in South Elud, what is that?

41:28Eulid, Ohio. And sorry, I can't hold my glass. I can't see. And Barrington Golf Club in Aurora, Ohio. These exclusive clubs require initiation fees is reported to be as high as$45 ,000. Lordy, lordy, if you took 200, give me here, we're really testing you today. Do you have a calculator over there? You have some sort of calculator? What if you took 200 million of his dollars and you had$45 ,000 initiation, how many people could we send to his golf courses to still leave him with 30 mil, which should be okay? How many people could we do? So we're dividing 200 by 45 ,000. that is?

42:11It's computers overloading. Did I crash the system? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone? He's got a, what do you have? You have anything over there? Can you do this? 2 million divided by 45 ,000. Wow. 4 ,444 young people could be on golf courses right now if this guy wasn't such an evil capitalist pig. Can you imagine the balls of this guy pretending he's one of them while his kids own three golf courses? What a scumbag. Here is a Democrat political commentator, Jack Cochorella. He had Gavin Newsom on and he asked him, it's a legitimate question about the party, the future of the party and everything else.

42:46Watch. Well, then what do you make of some Democrats who are saying more of the establishment type, maybe the more corporate Democrat wing, saying that these DSA candidates, these progressives are a threat to the Democratic Party or like to the American way of life. They've just kind of got out over their skis with that. What do you make of just kind of that outlandish response? And I'm, I reject it. This is all familiar and it's very healthy. I don't think it's unhealthy. So I completely reject this notion. And look, I'm for addition, not subtraction. The Democratic Party needs to be in the addition business.

43:18It's so meaningless. It's so meaningless. Yes, I'm for addition, not subtraction. Okay, but you don't, I'm for addition, not subtraction. So I'm having a party at my house. there's a bunch of axe murderers and rapists and jihadists and orcs and stormtroopers and gremlins and other evil creatures oh i'm for addition not subtraction invite everybody in let's see how it works oh some of them want to go to my daughter's room and hang out head on up no it's meaningless but you can see it gav you're starting to be afraid too which is kind of nice and you deserve it, because they're gonna come for you too, because you are worth, I think, 30 plus mil, and you have your winery up in Sonoma, which you kept open during COVID when you closed other ones.

44:07So all of them, because the Democrat Party decided to abandon all its principles, now even the ones who aren't psychotic stand for nothing. So they all have to go in. They literally have no choice out of self-preservation, if nothing else. They can't just, if you are not a lunatic and you were in the Democrat party, you will be destroyed. So again, this is where the Fetterman thing is the most interesting one, because which way will he ultimately go? I think we know, I think we know. Here's another one. I don't think he is a complete psychopath. I don't think he's a jihadist or an absolute communist.

44:42He's Maryland Democrat Governor Wes Moore, but once again, I have no principles, just get me as many people as possible. Some of those candidates who find themselves successful have been Democratic Socialists. We saw that in New York, saw it in Colorado. Do you think the Democrats would do a better job of embracing those types of candidates into the party? I think Democrats would be doing themselves a disservice by saying who does not belong. Then it's not a party. You understand a party has a set of ideas. So you have to gatekeep occasionally. You have to say, well, this is a bit much. You know, on the right for the last year, there's been all these fights.

45:18and we've watched people like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens and a few of these others really lose their minds and everything else. And there's been a huge pushback against them on the right because the right said, hey, we're here to conserve certain things that are American principles and these guys are going overboard. That's good and healthy. To just say, we want more people in, we want wide tent, it's addition, not subtraction. Well, then you will ultimately stand for nothing. Imagine if Wes Moore got up there with whoever that woman was. He gets on that show and he's like, you know what, actually, you know, socialism and communism are not what I signed up for in the Democrat party.

45:53What I signed up for in the Democrat party, yeah, maybe it was a little more big government than the Republicans, like, I do think that social services should be expanded. I am okay with, you know, I'm for abortion or whatever. I would be defending him right now. I would say, I'm not gonna vote for this guy. And I don't think he has the right set of ideas, but okay, you're a Democrat. I know what you are and you don't seem to hate the country. You just wanna use a little bit more government in general but you think that this place is pretty decent. Instead, you are saying, well, we just want as many people as possible.

46:26So, well, let's see what happens, and it ain't gonna end well. One guy who's 50-50 on this, and he ain't great, but he's not a total psycho, is Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, and here he is with, I'd say, a little, maybe a teeny, tiny bit better version of what they should be saying to the socialists. How do you feel as a Democrat about someone with those views being in the United States Congress? Her district voted for her. But I have profound differences from that particular candidate, you know, based on the citations that you read there. And she's not someone, you know, who seemingly I would agree with on many things or that we share similar values.

47:18She ran on the Democratic ticket, I guess, as a socialist. Her voters in that district determined that she was the one they wanted representing her. What does that tell you about your party? I think what our party has to go through that will be very healthy and something we've not really done since the 1992 election cycle is to have a battle over what we believe in. Ah, now that actually, particularly the last line, was the right thing. You have to have a battle over what you believe in. So Wes Moore and Ro Khanna and Gavin Newsom, you're refusing to have the battle. You're just saying, I just want more people.

47:57I see where the energy is, I'm going to do it. I'm an energy chaser, give me a little of that. Give me a little of that. Shapiro actually just said what the truth is. These people, he didn't know, he said, well look, that's one district over there and she got the votes, okay, fine. But we're gonna have to, if the Democrat party, you know, every four years when they have their convention, right? And you have a party platform and it says, this is what we believe in. It doesn't mean they're gonna deliver on all these things. Doesn't, you know, like that is politics. It is what it is. But here's what we believe as a party broadly.

48:28And we wanna bring in as many people and then everyone that looks at that party platform, you know, think about it. You have a Republican party platform and a Democrat party platform. Do you watching this right now, do you agree with everything in the Republican party platform? Probably not. Does the average Democrat believe in everything in the Democrat party platform? Probably not, say that five times fast. But then you say, okay, out of these two things, which one is more in line with my views? And how can I operate within one of these parties to make the country more in line with my views?

48:56Something like that. And that's what you end up voting for. The problem is that on the Democrat side, now you have a group of people burning down the tent and you have leaders like Newsom and Rochon and the rest of them saying, hey, more arsonists. Can we have more arsonists? So I would say to Josh Shapiro, the same thing that I would say to Fetterman, which is good luck, good luck. And I genuinely mean it. Even though I would likely never vote for either one of you, good luck saving that party. It is worth noting that, you know, when he brought up Chevalier's election in New York, I said this last week, but there are 459 ,000 registered voters in New York 13, right?

49:33So that means 459 ,000 people could have voted. less than 7 % of the people voted. So she won with 32 ,000 votes. That's why this is all so dangerous. It's not that these gender queer jihadis and all these awful socialists and Islamists, it's not that they've taken over the country and we're looking at them everywhere. It's that they are organizing better than us. They are committed more than us. Everything, as I said, it's not the issue's never the issue. The revolution's always the issue. They are doing everything they can to attain power And they're watching the rest of us going, and these people don't even vote.

50:11That's what's going on here. Anna Paulina Luna, who is a sane Republican from right here in the free state of Florida. Here she is with a little kind of inside nod, nod on what's going on with the establishment Dems in DC. You know, it's interesting because I talked to many Democrats here on the Hill. And what I will tell you is they're even concerned with how it's making their party look. And ultimately at the end of the day, these people want to literally redistribute the wealth. And so what I will tell you is Charlie Kirk always said socialism sucks it doesn't work and honoring him today I will continue that legacy socialism does suck don't do it yeah socialism does suck that but okay fine but the first part is that okay there are some Dems then get some balls Dems I know most of you are asexual and you have no testosterone and any of that stuff but start getting some balls there's strength in numbers so if we We gave you a Fetterman and we gave you Josh Shapiro.

51:04And you know, Bill Maher will promote some of your stuff every now and again. Get a couple other people, put together your little band of people and go to Mordor and do whatever he did with the ring. Did I get it right? It sort of sounded right again. And at the end, if it doesn't work out, at least you have friends. That's the end of the movie. Here's the, what do I call this guy? The dorkiest dork in dork town over there on CNN with the numbers, Harry Enten, here he is. I'm Harry Enten, I'm Harry Enten, and here I am. and here, well, it turns out... And when you put it all together, Johnny B, and you look at the prediction markets, which I think really can sort of put this all together, chance to win the Senate.

51:36The Republican chances, as you noted, John, the environment is getting a little bit better for Republicans. On May 1, Republicans had a 51 % chance to take back the Senate. Now it's a 59 % chance. Look, Democrats have a shot here. Okay, look, well, let me show you one other thing as long as we're talking about betting markets. This from Polymarket. Which party will win the Senate in 26? right now, 56 % say the Republicans, 45 % say the Democrats. Look, if you didn't see an interview that I did with Sean Spicer about a month and a half ago, he was laying out numbers and he's pretty confident, particularly that the, and he knows a little something about this stuff, particularly that the Republicans will hold the Senate.

52:14You know, we're gonna have to see what happens in Maine. There's some weird stuff with the Nazi guy and Susan Collins and all that. But let's say, and again, because the Republicans have the tiebreaker because of the VP slot, But let's say the Republicans do okay there. Well, now with some of the redistricting stuff, it's looking better for the Republicans because the Democrats shot their load a little too early. And then what ended up happening? Well, Florida got four extra Republican seats and there's obviously been a migration to red states. So again, there's reasons for hope here. There's reasons for hope, but we have to just take what they are doing seriously.

52:46Here's House Speaker Mike Johnson on that. This is a serious threat to our whole system of government. These are Marxist. It's communism, socialism, those are deviations of Marxism, begins with the opposite premise of America, and it is a serious threat to us. These people want to say, they're saying it out loud, they want to abolish all borders. They want to abolish all prisons. They want to defund the police. They want to abolish the U.S. Senate. They want to pack the Supreme Court. They want the government to take over control of all production. This is communism, and it has led to the murder of innocent people, tens of millions of them in the 20th century alone.

53:20We have to fight this. Yeah, because people are the problem when you have giant systems. You know, those people keep thinking different things. And some of those people are saying bad things about us. And then the communists end up killing an awful lot of people to create their utopia because humans are not perfect. So there's no such thing as utopia, right? So we've got this great republic if we can keep it. And we seem to be at the strange moment. And maybe it was all supposed to be this way, that at 250, we'd have our moment of choosing. not to sound too corny, but maybe that is kind of where we are at right now.

53:52But everything he said there is right. They are trying to upend every norm. And remember what happened last week, let's not forget. We got how many Supreme Court decisions were laid out last week? There was a handful of them, probably half a dozen or so, yeah, five or six. Some of them were more Republican favored, not Republican favored, some of them were things that Republicans would have been happy with, and some of them were not, right? Like birthright did not go that way. Women in boys sports did go, let's say our way, but we didn't all run around screaming, burn down the courts and pack the courts and everything else.

54:25But every time a decision didn't go the Democrats way, they all did. This is why we have to pack the courts because they didn't get what they want because they are babies. If you take away their toddler, they're gonna... So what do we have to do? Well, one of the things we have to do is we better secure these elections and we better do it fast because if they get power again, they are gonna give citizenship to all these people on top of the fact You don't need an ID to vote in the first place. Here's Trump on CNBC. I think the Save America Act is the most important thing that we have before us, and maybe for many years back and many years forward.

55:03It's voter identification with a photo. But you can't send in millions and millions and millions of ballots where you swamp the place. And it's so corrupt. We're the only country in the world that does it. So it's those three things. Look, he's right. Like, if we cannot secure our elections, look what just happened in Los Angeles where you don't have to show an ID to vote and then you can count mail-in ballots a week later. Someone who literally was crying in a concession speech on election night, Nithya Raman, who we showed you a video of before and who now admits there's no Democrat socialist way to fix a light post, She now is in the general election come November and Spencer Pratt, who was second, is now out and they are gonna really regret radicalizing this guy.

55:53We'll have more on that in just a second. But it's also interesting that Trump is hanging so much on this. He is making it very clear without equivocation, the SAVE Act is the most important thing. But now if he can't get the Republicans to get rid of the filibuster and move on it, it's gonna not come off as, it will quite literally be a massive loss for Trump. He's attached himself to this thing. But of course what the Democrats have to do is endlessly lie about what the SAVE Act is. Here's Jamie Raskin and yes, Republicans don't want women to vote, okay. What do you think he is actually ultimately trying to get at with that?

56:32Well, originally it was a massive attack on women's right to vote because they were saying a driver's license isn't enough. That just proves that you can drive. It doesn't prove who you are. And if your married name no longer matches the name on your birth certificate, that's not good. Now, half of the people probably can't even find their birth certificate. Then they say, well, just go ahead and use your passport. And a majority of Americans don't have a passport. So they're introducing, again, more chaos into the electoral system for no reason at all, because we don't have a problem with illegal aliens voting in the country.

57:05God, it's so evil what they do. It's so evil. It would be so easy to just, yes, okay, yes. What Trump wanted is that married women who had their wrong name on the license wouldn't be able to vote. It's so boring. Or then half Americans under passwords. Let's say you really believe that or any of that is true. First of all, you'd have to be an idiot. But okay, let's say, let's pretend. Then what you would do is say, you know what, it doesn't matter if you're a Republican or a Democrat, we should have some honest way of figuring out who is voting. So then you would just create some sort of government run system, you guys love government programs, to ensure that everyone would have some special ID.

57:45If it's not a driver's license and people can't find their birth certificate and certain amount of people don't have passports and I know black people don't know what a computer is or can't get to Kinko's or whatever, you guys who love government programs, why not in the name of securing elections and to prove what a fraud Donald Trump is, why don't you come together and put a whole bunch of money behind some system that all you have to do is somehow prove who you are, which is pretty basic, and then you will get some sort of card or something which you will then show at an election. But you don't want to do that because you want the fraud to be baked in.

58:24But okay, now let me show you two of my favorite people who make sense about a lot of this stuff. And I think who also interestingly And we are coming to a very similar conclusion that I've come to over the last year or so, which is that we are at this very, very interesting moment. Imagine what Trump could accomplish if the Republicans can keep the House and the Senate with two years without ever having to run again. And then maybe we can really repel this thing. And while I don't wanna give away too much, here's Glenn Beck talking to Bill O 'Reilly. I think if we can get five more years after, there are four more years after this president's term expires, If we can keep this going for another five more years at this kind of speed, I think we have a chance of saving the nation.

59:08I think, you know, through divine providence, our 250th anniversary is happening. People are engaging. Some people are engaging back into the American story. We are doing a lot to revive, a lot to shore up, you know, traditional America. and if we can get back on our feet, we have a chance of surviving. I think if the Republicans screw this up or the Democrats somehow or another get to ride this socialist wave, I don't know if we make it again. Yeah, right? Trump's doing a lot. He's doing a lot in the face of everything. We are never gonna have another Donald Trump. And even though that bench, whether you like Rubio or you like JD or whoever you like, the bench on the Republican side, pretty good.

1:00:01But if these guys keep, every time these guys get anything close to power, they start spreading. What did I say about Mamdami a year ago? It wasn't that I thought New York City was gonna collapse overnight, right? Like you can fake budgets and things for a year. Right now he's talking about their balanced budget in New York. It's because the state, Kokel, gave him I think$8 billion. And he's like, we balanced the budget, socialist style. But my main issue was they could fake it for about a year and it would start scaling. I said that a million times and now it is starting to scale. So if Donald Trump can finish up two really strong years and it all comes down to November, and then you get a Rubio as president and we really push back against all of these things, we could, I don't know that you ever defeat it, you ever fully defeat it.

1:00:49And then the deportations we're gonna have to deal with. And as I said earlier, to denaturalize some of these people. We have enemies of the state, Rashida Tlaib, et cetera, that are in the United States Congress right now. So there's huge, huge things that have to be done, but it might be, and also with the technological changes in AI and robotics, like the world is gonna be so different in five years, but if we can at least get these two years of Trump, maybe one more run of a Republican, then maybe it builds enough systems to really push this thing back for quite some time. But we cannot end with the fight.

1:01:20Let's end with the good stuff. Here is Donald Trump at America's 250th anniversary.

1:01:42Yeah, we cut that short. It's just some—I wanted you to see the beauty of the whole thing, but here's some of the speech. Americans will never let anyone take our freedom away. Won't happen. And all these talks from the communists, they haven't got a chance. Not even a chance. We don't want communists in our country.

1:02:13Yeah, and guess what, guys? You know what? You got a cousin. Your cousin, and he's a commie. Okay, we're not saying jail all of these people. Have whatever your stupid, backwards, private thoughts are. The problem is they are now coming into positions of power in the United States to fundamentally destroy the system itself. This is the soft underbelly of liberalism. They have used the Democratic Party as the weapon to start slicing us up. And we better stop them from doing it because these ideas never work. Here's one more from Trump. Communism is a mortal threat to American liberty. It is the greatest threat to our country, including World War I, World War II, Pearl Harbor, or even 9-11.

1:03:07We're not going to let this happen to us. Believe me, we're not letting it happen. Because communism is the enemy of free people everywhere, everywhere in the world. Never works. It's the enemy of the Constitution. Above all, it's the enemy of July 4th, 1776. It is the enemy indeed. Even while the radicals and extremists attack our incredible history at every turn, they are silent on the miserable history of communism itself because it never worked. Yeah, well, obviously I agree with all that. And what I would say to President Trump is, and I suspect he has a plan and I suspect there are some meetings, but what are you going to do?

1:03:53And I mean this to every single one of us. What are all of us going to do if we keep handing the country to these people are, I'm not calling for violence. They're the ones that like violence, particularly political violence. But like, what would we really do as these people attain power, knowing that they are here to use all of our freedoms against us, that they hate the very system that is allowing, that is affording them these freedoms. So Trump's gonna really have to think about that. Like, Mr. President, what are you gonna do? Particularly if you, well, first off, if you lose the midterms, I mean, just all hell is gonna break loose.

1:04:26But if you win the midterms, what are you gonna do? Are you gonna ramp up deportations? Are you gonna denaturalize some of these people? What else has to happen to our institutions? Like, are you gonna root out the members of Congress who are absolutely anti-American lunatics, who are in bed with the DSA and everything else? You got a big job to do now. I suspect he would be up for it and psyched to do it. But I thought we could end the show on this, because what is a conservative? A conservative is just a liberal who has been mugged by reality. And I referenced earlier that Spencer Pratt, they are going to rue the day they radicalize this guy.

1:04:58Well, look, he may not be the next mayor of LA, but he is stepping into the spotlight and I think becoming a very sort of Trumpian character in his own way, like calling out the BS relentlessly. He was not happy with Mom Dami's speech, so he gave one of his own. We all had to sit and watch that vile commie mayor sit on the wrong side of our founding fathers' deaths to try and lecture us about our own history? Notice how the communist always attacks your history. The communist must attack your history. Why? Because history is what anchors you. It's what makes us attached to something. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

1:05:37History breeds an almost irrational attachment to things, an attachment that is more powerful than anyone can imagine. Erasing history is how you demoralize people, how you unmoor them and detach them from their society so you can take it from them and rewrite it in your image. Think of your country like a home. What makes your home special? It's not the marble countertops or the expensive furniture or the fancy appliances. It's the memories you have there. That backyard is where we got married. That living room rug is where our son took his first step. Hey, don't touch that. That was his first teddy bear.

1:06:11It doesn't matter how torn and tattered that thing is, you will never get rid of it. And you will fight anyone who tries to take it away. Why? Because you have history with it. You ever buy a new home? Remember those first few months? Even the first few years there, it doesn't feel like home. It could be a million times nicer than the crappy apartment you came from, but it doesn't feel like home for a long time because you don't have history there. It's easy to knock down some walls, change the floor plan. If you have no memories to attach you to it, it's just wood and drywall. Who cares? Get rid of it.

1:06:43Memories make it a home, even the bad ones. Hey, remember when dad hit his head on the rafter in the attic and we spent all night in the ER? That's the avocado tree I fell out of and broke my first bone. Isn't it weird how even the bad memories make us cherish a place? It's not like we long for those bad times, but bad times are part of what makes us stronger, a part of what makes us who we are. How can you resent those memories without fundamentally resenting who you are? History is so important to humans that even bad memories anchor us to our home. Guys, it goes on and on. And I'm telling you, they will regret radicalizing this guy.

1:07:17And that is not only what he said there was true, right? The imagery is true. But this is what we need more of, that spirit, that actual righteous indignation, that little chip on the shoulder from a guy who's got a chip on his shoulder. That's what we need more of right now. And if we can just keep, don't forget what you felt this weekend during July 4th. That's the point. Don't forget it. And now start scaling it. They're scaling all of the bad ideas and they're scaling them rapidly, right? Like the gremlin going into the pool, the indoor pool at the high school. Go watch the video on YouTube.

1:07:53It's 30 seconds. That's what they're doing fast. So let's do our thing better and faster and smarter and sleeker and more elegantly and honor the people who set this thing up 250 plus years ago. I thank you for watching. We got a post game show, rubenreport.locals.com. Ciao.
