In short
The episode centers on the Carmelo Anthony murder verdict (35 years for murder, eligible for parole after half), the racialized backlash from Anthony’s supporters, and the host’s broader claims about hypocrisy in politics and media. It also covers Maine Democratic primary politics (Graham Plattner’s win despite a “Nazi tattoo” and allegations), California election integrity controversies (ballot counting delays, ballot harvesting, and outlawing voter ID), and an attempted beheading in Belfast tied by the host to immigration and unrest.
Guests (none)
The transcript mentions multiple people and live reporters/pundits (e.g., Brooke Taylor outside the courthouse; Court TV panelists; Jasmine Crockett; AOC; Scott Jennings; Shermichael Singleton; Gad Saad; Harry Enten; Erin Burnett; Mika; Kathy Griffin; Jim Acosta; Bill Malugian), but no named podcast co-host or interview guests are actually present in the episode.
Key claims
The host argues the stabbing was not self-defense, that racial “filters” drive outrage, and that Democrats/MeToo/Kavanaugh standards are selectively applied for power. He claims California’s system enables fraud by design and links Belfast violence to immigration.
Notable examples
Austin Metcalf’s death after a seating dispute at a track meet; Anthony supporters comparing the case to Trayvon Martin; Jasmine Crockett’s statements about the knife not being deadly; Plattner’s “redemption” campaign after controversy; California’s ban on local voter ID rules; Belfast unrest after an attempted beheading.

And if you did submit for the giveaway, check your email, check the spam just in case, but we did give away 10 tickets.
1:46All yours. All right, we got a lot to do today. So, you know, yesterday I covered a bit around this Carmelo Anthony case. And no, it is not former NBA player Carmelo Anthony, who was my least favorite player of all time. The guy never passed, never played defense, never made it anywhere in the playoffs. His teams always seemingly got worse with him. It's not him, it's, as you know, now joking aside for a second. There was a murder of a young man by the name of Austin Metcalf by Carmelo Anthony. There was a little kerfuffle around the seating arrangement at a sporting event, and Metcalf was killed, stabbed in the chest, and bled out and died.
2:21The verdict came in yesterday, and he was found guilty of murder. So we'll get to that in a second. Then Plattner won the Democrat primary. We're gonna have some updates on some election integrity stuff. And then the story that off our shores for a moment, we're gonna jump over to Ireland because there was an attempted, and attempted, I'm using that in as loose a way you can use the word, an almost beheading on the streets of Belfast, Ireland, and the whole country is in upheaval right now. And so we'll talk about that because obviously it's related to borders and deportation and protecting your culture and so many things we talk about.
2:57And we'll finish up with a couple of things around catching up on the Iran war stuff. So let's start with this trial. And again, the reason, you know me, I'm not big on just like, oh, let's do trial after trial after trial after trial. A lot of other shows do that and I know it's very good for clicks. I do think something's happening here because of the racial connotation around this thing. Also, we're basically heading into the dog days of summer, We're gonna roll into July and August. That's when we tend to get more people on the streets and weirdness. Don't forget about the summer of love and all the BLM stuff.
3:27So I just sense some weirdness around this case. So let me just get you caught up on what has happened. This is from Fox. According to background details presented by prosecutors, the deadly encounter was sparked by a dispute over seating at a track meet. Multiple witnesses testified that Anthony arrived uninvited and sat down inside the Memorial High School team tent, Fellow students reportedly asked Anthony to leave the tent as many as 15 times, but he allegedly refused. A Memorial High School student athlete testified Saturday that students repeatedly asked Carmelo Anthony to leave the team tent and that Anthony allegedly challenged students to fight.
4:05The witness said Austin declined, telling him he was not going to fight at a track meet. As the situation escalated, witnesses testified that Anthony warned Metcalf, telling him, touch me and find out and touch me see what happens. During the confrontation, Anthony sat with a backpack on his lap and one hand inside it, leading some students to warn Metcalf not to touch him because they suspected he was gripping a concealed weapon. The verbal dispute turned physical when Metcalf reportedly shoved or touched Anthony, prompting Anthony to stand up and stab the high school captain with a 3.5 inch folding knife.
4:41Moments later, the student testified he he heard Austin repeatedly yell that he had been stabbed before the students fled the area. A second witness, a 16-year-old Memorial High School student from the class of 27, told the court that immediately after the attack, some of Metcalfe's final words were, he effin stabbed me. Taking the stand later Saturday, a recently graduated 18-year-old from Memorial High School broke down in tears as he recounted the chaotic aftermath of the attack, testifying that he heard Metcalfe screaming for help. The witness said that he returned to assist after initially running from the scene and saw coaches, trainers, and students rushing to help Austin while others held back Austin's twin brother, Hunter.
5:19Okay, so we'll get into some of the aftermath around this. But obviously, well, from everything that, according to the trial, Carmelo Anthony was in the wrong tent. He was not supposed to be there. It was the team tent. They apparently went up to him several times and he just refused. and somehow it led to him stabbing this kid and the kid is now dead. He has now been found guilty of murder. And so in this case, the person who has been murdered, Austin Metcalf, happens to be white. The murderer happens to be black. And unfortunately, where we are at, it's not really just in this country, where we're at all over the world right now is everything becomes racialized and people only care about certain things depending on who the perpetrator is, the skin color of the perpetrator and the skin color of the victim.
6:09So this one is causing a lot of tension. Now, before we get into some of that tension, here is video of Hunter Metcalf. This is Austin Metcalf's twin brother recounting, I mean, this is tough to watch, recounting holding his dying brother in his arms and you'll see his mom crying next to him. And then I saw him had a fall. I would go over there. I grabbed him. I see. Let's go. Yeah. I understand. Best I can to understand. You can see. You can picture what happened. What was coming out of his chest. Yeah, yeah. Y 'all can visualize. I don't want to put that on my mom right now. But I put my hand.
6:56I pushed my hand on there. Try to make it stop. And I grabbed his head. And I looked at his eyes.
7:04I just saw his call leave and it took my soul too. I'm so sorry. All right, so this is horribly gut-wrenching stuff. I'm in a weird way, I'm like, sorry that we're starting the show with this today. But he has now been found guilty of murder. Carmelo Anthony, he stabbed Austin Metcalf. Doesn't matter if there was a kerfuffle before they asked him to leave or whatever it might be. You can't just stab somebody and murder them. Like even if they say mean things to you, even if they said racial things to you or anything else, you can't just stab somebody. Like you can say mean things to people, you can, like once we start okaying violence, and this is what broadly has been happening in the country.
7:51Oh, you don't like what the United Healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson's doing. I can understand why Luigi and Mangione might just murder him in Times Square. oh, you don't like Donald Trump? I could understand why there have been several attempts on his life. Oh, you're sitting in the wrong area and someone approached you? Oh, yeah, you could just kind of stab them. We are starting to pull, I would say, pull a thread that really could unravel civil society. So here's a bit more on the aftermath. He was found guilty. Here's a bit more on what the jury chose to do. Jury just sentenced Carmelo Anthony.
8:27We're going to be back with Brooke Taylor, who's live outside the courthouse. What do we have? Hi, Jesse. Some pretty breaking news to give you right now. The jury has sentenced Carmelo Anthony to 35 years behind bars after finding him guilty of murder. I'm told that he is eligible for parole after he serves half his time. The jury had the option to give him as much as 99 years behind bars. But again, they have chosen to give him 35 years. Well, only 17 years and he's available for parole. Kind of seems soft. I would have given him the chair, but that's just me, Brooke. Thank you so much. Okay.
9:08I don't even think I need to editorialize what I think would happen here. Like I, you know, that Jesse feels the guy should have got the chair. He can end a life right there. 17 years parole, 35 total. We'll see what happens, you know, and with good behavior and things of that nature, maybe he gets out earlier than that. I think we can put all that aside because the reason I'm focusing on this, look, people get killed in this country all the time. People get stabbed, people get shot. I think we covered it yesterday. 21 people were shot in Chicago this weekend, three of them murdered, but it was all black on black crime.
9:39So nobody cares about it, right? This, in this case, it was a black guy who killed, it was black kid, I should say, who killed a white kid. And now it's created this strange racial confusion I would say, around the case. And it reminds me a bit of, for those of you that remember, back all the way back in 19, what was it, 1994, 1995, O.J. Simpson case, because O.J., a black man, killed obviously two white people, his ex-wife and the boyfriend. So I'm gonna show you two videos of Carmelo Anthony's supporters. So he has these supporters that are showing up to the courthouse, that are out on the streets, demanding he be freed, basically saying, hey, they said something mean to him and he shouldn't be in jail, something like that.
10:24So I'm going to show you two videos here that are rather hysterical, but I think they are indicative of a broader problem once you say, oh, I'm going to care about this person more because of their race or that person less because of their race. Take a look. What do you want us to do? What do you want us to do at this point? What? I'm lost for it. I don't know what to do. I got five boys. I don't know what, I ain't got nothing to tell them no more. You can't walk away no more. Rest in peace, Trayvon Martin. Well, first off, lady, I'd like to find out about where you're getting your nails done because it's a bit excessive, frankly.
10:59But what do you want us to do? Well, not, I don't know, maybe tell your kids don't stab somebody who goes up to them if they happen to be sitting in the wrong area. And even if they think it's unjust that they're not allowed to sit in the players area or whatever it was, that you can't, you can't stab somebody. You can't just murder somebody in cold blood. And of course, she would be taking the opposite position if the races were flipped, right? Here's one more. I don't have an opinion. I don't have an opinion. Just like Carmelo was doing. I'm glad you just said that. Just what Carmelo was doing.
11:40Protecting his mother****** ass. That woman's going to have a gig on The View in a week. but okay, again, this sort of hysterical anger, Carmelo was defending himself. Well, he was sitting there, brought a knife to this thing, was sitting in the wrong area and was repeatedly asked to leave. If they had attacked him, if they had brought knives out and then there was a knife fight or a baseball bat or something, then absolutely you could argue self-defense, but that's not what happened here. And that's, forget it, my opinion of it or your opinion of it, that's what the jury decided. Now, over on Court TV, where they cover these things 24 hours a day, again, there's this weird racial filter on this thing.
12:23Here's one of the panelists who's obviously very upset because the kid who killed someone in cold blood who died out in his brother's arms was convicted of murder. Besides, wow, which a lot of us are feeling, thoughts? I was not expecting the top charge. I really was thinking that they would see manslaughter, still guilty, but manslaughter, different sentencing, but guilty of murder. So, you know, that's heavy. Wow. Now, again, it's so interesting because they cause us all to think about things in a racial lens by constantly telling us we're systemically racist and that, you know, the ultimate sin of America is slavery and all of those things.
13:21If this had been reversed, right, if it had been a white kid who stabbed a black kid, then those women would not be out there, right? Obviously they wouldn't be out there. on court TV, the white host would not be so guilty as he tosses to the black panelists. There is this weird thing that we've injected into the system that is so toxic and antithetical to what the melting pot of America is and what Lady Justice is all about. There's a reason she has a blindfold over her eyes in that statue that's outside of all of our courthouses. But now we've created this, it's not even, it's not necessarily two-tier system, but we've put something noxious into the system that creates this sort of hysterical reaction when things don't go your way.
14:08And speaking of hysterical reactions, we have not shown you video of her lately, but we have talked about her a bit because Jasmine Crockett, who was Congresswoman from the Houston area, then ran for Senate and she was not bananas lefty enough for the base. So they went with this Tallarico guy. We're gonna show you two videos of her now. Here she is opining on this situation and apparently she would have stabbed this kid too. if a 300 pound man is beating me like on top of me and beating me down i i'm not limited to to fist was it a switch i don't know what he had it was like uh it was it seemed like it was a multi-tool almost like a swiss army yeah like with the little scissors and everything and whatever so it was small well i would argue the size of it alone you wouldn't even think it's a daily weapon she's a lawyer.
15:03I'm a lawyer. Can you believe that? I would argue the size of it alone, it isn't a deadly weapon. It killed the kid. Also her fantastic voyage that she took before that, the kid wasn't 300 pounds, he wasn't on top of him or anything else. So she makes up a completely fabricated story. And yes, I suppose if a 300 pound man attacked her and was on top of her, I would be for her stabbing him. Yeah, but that has literally nothing to do with what happened in this case. Then she doesn't know what the weapon is. And she argues that when she finds out what the weapon is, you know, that 3.5 inch knife, 3.5 inches, or something like that, that that is not a deadly weapon, even though Austin Metcalfe is dead.
15:44I mean, this woman, and again, she was too sane for the Democrats of Texas. Here's one more with her. And this one, I almost thought it was AI. It is so profoundly absurd what she says right here. I literally, I double checked it with Grok. Look. Black women, especially black women who have black male children, live in fear and agony every single day. A fear and agony that I promise you, the Metcalfs probably never spend a day living that way. I mean, that is genuinely, sorry guys, this isn't our funniest show ever. I'll make it up on the second half. But like, that is genuinely one of the most psychotic and disgusting things I have ever heard.
16:32If you are a black mother in America, I would hope that you would just teach your kids that it's a pretty great place and you can get out there and go do your thing and make something for yourself. And that's pretty freaking good. And maybe stay off drugs and don't commit crime and see what happens. Like, get out there and do it. And in some sense, you could argue, especially in blue areas, you probably have a lot of advantages. Things are tilted in your way, actually. But that she says that Austin Metcalfe's family has never been in the fear and agony that a random black mother is in. Their son is dead.
17:06Do you think the woman we showed you in the video earlier with the son crying as his brother dies out in his arms is not in agony? But this is what, some people call it reverse racism, It's just racism. This is what racializing everything does. If you put, if the world is just the world, but you put on race glasses all the time, and those race glasses only get to see things the way you want them to see, to fit your preconceived notion of how racism works, then you will find, well, ultimately you will become a crazy person. And I think that explains Jasmine Crockett. All right, let's leave that there.
17:42And again, I'm only covering the story. People get killed in America all the time. People get murdered in cold blood all the time. Again, just look at Chicago. The racial thing doesn't quite add up. I just have a feeling that this case is going to become something more, particularly on the streets in blue cities, but we will see. Now, all right, so let's put that aside. I will try to figure out some ways to get a little funnier today. But, well, the Democrats went full Nazi. How about that? They called us Nazi for 10 years and then they chose the Nazi. That's right, Graham Plattner has won the Democrat race primary over in Maine.
18:16He will face off against Susan Collins in the fall. And look, so they now what they have to do because they backed him even though he has a Nazi tattoo. They backed him even though he was on an app that apparently is for underage kids to sext. They had all these women come out and say that he was physically and in some cases, or verbally and in some cases, physically abusive and everything else. So now they have to repackage the guy, repackage him. And he has a new campaign theme, guys. It's redemption. love and redemption redemption is not just some simple or easy destination it's a journey i've made mistakes in my life mistakes that i regret that i live with that i continue to learn from i'm still far from perfect but every day i wake up and i try to be a little bit better and a little bit kinder than I was the day before.
19:12And if you give me the chance, I will be a senator for the people who cannot afford to buy a senator.
19:24Man, if you can't see the evil that is brewing right now, guised in goodness, throw the screenshot up there because if you think also for a second that all those women right there never called anybody a Nazi unjustly over the last 10 years, all of those women, including the one with the mustache behind him, they for sure, for sure are the exact type of kind of Karen-ish women of a certain age, and that's why they were selected to be behind him, by the way, who've likely been calling everybody Trump, Hitler, and all of us Nazis and everything else, but they found their Nazi, and they believe, they don't believe it for a second that he didn't know what the Nazi tattoo was, and now he's gonna fight for them, And also these women that I have no doubt, like put them all, they look like just generic 60s lesbionic feminists.
20:14And it's like, how about, okay, you want to throw the Nazi thing? You didn't mean that we were all Nazis. Hey, I've got the campaign brief ready, built from last quarter's data and the competitive landscape. Approved? Oh, agents, where would we be without you? Somewhere with a lot more tabs open. Create your first Monday agent in minutes at monday.com. And you guys really, you've thrown the Jews out of the party and all that. Okay, that's fine. Forget all that. And your endless Israel obsession. Fine, forget that. But now you're going to throw women under the bus too, because he has physically and verbally assaulted women.
20:48And it was in the freaking New York Times, which is no friendly to our side, right? So, but you guys will do it because you got your Nazi. My buddy, Greg Gutfeld had, I think, a quite an interesting take on the irony of what is happening around Platner right now. Take a look. platter is a hero and i'll tell you why he's done a tremendous service he's slayed two big movements the you're a nazi movement by being a nazi and being accepted by the left you can't call anybody a nazi anymore what about the me too movement well by not believing all women that goes out the window because he got the most strident adherence of those causes to accept him revealing that that whole scene was theatrics.
21:34And he is, because, I mean, he's the most toxic male since Jeffrey Dahmer took up cooking. Yeah, that's right. That's right. You know, the real Nazis are gonna be here one day and there is a weird thing brewing, right? Like a weird racialization thing brewing, which I always go back to that Jordan Peterson clip from 10 years ago on Rogan, which his whole point was that if you keep telling young white men that they're awful and they're toxic and they're racist and everything else, like wait till you see what happens when they grow up. So there could be some real Nazi-ish, you know, race realist, white identitarian, let's say movement brewing in America.
22:10And ironically, it will be because of you people. You called us all Nazis and then you guys, so you angered people that weren't Nazis. And then you went all in with somebody who had a freaking Nazi tattoo. And again, pretended he didn't know what it was. Like profoundly, profoundly absurd. One day there's gonna be real, one day there'll be real Nazis here. Ironically, the door just opened while I'm doing the show right now. The Nazis literally just show, the Nazis might be here, it's gonna be a weird way to end, right before the big show tomorrow and everything. All right, Phoenix just ran out, so maybe he's beating the Nazis.
22:44But the point is, guys, the real Nazis could show up one day and no one's gonna believe them. Hello, I'm a Nazi, hello. Nazi over here, got the big boots, walking in a funny way, I'm a Nazi. And nobody's gonna, nobody's gonna, no, you're not a Nazi, you just have the Grant Plattner tattoo. That's literally what they'll say to them. And then of course, his second point about what they've done to the feminists. You MFers told us three years, believe all women, me too. But the second it goes against one of your guys, well, we don't really believe the women. And well, he's our woman abusing Nazis.
23:19So we're gonna stick with it. And here's AOC making that exact point. When it comes to the substance of this reporting, Obviously, there's a lot in that behavior that's really challenging. It's hard to stomach, you know, in some of it. But at the end of the day, I think that this is a choice. All right. It wasn't a Nazi at the door. It was Justin. He wandered in during the show. It's okay. But you see what AC did right there? She's basically saying, yeah, it's all disgusting. And this guy has done all of the things that I've been railing against. But, I mean, the but, he's mine. He's ours. He's ours.
23:55So yes, if this, AOC was one of the leaders against Brett Kavanaugh when he was trying to get confirmed. And they said the most insane things about him. He's a rapist and he hates women and all. And like, they said the most absolutely insane things and almost derailed his nomination and confirmation. But she didn't believe any of it. Do you think she believed any of it? No, she believes that the ends justify the means. You will do anything you can to get power. And in this case, she will throw out all her perceived, or not even perceived, all her purported ideals, and well, he's our Nazi. So, you know, I thought they were all Nazis, but he's our Nazi.
24:35Oh, we were supposed to be for women, but well, not really. And also the funny thing, I keep thinking this, I don't know why no one on mainstream media is talking about this. It's not like this guy is the most dynamic, impressive person. Like a couple of weeks ago, couldn't they have been like, you know what, they kind of knew this was all leaking out and everything, and they knew about the Nazi tattoo for a while. Could they literally not find anyone else in Maine? Anyone else, as if this guy is so impressive. Does he look impressive? Does he sound impressive? And you're gonna have a bunch of old 60s hags, feminists supporting this guy.
25:08It is profoundly insane. My buddy, Sher Michael Singleton, who was on the show on Friday, here he points out that what they've really done now is completely erase anything they ever said about Trump. I find that a bit ironic. For a long time now, Democrats have long argued that what fueled their passions against Trump was a sense of righteous indignation. They were standing up for justice. They were upholding morality that they said Trump was an affront to. And now what we all realize is that that was all a facade. You have this guy who said he's going to make a speech to make a contract or draw a contrast against himself and Susan Collins.
Read the full transcript
25:48He stands up for women. She does not because she voted for Brett Kavanaugh. Yet we just had not more than a week ago, very serious allegations against this very same guy who's now the defender of women. So to me, it seems like maybe a defender of women for my Democratic friends when it's convenient for them. But now that there's a political electoral opportunity to maintain their their majority in the Senate and Graham Plattner could outseat Susan Collins. you know what, it doesn't necessarily matter the 10 plus years of arguments we've made about morals and ethics against Trump and Republicans who've empowered Trump because we can win a seat.
26:22I love that Ro Khanna is just sitting there, hands like this, you know, quiet and not offering anything, because I have no doubt that Ro Khanna was all about trying to destroy Kavanaugh. We can we can check on that, right? Like, yeah, of course. Of course. I have Joseph checking it while we were playing. The American people deserve better than Brett Kavanaugh. Ah, Ro Khanna, quote, the American people deserve better than Brett Kavanaugh. Interesting, you don't feel that way about Plattner, and you were quite literally campaigning with him two days ago. So what Schermichael said there was absolutely perfect.
26:52And in essence, it's the same thing that Gutfeld's saying, and it's the same thing that you should be saying to all of your friends right now. Like, really understand it, guys. They don't mean any of the things that they say. When they call you a Nazi, they don't mean it. When they say you hate women, they don't mean it. When they say that Republicans will do anything for power, they don't mean it. Every single thing that they say is a projection and we must stop playing by their rules, right? Somehow Susan Collins is the bad guy because she voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh. There was no credible evidence against Brett Kavanaugh at all.
27:28And yet there is against Plattner and here we are. Here's one more from Shermichael. To me, any argument that Democrats have framed against Trump, against Republicans, it's not null and void. They have revealed themselves to be nothing but hypocrites, nothing but liars. And I think as we get into the general election, you're going to see the case made by Susan Collins, made by the NRSC, that Democrats are not the people that they said that they are. Look at who they're supporting, the guy with the Nazi tattoo. Think about all of the people at the height of the MeToo movement who got taken out.
28:00You probably know some in your life that that either got fired or smeared or unjustly attacked or the world was different back then in the 70s. You might have worked in an office where you patted somebody on the butt and it didn't mean that you should be kicked out of civil society for 30 years. Like all the people that were taken out and they led the charge to destroy everybody. For those of you that don't remember, I mean the Kavanaugh hearing, that two week period was so, maybe it was more than two weeks even, but it was so profoundly crazy, the bloodlust that was out for that guy. Remember, I mean, literally he went to, what was it?
28:36He went to Morton's Steakhouse in DC and protesters were there going after him and he had to be escorted out by security out the back. And AOC was all about getting their faces and everything else. And it turns out he didn't do anything. And he's a good family man who was coaching his daughter's basketball team, like absolutely psychotic. So do not, the point of all this is don't let them use don't use this crudule anymore, don't let them use this weapon on us anymore because they have no integrity, they have no standards whatsoever, and all they are out to do is get power. And that is a fundamental, I'm sorry, but that is just a fundamental difference between Republicans and Democrats.
29:14You may not like all the things Republicans do, you may not like all the things conservatives do, but there's a set of beliefs around the Constitution usually having something to do with religion in most cases, not all. There is some set of beliefs, People have to map that to also electing people who will get power, right? Trump, I would say understands the power part more and the winning part more. You gotta like combine those two things. The only thing the Democrats have, there is no set of beliefs right now other than we will attain power and we will punish the people who are stopping us. So you better hope that they don't get power soon, but okay, let's talk about them getting power because as you know, in California, Two elections happened, gubernatorial, which it looks like Steve Hilton will be in second place.
30:00So thankfully they didn't pull the, whatever rug they could have pulled or glass they could have broke in the case of Gavin Newsom's words, they didn't push Tom Steyer forward. So it looks like Hilton will be in at second against Becerra, that'll happen in November. And of course the one that's getting everybody nuts is that on election night, which was one week ago yesterday, it looked like it was gonna be Spencer Pratt and Karen Bass, but then magically Nithya Rahman came out of nowhere, even though she conceded the election on election night, and she got huge swaths of the mail-in ballots, and magically Pratt is out, and it'll be Democrat lunatic versus Democrat lunatic.
30:40Here is Scott Jennings on CNN trying to explain to some less than bright people how completely ridiculous all of this is.
30:54When you take this long to count the ballots, of course people are going to have questions about it. Plus, the whole system out there, I mean, there's a reason that ballot harvesting, for instance, is illegal in a great many states. You've got millions of ballots that are mailed out to people who didn't ask for them. You have no voter ID. You have these ballot harvesters showing up. You know, you don't know them. They show up at your house helping people fill out their ballots and turning them in. I mean, I'm not I don't know of any evidence of the election is rigged. We do have state control of elections.
31:21I understand. And states get to decide if everybody gets a ballot. Does that make it OK? Or would you impose this on everybody else? I'm just saying states get to decide, which has been the Republican position for many years. Yeah. And I'm telling you that California ought to decide to do something different because what's happening in that election right now is causing people to question the outcome. Again, I'm not seeing any evidence of fraud, but what I have seen evidence of is a system that if you wanted to commit some fraud, this is exactly what you. Yeah, that's the point. That's what I've been saying over the last couple of days.
31:51I don't have the smoking gun. Donald Trump doesn't have it when Kristen Welker is grilling him like a lunatic. It's not that we have it, but after seven days of counting votes and everyone being mailed these things and ballot harvesting and everything else, there's enough stink around the whole thing that people simply don't believe it. We quite literally had a candidate who conceded on election night who's now going to the runoff and the guy who was second, who had much of the country. Now again, the country is not necessarily indicative of what's happening in LA. I do grant you that. I grant you that there are way more Democrats than Republicans in LA.
32:27I grant you that it was gonna be a huge hill to climb for Spencer Pratt. And I also grant you that my friend Larry Elder a few weeks ago when I was in LA said to me that he felt Pratt had 0 % chance, but that doesn't change the fact that when election night ended, he was in second place. And then we were all like, well, what's gonna happen here? And lo and behold, they seemingly pulled something off. The key word there is seemingly. And in some sense, I think you can argue, and a lot of people have been making this point online, that all of the brokenness around it, the fact that it all feels so crappy is partly what they want.
33:02so that all of the people who are not Democrats will just feel like no matter what you do, you will never win. So that the next Spencer, here it is. The next, it's not just that the average Republican or conservative or just non-lunatic liberal won't vote or won't think it works. It's that they just won't never get good candidates again. Like Pratt seemed like there was something happening there. There really was. Hey, I've got the campaign brief ready, built from last quarter's data and the competitive landscape. Approved? Oh, agents, where would we be without you? Somewhere with a lot more tabs open.

34:00It's just one of these random X accounts, but Costco checks IDs. Meanwhile in California, and here's a headline, California outlaws local voter ID rules. Think about it, you've all been to Costco. You have to show an ID to get in. I'm a member of Costco, here is my ID. You have to show an ID to get on a plane. I used to tell you about how when I lived in LA and we would go mini golfing, I had to show an ID so that they knew I wasn't going to steal the mini golf clubs, as tempting as it was. And yet to vote, you don't have to show an ID. Just so, and also in a state where fraud is so rampant between the hospices and all of the other stuff that's going on there that we know about, do you think it's possible that somebody might get a mail-in ballot, not ask for one, you get the mail-in ballot, you might mail that in.
34:51And do you think that person, do you think any of these people still showed up and even didn't do anything fraudulent with someone else's name, but use their own name and address. And then you think that it's like this crack team that's checking, oh, wait a minute, it turns out this person did vote in person and vote by mail. Like you really think they're doing that honestly? I just see there's just no reason to believe it, which I think is the position that Elon Musk has come to as well. He wrote, California made it illegal for any election in the state to require ID. This is nuts. Guys, it really is third world banana, republic level stuff.
35:28It is the basic, it is the lowest, it's not even lowest common denominator. Why is it that we don't let people wander onto a plane without an ID? Why is it you have to show an ID when you go to a bar? And but yet to vote, the most important thing you could do basically as a citizen, well anyone can do it. And you know why, it's because they want the fraud baked in. Now this is super interesting. This was a video that was going crazy viral yesterday. Here is a woman on Skid Row. So this is downtown Los Angeles. That's been taken over by the meth addicts and the super meth people and the fentanyl people and everything else.
36:09And she's asked a little bit about her voting patterns. Take a look. Did you vote? Yeah. Oh, you did for Karen Bass? Yeah, Karen Bass. Karen Bass, yeah. Or Nithya Rahman? Karen. Karen, they told you to vote for Karen? Yeah, they had to sign the little thing. And how much did they pay you? It was like two bucks. Two bucks? They had to sign off on a thing to vote for her? Yeah. So they do this for everybody out here? Yeah, they come out here all the time. They just get better to vote out here, huh? Okay, so I think you have to take a video like that with a grain of salt, but you can and see the homeless encampments or whatever, the tents behind her, and she's obviously destitute and drug addict and all of those things.
36:55And yeah, they come out here all the time and they paid me two bucks and I had to sign the little thing. Like the story does sort of check out. It doesn't, she doesn't strike me as a crisis actor, let's put it that way. And it makes you wonder, well, how many of these people did do some sort of fraudulent voting? And let's not forget, we read you a tweet the other day that Spencer Pratt put up where the 43, what was it, Nithya Raman got 43 ,000 new votes and there's about 43 ,000 homeless people on the streets of LA. Like I'm not saying that that's like the math would be a little too obvious or something, but like again, like is that story true?
37:32Is it strange that all of the mail-in ballots went to Nithya Raman? Is it odd that you don't have to show ID? Like enough stuff sits there and then you basically have to be almost braindead not to think something really bad is happening, especially because it's a super majority Democrat state. If it was a state that kind of went this way, kind of went that way, they've got a mixed legislature and all that, you'd say, oh, it's probably pretty hard to do like this type of level of corruption. But when you have one party ruling the thing, absolute power corrupts absolutely, like you guys get it. Here is Mika Scarborough.
38:09She's married to Joe Scarborough and they do that show together They're over on the televised mental institution known as MS Now. And, well, you'll see a little edit that the Internet did with this one. Time they say elections in California or elsewhere in the U.S. are legitimate is when Republicans win. Doesn't feel good looking ahead to the midterms, the way these Republicans are behaving. You know, you can run the best campaign. You can be the person who gets the nomination. But unless we know how to protect our election from what happened before and what could happen again, because there's greater sophistication about it, you could lose.
38:53That it wasn't on the level. It wasn't on the level in 2016. It could be, once again, not on the level. Oh, it wasn't on the level in 2016 when she lost. Interesting. It wasn't on the level. She also called Donald Trump an illegitimate president. So there you've got Mika. Well, Democrats don't do this when they lose. Do you guys have any recollection of the four years of Trump's first go around with this whole thing? What it was like and everybody saying it was Russia, Russia, Russia. And it was a complete manufactured hoax by the Obama administration. It's deeply connected to the 60 minutes stuff we've been talking about when Donald Trump was calling it all out and Leslie Stahl was pretending none of it existed and the Hunter Biden laptop didn't exist and everything else.
39:33You guys then impeached him in a complete farce that you could argue was connected to all of this. So Hillary can run around saying it's an illegitimate election and there's some weird stuff there. And what does she say? You wanna protect an election. I agree, Hillary. What would be the easiest, most sensible way to protect an election? How about have people show ID? Just like if you get, I don't know, say a delicious tequila like Copal delivered to your house, drinkcopal.com. When the guy comes with the tequila, you have to show an ID. That's how it works. Here's psychotic drag queen, Kathy Griffin with fired CNN host Jim Acosta, arguing that Donald Trump didn't win this last election, just to show you the absurdity of these people.
40:21I'm just gonna say this and you can put my tinfoil hat on. You ready? I love it, please. I, Kathy Griffin, do not think that Donald won in a free and fair election. it's a hot take you don't have to agree you have to agree but something and now i know i sound like a trumper but something with elon giving a million dollars a vote and then him winning all seven swing states for the first time in history but the democrats won the down ballot and the disastrous first term something about it doesn't smell right all right so you don't have to care with that strange drag queen clown thinks, other than to say Jim Acosta, remember, fired from CNN.
41:07Now he's an MSN now panelist, or he's either a contributor or a panelist. I don't know if they pay him. But there he is just entertaining that Donald Trump stole this last election. So yes, they do do it, whether it is Hillary Clinton or that drag queen or Jim Acosta, et cetera, et cetera. However, despite all of that, perhaps pulling off two crazy things that once was a bit much, and Steve Hilton, the Republican, will in fact be on the ballot in November. Here's CNN's Erin Burnett. We do have some breaking news. We can make a projection in the race for governor in the state of California now that Steve Hilton will be advancing to the general election.
41:47So he will be advancing along with Javier Becerra. That means that Tom Steyer will not advance to the next, to the general. All right, so sorry, Tom Steyer, you will still be a billionaire and you sold out your everything about you. so that the socialists would get behind you and they probably will still come after you during the revolution and I wish you the best of luck. But okay, so Hilton is in and what I would hope that Hilton will do, I just saw right before we started the show, Hilton is now trying to get Spencer Pratt to campaign with him. So that might be a way of extending the kind of magic that was around Pratt.
42:19It's lost in LA apparently at this point, but maybe that can scale across the state, so we'll see there. But I would say if you're a Republican in California, I don't know what you have to do. I genuinely have no idea. Like what do you have to do to shine a light on the corruption around voting and everything else? But you don't wanna be in a situation. And I have a feeling that we will be in this situation. I have a feeling, mark my words, Joseph, make a note. You have some sort of computer device there, that on election night in November in California, that the election will be too close to call in California and it will take days, if not weeks to figure out and magically the Democrat will win.
42:55That's my prediction. We shall see. How do we segue into a beheading? Well, the whole idea was the socialists were gonna behead Tom Steyer, right? You're our billionaire, and if you don't behave the way we want, we're gonna behead you in essence. Well, there was an actual attempted beheading. It was pretty damn close. We're not gonna show you the video. We'll show you one screenshot. But in the middle of the street in Belfast a couple days ago, well, let me read you from Man of Wokeness and we'll show you the screenshot. I mean, this is unimaginable. an African migrant just tried to behead a white man in North Belfast, Ireland.
43:30Video is too graphic to post. Now, you might say this is, you can leave it up for a second. I mean, you might say this is what globalizing the Intifada is, right? Like you bring in people who will do the most unimaginably evil things and you're globalizing it, right? We don't know exactly what this guy's intentions are, but he doesn't strike me as just a decent Irishman. How about that at the very least? and subsequently, well, miraculously, the guy he was trying to behead is not dead. Is he in critical condition? Can we find out what kind of condition he's in? But this has now sparked massive, massive unrest in Ireland and Ireland's is very conflicted place because Ireland has gone all in, in terms of the government, they've gone all in on this crazy pro-Palestinian stuff.
44:17And I'm telling you guys, I saw the 47 minute video that the Israeli army only shows to a certain set of people. And I saw an actual beheading with a small knife and a guy walking away with a head in his hand while he was smiling. And trust me, it wasn't even the worst thing I saw. So Ireland's gone all in with the Palestinians on that thing at the government level. I don't think that's the decent people of Ireland, but now it happened on their shores and they, well, they are pissed. Take a look.
44:52Hey, I've got the campaign brief ready, built from last quarter's data and the competitive landscape. Approved? Oh, agents, where would we be without you? Somewhere with a lot more tabs open. Create your first Monday agent in minutes at monday.com.
45:23Oh, my God.
45:30Just watch it for a minute. Tank it not Bostonite. Okay, so I should clean up one thing. I think I slightly misspoke there. Northern Belfast is considered part of the UK, actually. The riots mostly are happening in Ireland. I don't need to do a whole history lesson on all of that. But all of this leads to what is happening across the West. If you import people for whatever reason who do not have approximately the same views as you, who are willing to do unimaginably evil things on their religious or cultural conquest or anything else, then your society will die. My good friend Gad Saad has the number one book in the world, thank God, thank Gad right now, about suicidal empathy.
46:16We put up an interview with him a couple of days ago. He was on Hannity's podcast explaining a bit more about the British grooming scandal, which is the ultimate example of this suicidal empathy. What was this? The point is, what was that guy doing in Ireland? Are the Irish people not allowed to keep Ireland for Ireland? Are the people of the UK not allowed to keep the UK for people of the UK for Brits, et cetera, et cetera? Here's Gad. How about in Britain? Remember that they call them grooming gangs? Yeah. Maybe some of your audience doesn't know this, so it's worth saying. For the past 30 years, up and down England, in every big city, in every small city, the charitable estimate is 250 ,000 plus British white girls were systematically raped on an industrial scale level.
47:06And the British authorities said, okay, well, we've got two competing objectives here. We could either protect our children from gang rapes or we could not arrest the perpetrators because that would marginalize the Muslim community and lead to Islamophobia. Yeah, let's go with that one. Right. And so what did they do? Obviously, they threw these young girls and their families under the bus in the name of political correctness. It was suicidal. We have so much empathy for these brown people who, they're just different from us. And okay, they rape, okay, they behead, but let's just invite them into our country and see what happens.
47:48And that is how you will get the collapse of the West, quite literally. Now America is doing a much better job, mostly thanks to Donald Trump, not only for shining light on this, but closing the border and doing deportations and everything else. But also we are an armed nation. We were born in revolution. We have a, I think, a baked in sort of sense of a pride in America. Again, backdrop of our 250th anniversary. Like I think there are lots of reasons we are in better shape than most of Western Europe, which I think is largely screwed beyond imagination. They simply do not have enough good people.
48:21The numbers are not good anymore. The people who have come in are multiplying way faster. They're telling us that's what they are gonna do, et cetera, et cetera. But there are some good things happening here in America. Check this out from Fox on what the house just did to codify some of the things Trump's been trying to make happen. Breaking tonight, a measure to fund Customs and Border Patrol, and ICE is on its way to President Trump's desk for his signature. Congressional correspondent Bill Malugian is here with details on how the long-awaited legislation finally made it through Congress. Good evening, Bill.
48:52John, good evening to you. Good to see you. Like you said, it's finally over. Just a short time ago, House Republicans passed the Senate's clean bill to fund ICE and CBP with$70 billion over the next three years. It will now head to President Trump's desk to be signed. The final vote here was 214 to 212. Every Republican president voted yes. Every Democrat president voted no, while independent Congressman Kevin Kiley also voted no because he says the bill included no reforms to ICE. All right, well, that is going to Trump's desk, and he obviously will sign it. That goes without question, right?
49:27So he's going to sign it, and ICE and Border Patrol will be funded to the tune of what was that,$70 billion. And of course this will keep these lunatics doing their sanctuary city stuff and out on the streets and everything else and they'll try to shut down the government over something that's already funded and everything else. But Donald Trump is doing exactly what he said he was going to do and guess what? Well, the numbers prove that this is what the people want him to do. Here's the dork with the screen, Harry Enten. I think the guy, Maybe it's just that his belt is too tight or something.
49:58But here he is explaining that Trump is doing quite well because he is doing what he said he was going to do. 21st century presidents, immigration approval at this point in term two. Guess who has the highest approval in immigration? It's Donald John Trump who has the highest approval on immigration, 42 percent. Barack Obama was just at 36 percent. George W. Bush was way down there at 30 percent. So at this point, Republicans are more trusted on immigration than Democrats are. And more than that, after the most consequential policies when it comes to immigration of any president this century, Donald Trump has the highest approval of any president on immigration at this point in a second term.
50:35All right. So you might look at that number and go, man, it's only 42 percent on immigration. Like it should be way higher than that. But just remember, we are a completely divided country. We just they just showed you, Fox, how this thing broke down in the House to 14 to 212. I think it was like, think about it, not one Democrat was like, oh, we should have a border and not one Democrat was like, oh, we should make sure that people who are here illegally are kicked out and everything else. So we are deeply divided, but Trump is standing in a much better position on his number one issue, which was border and deportations, than, well, you saw George W.
51:04Bush and Obama, et cetera, et cetera. So that bodes well, I would say. And let's wrap up today's show with a couple Iran updates. We had a 40-day military war, then we had this pause with the blockade of Strait of Hormuz. Then we had some talks in Pakistan and they kept sending JD there, which I'm sure he was like, oh yes, I'd love to get on the plane to Pakistan again to talk to these guys. Then there's been some shooting back and forth and then it got a little bit hot yesterday. Once again, listen to this from Trump on Truth. I have just been informed by our great military that last night the Iranians shot down one of our highly sophisticated Apache helicopters while patrolling over the Strait of Hormuz.
51:42There were two pilots involved, both are safe and uninjured. Nevertheless, the United States must, of necessity, respond to this attack. Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump. So yes, we are striking Iran, which happened last night. And my guess is there's gonna be a bit more today. Here's Fox on that. Sean, Sinkham has just announced that the airstrikes targeting Iran have ended for now. 20 targets in total were struck. The strikes began at 5 p.m. Eastern. The initial targets included air defense systems and radars. Explosions have been reported at at least six sites on Keshem Island over Boucher, Hamadan, and in Iran's port city of Sirik near the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz, and also Bandar Abbas, one of the main oil terminal port cities.
52:31CENTCOM called the strikes defensive and proportional. All right, so look, they attacked one of our helicopters while we're in the midst of this ceasefire talk, obviously we were going to strike back. Now we will see, will they let it be and negotiate again? We will see. But I thought this was interesting, one more from Scott Jennings today, because no matter what, well, there's a couple of things at the end of this. At the end of this, it's like, we can get something on paper. First off, we would need to know that it could be verified, that they're really gonna get enriched uranium out and all of that stuff.
53:02But it's also like, how much of this will matter once the Democrats, which at some point, the Democrats will take over again. The Democrats will gladly send them cash again. The Democrats would gladly have them rebuild their army and start nuclear program again and everything else. So the issue, I would say it's a bit of a linguistic thing in some sense, but it's like, is there going to be real peace or just at the very least a neutered Iran for now? Here's Scott Jennings with a bit on that. I think the president's move here was righteous. I think going after the Iranians was correct. But the idea that we're going to have a peace deal with people who chant death to America.
53:38I think we got to stop looking at it that way. We're going to end up with a deal, but it's going to be a military and an economic subduing deal. And it's going to be in conjunction with our partners. Well, the president doesn't really call it a peace deal. He just says it's a deal. I know. But I think people are thinking of this like traditionally like, oh, we had a war and then all of a sudden we have some kind of a deal and everybody's happy. No one, they're not going to be happy with us. They're never going to be happy with us. And we have to internalize that. Right. You know, it's a fundamental difference and it's an important point to make, like, I don't see any version of this on the other side, at least until the people of Iran were to truly take out the IRGC and get rid of all of the mullahs and all that stuff, where it's gonna be like, oh, it's World War II is over.
54:16Now America and Japan can start working together and ultimately become incredible allies as we are with Japan or even with Germany itself, right? Germany, which then underwent an incredible reformation and unfortunately is in bad shape now, mostly because of immigration, but Germany, which obviously is a Western ally of ours. It's not like Iran would be that, but I think what Trump understands, and it's what Jennings is talking about, is that at the very least, what you can do is make sure they can't build nukes for a long time and that you crush enough of their machinery and you make it obvious that them paying terrorist proxies all over the world to do bad things is not going to pay.
54:52So that doesn't mean you're gonna have peace and you're gonna have parties with mojitos and Hugo Spritzes, but you might have just a cold enough peace so less people are getting killed, which I think is what Trump wants. One more from Trump on truth. Iran's military is a complete and total mess. Much of it, like their Navy and Air Force, doesn't even exist anymore. They have been completely defeated. Iran is all talk and no action. The bully of the Middle East is dead. They've taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them. Now they will have to pay the price. So I don't know exactly what that means, meaning is Trump going to escalate now?
55:24Is he going to, you know, does he wanna just spend three more days bombing the high hell out of them until they beg us for a deal? Like why is the deal taking so long? We will find out. And I thought this was just interesting. You know, these betting markets are constantly talking about when this thing will end. Poly market, 5%, say by June 15th, that's in a couple days. I would say no way. By the end of June, 18%. That seems unlikely. That one seems sort of maybe to the backdrop of July 4th. Trump getting something right before that, maybe. A third of the people basically say end of July and then 43 % by August, 67 % by the end of the year.
56:00So we shall see. But as I've said from day one on all of this, I think at this point, after all of these years, the track record and the people around him, Trump deserves our trust with some of this stuff. And I thought we'd end the show today on a nice note, really. We started, it was pretty dark at the beginning with all that Austin Metcalfe, Carmelo Anthony stuff. But here is Donald Trump giving advice to the Coast Guard Academy. And maybe this captures a little bit more of the spirit that we need right now. maybe help you a little bit on your way first most important never ever give up never give up they ask me how do you be successful sir starts with never give up i've learned a lot about life but the one thing i've really learned is that perseverance never quitting never giving up is a big deal you'll be right there right at the gate and you've seen it you've seen it in sports you've seen it.
56:52They're right there at the gate and they give up. Never give up. And whatever happens, no matter where you are in life or what situation you find yourself in and the seas or anywhere else that you may be, keep pushing forward. Always push forward. Never stop pushing forward. No matter how terrible the storm, no matter how difficult the mission, never surrender. Keep going, keep fighting and make the adversary quit first. Let them quit. They're going to quit if you keep going. What if that's just right? Like it sounds kind of cliche, keep going, don't quit, you know, generic line from a movie. But what if it's actually true?
57:36I actually think it is true. I think fundamentally, if you have your eye on something and you will relentlessly go to it, it doesn't mean you will get that exact thing. but I think you will get something close to it. When I was in high school, and I have my high school yearbook, almost everyone in my high school yearbook said, Dave, you're gonna host The Tonight Show one day. That was the line. It's in my high school yearbook probably 50 times. Now I'm not hosting The Tonight Show, nor would I wanna host The Tonight Show now, but I'm doing something pretty close to it and I never stopped. There were times that I wanted to stop.
58:08There were times that I had no freaking money, all the nights standing on the street corners of New York City handing out comedy show tickets so I could get on stage and I was absolutely broken, and literally borrowing change from my friend to buy a cup of coffee, the debt that I went into, all of those things, but I kept going and going and going. Never quit, and young YouTubers, now because I'm an OG guy, I guess, on YouTube, I meet kids, they're kids to me, but they're in their 20s or something, who'll be like, Dave, how do I build a channel? What do I do? And I always say one thing, I say, I know this is gonna sound cliche, but don't stop.
58:40It's the same thing that Trump is saying. Don't quit, don't stop, go, go. You wanna do something, go do it. Don't do the reverse, which is everything that the left has sold you, which is pity me and someone give me something and I want that. And oh, that person has it, so I'll burn it down. How about go get something? And maybe, maybe you won't get the exact thing, but I'm pretty sure I think it's baked into the nature of reality. You will get something pretty damn close. Or at least I think how did it end with the hobbits? They had some fun on the, they made some friends during the adventure with the guy in the ax and the big guy with the thing there.

Dave Rubin of "The Rubin Report" talks about the extreme reactions to Karmelo Anthony being found guilty of murdering Austin Metcalf from his insane supporters to Democrats like Jasmine Crockett that you won't see on mainstream media; Fox News' Greg Gutfeld seeing some benefits to Democrats openly supporting nazi tattoo-sporting Graham Platner; Shermichael Singleton successfully getting CNN's Kaitlan Collins to go silent as he explained how Democrats' support of Graham Platner exposed that their moral high ground of calling Trump supports nazis and supporting the Me Too movement was always a facade; Elon Musk exposing a little known California elections law about voter ID that makes fraud more likely in contested elections like that of Spencer Pratt and Steve Hilton; a shocking interview with a homeless Skid Row inhabitant who admits on record that the Karen Bass campaign paid her money to buy her vote; CNN's Harry Enten sharing new polling data that should scare Democrats who mistakenly think that voters don't support Donald Trump's immigration policies; and much more.
