Double denim is “easy” and works like a jumpsuit; dark denim feels smarter for office; low-rise is mostly for younger models; straight-leg jeans look office-appropriate with knee-high boots and a blazer; re-wearing gym leggings/sports bras can be “minging.” Beauty/health claims: Shark Glow Pro (LED/serum pore-suction device) should be used once weekly; supplement programs (Gabriella Peacock’s “Raging Sachets”) improve skin/hair/energy; too much iron can cause heart palpitations.
Notable examples
Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model backlash (teeth removal/waist-shaming claims); martini vs espresso martini; frothy coffee not chic; wobble board/vibration workouts; LED face/hair “helmet” trends.

Also just yeah it's so easy you don't have to think. We're talking about what we find chic and not so chic. Martini chic. Espresso martini not chic. Yeah I agree. Oh burn I had them at my wedding that's so embarrassing. Shit I take it back I take it back. And how the hell was Tyra Banks not cancelled? It would just never happen now because they were so mean. I mean, it was abuse, wasn't it? They showed that there was this beautiful girl, beautiful teeth, and they took her teeth out.
38Make sure you tune in. It is a good one.
50Welcome to the ShareLex podcast in partnership with Two. I'm your host, Hodgie Templeman, and I'm joined by the gorgeous Laura Black and Maya Lucky. Welcome, ladies. On today's team pod, we'll be chatting about what we are loving, styling denim, our favourite pieces, and why denim is the foundation of our wardrobe, plus some celebrity goss and your dilemmas. Can't wait to get started. So, guys, the people have spoken, and the three of us are back. We're back. The trio, back together. Let's see what Maya's going to reveal today. You can't just be me. We all have to bear our soul on this. Deep dive.
26Give the people what they want. Okay, my gorgeous girls, what are you wearing? I am wearing these really cool dark denim palazzo jeans from 2 with the matching dark denim. And I love them. So good. They're cool, aren't they? And the collarless is very cool. Yeah, love that. And this with like a simple white tee and white denim. Yeah, so nice. It's so flattering as well. Isn't it? It's quite good for evening, I think. Yeah, and dark denim, good for evening too. I feel quite Joe Good in them. What about you, lovely? I'm wearing the dark denim barrel leg. They're sort of a high-rise, mid-length. And then this really nice, I guess like a cardigan, but zip-up, cardi, khaki, and some croc boots.
09Love. Yeah, love. I never would have picked that cardi, but it's so cool. I love it. I like this sort of shape. Yeah. Yeah. And it's nice because then you can get the sort of poke of white out the top without having toys. and really nice colors you could probably go all the way up probably could love and these will be so nice with mules and a sock yeah yeah leading on to my outfit come on tell us what are you wearing i feel this is my personality this winter is a roll neck and mules and a sock that's great um i've got the relaxed flare white denim um which is so long do you know what i love about those is the hem at the bottom yeah it makes it a bit elevated yeah yeah that sort of larger than usual hem love um and then the dark wash denim shirt gorge so nice and then a vintage blazer on top and your sexy heels they're so they're a bit battered already but that's what happens when you wear them to work i mean how you wear those to work all day still will forever she's so comfy but are they really i'm waiting for the hill to snap though on the cobbledy bit it's fine
23okay let's get into it so things we're loving who wants to go first so when i was on uh the two website the other day i was on sainsbury's and i was looking at the denim here and i love a bit of home and got distracted and wow there are some good bits on there so they have this habitat tray and it's kind of flat at the bottom but kind of wavy and it's not scalloped it's kind of just wavy it's so beautiful yeah and it comes up and it's in this rattan and I thought on an island so chic or in your bathroom yeah but I love a tray I'm such a sucker for a home accessory what would you put in the tray on the island I was kind of envisaging lemons oh so it's more of a fruit bottle yeah it comes up at the side yeah it comes up at the side it's really chic and then they had these gorgeous um kind of tonal bud vases i thought they'd look lovely on your shelving unit actually yeah like a little extra but in kind of various neutral shades and i thought along like down the table yeah loads of them with your stems in so chic yeah really nice yeah i love it's habitat habitat yeah on the sainsbury's website so good yeah okay i actually have just started because i'm a pilates girl and last year it was like the year of reformer for me yeah i love reformer have you done tower no what's that it's hard is it is it harder yeah well the one i've done use is nobu two different like devices machines i guess but it's way more old school so the tower one has a reformer bed at the bottom but then along the back of it is these two like poles and all sorts of things coming off of it from like bars to straps to all sorts and the overhead you can do it i want to do the overhead where you hang yeah it looks amazing yeah but it makes you it makes you hold your form so much more than oh is that typical reformer pilates does because you don't use any momentum at all okay that's the difference and then they've also got this sort of like but does the bed move yeah it can still yeah but a lot of it is about holding still rather than moving like in reformer you know reformer classes a lot of sort of like jumping and momentum yeah yeah yeah it's not like that it's much slower and like holding quite hard positions that sounds hard there's less to sort of rely on yeah do you feel stronger you definitely yeah i mean i've only done two but it's it's really hard really yeah I've been doing Pilates for about two years.
54And I mean. Do you love it? I look incredible. Oh, stop it. No, but I thought. You want the transformation. You're not happy with the progress. No, but I love it. Sorry. You gave a little show of your abs the other day. It's working. I don't have to spray. She's saved me some abs on. God, is that what she's going to do? Shout out. Spray on abs. I know. Screw the Pilates. yeah no but I love it and I and I love the when I go to I go to Reformer Collective in Balham and I love it but it's progress yeah do you know what I mean it's not instant no it's not no it's slow and I think my age like in your 40s you need to balance that with strength yeah but I also want to try hot mat pilates has anyone done that?
41no because I hated hot yoga yeah that does not appeal to me it gave me a spot but it's what like all the girls in New York are doing and they look really good you're just sweating in a hot room with lots of people and the other thing i'm loving is i don't know if anyone's used it shark came out last year with a new tool it's called the shark glow pro okay and i've been using it once a week i use it on myself and on callum sorry what is it give them a little facial so it's a little device that you fill up with a serum and then drag over your face and it sucks all of the sort of dirt things out of your pores whilst infusing your skin a little bit with a serum does that come out in a You see it in a pot.
20Oh, my God. Like the gum comes back. I've never told us about this. Yes. Sorry. Wow. I'm telling you now. I think I've seen this. It's really good. I think I've seen someone else use this. You have to be careful not to over exfoliate because it is quite dangerous. You end up stretching your pores and things like that. So I only do it once a week, but it really does make a really good difference. Do you feel brighter? Definitely. And then put your serums on top because your skin's like ready to go for it then. Oh, my God. It's kind of the nose and the chin. You're going to have to film it for YouTube.
49I'll show you the gunk. Yes. Wow. Oh my goodness, it's so satisfying. Whose was dirtier, yours or Callum? I think we were quite even actually. Okay. Yeah. It's like a little Sunday night facial activity on each other. Well, actually I just do myself and him so it's not on each other. But he's just like... Oh my gosh, fascinating. I want to be Callum when I come back. He's like a house cat. He's living his best life. Well, mine's quite skinny as well. So not skinny, I mean skin. Related. we had nutritionist gabriella peacock come on the other day for a gold interview with joe and she is amazing she's not unreal um anyway so she inspired me and i went online and i got her raging sachets it's a three-month program so it's a daily ritual for luminous skin glossy hair and all-day vitality because it helps skin hair and energy levels right i'd like the link and you see so after month one you feel more hydrated and comfortable okay you notice visible firmer more moisturized skin month two firmness and elasticity improve hair and nails look stronger and then month three skin appears smoother brighter more even toned and you look like cindy croffett scientifically proven put it in my smoothie okay does it have a flavor it's sort of berry okay um So you could just do it on its own if you wanted to?
14No, because it's a powder. You just mix it with water. I mean, there's so much stuff in that smoothie. I was going to say, it's any fruit left. There's no space. Does anyone, like, get their bloods done when they take all these sort of vitamins and supplements and stuff? Because I've OD'd on supplements before. Have you? What, that was making you ill? Yeah, I started having heart palpitations. And I wear an Oura ring, so it takes my heart rate all the time. My heart rate was, like, 100 all the time. What was the supplement? I was taking too much iron. Because I thought I was anemic. So I was taking iron.
47And multivitamins of all sorts. Yeah, that's not good to have too much iron in your body. No. And then someone suggested me to get my blood done because my heart palpitations were so bad. And actually my iron was through the roof. Oh my gosh. That's because I... Yeah, it's probably sensible. With my hair loss, they prescribed iron for me. And then I suddenly felt so good. I felt amazing. So I kept saying, can I have more? Please can I have more? And they were like, no. no more you can't have too much ironing it's really bad for you it can like have long-term devastating effects to like your heart and things like that i thought oh my god i'm at a time in my life where my anxiety is at an all-time high and i'm so stressed but it wasn't it was all my blood yeah anyway god knows how do we all function i don't know just surviving i don't know um my next one is talking about beauty it's called reality check inside america's next top model oh my god okay yeah if people didn't watch americans next to a bottle it was like this 24 series franchise which was in america when we were growing up and it with tara banks was sort of the brainchild behind it and they had and then it went all over the world i remember abby cansey was on the uk one but it was about these young hopefuls to try and be america's but they like really made that whole world accessible for all of us yeah oh my god yeah i loved it oh my god i I can't believe there were 24 series.
11Yeah, that's nuts. And when you say she was the brainchild, because she obviously was like the main presenter. I think she pitched it. Oh, wow. Yeah, created by Tara Banks and developed by Ken Mock and Kenya Barris. It ran for 24 seasons from 2003 to 2016. Wow. That's a long time. It would just never happen now because they were so mean to the girls. I mean, it was abuse, wasn't it? How? Like unreal. And in the trailer, they talk about the waist of this girl saying that she was too she wasn't like she was still too big and he could fit his hands around her waist and they were so thin weren't they and like they showed that there was this beautiful girl beautiful teeth and they took her teeth out it was all to be extreme obviously for the ratings and the show but the fact that they didn't do it but those were real humans and those girls wanted a career so they were willing to be told by Tara Banks one of the most amazing models in the world this is what you did they were so mean how she wasn't cancelled but isn't she involved in this she's involved in it I reckon they were going to do it anyway and they were probably like you can either be with us and better for her to be in it but weirdly even in that trailer she sort of says guys you made me do it you wanted it that's what like to the viewers she's just going to admit that it was a moment in time and that was just normal on TV and you know it doesn't feel that long ago to me but like wow yeah you look back at the yeah the clips of it it's wild it made me want to be a model you know no yeah what actually i mean i say that i loved it too i wanted to be in that world but isn't that weird yeah that you watch it and want to do that but because it looked it's still even though they were being like semi-tortured it still looked very glamorous and it was like yeah in an apartment in your yeah with tyra bang yeah who doesn't want that even like slap me across the face I love it extraordinary and is it all going to come out at once what do we have to wait it's three it's only three parts which I quite like sometimes you're like yeah I could have done six as we're all dressed head tone to denim should we do a bit of denim deep diving okay how much do you think jeans play a role in your wardrobe are they a staple yes every day i probably do wear jeans the most on my bottom half than anything else yeah definitely do you yeah how many times a week probably three or four oh i'd say more oh really yeah i'm like five six yeah if you're counting evenings and day yeah no i wear it a lot yeah i do feel i think you my denim wardrobe is fast yeah all shapes and sizes yeah and yeah I'm always looking for the perfect pair you can almost never have enough yeah never have enough it's actually like a bit of an addiction it's bad like I'll go out to the shops and be like right I want to get take this part of my wardrobe and I'll always come back with more denim what is like what are you looking for it's always different yeah I like a high waist yeah that for me is good it's kind of lengthening on the leg for me i'm not particularly tall so i yeah that's what i and and that fit around the bum yeah and then i like long actually again makes me look a little bit taller hopefully yeah yeah um but wash i'm kind of i need it i need all of them yeah so many yeah so many yeah but i really love this dark shade at the moment i feel like i've really worn dark this winter because it kind of feels smart enough for the office yeah but you can dress down too like with a sweatshirt i definitely wear for the weekend too yeah yeah it definitely does feel smarter yeah i don't wear that much light to the office actually no neither and actually i used to but if i put it on now yeah i feel like white's different yeah white is different but a lighter shape like that yeah i feel yeah i'm definitely darker for work yeah i know i think it's so hard to get dressed especially where we work you know there's a lot you have to think about what you're wearing more than probably other work environments and i think jeans is just such an easy staple to throw you can build an outfit around a pair of jeans definitely like easily you've got your jeans is that how you get dressed yeah i like start at the bottom yeah i don't know sometimes it's a whole mess but yeah i think i probably would start with the bottom first yeah yeah yeah actually I think I do that's what like sits around you isn't it so I know if like I feel comfortable in that yeah then I can kind of build the wardrobe around yeah yeah and I think it's about comfort like back in the day wearing these super skinny jeans yeah and I'd actually have like tummy well it would dig in it would leave the mark yeah where the bottom was and I'd almost felt I'd moved organs around yeah and I'd like be lying on the bed with a hot water bottle going oh my god totally also no one really had a bum in them either so they weren't very flattering from that awful they were very flattening right yeah yeah and long i do i know but now denim can be so flattering for any shape or size yeah depending on what suits you the best i love a straight leg to be honest yeah but like quite a narrow straight leg and then what like crotch yeah a little bit yeah just above the ankle if i'm going to do a sock and loafer otherwise i go long like laura because I do actually really like it when the back of my jeans just touches the floor.
43Yeah, me too. I get so many comments on Instagram like, well, how do you deal with your jeans touching the floor? I'm like, I just let it happen. No, I wash them. But there's nothing worse than that sort of like mid-swing, is there? Oh my God. With the wrong shoe. No, nothing worse when it's just not long enough. Yeah. It doesn't look cool. But that's again why you need different styles because you want to be able to switch up your shoes. I also love for like a weekend, more casual vibe, going quite oversized on a baggy jean and then cinching in with a belt and like a baggy tee or something. I've never really been a baggy jean girl and actually I've really got into that sort of silhouette now.
25But it's also quite nice for us because you differentiate between work denim and weekend denim. Like I love that kind of with a trainer, different slightly paler wash at the weekend. yeah there's something quite chic though about like a baggy jean with a little point yeah yeah with a tiny heel and then an evening top yeah or like a bodysuit or something yeah a nice leather jacket yeah it makes it look understated and then a blazer maybe or you know i quite like that it's quite effortlessly cool isn't it yeah exactly because what else do you wear on the candidate you don't wear jeans no tracksuit bottoms leggings I know yeah I always I always wear jeans yeah but like you say sometimes if it work I am wearing a tailored trouser instead in the week then putting them on at the weekend I'm like oh it's office mode like yeah so you want to have something different yeah completely and I often wear denim to dinner parties or like for dinner yeah yeah always and also i do love a full denim look yeah me too double denim is a go-to it's so easy also just yeah it's so easy you don't have to think it's like a jumpsuit yeah if you're feeling like i don't know what to wear today just double denim makes it so easy top to toe looks really good with the roll neck like hot just done i love it when a roll neck pops out the top of the shirt like that i love the oversized pockets on this it's so cool and you know sometimes they're super stiff yeah they're quite hard to layer this is so soft yeah so nice yeah and i love a popper
57all the better for getting undressed somebody lock her away so what are your favorite shapes I actually never wear a flare to be to be fair
14but i feel like you two actually could rock that really well i think it's quite sexy yeah we were talking about it before we came down i think you can you don't think you would i don't know i think you could like obviously not tight and then flare but like you know looser yeah but you were talking about a tight yeah like the bootleg yeah i did you remember bootleg yeah I thought that was like my calling card yeah I feel it's quite sexy like as far as denim goes yeah because it sort of hugs you in and then so your silhouette yeah I think if I was doing it it's got to go and it's tight at the top but then it's got to go out quite quickly same same yeah we can't be doing it out from the knee yeah but Kendrick Lamar has brought them back I know he just did the halftime Superbowl Superbowl and he was wearing bled watch the space and a man yeah come on lead the way hodge men can shop the women's department they can honey i know that's what we should be doing on sr man yeah yeah we do it the other way around and i am also i've really enjoyed barrel yeah i go to barrel quite frequently yeah me too but i feel like i went big barrel last year you did big big like the ones that really yeah but i feel like i'm kind of moving on from A more subtle, like this.
30This is quite a subtle barrel. Exactly. But a subtle barrel with trainers at the weekend. No, I love a barrel. I think a barrel is so nice with mules as well. Yeah. And these are actually very soft, so they're super comfortable. Have they got stretch? They're actually not tons, no, but they're really soft. So like here, it doesn't feel like uncomfortable. Yeah, that's similar to these because I don't love stretch. But these don't feel stretchy, but feel really soft. Yeah, which is nice. They are really flattering on you, I must say. your legs don't lush thanks okay so talking about famous people who wear jeans who do you think rocks of her jeans celebrity i don't know but influencer anuke she wears denim so well and she's really true to the styles that suit her she doesn't get too sucked in by the trends and i love that i always admire her denim i think lisa marinelli does denim i was gonna say that For like grown up.
29And for like work, inspo. How to make it cool. Like quite sharp edges. She likes eye waist. Yeah. She's quite tiny. Yeah, she's small. Yeah, I look to her a lot because I reckon she's not much taller than me. Yeah. But yeah, she does. I think also sometimes it's so overwhelming. Because there's so much variety at Two Denim, you can really try all of these different shapes and work out A, what suits you, and B, also have so many. Well, if you want options. Yeah. new workwear options weekend options yeah like they really have it all yeah they do and it's not going to break the bank it's so affordable yeah yeah and just use that as the foundation to building out looks because then it just makes it all easier
14moving on from one multitasking fabric to another mega multitasker did you guys see that great thank you thank you not scripted yeah such a pro did you see that thing that trini put on yesterday i love that woman i mean i've never felt more seen she basically put this wheeler of her she's got a hair helmet on and by the way i need that help hair grow for your head I need to use it though I'll borrow it share the love an LED face mask an LED neck mask she is on a wobble board or like a vibrating thing should I get one I feel I should get one no I think you need to get what I've just got but we'll carry on as you were and weights yeah she's doing it all so she's on this and her assistant comes in And it's like, oh my God.
18What's that? Like, Jesus. But I'm like, how does that make you feel? Does it make you feel like, fuck am I doing enough? Or does it make you inspired? I'm kind of inspired by like, she's just getting her shit done in the time that she's got. Squeezing it all in. She's a busy lady. Look, each to their own. It doesn't scare me. I'm like, right, okay, get me that hat mask, hair mask, whatever you call it. Helmet. Helmet. I need that. and like how can I squish it all into one time frame that's fair because you're super busy but it is quite I mean these things are all very expensive yeah didn't you see over Christmas everyone buying those vibration plates yeah I did and the walking treadmill yeah well I want both and you do it makes you want it yeah that's true but you have to take everything with a pinch of salt right like that's her job yeah she says the vibration plate makes her want to go to the loo yeah but that's why you need this wobble board because she posted something she often does her workouts live not that i've done them but she i was on instagram i think on sunday
28anyway the lady that she does it with her yoga she was on this amazon wobble board and she was like wobbling away balance yeah like the kids used to have yeah like the surf like a hopper thing yeah kind of like but have you seen the boards with the roller on yeah so it's like that but apparently it's really good for your pelvic muscles yeah and i thought wait
57wow thanks so much she's always wearing herself in the outfit How are yours after three children? Great. You're okay over there, aren't you? Well, some of us need to work a bit harder. So I've ordered my Amazon wobble board. It hasn't arrived yet. But I thought, now I've seen her doing her weights and everything else, and I'm going to get my weights going on my wobble board. Okay, get one of the kids to film you. Yes! It's going to go viral. We see you, Trini. We raise you. Literally. But my wobble board was£14 on Amazon. So it just shows you don't have to invest. But you're saying to do it as part of your morning routine.
34So I've got this image of you doing your makeup in the mirror. Exercise routine. Oh, right. Okay. I know. It's just a lot to think. I'm making a coffee. Yeah, I don't think I could do that. I feel quite overwhelmed by it. I feel overwhelmed by it. Because I already feel like I don't have enough time for my morning routine. I don't have children, so I don't know how you two do it. So then I'm like, how can I squeeze more in? But I think that's why, because you cram it in. all into a small spin. It's like, yeah, just doing it all at once. Would you get up 15 minutes earlier so that you could do your wobble board?
04No, because it's the same length of time. You're just adding in the wobble board. So you're always doing your weights in the morning. And then you're going to do it on the wobble board. Oh, okay. I mean, I don't know if my coordination's up to it, but I'm going to give it a go. So are you doing your workouts at home? Yeah. If I've come to work and I've put a wash on, I've had my smoothie, I've exercised, and I've, like, tidied the house, I'm, like, winning. yeah that's pretty good yeah okay i don't so i i do quite a lot at home when am i gonna fit that in well i wobbles yeah don't know my my morning routine is quite pushed but we're gonna work on that but i do my led masks in the evening i do when i watch on tv yeah so maybe i do that where i do the vibration it's called habit stacking yeah stacking yeah buzzword i know i'm quite bad at sticking to stuff i have to say i'm not very good at keeping to habits no I'm a bit lazy I end up sitting on the sofa or something not in the morning obviously in the when does a habit become part of your routine when you feel when you feel the benefits yeah okay okay well well done Trini brilliant okay now let's play a quick game I'm pumped for this Laura came out with this idea well done Laura Lee well actually just came from Charlotte and I talking about it but it's a good game not chat GCP as I said earlier the budget match I know that's quite aging you can't call it that my very man for sprain okay so there's an instagram triangle chic or not chic okay diet coke coke so i'm gonna go work front and back front and back it's like laura diet coke coke zero but you need to come up with them yourself so diet coke chic coke zero not chic but you need to you need to give options for us to discuss So you just say one?
49Yeah, okay, yeah. Or just think of something that's chic and not chic. Okay. So I would say martini chic, espresso martini not chic. Yeah, agreed. I had them at my wedding, that's so embarrassing. Shit! I take it back, I take it back! Charlotte once said out loud just before my wedding, espresso martinis are so tacky. And I was like, fuck, I've ordered 120 for my dessert. no but babe I think in a wedding you need them because you need to get going exactly and you don't want everyone going to bed yeah we did a tequila shot as they named so people sat down and there was a tequila shot with a lime and their name in it and everyone did that like just as we sat down for dinner yeah and then you've got to get the pasta started and then as soon as pudding came out it was espresso martinis on the table I think that's great music heart that's not the that's not the debate here it's like sheiks sitting in a bar yeah drinking a martini sheik sitting in a bar drinking an espresso martini good save I'd still do that not chic I'm moving on okay coffee in the morning chic tea in the morning and chic coffee chic tea in the morning is not chic that'd be nice like black coffee chic latte not chic okay I call it a frothy coffee every morning I do like it I've not grown up in a flat coffee Anyone comes around my house I've got a really nice sage coffee machine What do you want?
21A frothy coffee? Because that's all I do It sounds delicious No different initiation between Just not chic Over here A Parisian lady is not ordering a frothy coffee Damn Black coffee okay I know But Babe I'm with you Don't worry Okay being chronically late Sheesh Sheek Sheek being on early not chic not chic guys this is awful i am always late so i'm always on time in the professional sense but you are actually you're very punctual i'm i'm always on time it's not chic i feel you're the type of person who would be like it's not your time to waste yeah like you'd be offended like do you not think i've got because that's the vibe she gives in the office yeah But this is what we know.
11Myra is split. You're the one saying, we've got a meeting, Hodge. What are you doing? So I'm surprised at that. Yeah, that's true. I'm a bit more relaxed at the weekends. In a relaxed denim. In my barrel like genius. These segues are going at me. Keeping some mystery. Chic. Chic. Public displays of affection. Not chic. Hodge, not chic. I don't do it in public. It's not sheep. You don't do it in public. No, I don't. Oh, yeah, no. But our public space reflection are very different, no, Hodge. We already know this. Yours is like actual snogging. Mine is just telling him I love him. Like in the privacy of our own home.
51Yeah. Like it's not out. No, out and about. Not sheep. Yeah. Your poor children. Whenever you see someone kissing quite intently outdoors, aren't you always like... It's quite alarming. They're like, wow. It's almost like they're having sex. Yeah. Yeah, you don't see that very often. There were a couple really going at it. Just in the corner. Do you know we're here? Go home. Okay. Shoes inside the house. Chic. I would say chic. I'd say chic too. Yeah. I don't really like being told to it. It's not great when you go around someone's house at dinner and they tell you to take shoes off. No, or worse when they give you the plastic things to bring you.
27What? Who's doing that? No, you haven't. When they give you the blue thing. Like when you go to a swimming pool. That is not chic. But I think I would prefer that from taking them off if it was like an evening. Like if you haven't got, oh, your socks aren't right. Or like it's your whole outfit. Imagine being in these mega long jeans and then you're like, you look like a dumpy. Or a skirt. A skirt with like nose shoes on looks so gross, doesn't it? And the hostess is like, you know, got a toe ring on and really showing off. She's got a fresh penny. She's like, I'm sorry, I didn't say. You're like, all right.
02We don't wear shoes in this house. Awful. I see you bitch. Okay. What's your hot topic? You're in the spotlight. Okay. We're going to admit something to each other. Okay. That we do at home or whatever. It's a habit. It's kind of a bit gross or you shouldn't really want to admit. I'll go first. Okay. Okay. When I take my contact lenses out. Yeah. I just like take them out of my eyes and it doesn't matter where I am sitting on the sofa. Oh, you leave them around. You flick them. I just drop them on the floor. Yeah. That is rank. But also. I don't think that's right. That is just adding to your admin.
34you've then got a what how are you picking them up can they just sort of disintegrate next time I'm doing my contact lens can they disappear I can't comment I can't comment the contact lens well you just don't see them once they're out well you can't see them if you're blind like me so it's fine yeah but I do do that a lot do you and it winds kind of up sometimes they're stuck to the side of the sink or the toilet yeah yeah well sometimes like the side of the bed yeah if I'm in bed and I've gone to sleep that I get that I get but like in the kitchen my don't know if I'd drop it on the kitchen floor but I would on the sofa if I was like oh I need to put my glasses on it would just be a bit like and then it would just disappear like they just do vanish don't they it's like a weird thing about contact lenses they just disappear it's because you can't see they're gone everyone else can that's frank when I was younger and I used to wear false lashes like religiously like three times a week i would oh yeah mine would oh you pull them off but mine would shred everywhere oh i would just pull them off and put them wherever you'll pull little eyelashes i know all right guys you've both got to do okay mine is i'm a bit minging with gym gear okay well i would say that too like i we wear the same pilate socks yeah i do yeah and sometimes and i rewear leggings oh yeah i do too if i haven't really if i haven't like if it's weights and not like super sweaty i would too i could definitely wear leggings at least three times three times i think i'd go twice yeah i go three i don't love re-wearing a sports bra it depends if i've if i'm really sweated i don't but if i've just if it's a light sweating yeah
18perspiration but that's quite minging isn't it and do you just leave it in your gym bag zipped up no i sort of leave it in like over like the chair in my room oh yeah i would do that yeah so then yeah so it's dry yeah which is rank isn't it i know see if it's wearable no just stick it on yeah i'm in my own house as well so who cares yeah you could do a week's worth you don't even I have to wear Jim Kim.
48Oh my God. Oh, that is a horrible vision. Have you got anything else? No. Torture. Can you help me? Give me one. Like a habit that you do at home. Ed's like, oh my God, why'd you do that? James gets across with me when I, because I have a cup of coffee when I'm putting my makeup on. Oh, you leave the cup. And I leave the cup. Nope, I get across to other people. yeah james it's like it's james finds that really rank all right reverse role okay it's something that's actually so wacky crazy okay no i tell you one thing i did think that is slightly reverse yeah but leans into how freakishly like i get grossed out by stuff is i will not go to somebody's house for dinner or lunch if i think their kitchen freaks me out yeah wow sorry the people she's declined are like there's a sign yeah i know i don't know that should go out but that is it's true yeah i mean how like what level of like that like loads of animals not even like animals like dirty floors when there's lots of crumbs i don't like a dirty floor no no or like uh you've been there and they've wiped their children's snot with the kitchen cloud or something and then i'm like and then it goes on the table i don't want to eat i'll come for a drink must-restraise for supper and you'll and you'll rinse the glass out under the sink before you use it i've got a straw actually would you um no you'd still go i'd still go but i probably wouldn't eat the chicken yeah do you know what i mean yeah hey oh girls well let's think of some more yeah okay like that's your homework babe write it in your notes out you know i'm not gonna like overthink everything i do at home like god i'm really rank
49okay should we do some dilemmas yeah no i feel this is targeted at me are double denim outfits chic or a total risk chic you're so chic yeah chic easy don't have to overthink it go for it i love it yeah and i also like it in not just blue yeah like i quite like a a beige or white double denim yeah very nice i also think back in the day we always were a bit obsessed with matching the exact denim the shade i don't think it really matters as much I think I'd probably still lean to match it but I think that's maybe just like historical ingrained in me yeah I think sometimes if your shirt's a bit lighter and your jeans are a bit darker yeah it still looks cool yeah especially with the roll neck especially with like a gray stock poking out like yeah didn't try too hard yeah yeah um okay I'm petite and I'm struggling to find jeans that don't overwhelm me what style should I be looking for like how how does she deal with that i think go high rise again i like a longer length because i think it elongates the leg um and i also think just don't over that if you need to get them tailored get them tailored so they fit denim is affordable now and if you need to spend a bit more money getting them fitted to you then do that i do that loads yeah i do that i i go to tailor loads yeah but i don't i don't always spend loads on denim.
13I think there are so many brilliant affordable options out there. So I would do that. Okay, good advice. This is for you, Maya. How do you style straight leg jeans to the office without looking too casual? I actually always like putting a knee-high boot, but under, rather than an ankle boot. I think sometimes you sit down and have a skin shirt. Yeah, that's not a good look. Very good. So a knee-high boot under the jeans. And then I actually think double denim works really, really well with a blazer on top, like how you've done now. Or a smarter something on top with your darker wash. So like the draping sort of tops with the scarves.
49Yeah, that with a darker denim and a knee-high boot under the jeans. I think it's not wearing trainers. Not wearing trainers. I was going to say you often rock a loafer and a sock. So good. Okay, then last one. Is low-rise actually wearable in real life or is it strictly for 20-year-olds and models? Strictly for 20-year-olds and models. That ship is longer. Yeah. I think low rises are quite terrifying. Yeah. I don't want that back. No. But happy for the people who can wear them. Great for them. Because it is hot. Wear it whilst you can. Oh, definitely. Go now. Time is coming for you, my friend.
27Okay. Last thing. If you had to pick a piece from Tude's collection, which one would it be? I'm going to go the Palazzo jean. I love them. Yeah. I feel good in them. And I think that's really important. and I think the colour wash will be really nice in the summer as well going into spring with like whites. Yeah, gorgeous. I'm inspired by you. I think this denim shirt you're wearing. Yeah, it's really good. Yeah, I like the stitch on it. I like the big pockets. Yes. Really nice. It's really comfy. And also a denim shirt like that you don't have to just wear with denim bottoms. You can wear like a tailored trouser with a shirt like that.
03Yeah, so nice. It's really cool. Because it's not, I think this is a tan and it's quite like form-fitting. Yeah. I think that's also, with denim shirts, isn't it? If they're tighter, they look smarter. Yeah, not too baggy. I mean, I love these, but there's also a pink pair of these. That's cool. And I quite like pink with burgundy. Yeah, lush. And like pink with a blue eyes blue. Like a pale wash. Like a pale, yeah. Oh, lush. So I think I'm going to get my hands on these. And if something's caught your eye already, then you can shop the full two denim collection online at twoclothing.sainsbury's.co.uk.
34Go and browse and treat yourself to a new pair. Maybe a couple of pairs. Girls, I love that. Yay. Always such fun with you two. Always so fun. I know, we do laugh a lot. What a hoot. Thanks so much for watching. Please leave a comment, like or subscribe and we'll see you next time.
