In short

The host argues the left (especially Democrats and DSA) is increasingly “radical” and threatens the U.S. from within, using Ilhan Omar as a focal example. He also discusses Elon Musk’s response to Omar, frames socialism/anti-border politics as unpopular with independents, and criticizes Democratic leaders for not confronting far-left positions. He adds a segment on Iran-related tit-for-tat comments by Marco Rubio and mentions anti-Semitism and stabbings in New York.

Guests

None. The episode is a solo monologue with referenced clips/interviews from others (e.g., Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner; Elon Musk; Economist editor-in-chief; Steve Kornacki/NBC; Megan Romer; Pete Buttigieg; Joe Lonsdale; Dave Portnoy; Dana Bash; Hakeem Jeffries; Caroline Levitt; John Fetterman; Chris Van Hollen).

Key claims

Omar is mocked by Trump for “World War XI,” is allegedly under fraud investigation, and should be “denaturalized/deported/expelled.” Musk is portrayed as supporting expulsion and “serious” denaturalization. The host claims DSA/left platforms include abolishing the Senate, borders, ICE, prisons, and defunding the Pentagon, and that Democrats won’t stop them. He argues socialism is unpopular outside Democrats and that public services (like libraries) aren’t socialism.

Notable examples

Omar’s “World War XI” remark; Omar’s tweet about Trump lacking evidence; Musk’s “Ilhan Omar is a traitor…must be expelled” post; DSA chair Megan Romer’s “true/false” answers; New York stabbing with “Allahu Akbar”; Elon’s Neuralink brain-computer interface wheelchair example; Rubio’s “head for an eye” framing.

Wayfair, every style, every home Previously on The Rubin This can be a hell of a crossover we're doing right now They said you're whacking yourself with a hammer If I never had to talk about bone smashing again I'd be totally fine Adding cell to the end of words Is a pretty popular one So you're a picture cell Like you don't want to take any more pictures Or did I completely butcher that?

1:12All right, what's up, people? I'm Dave Rubin. This is the Rubin Report. And yes, it is our last week on the grid. We shut down our season at the end of July. We take August off the grid. no computer, no phone, no news, no nothing. And we come back in September fresh and ready to roll. Did I say the date? It is July 27th. I think I just said it was last week. Today is July 27th. Couple more days, guys. We got live shows through Thursday and then we're doing something special on Friday. I officially will go off the grid Thursday night, a day early for reasons I can't explain or I needn't explain, let's say, and doing something very special on Friday.

1:54So you will want to tune in on Friday. and I just wanna make a couple of comments quickly about our Friday show. If you did not see our Friday show with Clavicular, we live streamed this thing and this is the looks maxing kid. It's all about just everything you can do to optimize your face, your body, your looks. The comments were very, some people were really into it and they like just that he's getting people to care about what they look like and that's just the first step and hopefully then care about what you do and what you want to accomplish in life and everything else. A lot of other people think that there's some serious narcissistic stuff there and that he's probably got a whole bunch of problems and all that.

2:30I don't know. I actually enjoyed talking to him and I thought it was kind of thoughtful. And what I like is that when you interview somebody, it's not necessarily for me to say, it's for you guys to make your judgment call on, well, that's somebody that I'm interested in following or I don't like that or I do. However, I did ask him in the middle of the interview. And yes, of course, the internet was saying that I brutally frame-mogged him. There was a lot of that, which means when you have somebody that's clearly better looking than the other guy, you've brutally framed on somebody. But I said to him, if you're looking at me right now, does he just stare at everybody going, man, your face should be a little more like this, or like this, or like this, or whatever.

3:05And he said that he wanted my jawline to be tighter, but Connor, can you go to the side shot there? Like, that's pretty good. Like, come on, guys. 50 years old over here. That's a pretty solid, I guess I could shave this a little bit more. but anyway, that's our show for today. Thanks for watching. See you tomorrow. Okay, here we go. We got a big show for you. Oh, one other thing real quick. We noticed over the weekend, can you put up the numbers here? That our subscriber to viewer ratio is quite bizarre. So in the last 28 days, so basically for the last month, basically 55 % of you who are watching the show are not subscribed.

3:4245 % of you who watch are subscribed. Our numbers have been bananas phenomenal. So we're very appreciative of that. and I thank you for tuning in. But if you have not subscribed at this point, which is clearly in the last month, more than half of you, chop, chop, people. Let's get going, make it happen. Okay, thank you very much. Let's dive in. It's a lot and really the theme, and this will clearly be the theme till I'm gone and Lord only knows what'll happen in August, is just the ever increasing craziness coming out of the lefties. And today we're doing some really fun stuff in the middle of the show, contrasting them with the way Democrats used to be, 80s, 90s, and even early 2000s.

4:21But let's start with some video of President Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. He made, he poked a little fun at Somali insurgent Ilhan Omar. Take a look. It's becoming such a horrible and dangerous location that Ilhan Omar, one of my favorites, and her brother are thinking about moving together very much in love. The video has surfaced recently of Ilhan giving a speech referring to World War II as World War XI. And they asked her about that. She still thought she got it right. But I'm not surprised because she's a low IQ person. And she's also a very dishonest person. And she ought to get the hell out of our country.

5:10She shouldn't be here. She shouldn't be in our country. She also calls her brother husband number one. Omar is reportedly being investigated for fraud. She revised her net worth. I was shocked to see that she was worth much more than$30 million. And then when the press got on her, she revised it slightly downward to less than$18 ,000. So she went from much more than$30 million to$18 ,000. And I know Democrats, and the word Democrat is something that's come into fashion. All right, so it's a little of everything from Trump. He was a little low energy there, but he's hitting it. Like, you know, he makes the joke about them being married.

5:47So yes, she is under investigation about that. She committed federal immigration law because she married her brother, which generally as an American, you're not supposed to marry your brother. It's basic, that's not, you know, very high bar stuff. She committed some sort of, it sounds like tax fraud or something. Remember, she originally said that they earned$30 million or were worth$30 million. Then when people started talking about it and they were like, wait a minute, this winery doesn't exist. No one's ever bought this wine. There's some really shady stuff with some of these businesses. Then magically that became 18 ,000.

6:17So she was quite literally off by$30 million. She also obviously, obviously hates the country. She's definitely involved in the money laundering scheme that has got Tim Walls hung up, which is largely connected to the Somali community, which is who she represents. She doesn't represent the average person of Minnesota. She represents the Somali community and has repeatedly said that that's who she's in. She's in America for them, not for other Americans. So we just kind of hit her across the board. We'll see if there's any investigation or what will come of the investigation as it pertains to marrying her brother and some of this fraud stuff.

6:52But anyway, she saw that video. You'll see where we're going with this. She saw that video and she tweeted out this. The idiot who runs our country says this, but doesn't have the courage or evidence to come after me. This should tell you how low IQ he is. Trump, who needs to get the hell out of our country because he's destroying it and making us the laughing stock of the world. Okay, first off, Ilhan, it's our country, not your country. I will accept that for now you are a citizen of this country, but you absolutely should be denaturalized and deported, not only for your fraud, not only for your financial fraud on the people of Minnesota, but for your immigration fraud, federal immigration fraud with your brother, for your obvious connections to terrorist organizations and your tacit support of Hamas and other ones who have killed Americans.

7:42But Elon saw that tweet from Ilhan and wrote this, didn't realize President Trump was visiting Somalia. Ilhan Omar is a traitor to the United States and must be expelled. I wanna just talk for a moment because he said expelled there, that there's been a lot more talk lately about denaturalization, deportation, expelling, and we are going to have to get serious about this. You may remember, I started talking about this stuff six months, if not longer ago. Re-immigration is what they're calling it in Europe. It's not just that we have to find out who the illegals are. It's not just that we have to find out who the criminals are, arrest criminals, deport illegals.

8:18It's that we now have a massive problem with people who actually are citizens who are here to destroy the country. Zorhan Mamdami, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar. And by the way, I'm not just saying this because I disagree with them politically. There are tons of people I disagree with politically. Bernie Sanders, we'll talk about him in just a moment. Timu Obama, Chuck Schumer. I mean, we can go through a long list of people that I have wide disagreements with politically, but there are people that are here quite literally to destroy our system, several of whom swore in on the Quran, not on the Bible or the Constitution, which is again, what I think they should all be swearing in on.

9:01But how do you know they're here to destroy the country? Because America was based on freedom. Freedom's our main thing. If we were exporting something, an idea let's say, then freedom would be it. You get in America the guarantee of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Think about that, life. You get to be born and we'll see what happens. Liberty is freedom, freedom from tyranny, freedom from authoritarianism. And then the most brilliant words ever written, the pursuit of happiness. We can't guarantee it, but maybe you could get out there and do something with your life because you'll have a life and you'll have freedom and then the pursuit is on you to do something.

9:40But Bernie Sanders and the rest of these people don't like any of that. They want control over your life. They want control over what you do and when you do it. They want control over the economy and who you do business with and how you manage interpersonal relations and everything else. So here's another perfect example of how much they hate the capitalist system of which this country has been built out of from Bernie Sanders. Elon Musk wealth, 2012, 2 billion. 2026, 719 billion. Jeff Bezos wealth, 2012, 18.4 billion. 2026, 255 billion. Mark Zuckerberg wealth, 2012, 17.5 billion. 2026,$212 billion.

10:20Federal minimum wage, 2009, 725. 2026, 725. Obscene, we must raise the minimum wage to a living wage. Okay, first off, it's not a zero. I can't believe I have to explain basic economics and everything else to Bernie. It's not a zero sum game. Those guys being worth more money didn't affect you in any way, Bernie. Actually, Bernie, they produce things unlike you. So they're worth those things. Bernie, when your, let's say adult diapers, when your depends show up at your door, Bernie, on Amazon and you got them same day because you ran out of them, that's because of Amazon and Jeff Bezos built that.

11:05When you, well, you know what, let's jump, I'm gonna jump ahead one video here. You wanna see what Elon's been doing? What has Elon been doing? How about this, Bernie? Do you think he's worth some money? Because he's quite literally got people in wheelchairs that can now control them with their minds. Through our clinical trials, we've been working really hard to give the world a brain-computer interface-powered wheelchair. It's designed for anyone with trouble controlling their wheelchair physically by translating their neural signals so they can control the wheelchair with their mind. So my question for you, Bernie Sanders, is how much is that worth?

11:41How much money should Elon Musk, who literally there have been people, we already have shown you videos of this, people that have been playing chess with their mind. I mean, it's science fiction at the highest possible level. Now we have people moving wheelchairs with their line. Elon tweeted about that. He said, Neuralink helping those who have lost their mind to body connection. You know, I have to say that this one is a little bit personal for me too because my good friend and incredible American, far better than Bernie Sanders and far better than me and probably most of us, my friend Dennis Prager is a quadriplegic right now.

12:14He has the tiniest bit of movement last I... That refresh you've been putting off until the right deal came along? It's here! Wayfair's Black Friday in July sale is happening now, so you can finally get the style you've been waiting for for less. Get up to 80 % off area rugs and up to 60 % off outdoor and bedroom furniture. Wayfair, every style, every home. Last I spoke to his wife in his finger, but it's almost two years.

12:51It's a year and a half right now. And if somehow he could get that Neuralink implant and he'd be able to control his wheelchair or do some other things, like, my God. But it's obviously not just Neuralink. It's also the electric cars. It's also making life interplanetary. It's also the boring company and all of those things. and you somehow think him making money off that, all of the things that Jeff Bezos did. And again, I always get into, well, it's like Jeff Bezos has a yacht that's worth 100 million bucks and you're upset about that. Okay, he's employing all of those people on that yacht and I'm gonna guess that none of them make that minimum wage and also minimum wage is not supposed to be a living wage.

13:29And also, what right does the government have to tell someone how much someone's services are worth? I pay these guys all$5 an hour and I give them a bag of peanuts on Friday. Okay, do you hear any of them complaining about it? Is anyone complaining? Nope, no, oh, want some more peanuts? Okay. I pay people well and then they, what you do is when you treat people well and you pay people well, you start building a better product and then our product has gotten better so we bring in more income. I'm able to do more things, buy new cameras, do sorts of things that allow people, I don't know, to take August off, right?

14:10Because I want my guys to also feel fresh. That's all the creation of freedom, which is what you people hate. But you have to remember, Bernie used to really hate millionaires. He hated millionaires and then he became a millionaire. So now he mostly hates billionaires. But of course, here's Bernie in 2015 hating millionaires and yeah, billionaires, but millionaires. In our great country, Millionaires and billionaires should not be able to buy elections.

14:42Okay, millionaires or billionaires should not be allowed to buy elections. We can all get on board that in some sense. The problem is, Bernie, you never talk about George Soros. You're working with all of the nonprofits that get all of those lunatics out on the streets, that take over streets and call for genocide and everything else. When you're ranting and raving about billionaires and trillionaires now, it's only because you don't like Elon Musk. There has been a shift in the culture away from the people, away from sort of your yammering and hectoring to other people who are like, actually, we'd like to keep a little bit more of ours.

15:24By the way, it is worth noting that Bernie was worth about$200 ,000 when he entered Congress. that was about 40 years ago, he's worth$3.5 million right now. There you go, Bernie. Why are you allowed to have that much money, Bernie? Again, as I always do with these guys, I'm never trying to screw anybody over, but how about we lop off the.5? 500 grand, Bernie, why don't you give it to people? Bernie Sanders, who flies on private jets, and then when he's asked about it, he's like, well, there's no other way that I could campaign. If I wasn't, I have to get to places because what I'm doing is very important.

15:57These other people should have to sit the mark of the point. By the way, Kamala Harris had 83 billionaire supporters. Donald Trump had 52 billionaire supporters for those of you tracking this at home. But let's continue with this sort of general idea that the left has sort of pushed on people, which is that somehow people who produce and create are bad. And by the way, what they're doing really with that is they're setting the conditions to kill people. This is what revolutions do. This is why people got beheaded during the French Revolution. They want you to hate those people. And again, I would say watch the Batman, the Nolan Batman trilogy, watch Gangs of New York to find out what they will do to the people on the Upper East Side when they unleash the hounds.

16:43But anyway, Elon did an interview over the last couple of days with The Economist's editor in chief, Minton Bedos. And I think I can objectively say she was unbelievably terrible as an interviewer. You know what I mean? that as an interviewer. There's a way to try to get a thoughtful answer out of somebody and push them when necessary and all that. And there's also a way to just try to sandbag somebody and frame everything so that your audience will see people in a certain light. Unfortunately for her, that doesn't really work anymore because we have a free internet where people can start sharing clips and expose what nonsense.

17:18So note how she frames this whole thing. First, it's about how much people hate you on. But do you see why this makes people think that this man who has all his power, he's the world's richest man, he thinks he has a right to influence our politics. It makes people, it's why, you know, we started this conversation saying superlatives, it's why people loathe you. I mean, some people do loathe you. Yes, some people do. But do you understand why? Do you think what you're doing is helpful for Western democracy? Maybe some people do loathe me. And that's probably true. I don't care. But the fact that, as you pointed out, a quarter billion people follow me is that I think a lot more people actually like me than don't.

18:02And I think a lot more people hate you and the media more than you realize. Bang! That's pretty great. So first off, the way she frames the question, does he have a right to get involved? Well, of course he does. Whether Elon was worth$6 or a trillion dollars, you have every right to say what you think and share your opinions. And yes, people who are popular, people who have attained followings, people who've done really cool things, sent a freaking Tesla, literally sent a car, Tesla, into space just to orbit just because he could, well, then people are gonna follow you. So what are you talking about?

18:42Do you have a right to get involved? Of course he has a right to get involved. And then that question, she basically says, people hate you, a lot of people don't like you. It's because of what you're doing to Western democracy. The guy who bought X, then Twitter, for a crazy amount of money that it was not at, it still loses money. He bought it so that we would all have access to more free speech. We had a Twitter, whether you like it or not, it is the town square in America, the digital town square of the world, really. And before the old regime on Twitter, we know for a fact was working with the United States government to silence people when it came to COVID, when it came to Hunter Biden laptop and more.

19:27That is not debatable. That is a 100 % fact, including they did it literally to me, one of my tweets, I've told you this a million times, Jim Jordan told me that at the Capitol. Okay, he then comes in, he buys it at a ridiculous valuation, way more than it was worth. And then he just allows people to say what they want more. So some people say nice things, some people say true things, some people say mean things, some people lie. But that is literally the essence of Western civilization. So what are you talking about? And then the other thing, what's his other big thing? His other big thing is borders and that we should not have savages overrunning our democracies.

20:06And she thinks that's against the West too? Like, lady, what do you think they would do to you? Here he is trying to point out that actually, although they try to pin him as a far-right maniac, he's just a centrist. I know a little something about this. Yeah, my political views are centrist. They're not far-right. and frankly calling a far right I think is an insult to history, an insult to many peoples and it is an outrageous falsehood. It's completely absurd. I literally have stated my position which is that and I've been very clear about this which is that there need to be secure borders that if If there's an influx of immigrants, there needs to be people who will agree with Western ideals, with Western values.

21:01And if they don't, and if there's a long-term growth of people who do not, or in some cases, are adamantly opposed to Western values, you are setting yourself up for civil war. This is obvious. A child can see this. But this is not a right-wing view. I'm simply stating reality. Yeah. Yeah. And I would offer, I'm gonna reach out to Elon today. We've been kicked for two years. We've been trying to bounce through the, all the hoops with doing the interview and we had a couple of booked and then I had to move one. He had to move one. We're gonna try to do it right when we get back. I think it would be pretty awesome if it was the first interview that I do when I'm back in September.

21:40But you see it. A minute ago, she's talking about how in essence, he's destroying Western civilization. He's this far right person. And then what, what is the crux? He didn't even get into the free speech part there specifically, although that's obviously part of Western civilization ideals. Basically, he's saying, what do I believe in? Well, I believe in borders, which every sane person believed in 20 years ago. Actually, every sane person believes in now. There's a bunch of insane people that don't believe in it. But she desperately wants you to think that he's the extremist. And by the way, they never do it the other way, right?

22:15You can usher in socialism. You can usher in Marxism and everything else. And will anyone in the mainstream media say that's a far left idea? They'll be like, no, they don't. They're like, oh, well, there's all this new energy on the left. Follow the energy. We're all energy chasers with no principles. Now, interestingly, as it pertains to the United States of America, people actually broadly are not into this crazy leftist, communist, socialist, Marxist jihad thing. Surprise, surprise. Here is data dork over at CNN, Steve Kornacki. Oh, no, this isn't the data. He's a kind of dork, data dork, too.

22:48This is NBC's data dork, Steve Kornacki. Who's the other data dork? What's his name? Arienton. He's the true data dork. This guy's like, give me something here. He's like a... Double A. Yeah, he's like a double A data dork. Like he could get up there one day and we're gonna hold out for him. But here he is talking about, while the majority of Democrats may view socialism positively, independents don't. And well, that could be long-term trouble for the Dems. We've been seeing it in the primary season. Socialists winning Democratic primaries, candidates from the far left. And look at this here. Among Democrats, this is that Fox poll, a majority have a favorable view of socialism.

23:30Step outside the Democratic Party. It's a totally different world. Look at independence, socialism, deeply unpopular there. OK, we're going to call him the poll poindexter for now on. The other one's the data dork. He's the poll poindexter. These just dorky guys with their numbers. OK, it's fine. But the point is, even if most Democrats are now going in on all of this stuff, okay, that'll show you how you can win some primaries, right? The extremists will win the primaries. The ratcheted up base loonies will win the primaries. But then in general elections, we are a very divided country. Most of us are not socialists.

24:05You absolutely do need independence. And independence are always the biggest growing movement right now because people are upset with both parties for whatever their reasons might be. and fortunately independents don't buy this stuff. So again, this is where, and I could be wrong. I've been wrong before once or twice. I was told I was wrong on something once. I know I don't have a recollection of it either, but somebody once told me that I just think that the midterms are gonna be okay. And I don't think they're gonna be the bloodbath, but it certainly shouldn't be overconfident. You probably shouldn't be confident at all.

24:37But with that put right there, look at this from Call Sheet. breaking Marco Rubio's odds to be the 2028 Republican nominee hit 31%, a record high. That strikes me as really good. Whether you like J.D. or you like Rubio or you like Ron DeSantis or you like Don Jr. or whoever you might like, Rubio, it seems to me, is the most obvious kind of crossover guy, crossover appeal, like his temperament is right, he's succeeding at every job he is doing, I think that there is something to that. And actually, why don't we integrate a Kalshi ad right now, as long as we're talking about that. Guys, you know about Kalshi.

25:23Kalshi is like buying or selling a stock, except the line isn't set by an algorithm working against you. It moves based on where the money goes. It shows where people are actually putting their money, not what the media wants you to believe. So if you put$100 on yes, Marco Rubio, you can earn$307 if correct. Download the CallShe app and use code RubenReport to get up to$500 in bonus credits when you trade 25 bucks or go to callshi.com slash RubenReport. So speaking of Marco Rubio, obviously we are now, we went from the hot war part of the Iran thing, then we had our negotiation part. Now we're in like a little more tit for tat war, hot, cold, warm, wet, up, down, tight, loose, blah, blah, blah.

26:05Ha ha, here's Rubio articulating the next step in Trump's strategy here. I saw, you know, guys, I saw Arachi, their foreign minister, who the other day say something about their policies, an eye for an eye. The president's policy is a head for an eye. I mean, honestly, that's what it's going to be. I mean, they will pay a very heavy price. They're probably not ready to do a deal yet, but they will be soon because the price they're paying is very high. despite their tough talk and their flowery language, despite all that bravado, they are suffering tremendously and they're going to suffer more until they come to their center.

26:38Okay. So this is, the reason this is interesting, and then we're going to leave the Iran thing at that for today's show, is that Rubio has been kind of quiet over the last little bit, right? Rubio, think about it. If we started the war, Rubio was right front and center, laying out why we're doing it, what are we doing, et cetera, et cetera. Then they let Vance basically jump in and handle the negotiations. You can argue they went well or didn't go well, I mean, we're just sort of in this no man's land right now, leave that there. But him getting back in and saying, the president is now engaged and that we are ready to do some damage again, strikes me as Rubio's got a lot of cred, people know he's not gonna say something if he doesn't mean it.

27:19So I think there is something interesting in the offing right there. But let's shift for a moment from the war situation back to the radicalization happening in the Democrat Party, because this is a far greater threat to the United States of America than which way the Iran war at this point goes. I would argue that the internal threat of a political party that is aimed at destroying our country from within is a much bigger threat. So watch this. And I'm also, I'm sort of amazed that they keep putting these DSA people out there because all of them, they are so young. It is so obvious that they don't have jobs, or they haven't built anything.

28:01They don't have enough life experience. Most of them don't seem even like they're married or have children, but they're out there and they're just committed to the cause. So this is Democrat Socialists of America Chair Megan Romer. She went on Fox to clarify. Fox went out of their way to allow her to step back from some of these crazy positions, but instead she just went all in. Take a look. So we're gonna put up on the screen a few of the things that are part of your platform. And I wanna ask you, just give me sort of a true or false on these. Abolish the Senate. True. Okay, replace the presidency and Supreme Court as we now know them.

28:37Yep. Abolish ICE. Absolutely. Abolish borders and give amnesty to anyone currently in the U.S. illegally. As a long-term plan, yep. Defund the Pentagon. Absolutely. Abolish prisons, at least in large part. Yeah, again, as part of a long-term program, yeah. Okay, so no prisons. Government or public ownership of most large corporations? Yeah, absolutely. All right, so what I would ask you is what do we do with this? These people, you may think she's ridiculous. They all sound ridiculous. These policies are all ridiculous. You can say all that, but they are taking over the party. I just don't see how you could view it in any other way.

29:26I think that that is objectively true. That's not me editorializing. Like these people are everywhere right now. They're winning the primaries again, because most people don't vote. They get a very ginned up base. They organize well, all of the stuff. They have tons of NGO money and everything else, but they're doing it. Eliminate the Senate. So eliminate the three branches of government, replace the president and the Supreme Court, abolish borders. Like these are all things that are fundamentally at odds with the founding of America. This is what suicidal empathy is. Why should we allow for a political movement in our country designed to destroy our country?

30:06Well, we want to be nice. They're just saying these things. We're nice people. We're liberal and we're kind and we don't want to hurt anybody's feelings about anything as they ransack the kitchen and rape your daughter. So I don't know exactly what we are supposed to do here. And my fear actually, and I will spend a lot of time thinking about this in August, I promise you. My fear would be, do we actually, even Donald Trump himself, does he, but I'll do it as we, do any of us actually have the balls to do what it would take to stop this thing? Or are we just gonna hand the keys to the kingdom away?

30:45Meaning, do we have to ban a political party right now? Like you can't ban an idea. So you guys wanna have bad ideas, fine. but should we allow for political movements and political parties to be part of our mainstream discourse that are quite literally aimed at destroying the Constitution of the United States? The first one, eliminate the Senate. I mean, eliminate one of the branches of government. That's a non-starter. That's a non-starter. Of course, we have a terrorist sympathizer as the mayor of New York City, so maybe we're a little deep in this stuff already, but the point is they are taking over, But don't take my word for it.

31:21Here is Timo Obama once again with his wide, big tent argument, which makes no sense. The Democratic Party is not a cult of personality. We're a coalition of public servants. Our diversity of thought, perspective and life experience, like what Bob brings to the table, is a strength, not a weakness. We are one Big Ten united by a shared commitment to fighting for an affordable America. So that's interesting. So he's trying to define what the Big Ten is. It's to fight for an affordable America. Now they believe it's through the ideas of socialism. That's the problem because the ideas of socialism, giant government control and redistribution and the people owning the means of production and all of those things, and it eventually will become communism.

32:12That again is against what human freedom is. It's against the individual rights. It's against what the founders intended this country to be. So what he's, in essence, what Timo Obama is saying there is I don't really have the balls to stop these crazy people. So as I keep describing it, yes, you want a big tent. MAGA is a big tent because it's wrapped around freedom. It's wrapped around the love of America so that a guy like Bobby Kennedy could come in. And even if he doesn't agree with everything that Donald Trump wants, like I'm sure Bobby Kennedy was again, and I know I asked him, he was against the reversal of Roe v.

32:49Wade, but he can put that aside because it falls somewhere within his hierarchy of importance. And then he could be like, but Donald Trump is gonna say defend borders. And that's very important to me. Like it's important to Elon. Thus Elon can become part of the MAGA Y tent. So you're not burning down the tent poles. You're actually expanding the size of a tent. And then it's tough. Then you got the bearded lady in with the guy that's taming the lions and you gotta make sure these people don't kill each other. but that's the work of what a good politician can do and what a good political movement can do.

33:19That's in stark contrast to what they're doing. They're saying, we have a wide tent. Everyone come in, oh, and there's a bunch of arsonists here and they're gonna burn the tent down and we're also allowing a bunch of people with hatchets and they're gonna be hacking away at the poles that hold the tent up but we're for diversity or something like that. So they have no balls and here's another perfect example of it. Pete Buttigieg, I'm a guy who was, All he ever was was the mayor of South Bend, Indiana. He has done nothing, accomplished nothing of his life. Then he was transportation secretary.

33:49You tell me something that he actually did while doing it, and he will likely run for president. Here he is, and again, he has no balls. I don't think Pete Buttigieg in his heart is a socialist communist nut bag. During one of the debates when he was running against Bernie, whatever that was, six, eight years ago, he turned to Bernie and he said, you wanna burn it down because he knew what Bernie was. So I don't even think he's one of them, But watch, he has no balls in how you'd stop them. Before you go, I mean, has this socialist wave, I mean, you're sitting in New York City, we've got a socialist mayor in New York City, Zorim Amdani.

34:22Is it gone too far, do you believe? Look, there's always going to be some people in my party who go too far for me, people I disagree with. If you pick the five or 10 or 15 furthest left people in our party, they're going to, by definition, disagree with a lot of others. But there's so much that we do, in fact, agree on. And I think one of the reasons why you see people who run on a promise of shaking it up, whether it's a DSA candidate on the left or whether it's someone like Donald Trump, is because people can tell that the system we have is not just showing its age, it's letting us down. OK, Pete, I'll try.

34:59I'm going to try here for a second to take your word for that. So you think that there are some ideas that shouldn't be in your party. If we were to take the 15, what do you say, the 10 or 15 people who are the furthest left, if that would be a problem, how about you name them? How about you tell me what your problem with Zorhan Mamdami is? He represents the furthest left wing, the Islamist left wing, the communist left wing. How about you say something, put out a one-liner tweet. You know, I've got a little bit of an issue with Zorhan and the endless jihad. Could you do that, Pete? But you know Pete won't do it because they don't have any balls.

35:36They don't really stand for anything other than attaining power. So they will lie along the way. So here's a perfect example of the lying. Over the weekend, Zorhan was once again doing his Everything is Socialism. Everything that the government has ever done is socialism, which is a complete lie. And it was also pointing out that libraries, that libraries are an example of socialism. Well, my buddy Joe Lonsdale, co-founder of Palantir Retile, here he is on Fox debunking that nonsense. Well, Joe, what do you say to the argument that Zoram Amdani made to Jon Stewart and many of these DSA and, in fact, Democrat candidates make, which is, hey, you enjoy Social Security.

36:18Do you enjoy the DMV? Do you enjoy the post office? Do you enjoy libraries? Well, that is courtesy of democratic socialism. Yeah, the library actually in New York was Andrew Carnegie, right? Actually was a huge gift at the beginning of the century, as were most libraries. They're created by capitalists. And the wealth that makes America exceptional, the wealth that makes all these people doing so much better. I mean, listen, move to Africa, right? Move to a poor country that doesn't have a free society. Move to socialist Nicaragua. Move to a place where they'll take away everyone's guns and then take away their money.

36:49like obviously you want to be a poor person in a rich world. The things that are broken, the fact that we have traffic even, that our government's incompetent, won't let us build cheap tunnels with Elon Musk, right? Yeah, exactly, right. I love how he connected it to then to the boring company with Elon Musk and that no, it was Carnegie and other rich people who gave endowments to schools and created libraries and all of those things. And by the way, it's such a thin little nothing that they do. They seem to think that every time you point out about a public service. So a library is a public service.

37:20They take some of your local taxes and put it towards the library. That that means it's socialism. And it's just not true because the choice then would be either you're a complete anarcho-capitalist, right? So you believe in no government, you know, you basically mad max. By the way, this is what my friend, Michael Malice believes in. Like I'm not, I don't believe in it. Most people don't believe it. It is extremely fringe view, but if you wanna make the argument that there should be just no government, no taxation, no nothing, but that's certainly not the argument that the lefties are making, or everything is socialism.

37:51It's just profoundly absurd. Of course, the other, so he's ushering in socialism, which is absurd. The other thing is he's slowly ushering in jihad, and that is a fact. He is ushering in jihad with an endless obsession of a hatred of Israel, which is, I'm sorry, it is just a hatred of the Jews. That's like, not to overcomplicate it, it just is. There's 50 Muslim nations, horrible for everybody, no minorities there, no gay rights or anything else. He doesn't have a problem with any of them. He just has a problem with this tiny little place the size of New Jersey where the Jews live. And he's mostly annoyed about it because those are Jews with guns who are defending themselves.

38:29And he wants Jews to live as dimmies. So on Friday in New York City, you probably saw there was another stabbing, a man accused of stabbing Asian and Jewish men in New York charged with hate crimes. And yes, of course he yelled Allahu Akbar. So Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports was on Fox over the weekend being asked about whether anti-Semitism has gotten worse under Mondani. Do you think anti-Semitism has gotten worse under Mayor Mondani? Of course it has. When you have the mayor giving press conferences like he did two days ago or three days ago, like it's the State of the Union saying Israel's committing genocide over and over, and Netanyahu's a war criminal that he wants to arrest even though he knows he cannot arrest.

39:14And you say these things to 90 million people like it's a statement of fact, like tonight it'll get dark, Israel's committing genocide, without giving any leeway or other side of the room. But absolutely, when you have the mayor of a city who's continually demonizing Israel and Jews, what do you expect to happen? You have one loony to yell in Allah Akbar and stabbing somebody. He has to look himself in the mirror. What scares me, Stuart? I'm not sure he cares. Well, Dave, I mean this with respect, because obviously I agree with what you said there. He does care. This is exactly what he wants. He wants to globalize the Intifada.

39:52This is it. We're going to get to more stabbings that happened all over the world. in a later segment. But Israel had to deal with this 15 years ago. They had like a year where there were stabbings left and right all the time. It's just another version of go out there and create fear, murder people, Allahu Akbar and the rest of it. And no one is, so again, here's where Pete, I'll be generous with you, Pete. You wanna be president, you wanna run the Democrat party. Okay, Pete, I actually don't, as I said, And I don't think you're a complete, I think you're wrong on a lot of things, but I don't think you hate the country.

40:28I think that you're just sort of a big government Democrat that's wrong about some stuff. But I could accept if one day you won a free and fair election, I could accept that Pete Buttigieg would be president of the United States and I'd probably be doing my show, railing against most of the things he was doing, but I don't think you'd be a jihadist or communist trying to destroy the country. So Pete, again, my challenge would be, how about you say something about Sorhan? Don't say, oh, but there are 10 or 15 people out there who are saying bad things. How about you name them? And when you get those balls, Pete, I will give you some credit.

41:02There is one Democrat with balls. You know who he is. Actually, his head looks like a giant testicle. John Fetterman. It's America, the government workers, and our reputation. Well, I will say on behalf of many Republicans out there, I think we would love to have you as part of the Republican Party. I'm just throwing it out there, Senator. I don't know if they would want me or not. But my whole family is a Republican, and I think they love me. I'm sure they do. I'm sure they do. Maybe my dad's watching it. But overall, my criticism directed is at the extreme, and in my view, indefensible kinds of views, things.

41:47people that are winning the primaries, they are almost always anti-Israel and then anti-American. And they've been forced to delete all the outlandish things they've said there. Right. Let me add, and Fetterman, in case you're watching today, maybe you could do this. You know, the anti-Israel thing is just the placeholder for the anti-America thing. Try to imagine. Okay, so whatever it is they want, they blow up Israel. So they kill 10 million Jews. You'd have to kill about 2 million Muslims to, you'd have to just, you know, whatever. Whatever it is that they want. Imagine they got that apocalyptic dream that they want.

42:25Do you think the day after all of the DSA guys here and all of the ones that are all over Europe and the Islamists and everybody, they're like, guys, we did it. Let's just have a party tonight. Somebody get the chips and dip. We're done. No, then it's on. Then the game is on. So show me somebody, the second they do it, the second they do it, guys, it's game on for every Western society. So they won't do it. You don't have to thank Israel or anything else. I don't think they want thanks. I think they most prefer to be left alone, something like that. But they are now at the tip of the spear of defending what is becoming an increasingly precarious position for the Western world.

43:12and you better realize that. And I think Fetterman really, even the way Laura Trump, and I had Laura Trump on the show last week, and if you watch our interview, I talked with her about, well, what does a wide tent mean without throwing away all of its ideals? So she can sit there and go, Fetterman, they obviously, they disagree on abortion, they probably disagree on some healthcare stuff, or we could figure out what those five or seven things are. But she's going, you could come over here and we could work together and try to fix some problems because that is what the functional wide tent of the Republican Party is.

43:44Here is Caroline Levitt talking to Laura Trump about how out of control the communists have got. The Democrat Party has totally capitulated to the communists within their ranks. Communism has never worked, and it's very scary that a major political party in this country, the Democrat Party, is being controlled by communists, and their only real answer to any problem is to just take more from the individuals who make that country great and give it to the government. We live in the best country in the history of the world. That's what our children should be taught. That's why so many people from all over this world are dying to come here, literally traveling from all over the world because they believe in the promise of the American dream that was built on capitalism, on the free market, on small business enterprise.

44:33And all of that will go away if we turn into a communist state. History tells us so. Yeah, and again, so I would just connect that to where I started the show today. So the real question, we can all make fun of the DSA people and they're dirty and they're smelly and they all need to see a dentist and they don't have jobs and they're committed to the revolution and they're actually really just affluent kids who learned all the wrong things. We can do that all day long. The real question is, okay, you're right. Everything you said there is right, Caroline Levitt, but what are we actually going to do?

45:03And my suspicion is one of the reasons this revolution is burning so hot right now is they kind of know we're not gonna do anything. Like that we'll just kind of let it happen. Like I think there is a part of a free society that it is just built in like, oh yeah, it'll be fine. Everything, one way or another will work out. Like why wouldn't things work out? Things work out. Like we're free people. Everyone likes to be free and decent. And we don't even truly understand that there are people that are quite literally telling us, guys, we're here to destroy your civilization. We're actually here to do it.

45:34We wanna destroy everything that your civilization was founded upon. We're here to do it. We keep saying it and you guys don't listen to us. So the real question will be not whether Caroline Levitt can effectively communicate that or whether I can talk about it or Donald Trump can say the communists won't take over. The real question is what are we going to do with it, about it, and again, I don't know what the answer to that is. However, you may as well lose a couple pounds while you're thinking about it. So let's talk about lean. Guys, everybody's talking about weight loss injections because the results can be so dramatic.

46:02They work by lowering blood sugar and reducing appetite. But if you're looking to lose weight and aren't interested in weekly injections or some of the side effects that come with them, there's another option. Doctors created a weight loss supplement called Lean. Its studied ingredients have been shown to help lower blood sugar, support your body's ability to burn fat for energy, and curb appetite and cravings so you're not going hungry. Lean isn't for someone just trying to lose a couple pounds. Brickhouse Nutrition designed it for people with 10 or more pounds to lose who are looking for extra support alongside a healthy diet and exercise plan.

46:33Right now, you can get 20 % off plus free rush shipping Just visit TakeLean.com and use promo code Rubin. That's TakeLean.com, promo code Rubin. All right, so let's keep going here. So, you know, Pete, it's like, well, I think that some of these guys are bad, but I'm not gonna say any of their names. That's more of a Kermit the Frog, but okay, something. And now let's jump back to Timo Obama, Hakeem Jeffries, because he is the leader. He's the really presumptive leader of the Democrats right now. You know, it really is actually Mamdami, but, you know, Hakeem is the titular leader of the, There's a word for the day of the lead of the Democrat Party right now.

47:08Here he is, Dana Bash. You know, I love Dana Bash, asking if he's going to hold any votes on abolishing ICE or any of this stuff. And he just hasn't. Nobody's even brought it up to him. He doesn't know what's going on. I think one of the things that some of those who are winning their primaries and will likely be in office want to know is if you are going to agree to hold votes on abolishing ICE, opening borders, things of that nature. Will you? Well, I've spoken to several of the incoming members of Congress across the ideological spectrum. Not a single person has raised those issues. Like, I can't.

47:52I can't with this guy. I really can't. Really, nobody's brought it up. They're campaigning on opening borders. They're campaigning on abolishing ICE. You're supposed to be the leader and you're talking to him and nobody's brought it up. What is it that you people talk about? What is it that you talk about? Do you just talk about transing kids the entire time? Is that it? Is there anything else? Nobody's brought it up. But that's not even what the real answer should be. The answer should be Dana, or it should be, hey Dana, thank you for the question. Actually, I'm the leader of the Democrats in the House, and I'm telling you right now, we're not gonna open the borders again.

48:26They may have some disagreements on what we're gonna do with ICE, and I don't really like ICE, you know that's true, Dana, but we're not gonna flood the country with illegals again. We're not gonna open the border. We're not gonna do that. But he can't even say that because they are afraid of their own reflections. Here is Chris Van Hollen. You know this guy, he's the senator from Maryland who, big fan of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the guy who beat his wife with a boot, who was also a human trafficker, member of a El Salvadorian gang. He went down there, had a margarita with him. He also, there he is having a margarita with him.

49:00Oh, you beat your wife with a boot? How's the tequila? He's now campaigning for Abdul Al-Sayed, the Egyptian in Michigan. Do you want a senator who's going to take on a lawless ICE operation? You know, March last year in Maryland, there was this fellow by the name of Kilmar Braygo Garcia. He was abducted by Trump's ICE forces. Yeah, and then he continues to tell you what a great guy Abrego Garcia is. But okay, we want money out of politics, the AIPAC, blah, blah, blah, blah. No, they're getting tons of money. They're getting tons of money. We want Medicare for all. It's meaningless drivel. How are you gonna force doctors to do anything?

49:49And Obamacare made the machine bigger. And are people running around now going, oh my God, healthcare is so much better than it was 15 years ago? Obviously not, or you bitches wouldn't be complaining about it. But everything they say is psychotic. And here's a man who looks like a walking, oh, try to be nice, Dave. You're only on the grid for one more week. Here's a great guy, Sri Fandakar. And here he is explaining what Congress needs to do about ICE. This, you know, we must pass a bill in Congress to end qualified immunity. I brought a bill in Congress. There is one right now in U.S. Congress that qualified immunity for ICE agents must end.

50:35And if necessary, ICE must be abolished because the ICE as it operates currently is out of control. I'm sorry, I can't do it. He looks like a rejected Muppet. That's what he looks like. They were literally gonna put him on the Muppet show and they were like, this looks insane. Sure, we've got a pig with lipstick over here and a frog with a, but no, this guy is just a bit much. He wants to end qualified immunity for ICE agents. Okay, yes, yes, the real problem in America is that too many ICE agents are getting away with it. You people are all terrible. And speaking of terrible people, Chicago mayor.

51:10No, it's not Lori Lightfoot anymore. It got worse after her. I mean, how they did it, you just have to wonder. His name is Brandon Johnson. As you know, can I get the numbers on how many people were shot in Chicago over the weekend? Let's find out. and they were all black people shot by black people. You don't even have to Google that to know it. Here he is and he wants reparations for people who've been affected by ICE. I believe the most relevant ballot referenda question around receiving reparations for communities that experienced that hardship and whether that was on the west side of Chicago or the black man being placed in an illegal chokehold or long guns being stuck into the faces of women and children zip tied and thrown in vehicles, kidnapped, shot at.

51:56I mean, police officers, tear gas, right? And so the updated policy and the spirit of my executive order, there's stronger alignment to create a pathway for accountability. Oh, he's suddenly concerned about people who got shot at. He's never concerned about the amount of people who got shot in Chicago. Do we have the numbers? What are the numbers? Let's see. 20 were injured by gunfire, including a young child this weekend in Chicago, at least four killed. So I'd say that's kind of on average. Obviously doesn't say anything about those people because they were black people who shot other black people.

52:29But yes, you deserve reparations if you had your iced tea spilled on you while ice was trying to get a meth induced rapist from moving from your porch, okay? But now this is my favorite segment of what we are doing today. Several videos came out over the weekend that I think perfectly illustrate how radical the Democrat Party was. So we're gonna show you some videos of Barack Obama from 2008, from Bill and Hillary Clinton and some others, on where the Democrats were in times past and try to contrast that with where they are at now. But don't just contrast it with the radicals like Bernie and Abdul Saeed, contrast it with the guys who are trying to pretend they're the moderates like Timo Obama or Pete Buttigieg.

53:13Here is Barack Obama, lefty icon, on hope and change Barack Obama in 2008, listen to him on the border and people who hire illegals. We all agree on the need to better secure the border and to punish employers who choose to hire illegal immigrants. This administration, the Bush administration, has done nothing to control the problem that we have. We've had 5 million undocumented workers come over the borders since George Bush took office. I mean, guys, is that absolutely wild? If the lady from The Economist was interviewing Barack Obama, she'd be calling him Barack Obama from 2008, far right. He used to believe in a border.

54:00He used to believe that if you hire illegals, it is actually against American workers. That's what the Democrat Party was. And he was, not only that, he was upset that the Republican Party wasn't good enough on borders. they let 5 million people in. Here's a little compilation of Bill and Hillary Clinton from 95 and 96. All Americans, not only in the states most heavily affected, but in every place in this country are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country. As to illegal aliens, we agree with you that we do not think the comprehensive health care benefits should be extended to those who are undocumented workers and illegal aliens.

54:45President Clinton doubled border agents, a thousand more for California, signed a tough anti-illegal immigration law protecting U.S. workers. 160 ,000 illegal immigrants and criminals deported. A record. Think how insane that is. You could literally, maybe we'll do it. Could we take that commercial right there and just put it to Trump? And people would say, he's not strong enough on the border. What is going on here? What happened to these people? But remember, whether you were a Republican back then or a Democrat back then, and I, and I should be judged accordingly when I meet my maker one day, did vote for Barack Obama twice.

55:20So nobody's perfect. But you could see, like, okay, these guys were somewhat sane. If anything, they were more hardcore than the Republicans in the Senate are right now because Trump can't even get the freaking Save Act passed. Here's Bill Clinton. This is great. We're gonna put this to Trump. We're gonna put this to Trump. This is a 1992 Bill Clinton ad. New generation of Democrats, Bill Clinton and Al Gore, and they don't think the way the old Democratic Party did. They've called for an end to welfare as we know it, so welfare can be a second chance, not a way of life. They've sent a strong signal to criminals by supporting the death penalty, and they've rejected the old tax-and-spend politics.

55:59Clinton's balanced 12 budgets, and they've proposed a new plan investing in people, detailing$140 billion in spending cuts they'd make right now. Clinton Gore for People for a Change. Guys, I mean, it's rather extraordinary. That is what a Democrat, that's what Democrats were trying to angle to be in 1992. End welfare. Death penalty. Now they want to open prisons. They want everyone on welfare and endless welfare, right? They want to open prisons. They used to be for the death penalty. Balanced budgets. The Democrats don't care about budgets at all. And spending cuts. Imagine if any Democrat anywhere ran on spending cuts.

56:40They can't. They want endless money laundering. They don't want any spending cuts. So again, when they call Elon far right, when they call Donald Trump or me or you far right, understand that far right just means you were a Democrat in 1992. And Bill Clinton was also sodomizing an intern with a cigar while on the phone with Trent Lott. And those were the Democrats when they were good guys. That's the point. You know what they would have done, those Democrats? They would have voted for the SAVE Act. So interestingly, as you know, the SAVE Act is completely hung up right now. They may have to blow up the filibuster, but it's unclear if Trump will be able to wrangle 51 Republicans because the Republicans aren't great either.

57:25But this is now to the backdrop. We're running out of time for them to do this too because the Senate goes on vacation. They do their own little off the grid thing. These people don't work very hard. We work hard here. They don't work very hard. The Senate goes into recess August 10th through September 14th. So they are completely hung up right now. The House goes into recess. So here is Representative Anna Paulina Luna regarding what is happening with John Thune and this issue around the filibuster. He just doesn't wanna blow up the filibuster because he just loves rules, but actually maybe that's not really what's going on here.

58:00What do you think John Thune is gonna do with the Save America Act once it gets to the Senate? Well, there's certain things that the House is trying to do specifically with monetary incentivizing and reconciliation, but it doesn't necessarily mean that there's an enforcement law. And I really think that John Thune is hiding behind the filibuster because he doesn't want to put, and this is what I've heard directly, he doesn't want to put his members in a tough position right before midterm with a tough vote. So that should just go to show how out of touch the Senate is because voter ID is literally a 90-10 issue.

58:33and I don't really think that the Senate, you know, aside from a few, really represents what the interests of the American people. Okay, so what she's pointing out there is that he's hiding behind the filibuster, meaning that they would need, in a normal version of what the Senate would have to do, they would have to get the majority, right? So you're gonna need 60 plus votes. You can blow up the filibuster and do a simple majority, which would be 51. There are more than 50 Republican senators and you have JD as the tiebreaker. She's saying Thune is hiding behind it basically being like, I don't wanna blow up the filibuster so that it can't even get to a vote.

59:05So he's making sure that these Republicans that are on the fence, which Susan Collins and Tom Tillis and a couple others that are wishy-washy on this, he doesn't even wanna show, and apparently he's wishy-washy on this too, he doesn't want them to be exposed right now. So Donald Trump has just about had it with John Thune and he wrote this on Truth Social this morning. John Thune should not allow the United States Senate to leave town until it passes the Save America Act or far better still terminates the filibuster where Republicans can then quickly pass everything they ever dreamed of, including a full and deep-throated Save America Act, the budget and the ever-looming debt ceiling disaster, 1929.

59:46The Democrats will do it on a day one and can't believe how lucky they got with the Senate leadership. Remember, stupidity always brings losing and death. President Donald J. Trump, the deep throat references, one that I think Trump, even he, you gotta be impressed with that. But this is it. What are you doing, John Thune? Why not just get it to a vote? But you won't even allow the vote to happen. And again, with this procedural stuff, we're the side that generally likes procedure and the proper way for things to be done. If we do not get the SAVE Act passed, why do you think we should believe that any election going forward will be legit?

1:00:32Or once the Democrats open up the borders again, which 1992 Democrats were against, but these Democrats are for, otherwise get me Pete on the record saying he's not for it, then they will just flood and overwhelm the system because illegals will be voting. That is not science fiction, that is current reality. Check this out though, we do have a couple senators that are decent people. One of them right here in Florida, Senator Ashley Moody, right here in Florida, just became the fourth senator supporting canceling August recess until the Save America Act passes, her office just told us. The Senate needs to stay in session until we can get the Save America Act to the floor and passed.

1:01:10Mike Lee, Utah, Rick Scott, Florida, so two for two here in Florida. Jim Banks, Indiana, and Ashley Moody. I didn't come to the United States Senate because I needed something to do. I'm serving because there are things we need to get done for the American people. And then there's a little editorialization by Eric Daughtry. The point of all of this, guys, is that we have some decent people and they need our help. I'm so proud to say that our two, and unsurprised also that our two senators here in Florida are for canceling recess. My guess is recess will not, not my guess, 100 % recess will not be canceled.

1:01:44I won't be on the grid to find out, but there is no way they will cancel recess. These people want a vacation. But there are some decent Republicans. They are trying very hard. And to Anna Paluna's point, within the Republican party, it's something like a 95 to five issue. And overall, it's about an 80-20 issue. So there's an easy win here. And what does it tell you about a political party or a political leadership, in this case, John Thune, that won't take a win when the win is staring you in the face? Well, you should make your decision on that. Here is one of the good ones, Senator Mike Lee from Utah, talking about what the Senate should do right now.

1:02:16Both simultaneously be back into session in the Capitol until, wait for it, September 14th. Mid-September. This is the last week, absent some change, in the respective chambers' meeting schedule. The last legislative week until mid-September, which will take us to just, what, what is that, six weeks before the November election? That is unacceptable. We don't have a lack of time, Mr. President. We have a lack of spine. Don't ever confuse lack of time with lack of spine because they're two very different things. If we truly lacked time, that would be one thing. We've got time. We're just choosing not to use it.

1:03:00Yeah, and that's true. And Thune, it's on you, man. Like, okay, you don't want to blow up the filibuster? Just call it to a vote and let it fail them, right? Like if you're not going to get the 61, which you're not going to get because no Democrats are going to go with you, how about you just put it to a vote and let's see how many Republicans come along. And the thing is, what's gonna happen is you're gonna get 52 or 53 Republicans. And again, plus you have the JD vote. And then it's gonna expose you because you don't wanna blow up the filibuster. But once you would see the votes, you'd see 52, 53 votes, and then you'd realize, oh, if I blow up the filibuster, we can do it.

1:03:33But for some reason, Thune does not want this thing passed. Now, of course, to the back, and again, I wanna give Mike Lee a lot of credit. I wanna give Ashley Moody, and it was Rick Scott and one or two others. They owe their credit because they're willing to give up their vacation. And these people never, like, we think of them all as just like, ah, they're just all awful, always taking for themselves. Well, a couple of them are actually willing to give up their recess to get this done. And unfortunately, it's not gonna work. What the Democrats, of course, will continue to do is even though more and more illegal voting and the voter roll thing in Jersey we covered last week is continually being exposed here, they're just gonna go out of their way to make you think that what you're seeing is not something that you're actually seeing.

1:04:13Democrats have repeatedly said that non-citizen voting doesn't happen. It happened. Is this a problem? I think that I continue to have confidence in state and local authorities in making sure that there's going to be a free and fair election in November. So they're introducing again more chaos into the electoral system for no reason at all because we don't have a problem with illegal aliens voting in the country. That's simply not an issue. I mean, again, good for her for transparency and talking about it and get and those people are no longer on the rolls. And and look, that is good. The question is, like, does Trump now, and we're seeing this already, use it to prove a point that doesn't exist?

1:05:01Why is this moment different? We have never had a president like Donald Trump, whose ambition, whose sole focus and desire, it seems, is to overturned the election and cheated the election. Look, they're all horrible, I know you know that, but that woman Molly Jong-Fastler talks like a little Catherine Hepburn-y like that. That was the dumbest, I mean, again, I always say it's the dumbest thing I ever heard, like the list of dumbest things I've ever heard, which I will be purging out of my mind in August, I promise you. But she basically was like, oh, it's good that we, that the governor of New Jersey purged those roles and we found out that there were illegals being put on the roles.

1:05:33But Trump's, if Trump does anything about it, it's just not a problem. If Trump says anything, it's just not even a problem. But I just said it was a problem, but it's not. Like every, every single thing. And again, one more time, this isn't introducing chaos as Raskin said, or it's not handing power to Trump, just a national ID, that's it. And if you have 10 issues with it, did women change their name when they got married and everything else, then just create a government program with a bit of a time of window that gives every single person in America an opportunity to get that ID. and if you're at an old age home, we'll send people to you.

1:06:09We will forward printers to black people who don't have access to printers. We can do all of those things and that would be what sane people would do. You'd go, oh, having some sort of national ID so we can all have equal faith in our elections and we would have election day instead of election month would be good and let's just create the conditions to do that. But of course they don't wanna do that. Now watch this clip. When I always tell you that the media is just completely in the pocket of the Democrats. This is such a perfect example of it. So we already showed you some out of the interview with Elon and just the skewed way they do things.

1:06:45This is Margaret Brennan over on CBS News. And first off, watch her body language and watch the way she frames everything around the SAVE Act, which again, is just so that every single person, not Republican or whether it's a Republican or Democrat or whatever, everyone would have the exact same access. You would just have to prove who you are. to vote, watch how she frames this entire thing as if it's some scary Republican operative and then watch national treasure, John Kennedy, shut it down. And the SAVE Act, as you know, or even some version of it is highly partisan, highly controversial, bigger picture.

1:07:25Isn't it going to hurt faith in our election process if a Republican only policy to change how elections are run is rammed through less than 100 days out from the election? No. In my opinion, for both sides to have credibility in the elections, in our elections, we need to do two things and only two things. Number one, you have to prove you are who you say you are in order to register to vote and to vote. And number two, however you decide to vote, that's up to the states. we need to go back to having an election day, not an election month. Everything with her, the body language leaning in, and it would be highly partisan, and it would be highly controversial.

1:08:11Well, I'm sorry, there's one party that wants no IDs to vote, and that actually is a problem, but you never want to call them out on that. And then, of course, as he points out, no, it's, yes, I understand that you people would call it partisan, and I understand you people would make it an extreme right-wing talking point, everything else, But in reality, all he says is prove who you are, not a big deal, and election day instead of election month. That's it. But for some reason, John Thune doesn't want it. And for some reason, Margaret Brennan and the Democrats don't want it. You might wanna think about that.

1:08:42Now I wanna kind of tie everything together here because if we don't have valid elections that we all trust, when the Democrats take over, again, this is it. I am telling you, they are just gonna flood the country. They're gonna overwhelm the rolls. They are telling us they wanna take out the Senate. they wanna pack the courts, they wanna make D.C. a state. It could all walk away real quick. And as I said at the top of the show, I just don't know that any of us are gonna do anything about it. And I include myself in that. I just honestly have no idea. And what happens when you flood a country with people who maybe don't like you?

1:09:12Well, you get all sorts of bad stuff. As you know, in New York City, over the weekend, we showed you this before, a man accused of stabbing Asian and Jewish men in New York charged with hate crimes. And yes, of course, he yelled Allahu Akbar. This is also to the backdrop of a governor, of a mayor, sorry, who is for globalizing the Intifada. That's exactly what's happening. But it's not just happening in New York City. Here is Fox 9 reporting on what happened in Minnesota over the weekend. Charging documents say 30-year-old Segab Binesu told investigators he had planned to join the military and sold his car.

1:09:46He called the leasing office to cancel his parking contract, but was told he couldn't do that. Binesu admits then going to the office, but did not say what happened there. However, court documents show that a surveillance camera inside the office caught everything as it unfolded. Binesu was arrested hours later, about 100 miles away in Virginia, Minnesota, in one of the victim's cars. Binesu had on him his passport, Social Security guard, his permit to carry, and an empty magazine. All right, so that guy killed those two women. You're not going to hear their names from any Democrat. No one will care.

1:10:20Probably won't even make national news. that was local affiliate there, may not even make Fox News, right? Like it just doesn't. And Fox is good about these things, but it certainly won't make CNN and it's not gonna make ABC or NBC or anything else. And the problem is we have plenty of evidence as to what happens if you let these people into your country and they don't do what Elon was warning us about. If you bring people in who hold values that are at odds with Western values, they will destroy your country from the inside. And then Elon said it, you will end up in a civil war. And that is likely where some Western countries are, Western European countries are headed.

1:10:56Over in Germany, over the weekend, they had their gay pride parade. And as always, queers for Palestine, very different from Palestine for queers, because in this case, an Islamist by the name of Abdul Balot drove through the parade of trans people and gender queer furries and everything else. And well, fortunately, he was killed. Fox News alert. You are looking live at Berlin, Germany. The Associated Press is reporting that at least one person is dead and several others are injured after a car drove through a pride parade near the Brandenburg Gate. Authorities say a manhunt is now underway for one or more suspects and have told people to evacuate the scene.

1:11:34Police say some of the victims are dealing with life-threatening injuries. It was worth noting he was shot dead, thankfully, while attacking officers with a knife. So this knife intifada thing, which again, Israel lived through a decade ago, does seem to be expanding. Now, if you wanna just see how backwards everything is and why societies don't last forever, you need only watch this video. This is video of the organizers of the Berlin Pride Parade. And here they are telling us that we shouldn't politicize what happened. An Islamist drove his car to kill as many of you queens as possible. And you just don't want this to be politicized because, oh my God, we would be upset about the jihadists.

1:12:18And somehow, I mean, it is suicidal empathy on crack. Watch this. As the CSD organizers in Berlin, we are distraught about what happened yesterday. Our thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones, and everybody who has been affected by this terrible event. We would like to offer our thanks to all volunteers and guests who wanted to demonstrate peacefully with us. Many of these people suffered much emotional stress yesterday. We do not want this deed to be instrumentalized for political ends. We don't want any groups to be placed under suspicion for this.

1:13:10But if you're having a parade and a guy who follows an ideology that wants to kill you, drives a car into a parade, then tries to stab a bunch of police officers, maybe that is the time to politicize it. Maybe that is the time to go, you know, there's blood on the street from one of our guys. Maybe we should close our borders or shouldn't have these people in our countries or something like that. But no, that is the perfect, perfect example of suicidal empathy. So let's just go full circle right now. A bit more from Elon and his interview with Minton Bettis on what is going on with this integration problem that we all know about, but few are willing to talk about.

1:13:59Exaggerate the scale of Europe's problem. I think people are asleep at the switch and do not realize the magnitude of the issue. I also think that your interventions, however well-intentioned they may be, risk making Europe's problem a lot worse. How? Because you are putting your support behind people who are proto-authoritarians, who are not trying simply to make sure there is better integration of Muslims or to secure the borders, but who have very clear fascist tendencies and you will cause huge divisions within Europe. I think you're just completely making things up. is total fiction. And really, I'm simply saying that Europe has to have secure borders.

1:14:44Okay. On that we agree on. And should not let in vast numbers of people with views that are antithetical to the accepted views in Europe and where there will not be some level of safe cultural integration. This is simply common sense. It's a version of suicidal empathy, which we'll end on, but it's also a I mean, that's her version of just what evil is because once she gets the slightest pushback from him about borders, she goes, well, that we agree on. Okay, well, what country, what leaders are you for that want sovereign borders? Were you helping Viktor Orban in Hungary defend his borders and he's gone now too.

1:15:21You guys all said he was a fascist, right? So you're all liars and it's your own countries that you're destroying. And you want it somehow to be that, you know who the leader of the AFD party, Can we get a picture of her with her wife, please? The leader of the AFD, the far-right party in Germany, that those homos there that were suddenly like, don't politicize the fact that one of us was killed by an Islamist. She's a lesbian, and she's married, and she has kids. And you know why she's far-right? Because generally, Islamists don't love lesbos. You're not gonna get a lot of Islamists, Rosie O'Donnell, Jihadist Ellen DeGeneres.

1:16:03You just don't get that. Another jihadi Islamist, Paula Poundstone. There's a lesbian I haven't referenced in probably 20 years. Poundstone, that's a good name. Do we have a picture of, what's her name? Alice Weidel. Yeah, Alice Weidel. She's the far right leader. And is she a fascist or an authoritarian? Or is she a chick who married another chick? Not that there's anything wrong with that. And she wants to live in her society called Germany without potentially having someone drive through the parade celebrating her life. You effing morons. Let's not end the show on that. Let's end the show with my friend Gad Saad explaining to, I would say, quite venerable, great podcast host Dave Rubin the difference between empathy and suicidal empathy.

1:16:53It's not that empathy is an inherently bad emotion to have, right? We've evolved the reflex of empathy because we're a social species, right? It's a good idea for me to be able to put myself in your shoes, to be able to empathize and sympathize with your plight. It builds bonds and so on. So that makes perfect sense. But it shouldn't be the most important thing in your life, Gad? Is that what you're telling? Well, number one, and it shouldn't be directed to the wrong targets, right? So yes, it would be great if Guatemalan immigrants had the same opportunities as people in the US, but I don't give them higher on the pecking order than American vets who went and lost limbs fighting wars to keep the United States free.

1:17:39I would love for all children to be safe and happy, but I'm much more likely to jump in front of a truck to save my own biological children than random children. And that is true. That is why it is, I think, still the number one book maybe in the world right now. You should read it if you haven't. It's called Suicidal Empathy or watch our full interview. But this is what these people are doing. You are going to destroy your societies. And once again, a little alarmist for my last week on the grid, but the question is what will we really do about it? I don't know. We should all think about it. I'll be ruminating about it throughout August.

1:18:19That is our program for today. I think this was one of our longest shows ever. So yeah, we are working hard. As we head off the grid, we've got a post-game show, 30 seconds. RubenReport.Locals.com. See you tomorrow.
