In short
LuxGen Group Chat episode about spring/summer celebrity culture, especially music videos and new releases; influencer/PR controversies; and viral beauty/product picks.
Guests
India (host) plus Poppy and Anna (co-hosts). They discuss personal fashion and TikTok “horror stories,” then move into the hot list and beauty recommendations.
Key claims
Girl bands and boy bands are returning due to nostalgia and post-COVID desire for group performances; modern music videos should feel more like “shows”/movie-style. Harry Styles’ new video is praised as a “full package” (dance + singing) and sparks debate about “toxic girl”/“he’s taken so I want him more” dynamics. James Charles is criticized for a rude DM response about a laid-off Spirit Airlines employee’s GoFundMe; Alex Earl is described as PR-trained and deflecting beef details on the Today Show.
Notable examples
Gracie Abrams album July 17; her “Hit the Wall” TikTok edits; Flo/Say Now/Soulified; Harry Styles; Taylor Swift “Love Story” and “Bad Blood”; Lady Gaga/Beyoncé “Telephone”; Fred again collab with Dropbox to reduce phone filming; beauty picks: Pixi after-sun sheet masks, Garnier Ollier Tinted Hair Mask (purple, “Old Money Blonde”), KIKO glosses, Modern Chemistry cleansing balm.

On today's episode of the LuxGen Group Chat, we talk about the hottest music coming out this summer.
0:35Gracie Abrams' new album is coming out July 17th. The latest PR disasters in the influencer industry. James Charles has been cancelled again. I think he is someone with just like nine lives. Like you just can't cancel him. And all the new beauty we're loving just in time for summer. Pixie, great brand by the way, super affordable. They've just come out with sheet masks specifically for like after sun care. Make sure you're subscribed and let's get into the podcast. Hello and welcome back to the Luxorgen Group Chat. I'm India and today I am joined by Poppy and Anna. First podcast together, Poppy.
1:08I know, guys, this is the squad. We've got a lot to talk about today, but let's jump into outfits. What are you guys wearing, Poppy? So I am wearing this knit jumper from Ruby Asbin. I really like it. It's a small business, but it's just something so different. Like I've not seen anything like it and I quite like how it's, for those who can't see, it's basically block colouring of navy blue and white with just a red little 28 on the top. It's giving Princess Diana. Do you know what I mean? Yes. I love that. Yes. And I like the kind of like corset vibe. Yeah, and it switches in at the waist. If I mean, I say so myself, Diana.
1:38Where's your waist? Where is she? And then just some straight leg, a bit of a tighter fit jean for me today from Zara, and then just some black ballet flats from Atos. I have on some, shoes are from H &M, although I got told at the weekend when I wore these with my friends, and they said, why does it look like you have molecules on your feet? and now I can't unsee it. So that's great. I know it's the Molecule shoes. I love it. What's better, Disco Ball or Molecule? Yeah, I don't know. I kind of think Molecule. Yeah, kind of a bit quicker. Then these little jorts are from, next, my top is M &S, my blazer is a range, and my ring is from a vintage store in Paris.
2:16What about you, India? It's a lot of vintage today. This is actually from Urban Outfitters, like the vintage section. I love it. That reminds me of my childhood. great like literally just go into that corner the one on Oxford Street there's like a corner at the top floor I know exactly where you're talking about and they just got like an array of blazers I got this like last year it's great I'm wearing my mum's shirt underneath it's actually my dad's friend's brand called T Michael oh I'd love that but she wore this one she was my age no way I know and then jeans are Tommy Hilfiger we're obsessed rinse them repeated I know I feel like have you guys worn apart from me today but have you guys worn other jeans that are not the Tommy Hilfiger this is the first time I've worn a different pair of jeans since I got them yeah and whenever I've worn another pair of jeans they're literally exactly oh my god unreal I know and then my ballet flats are from a market store love these what's it called Arbea yeah I love those love them before we get into the hot list I want to ask what side of TikTok you guys are on oh because have you seen that trend where people are talking about their horror stories oh my god yes things that they've gone through so my horror story is I don't know I was talking about this yesterday you know when you go to spin and you're given those like spin cycle trainers or shoes and you have to like clip them in but then at the end of the class you can't unclip yourself and everyone else has like left the room and you're there like how the hell am I going to unclip myself I've had on two occasions had to raise my hand and ask for help and it's embarrassing because like everyone is there but anyways also my second one is ordering an Uber and it being a Tesla really?
3:47so that's a horror movie yes to be fair the car sickness you get from Tesla the car sickness it's so bad it's so bad and I'm already quite travel sick like when I was in school you are a travel sick gal when I was a child I used to have to take those travel sick bags on the coaches so I can never sit on the back of the cool kids did you have to wear those goggles oh I know there was the straws that balance you out no but I why can I see India kind of rocking because I'm a metamorphobic I've got all the travel sickness hacks no way so I'm surprised I don't have the goggles have you not seen these they're like straws and they have a liquid in and it balances you out no way yeah you should maybe every time you get a Tesla Maybe Tesla Uber should start providing them.
4:25You know what, yeah, I think my mom probably didn't give me those because she knew that I'd be like loved at. So I had the John Lewis travel stick bands with a pressure point. Yeah, same. What are you guys' horror stories? My one would be, the one that comes to my mind straight away because it happened this morning, when I'm drying my hair and it's hot outside, especially in the summer, don't talk to me. Because then I get so overstimulated. And it like, I don't know, it just fuels a rage in my body that I don't feel from anything else. So that would have to be one of my horror movies. I hate being in that situation.
4:55God forbid I'm having to like blow dry my hair like when I'm on holiday, like in a hot, hot country. I'm sunburned. You just get so overstimulated. I feel like that's the thing with me. I get very easily overstimulated. So that would be a situation where it would make me feel overstimulated. My other one, or this happens a lot in the office, when people try to impersonate my accent. Yep, they're silent. I do everything. Can I just say? But then they never get it right So it's like at least if you're going to do it Get it right We just like the way you say stuff I just love the boots Yeah it's boots Boots Boots Boots No but I love the way you say it A horror story I have But I don't really know why it's a horror story It's just going to get my nails done It fills me with absolute I so get what you mean Anxiety and dread I make my mum come with me every single time No but it's the machines that they use No but also I think it's the like It's more the social aspect of it What if I don't like it And it's I'm in too deep I'm not going to say anything Really?
5:49then I often go in not actually really knowing what I want and then I'm panicking because they've started and I'm trying to scroll on Pinterest. You've got no service. Yeah, no service ever. Then also, a bit claustrophobic. Like once both hands are in and busy, what if I need a wee? What if I feel sick? Or you've got to itch your nose or something. Do you know what I mean? What if I get a phone call and it's really important and I'm like this? Like just getting my nails done fills me with so much anxiety. Yeah, I know. And I feel like I actually hate the machines, I don't know what else to call them, that they use on your nails.
6:18sometimes it burns my hands. So painful. And also, it's the walking in and everyone's silent at their little desk. And everyone looks. They look, and then they go, what do you want? What do you want? And you've got to be like, falsetto of acrylics, please. And like, why is it so? It's like everyone can tell that this is your first night at the nail salon. Yes. And I don't know, even though I've been a million times, it's like, but I've only been five times and they can tell. Yeah, they can tell. Or another one, sorry, I'm just really getting into it because it fills me with anxiety. You're at the desk and they start asking you questions about your life and you're like, I wouldn't mind chatting to you.
6:46I don't want to be rude, but I don't want the whole salon doing my business. So I'll be like, oh, do you have a boyfriend? And you're like, no. And then it's like, what do you do? I work here. And it's like, everyone now knows what's going on. Yeah, no, I get you, Pop.
7:02Okay, guys, shall we move on to the hot list? Do you guys know the band Flow? The girl band? No. You know the song, I'm gonna put your chair in a card. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes. So they blew up maybe a couple years ago. They just announced that they're going to release an album in July. But that just got me thinking about the comeback of girl bands and boy bands. So you've got Flo. You guys know Say Now. Crickets. Crickets. I'm trying to think of a song that you may know. I'm at the supermarket. All new drinks are now at McDonald's. With refreshers like the strawberry watermelon refresher. and the mango pineapple refresher with popping boba to crafted sodas like the Sprite Berry Blast with berry flavors and cold foam.
7:52Who knew ice cold drinks could be so fire? Try them all now at McDonald's. Refreshers contain caffeine. Copyright 2026, The Coca-Cola Company. Sprite is a registered trademark of The Coca-Cola Company. No? Okay, anyway, they're really cool, but go bad. And I think their story was really fun because it started with two of them, Isabel and Amelia. And the whole TikTok scheme of trying to get their band was that they started their name as Need A Name Bro because it was just two singers. Oh, funny. And they didn't have a girl group name. And then they did auditions for the third person. I don't remember her name, but she joined.
8:29And then they became Say Now. And now they've kind of gone international. They're a British band. But obviously, you've got Cat's Eye that are popping off right now. Yeah, slow. Then also we've got the comeback of boy bands as well, but like R &B soul sort of vibes. So there's a boy band in America called Soulified and they are popping off on TikTok. I haven't actually listened to any of their music, but like the promo for all of their music, the promo for the band, they're like two, four really good looking guys. I feel like that's how boy bands take off as if like, or even if there's like, there's one really good looking boy, that's how like One Direction of like Tony, but Harry Styles became like that guy.
9:07Do you know what though? I also do think the rise of boy bands, girl bands is coming back because obviously we're into that nostalgia, that 90s era. I also feel like during COVID, a lot of people went solo or just like it was the time of the solo artists because you couldn't go out and see anyone. And now I think everyone's like, let's bring back a bit of the band culture. Yeah, exactly. Because we can get performances from it. Like with solo artists, yeah, you can have backup dancers and stuff like that and you can still be a great dancer, but it's just not the same. It's like if you've got three or four good girls who can sing really well, can dance even better, like actually throw out a performance.
9:40I love going to a concert and then them doing like a little dance break and like popping and locking. And also how much of that are we seeing now? Like I feel like every artist now or every boy band, girl band, solo artist, they have like a thing about their show that makes them take off. Like the Zara Larson, when people come up on stage and dance. Like there's always something or like Alex Warren as well, when someone hits the buzzer. I don't know, I get you. I feel like I love how there's an element to it. Or like Apple when they did the dance. Yeah, of course. Like obviously Tate McCray is like an amazing dancer.
10:09Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Sabrina Carpenter, which sex position she did. Oh yes, the Duna position. Or who she could arrest. Yeah, God. She does a lot. She's had a lot. She does. But that takes me to Harry Styles as a new music video. So good. So good. I could be getting this completely wrong here. Surely Charlotte loved it. Surely. Like that's her type, I swear. That is her type. That is her vibe. I kind of see that. But you guys know that I wasn't really a Harry Styles fan. but this music video has transitioned me. I was watching it, I think there was like four of us watching at Steph's desk and I was like, whoa, like who is this?
10:42Then I saw Harry Styles like emerge from the dancing crowd and I was like, wait, you can actually kind of dance. You're a great singer. You're kind of - He is like the full package, I swear. Full package. Full package, like he can dance, he can sing. He's so good looking and like, there's just so much appeal to him and his music. I feel like I love that it's a bit different to his previous album. Yeah, me too. I feel like it's very Marmot. Like that music video came out and some people were like, what is that? Oh my God, I loved it. But I loved it. I thought it was brilliant. I also, I've seen somewhere on TikTok that a lot of people are saying, is this a toxic girl mentality of now he's engaged, a lot of people fancy him more?
11:15Yeah, so it's like, you want what you can't have. Maybe that's me. Do you know what I mean? Everyone's like, oh, he's taken, which gives it a bit more like, because he's got a girl, it's like a little bit more just like, I don't know. Like, yeah, once you're taken. Well, you can't have vibes. Yeah.
11:32The dance moves, chef kiss. I saw a TikTok the other day and it was talking about how we don't make music videos of like acts anymore or like a show. Like back in like the 2000s, remember that song, that Katy Perry song? This is the part of me. But do you guys remember the music video where she went to war? Yes. Oh my God, yeah. When was the last time we watched a music video from like our generation artist that was like a proper performance? Yeah. A part of the Sabrina Carpenters but like, I think she's the only person that's actually like brought back the actual like shows make it a movie vibe So so true I'm excited to see more of that with the girl bands and the boys Yeah, I can't wait.
12:10I love a music video I love a music video I remember coming back home from school and like the first thing I would do back then was I like type up into Google Like this music artist and then let you watch their On repeat Yeah, on repeat Justin Bieber always What do you think is one of your most like nostalgic or stuck out music videos from those Vevo days? Or, or, or, or
12:34Or what makes you beautiful by One Direction. I used to watch that one all the time. That's a great one. A lot of One Direction actually. I'm just thinking of the Red Nose one way or another. And he was like doing the dance was that? Did I make that up? No, I know the one you mean. This one. Yes, that's what it was. One of my most nostalgic ones, it's basic, but love story. Taylor Swift in that dress and she's running across the field and she's leaning out on the balcony I remember when I was younger being like that's for me I want that dress I want that hair and I want that boyfriend you know what actually I remember Bad Blood that music video was iconic a masterpiece it had everyone in it like everyone at that time who was like hot Hayley Steinfeld Gigi Hadid Lena Dunham I'm pretty sure Kendall Jenner was in that Kendall Jenner Zendaya was in it Yeah.
13:27Zendaya, Kendrick Lamar as well. Like that music video, that song. Iconic. I think that's one of my favorite Taylor Swift songs. And I'm not even a Taylor Swift fan. Yeah. That song was great. Do you know another rogue music video that sticks out in my memory? Does anyone remember the music video for Telephone with Lady Gaga and Beyonce? Yeah. Yeah. In the cell. Yeah. They're like half in prison, half in like a Texas diner. Yeah. And then they like poisoned the whole diner. Yeah. With the like the syrup on the on the waffle. Yes. And I remember I actually remember vividly wanting that food. Because the syrup.
13:56I don't know what it was. but the slip looked so enticing that I was just like, I really want these waffles. Yeah, love. Anyways. Do I want waffles now? The waffles look great. Let's move on to, oh my gosh, guys, James Charles has been canceled again. I think he is someone with just like nine lives. Like you just can't cancel him. He always comes back from something. I don't think anyone can really be canceled, but let me tell you about the concept that I see. So he came on and made a video and was talking about how he got a DM from this girl who had been laid off Spirit Airlines. It's an American airline.
14:27I think she was an air hostess. And she basically in the message was like, hey James, I've just been laid off from Spirit Airlines. I'd really appreciate if you could contribute to my GoFundMe. I lost my job. I don't know what to do, blah, blah, blah, blah. He, his response was a video and he goes, in a nutshell, you need to watch the video, but it was so rude and so - Demeating. Was it? Like blunt. And this is why I think it's controversial. It's basically in a nutshell, he was like, everyone loses their jobs. Why are you coming to me for money? you don't even follow me you've never mentioned me before you're not a fan like even if you were I would question it but like I'd be more inclined to give you money if you were a fan but like I don't know who you are like why do you expect like celebs and creators to give you money but the way he said it delivered it yeah was so bad and like he just kept going on and on and on it was to the point as you were saying that where it was like demeaning belittling yeah yeah like It's almost like I don't disagree with what he's saying to an extent, but it's the way you say it.
15:28And I feel like that's a lot of things nowadays and the drama we see on TikTok or online, it often is a way of like how people like present themselves or like say things or how it comes across. And I don't know whether that is a thing of like our day and age being a little bit more like sensitive to these topics. However, you just don't talk to people like that. I don't know whether it's like a hierarchy thing of him being almost him perceiving himself as like above this person. So like, I don't know, something like that. That's how it comes across. But yeah, no, I get what you mean. Cause I, I, I agree with the message.
16:00Yeah. Like you said, which is why I think this is controversial because I've seen a lot of the mess, like the comments underneath his video. Like how can you even say that? Like you've got all this money. Why won't you just give a bit? And I'm like, by the end of the day, it's his money. Just cause he's an influencer with loads of it doesn't mean he has to give it to you. Yeah. Which could be controversial. but again the way he delivered it was horrible yeah it was so in this situation like where's your pr team like can he post that video i don't know if he has yeah i don't think you know what i mean i'm like do celebs can they just post what they want to post or do they have to run everything by because i'm like in what world was anyone letting that get out well a segue from here my girl alex earl she did an interview on the today show tell you what that girl is pr trained range true that is someone with a PR team and she comes on essentially she went on for an interview and I'm assuming it wasn't even to talk about Alex Cooper but obviously because we've still not heard anything and that's obviously what everyone wants to know right and the interviewer was basically asking her Alex to be like tell us the deets what's going on is it real beef is it not and And Alex Earl basically just comes back and is like, look, we don't have very long here to talk today.
17:15Like, I don't want to get into all the bad stuff. Like, let's move on. And it was a very - It's such a lovely day today. Yeah. It's just like - Why would we ruin it? I think now she's saving the unraveling of this beef for the documentary. Do you think? Or the Netflix show. I just don't think we're gonna get the end of it. I mean, I don't think we're gonna get - But why would she now not, I mean, if she's thinking strategically or smartly, and if she's let it go on for this long now, why would you not wait for your Netflix doc to come out, profit off of it? And then everyone - Yeah, when is the doc coming?
17:43I don't know actually. I think you've hit the nail on the head there. Yeah, but it was just weird. That is someone who is obviously very well PR trained, but James Charles, however, don't know if that guy's got a PR team. But I think that's the difference between like, the OG influencers and creators versus the new age ones. James Charles has been around for like, yonkers. Alex L has probably blown up in the last couple years. And so, now that being an influencer, and being a creator is like such a trend and everyone's trying to hop on. You've got to find a way to like, like navigate the like industry and just entertainment world.
18:14True. With PR training, because you can't just say anything now that we know that cancer culture has risen. People are just like actually losing their lives and their, not lives, losing their livelihoods from that. But like back in the day, who was going to like, it wasn't, no one was thinking about being PR trained and going online and watching what you're saying. But this is what I mean now where I feel like we had that sort of culture about, obviously I'm not like making this as like a whole, but like I feel like community of people who watch TikToks and Instagram videos now people are so much more sensitive yeah to things that people say how people perceive things how people come across but it's like you sort of need the PR if you're going to want to survive in this world that you're going to need some sort of PR to guide your way through it speaking of PR who else has been getting good PR Alyssa Liu oh my god unbelievable American figure skater god she's in everything these days.
19:03Also, I think it's so hard, especially being a figure skater, to really break into that celebrity. Break the ice. Yay! You were waiting for that one. It was like on my tongue. I was like, when's my time to say it? She was itchy to say it. But anyways. No, but you're right then. It's so hard to break into that kind of thing and she's done it so well. Yeah, but she is now the ambassador for Louis Vuitton. Sick. I know. And you know what I love about her? I think she has such a look. She makes herself seem and come across as so different. and like her hair, it's a bit different. Her background's obviously so different.
19:34She comes from like an athletic background. I just love, we were sort of touching on this like the other day in the office, how like brands are sort of seeing people as not just influencers or models or everyone looks the same to be the face of their new campaign, but getting other people in from other walks of life or other, I don't know, roots into this like famous world. Yeah. Like athleticism like that's so cool. I'm enjoying like the intersection of like fashion and sports. Yeah. Because now, as you were saying, it just makes it a bit more almost like not relatable because your average person isn't going to afford a Lubricant bag.
20:08Yeah, yeah, yeah. But at least they're appealing to a different crowd. Yeah, I agree. You can look like Gigi Hadid or Bella Hadid and love them and it's great. Yeah. With the rise of creators and influencers and just like your average person gaining like a million followers overnight. I love how like brands are tapping into that culture. Another thing about like cool collabs. So Fred again just did a collab with Dropbox at one of his concerts and what it was was to encourage the audience to not go on their phones so all phones were banned but he had loads of photographers in the audience and loads of people taking photos and videos and you could then access the dropbox link at the end and like post and take whatever you wanted from it which actually makes so much sense because i went to one of his shows recently and you weren't allowed to go on your phone i did go on my phone but there was so many photographers like actually in the crowd not just standing at the like the barricade at the front like they were in with their camera I actually did get a few photos where are they Fred?
21:02Because I want to see them send me that Dropbox yeah because what I thought was quite interesting is they were basically like not that we're super superficial in this age but most people get their phone out or are constantly filming to try and capture that great beat drop for that great story you guys relax we'll take care of that as the production and then you can all post because there's photographers in all different angles of the audience it's not going to be the same picture that's what I was worried about because I was like well I don't want the same thing as everyone else but at the end of the day you do get the same thing You always get the same thing as everyone else.
21:29And actually that helps a lot because, personal experience, a couple weeks ago, that's Sammy Virgie. And like, I'm obsessed with him. Like I need to, I actually, he's the only person that like I rewatch my videos and like clips from his concerts. And I was going through them and half of them, the sound is just like, like you can't hear anything. Because I was so hyped, I was covering the mic. And also the camera's like flipping shaky cause I'm just like, so actually that helps us out a lot. It'd be so handy. It's so smart and I love as well because it's so well tailored to Fred again. Yes. I don't know.
22:02There's just something really cool. Just like him like techie and then he's got his Dropbox. And he's just like, do you know what I mean? He's got his Dropbox. On the topic of new music, Gracie Abrams' new album is coming out July 17th. But her new single hit the wall. For those listening, it's out for us. It's out tomorrow. Guys, I am Gracie Abrams. Biggest fan. Really? Saw her Glastonbury. And honestly, my whole family was literally like, this is like the happiest we've ever seen Anna. And I'm a happy gal, but like the happiest we've ever seen. Like jumping up and down, love her so much. Got my boyfriend onto her, we're obsessed.
22:35Like we're literally counting down the minutes till - She's just great. And there's loads of things about like, you know, there's gonna be a few songs and they're probably about pool. The song it's going all over TikTok. She released a little snippet of it on TikTok. And honestly, it's amazing. It's - Have you seen all the edits that people are doing? It's like cracking the pavement. I can't remember. I'm closed off. Yeah. No, it's like, Cracking the pavement And it fell off And I hit the wall That was really good. Also, guys, this is going to be my breakup song. Oh. Oh, can we not? Not in a deep way.
23:08No, love this for you. Yeah, in a, you know, come on. Yeah. Take that out as well. No, I like that. The reaction of the... Come on. I don't really listen to Great Abrams. You need to. If you were to give me three songs of hers to listen to, what would you suggest? There's so many. There's so many. In the non, non like off the track one, the one that I just really love is That's So True. Yeah. That's a bop and a half. It's just like, so true. Okay. Made it out alive, but I think I lost it. Seven hours time, set it on the cuff. Oh, you know it. That's my life. That's my life. Okay, I knew that one.
23:43I really like that one. There's so many. So many. She's, honestly, I feel like, India, your homework for this evening is to go home on Spotify and just listen. And then use her loss. what I love what your face yeah then come report back what your face was has she got loads of albums already three or two no this is number three yeah I can't wait also your obsession with Gracie Abrams is me with Sienna Spyro it's getting unhealthy like I listen to her songs on repeat every single day material love has just come out I love it really I love her style I want to see her so much but it's sold out everywhere she has a voice and a half she's just so great and also what I loved about her, she went on the Jonathan Ross show and on the PR topic, she was not PR trained by this point.
24:25And it was the funniest interview ever and like, cause she's quite young and our age, I just feel like I can really relate to her. You can see overnight stardom coming from TikTok just like happening in real time, but she's kept really genuine and humble as of yet. But I love her so much. I love that. I love how we're like vibing with these pop stars. I love this for us. Yeah, the comeback of the pop star. We need a like Gen Z Madonna like. 25:24okay guys let's move on to things we're loving i'm gonna start with the brand desigual oh great brand and we were saying that we actually think it's a bit underrated or not that known in the uk because yeah they're just a great brand anyways yesterday i bought this dress it's a jacket, long thick strap maxi yellow. Kind of fitted but a bit not too bodycon, a bit flowy at the bottom. And it's got a really fun print of deck chairs on the bottom. I don't think I'm describing it right but when you see this dress I got the seal of approval from my mum when I sent it to her and I was like, should I get this?
26:01She was like, yes, I love it. Whenever my mum is like yeah, get that immediately, I'm like I guess I'm going to buy it. It was a bit It's big in Barcelona. There's a massive one there. Yeah, it's a huge Spanish brand. But I feel like Spanish designers or shops like that, it's the same with Danish styling as well in shops. They just nail the clothes so well. It's great quality. Yeah, it's such a quality. It's just such a cool brand. I think people need to get on that more. Yeah, I love that. I'll check them out now. No, you should. Love. Something I'm loving, guys, in summer, I'm like a huge, more than ever, a lip gloss fan.
26:35Huge lip gloss fan. especially one that's a bit more tinted. I feel like when you've got a tan or you're applying fake tan or whatever, I just feel like a nice pop of color on your lips that is nice and glossy, that adds the hydration of your face. Kiko, their lip glosses, I've got them on today. Nice. It's probably come off from all the yipp yapping I've been doing. Yipp yapping. But their glosses are so, so, so good. Like, they last so long, the pigment's so good and super shimmery. So it's like you love like a - Because I quite like just to wear like a lip liner and then just a lip gloss. Not like a lipstick or anything.
27:06I'm the exact same. You guys need to try it. Or even a lip stain and a gloss. Yes. Nice. Love. Yeah. And also they're so affordable. There's so many shades. I literally think there's one for everyone. On that note, Kiko are doing a collab with Robert Cavalli. Well, it's called Just Cavalli X Kiko. No way. How cool is that? I need to go and check that out. I wonder how that's going to work because it's close. Well, I really see like Kiko in that sort of like forestry like summery. Yeah, so all the packaging is like leopard print. Yeah, love. That is like traditional Roberto Cavalli. Yes, love. Bet you there's a lip gloss.
27:37Oh my God, I'm in. We're going to have to check. But I thought that was such a niche collab, but also works so well, but so cool. It's really giving that like, again, vintage Y2K 90s cool eccentric patterns. Love. Roberto Cavalli did a collab with Skins as well last year, which was sick. It was with Kylie and Courtney, and they were like the face of it. Yes. It was just amazing. I wanted everything, but it's quite expensive. Yeah. When I can't afford it, well, it's gone now. On the topic of beauty, one thing that I've been loving at the moment is the Ollier Tinted Hair Mask by Garnier. We all know I'm a low-maintenance girlie when it comes to my hair, and this gives me salon-looking hair like I've just come out of the hairdresser at home in 10 minutes.
28:13In 10 minutes? 10 minutes. I actually got my shade here. I'm Scandi Blonde. Love. And it's also, it smells. Incredible. It smells of holiday. And also, for no one can see, for the listeners that can't see, it's really super purple. So it's going to take all the beigey, yellowy tones out my hair. And especially going into summer, I really like it. when I'm going swimming and stuff like that. I'm washing my hair a bit more regularly. It lasts up to six washes. Oh wow, that's really good. And it just gives my hair such a mirror shine gloss and just really improves the color when you just, I can't be going to the salon every five minutes.
28:43Or nor do you want to be sitting in a salon. For like an hour or two. An hour or two, it's about six hours. Say what, that's my horror movie. No, no, no, that's my horror movie. But thank God for this, I never have to. I applied mine like two weeks ago, literally just applied it at home. Yes, like you said, it takes like 10 minutes. and it's like a hair mask. And it's like an at home treatment, which I think just makes it so much easier. Like you don't have to be sitting in a salon chair or anything like that. What I did, I literally applied it, put a face mask on 10 minutes and hopped in the shower.
29:11And it was like the nice little like girly. You've got so many compliments the next day. Or you just like sit in the bath and like have your hair on the house sitting and then shower it out. Then rinse it out. Sorry, this smells amazing. I know, doesn't it? Also there's four shades of total. So I've got here also cowboy copper. Love. Which is a bit more of a lighter brown with a bit of a tint in there. I wear expensive brunette, which I feel like is like the perfect shade for my hair. Which one do you have? This is Old Money Blonde. Also, can we just talk about the name? Yeah, I love Old Money Blonde.
29:39Remind me how you apply it again. You literally just wet your hair, so don't shampoo and condition it before. Then you just apply it, leave it on for 10 minutes, rinse it straight off. Nice. And then you're done. That's so sweet. Zalon perfect hair in 10 minutes. Yeah, I don't know if you're like me as well, where I know the root of my hair gets a lot warmer than the ends of my hair. So I would almost say like start your root and then work it through to your eyes. Okay, hack. Yeah, a little hack for you. Guys, I can't stop smelling this. I know, it's so good. The rest of the podcast is going to be off it now.
30:05Oh, I love it. So good, unreal. Have you seen that Hailey Bieber has been teasing a couple new products potentially for road? I'm first in line. I can't wait. Thing is, I'm like, so she posted this recent TikTok and she did like her full makeup routine, doesn't shout out any prod. We can see in there bronzing drops. Bronzing drops. Also, I don't know if I'm just making this up, but it looked like there was a makeup brush in there. Yes. And a contour. I don't know. I don't know. I'm excited for the bronzing drops for summer. Yes. Because also, I feel like in our office last year, we were all obsessed with the bronzing drop.
30:38It was like our go-to. So this one and it's road. I also saw on her TikTok that a hack for getting glowy skin. Yeah, I've seen this. Is once you've done your makeup, get a bit of the glazing milk on your fingers and pop it over your highlights. Really glowy, natural glow. And enhance the glow even more just to make sure it's submerged into your skin. Apply it with a beauty blender, a wet one, and dab that from the back of your hand onto your face. I actually, that's so off topic, but yes. Oh, it's a glowy girl scum. Hayley Bieber is giving us the glowy girl summer that we all want. Thank God, and if anyone's going to do it good, she is.
31:15Speaking of summer beauty, Pixi, great brand by the way, super affordable. they've just come out with sheet masks specifically for like after sun care so after you've been in the sun on holiday pop a sheet mask on and it's got like ingredients in it that is so good for your skin when your skin's feeling a bit burnt apply one of them and it'd be super calming that is the perfect beauty product for the getting ready for dinner my hair's in the turban oh yeah and i've got a phantom lemon and ham and a bit of vodka in there can i say that i love that yeah and then i've just got my sheet mask on oh imagine like putting it in the fridge as well are so cool.
31:50Oh, that's great. I love that. I want to try that. Also, guys, actually, Charlotte put me on yesterday to this Modern Chemistry cleansing balm. Oh. Modern Chemistry is a Boots-owned brand, but you know, like, the Elemis and the Estee Lauder cleansing balms, love them. Love. They're a bit expensive. This Modern Chemistry one, she spoke about it yesterday in a reel, and I went and bought it immediately. Really? It is, like, so luxurious. It literally smells like spa in, like, a tub. Love. Basically, obviously, it's a cleansing balm, so use it to take your makeup off. You can also use it to double cleanse So take off like your oil and impurities But there's like also a bit of scrub And like just like granules in it So it's like exfoliating your skin While taking off all the oil And everything disgusting on your skin And it smells amazing Also like the tub is just so chic Oh I must buy that It's great I'm really excited Yeah I'm sold Amen That was a turbulent pod But it was so fun Why do I feel like I've been down here For like five hours I'm just out of breath We've wrestled through But also we have more That we want to say Yeah there's so much more we can say but it just means you've got to tune in to next week when we're going to reveal everything else we're going to talk about.
32:53And India's favourite Gracie Abrams. Yes, yes. Tune in for that. Thanks so much for watching. Please, please, please don't forget to subscribe because it really does help us out a lot. And see you next week. Bye.
