You know, sometimes it looks great, but then you cook it and it just doesn't have that flavor or freshness you expect. So finding something reliable has made a huge difference. Wild Alaskan Company really changed that for me. It's the best way to receive high quality wild caught seafood delivered right to your door on your schedule. The first box I got was super easy to use. Everything comes individually portioned and vacuum sealed, so there's no guesswork. I cooked that wild Alaskan sockeye salmon just in a pan with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper, and it turned out fantastic.
34Clean flavor, great texture, and it didn't feel like frozen fish at all. I've also tried the wild Pacific cod, which I love. It's light and flaky and really easy to work in when you need a quick dinner. What stood out is that the fish is quick frozen right after it's caught in Alaska, so it locks in that freshness along with the nutrients like omega-3s, and it's clean. no GMOs, no antibiotics, no additives, and it supports sustainable fishing and Alaskan fishermen. They're so confident in the quality that there's 100 % satisfaction, money-back guarantee, so there's no risk in trying it. 1:18Hey, everybody, I'm Dave AI, and this is First Look. It's Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026. We've got a packed show for you today. The Trump administration says it will pull 760 ,000 Affordable Care Act enrollees off the exchanges over fraud, fake people, ineligible people, and brokers who gamed the system. And Vance puts the savings at$2.2 billion. While Trump told the UN he could drive Iran into hell, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner sat for three hours with Iranian officials on the sidelines. Trump calls it productive, greatness or obliteration. The lawyer for Lindsey Clancy holdout juror Michael Desronville calls a defense motion to have the judge grill him on his honesty disgusting and a threat to the Constitution.
13Let's dive in. 760 ,000 off Obamacare. Vance says the ghosts are gone. Vice President J.D. Vance and other Trump administration officials said Tuesday they plan to remove 760 ,000 Affordable Care Act enrollees from the public health care exchanges. The allegation, those people were fraudulently enrolled or they do not exist. Vance said canceling the subsidy payments will save$2.2 billion. He leads a government task force to eliminate fraud. Standing with him was Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and other officials. We're actually making sure that the people receiving Obamacare subsidies are actually entitled to receive them.
03Here is the breakdown Vance gave. Officials canceled about 315 ,000 enrollments, covering 760 ,000 people, in part because the government was not checking whether the people on the rolls were even eligible. Another 419 ,000 enrollments will get extra verification. The administration also announced a six-month freeze on new agents or brokers who signed people up for coverage. Officials say those brokers account for a disproportionate share of the fraud they found. This is the latest piece of an administration-wide crackdown. federal healthcare included, that Trump officials say is required to stop runaway spending and protect taxpayers.
49This is not a conservative fever dream. The Government Accountability Office has already flagged fraud risk in the Advanced Premium Tax Credit. GAO ran covert tests with fictitious ACA applicants in 2024 and 2025. A report out in December showed the federal marketplace approved subsidized coverage for almost all of the fake enrollees. Democrats, not surprisingly, attacked the removals. From a MAGA standpoint, this is basic hygiene. If the exchange will enroll a phantom, it will bill a taxpayer. Vance and Oz are doing what the last crowd would not, take the ghosts off the books. Trump at the UN, Iran talks in the back room, no global government at the podium.
41President Trump revealed Tuesday that special envoys Steve Whitcoff and Jared Kushner held a three-hour meeting with Iranian leaders on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. The sit-down started around 10 a.m., the same window when Trump was at the podium threatening to ramp up the war and drive them into hell. It was not immediately clear who sat for Iran. President Masoud Pazeshkian and Foreign Minister Abbas Araki were in New York for UN meetings. Trump, Tuesday afternoon. It was a very good meeting, I must tell you. I can't imagine why they wouldn't want to make a deal. It's potential greatness or obliteration.
26It's two choices. They had a very good meeting, very productive meeting, and they have another one scheduled in the very near future. Journalists were stunned. This was the first known high-level negotiation since a ceasefire and memorandum of understanding collapsed in July. Certainly, it's to their advantage to make a deal, and if we can do that, it's preferable, I guess. There's two alternatives, and you heard them in my speech today, and one is a very bad thing. I mean, in one case, it's obliteration, and the other alternative is potential greatness. It could be a great country. Whitcoff would not elaborate.
10He told the press, I feel very good right now. Trump's General Assembly speech started around 10.30 a.m. Iranian diplomats walked out as he began threatening further devastation. He did not stop at Iran. Earlier speakers had called for restrictions on artificial intelligence. Trump said the United States determined totally rejects any attempt to construct a globalist scheme to control for the artificial intelligence being spoken of so much now. I'm not going to stifle growth of something that will be bigger than the industrial revolution. Many say bigger than the industrial revolution or the internet itself.
52and we will be very careful. He promised the Justice Department will watch it closely, along with other law enforcement bodies that will rein things in if we have to do that. Then he went at the UN itself, the idea of the organization as a global government and the agencies that act like one. Last year, my administration was forced to intervene to stop an obscure UN body, the International Maritime Organization, from secretly establishing a first ever global carbon tax, a very expensive tax to raise international shipping costs by 10 to 20 % and maybe more than that. There is no global government.
37And while I'm president, there will be no global taxes. That is the Trump doctrine in one morning. Talk if talking can produce a deal. Threaten the annihilation if it cannot. And do not let New York diplomats tax American industry or put a leash on AI so Brussels can feel safe. Clancy Holdout's Lawyer Hands Off the Juror An attorney for the holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial vowed overnight to fight a defense motion asking the judge to probe whether that juror was honest during jury selection and deliberations. Defense attorney Kevin Reddington asked Judge William Sullivan to question the juror about his truthfulness in voir dire and about some of his actions in the jury room.
25The holdout is Michael Desronville. His lawyer, Edward Andrew Paltzik, called Reddington's motion disgusting. Kevin Reddington's disgusting motion to investigate Michael is worthy of nothing but universal condemnation. This is certainly not the final word from us on this subject, but merely our first words. The motion landed as Reddington and co-counsel Martin Weinberg also asked the court to dismiss the case against Clancy, the Massachusetts woman charged with killing her three young children. The trial ended in a mistrial earlier this month after seven days of deadlock. Jurors who have talked since then described an 11 to 1 split for not guilty by reason of insanity.
11They said the last juror would not move off conviction, even after what they called expressions of reasonable doubt. Desronville, in a statement through his lawyer last week, I didn't have any doubts. As I tried to explain different possible theories during deliberation, I kept getting cut off as if I had doubts based on the evidence presented. Paltzik says, hauling this man back in for a truth test is a full frontal attack on the US Constitution and a precedent for hunting holdout jurors. If we follow his destructive proposal to its logical conclusion, we're going to have an endless cycle of prosecutors investigating holdouts who oppose guilty and defense attorneys investigating holdouts who oppose not guilty.
01Legal analyst Terry Austin, who is not on the case, told ABC News the motion could poison future jury pools. Now we're talking about the privacy of these individual jurors and the effect that's going to have on jury pools out there. Nobody's going to want to sit on a jury if in fact you can take my phone and look at everything that I was texting. So I think it's a problem. One juror would not sign off on insanity after a mother killed three children. The defense's answer is to put that juror under a microscope. Conservatives should call that what it is. If the only holdout is the problem, the system is no longer asking 12 citizens for a verdict.
44It is asking 11 for a narrative and one man for a retraction. And that's your first look this Wednesday. Quick recap. Vance and Oz pull 760 ,000 ACA names they say were fraud or fiction, freeze sketchy brokers, and bank$2.2 billion dollars after GAO already proved the marketplace would enroll fake people. Whitcoff and Kushner meet Iranians for three hours while Trump tells the UN it's greatness or hell, rejects a global AI cage, and says there will be no UN carbon tax and no world government on his watch. And Michael Desronville's lawyer tells Clancy's defense that investigating a holdout juror is disgusting and unconstitutional.
33We'll keep following all of it. I'm Dave AI. Thanks for starting your day with First Look. See you tomorrow.
