In short
The host argues that a UK “grooming scandal” involving predominantly Pakistani Muslim gangs targeted up to 250,000 white British girls, and claims the British state covered it up for political correctness. He links this to broader immigration/culture debates, cites Elon Musk’s viral reaction, and then pivots to a critique/support of a US-Iran ceasefire/peace memorandum and nuclear-related concessions. He ends by discussing “woke”/truth claims, using a Bill Maher vs. Howie Mandel exchange about police shootings as an example of “ill-informed” liberal arguments.

Transcript
Automatic transcript. May contain errors.0:00Previously on The Rubin. I might always have like a little quato-like bone. Nothing about this is cool. This is a Wendy's. Not even on the drugs and the mind is a little numb. The bald-headed guy, he was also a thief. I should be wearing a kimono. I can't love the country that's led by Donald Trump. Oh, you're so weird.
0:42All right, people, how you doing? I'm Dave Rubin. This is The Rubin Report. It's June 18th, 2026. We got some housekeeping to do before we begin today's program. First off, I want you to meet Bob. We realized that if I'm going to have this giant wound on my shoulder, this collarbone that is just up. So it's significantly more up than you're seeing it right now because I'm propping this so that appears that it's a little lower. But I got this big-ass thing here, and we thought, if I'm gonna have that, why don't we just name him? His name's Bob. We gave him eyes. And Bob is, because I hate Bob, and I don't want anything to do with Bob, Bob will be the progressive on The Rubin Report.
1:22It's very hard to get progressives to come on the show anymore, but Bob will be here, and Bob will occasionally chime in and say progressive things. Get a sex change. No, Bob, I don't want to. High taxes. No.
1:36You got it. That's what we're going to be doing with Bob. So Bob will be here and just chiming in every now and again. I hope that's not too distracting for anybody. And a few things. So first off, I just want to, the amount of love and support I'm getting for this freaking annoying thing. And I'm going to be in this for at least a month. And it's a couple of months of recovery. And it just blows. Like, I can't say it any other way. Like, I'm actually in a little bit of a depression right now. Like I've been feeling so good rolling into my 50th and a week and a half. And I'm just not that thrilled.
2:04But I'm happy to be doing this. It's nice to see the team and do the show and all that. But I'm just not that thrilled at the moment. I'll get past it. It's just part, you know, you go through all these stages when something annoying like this happens. It just kind of sucks. It is what it is. But you guys have given me an incredible outpouring of support. And people have recommended all kinds of things. I am with Dr. Richie Striano, who fixed my knee a year and a half ago when I blew that out playing ball. I am gonna get stem cells and do all that in about a week and a half. You have to wait for the initial, some of the inflammation to go down and your body's doing an awful lot of stuff right when you get injured.
2:36So we gotta wait a little bit. I'll do that probably the last couple days of June. And then we'll see what happens. But again, you guys have recommended all sorts of things and I'm gonna keep the diet clean and everything else. But it reminded me of a story before we get to the show today that some of you who've been with me for a while, you know that one of my, well, my first real job out of college when I was doing stand-up at night, was I was assistant manager at Electronics Boutique in Broadway Mall in Hicksville, Long Island. I don't like to brag, so I don't bring it up that often, but assistant manager, okay?
3:09And in 99, I moved more Pokemon Red than anybody. They couldn't keep it on the shelves because of me. And I don't know, I was a kid. I was basically a kid out of college, and I was like, I don't know, what am I gonna do with my, I love video games, I'll sell video games, as if that was gonna be what my life was. Anyway, I was assistant manager at Broadway Mall. I don't know, I think I was making$12 an hour actually, right out of college, if I'm not mistaken. And I remember there was a guy that was a part-time video game salesman. He was much older than me. I thought he was like an old guy. He was probably in his late 40s or 50s, and he had been in and out of jail.
3:42He had all these crazy tattoos. He was banged up. You could see everything about this guy was kind of banged up. And one night after we closed the store, we had to put up, you know, you go into video game stores, and they put up all the like cardboard cutouts. There's Sonic the Hedgehog, there's Mario, you know, whatever and we're putting up Sonic, I think it was Sonic and he's on the ladder and he's above me and I'm down there so I'm picking up all the things and he's putting them up because we're gonna put them all over the store and he reaches down and we hear a snap, just snap like rubber bands snapping and he yells and almost falls off the ladder and then he looks at me and I'll never forget it.
4:21I will never forget this. He looks at me and he goes, Dave, one day your body will betray you. And I looked at him thinking, this old bastard, what a pathetic old bastard. And here I am with eyes taped to my shoulder right now. What has happened? Get a sex change. No, no. All right. So we're going to plow through the show. I'm doing this off the meds. I'm trying not to take meds during the day so I can be somewhat cognizant and aware when I'm with you people. And again, I thank everybody. All right, let's get to, oh, there is one other thing. I'm breaking, I have one rule with my guys. I have one rule as it pertains to how you dress and how you appear when you're here day to day coming into my home, which is that you cannot wear shorts.
5:07You just can't wear shorts. I don't care, it's hot right now. It's like 95 in Miami right now, but you just can't wear shorts. But I can't, like I had to have people help me get dressed this morning. I had to, someone helped me shower. So yes, you can show the picture. I'm not naked, I am wearing shorts, I promise you. I got Viore shorts on and I did not put socks on or shoes either, so that's what's going on there. And we have a special alternate website if you'd like to pay for more images like that. Okay, let's do a show! I said to the guys, can we keep it light today because I'm banged up, I'm not feeling great.
5:42And Joseph said, okay, let's talk about mass rape. And I thought, all right, that would be nice. So we'll do some Iran stuff in just a second. But actually, this first story, I think in some sense, in some weird way is actually more important than the seeming wrapping up of the Iran war, which is that for years now, it's been happening for over a decade, there has been this British grooming scandal where mostly Pakistani Muslim men have come to England, come to Britain, and they have been raping en masse young British girls. And now it sounds like it's to the tune of 250 ,000 of these girls. This is absolutely insane.
6:27So a member of parliament by the name of Rupert Lowe just released the full inquiry on this. And let me read you a bit. It is just wild, but you'll see it's so connected. When I say this is bigger than the Iran thing, it's so connected to everything we talk about related to culture and borders and deportation and the betrayal of the left for the feminists and everything else. So let's take a look. This is from X Rees, who's a commentator on X. Survivor led inquiry by Rupert Lowe, member of parliament exposes one of the worst crimes in British history, the systematic industrial scale targeting of vulnerable white British girls by predominantly Pakistani Muslim gangs across the UK for decades.
7:08At least 250 ,000 young white girls subjected to repeated rape, gang rape, trafficking between towns, cities, torture, filming for blackmail and distribution, forced Islamic conversion, pregnancy, and lifelong trauma. This is considered a minimum. 87 % of convicted group-based CSE offenders had Muslim names. Estimates put the real figure at about 95 % Muslim. Networks were almost entirely Muslim men, overwhelmingly Pakistani. And here's how the grooming worked. Girls as young as 11 were befriended by young Muslim men who treated them like adults, supplied them alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes. They were collected in taxis from school gates, care homes, and streets, taken to houses, flats, restaurants, and hotels, then sexually abused and tortured.
7:54Every pillar of the state failed catastrophically for decades. Police ignored reports, criminalized victims instead of perpetrators, destroyed evidence, and bailed known rapists. Social services placed children in trafficking hubs inside children's homes, closed cases despite clear signs, and retaliated against whistleblowers. NHS recorded genital injuries, multiple STIs in children as young as 13, and raped pregnancies, then discharged victims back to their abusers. Schools saw older men collecting girls at the gates and heard disclosures, yet often excluded the victims rather than protecting them.
8:32Politicians, especially labor-controlled councils and the party nationally, denied knowledge, blocked or watered down inquiries, suppressed ethnicity data, and prioritized electoral support from Muslim voting box and community cohesion over child protection. Fear of being called racist, paralyzed action. Sadiq Khan, he's the mayor of London, repeatedly insisted there were no grooming gangs in London, despite metropolitan police holding reports of girls being raped by groups of men in hotels and other locations across the capital. Okay, I'll read you one other thing and then I'll comment, which is that Elon Musk retweeted that and wrote, those who knew must go to prison for a long time.
9:09Now, I just want you to think about this for a second. Let's just put aside religion and this Pakistani nationality issue and everything else. 250 ,000 girls over the course of probably a decade, a little more than a decade. It has been talked about online. Like I've mentioned it a few times on the show, Tommy Robinson, who I've had on, he's been talking about it for years and has been basically pushed out of polite society in England. There have been all sorts of people in British media who have tried to hide it. I would say including Piers Morgan, who has debated the numbers on this. 250 ,000, it could be more, right?
9:46Like we have no idea, but what an absolute betrayal, you know, to the backdrop of what is, I think, still the number one book in the world right now, thankfully, Suicidal Empathy by Gad Saad, that these people decided, oh, these poor immigrants, Muslims, brown people, we must let them in regardless of their behaviors or culture or what they might do to the host population. And they quite literally sacrifice their young girls to the most, I mean, there are stories, I didn't even wanna read some of them, like the level, it's rape in the most profoundly evil ways you can possibly think, as if just saying rape isn't bad enough.
10:23But here's Rob Finnerty on Newsmax talking about the changing demographics of Europe and why, in some sense, this is all baked in. 30 million Muslims now live in Europe. At the turn of the century, that number was less than 500 ,000 and more are arriving every day. As the people who lead these countries try to do what Joe Biden tried to do here, and that is fundamentally change the racial and ethnic makeup of a nation and make white Christians a minority in their own country. In England alone, right now, 10 major cities, including London, now have Muslim mayors in a nation that was built around the Church of England.
11:03Muslims are now running major cities across the country for the first time in history, and the English want us to believe that this is all normal. In November 2015, 130 people were killed in Paris, France, when ISIS terrorists carried out multiple attacks in one day, targeting crowded restaurants, cafes, and large crowds. The French did nothing to close their borders. In March 2016, 32 people were killed at an airport in Belgium. After an ISIS terrorist attack, they did nothing to secure their borders. In July 2016, 86 people were killed when ISIS terrorists ran down a Bastille Day crowd again in France, and they did nothing to close the border.
11:45The border stayed open after the 2017 London Bridge attack and the 2017 Manchester suicide bombing and the 2024 Christmas market attack in Germany. None of this was enough to stop or even slow the flow of radical Muslims into Western Europe. Okay, so the list goes on and on of terrorist attacks and everything else. But the reason this story is so important is if a government, in this case, the British government, if it will sacrifice its own population, like its most vulnerable young girls, will run a massive coverup because it doesn't like the political correctness issue around brown men or Muslims and or committing these crimes, then at what point is it a valid government at all?
12:35I think there's a real question there. And then as it pertains to all of the Muslim mayors in all of these places, well, look, you have to treat everybody as an individual, of course, of course. And then over time you can sort of start extracting that are there trends within these groups? And if 90 plus percent of the people who are doing this raping, and just like it's the most unimaginable stuff, like taking bottles and like opening them in their vaginas, like the most unimaginable stuff you could possibly imagine. Well then at some point there is something connected to the culture or religion or set of ideas, right?
13:14You'll do this to the dimmies, it's interesting. Why didn't they're around a lot of young Muslim girls? Why didn't they do it to them? No, they did it to the host population. But as it pertains to immigration, which is something that we're grappling with here in this country, You just have to look around the world and see what has happened. You know, we talk a lot about Lebanon right now because Lebanon is occupied by Lebanon, which used to be a Christian country. In 1970, it was 50 % Christian and more than that before then. Now it's down to 27 % and it's occupied by Hezbollah, which is a Shiite Iranian terrorist organization, like radical jihad terrorist organization.
13:52So Lebanon has fallen. Ask the Coptic Christians of Egypt how it's gone over these last couple of years, or last couple of decades. There are 50 something Muslim nations. Fact. How is it going for Christians or Jews or Baha 'i or atheists or liberal Muslims in any of those nations? Not particularly well. That is the point. So now I want to show you this video from Elon talking to the British people. really making the point that if something is not done about this, well, it will get significantly worse. You're in a fundamental situation here where, whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you.
14:38You either fight back or you die. You either fight back or you die. And that's the truth. Today, Elon, I think the British public are telling the world that they're ready to fight back. Good. Yes. Yeah. So, okay. So that was about a year ago at one of Tommy's big rallies. You either fight back or die. Now you might say, boy, that sounds mean and scary. And remember, it's like, but it's actually true. Why do we have sovereign nations? Why do we have borders? Why do we have walls? Why is the United States different than Canada? Right? It's to protect a certain set of values. In the case of the United States, I would say it's without question the best set of ideas for human flourishing, which as I always say is why none of the people who endlessly bitch and moan about this place ever leave.
15:34The only two people, no, I think three lesbians left and they all came, wait, who was the third one? We got Rosie left, she went to Ireland, couldn't take it over there anymore because it's been Islamized. Ellen DeGeneres left, she went to the UK, she's back. Was there a third lesbo? Let me get a third lesbo who's done the trip and come back to this guy. What other lesbians are there? Paula Poundstone? She's, who? Patricia Heisman. Patricia Heisman, never heard of her, apparently a lesbian who left and came back. Okay, good to know. Now it's interesting though, because you watch Elon say that, and the real question that I think everybody asks about not only this Islamism or jihad problem, but also about progressive policies as they institute communism and big government and they take away from people and they brainwash young people and all these things is, when will people hit rock bottom?
16:25Like, when does it ever hit rock bottom that enough people wake up? And the thing is, I don't know that there's a rock bottom in some sense. It seemingly is just getting worse. Maybe I'm a little depressed because of my shoulder. We'll try to bring it around at the end. But people have been warning about this stuff for years. Elon saying fight now or it'll be too late. Well, the great Christopher Hitchens in the early 2000s. This is about 20 years ago. Here's Christopher Hitchens talking about, well, you get it. Well, chap, let's give it up or give it to your deadliest enemy and pay for the rope that will choke you.
17:02This is very urgent business, ladies and gentlemen. I beseech you. Resist it while you still can and before the right to complain is taken away from you, which will be the next thing. You will be told you can't complain. Because you're Islamophobic. The term is already being introduced into the culture, as if it was an accusation of race hatred, for example, or bigotry, whereas it's only the objection to the preachings of a very extreme and absolutist religion. Watch out for these symptoms. They are not just symptoms of surrender, very often ecumenically offered to you by men of God in other robes, Christian and Jewish and smarmy ecumenical.
17:41These are the ones who hold open the gates for the barbarians. The barbarians never take a city until someone holds the gates open for them. And it's your own preachers who will do it for you, and your own multicultural authorities who will do it for you. Resist it while you can. I love that line. The barbarians never take the city until someone holds the door open. You know, I often quote Douglas Murray that one day the barbarians will be at the gate and we'll be debating what gender pronouns to call them. It's the same idea. And what's interesting about Christopher Hitchens is you can't say, oh, he's some radical right winger or he's some Christian nationalist or any of these ridiculous things.
18:20He was an atheist. He was a liberal atheist who came around to realizing, I think ultimately, probably if he was around right now, he would be in the same, well, he'd be in the same boat as radical Dave Rubin and Tommy Robinson and Donald Trump and every other sane person. Now, as I said, the question really is what, when will they hit rock bottom? And will these countries do anything? So you would think that if you're in the UK right now, you were just the average person and you're waking up and you're having your tea and crumpets and you're sitting there and you go, what a beautiful day it is.
18:52And oh my God, I've just read this report of 250 ,000 girls who've been mass raped by these Pakistani Muslims. Maybe we should, honey, honey, call old Fritz and let's go do something about it. You might think that they would do something about it. The question is, will they? Will any political leader have the fortitude to start deporting people and actually do something? I don't know, but here is at least a slightly encouraging sign. This is from the European Union. Breaking, the European Union has just passed a measure to surge mass deportations across the region. It's officially law of the EU.
19:30Okay, so the European Union, which got everybody into this mess, right? Why did the UK, why did Britain leave? What was Brexit about? Britain leaving the European Union, it was because they were sick of what was happening to them related to immigration and culture and everything else. Well now finally the EU that has caused all of this, the millions of people that have fled into these countries that are taking over these countries, now they're gonna do mass deportations. But okay, are they really gonna do it? You think the French army's gonna be out on the street dealing with all, and it's not just the illegals.
20:02There are now people there who are legal and we have this problem in the United States. We have members of Congress. Rashida Tlaib would be at the top, but Ilhan Omar and others, who are supporters of terrorist organizations, right? That's not good, but they are legal. I suppose they are legal citizens of the United States, although Ilhan Omar did marry her brother and there's an issue there, which maybe we'll deal with, maybe we won't. But we better, in America, we have a better situation. Our demographics are better. We're born out of revolution. We are armed. The numbers are just better favoring us, but we'll see what England does.
20:35But one of the guys from an American perspective who's been raising the alarm about this, I think he's an absolute all-star who more people should know, is Texas Representative Brandon Gill. He's actually Dinesh D'Souza's son-in-law. He married Dinesh's daughter. And here he is talking about what's been happening in places like Texas of all. Now, the Trump administration, I believe, recognizes these basic truths that not all cultures are equal and not all cultures are equally compatible with our way of life or our governing system. WE HAVE A PROBLEM IN THE UNITED STATES AS WELL. THAT IS SOMETHING THAT WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH NOW BECAUSE IF WE DON'T OUR CHILDREN AND OUR GRANDCHILDREN ARE GOING TO BE DEALING WITH IT.
21:12YOU HAVE SEEN WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE DFW METROPLEX WHERE YOU HAVE SEEN MASS ISLAMIC MIGRATION TRANSFORMING COMMUNITIES RIGHT HERE IN PLACES THAT YOU WOULDN'T OTHERWISE EXPECT. AGAIN, THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IF WE DON'T STOP NOW, IT IS GOING TO BE MY DAUGHTER AND DAUGHTERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY WHO ARE GOING to public schools wearing burqas. And that's the kind of stuff that we want to stop. Yeah, you know, it's interesting. I mean, there you have a young Republican congressman from Texas repeating exactly what British atheist, in some sense, lefty Christopher Hitchens was saying 20 years ago, because things have consistently gotten worse across the board, certainly in Europe and in the United States to some extent.
21:56So is Brandon Gill a racist for saying that? Is he a bigot for saying that? He wants America to remain liberal in the best sense, a liberal democracy that it has been, right? That would care for individual rights and that you wouldn't throw girls under the bus in the name of tolerance or whatever else it might be. And there's another guy that's been talking about this for quite some time. Here's Donald Trump 10 years ago. Do you think Islam is at war with the West? I think Islam hates us. There's something there that there's a tremendous hatred there. There's a tremendous hatred. We have to get to the bottom of it.
22:37There is an unbelievable hatred of us. In Islam itself? You're going to have to figure that out, okay? You'll get another Pulitzer, right? But you're going to have to figure that out. But there is a tremendous hatred. And we have to be very vigilant. We have to be very careful. And we can't allow people coming into this country who have this hatred of the United States. I guess the question is. And of people that are not Muslim. I guess the question is, is there a war between the West and radical Islam? Or is there a war between the West and Islam? It's radical, but it's very hard to define. It's very hard to separate because you don't know who's who.
23:17Yes, Trump was completely right there. And although Anderson Cooper was not terrible in that interview. Anderson, you are a big flaming homo. And I wonder how it would be if you were living in a Muslim nation, there's 52 of them. How would it go for you living in any of those 52 nations? Not that well. So in some sense, it doesn't matter if it's radical. I mean, Gad Saad has talked about this for years. It doesn't matter if it's radical Islam or Islam. It doesn't mean that your neighbor who's a Muslim, who's nominal Muslim, is a mean person, of course not. And again, you should always judge people as individuals, but when you start looking at the sum totality of something, a religion that literally translates into submit, and then is doing bad things in the host countries.
23:57When they run a country, it's not good for, they don't allow anyone else to practice their beliefs. And then they come to all these countries and they proselytize their beliefs. When we were in Australia, in many corners of big cities that we went to, Melbourne and Brisbane, there are Muslims on the corners trying to convert people. How come there aren't a lot of Christians and Jews in Chad and Algeria and in Syria that are standing on corners going, would you like to watch Seinfeld with me or something? They're not. What does that mean? I don't know. Think about it for a second. And if, although this isn't a real, it's a real segue to my elbow or my shoulder, I would say, which is that let's talk about relief factor for a moment.
24:35You know, just last Saturday, I got injured. I don't know if you heard about it. Oh, by the way, I took Bob off. 25:41Make sure she gets whatever she wants for lunch. Guys, for a limited time, you can get their three-week quick start for just$17.76. It's ready for you right now. Visit relieffactor.com or call 1-800-4-RELIEF. That's some good work over there. Okay, so now let's jump back to what's going on, obviously, with the war that is seemingly wrapping up, at least for now. And I do have to say, in that, because of my shoulder, I've tried to just stay, I'm trying not to endlessly doom scroll, and I'm just watching everybody that, before even the Memorandum of Understanding came out, or things were leaking out, and people were screaming on both sides, and people who were saying one thing last week, we're taking the complete opposite position now and everything else.
26:21I'm taking this all with a grain of salt. And as I said, Trump and Rubio and these people who have done this, who are in charge right now, I think they deserve a little bit of our trust. I'm not gonna sit here and tell you, I read the whole thing this morning and it's not great. I don't think it's great. It seems like we are conceding an awful lot and Iran is not conceding much. And generally when you're the loser in a war, you'd make more concessions, right? When World War II ended, it was unconditional surrender. Germany didn't make demands on the US at the end. Japan didn't make the end. They said, please, please, we're done, we're done.
26:55We don't wanna be hit anymore. That's not really what's happening here. So I don't think this thing is great, but I also think that they deserve our trust at some level, Trump and the administration, and we will see. So let me just put a pin in that for a moment. Here's Trump arriving at the G7 and at least making the point that, But yeah, the US is still in charge.
27:23Hello. I'm the boss. How are you? I'm good, thank you. You're good.
27:37Yeah, all right, so I'm the boss. And whether you love this thing, whether you hate this thing or anything else, it's obvious is that the US is still in charge. And that's in stark contrast to where we were only two years ago. You remember this, it's about 20 seconds. I don't think there's any audio on it. This was at the G7 two years ago. Remember this when this paraglider came down and look at them, they're all applauding him and looking and seeing what's going on. And Biden started wandering off. It was in Italy and now you're gonna see Giorgio Marloni is like, what's happening to this guy?
28:04Oh, nobody look at me, I've got my hands clapped. Let's, why don't you? Yes, just over there, old man. Okay, fine. So again, that's a sidebar from whether you like what's going on here or not. But that the US is in charge again, right? That I think you can unequivocally say is true. Here's a video of Trump signing the peace memorandum.
28:38All right, now I'm gonna give you an abbreviated, condensed version of what is in this thing. We'll try to do this real quick. Permanent ceasefire, this is from the New York Post, permanent ceasefire, end the war immediately and permanently, including in Lebanon, with neither side attacking or threatening the other. Now, the weird thing about including Lebanon in this is that Hezbollah, if they just wanna shoot rockets over, Israel obviously is gonna respond. So I don't know how that one really is even included. It's a separate thing than U.S. and Iran, but okay. Mutual sovereignty, the U.S. and Iran agree not to interfere in each other's internal affairs, okay.
29:10Final agreement timeline, negotiate a comprehensive final deal within 60 days unless both sides agree to extend. Okay, that's what negotiations are. End naval pressure. The U.S. begins lifting its naval blockade immediately, fully removes it within 30 days, and later pulls forces away from Iran. So that's obviously about the Strait of Hormuz and that we're going to let their oil get out. Here's a little bit more on that. Reopen shipping routes. Iran ensures safe commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and works on a long-term governance arrangement for the waterway. Okay, massive reconstruction aid.
29:40So this one's a little strange. The US and partners commit to creating a$300 billion economic development and reconstruction package. Now the question here is, is the US funding this thing or is it gonna be Gulf states? Trump is saying we're not going to. Gulf states are saying maybe they will. My guess is ultimately it'll be a little bit of both. Now, just come back to me for one sec. I saw a lot of people that were not happy with that one in particular. It's like if we won the war, Why would you then fund reconstruction? Unless it was, let's say, a complete and utter surrender, again, Germany, Japan, World War II, where then you could go in and say, wow, you've come to all of our terms, so now we will help you rebuild because we're gonna be allies.
30:21This one does seem a little bit odd, but what I would say here is maybe what Trump is doing is basically saying, hey, we will facilitate, whether it's our money, whether it's the Gulf states, we will facilitate rebuilding of your country. And as long as you play ball with us, well, then your country will be rebuilt and it's gonna be very hard to do without us, right? So we will allow some of these funds to go to you. And so it's sort of a bribery for peace. That's the way I would put it. Speaking of briberies for peace, here's a bit on the sanctions. The US agrees to eliminate all major sanctions on Iran, including UN and US sanctions, according to a negotiated schedule.
30:59I mean, again, that seems to me like a bit of bribery. It's like, you will get more money if you behave. Have they decided to not call America the great Satan? And are they gonna treat their people better and everything else? I'm not so sure of that. But again, it's an effort, let's say. Nuclear restrictions, this seems like the big one. Iran pledges not to develop nuclear weapons and agrees to address enriched uranium stockpiles under international supervision. So again, as I said yesterday, I don't know that any of this means anything post-Trump presidency, right? The Democrats will come in and they would help them build nuclear reactors.
31:33So it's like, I don't know what that is. And can we trust the UN or some third party to actually get whatever nuclear material that's still there out? I don't know, is there, and will Trump, let's say they are like, you know what, we're not agreeing to this. Three months from now, is Trump really gonna say, okay, I'm going back to military action right before an election? These are all the complexities of doing these things. Then the next one, freeze current situation. Until a final deal is reached, Iran freezes its nuclear program at current levels while the U.S. imposes no new sanctions of military buildup.
32:06All right, that seems straightforward. Allow Iranian oil exports. The U.S. immediately grants waivers so Iran can sell oil and conduct related financial transactions. Again, in some sense, that's a little bit of bribery, right? It's like you guys can sell your oil again. Release frozen assets. The U.S. makes Iran's frozen funds and assets accessible for Iran's use. So we've frozen all of this money that technically is their money, and now they will have access to that. Again, these all seem fine as points of pressure and bribery. You're going to get lots of money. The question is, will they keep up any end of their bargain?
32:38Will they stop funding terror? There's nothing about them being nicer to their people. Will they stop building nukes and everything like that? It's a lot of trust that we're offering them. But speaking of trust, compliance monitoring. Create a joint mechanism to oversee implementation and ensure both sides follow the agreement. All right, maybe. Maybe we can figure out something. Conditional final negotiations, broader negotiations proceed only after key ceasefire shipping oil and asset release provisions start being implemented. So basically there's stages of this thing. UN backing the final agreement will be formally endorsed by a binding UN security resolution.
33:15Again, I don't know if that means anything. The UN is largely useless and mostly a jihadist organization. So okay, there's something. Here is Trump taking a question from Peter Doocy. And I thought this was quite a good question on how he is going to sell this as a win. How do you go back to the United States and convince a skeptical American public that this deal is a win? Well, look, here they lost militarily, okay? It's very tough because I know that no matter what, if I would go, by the way, if I'd go another three or four weeks, the same people that are critical would say, he went too long, he should have done, you know, no matter what.
33:53If they raise the white flag of surrender, And if they said, praise be to Allah, Donald Trump is the greatest president ever. We totally concede. We totally give up. This war is over. We have failed. The New York Times and CNN and a couple of others are not all that dishonest. They say Iran had a great victory. OK. But what this does is it allows the ships to go. If we keep bombing, those ships won't be going. And you're talking about$500,$600,$700 million a day. It's a lot of money. A lot of money. That's why the world is okay. It's liquid. It's fine. Also, we run out of reserves in about four weeks.
34:36You know, there are reserves all over the world. And we would really run out. And there would be a time when you wouldn't be able to get it. And you want to see Bedlam? So for all those so-called geniuses that want to show me how smart they are, ask them why didn't they blow up General Soleimani. Okay, so there's a couple of things. Trump's obviously completely right on, no matter what he was going to do here one way or another. You end it today, they call him weak and he's a taco. What is it, Trump always came, something like that? And if he let go three more weeks and got a win, they'd say it went too far.
35:06So I fully accept that. I also, this is again, Trump where he's at his best when he's answering honestly off the cuff. This idea that we were gonna run out of oil reserves in four weeks, how this continued, I don't understand how that makes sense. And I think maybe he misspoke there. we're trying to check right now, because we get virtually none of our energy. Yeah, I mean, you're checking on Grok, or were you checking? Yeah, so we're checking on Grok right now. We wouldn't run out in four weeks. We get virtually none of our energy, and we are drilling again, and we have access to Venezuelan oil.
35:36So I don't know if he slightly misspoke there or whatever else. But basically, in essence, what he's saying is, look, we got the military win, and that is true, right? Their military is completely destroyed. Their Navy's gone. There was complete air superiority in like two days and everything else. And now we're in the negotiation phase, which mostly is kind of bribery. So here's Trump talking about how our, in essence he's saying our version of bribery will be better than what Obama did. What Obama did was he did the JCPOA, he loaded up a plane with$1 ,700 ,000 ,000 in green cash from banks all over Washington, in Maryland and Virginia.
36:20They were stripped of all their cash. They had no cash to do payrolls. It all went into a Boeing 757, a wonderful plane, and they flew it to Iran. And they gave it out to people. They bribed people. They thought they were going to get it done. Then they gave billions and billions of dollars after that. And they got a deal that was a road to a nuclear weapon. I get so angry, I guess. I'm allowed to get angry when I watch the Democrats. They talk about it all the time. We had this deal done. You had a deal that was gonna give them, legally, a nuclear weapon. Okay, so this is where I will, for all the good that Trump has done and for the trust that I think that this administration deserves, I will go with him here, right?
37:07Like, I don't know any more than you do, but I will go with him here that at least for the time that Donald Trump is president, that Iran is not gonna get a nuclear weapon, that there will be a threat of force, that we will be bribing them in essence to behave better. And I just don't understand that they'll, everyone keeps saying, well, they'll never get a nuclear weapon. And that just makes no sense to me. Like administrations come, administrations go. And we just know the Democrats will be far closer to the IRGC and to jihadists in general than Donald Trump. So we'll see after that. But I basically, again, I just can't freak out over this.
37:46And I don't think you should freak out over it either, even if it's not the perfect ending to all this. I also think, as I said from the beginning of this thing months ago, that this seems to me to be the beginning of the end of conventional warfare, like armies invading, giant air forces, huge bombs. Warfare is going to significantly change. It's gonna be a lot closer to Star Wars with robot soldiers and drones and lasers. And they're eventually, I mean, I guarantee you, Israel will eventually build a force field like they had on Naboo. If you're doing, if you can do a prequel reference for me, like things are gonna change so fundamentally that for anyone that's going, oh, this isn't perfect or whatever.
38:25Like it's, I think it's just the wrapping up of one version of things, this last 80 years of post-World War II stuff. So anyway, let's leave that there. We'll have a bit more on reality and why you must wake up as opposed to being woke. But first, Angel Studios. In a world where everything seems to cost more and deliver less, Angel's doing something pretty special for America's 250th birthday. Right now, you can become a premium Angel Guild member for just$15 a month, normally 20 bucks, and with that price locked in for an entire year. Here's what you get. Two free tickets to see Young Washington in theaters on Independence Day, access to Angel's entire streaming library, and tickets to every future Angel theatrical release.
39:07So if you're planning to see Young Washington anyway, you've already come out ahead. And I think Young Washington's exactly the kind of movie worth supporting. It's the story of George Washington before he became president. It's about a young man facing failure, uncertainty, and enormous challenges before becoming one of the most important figures in American history. What's refreshing, of course, is that in this film, it's not interested in apologizing for America's existence. It's interested in understanding the people and ideas that helped build it. And beyond Young Washington, you'll get access to Angel's entire streaming library, including films like Homestead, Green and Gold, The Last Rodeo, Something to Stand For with Mike Rowe, and an upcoming theatrical slate that's incredibly impressive.
39:45If you're looking for a meaningful way to celebrate America's 250th, this is a great place to start. Go to angel.com slash Rubin and become a premium Angel Guild member today. All right, so to kind of tie everything together today, Trump was right 10 years ago. I love showing you the 40 years ago, talking about Iran and nukes, but Trump was right 10 years ago when he was talking about an invasion. He was talking about culture and religion that doesn't vibe with Western values. It's just a fact he was right about it. Interestingly, Christopher Hitchens, again, a liberal atheist was right 20 years ago when he was talking about it.
40:21So often what happens, one of the lines that everyone always says now is that a conservative is just a liberal mugged by reality. You have to kind of drag these people to the truth. Now, interestingly, as you know, over the last couple of years, I've been trying my best to whatever extent that I can to bring Bill Maher over for his last bit of wake up. Well, I thought this was super interesting. Bill Maher went on Howie Mandel's podcast. I like both of these guys a lot. Really like them a lot. But Howie is definitely, and I did his podcast, And he definitely still takes these crazy, I would say confused leftist positions that he doesn't exactly know what he's talking about, but he just feels that there is systemic racism or he feels that Donald Trump is awful or all these things, but he doesn't have anything to back it.
41:07So now watch this. Here is Bill Maher now doing to Howie Mandel what Larry Elder famously did to me a decade ago. How many people do you think the police shoot a year? I don't know. See, so you're talking out of your ass. Well, tell me. 1 ,000. They shoot about 1 ,000 people a year. Okay. How many of that are white people? Tell me. So, again, we're having this discussion, but you're so sure of yourself you don't even know the stats. But why does that stat affect me? Because you're talking about how much you have to worry. Okay. They shoot about 1 ,000 people a year, right? Right. Now, in a country of 340 million people, a lot of whom are crazy and a lot of whom are armed.
41:54I don't know if that's like a ridiculous number. There are some people the police do have to shoot. What percentage are white? Three quarters. More white. Wow. But since blacks are only 14 % of the population, that's almost twice the percentage of what it would be. Right. Okay. So there's a problem. There's a problem. But police also have many more encounters with black people. So you have to figure in all these things. OK, so this is pretty wild. So there you have two liberal Hollywood guys. But Bill is now taking the position of the sort of conservative, right, or the red-pilled one. Basically, like, do you have any stats to back up any of the things that you're saying?
42:45And Howie just has none. Now, I like Howie, right? If you're watching today, I like it. This is not a knock on you. I had a wake-up moment very similar to this, and it was great for me personally and for my career and everything else because I went towards the truth. So just with that, what you just watched in your mind right here, let's throw back 10 years ago, me and Larry Elder. Give me the most blatant racist example you can come up with right now. I think you could probably find evidence that in general, cops are more willing to shoot if the perpetrator is black than white. What's your basis for saying that?
43:25Well, look, I know a lot of people would say, look what's going on in Chicago. I know what they would say. I'm talking about what the facts are. 965 people were shot by cops last year and killed. 4 % of them were white cops shooting unarmed blacks. In Chicago in 2011, 21 people were shot and killed by cops. In 2015, there were seven. In Chicago, which is a third black, a third white, and a third Hispanic, 70 % of the homicides are black on black. About 40 per month, almost 500 per year, last year in Chicago, and 75 % of them are unsolved. Where is the Black Lives Matter on that? The idea that a racist white cop shooting unarmed black people is a peril to black people is BS.
44:06It's complete and total BS. I mean, talk about a blast from the past. You know, it's a little hard for me to watch those videos. because I was actually pretty sick at the time I was dealing with that crazy alopecia thing and on all this crazy medication, so it's hard for me to kind of look at myself. But that moment I always describe to people as my best and worst career moment at the exact same time. It was my worst career moment because I got into a debate with a guy who was ready with facts, and I wasn't ready, so that was obviously why it was my worst. And it was my best because right after that, we were at Aura TV at the time, there were a bunch of producers, and I walked right, it wasn't live streamed, it was live to tape, and I walked back into the control room and a couple of people were like, Dave, we're not gonna air that or we're gonna cut that portion out.
44:45And I just remember, I was just like, no, if I'm anything decent or if I care about the truth at all, we have to air it as is. And then the next day it went up and I saw it getting clipped and it was getting millions of views and black conservative destroys white libtard and all of that stuff. But I began my journey, right? I began the journey that I think has led to everything else over these last 10 years. So anyway, the reason I'm showing you that is, and the reason I'm trying to connect it to what we talked about earlier is Christopher Hitchens was telling the truth 20 years ago. Larry Elder was telling the truth 10 years ago.
45:16Donald Trump was telling the truth 10 years ago. Bill Maher would have never said what he said on this podcast 10 years ago. He's getting there. So the question is maybe we need enough people, or not the question, the point would be that we need enough people to wake up now. How about for all of the people that are gonna wake up in 10 years? Well, what did Brandon Gill say before? He doesn't want his children to have to deal with this nonsense. And that's really where we should be at with all of this stuff. Like, let's start dealing with this stuff honestly and seriously. And then we could go from there.
45:52I do want to add one more thing quickly, which is that I retweeted that, or I tweeted out that clip, and Larry Elder even corrected Bill a little bit just for some specifics. He wrote, thanks, Dave, but Bill said the police shoot 1 ,000 people every year. No, they shoot more. They shoot and kill 1 ,000 people every year. He also said 75 % of those shot and killed are white. No, it's 50 % white, 25 % black, and the rest, other or race undetermined. But he made the important point about Mandel, like so many others on his topic of alleged police brutality and misconduct, have strong but ill-informed opinions.
46:23So bravo, Bill. So it doesn't matter whether Bill got every specific number right there and Larry cleaned it up a little bit. That is not the point. The point is that we can wake people up. We can bring them to the truth and we should do our best to consider, to keep doing it, otherwise at the end of the day, it actually will be our children who will pay for it. Do you wanna do a couple questions? Should we do a couple questions? I think I can do it. My arm is killing me. All right, hold on, let me, here. I'm gonna throw to an ad for OmniWatch. I'm gonna move my arm a little bit and then we got a couple questions from the locals community.

48:09All right, we'll do a couple of Ruben Report. local's questions, and then I'm going to sit in a bacta tank. Anyone get the reference? Anyone get the reference? Anyone get the reference? Empire Strikes Back. Thank you, Connor. Elizabeth says, if you had to be stuck in a cartoon for a week, what show would you choose? I mean, I guess it would be, if I was stuck in a cartoon, I mean, I think probably peak Simpsons years to just be around all of that great stuff, like those, you know, seasons four to nine Simpsons, probably that. You know, the kids, we don't do a lot of TV around here. Right now we're doing Gigantosaurus.
48:44He's really enormous. You know this guy, Gigantosaurus, he's really enormous. Yeah, he's on Netflix. If you wanna check him out, I could do some stuff with him, I guess. And we're doing a little bit, I don't wanna show them too much because it can be a little violent at times, although it's very cartoony, is the original G1 Transformers that I grew up with from 1984. And we're doing, oh, there you go, look at you. You were one step ahead of me on that. Yeah, so we're doing a little bit of that. and one thing that Justin doesn't understand, he gets the idea that the Autobots are the good guys and the Decepticons are the bad guys.
49:14He can't understand why Megatron and Starscream are always fighting if they're both Decepticons. And I had to explain to him that bad guys often have infighting. But I love showing them that stuff. I tried, you know, because the Masters of the Universe movies out, which I really would love to go see, but I don't know if I can sit in the theater right now. I tried to do one episode of the original He-Man. Can you throw up an original He-Man, Master of the Universe? and that was like probably 1983. I tried to do one episode with them and Skeletor was a little scary, so they weren't into that. We'll get a picture of Skeletor in just a sec.
49:47Robert says, JD was with everyone yesterday and he has the stamina for Trump. Do you think this was an opportunity to get him out there to articulate the concepts of what is going on with the Iran deal more than a book tour? Oh, for sure. I mean, I think he's doing a little something for the book tour, but he was everywhere over the last two days. He was on a million different shows, but I also think it's what Trump said. I think we played the clip of it yesterday. Trump basically was like, look, if this thing doesn't work out, it's on JD. And if it does work out, I'm taking the credit. And you could see Marco back there like, hello, hello, what about me?
50:20So yeah, I would say overall, JD had a, I would say he had a couple minor flubs that were a little strange. He said a few things that were a little bizarre. But overall, I think he's an unbelievably effective communicator. We played all those clips of The View yesterday. He has a good ability to be present in the moment and not give you just rehash stock lines. And I think in some sense, Trump is, this is what Trump's doing. I'm telling you right now, Trump is going to want a contested convention. He's not just handing it to JD. So this is a little test. Well, JD, you're more of the isolationist.
50:52Well, we'll wrap this thing up the way you want, but okay, now it's attached to you. It's less attached to Marco who wanted to stay. That's what everyone's saying, or Hegseth who wanted to stay. So we'll see where it all shakes out. But Vinay says, hope you recover from your injury soon. Is the trip to London still on? So we're supposed to go on Sunday to the annual ARC conference in London. Obviously, because of his health, Jordan Peterson won't be there, but they're continuing the conference. And I'm supposed to be doing more than I've ever done before. A couple of things on the main stage, some other stuff.
51:20We're gonna do some live shows there. I don't know. I said to Phoenix this morning, I'm 50-50 right now, and there's only a 10 % chance of that. I don't know that I can be on a plane for that long. I can't dress myself at the moment. It's pretty rough and I really want this thing to heal as quickly as possible. I don't wanna be off the grid with one arm. So we'll decide in the next day or so. So I'm just not sure yet. Chipster said, do you think the terms of the agreement include independent verification that all funds for Iran's reconstruction are gonna benefit the country and not the IRGC? I mean, I sort of referenced that when I was reading it.
51:56I don't know. and what kind of, who do we trust? Who do we trust? Are the people in charge really in charge? Like, do you trust that the UN is going to be tracking the money or some other third party or, no, it's the US or bust. And again, I will grant Trump and this administration enough of a leash here to be like, yeah, I'll trust that you guys will track this properly. But that doesn't mean the day they are out, or even worse, if the Republicans lose the midterms and Trump's lame duck. Iran will do whatever the high hell it wants to do. So I don't trust any of it, but it's where we're at. That just is.
52:36How about some real politics for you? Glenn says, how long do you want your show to keep going the way it's set up now? Do you anticipate any technological advancements that could lead you to change how your show is presented? You wanna show the foot thing again? I mean, we could just do the foot cam all the time. It could just be, you know, we've got little googly-eyed Bob over here. or he could check in every now and again. We could do smell-o-vision, which we are working on. You know, I don't know, as I always say to the guys, I wanna lead on everything, right? We're working on a bunch of AI stuff right now.
53:06We just got new cameras. We have literally the state-of-the-art cameras that we have in here, so there's a little more depth in the studio now, and it changed some of the lighting things. We've built many studios. I always, as long as I'm doing this, I don't mind, I am actually happy to always put money back into it so that it can look better and be better and we can be on the front end of all this. The last thing that I ever want to see is when I'm looking on Instagram and I see someone that's doing something similar and I'm like, oh, that's better than what we do or why does that look better or whatever.
53:36I always want to match that and go above it. So I don't know. I'm open to ideas. Maybe we've got the slider camera, which we don't use the slide that often, but we do have a slider here for a little motion. Are we able to do something right now or is that? Can't do the slider right now. But that camera does slide. There are things that we're always talking about, but I'm open to ideas. If you've got some ideas. I was thinking, I don't want to do it yet, but I was thinking one day, because the wearable thing will eventually hit. If I was wearing glasses interviewing somebody and the camera was right here and you could literally see them and maybe they were wearing them too and you would see me, that might be an interesting way of just adding another element.
54:12Could be kind of annoying too, so maybe it would just be a fifth camera on a normal four-camera shoot, something like that. So we'll see. All right. I am going to soak my arm in Epsom salt and then ice it and perhaps eat a little something. I thank you guys for watching. We'll do a quick post-game show, rubinreport.locals.com. Thanks for watching, everybody.

Dave Rubin of "The Rubin Report" talks about Elon Musk's controversial reaction to the release of the UK inquiry detailing shocking alleged child sex exploitation by organized grooming gangs in 149 local authority areas and the cover-up that allowed it to go on for so long and could end Keir Starmer's political career; Newsmax's Rob Finnerty detailing the damage done to England, France, and Germany by allowing unchecked mass immigration of radical Islamists into their societies; Rep. Brandon Gill telling Fox News' Will Cain about the dangers of mass Muslim migration into the U.S. and how it could fundamentally change the West if nothing is done to stop it; Donald Trump stunning all the members of the G7 summit by announcing, "I'm the boss," before signing the Iran peace deal; Fox News' Peter Doocy being surprised by Donald Trump's brutally honest answer about how the American mainstream media will report on the success of the Iran peace deal; Bill Maher destroying Howie Mandel's repetition of baseless Black Lives Matter talking points about police shootings and stunning him with the actual facts he's never bothered to research; and much more. Dave also hosts a special "ask me anything" question-and-answer session on a wide range of topics, answering questions from the Rubin Report Locals community.
