56a federal building in New York found with anti-ice materials. New American Heart Association study finds up to five cups of coffee a day is safe and may even provide major health benefits. Let's dive in. President Trump is not playing games when it comes to protecting America's closest ally. On Truth Social, the president declared that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not be arrested in any way, shape, or form while in the United States of America. Trump made the statement without naming New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani, but the message was crystal clear. Mamdani, the 34-year-old socialist mayor, has repeatedly said he wants to arrest Netanyahu if the Israeli leader sets foot in New York for events like the United Nations General Assembly.

46During an appearance on the New York Times The Interview podcast last week, Mamdani told host Lulu Garcia Navarro that Netanyahu belongs in The Hague, calling him a war criminal who has been charged by the International Criminal Court. The ICC issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu in 2024 over the war in Gaza, but the United States does not recognize the ICC's jurisdiction. Mamdani has claimed he will comply with U.S. law, yet he continues to push the idea of detaining a sitting allied leader. Trump went further, pointing out the real threat. He is fighting against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which recently killed 52 ,000 innocent protesters, and has spent the last 47 years killing American soldiers and others.

37The only ones that should be arrested are the people that led Iran into this unprecedented spiral of death and destruction, something that should have been dealt with years ago. Netanyahu has been publicly critical of Mamdani over his fierce rebukes of Israel. The Israeli Prime Minister recently postponed a planned mid-July visit to the US, with his office citing complications from the delayed funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham. A meeting with Trump had not been locked in at the time. The UN General Assembly is set for September, which would mark the first time Netanyahu sets foot in New York while Mamdani occupies Gracie Mansion.

19President Trump has made it clear, there will be no show trials or political stunts against America's ally on US soil. A man has been named as the suspect in Monday's incendiary device attack outside a federal building in lower Manhattan. Law enforcement sources confirm the suspect is Andrew Arabaka and that he had anti-ice stuff on him at the time of the incident. According to the FBI, Arabaka deployed an incendiary device outside 26 Federal Plaza, home to a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office, shortly after 8 a.m. FBI Director Kash Patel posted that an individual was taken into custody and that two people suffered minor injuries.

05The FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating. FBI New York Assistant Director in Charge James Barnacle Jr. said Arrabaca had an unidentified liquid, put it down, and set fireworks on top of it, causing a small fire. He was also armed with a pellet gun. A federal employee and a civilian were injured. Both were treated and released. The Department of Homeland Security provided more details. At approximately 8.20 a.m., an anti-ICE rioter launched fireworks outside of 26 Federal Plaza, grazing a bystander and poured what is believed to be gasoline on the stairs of the entrance of the building and set it on fire.

48An FPS protective security officer swiftly tackled and detained the agitator, sustaining minor injuries during the incident. Officers quickly recovered the individual's bag, which contained what appeared to be two pellet guns and a manifesto. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani released a statement calling the incident deeply disturbing, saying he was relieved no one was seriously injured, and that his team is supporting the federal investigation. This is what happens when radical anti-enforcement rhetoric becomes mainstream. Targeting a federal immigration building with fireworks, gasoline, and a manifesto is not protest.

29It's an attack. Thankfully, officers acted quickly and the suspect is in custody. Coffee drinkers got some excellent news from the American Heart Association. A new review of the research finds that consuming up to five cups of coffee a day is not only safe for most adults, it may also deliver real health benefits. Gregory M. Marcus, a professor of medicine at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, said, Caffeine consumed in coffee is a key part of daily life for millions of people. And in our review of the most recent research, for most adults, intake of up to 400 milligrams of caffeine per day, the equivalent of up to five cups of caffeinated coffee per day without added sugars or fillers, is safe and does not increase cardiovascular risk.

19The key is sticking to black coffee. scientists found that drinking caffeinated coffee without added sugars flavors or cream was linked to a lower risk of type 2 diabetes heart disease stroke heart failure and some irregular heart rhythms randomized trials even showed coffee consumption could lower the risk of atrial fibrillation a condition that affects more than 10 million americans marcus warned that high doses of caffeine from energy drinks and energy shots may have harmful effects on the heart and should be avoided. Adding sugar, flavored syrups, milk, or cream likely reduces the potential benefits, and more research is needed on those additives.

03The researchers noted that caffeine is the world's most popular stimulant, and reviewed data going all the way back to 2737 BC. For millions of Americans who start their day with a cup of coffee, this is welcome confirmation that moderate consumption appears to be both safe and potentially protective for the heart. And that's your first look this Tuesday. Quick recap. President Trump declares Benjamin Netanyahu will not be arrested in the United States, rejecting Mayor Mamdani's threats. A suspect named Andrew Arabaca is in custody after setting off an incendiary device outside a federal building while carrying anti-ice materials.

43A major new study finds up to five cups of black coffee a day is safe and may lower risks of several serious health conditions. We'll keep following all of it. I'm Dave Rubin. Thanks for starting your day with First Look. See you tomorrow.

03Thank you.
