In short
The host argues mainstream media (especially the New York Times) “laundered” misinformation, citing coverage of Joe Biden’s alleged diminished mental capacity and now claiming the media will pivot to similar “cheap fakes” narratives about Donald Trump. The episode also attacks left-wing politicians and media figures over alleged fraud, immigration framing, and institutional credibility, and discusses affordability, auto policy, and AI/energy.
Guests (named)
Scott Bessent (appears in a New York Times–hosted media summit conversation moderated by Andrew Sorkin). Andrew Sorkin (moderator). No other guests are interviewed on-air in the transcript.
Guest backgrounds
Scott Bessent is presented as a finance/economic figure; Andrew Sorkin is described as a New York Times journalist/moderator.
Key claims
NYT and other outlets covered up Biden’s diminished capacity; current coverage about Trump’s health is framed as hypocritical. “Cheap fakes” and selectively edited RNC-linked videos are said to be used without independent fact-checking. Minnesota Somali-related claims are portrayed as false by officials, with alleged fraud and criminal cases used as counterexamples.
Notable examples
NYT June 6, 2019 YouTube-algorithm “alt-right” front page; NYT Nov 25 (Trump aging schedule analysis); Biden “healthy and vigorous” physical (Nov 2021); Minnesota Somali “no roving gangs” denial contradicted by a “roving Somali gang” clip; cited rape case involving Abdi Mahat Billy Muhammad; Gavin Newsom “testicles/lizard” rant segment; Trump auto/EV policy and car-loan interest deduction; Jensen Huang crediting Trump for keeping AI computing power in the US.

1:45I just got the big, I got the big one. Got the big phone, got the big phone. Finding it a little glitchy. Where's Steve Jobs when you need him? We also have an Android app, all that good stuff. And we're gonna catch up on some of the news mostly focused on what we've really, I mean, it's sort of what we're always focused on here, but what we've really focused in on this week, just sort of the disconnect between the mainstream media and reality. So let's just dive right in. There's a big media summit happening right now via the New York Times. And obviously I am no big fan of the New York Times.
2:17I think in most respects, it is kind of the epicenter of misinformation and disinformation and malinformation and all of those things. But they've got this guy, Andrew Sorkin, over there, who I actually don't think is terrible. And he's moderating a whole bunch of discussions. And he had Scott Besson on yesterday. And they got into the legitimacy of the once credible newspaper. The question is, how should we... This is like a new normal. Is this a new normal? Andrew, there's no new normal. And I can tell you that I actually don't read the New York Times anymore. But sometimes I do watch CNBC, but occasionally people send me articles.
3:03And there's just this fever swamp. And you're now a pop historian with 1929. And in 20, 30, 40, 50 years, the New York Times is no longer the paper of record. You can't go. You know, I read this article like President Trump is slowing down President Trump's mental capacity. It is 100 percent fake that he only called me twice at two in the morning last week instead of three times. You're saying he called you. I believe that he called you. OK, so first off, I just love the fact that Besson goes to a New York Times conference and there's value in these people still showing up at these things. There's always the debate like, do you talk to these guys?
3:43Do you ignore them? All that. Okay, fine, they're having a big conference. You go and you sit there and you literally say, I don't even read your paper anymore. And we can go through, you guys know the list, the endless list of lies that the New York Times has put out there. As a matter of fact, oh, oh, well, look at what we have here. As you guys know, I keep this on the wall in the studio. It's a little heavy, but it's one of my proudest moments. This is, what was the date on this bad boy again? This was June 6th, 2019 front page cover story on the New York Times. about how YouTube, we got a little glare there, about how YouTube algorithms were forcing people to become alt-right, making of a YouTube radical, algorithms of the alt-right.
4:26And yeah, pre-beard Dave Rubin, he was a real radical, turning people into white supremacists. I now have this up here as a badge of honor. I mean, they lie about literally everything, very fine people on both sides, Russia, Russia, Russia, all of the COVID lies, the censorship, all of it. One of the things that they also covered up quite extensively was Joe Biden's mental acuity. However, listen to this from about a week ago in the New York Times, November 25th to be precise. Shorter days, signs of fatigue. Trump faces realities of aging in office. Still nearly a year into his second term, Americans see Mr.
5:05Trump less than they used to, according to a New York Times analysis of his schedule. Mr. Trump has fewer public events on his schedule and is traveling domestically much less than he did at this point during his first year in office in 2017, although he is taking more foreign trips. Mr. Trump has long rambled in his speeches during his 2024 campaign, and in his second term, the meandering has often been noticeable. I mean, fuck you, New York Times. Like, just go fuck yourself. You're a bunch of fucking fucktards. That'll be it for the F-bombs for today. Like it's so inexcusable. It's so boring.
5:40It's actually boring that you do this nonsense. You ran cover for a man that we know was completely incapacitated. Even before he took office, I was doing videos about his mental condition, okay? It was a massive coverup. We have no idea if he knew what the auto pen was even doing, if he was in meetings. There's all sorts of evidence that they were, I mean, many people have talked about this. Mike Johnson specifically has talked about how they were literally hiding him to make sure he wasn't going into meetings. We know about the note cards he had and everything else. And you guys ran cover for that for years.
6:13And now you're pretending that Donald Trump, who has been bouncing all over the world, doing incredible things, incredible things, you're pretending that he is slowing down. That's the problem. Now, is it possible? I'm gonna give the devil his due. I don't know why I keep doing this. Is it possible he has slowed down just a bit at what? What is he, 79 years old? That actually is possible. and can you make an argument that generally speaking, we should try to have presidents that are maybe more so in their 50s and 60s, somebody that's had a kind of nice career, raised a family and in a slightly different part of life, but still has a little more youth and vigor.
6:49There's an argument for that. Does Trump buck the trend of what an average 79-year-old behaves like and all of those things? He absolutely does, endless energy. But the guy's bouncing all over the world. I can tell you that when we did a two-week trip to Australia, I was jet lagged for about seven, eight days afterwards. This guy's bouncing all over the world, relentlessly taking meetings, and they have the nerve and the gall to do that. It is completely absurd, but okay, you get that. Let's continue. Scott Besant then called out the complete coverup that the New York Times was part of as it pertained to Joe Biden.
7:25You had what was one of the greatest scandals of all time that the coverage of the Biden administration, Joe Biden's diminished capacity, and the cover-up. And that's why it's probably fair to raise these questions. Where was the New York Times? We just had a three-hour cabinet meeting yesterday, Andrew. For 10 months, the Biden administration did not have a cabinet meeting. How are you going to invoke the 25th Amendment if the cabinet secretaries never see the president, which they didn't? I hear from people in the Treasury Building that I see President Trump more in a day than my predecessor saw Joe Biden in half a year.
8:07So - You know, it's interesting. I just gave Sorkin credit. Like, I don't think he's not profoundly terrible. And if you wanted to have a conversation with me on either of our podcasts, that would be just fine. But it's interesting. Vesson's like, you know, you guys were part of this massive coverup around Biden's mental health. And then he goes, well, that's why we should be talking about this. And it's like, no, that's not the issue. First off, there isn't an issue related to Trump, but that's secondary. The issue is you guys, you're sort of acknowledging that you lied and ran cover for Biden.
8:40Well, because we covered up all of that stuff related to that old guy and his diminished mental capacity, now we should be focusing on it. Oh, and it happens to be right now in office, a guy you don't like. So it's just boring as hell. But here's more proof from the New York Times in November of 2021, Biden declared healthy and vigorous after his first presidential physical. Think how profoundly absurd that is. At any point, at any point, do you think Biden was vigorous in those four years? Let's say you maybe could argue that he was healthy. Maybe they didn't have, maybe, maybe, and I do think there still was a massive coverup.
9:16But is it possible that in that first year, that maybe some of the mental stuff and the diminished ability to speak and all those things. Maybe that wasn't coming through. But would you describe him as vigorous, vigorous in any point? Come on, it's completely, completely absurd. But why do they do it? Well, they do it because they know they can get away with it. So the Democrats and the machine lie about things and then they have the mainstream media launder the lies to the people. There you go. There's a growing and insidious trend in right-wing media, broadcast, print and social media. It is to take highly misleading and selectively edited videos of President Biden directly from Republican National Committee social media accounts.
10:06Both the articles are based on cheap fakes, videos of real events that are intentionally manipulated to fool viewers released on an RNC opposition research social media account with zero independent fact checking by these so-called journalists and spread throughout the right wing ecosystem. Cheap fakes are a little bit simpler. They're cheap. They're just distorted, out of context videos, chopped up in certain ways, constructed in certain ways. That's what we're seeing. That's what the Biden administration, the Biden campaign is so worried about right now. But make no mistake, they are worried about this.
10:38This is a real problem. This is not some made up fiction. The videos are oftentimes made up, but the problem is real. OK, so you may be watching this going, Dave, we've seen all this stuff. Why are you why are we diving back into this? But I think it's starting to become clear regarding what one of their next moves is going to be. And one of their next moves is going to be an endless focusing on Trump's health. They are going to do this. And in a weird way, they're doing it because it's the perfect obfuscation for everything that they did for those four years. So when we had a real problem in the White House with an old man who was confused and tired and often not at meetings and not signing documents and everything else, they ran cover for it and they called it cheap fakes and everything else.
11:24Even though in that video that was on the side-by-side of Stelter right there, that apparently was the night that George Clooney now has admitted that he saw Joe Biden and Joe Biden wasn't even sure who he was, even though he's one of his biggest backers and fundraisers and everything else. So that's what they did for Biden. And now they're gonna do the reverse. They hit it for Biden and they're gonna do the reverse for Trump, despite the fact that he is bouncing all over the world, as Besson pointed out, was just in a three hour cabinet meeting yesterday, which by the way, where he then takes questions.
11:55How many times on this show, just in the last two weeks, have we shown you moments where he's on the plane He doesn't have to be taking questions on Air Force One. He could be laying in bed. I am sure they've got a pretty nice suite and he's got a button with Diet Coke and he doesn't have to talk to anybody, but he does it. So I'm just putting that out there to just acknowledge. Let's pre-acknowledge what they are gonna do. Let's pre-bunk it. How about that? Let's go back to Besant with Sorkin and they get into a bit about affordability. And again, Sorkin really tries his best to blame everything on Trump, but Besant actually has facts.
12:34I mean, in a blue state, affordability is worse than a blue state. We can debate that, but keep going. There's no debate. The number, 50 basis points higher, inflation, the 10 highest, the inflation rates, they are in blue cities, but... Just so you know, because I went to look at this, This is the Joint Economic Committee since 2021. The highest inflation of the past four years has been in red states, especially Florida. I'm talking about current. Current. Current. Not over the past four years. Right. Today. Okay. I would think four years would be a reasonable trend line to look at. Today, it is 50 basis points higher.
13:27Storkin, do you get why they laughed at you right there? Trump has been president for 10 months. Who was president for those four years? It was Joe Biden. It was the Democrats. It was you guys. So if you're concerned about inflation, it might have something to do with the endless printing of money. It might have something to do with the Inflation Reduction Act that actually raised inflation and everything else. So it's just like, so Besson is just like, I'm talking about now, buddy, now, now, now. But what happens is, and this is really the point, the bias of these people, the implicit and I would say illicit bias of these people, knowing that they have a buffer, that basically if you were on the left in America, you can lie about anything.
14:10What that allows you to do is not just import bad ideas, but you never have to take accountability for your bad ideas. So speaking of accountability for bad ideas, here is the king of bad ideas, Gavin Newsom. And listen to this psychotic, we have been through this before, same script, get a new one, brother. You will not have a free and fair election as we know them today in the United States of America if Speaker Jeffries is not sworn in. a year plus from now. I really believe that. Sure, there'll be elections. Competitive authoritarians love elections.
15:25Putin, I think, got 87.3%. The runner-up was 4.3%. That's what I mean by competitive authoritarianism. Ask folks in Hungary and Orban what's going on in Turkey. That's the model for Trump. Went from the sixth largest economy to the fourth largest economy, 4.1 trillion dollars a year. We have more Fortune 500 companies than we've ever had in the last two decades. More scientists, engineers, more Nobel laureates. Venture capital, over$106 billion this year. Finest system of higher education in the world. A conveyor belt for talent like no other. The dominant manufacturing hub in the United States.
16:01We're the dominant ag state,$62.1 billion. Forestry, hunting jobs, ag jobs. You talk about farmers and ranchers. You're talking about my home state. There's just so much nonsense there that it's hard to, I'm not going to even bother unpacking all of the lies and confusions and all of that stuff. What I'd like to focus on for a moment is, can you pull up the picture of how he was sitting? How does an adult male sit like that? Now, this, I think, offers us a little insight into my theory that he is an evil lizard man. The lizards have testicles. The lizards have testicles? I don't think lizards have testicles.
16:39How do lizards reap it as an egg? I don't think lizards have balls. Because if you had balls, you could not sit like that. Let's put it up again. His balls obviously do not exist because he is a lizard. Now, interestingly, can you put up the picture earlier of Sorkin? Because Sorkin was kind of sitting like that earlier. How you, look, Besson is sitting, you know, there's always this debate online. Trump sits sort of like a gorilla, right? Like man spreading giant thighs, you know, like this, right? Like they're like this, like a giant vagina, right? That's what they are. And then there's always this debate.
17:13if you're a man and you sit with your legs crossed, you're not really a man. But Besson is sitting. I mean, I sit like that sometimes. It's a normal way to have your legs crossed. I don't know how Sorkin is doing that. And then I'll go back to Gavin Newsom. No, you cannot have testicles. You cannot have testicles. Were you just giving me some lizard testicle information? Yeah, it's confirmed. Lizards do not have testicles. Well, they have testicles. Lizards do not have balls. Their testes are internal. Thank you for watching. We'll see you tomorrow.
18:09supermajority Democrat state. It's just absolutely extraordinary. Also, 11 Fortune 500 companies have left California since COVID. We know that Elon took several companies out of there. California ranks 37th out of 50th in state public education. It goes on and on. Oh, and what was it? He said, we have the best pipeline of higher education in the world. It's like, oh yes, send your kid to Columbia and to Yale and Harvard so that they can become a Hamas member. I'm not going to curse again. It's fine. You may remember that he did debate Ron DeSantis about two years ago. And I just thought this was a great moment to re-up this because his own freaking parents, Gavin Newsom's own in-laws fled California because of him and now live in the free state of Florida.
18:53So I was talking to a fella who had made the move from California to Florida. And he was telling me that Florida is much better governed, safer, better budget, lower taxes, all this stuff. And he's really happy with the quality of life. And then he paused and he said, you know, by the way, I'm Gavin Newsom's father-in-law. So we do count Gavin's in-laws as some of the people that have fled California and come to the state of Florida. And why are we why are we getting people to come? We have a 50 year low in the crime rate. You don't see in the last 10 years we've had a 45 percent decline in homelessness.
19:26California has had a 45 percent increase in homelessness. We back the blue. I was walking the streets of San Francisco a couple of months ago, and I had some of the cops in San Francisco do a beeline to come over to me. And I didn't know what they were going to say. And they're like, we want to thank you for standing for law enforcement because we don't get that support in the state of California. We don't even deserve that guy, even here in Florida. And we'll see what happens when his term wraps up. And hopefully it will be a replication of what he has done here. But yeah, Newsom just stands there with his evil smile and his no testicles, knowing that everything that DeSantis said there was true.
20:03And it's like, man, this guy, I'm warning you guys, he likely will be the candidate in 28 because he will have the veneer, literally the veneer teeth, but he will have the veneer and fake hair and patina of somehow being something somewhat moderate, as opposed to them going full mask off and bringing in a Mom Donny type. But he will usher in all of the absolute evil. But again, how do these people get away with it? How is it that they can ruin cities as he ruined San Francisco and then ruin states as he ruined California and they can do this all over the country and then keep winning elections and keep getting away with it?
20:40Well, the way they do that is because, as I said earlier, their lies are then laundered throughout the media. So Rachel Maddow, a woman who gets paid$25 million to do a one-day-a-week show, as far as I understand it, over on the televised mental institution now known as MS Now, she went on failed comedian who makes$20 million a year, Stephen Colbert, whose show is about to be canceled with his$100 million budget. Poor guy, what's he gonna do with the rest of his life? He'll have to walk around Times Square begging for change. But she went on his show last night to explain that Trump is, well, yeah, colluding with Russia.
21:18Again, does anyone have a memory anymore? This is endless scrolling, because it just broke all our brains go. I mean, literally, they wrote the plan for what they want Ukraine to do, and the White House put it on its letterhead and said, here it is. You better do it. And you know, Russia is a podunk country. They're a huge landmass, largest physical country in the world. They've got an economy like the size of Italy, right? They've got a kleptocratic, sclerotic government run by a guy who's never going to leave until he dies. The idea that we work for him, that we work for them, is so humiliating and is such an abject failure on the part of Trump in terms of his weakness.
21:59Who's Steve Whitcoff? He's the president's golfing friend. He's a real estate guy. Real estate guy. Florida real estate guy, yeah. And they've decided that the way that we're going to solve all the intractable problems of the world is by letting him hang out at the Kremlin a lot. You know what's funny? I'll start with the last part. Solving the intractable problems through guys like Steve Whitcoff. Yeah, he got the hostages out of Gaza and there is peace right now, right? It's not, as I always say, it's not Pollyannish peace like they all love each other, but the killing is over. The reconstruction has begun, right?
22:30So that guy did it. You would prefer that people who got us into intractable problems over decades were still the ones in charge. Trump tries different things and gets different results. You could argue that in his first go-around, the Abraham Accords, instead of doing everything the conventional way, he brought in Kushner and some other people and they thought about things a little bit differently and got things done. So she's actually an agent of whatever you want to think of as the deep state. She is an agent of it. She thinks, oh, there's all these problems and we should solve all these problems via the same mechanisms and people has created the problems in the first place.
23:09Trump is the reverse of that. He sees problems and is like, can we think about them in a different way? And can we try to solve them via other means? And then he does solve it. And that upsets the people who are entrenched in the deep state. Again, whatever you want to refer to that, the machine, the deep state, whatever you want to call that. Also, Maddow, she lied. It's a complete lie. The first thing she said there was Russia wrote the plan for what they want Ukraine to do. What she's referring to, he or she, whatever she is, What she's referring to there is the 19 point plan that we have now brought over to the Russians and see if they will get on board.
23:44Right. And it's like there is literally. Yes. Russia wrote it. Russia wrote it. There's no evidence of that. She completely made it up. But that is what she is an expert in completely making up nonsense, but sounding like she knows what she's talking about. Here's exhibit 32. A go. Now we know that the vaccines work well enough that the virus stops with every vaccinated person. NBC News is reporting tonight that with this sort of October surprise that he has brought to the fore about Joe Biden and Mr. Biden's son, that that is now being investigated by federal investigators as a foreign intelligence operation for which her father would be the conduit.
24:24Third election in a row in which Russia has tried to interfere to try to get Trump into the White House. third election in a row. Everything she says, abject lie. I love she brought on Rudy Giuliani's daughter. You know, Rudy's coming to the holiday party, the Rubin Report holiday party. That's going to be pretty fun. You ever see Rudy Giuliani doing a shot of tequila? You will soon enough. We'll see if we can get that on video. Anyway, it's just like they lie about everything. And then what happens? The misinformation that they purvey while they tell us we're purveying misinformation, it actually harms the country.
25:01It harms the good ideas like capitalism. It harms the ability for people to build businesses and everything else because they end up living in cities that are run by complete morons. And then it also destroys the institutions. And whether you love our institutions or not, a functioning society needs some institutions. You need some relatively trustworthy institutions that you can believe in. Otherwise, and otherwise everything will crumble overnight. Alex Karp, who's the head of Palantir, I love showing you videos of this guy. I think he's just great. We've gotta get him on the show. I think he's just great.
25:35Here he is talking about how no one believes in the institutions anymore, and that actually is a problem. What is the biggest problem in this culture? I'll tell you the biggest problem. No one believes the institutions are credible, and why don't they believe they're credible? And I struggle to believe they're credible too, because these business leaders make completely stupid decisions. And they get bailed out. A year later, they're getting huge bonuses. What do the American people get? Nothing. That's a huge problem. Like, if you make, so I think the real version is, like, I made a lot of decisions when we began talking, annoying each other 10 years ago.
Read the full transcript
26:12Hopefully I'm annoying you as much as 10 years ago. Or more. When I made, you know this, every decision Palantir made, FDA's going public, building products, enterprise, large data sets, going to government, acknowledging American superiority, being pro-meritocracy, launching an AI platform, calling into question that AI models would actually be able to perform without orchestration. Every single one, every single, our ontology, every single one of those was viewed as stupid. You know what I actually have grown to appreciate about capitalism? all the people who made the right decisions went broke, are going out of business.
26:54What does that show you guys? So the institutions lied to us, but he's making the argument, it would be nice if we had trustworthy institutions, but also conventional wisdom just doesn't work. When Rachel Madd, it's like clear thinking works, but conventional wisdom doesn't, right? That's what we're, I think, getting to at this point. That Rachel in the previous clip is like, conventional wisdom should always do anything. Everyone that got us into intractable problems should have to solve those intractable problems. And what he's saying there is the institutions have failed. We have tried to build new things.
27:27He's talking about Palantir specifically on the roadmap that they did to go public and everything else. We thought about all things differently. And because we did, we've built a good product and good AI models and everything else. And it's like, you can even tell just by the body language, you have a lizard with no testicles sitting there just lying about everything versus a guy that like he is passionate and telling you true things and you can see it actually exudes out of his body. Speaking of out of the body, let's talk about boner pills for a minute and then we'll talk about Ilhan Omar. Blue Chew is basically the upgrade button for your sex life.

Okay, so there's a whole bunch going on that we've covered over the last few days coming out of Minnesota. Some of it has to do with illegal immigration. Some of it has to do with some ICE stuff. A whole bunch of it has to do with fraud, which is actually connected to a lot of that and money laundering and much more.
29:04But it also is now turning out and Tim Walls is sort of in the center of this thing, that there have been all sorts of governmental programs that Minnesota was doing that were unbelievably fraudulent, that again became money laundering schemes, that put money in people's pockets instead of going to the people. And Ilhan Omar was asked about it on CNN. And will you tell me if this is a legitimate answer or not? Can you shed any light on why the fraud got so out of control in Minnesota? I think what happened is that, you know, when you have these kind of new programs that are designed to help people, you're oftentimes relying on third parties to be able to facilitate.
29:51And I just think that a lot of the COVID programs that were set up, they were set up so quickly that a lot of the guardrails did not get created. Oh, well, then maybe somebody should be fired. Maybe you, because you're the congresswoman of that area and you were working with third parties and didn't vet them properly as you were taking money from the American people, maybe you gotta go home. I don't even mean back to Somalia, but maybe you just gotta go back to your house and find something else to do. But again, this is because, see, it's the same thing as the Maddow thing. Maddow's saying there's intractable problems in the world.
30:29We should just think about them the exact same way. And that is the great escape plan for all of these people. It's the same thing that Ilhan is doing. Well, you know, when things are happening, you know, there are crazy things like COVID and you just have to do things real fast and then wacky things happen and no one has to, you know, pay the price for that. It's the same exact notion. They believe in something that is deeply, deeply broken and the blame never gets put at anyone's doorstep because that's baked into the whole freaking thing in the first place. But it wasn't always that way and it doesn't always have to be that way.
31:00I love this quote from Ronald Reagan. We must reject the idea that every time a law is broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions. So not only of course is he right that each individual is accountable for his actions, but this is what they are pushing on us. Can you pull it up one more time? I want to read the first part of that again. We must reject the idea that every time a law is broken. Society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. Now frame that around what she just said. She was just like, well, she didn't say society exactly, but she was like, well, you know, it was COVID and it was a weird time and we had to work with third party people.
31:41Like no one is to blame, right? So you guys can launder money. You can do all sorts of illegal shady things, but the buck doesn't stop with anyone, right? It continues with Ilhan Omar. You're not, this one, you're not, Everyone get in your chair here. I have to, I should adjust myself in my chair and you guys should also adjust yourselves. She, this is crazy. This is seriously crazy. She just went on TV yesterday and I just don't want anyone to fall out of their chair or maybe if you're drinking coffee or anything, you might, I don't want you to have a spit take and ruin your couch. She went on TV and she called Trump racist yesterday.
32:18He's always been a racist, a bigot, a xenophobic and Islamophobic. We know that he called African nations a sh**hole in his first administration. We know that when he came down that escalator, he said he was going to stop Muslim immigration into this country. And so it is not surprising that he is going after black immigrants in this country. And it's certainly not surprising that he's choosing a black immigrant community that is also Muslim. But what I would like to say is that most of us are citizens on our passport. It says we are nationals of this country. We love that Minnesota has welcomed us.
33:03Many of us have not been settled in Minnesota. We chose it as a home because the Minnesota people and the state is beautiful and very welcoming. And we are going to be here regardless of what the president has to say. There's such evil, like with her. She's smiling the entire time as she's calling the president racist and xenophobic. She also said most of us. What was it? Most of us are here legally. Most of us. OK, so you mean 52 percent? That's still an awful lot of illegals. Also, Donald Trump is not running around just looking for black and Muslim people. He's looking for illegal people. And also, actually, the government of the United States is now looking for people who broke the law as it relates to this money laundering scheme, including the attorney general over Keith Ellison, who is on tape admitting that he knew about it.
33:52It's just so profoundly ridiculous. But fortunately, I don't think most people are buying it. And in some sense, I think that's why she's smiling through it. She knows she's lying, but it's all she's got at this point. Oh, and yes, she married her brother and broke federal immigration law. Could somebody, could we just send that to somebody? Does anyone care about anything? Let's jump over to the ladies of The view. Here is Whoopi Goldberg, a man who... Here's Whoopi Goldberg and Joyless Behar. And of course, they're also implying that Trump is racist and he uses racism whenever his numbers go down.
34:30Will trying to demonize immigrants still work for him or his base? Are they more concerned about other issues right now. Is this going to continue? Or is this smoke and mirrors too? It seems like every time his numbers drop or he perceives that his popularity is dropping, no matter how much tush kissing the cabinet does on him, it's really disgusting to watch them kiss his butt. But anyway, every time that happens, he pulls out a race card. Last time it was the Haitians who were eating the pets, and now it's the Somalis in Minnesota, who, by the way, there's only 84 ,000 Somalis in Minnesota, and 58 % of them were born in the United States.
35:20First off, Trump's numbers, we just showed you the stat the other day, even from CNN. He has an 87 % approval rate within his own party. That's number one. Number two, he's not going after immigrants. He's going after illegal immigrants. There are an awful lot of them there. That's why, Joy, you live on the Upper West Side in a nice doorman building and not in little Somalia. But let's jump over to Minneapolis because here is council member Jamal Osman. And yeah, he admits, well, you know, people did horrible things. A lot of them did, but we shouldn't blame everybody, which is pretty, pretty low bar.
36:04Growth in this state, they have contributed a lot to the state of Minnesota and the city of Minneapolis. And yes, folks have done horrible things and people have committed crimes, but we should not be pointing the entire community in one brush and being singled out at fellow Americans. There's a justice, there's a process, a due process, and I believe those folks have been dealt with by the state leaders. But now President Donald Trump singling out and attacking one group of people and eyes being on our streets and asking people documentation. It feels like we are in 1930s, 1940s in Germany. And to like these very people like Ilhan Omar, who would love for a Holocaust to happen in the Middle East, that her cadre of people can even invoke the Holocaust is disgusting.
37:14But yes, folks have done horrible things. Okay. Have we dealt with any of those things? Some people might argue it's horrible to marry a brother. That might be something that's pretty horrible. You might argue that. Has that been dealt with? Have you dealt with the attorney general who's still the sitting attorney general? Attorney general, that's the head guy in charge of law in the state. And now he's involved in the money laundering and fraud scheme. Have you dealt with that yet? And again, they are trying to get illegals out. No one that literally nobody that is a legal citizen of the United States has anything to worry about as it relates to ICE.
37:51But for whatever inconvenience this has caused. So let's say ICE goes into a Somali neighborhood because they know that a certain amount of people are illegal. Could it be a little bit of a headache if you have to show someone your driver's license? It could be. And does that kind of feel a little bit weird on the streets of the United States? I guess you could argue that it does. But this is your fault, meaning it's you guys and the Democrats. It's your fault. You let in all of these people. Now we're just trying to clean up the mess that you guys created. But of course, what they wanna frame this all around, it's just what Whoopi did, it's what Joy Behar did, it's what Ilhan did and the rest, and that guy, is they wanna make it seem like everything is about racism.
38:34And that thing is just not working anymore. Here's Ron DeSantis last night on Jesse Waters. Well, they say it's racist if you say that all these Somalis stole a billion. Yeah, the race card is what they're trying to do to evade accountability. You know, they'll say you're racist. They'll say you're, quote, Islamophobic. If you question why some of these folks have no interest in assimilating into American society. And I think people, particularly in Republican side and the conservative side, you know, I think we're beyond where they can just sling the race card out and people should be scared of that.
39:15That's what they'll do. That's their default. But I don't think people are buying it anymore. Yeah. I mean, he is right. People aren't buying it, but nobody wants to be called a racist, right? It's not a fun thing to be called. And I try very hard on the show. I don't, how often do I call some, like I call people that say racist things, genuinely racist things, which usually are said against white people. That is racism. It's not reverse racism. It's racism, okay? If white is a race and you are anti-white and you are institutionally anti-white and you stop white kids from getting into colleges or you make it harder for them to get jobs, etc., etc., that is just old-fashioned racism.
39:52And it's systemic racism, by the way, because that's how Harvard and other schools were allowing kids, also racist against Asian people, etc. That's one part. The other part, of course, is that we are looking at specific communities because Ron DeSantis is right. There are people who are coming here. Some are coming legally, some are coming illegally, but then are refusing to assimilate. That was the word he used. Refusing to become part of that melting pot. And if we don't do that, then America, as we know it, will no longer exist, right? We will just be this kind of broken down, very disassociated thing where the people that live in that community will have nothing to do with the people in that community.
40:33They won't speak the same language. They will have no ability to create real community. And that's, of course, how a society would collapse. Now, again, how do they get away with all of this? They have politicians who have bad policies. They launder the lies through the media. And then they put people in the institutions who bow to this nonsense. So I thought this was quite interesting. This is Hennepin County near Minnesota attorney. Her name is Mary Moriarty, explaining that there are no roving Somali gangs terrorizing people. I really want you to listen to this and put it into your head for just a moment.
41:08There are reports that the Trump administration is planning to send ICE agents here to the Twin Cities to target our neighbors of Somali descent. This is part of a recent pattern to single out our Somali community members. This is rooted in the idea that if they spew hatred, it will divide us. But we won't let that happen. There are no roving gangs of Somali people in this community harassing, threatening, doing anything to any of our community members. And let me repeat that again, because I've heard this often. There are no roving gangs of Somalis targeting or harassing or doing anything inappropriate to any community members.
41:56Those are simply lies. It is not true. Connor, Connor, over there, you got all your buttons on the computer. Can you play a video of a roving Somali gang from last night harassing people on the street? Can you, thank you. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. Why I hit bitty's ass. Why I hit bitty's ass. Why I hit bitty's ass. Why I hit bitty's ass. Oh my God. What the f***? What the fuck? Yo! That's a roving Somali gang stomping on some guy and the cheesesteak place had to close early. I love a good cheesesteak. There is nothing better than a good Philly cheesesteak. So lady, could we send her that video, I guess?
42:39We should probably find her email address. Maybe we should send that over to her. Here's a good one. Here is some images of a Somali city counselor and school board member in Maine. So this is not in Minnesota. this is Maine, he happens to be Somalian. He was just indicted for stealing guns. And you might note there that in the indictment, he's listed under R, which stands for race. You've got H, you got hair, that means black, E, eyes, that means brown. R, race, white. White. Hold on a second. Connor put the image back up.
43:25Here's a video of a Minnesota man, Omdababat, Babat, Hotbot, Billy Muhammad, who raped a woman that he met on Snapchat. A man out on probation for sexual assault is charged once again. This time, prosecutors say he picked up a woman he met on Snapchat and raped her at a hotel in Bloomington. Prosecutors once called this man an extreme public safety risk, but he never spent a day in prison for his previous crimes. Fox 9's Mike Manzoni joining us from our newsroom now. And Mike, prosecutors signed off on plea deals in these previous cases. Kelsey and Randy, a judge sentenced the Minneapolis man in those cases back in May, but he got credit for time served, so he never went to prison.
44:07It was all part of a pair of plea deals. This is the man we're talking about. His name is Abdi Mahat Billy Muhammad. But prosecutors say the 28-year-old uses the names Kareem and Altesto on Snapchat. And that is where investigators say he met his latest victim as well as his two previous ones. His latest victim and his two previous ones. Yeah, he previously had raped a 15-year-old girl at gunpoint. He's a repeated rapist, probably a racist too, who never went to jail. Notice nobody knows the name of those girls. Nobody in the Democrats care about that and CNN ain't doing a special about it and those bitches at The View won't say a word about it.
44:48So what does it lead to? It leads to all of these places crumbling. And then because that false cry of racism actually still is effective in some way, good people don't want to get into politics. It's few and far between that want to do it, right? And Donald Trump, who 10 years ago had no reason to do this other than for 30 years he had been saying, somebody better fix this country, otherwise it's gonna fall apart. And thank God he did get involved. Well, then what happens is because sort of good, decent, average people, they can't deal with all of the slings and hours they're gonna get. We end up getting another class of people that get into politics that probably shouldn't be into politics or anything else.
45:26And I don't even mean this as a shot to this guy in a weird way, but listen to this from the Minnesota Star Tribune. My Pillow CEO, Mike Lindell, files paperwork to run for Minnesota governor. The Mike Lindell for governor committee was registered with Minnesota's campaign finance board on Wednesday. I don't mean that as a shot to Mike Lindell. I've had him on the show. He's a perfectly nice guy. We've had nice interactions and everything else, but it's like the pillow guy shouldn't be the governor of Minnesota, right? Like that's not what's supposed to be happening here, but you're forcing, you're forcing these people who have, you know, he had his businesses destroyed and boycotted and MyPillow basically was demolished.
46:01It was a multi, hundreds of millions of dollars company that pretty much got boycotted and kicked out of every store and everything else. And it was based pretty much just Fox and some online shows that kept them afloat. So he's lived through the monster and now he's jumping in. So congratulations with that. You know, it's like, it just doesn't stop. But Trump, while they say he's tired, he's tired, he's not paying attention. Yeah, well, it's just complete nonsense. Here he is announcing that he's protecting American auto jobs and that they are gonna terminate some of this electronic vehicle push, which is a direct affront to his guy, Elon, but he's doing what he thinks is best for the country.
46:39Today, my administration has taken historic action to lower costs for American consumers, protect American auto jobs, and make buying a car much more affordable for countless American families and also safer. We're officially terminating Joe Biden's ridiculously burdensome, horrible, actually, cafe standards that imposed expensive restrictions and all sorts of problems, gave all sorts of problems to automakers. Today we're taking one more step to kill the Green News scam. It's part of the greatest scam, probably, well, other than Russia, Russia, Russia, and a few others I could name. The greatest scam in American history, the Green News scam, and it's a quest to end the gasoline-powered car.
47:23This is what they wanted to do, even though we have more gasoline than any other country by far, and people want the gasoline. Right. Right, so it's interesting because even right there, think of all the work he's done with Elon, all of the Doge stuff, then they had the falling out, then they came back together and everything else. And there he is once again, even though he himself bought a Tesla. Remember he had that Tesla outside of the White House after all that, saying people want gasoline cars. The whole Green New Deal was a complete scam. You can't force people into these vehicles and everything else.
47:51Look, I have two Teslas, they are phenomenal. I absolutely love them. If you've never been in one, just take a test drive in it. Like it's such a level up. When I go into a conventional gas car now, it usually feels kind of, it feels highly antiquated to me. But I understand that not everyone can afford them. There's all sorts of reasons. And we have plenty of gas and there's issues around the lithium batteries and all of those things. But once again, just everything he said there, he's doing things for the American people. And as it pertains to cars, well, now there's gonna be some more tax benefits if you get a car loan.
48:24We're allowing people to deduct. So if you go out and buy a car, And this is for middle income, but for lower income, no matter what. They never really had deductions. You know, rich people like deductions, but middle income people would never really afford deductions, which is very unfair. You borrow money to buy a car, you're allowed to deduct the interest from your income tax. And I think that's going to be one of the most, in terms of your industry, I think it's going to be the biggest thing that we're talking about. Maybe even bigger than cafe standards. people are going to be able to borrow money deducted.
49:00So it's going to cost them essentially half and they'll be. It'll help. Yes, sir. I think it's going to be a tremendous factory. They've never had a chance to do that before. And that's all done. That's all in the great, big, beautiful bill. Notice, guys, that's not the government taking money from some and handing it to others and redistributing. Right. That's saying you buy a car, you get the loan, and now you can deduct some of that and you will ultimately pay less overall. It gets a car in someone's pocket. It helps the car companies sell cars. It's good all around. It's very much in line with what we showed you yesterday, Michael Dell and his wife that are putting, what was it,$650 billion into these accounts, which then if you put Max in once these kids are born, you basically at 6.25 billion.
49:46If you do that, if you match that up to the age of 60, they're going to end up with about$2.2 million in their bank account. And that's having nothing to do with the work that they did over the course of their lives and everything else. Like that's good capitalism. It's good messaging and everything else. Here's some other good messaging because this is NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang talking about how Trump basically saved the AI industry because it was all gonna go overseas. Trump changed some energy policies so that we'll have the computing power here. And that is good for America. If United States doesn't grow, we will have no prosperity we can't invest in anything domestically or otherwise we can't fix any of our problems if we don't have energy growth we can't have industrial growth if we don't have industrial growth we can't have job growth these it's a simple as that right and the fact that the fact that he came into office and the first thing that he said was drill baby drill His point is we need energy growth.
50:46Without energy growth, we can have no industrial growth. And that was, it saved, it saved the AI industry. I got to tell you flat out, if not for his pro-growth energy policy, we would not be able to build factories for AI, we'd not be able to build chip factories, we surely won't be able to build supercomputer factories. None of that stuff would be possible. You know, I always tell you, it's like when someone's telling the truth, it's just kind of easy like listen to how how clear and concise and easy it is to hear that right trump basically changed the policies to make them friendlier so that as we enter this this ai version of the future whether you like it or not whether you think it's going to be utopian or dystopian and we can always have those conversations this stuff's coming one way or another the ai is coming the robots are coming, it's all coming.
51:40And Trump is creating the conditions so that at least for whatever trepidations, whatever concerns we might have about it, we will not lag behind China and Russia. Because imagine if China and Russia basically lead the world into the AI and robotics revolution. We will be like, that's Terminator 2, the machines have turned on and now we're screwed level stuff. So who do you trust when it comes to what's really going on with this administration in this country right now. Do you trust Wang right there, the CEO of NVIDIA? Do you trust Karp, the CEO of Palantir, people who are actually building things and are competent?
52:15Or do you like the Ilhan Omars? Do you like the Joy Behar's? Do you like the endless complainers who are destroying things? Do you like the guys over at the New York Times who will right now tell you that Donald Trump's mental acuity is falling apart while they admit that they're the ones who were in on the conspiracy the first time? I'm like, I think the choice is fairly simple. Let's talk about Balance of Nature, and then we'll get to a ReubenReport.locals.com community Q &A. All right, let's get to some of your questions. Eurasian says, Dave, since the Venezuelan narco traffickers haven't loaded their boats with women and children to ward off the airstrikes, do you think they are less evil than Hamas fighters? Wow. That is a great question. And it's interesting that they have not done that yet, because imagine if they did what the reaction would be.
53:50And then there would be a debate to be had, or whether it should be had or not, there would be a debate going on. Well, wait a minute, they're bringing over 50 pounds of fentanyl, which could kill thousands of people. but they did put a kid on there who's sitting on the fentanyl. What do we do? I mean, so does it make the narco-terrorists who are killing all of our young people a little bit better than the Hamas fighters who intentionally put kids next to rocket launchers in hospital? I guess it does. That's the nicest thing I can possibly say about a Venezuelan narco-terrorist. Mark says, hey, Dave, do you ever read fiction?
54:28And if so, what's your favorite book or author? You know, I have not read a fiction book in so long. And when I was glancing through the questions this morning, that was my reaction. Like, I used to read a lot of fiction and I don't, I used to read a lot of Stephen King, actually. I think I probably read 20 Stephen King books. And for as crazy as he's gone politically, like the guy was a great, a great, great author. And I used to, and Philip K. Dick really was probably my favorite. He's a sci-fi, but that's probably, he's probably my favorite author of all time. And if you haven't read any of Philip K.
54:58Dick's books, you know, a lot of his stories that became movies, great sci-fi movies, they're actually short stories. Total Recall and Minority Report and many others, they're short stories, not even full things. So you can read a whole bunch of them. You know, in a week, you can read, you know, 15 great stories. But I don't get to anymore. You know, even nonfiction, unfortunately, I just don't have time to read as much. Honestly, mostly I'm reading children's books, which I do. It's funny, when you read a children's book to a kid, they get when a book is good or not. And the bad ones, they never want to hear them again.
55:28And the good ones, either it's because of the rhyming or it's because of a little bit of the drawing. But usually it's connected to the story. Then you get some good ones. But in the old days, I was able to read all of my guests' books. I was really proud that I was able to do that. If I brought someone on to talk about a book, I would read the book before. And then just my life and businesses and everything became so busy. It's very hard for me to do that. So usually I try to read it through a little bit. Joseph sometimes reads through some of it and we come up with some notes version so I know where I'm going and then sometimes I also do think it helps as an interviewer to know a little bit less but unfortunately I don't get to as much as I would like to Glenn says how do you how long do you think you'll do your podcast do you have thoughts of moving on to something else someday are there other things you think you might want to do that you haven't tried yet you know it's interesting um doing this you know has afforded me and I mean that literally and and figuratively like really an incredible life and I've built an incredible team here and we have we have an absolute blast together and we you know I started Locals years ago I never thought I was going to start a tech company in the midst of all this much less than merge with Rumble and have that go public we started the tequila company which is crushing it actually we're going to release something in a day or two but our distributor told us that our online sales have broke every record they have ever seen for a spirit that went direct to market online.
56:53Like we're, we're absolutely crushing it. People don't really buy tequila and spirits online. You go to your local store, which we're working on getting in a whole bunch of stores right now, and hopefully should have some updates on that soon. Um, but I've really enjoyed like building that business too. Um, we're, we're working on a, another business that I'm not fully at liberty to talk about right now. So I think there's a lot of things that I like doing as long as I enjoy this, as long as every day I wake up and I'm like, yeah, I'm having fun doing this and I feel like it's valuable. I'll do it.
57:22Look, there are a lot of headaches that come with this, you know, just in the last couple of weeks and watching some of the fighting on the right. Like I know, let's, let's put it this way. I know we could get, our numbers are phenomenal, phenomenal. We had a billion views on YouTube alone last year. Um, and this year we're going to crush it again and all of those things. Um, but I know if I was willing to fight more, if I was willing to just get into every internet fray and candace said this and that one said that and i do a little bit of it here and there i know we we could have better you know bigger numbers and all of those things our numbers are great it's not about that but the point is there's a there's a human toll that some of this stuff takes too you know people say horrible things about you they lie about you the new york times writes crazy things about you like sometimes it does actually become a big headache too uh but to specifically answer your question as long as i wake up every day and i feel like I'm contributing something you know when I went to the PragerU thing at Mar-a-Lago a couple nights ago the amount of people that come up to me and they just say the same thing Dave I'm watching the show and I'm laughing you know your politics is so miserable and everybody's so hateful and that's not the way you are like that that's what I love hearing like my political analysis I think is pretty solid and I think I've got most of the things right I get some of the things wrong but like there's a lot of people you could turn to that for that but if you turn to for the if you turns to this show and you're laughing and you, and thinking about something, maybe a little bit differently, whether you agree with me or not, then it's still valuable.
58:47So as long as I'm enjoying that, I'm going to keep doing it. And you know, as long as these guys will keep turning, I don't even know how to turn on the computer. So I guess as long as they would be willing to do that, we keep going. Uh, let's talk about Rumble premium for a minute and then a couple more questions. Heidi says, how is it legal for Biden to not only stop the construction of the border wall, but also sell off the materials? So I'm not a lawyer in that sense, but that he stopped it. I mean, the president has the right to dictate border policy, right? Which is why for the years under Biden, where they kept saying there needs to be a bipartisan bill and blah, blah, blah, it was a complete lie. The president has every right to do it, which is why the second Biden left office, Trump locked down the border and now there are virtually no illegal crossings.
1:00:00So I don't know that there's a legal issue there. Then they literally started a crazy fire sale of construction things that were building the wall. How that was legal, I'm not so sure, but it's the government and you can get away with an awful lot of shit if you're a bad person. That's pretty much how it works. I love this question. Lacey, is Die Hard a Christmas movie? Yes, obviously. It takes place on Christmas at a Christmas party. He's wearing a Santa hat at different portions throughout the movie. I mean, it's absolutely a Christmas movie. Is it a little more violent than, say, Elf? Yes. Although Elf, there's some guffaws.
1:00:44No, but it's also a great movie. What year did that come out? I saw it in the theater. I'm going to guess 89, 88. You just know that off the top of your head? Oh, it says it right there. Look at that. So I was 12 years old. Yeah, I saw that in the theater and it was absolutely blown away. And, you know, one of the lines that I use on the show all the time and I send the meme out all the time is, welcome to the party, pal. And that's when Bruce Willis, what's his name in the movie, John McClane. You know, he realizes that the cop down there, the cop finally realizes that there's a problem at Nakatomi Plaza.
1:01:15You know, you see it all this exploding and, you know, John's running around going, I need some help. And then there he is standing there with the gun and the glass is all broken and his feet are all bloody. and he looks down, welcome to the party, pal. And that's what I always feel like when people wake up politically after we've been like drubbing them over the head, being like, those people are freaking insane and America's hanging out by a thread. Welcome to the party, pal. And everyone gets to the party at some point. So yes, it is absolutely a Christmas movie. Although my favorite Christmas movie by far, because yes, on Christmas, like, or if you're going for like the season of Christmas feeling, Die Hard is probably not that.
1:01:54Christmas Vacation, Chevy Chase. To me, it is, I'm getting applause for that, yeah. To me, that is, it's Chevy Chase at peak, peak Chevy Chase. I know you could argue that Fletch was probably peak Chevy Chase or even Caddyshack, but he does a smaller role in that. He's pretty damn good in Caddyshack too, which people hate, and I think it's pretty freaking funny. But Christmas Vacation is fantastic. Oh, and by the way, I would also mention that Gremlins is a Christmas movie. The entire thing takes place over a course of a couple of days. Gremlins, you watch the beginning of that movie and it's pretty freaking scary.
1:02:27There are moments of that movie like that. It's actually not that kid-friendly. What year was that? Probably also, I'm gonna guess about 86 maybe, Gremlins? Original Gremlins. 84. Oh, getting old. Janine says, hey Dave, my family and I will be traveling to Israel in the spring. This is our first time and we're super excited. Do you have any advice for us newbies? Is there anything we should be sure to pack? Any restaurants we should not miss? Well, there's many beauties of the country, but one of the beauties of the country is because it is so small, the size of New Jersey, you will be able to go as far north, and now the north is safe, fortunately.
1:02:59You'll be able to go as far north in the country as you can go, and you'll be able to go as far south as a lot, and you could basically do that in a day. And depending on the weather, you might be able to ski in Mount Hermon and then go lay on the beach or go to, well, you gotta go to the Dead Sea, right? Go to the Dead Sea. You can float on water, walk on water, just like Jesus did. Obviously, you're gonna go to Jerusalem and go see the Western Wall, which is the holiest site in Judaism, and go see the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is the holiest site in Christianity, and walk through those old steps, those thousands and thousands of years old steps in Jerusalem.
1:03:30Those are obvious things. The Holocaust Memorial, Yad Vashem, in Jerusalem is, we didn't go this last time that we visited, but it is immeasurably impactful, I would say. And then go, I mean, go to the Sea of Galilee, which was absolutely beautiful. if you didn't watch our last documentary that we did, we took a boat ride on that and it was just stunningly gorgeous. But in terms of food and places to go, I mean, the food scene there is unreal. Tel Aviv had some of the best food I've ever had in my life. There is a chef, he's a famous Israeli chef. His name is Eyal Shani. He also has restaurants actually in Miami and New York.
1:04:08And I think he had a restaurant in Melbourne, Australia actually, and some others. And we basically, I would look at my phone every night and be like, let's just pick one of his restaurants. And we went to a whole bunch of them. And then we would just sit down and I would say to the, sometimes we sat at the bar with the whole crew or we'd sit at a table. And I would just say to whoever that would come up to us, the manager or the waiter or the bartender, just bring us the best, whatever is the best. And the sense of life right there is just incredible. The bartenders will do shots with you. Like it's just, you will eat some spectacular, spectacular food there.
1:04:44There was a place called Claro that we went to That was pretty great. That was the best lamb I ever had. What else? Oh, Culinary Workshop in Jerusalem. They've got this great, well, they have great cocktails, but they have this great meat fridge where you can just walk up and get the most beautiful hunks of tomahawks you've ever seen. I'll try to think of some others. Aaron says, what is the name of your next book gonna be? My husband and I were talking last night and we suggest Don't Pull My Finger, a forward by Eric Swalwell. I got the joke there. it likely, so I'm actually writing it finally right now.
1:05:17And I had a few pages written with a little bit of a intro to it, sitting on the kitchen table the other day. And David walked up to me. He was like, so you're working on this? Did you want to tell me about that? So it is starting to come together. I have the 10 chapters outlined. I'm working on chapter one right now. I'm thinking about self-publishing it. You know, I was with Penguin twice. I had two bestselling books. The second book, the first book out on the New York Times was a seller list, but that it's all fabricated anyway, but by sales, we should have been on there. And the second book should have been number one New York Times bestseller and they didn't even put us on there.
1:05:51And the crazy, I mean, it's just so crazy. It tells you everything you need to know about the New York Times that we're talking about at the top of the show, that it's like, if they can fabricate lists of bestsellers where the sales don't correlate to what is actually on the list, like what else do you think they're fabricating? And my last book should have been number one New York Times bestseller and they didn't even put it on there. But so anyway, the point is, I just don't care about the machine anymore. So I'm thinking about just self-publishing it and then just getting it to you guys directly.
1:06:18So my hope is we can maybe get, it's gonna take me a little time, maybe by fall, how about fall? I was gonna say spring, but that might be pushing. We'll see, but likely Don't Burn This World, which we already started the Don't Burn This World tour. And that gives us a nice trilogy. And then I can move on with my life because George Lucas did a lot of good things after the trilogy, right?
