00I've tried a lot of seafood over the years, guys, and truly it's been hit or miss. You know, sometimes it looks great, but then you cook it and it just doesn't have that flavor or freshness you expect. So finding something reliable has made a huge difference. Wild Alaskan Company really changed that for me. It's the best way to receive high quality wild caught seafood delivered right to your door on your schedule. The first box I got was super easy to use. Everything comes individually portioned and vacuum sealed, so there's no guesswork. I cooked that wild Alaskan sockeye salmon just in a pan with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper, and it turned out fantastic.

34Clean flavor, great texture, and didn't feel like frozen fish at all. I've also tried the wild Pacific cod, which I love. It's light and flaky and really easy to work in when you need a quick dinner. What stood out is that the fish is quick frozen right after it's caught in Alaska, so it locks in that freshness along with the nutrients like omega-3s. And it's clean, no GMOs, no antibiotics, no additives. And it supports sustainable fishing and Alaskan fishermen. They're so confident in the quality that there's 100 % satisfaction, money-back guarantee, so there's no risk in trying it. Go to wildalaskan.com slash Rubin for$35 off your first order of premium wild-caught seafood.

17Hey, everybody. I'm Dave AI, and this is First Look. Look, it's Thursday, September 10th, 2026. We've got a packed show for you today. NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tish blasts 9-11 revisionists, blurring lines between heroes and terrorists. Anthropic researcher abruptly quits, chillingly warns AI could kill us all, and current team leader agrees. And comedians pull out a festival after Jerry Seinfeld announced as headliner. Let's dive in. Moral clarity on 9-11 and shame on those who try to erase it. 25 years after Islamic terrorists murdered nearly 3 ,000 Americans, New York's top cop is drawing a bright, necessary line.

07NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch pointedly called Wednesday for moral clarity ahead of the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks, decrying those blurring the lines between heroes and terrorists. Tish made the remarks alongside a stone-faced Mayor Zoran Mamdani as they unveiled a new 9-11 memorial wall at one police plaza on Wednesday. The wall includes 469 new names commemorating NYPD members who have died of 9-11-related illnesses. It preserves the unfathomable devastation from the attack on the World Trade Center towers and the heroism in response, Tish said. Preserving that history also means preserving its moral clarity, she said.

58The men who attacked this city were terrorists. The men and women who ran into the towers to save innocent lives were heroes. 25 years cannot be allowed to blur that distinction and shame on those who do. That condemnation didn't name names, but the target is obvious to anyone paying attention. Online personality Hassan Piker, a vocal lefty Mamdani supporter, has come under sustained criticism for previously saying that America deserved 9-11. In recent months, Piker began displaying a framed newspaper front page showing the South Tower of the World Trade Center erupting in flames seconds after being struck by a jet liner hijacked by Islamic terrorists.

47That's not context. That's a middle finger to the dead and the first responders who are still dying from that day. Mamdani, for his part, didn't flinch as Tish made her remarks. The mayor and commissioner later participated together in a briefing covering security preparations for the attack's 25th anniversary Friday. Last week, Mamdani signed a 9-11 executive order and then handed the ceremonial pen he used to a lawyer who once defended an Al-Qaeda terrorist. That's the company this administration keeps. Heroes ran into the fire. Terrorists flew the planes. Anyone who treats those two groups as morally equivalent is not nuanced.

32They are wrong, and they should be called out, especially in New York, on the eve of the anniversary. An anthropic researcher walks out and says the quiet part out loud. A researcher for one of the largest and most valuable artificial intelligence companies has publicly quit while raising the alarm that the technology could kill us all by the end of the decade. Jacob Coxon, who has performed pre-training research at Anthropic and OpenAI for the last three years, posted on a wildly viral X-thread that neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives, he wrote late Tuesday with others from the company backing his warning.

17Do not underestimate the power of this technology, Coxon warned. these will soon be superhuman systems that can hack anything, revolutionize any field overnight, and acquire real power and resources. The people building AI earnestly believe that it could kill us all by the end of the decade, he wrote, saying his warning was not a marketing stunt. If anything, many executives and senior researchers will couch their phrasing in the press to sound sensible, but I hear the same people express fear privately. No other human activity poses this level of danger. Coxon further claimed that many at OpenAI have yet to fully grasp the civilizational stakes involved in their work.

03Although he said Anthropic seems to better understand the risks involved, the company is locked in a heated race with competitors. At Anthropic, the stakes are well understood, but they are locked in a race to get there first. They believe no one else will act responsibly, so they must do it themselves, despite the risk, he alleged. Accepting this race and entering the endgame is a hubristic gamble that should not be launched from a private company's slack. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

40Evan Hubinger, a team lead at Anthropic, seconded Coxon's fears. Jacob is correct here. We really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans. I personally think it is greater than 10 % within the next decade, he wrote in response on X. Samuel Marks, a safety expert for Anthropic, also shared Coxon's thread while confirming that AI developers believe their technology could cause human extinction. Coxson called the incident a warning shot that should prompt leading AI firms to coordinate more closely. He closed, urging researchers to consider the ramifications of increasingly capable AI models, and not to accept their potentially dangerous evolution as inevitable.

25Should you put your head down because it's happening anyway, or take this moment to call for different conditions, he asked. Private companies racing each other towards systems they privately admit could wipe out humanity is not innovation. It's recklessness dressed up as progress. The people closest to the work are saying the risk is real. Pretending otherwise is the opposite of serious. The cancel culture mob comes for Jerry Seinfeld. Again, a rash of performers dropped out of a Portuguese comedy festival after it was announced that Jerry Seinfeld will headline it in apparent protest of the Jewish American comedian's support for the state of Israel.

09The Lisbon International Humor Festival, scheduled to take place October 29th to November 1st, is set to be Seinfeld's live debut in the country. Tickets for his performance are selling for 60 to 220 euros,$70 to$256. Several of the artists who pulled out made oblique references to Seinfeld, but none named the comedian or his support for Israel explicitly. Actress Inez Erez Pereira wrote on Instagram Saturday, A festival includes many artists, and in this case, one of the names insistently defends ideas and actions that I consider indefensible. We cannot relativize or normalize genocide, she said.

53Israel strongly rejects accusations it has committed genocide in the Gaza Strip, where two years of war left some 70 ,000 dead, around a third to a quarter of whom were combatants, according to military estimates. Comedic duo Cebola Mole, in a post that included a watermelon-themed graphic, frequently used as a symbol of the Palestinian cause, wrote, Hello, friends. Our show on October 31st will not take place. We will celebrate justice, freedom, and joy at a future opportunity. The Tributo Pop and Conjunto Cucamanga groups, as well as visual artist Vils and comedian Pedro Toches, all canceled their shows as well without indicating why.

38Seinfeld traveled to Israel in December 2023, several months into the war, sparked by the Hamas terror group's October 7th invasion of Israel, in which terrorists killed some 1 ,200 people, mostly civilians, and took 251 hostages. The comedian and his wife met with freed hostages and families of those who were still in captivity, and visited Kibbutz Be 'eri, which lost more than 100 of its 1 ,100 residents in the massacre. He later called the trip the most powerful experience of his life. Seinfeld has been repeatedly heckled at shows and during a Duke University commencement speech over his expressions of support for Israel, and has mocked those interrupting him.

21After someone disrupted an event with freed hostage Omer Shem Tov, the comedian said the Ku Klux Klan was more honest in its anti-Semitism than some who used the slogan Free Palestine. On other occasions, Seinfeld has responded to the slogan by saying, it doesn't exist, and I don't care about Palestine. Supporting Israel after October 7th is not a thought crime. Walking out of a comedy festival because a Jewish comedian visited massacre sites and met hostages is not justice. It's the same old boycott dressed up as conscience. Seinfeld didn't blink, neither should anyone else. And that's your first look this Thursday.

03Quick recap, Commissioner Tisch refused to let 9-11 revisionists blur heroes and terrorists. An anthropic researcher quit and said the people building superintelligence privately believe it could kill everyone. And a Portuguese festival lost Axe because Jerry Seinfeld supports Israel. We'll keep following all of it. I'm Dave AI. Thanks for starting your day with First Look. See you tomorrow.
