In short

The roundtable discusses Spirit Airlines’ failure and whether government bailouts are justified, then pivots to broader political controversies (Democratic opposition to the JetBlue–Spirit merger, alleged Logan Act violations involving foreign oil talks for Cuba, claims about Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, Minnesota fraud investigations, Florida redistricting, Indiana GOP primaries, New York City tax reform rhetoric, AOC/Ilana Glazer comments on billionaires, and a perceived “flip” by Megyn Kelly on Islam-related views).

Guests

John Cardillo (former NYPD officer; political commentator; served in the military and Virginia politics; author/activist background not specified in transcript). Nick Freitas (author of The Man Book; former Virginia state delegate; military veteran; homeschooled three children; 27-year marriage).

Key claims

Spirit failed due to poor management; bailouts reward “losers” and create a slippery slope; Democrats oppose airline consolidation yet are blamed for higher prices after Spirit’s collapse. Jayapal allegedly worked with foreign countries to supply oil to Cuba, violating the Logan Act. Ilhan Omar may have married her brother and should be expelled/deported; Rashida Tlaib is portrayed as a bigger security threat. Tim Walz is accused of enabling Minnesota fraud until uncovered. DeSantis redistricting is framed as fair. New York’s tax proposals are framed as socialist/anti-wealth and likely to drive elites away. Megyn Kelly is accused of credibility-damaging reversal and possible foreign influence.

Notable examples

Kevin O’Leary “dead fish” bailout analogy; JetBlue–Spirit merger blocked; Logan Act quoted; Minneapolis fraud uncovered by Nick Shirley; Florida congressional map; Indiana state senate primaries; PA de Terre tax ad; AOC/Ilana Glazer billionaire envy segment; Megyn Kelly Islam quote flip.

0:00I've tried a lot of seafood over the years, guys, and truly it's been hit or miss. You know, sometimes it looks great, but then you cook it and it just doesn't have that flavor or freshness you expect. So finding something reliable has made a huge difference. Wild Alaskan Company really changed that for me. It's the best way to receive high quality wild caught seafood delivered right to your door on your schedule. The first box I got was super easy to use. Everything comes individually portioned and vacuum sealed, so there's no guesswork. I cooked that wild Alaskan sockeye salmon just in a pan with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper, and it turned out fantastic.

0:34Clean flavor, great texture, and didn't feel like frozen fish at all. I've also tried the wild Pacific cod, which I love. It's light and flaky and really easy to work in when you need a quick dinner. What stood out is that the fish is quick frozen right after it's caught in Alaska, so it locks in that freshness along with the nutrients like omega-3s, and it's clean. no GMOs, no antibiotics, no additives, and it supports sustainable fishing and Alaskan fishermen. They're so confident in the quality that there's 100 % satisfaction, money-back guarantee, so there's no risk in trying it. Go to wildalaskan.com slash Rubin for$35 off your first order of premium wild-caught seafood.

1:09That's wildalaskan.com slash Rubin for$35 off your first order.

1:21what is up people of the internet i'm dave rubin this is the rubin report it is friday may 8th 2026 and on fridays we do the friday roundtable extravaganza and joining me today is rubin report veteran former nypd officer and political commentator my friend john cardillo a free man in the free state of Florida and first time guest, I suspect not last time guest, author of the new book, The Man Book, is Nick Freitas. Nick, welcome to the show. Thanks for having me, Dave. I don't know what else I was going to add there. I was going to add like seven other things because I'm seeing your videos pop up all the time and you're just doing great work.

2:00So maybe if you could real quick, since my audience knows John already, if you could just do a 30 second recap of kind of who you are and what you're doing. You're a good fighter for all of the right things. basically. I appreciate it. So yeah, I'm married for just, just celebrated my 27th anniversary to my high school sweetheart. We have three grown children now. We homeschooled all three of them. I served in the military for 11 years active duty. I was with first special forces group, did a couple of tours over in Iraq and then served for 10 years in the Virginia general assembly right before Virginia decided to unfortunately lose its mind.

2:37So that's just It's kind of a quick once over the world. Yes, and you got out of Virginia just in time. Okay, next time you're on the show, I will mention at top, 26-year veteran of marriage. That seems— 27, 27. Oh, rolling into the 20s. Don't tell me short a year, my friend. Sorry, sorry, sorry. All right, here we go. Fridays, we recap all the craziness. Let's dive right in. The big sort of economic thing on the domestic side, of course, was that Spirit Airlines, You know, really the last kind of budget airline for all the jokes that people make about them. They were the budget airline that were helping keep costs low.

3:13They have now gone under. And Mr. Wonderful from Shark Tank, Kevin O 'Leary, was asked whether the government should have bailed them out. Take a look. Do you think the government should intervene to bail out private companies like spirit? Never, never. capitalism works, America works, the economy's worked for 250 years because the winners win and the losers lose. The protein is never lost, Stuart. Think of Spirit Airlines as a dead fish. It's now drifting to the bottom of the ocean. The slugs will eat the protein and reprocess it into the environment, which is the economy. The reason Spirit failed, it was poorly managed.

3:53We don't want to back up weak managers. These are losers. Now, when you get the government involved in bailing out a loser. You don't just do airlines. Every guy and his dog with a loser company with weak management is going to put their hand up. And I'm in Washington, D.C. right now. There's a lot of ducks downstairs here squawking for government money. They shouldn't get any of it. That's the whole point. Let them go win it in the environment, the economy they're competing in. So before I have you guys chime in on just general philosophy behind bailouts and what the government should do and everything else, I want to read two tweets from Elizabeth Warren here, because when this happened this week, Elizabeth Warren tweeted out this.

4:31The big four airlines, American Delta, Southwest, and United control 75 % of the U.S. market. Fewer choices equal higher prices. Well, you're right, Elizabeth. Of course, that got community noted because just about two years ago when JetBlue, which is the other kind of quasi-budget airline, although I think they're the best American airline that we have, at least domestically, they were going to merge with Spirit. It would have created all sorts of jobs, more flights, et cetera, et cetera. She stopped it. She wrote, I warned for months that a JetBlue and Spirit Airlines merger would have led to fewer flights and higher fares.

5:08The Antitrust Division and Department of Transportation were right to stand up for consumers and fight against runaway airline consolidation. This is a Biden win for flyers. Well, like most other Biden wins, it turned into a complete failure because Spirit's gone and prices obviously will now rise, less competition, obviously. Nick, I'll give you the first word on this. Generally speaking, government bailouts, do you like them? And should we be surprised that the Democrats mucked this thing up? I mean, JetBlue and Spirit could have really turned into something. Yeah, no, I don't think the government should be bailing out anyone.

5:42Like I noticed when I screw up in my personal life, the government doesn't come and write me a check. I think that this name should be true for other companies as well. And I think it's comical whenever Elizabeth Warren tries to wade into economic issues because the woman's never created any jobs. She is fairly adept at stealing jobs that were earmarked for Native Americans. But other than that, I don't think she has any real job creation experience. John, Mr. Wonderful over there, I just love playing clips in him. I just think he has a great way of explaining sort of complex things in a very, very simple way.

6:14This idea that, okay, well, this thing's broken now. We're going to let it fail, but then these other guys will come pick up the pieces. That's kind of the hope here that somehow prices will stay low because they will kind of have to play along with new conditions in the market. So, Dave, let's use an example you and I know well, right? How many times did we, over the years, try to fly up to Tallahassee from South Florida, Miami or Fort Lauderdale, right? We've got one flight at Miami, a D60Q. By the way, I tracked it last time. It's a 1.4-mile walk from— That gate, it's the gate from hell. It really is.

6:49I'm not kidding. 1.4 miles from a good parking spot in the garage to that gate to get on the plane, right? And so I do think there's something to what O 'Leary said in other airlines, regional carriers, picking up these assets, maybe starting new entities that can serve those regional routes that we need so badly. But look, here's what terrifies me about government intervention, especially when they want an equity stake. We saw what the Democrats did to the gun industry after the Sandy Hook tragedy, after the shooting, right? They put their finger on the scale. They They put Bushmaster out of business.

7:18And as a result, they put their parent company, Remington, a legacy American brand out of business. It had to be bought up in bankruptcy years later for pennies on the dollar. Could you imagine if we went down that road with one company, they saw how much control they can have over the American economy and over American business, over the free market. The Democrats would run wild with this. So no, I don't ever want to see government bailing out companies and taking equity positions because it's a slippery slope. So we all have the same position, which is the same thing that O 'Leary is laying out on the bailout side of it.

7:49But do you think the Democrats will ever learn on this stuff? Because it wasn't just Elizabeth Warren that was wildly against the Jet Blue Spirits merger. You know, Pete Buttigieg was then Transportation Secretary. He was against it. And you would think that maybe if they had the slightest bit of honesty within them, they might come out and say, you know, maybe we did drop the ball on that one because now we are further screwed. But that probably is not going to happen, Nick. No, I think they have a completely different worldview with respect to what the purpose is of the economy and the government's role in the economy.

8:20So the three of us sitting around here, we're looking at it, we're like, yeah, okay, good businesses use good resources effectively to provide products and services to people, and they are rewarded with profits. They look at it as the government should be running all of this stuff. And to the extent that the government isn't running it, it should be directing its every movement in order to achieve social justice or greater equity within the economy. So they really just look at us as we're just cogs in a machine here. And so to the extent that they don't control an industry, it must be cheating people or it must be defrauding people.

8:53And what we really need are super wise politicians and bureaucrats who are entirely altruistic and would never do anything for their own benefit or enrichment to be able to run these organizations so that they'll be more fair and equitable to everybody. and every single time it's tried, it fails. But that never stops them from trying to do it because they just think the wrong people were in charge. Had it been benevolent, altruistic people like Elizabeth Warren, of course a person that has absolutely no experience running an airline or anything within the economy would do a better job than these evil, greedy businessmen.

9:27So if that's your worldview, if that's your starting point in the discussion, then the question is never, gosh, maybe we should learn something about how sucky central planning is. No, you just find different central planners. Well, John, since you nodded along with all of that, I will throw something else at you here, which is that it's not just that the Democrats screw up everything domestically. Apparently, they've also been working with some foreign countries on the DL. So, Premier Jayapal, Congressman Premier Jayapal, who I am told one scariest, what was it most likely to scare small children in dark lighting in Congress from 22 to 25.

10:02She now admits she's been working with foreign countries to supply oil to Cuba. In January, Trump issued an executive order threatening tariffs on any country supplying fuel to Cuba. This was this January, just a few months ago. And oil shipments from Venezuela, that's where Cuba had been getting its oil, were halted after the U.S. operations to kidnap Nicolas Maduro. I was in conversations with the ambassadors from Mexico and some other places, and I know other countries in Latin America are trying to figure out how to get oil there. But it is a crisis beyond imagination. It is illegal. it is against the war.

10:43We've been talking about this in Iran, obviously, to bomb the infrastructure of any country. That is against international law. This is essentially doing the same thing. It is bombing the infrastructure of Cuba with economic sanctions that essentially ensure that the infrastructure collapses. John, allow me to read one line of the Logan Act to you. any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof with intent to influence measures or conduct of any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States or to defeat the measures of the United States shall be fined under this title or in prison, not more than three years or both.

11:41I'm pretty sure she just stepped in it. Yeah, look, she should be in handcuffs. I think the only question is, what would the top charge be, or violation of the Logan Act, or her just complete, absolute stupidity? I mean, but this is nothing new, right? We saw this with John Kerry years back, sitting down with members of the IRGC, Iranian nuclear scientists in Paris, conducting his own foreign policy in direct contradiction to the president of the United States. She's doing the exact same thing, But as Republicans, you and I have spoken about this a thousand times on the show in private. Republicans do not know how to wield power like Democrats.

12:13If a Republican member did that under a Biden DOJ, America, Ireland DOJ, they would already be in handcuffs. They'd be sitting in some detention center in either the D.C. Gulag or Southern District of New York, and they'd be facing a federal trial and most certainly a federal conviction because it's right there on video and audio. But we don't play that way and we need to start playing that way or things are going to get a lot worse. Nick, I've noticed lately that almost all Democrats are constantly, constantly referencing international law as if it has anything to do with American law or supersedes American law or anything else.

12:47It really doesn't exist if you believe in sovereign nations, but they love this idea of international law. Well, again, I think a lot of Democrats see themselves primarily as citizens of the world. Yeah. And part of this comes with a lot of Marxist influence, where it's workers of the world unite, right? They inherently despise any concept of nationalism or even what we would call just base-level patriotism because it distracts from what they really are, which is trying to achieve world harmony and world peace and world objectives. But I think it goes deeper than that. This is part of this critical theory assessment of the world where if it's an enemy of the United States, but the left considers them to be oppressed, well, then they're really the good guys and America's the bad guys.

13:34I think also the thing that's important to remember is whenever the left mentions anything with the law, you always know they're mentioning it strictly to restrict Republican power. Yes. They love mentioning the Constitution when they're out of power. Why? Because the Constitution restricts government power. When they're in power, they couldn't care less about the Constitution or domestic law or international law. So I think it's important to remember that whenever the left brings up anything that could be conceived as restricting power, you know they're not in power because that's all they seem to care about it for.

14:10Well, we might have a Republican here in Florida who believes in the law because there is a Democrat who married her brother, which I'm not a legal expert, but I'm pretty sure that's against the law. Well, here in Florida, Representative Randy Fine says that House Republicans are working on documentation to finally expel Ilhan Omar for marrying her brother. Are you still going to push a vote to expel Ilhan Omar? Well, we're talking about it. We're waiting to get the data on the brother marriage thing, which I think is coming. And I think once it's revealed in the document. The brother marriage thing.

14:44That's where we are. Your brother, I think, will be. That's where we are as a country right now. We've got a member of Congress born in Somalia in Mogadishu who may have married her brother to get him into the country. If it turns out that that is actually the reality, will there be a vote on the floor to expel this woman from Congress? Absolutely. OK, John, I know it's only May, but that might be the quote of the year. The data on the mother, I said it wrong. The data on the brother marriage thing. I mean, look, J.D. has talked about it publicly already, the marriage of the brother. Trump has referenced it a couple of times.

15:18We've seen the marriage license. This is on top of that she was off by$30 million on her personal income tax returns this year, the winery that never existed, et cetera, et cetera. Do you think, I know the commentators. I know what they're going to say in the comments already. They're going to go, you know what? They just never get anybody. They never get anybody, which was sort of Nick's point earlier. They never get anybody. I suspect they're going to get her. I just have a feeling this one, there's just enough there. And it's too damn obvious. They're smoking guns, man. I mean, look, the most telling thing is she doesn't deny it.

15:51Ilhan Omar has never stood up there and said, I didn't marry my brother. She kind of goes under. It's pretty easy to do is to say I didn't. I'm not screwing my brother. You know, how hard is that? But, you know, look, I think they've got her dead to rights. My concern is I think Ilhan, yeah, she hates this country, et cetera, et cetera. She's a massive profiteer. She probably knew every single inside and out of the Somali daycare and school scandals going on in Minnesota. But she's not the one who concerns me the most. I think Rashida Tlaib is far worse in terms of being an active terror recruiter, terror sponsor, and supporter of terror.

16:29I think she's an enemy of this nation. She should be nowhere near Congress or classified information, nowhere near voting on appropriations for the intelligence community or the military. She's the real dangerous one. So I would ask the members of Congress who are watching this show, if you're going to take this up with Ilhan, take it up with Rashida Tlaib as well, because I believe she's a bigger threat to the United States. Right. You know, it's interesting. So it's sort of like, well, the marriage of the brother thing makes it kind of low hanging fruit. But I actually do agree with you in terms of threat to America and who more likely has connections with terrorist organizations and everything else.

17:01Well, Nick, maybe you can speak to that a little bit. Well, I think the first thing we all need to acknowledge is that because the whole brother marriage thing is going to be thoroughly investigated, finally come to light. We all need to prepare ourselves for the four step reporting process that the mainstream media will go through. Step one will be nobody married their brother. Step two will be, why do you care if she married her brother? Step three will be, yeah, she married her brother, but here's why it's a good thing. Step four will be, you're a racist, sexist bigot if you don't marry your brother.

17:31That will be the four-step media process. So I think John's got a good point here that I think Rashida is on some level the greater threat. What I would like to see with this, though, is because I do think there's such a clear violation of immigration law. And by the way, I think the first violation was not with her. I think it was with her father, because I think her father absolutely lied about being a part of a genocidal regime for which he was a colonel in the military for like 26 years. So that's the first level of immigration fraud. I think she engaged immigration fraud, too, with respect to her brother.

18:01And what I want to see is if low-hanging fruit is what it's going to take for the American people to actually see an administration hold a member of Congress accountable for clear violations of the law. And then don't just expel her from Congress. Deport her. denaturalize and deport her she does not belong here she clearly hates this country and so let let's get let's get a win and demonstrate that no this will be done if you're going to either a violate immigration law or b actively work with enemies of the united states in order to throw on uh thwart our own foreign policy i'm completely with you on denaturalize and deport and i would also say the reason i'm a little more bullish on this one is that you know we're seeing a little of the ice break in in congress you know they got rid of swalwell they got rid of the other guy in Texas.

18:46They got rid of the, John, who's the woman in Florida, the representative here in Florida, they got rid of. There's a few of them suddenly that, you know, we're used to just, oh, they all do awful things and nobody ever gets, pays the price, but suddenly it feels like something's happening. So I think something will happen there. You both referenced the insane scandal, the fraud and the money laundering and everything else coming out of Minnesota. And finally now, Tim Walls, he seems to be aware of it and he's doing something about it. It's incredible. I think Minnesotans have to recognize is you're hearing about fraud in Minnesota because we are prosecuting people.

19:23You're going to hear about it in other states. You're going to continue to see it. But the fix is you don't want to hear about fraud, not because somebody is not prosecuting somebody. You don't want to hear about fraud because you know the safeguards and the systems are in place. And I don't see another, there's not another model. No other state has gone to a more decentralized model. Every other state has moved towards a more centralized model of accountability. And I think that's what makes most sense. First off, real quick, it was Representative Sheila McCormick here in Florida who took$5 million of FEMA money and basically used it for her campaign.

19:56So, okay, let's put that aside for a second. John, it's rather extraordinary, this guy. He was sitting on top of this thing, had apparently no idea it was happening. Then one kid shows up, Nick Shirley with the phone, and now this guy is in charge of defrauding the state. It's incredible. He knew everything from day one. He was briefed on it before he ever got into office. He knew exactly what was going on. They sat on it because it didn't comport with the leftist narrative. You couldn't attack black Somali refugees who were scamming the state out of billions upon billions of dollars. I mean, it is absolutely, absolutely ridiculous.

20:32But look, it's why Ilhan skated on this stuff for so long, right? They knew her dad was a murderous warlord. They knew she was engaging in all kinds of financial fraud. They knew that she married her brother. This has been an open secret prayer. By the way, I'm going to add a step five to Nick's four-point media plan. New York Times, step five, incest. Is it really best? Yeah, exactly. I'm sure they've done that already. I'm sure they have. But yeah, I mean, look, Waltz knew everything. He sat on it until he couldn't anymore. When Shirley came with the camera, it was indisputable. It was in black and white.

21:08It was on video. they started full public record. At that point, you can't deny it. So he was forced to do something. Had it never been uncovered, Tim Walsh would still be denying there's any problem. 100%. Right. Nick, it's kind of the same thing as the Elizabeth Warren thing. It's like, no matter how many things you're involved in that are nasty or that you get wrong, you just pretend you're the good guy always, right? Well, and again, I think this is critical because when I go back to this whole critical theory understanding of the world, like I'm a Christian. So I view things through a Christian world, you on a Christian lens.

21:36That's how I interpret reality. They interpret things through a critical theory of reality. So good and bad is not based off of fraud. Good and bad is based off of which group do you belong to? And so the reason why Tim Walz didn't have a problem with billions of dollars of fraud is because it was going to a group that he categorized as oppressed. And oh, by the way, it came back to him in the form of campaign contributions and votes. So for him, this is a wonderful self-perpetuating system where the oppressed are fighting back against the oppressors and they're getting to use the oppressors' money to do it.

22:12This is a net moral positive for them. The only reason why they're saying it's negative right now is because the vast majority of people, when they see this, think, well, this is clearly wrong. And Tim's like, clearly, right? Clearly, yes, absolutely. Clearly wrong. Is that what I need to say? We've decentralized the whole thing. I'm going to fix the problem. Look at me. Look at me. They don't believe it because we're seeing, because Nick Shirley hasn't just uncovered fraud in Minneapolis and Minnesota. It's happening in Ohio and it's happening in California and it's happening in New York, pretty much anywhere, anywhere where they can find Democrats running elements of the government or the bureaucracy.

22:50That's an important one. Sometimes they're not running the government, but they've infiltrated the bureaucracy and that's how they're handing things out. that that's where you see this because they honestly believe this is an equitable distribution of funds taxpayers are there to we're here to be a tax farm for democrats social policies which are then designed in order to get democrats elected so well what's the problem well let's go from the polar opposite or let's go to the polar opposite of minnesota which what i i would say is the free state of Florida and in Florida as revenge against Virginia trying to rig their, you know, well, basically going from a, it's so crazy.

Read the full transcript

23:31They went from a 6-5 state, a 51-49 % voting state had 6-5 representation in Congress. It was the fairest state in the union. Then they vote on it. It goes 10 to 1. Now it's hung up in the Virginia court, as everyone knows. But Ron DeSantis decided, you know what, we're going to get ahead of something. If these guys are going to try to cheat. We are going to get ahead of something. And well, signed, sealed, delivered the new Florida congressional map, which will add four seats for the Republicans. John, I know you're a fight fire with fire guy. So this is all good, right? I think Ron DeSantis is the most brilliant political strategist we've seen in my lifetime.

24:10He's always three steps ahead of them. I mean, full disclosure, Dave, you and I know him pretty well he he uh he just sees what others don't he keeps his finger on the pulse and he understands more important than anything more importantly than anything exactly what floridians want what florida voters want and what also creates a much better quality of life in the state i mean i've been down here 23 years now in south florida i'm in actually in lakewood in florida right now i want to give a little shout out to the cleveland heights golf course the manager let me use his office really nice guy to do this in lakeland look at you doxing yourself all over the place But yeah, I think this was a great move and it represents and it reflects the Florida electorate, right?

24:49We have a 1.5 million GOP voter advantage. We have hundreds of people moving to the state every day. Preliminary data shows most of them are Republican voters. Many of them are former Democrats who switched parties and they saw how DeSantis performed under COVID. So I don't think all this nonsense about how this redistricting was a Republican power grab. Absolutely not. This is fair. This is equitable. And it's representative of our electorate and voter base. And by the way, if Cali is going to purge people and New York's going to purge people, well, they're going to lose representation. And 2.3 million people have moved to Florida since 2020.

25:23Fact. Ultimately, that's going to get us more representatives. I want to jump quickly to the other elections that happened around the country. And this Indiana thing was sort of interesting, these primaries, because it's a red state. But there was there was some sort of push like, oh, does Trump still have a handle on what's going on with the Republicans? And well, yeah, we found out he certainly does. President Trump has been seeking revenge and tonight he is getting it. He is had a successful effort in at least three of the Indiana state Senate primary races. And one of the the Trump challengers has failed.

26:03So right now, the scorecard that the White House is watching very carefully is three to one, and the Trump-backed candidates is leading in the other two. What are we talking about here? Why are we talking about the Indiana State Senate? Because the senators, the Republicans, who have served for nearly 20 years, each one of them who lost, voted against the president's redistricting plan last December. They said that they did not believe it was appropriate to redraw those maps. The White House has said, we are going to throw you out of office, and that is what is happening this evening. All right.

26:32So you can see there are two reasons I wanted to show you guys that clip. One is it goes to the redistricting thing and even Republicans that seem to not want to yield power when they have it. But the more key part of it is that for whatever faction of what we could say is like the Tucker right right now that is saying Trump has lost the base or something like that. No, Trump got a clean sweep in all of the primaries across the country for everyone he endorsed. Nick. I also think the media is totally misreading this. I think they're making this all about Trump's revenge. No, this is about Republican grassroots that are tired with weak, feckless Republicans that don't know what time it is.

27:07And they showed up in the primaries, which, thank God, that's what they should be doing. And I noticed this too. The same people on the right who are constantly complaining about the administration, constantly complaining about the Uniparty or rhinos. They never do anything to defeat rhinos. The people of Indiana just did something to defeat rhinos. And it's going to have a ripple effect across the entire country because I served 10 years in a state legislature and I would tell people your worst Republicans are in your safest districts. They are part of the good old boy crew. They get on the appropriations committee and they just sit there forever.

27:45They never do anything difficult. They're in seats where they never get a contest. I said, if you would just primary these guys, the message you would send to everybody that you didn't primary would be so significant that you would get much better representation. But that's what this was. This wasn't as simple as Trump being mad at somebody. This was righteous anger and indignation at a bunch of, again, weak, feckless Republicans that didn't know what time it was. And now they got replaced by people that are going to fight, which is good because that's exactly what we need right now. The left have been treating us like they're enemies, not their fellow citizens that we have disagreements with.

28:21No, they treat us like they're enemies. And when we have guys up there that are not willing to fight back, they win at our expense while we sit around going, well, it's just not the way we do things in Indiana. Well, it is now. So thank you. That's right. And to your point, Indiana could have done redistricting. They were solidly red state that could have gone even redder. And they didn't because they didn't have people doing exactly what you called for right there. We're kind of bouncing around from crazy to not crazy. So we were in crazy Minnesota, then we're in not crazy Florida. Let's go to crazy New York right now where, you know, Zorhan put out this ad on the PA de Terre tax.

28:54We've covered this a couple of times, but I want to get your take on this, where he literally stood in front of Ken Griffin's house and basically said, burn this thing down, people. Grab his wife and dog. And well, he's doubling down. So I'll first just start by saying that I want all New Yorkers to succeed. That includes business owners and entrepreneurs who create good paying jobs, who make this city the economic engine not just of our state, but frankly of our country. And that also includes Ken Griffin, who is a major employer in our city. That does not negate the fact, however, that our tax system is fundamentally broken.

29:31It rewards extreme wealth while working people are pushed to the brink. It is a status quo that is unsustainable, that is unjust. And if we want the city to be one that working people can actually afford to live in, then we need meaningful tax reform that includes the wealthiest New Yorkers paying their fair share. John, one percent, the top one percent pay 46 percent in taxes. What do you think he would consider the fair amount on that? Ninety nine point nine. He's nine nine nine. I mean, this guy's out of his mind. Right. it. He is a full-blown communist. Some of our friends, Dave, are optimistic about the future in New York.

30:14I grew up there. I policed the city. I watched the city go through many iterations. And one common thread was always, even a Democrat, going back to Ed Koch, they left the NYPD alone. Bill de Blasio started to destroy it. Eric Adams let it happen. And Mamdani has put it into high speed and they're going to soon have a generational problem with the quality of people they're hiring the the qualified people are retiring attrition is happening at a much greater pace than they can even hire and what they're hiring the quality is terrible so now you can lower the fitness standards non-existent non-existent because those fitness standards only really ever applied to white male that's the dirty little secret everybody else got to pass everybody else even white women got to pass but now you've got a situation where you've got a communist mayor that wants to bankrupt the wealthy.

31:01Well, what are they going to do? They're going to move out. So you're going to be left with a non-affluent base in New York City. You're going to be left at the lowest common denominator. You're going to have rampant crime. And you're going to have a police department that for generation, generation and a half, 20 to 25 years, doesn't have the people working there, wearing the badge, carrying the gun, who can do anything about it. So his financial proposals, as insanely left-wing as they are, are only one part of what I think is going to be a devastating hit for New York City. De Blasio primed it, and this guy, man, he is putting the final nails in the coffin, in my opinion.

31:39Nick, I think you're going to agree with me on this, but I truly believe he is trying to implode the city. I don't think he thinks this stuff works. I think it's the communist part, but it's also with the dash of jihad, and I think he's trying to push out every good person, destroy it, and then rebuild it into something that will look completely unlike New York and far closer to Gotham. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not entirely sure. I'll put it this way. Yeah. I never thought the thing that didn't make communism work was that it lacked jihad, but here we are, give another shot at New York. But here's the part that I don't know if he gets this or not.

32:20Margaret Thatcher is famous for saying that the problem with socialism is sooner or later you run out of other people's money. Well, you could get away with that longer in totalitarian communist countries because they could build walls and keep you in it with machine guns. And I disagree. I don't think he wants 99 % of Ken's money. I think he wants to take all of Ken's assets that he wants to kill Ken and sell his organs on the black market, right? I don't think he's happy with anything. I think he sees them as the enemy. The problem that he's going to run into almost immediately is just your point.

32:50People have no concept of who actually pays taxes in the United States in general and specifically in New York City. And all it would take is for maybe 50 to 100, some of the top earners in New York City, to John Gulp that place and go somewhere else. And he's screwed. Forget his$30 million crappy grocery store. Forget his free bus rides. He doesn't have enough to keep the lights on. He's going to be begging New York state for a bailout. He's already going to him begging for a bailout. He's going to, he's going to bake the feds for a bailout. And, and to, to John's point, when you don't have a police force that can actually maintain order, when the police force is now being staffed by people who are likely to gain you to join in on the rioting and the looting, it did become Mondani is about to turn New York's escape from New York city into a documentary.

33:43Yeah. Like it's no longer wild entertainment in the eighties. It's a documentary under his leadership because the infrastructure is not there to even sustain this to a reasonable amount of time. You're going to start to see a crisis come very, very quickly. What I would encourage Ken and all these other guys, don't threaten it. Move. Leave. Because the only way that New York City is going to correct at this point is if they feel the full weight of these policies. and because Momdani, unlike so many other Democrats, comes right out and says he's a socialist and right out and says he wants to seize the means of production.

34:17Great. Let that be the tagline for what happens next in New York. Yeah, and by the way, Ken Griffin has said they still are moving a huge amount of the operations to Miami, which is galls gulch to go with your reference there. Let me throw to this, though, because the other thing that's going on is it's not just that Momdani's trying to take out New York City. The communist ideas seem to be bursting forth absolutely everywhere that the Democrats are right now. There just are no more old school Democrats. They have morphed into this new thing. Here is AOC with, I guess, comedian. I used to do stand-up with her, believe it or not, a lifetime ago, Ilana Glazer.

34:54And they just don't like rich people. There's a certain level of wealth and accumulation that is unearned, right? You can't earn a billion dollars. That's right. You just can't earn that. That's exactly correct. You can get market power. You can break rules. You can do all sorts of things. You can abuse labor laws. You can pay people less than what they're worth. But you can't earn that, right? And so you have to create a myth that since you didn't earn that, you have to create a myth of earning it. Oh, I think we're going to have fun with this one. So to get that level of wealth, you have to break rules, abuse labor laws, pay people less than they are worth.

35:47We checked it on my show yesterday. Elon employs 146 ,000 people across his companies. I am pretty sure that does not involve breaking rules. It's actually getting life to go interstellar. I'm pretty sure he's not abusing labor laws. He's building tunnels under the earth and he's got quadriplegics playing chess with their mind and paying less than they're worth. I'm pretty sure the people of Tesla and SpaceX, et cetera, are compensated fairly. John, this woman's an idiot. I don't have a question. He's a moron. I mean, look, great example with Elon, right? You take companies like Home Depot, the founders of billionaires, how many hundreds of thousands do they employ?

36:22UPS during Christmas has something like 800 ,000 to a million employees worldwide. The shareholders are really wealthy, the founders of the company, the main equity holders, as they should be for what they're contributing. I mean, this is stupidity beyond, but I don't think she really believes that. I think she knows full well this just plays well to her base. This is good red meat for her base. Her district, if you know her district, is a pretty low-income district. English is primarily the second language. So for her, this makes perfect sense. It positions her to be a presidential candidate, To your point in this new insane Democratic Party, and it ensures she will keep her district forever if she wants it.

37:02Nick, I mean, everything she said there is what you've been illustrating throughout the show, right? Well, I think most billionaires in America wish they were as rich as Hugo Chavez's daughter. Right. Nobody knows wealth like a communist dictator, right? Right. No, again, it's absurd because it's coming from someone that has no conception of how economic supply and demand markets actually work. She doesn't need to. She doesn't care. She's trying to win votes, not actually build a company or manage anything productive. And one of the best ways to build votes is to actually appeal to envy and appeal to disgust.

37:36And so, you know, she talks about like you can't earn a billion dollars, so you have to create a myth. Well, no, she believes in a myth and she didn't need to create it. She just needed to have about$100 ,000 in college debt to attain it. Because to your point, one of the biggest problems that we have on the right is we've been incredibly effective in the marketplace. We've been incredibly effective on using scarce resources that have alternative purposes to meet the needs, wants, and demands of the marketplace. But at the same time, we've given up on so many culturally shaping institutions, whether it's Hollywood, whether it's journalism, whether it's academia.

38:09And now it's within our public school system as well, because in order to get a teaching degree, where do you got to go? Higher education. What's the most leftist element of almost any college university campus? The education department. This is the whole Antonio Gramsci march through the institutions. Gramsci understood this. Gramsci was an Italian socialist in the 30s. He was imprisoned and he said, you know what? I really like Karl Marx, but nothing is going the way Marx promised it would. And he even pointed out, he's like, the capitalists seem to do a pretty good job of actually providing laborers with good jobs and a good life and a good wage So how do we fix that?

38:46How do we change that? And his whole thing was cultural Marxism. Well, how do you do that? You have to take over the culturally shaping institutions, and then you have to influence culture to think about reality in a very, very different way. And it's not hard to see why in some of these environments, it's not hard to see why socialists thrive within the university system. Why? Because they can get tenure and they never pay any price for being wrong about anything. In fact, they get promoted, right? And so this is what she is a product of. This is what they've been continuously pushing and everything from our university system to kids' cartoons to you name it.

39:23And so it's not difficult when you have a generation of young people that look at this and go, oh yeah, that's why I'm not succeeding is because Elon Musk is holding me down. Like it's absurd on its face. Right, and by the way, I don't remember the exact, I don't remember the exact numbers, but let's not forget that Elon's pay package with Tesla, his reward basically was only if he hit numbers that were so insane, the entire board was like, yeah, let him do it. He'll never hit these numbers. And they sold so many cars that he got a huge package. And then of course, what happened? Elizabeth Warren tried to stop that too.

One on the crazy side, and then we'll end on a positive note before we hit the weekend here. But Megyn Kelly, you guys have both talked quite a bit about her and Tucker and what's going on with this strange portion of the right. This edited video that shows her talking in January 26 versus quite literally just days ago, to me, seems like the most damaging piece of evidence of her dissent that you could possibly put out there. Take a look.

41:05Islam is not consistent with the values of America, of the West. They should stay in countries that don't care about keeping church and state separated. They should stay in countries that don't care about protecting free speech. They should stay in countries that don't care about women's rights. That's where Islam can fester and grow. It's great. I mean, I'm sure if that's like your thing and you don't care about like genital mutilation, you might really enjoy living in an Islamic country. I think he's understanding there may be some new listeners over here. You know, like he's gotten very, very popular lately, I read, with Muslim viewers because he's been standing up for Islam.

41:46You know, and I have to tell you, Mark, it's been something I've noticed just since I've gotten sort of more clear-eyed on Israel that a lot of the anti-Muslim rhetoric that's put out there originates with people who are very, very pro-Israel who kind of need us to demonize them? Yeah, I didn't need Israel to demonize Islam when I saw the planes hit the World Trade Center. I was pretty much like, hey, you know, that seems pretty bad in and of itself. I didn't require additional introspection or influence from anyone else. You know, can I say some of this real quick, David? Dinesh D'Souza did the best breakdown of this I've seen so far.

42:25It would be one thing. It would be one thing if Megyn Kelly or Tucker Carlson or any of these guys had come out and said, I'm going to systematically explain why 47 seconds ago I believed one thing and now I believe the polar and complete opposite. it. And here is the logically consistent argument I'm going to make with the supporting evidence and facts in order to sustain it. None of them did that. None of them. It was just overnight, Israel explains everything. Look, you want to be skeptical of the Israeli government? Good. I'm skeptical of all governments. But the degree of hostility and animosity here is completely out of proportion.

43:11And there has been no effective explanation for any of it. And that leads people to wonder like, okay, what's going on right here? Have you converted? Are you getting paid? What is it? Like, I'm willing to hear the argument, but what I hear is vibes. And what I hear is to the extent that arguments are made, they're completely devoid of logical consistency or actual evidence. Like the perfect example of this is Tucker Carlson going, well, there's far more Christians in Qatar. Yeah, they're part of an imported workforce that lives on a specialized compound, Tucker. What do you think happens? What do you think happens if the Filipino plumber goes down and starts proselytizing in the name of Jesus?

43:51Well, if they do that in Jerusalem, nothing happens. And if they do that in Qatar, they can be imprisoned. Do you not know this? Do you not understand this? Do you not care about this? That's the intellectual dishonesty. I'm just so tired. And the fact that Megan is now doing this, I'm like, I don't, I don't know how to explain it because they won't. And so I'm assuming the worst at this point. So John, it seems to me there's two things going on here. One is what sort of Nick is talking about, which is that there's this obvious flip on something she seemed to be very clear about in January. She now is a hundred percent the other way.

44:23That's one portion. But the other part is that she's basically like, well, Tucker is just reading the room and the room says there's a lot of Muslims and he wants clicks. And in essence, what she's really saying is I want clicks. That's what she's really saying. I want clicks. And yeah, there are 2 billion Muslims and there's only 16 mil pesky Jews. So let's do this. Fucker's demon obviously jumped over to Megan because I mean, this is just preposterous, right? This whole thing. But we know why they're doing this, Dave. We know you and I saw since what? Late 15, early 16, the Qatari influence op in DC.

44:56I mean, they would hang around the lobby at Trump DC when it was a Trump hotel, walking up to influencers out in the open, offering them 10, 15,$20 ,000 a month to spew pro-cutter messaging. So I wonder how much. They denied they got paid by cutters. So I'll ask the question. I don't personally believe that. I think you can be paid by a proxy. You can be paid by a cutout. We all know that. But I think it's highly plausible and highly likely that a lot of money flowed to people like Tucker and Megan to take these preposterous positions. I asked one of their supporters one day, I said, what has Israel done to you?

45:28Don't tell me about the world. Is Israel coming to your house at night and woken you up when you needed a good sleep. What has Israel done to you? And they said, are you kidding me? I said, just give me an answer. And they hung the phone up on me. So this is what you're dealing with. You can't have dialogue with these people. You can't have discourse. They just scream Israel Jews and hang the phone up or run away. And they're not normal human beings. So it's all for money, clearly. Nick, have you ever seen anyone burn up their credibility as quickly as Megan? It's one thing that Tucker for the last year has been slowly going down this path and we've all been kind of seeing it.

46:01And I reached out to him privately before I ever said a word publicly and he did not bite. But Megan, it seems to me, what happened with Megan was the day she saw Fuentes with Tucker, she saw the energy and she's like, I'm going for that. And that's why she was quiet on Candace, if not outright defending Candace, while she'll go after other young mothers like Meghan Markle or Meghan McCain. But I've never seen anyone just burn up all of their cred with so many decent people and just turn on so many friends just just like that no i haven't either i mean again i was someone where once upon a time tucker candace megan all of them i i enjoyed the reporting i enjoyed their analysis um and then but slowly over time and again it's not like i threw everyone overboard the moment we had a disagreement right like i i stood by and listened i said well look okay we agree on all these other things but we don't agree on this thing.

46:51They were the ones that chose to make one thing, everything. And the biggest part that bothered me is that the moment I would offer any criticism, I didn't even say like, oh, I really like Megan, but this, or, you know, I really appreciate all the work Tucker's done, but I don't agree with this. And then I would watch the comments section and it was instantly, you've been paid off. Did you get your 7 ,000 shekels? You're a traitor to your country. And I'm like, wait a second here. Like I fought overseas for my country. I have done nothing but fight for conservative values since I was 15. And now because I question one thing about what Tucker said, I am a traitor.

47:27I'm like, no, no, no, that's manufactured. And I've seen this before. I've seen this line of argumentation and ostracization before. I see it on the left. This is the way the left argues. It's like, oh, you don't agree with everything I want, or you don't agree with what, I may say I care about all these other things, but this is the thing I really care about. Well, the moment you present any counter argument, I don't engage with your argument. I engage in ad hominem attack. I attack you. I attack your character. I attack your motivations. I'm like, you're not getting this over on me. For 10 years, I sat in the General Assembly and watched as the Democrats did this every dang day.

48:02I'm not about to let my own side start to do it and get away with it as if this is normal or okay. It isn't. Again, as Dinesh said, if you want to go and make a good, comprehensive, well-thought-out argument that you are willing to allow someone else to scrutinize and combat with, Fine, I'm happy to hear that discussion. Of course. But they won't. They won't do it. And they know why they won't do it. It's because they'd lose. And that's the ultimate irony of all of this. If they were making those arguments and they were open to the discussions as they used to at least pretend to be, I would be all about having those discussions.

48:36And I would literally welcome Megan to my home for dinner. She loves David's chicken parm and she could have it. And we would talk it out over some tequila. But she's chosen another path. But I don't want to end on that. I want to end on something very pro-America, positive, that illustrates all of the goodness of this country and that things aren't, I don't think, as bad as the Panikins and the Black Pillars believe. And as you guys know, you probably saw this video, Marco Rubio stepped in for the day as if the guy is not wearing enough hats and the meme about him taking all the jobs and all the stuff.

49:05He decided, or somebody decided, maybe it was Trump decided, that he would be press secretary for a day as Caroline Levitt took the day off. And here is Rubio being asked about the greatness of America. And this is an edited version that his team put out. And it's just spectacular. Take a look. I got to ask you, what is your hope for America at a time such as this? My hope for America? My hope for America is what it's always been. I think it's the hope I hope we all share. We want it to continue to be the place where anyone from anywhere can achieve anything. Where you're not limited by the circumstances of your birth, by the color of your skin, by your ethnicity.

49:42but frankly it's a place where you are able to overcome challenges and achieve your full potential. I think that should be the goal of every country in the world, but I think in the U.S. we're not perfect. Our history is not one of perfection, but it's still better than anybody else's history. Ours is a story of perpetual improvement. Each generation has left the next generation of Americans freer, more prosperous, safer, and that is our goal as well. And as we come upon this 250 year anniversary, I think we have a lot to learn and be proud of in our history. It is one of perpetual and continuous improvement where each generation has done its part to bring us closer to fulfilling the vision that the founders of this country had upon its founding.

50:17I mean, guys, I don't know if you could see, even though I've seen it five times already, I don't know if you could see me scribbling during that, but just if I go with the buzzwords that he threw it in there, my hope, we share, achieve, not limited, overcome, not perfect, better than anywhere else, freer, freer generation, learn, improvement, like everything there, it's positive. It's positive and And it's affirming and it's giving you something so you will have some autonomy in your life. It's quite literally the reverse of every lefty thing that we have portrayed in this show. John, this guy, I mean, he's the all-star of the show right now.

50:52He's outstanding. You know, this is the Marco Rubio I saw 20 years ago when he was Speaker of the Florida House. Then he went to the Senate and deluded himself down. So I'm not surprised by this because I saw this guy and I always knew he was this guy. John McCain got his hooks in him. Marco was a young senator and he started to pivot to a place I didn't like, but man, is he back? And is he back hard? And I just love it. I think he's, I think he has become a rock star in his own right. And, uh, he's going to be formidable in 28 as we sit here right now. Yeah. Uh, Nick, final word on all this. It seems to me that there were obviously the media is going to try to put some kind of wedge between him and JD.

51:28Cause JD is the heir apparent as VP. They're going to want all that fighting. I just don't think it matters right now. I just think let's just all keep doing good stuff. Let's wrap Iran up nicely. Let's get some economic wins. Maybe we get an expansion of the Abraham Accords. Gas price goes down. And then maybe, maybe the midterms go okay and we've got at least two more years in this country. What do you think? I think for a few years now, the right has largely been defined by what we oppose. And that makes sense because I think just as humans, we're designed to see threats. We're designed to see danger.

52:01And when we see it, it motivates us to action in a way that sometimes good news does not. But what I love so much about what Rubio said there is that it reminds us what we're fighting for, not just what we're fighting against. And ultimately, ultimately, if you really want people to be motivated and passionate, I can tell you as a former soldier, the best soldiers are the ones that love what they're fighting for more than they hate what they're fighting against. and I think Rubio perfectly articulated it there in such a way to where that's a guy I want to charge a hill with and it's a guy that I think, it's a statement and it's a vision that I think most Americans deep down yearn for and recognize and they haven't been able to hear it much lately because of all the fighting and that fighting is necessary by the way but ultimately I want to know what I'm fighting for and I'm very grateful for Marco Rubio for doing such a brilliant job of articulating it.

52:56Gentlemen, you are welcome back anytime. I thank you for playing along. We've got a little this week. Oh, wait, John, you wanted to mention, by the way, you're doing a little work with our lieutenant governor right now. Let me give you 30 seconds to toss that up. Jay Collins. It's jayforflorida.com. He's running for governor, a lot like what Rubio spoke about. The guy grew up on a failed farm, grew up on welfare, became a Green Beret, and lost a leg in Afghanistan, and now he's lieutenant governor of Florida. So it's really the American dream, but I encourage people to check him out. But on the senior advisor to his gubernatorial campaign, born in a way just an awesome candidate, and we have really high hopes.

53:32He is, I know him personally. He's been on the show. He is a great, great human being. I thank you guys. We've got this week on the internet coming up in just moments. And we have canned laughter as if we were a mainstream show because the audience in those shows don't know when to laugh, so they have to pump laughter in. We're going to do that too. Thanks, guys. See ya.

53:58Thank you. Thank you. Great to be here once again, guys. This week on the Internet, you know, we're in an era of rebranding. Facebook became meta. Twitter became X. Dunkin' Donuts became Dunkin'. And in the most unshocking rebrand of all, Nick Fuentes became a moderate Democrat. I'm a non-woke moderate Democrat. I think the GOP needs to be destroyed. I think the corrupt criminal government of Trump needs to be slowed down. Good luck, John Fetterman. You're our only hope. Of course, more surprising than that was that Megyn Kelly this week became an imam. And Tucker, well, he became an Islamic gigolo.

54:36So, actually, nothing's changed there. This week, Secretary of State Marco Rubio hosted a press briefing in lieu of Caroline LeVette. One reporter asked Rubio what his DJ name would be after a video emerged of him DJing at a family wedding. Rubio replied to the reporter, you're not ready for my DJ name. But I actually think we already know his DJ name. Little Marco, Little Marco. Speaking of the spotlight, the Met Gala happened this week and nowhere was the disconnect from reality stronger. Actress Sarah Paulson wore a dollar bill over her eyes to call out the 1%. The actress, who's worth an estimated$12 million, used her outfit to call out the world's elite while attending the$100 ,000 per person Met Gala.

55:22To quote Benjamin Franklin, we are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid. This kind of virtue signaling reminds me of Anne Hathaway last week calling for skinny models in Devil Wears Prada 2 to be replaced by fatter ones. So when I came on the set and I saw that the models, who were very lovely, were all a bit traditionally sized, I kind of went to the producers and was like, wouldn't it be great if there were just more bodies, more types of bodies? And they looked around and they said, we're so annoyed at ourselves that we didn't notice that. And they made the change in like two seconds.

55:55So all credit to them. She's so body positive that she has to be surrounded by fat chicks all the time. I mean, come on. It's the devil wears Prada, not the devil wears a FUPA. It's also not Louis Widerton. Orbit Outfitters. Vicky does. Hermesive. Or Dolce and Gigabana. I think that made sense. You get it, maybe, as much as I do. This week on the internet, a poll from Gavin Newsom's office asked Californians whether illegal immigration is a serious problem. 35 % of respondents answered, yes, it is a serious problem. And 65 % of respondents answered, no es una problema seriosa. ¿Dónde está la biblioteca?

56:41And speaking of people struggling with English and numbers, I still can't believe that Ilhan Omar mistook the Roman numeral II in World War II to mean XI. The last time the Alien Enemies Act was invoked, it was used to detain and deport German, Japanese, Italian immigrants during World War XI. To think that woman graduated the top of her class at the Quality Leering Center. You know, my team went undercover in Minneapolis and got footage of the Leering Center's graduation ceremony. Check it out. My plan is that I will be pilot, and I will help everyone. Pilot. Yeah, he's a pilot. Great!

57:22Look, I love dunking on Ilhan as much as the next guy, but it's fairly obvious to any observer that she was just including other wars like the Greco-Persian, Parthian Wars, Shang-Zu War, and, of course, the Bananas and Rice War. Jokes aside, isn't it a little ironic she's the one calling us stupid? These people are just idiots. I really, you know, I'm at the point where it's become really hard to have an intellectual debate with any of these people. The dumbing of the United States has arrived because how else do we get a Trump presidency again? That woman is calling us dumb. Is irony truly dead?

58:02that would be like O.J. Simpson writing a book about how he would have killed his wife. Oh, wait. He did do that. Or if Tiger Woods became a DEA agent. Or a driver's ed instructor. This week on the internet, news emerged that the gates to hell are starting to burn out. The gates to hell is a giant crater in the Turkmenistan desert that has been burning continuously for more than 50 years. When contacted about why the crater's finally starting to burn out after all these years, the devil cited high gas prices, which is also the reason why Spirit Airlines went out of business earlier this week. Unless it was really this.

58:42Go suck another dirty deal. Okay, that's funny. That's funny. Speaking of the devil, Zorhan Mamdami effed around and found out when billionaire CEO Ken Griffin decided to expand Citadel's offices in Miami, Florida, adding thousands of jobs, citing Zorhan's video outside his penthouse that is a deciding factor. And that's the same thing Elizabeth Warren did with Spirit Airlines. She blocked their merger with JetBlue because she said she didn't want four giant airlines controlling everything. Yada, yada, yada. The next time you go suck a dirty dick, it'll have to be on a United flight out of Newark.

59:17Go suck another United... Yeah, that's progressive logic for you. It's like trying to ace the SATs, but you're being tutored at the Quality Leering Center. So if you're looking for something to do this weekend to avoid the insanity of the internet, I always recommend revisiting a classic movie you haven't seen in a while. And this week, my pick is Rocky 11. You fought the double Russian in that one. Movies have a way of pulling you out of reality for a couple hours. You stop thinking about the internet, politics, Zorhan, and just become invested in the characters. And look at our Hero of the Week, Spencer Pratt, running for mayor of Los Angeles.

59:57The guy watched Batman once and never came back. And that is This Week on the Internet. Now log off.

Dave Rubin of "The Rubin Report" talks to John Cardillo and Nick Freitas about "Shark Tank's" Kevin O'Leary explaining to Fox News why there should not have been a bailout of Spirit Airlines which might have not even happened if Elizabeth Warren hadn't prevented it's planned merger with JetBlue Airlines; Rep.Randy Fine revealing that Republicans are waiting for some data on if Ilhan Omar committed immigration fraud before proceeding with a push to expel her from congress; Zohran Mamdani facing backlash after Citadel CEO Ken Griffin announced he would be reducing his investment in NYC and doubling down on Miami after Mamdani targeted Griffin with his "tax the rich" stunt and the truth about how the ranks of the NYPD are declining to dangerous levels; Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez trying to explain to "It's Open with Ilana Glazer" why a billion dollars can't actually be earned and that billionaires like Elon Musk can only exist because the system is rigged; Megyn Kelly going viral over her sudden flip flop on if Islamic culture is compatible with Western Civilization after realizing that Tucker Carlson has been growing his fan base with Muslim audiences; and 'This Week on the Internet' featuring Nick Fuentes, Megyn Kelly, Marco Rubio, the Met Gala, Anne Hathaway, Ilhan Omar; and much more.
