In short

Chloe Burrows discusses imposter syndrome and confidence after Love Island, her early-morning radio routine, and how she built a career in broadcasting; the group also debates modern “queue culture” and social-media influencer trends, plus favorite brands/TV.

Guest backgrounds

Chloe Burrows is a Love Island alum and host on Kiss Breakfast (with DJ/radio producer Tyler). The other host/guest is Anna, who co-hosts the LuxeGen Group Chat and joins Chloe for fashion/brand talk.

Key claims

Imposter syndrome is “massive” and normal; she still feels she doesn’t deserve rooms despite success. Her radio job is fun because the team is lighthearted. There’s no blueprint post–Love Island; her path came through relationships and demos.

Notable examples

Queues for new Greek yogurt and for Pokemon (13-hour wait). Book recommendations (Sarah J. Maas, Colleen Hoover). Off Campus casting and campaigns (Tresemme with Belmont; Rare Beauty with Ella Bright). TV picks: The Ultimatum and Are You the One.

We discuss how normal it is to experience imposter syndrome. I try and be as good as I can, but I never think, oh, I'd be amazing at that job, or I should have that.

0:41It's more just like, wow, I'm so grateful. But I really battle with confidence and turning up in a room. That's what makes you human. The power that is the gift of the gab, best gift to have. Because honestly, you will get into so many rooms. So many rooms. And what's getting Chloe Burrows out of bed at 3.40am? Mine goes to me, hello, hustler. get up and get at it. No way. We've got new episodes every Tuesday. So wherever you either listen or watch us, make sure you follow to make sure you don't miss it. Welcome back to the Luxury and Groove Chat. A very exciting one today. We have got Anna and we are joined by the host of Kiss Breakfast, Miss Chloe Burroughs.

1:15Yay! Welcome in. Thank you for having me. Wow, we have got, firstly, apparently we all dress for different climates. I know. So, Anna, what are we wearing today? Too much. In 32 degrees. Yeah, I know guys, I've chosen really wrong today. I've decided to dress for winter today. Still slay though. Thanks. Where's everything from? I think this is an arranged suit from ASOS. This is a really, really old turtleneck. I couldn't even tell you where it's from, but I'm loving blue at the moment. I love blue. Blue's in. Got a little blue. Got it on my nails, got it on my top. Earrings, lovely. Yeah, earrings.

1:48I think these are ASOS as well actually. Nana actually loves these. They're cute. I'm pretty sure they're sold out, but they're literally my most worn earrings at the moment. And then my little shoes are from River Island. Cute little mules. Very cute. And Chloe this color. Yeah, very nice. Thank you. What have you got on? This is actually from my collection with white foam. Love it. Which launched two, three weeks ago. You can go shop it. The top is really nice. I feel like you could style that all season round. Yes. Very easy piece of stuff. I love the funnel neck. Love a funnel. Really cool.

2:17It's 30 degrees outside and I've got some flip flops on. But I think it's tish. I'll do it to Batman. 100%. Honestly, I think this is the chic way to wear them. There you go. Oh, thank you. You got it down. You got it down. You got it down. What about you, Sweet? What are you wearing? I have got a big baggy white tee. This is a Vetements one, but I think my dad actually got me this, you know, for Christmas. I think it was like a TK Maxx, like, bargain or like a Selfridges reduction sale. But yeah. And then got some camo Bermuda shorts on from Bershka. These are quite new. And then just some heeled kitten heels from Topshop.

2:47And the glasses of Jimmy Fairley. Necklace. I love your necklace. Cotton on. No way. Yeah, they do really good basics, but who knew? Guys, the jewellery's kind of popping off. Love that. Yeah, really good. They're on ASOS as well, so yeah. They're an Australian brand, aren't they? They are. They're massively Australian. Yeah, everything's designed there. All of their, like, basics are really good. And their pyjamas are amazing. All of their denims. Yeah, 10-10.

3:12Right, let's get into the hot list. Right, starting off, I don't know if anybody has noticed this. I'm out in London yesterday. Queues everywhere. I was sat having a wine massive queue for the new Greek yogurt place Oh my god Micah Yes Is it one India went to Yeah Are you a Froyo fan? I do love Froyo Apparently Yochi's coming here as well Yes Sophia and Cynthia Tell everyone Literally So good Everyone's been saying this but with more queues I think we are headed towards a little bit of New York City and I'm just asking what are you guys actually going to queue for? Like what do you think is worth queuing for?

3:45Honestly nothing that's why I got a blue tick Joking. Jokes. I would queue for a book, but I wouldn't queue for like a food. Yeah, like I'm a really big reader. So like a signed book or a new releasing of a book I'd go to. Who would you queue for? What author? Oh my God, Sarah J Maas, Rebecca Yaros. Lovely. Whoever wrote Edge of Darkness, they were amazing. Whoever wrote Spark of the Other Flames. Amber V. Nicole as well. Like there's a big group. Oh my gosh. Guys, I love that. If you ever want to meet Chloe Burrows, guys, get to Waterstones. Get a good old book. Get to Waterstones, guys. I love that you are into reading.

4:19It's like your thing. Oh, yeah. I see it on like your TikTok. Yeah, how cool. I feel like recently everyone has become like so like book obsessed. And I hate that. Yeah. Book talk is like a good thing. It's become like a true... Yeah. You're like my reading age was really good when I was really young. What was the book that made you like get into reading? Oh, good question. I've read like genuinely since I was a kid. Yeah. And then in lockdown, I fell back in love with it because I was skiving from home. so I really got into like Colleen Huber and then I went yeah that was like kind of my entry Verity was my like in and then I was like hooked on all of the books yeah I can't remember which one was mine I remember I did Leanne Moriarty who I think did Nine Perfect Strangers and that was that series then I stopped it again because obviously Love Island haha and then my brother's baby mum girlfriend she got me on Sarah J Maas ACOTAR and that just I was just back like crack wow love that unreal what would I queue for or hot pants today.

5:17Yeah. I'm always either front of the queue or I'm not queuing. Nice. I feel like I'm not sitting in the middle. Fine, okay. Because I'm quite impatient. Wow, I want to queue with you at the front. Yeah. I feel like I learned that from my mom. My mom is such an airport dad. She will be first in the queue at an airport. Yeah, I'm raised up. It's like instilled in my brain that I'm either at the front or I'm not there at all. Or I'm barging my way to the front. Like, sorry. You know, it's queues also. Up in Leeds, and I know there's a lot of shops in London that have it, but Pokemon at the minute is like popping off and it's been popping off for a hot minute, okay?

5:48Like Pokemon, I'm dead serious. So we shut our business at six o 'clock on a Wednesday and as we left, somebody had a camping chair at the Pokemon store and we were like, surely not, surely not. The man queued for 13 hours. He sat at night in this chair, multiple of them, him and like the friends. By the time we got there again next day in the morning, it wrapped around the building. No way. All the way around. Like, I think the nostalgia of, like, people going in-store and having stuff like that is coming back because people are getting bored of, like, the whole online craze. Yeah. And it's all coming back.

6:24Now everyone's queuing. Yeah. I love when men have, like, cute hobbies as well. Like, at least they're not catcalling or in the club. It's so great. They're queuing for Pokemon. Exactly. Carry on with it. Love that. Right. Speaking of crazy, has anyone seen Cameron Dallas' TikTok? Cameron Dallas from Vine. From Vine. From Vine. Do you remember, like, Nash career? You used to have a really square haircut. Blue eyes. piercing blue they were like really really big oh geez back in the day nash greer cameron dallas i'd know them by face i'm really bad i'm sure you would yeah essentially he used to be huge back in like 2010 20 like that era then he kind of dropped off no one really knew what he was doing anymore all of a sudden he's appeared back on tiktok and he's come out with this really heavily ai produced music apparently he's produced something like six albums this year alone and we're in july and he's just gone into music that's it no one really knows what's going on the guy posts honestly about 50 tiktoks a day because someone showed me this man yeah i know yeah i know the one with the square haircut i know who you're talking about oh my god i keep seeing him do that on my day this is this i don't know who he is but i've seen that oh my god and it's like you know how people like they'll either go down a route in social media where like they'll find their path they'll find their venture and then they'll go and they'll nail it and smash it I'm not saying he's not gonna smash it, but it seems very like niche.

7:45It's very niche and it's very random. And it's just, I don't really know what he's getting from it apart from a lot of backlash. Everyone is just a bit like, what is going on? Is he American? He is American. I feel like that LA influencer culture, like they are way more thick skin than us. Like they will rage bait all day long and don't care. They feel like unaffected by it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Cause his feedback was like, everyone was like, oh my God, this is so AI and whatnot. And he came back and he was like, if you don't like it, don't listen to it. and I'm like kind of fair but he's not like he's not saying this is AI it's just everybody else is saying it is so he's kind of not admitting that it is but then if you do listen to it maybe it will become your favourite song who knows but hopefully not do we think it's just the Vine paychecks are drying up I think so oh yeah have a little scroll I will tonight I'm giving you homework listen you said that your playlist this morning was Jonas Brothers Chloe now it's going to be Cameron Dallas apparently it's eclectic it is 100 % also on that kind of route of the Americans being much more thick and rage baiting Michaela the MUA the one who's like Kim Kardashian yeah have you seen everything she's been posting about her divorce oh yeah so I have followed this journey no the journey has found me and has like sucked me into it yeah like I would get random updates of her and Cody moving in together her and Cody getting engaged Cody went to rehab like I was getting these random and now they're divorced but she The way that she posted it wasn't like, oh, you know, like we're getting divorced.

9:13It was firstly I got the sit down video being like, you're going to want to sit down for this. I saw everyone commenting on this. Viral. But now the new one is what the sound is. What is it? War is over the Christmas song. And she put it to that. And it's her skipping out of being like my divorce is final. But what happened there? I have no idea. She's got a new man's and it was her high school sweetheart or something. Yes. But wasn't it Cody's friend? Holy cow. Yeah. allegedly I don't know apparently something like this but like she did a whole party she had like a t-shirt on that said just divorce yeah is she rage baiting or what because her whole she is a good rage baiter though I feel like a lot of her content is a lot of rage she is but she started off very much kind of homegrown very kind of small town made it big like very wholesome it was all I think again like we were saying before I think it's so easy to slip into that in that sort of culture out there because I feel like everyone their cat dog and uncle is an influencer or like wanting to be in that limelight.

10:11And I feel like when you're in it, you're so scared of losing it and you'll just do anything. There's a lot of pressure as well. There is so much pressure. If you share like bits of your life, you have to share it all. Yeah. And if you've got a new man, maybe she has to be happy about the divorce. Yeah, but like, she's made it into a full PR stunt. Good for her. I know. Wild, isn't she? Yeah, she is. And she gets used. Stay paid. Stay paid. She's doing well. Honestly, she is getting, her brick must be stacking at this point. Honestly, he is outrageous do you think people have in their moment have you watched Off Campus of course I have it's from a book oh yes of course of course she's read it not because it's trending because it's from a book guys yes and the book's incredible yeah it's really good I should say are incredible anyway Balmond from Off Campus he is fronting a campaign for Tresemme nice it's a hot curl summer that I think genius and obviously his curls were a huge part of the series and like all the edits that were made of him like they had such a moment I just think it's such a smart move from Tresemme to pick up on that, have him front the campaign.

11:12It's mega. It is really clever. But also, I just think the off-campus cast, though, they've done so well. So same with Ella Bright. She's fronted the Rare Beauty campaign. Also, the only ambassador ever for Rare Beauty, celebrity ambassador. It's only ever been Selena Gomez. And the first one is Ella Bright, which is mega. That's amazing. Isn't it incredible? I really like the casting of off-campus. Me too. I think it was actually quite diverse in like lots of different ways. And I think, I suppose it kind of takes away from the program, like the series itself. But because we see so much of the BTS, like you see them attending press, like junkies, you see them on the red carpet, you see how they interact together.

11:51And I do think that like bears an impact. So I think because we see that, we're like, oh my God, like they're all such like actual friends and they all get along. So it makes us love it more. And I honestly think that she, I love her. I love that they didn't use like massive, bait actors. Exactly. Same with He Had Rivalry. Sensational casting. And then there's another book that's getting adapted. They're going to do the same thing, aren't they? I was going to ask you, off of that, because obviously you're a big bookworm, what of one of your favorite books would you love to be made into a series?

12:22Oh, well, they're doing it. They're doing Fourth Wing. Are they? And Josh Houston from Off Campus. Don't you dare step foot on that set. You are not Zayden. You're not even, oh my God, I will literally buy it. Who do you want to be? I like, Belmont could maybe. Okay. but he could be in it but then like I really like Emilia Sequoia who's that? Google him we've spent all day Googling him is he from something he's German I don't know I honestly don't even know I think he's like I love how niche that was but you were like he was with Rosalia allegedly they were pictured together yeah yeah yeah so he would be like my fan cast did you ever I always do this after I finished a book I'll go on TikTok the fan art hells yeah I spent all day on it and people will like cast people who they think and I'm like yeah I can so vision that oh no I love the AI yeah because you can actually see it I love it.

13:05And then it's like, you can visually see the story happening. Oh, honestly. All day. That's all my for you pages. Really bad for the environment. Really good for me. That's fine. It's all right, because Cameron Dallas is doing the same thing. I have plastic straws. So at least you're doing more. There you go. So good. So good. So niche. Another really cool campaign that we were actually discussing earlier, Miss Hayley Bieber. Guys, her role is not stopping. It's not. Honestly, my for you page is just her. with a different brand every day. Now she's with Gap. But to be fair, I'll give her one thing.

13:39Every single campaign she does is actually very well thought through. So she's collabed with Gap on Real. She's releasing some jeans. But they're also, they're very like Hailey inspired jeans. So I feel like it feels very true to her, true to Gap. She's shot with Gap obviously before. She's been spotted wearing Gap before. So it feels like a very fitting and well-suited campaign. And it's really anything Hailey Bieber wears, styles, anything sells. but this is the thing that i think is really interesting where i think people like kendall jenner who are like equally as cool kendall i think every time she does either like a campaign or a partnership she always looks very different because she's very good at styling lots of different aesthetics hailey b bright thing has done really well to solidify her like minimalist white ribbed tea jeans and like havianas or her sandals she has kind of really kept true to that in every single thing she's done which i think is really hard to do without people getting bored so true I don't know why but we've not gotten bored of it she also I feel like you know how they say people have like starter packs Hayley Bieber's starter pack would literally be like a white top jeans like a small heel but girl her starter pack is also her current pack and her husband let's not forget Justin Bieber I do love me some Hayley Bieber I've recently become a big fan of her I wasn't familiar with her game but I saw Biebs at Coachella and then I became obsessed with Hayley and then I was like then I was introduced to Road and I was like oh damn this girl She knows what she's doing.

15:02She does. But I think Gap also know what they're doing. Like they had the cat's eye campaign. Then Victoria Beckham. And now her. Like something's going on there. There's something about Gap that is just so, it's such like a heritage core. It's been around for so long. It's because they kind of, they went through their whole, they didn't know if they were going to make it kind of thing. And then it kind of got flipped on its head. And now it's back like better than ever. The Coffin Golden Store popping off. I get so much fun there. I think it's because they have such huge people like fronting campaigns for obviously clothing that is just so affordable as well.

15:30And also good quality. People have known it for so long. It feels like tried, true, and trusted, you know? Tried, true, you know? Tried, true. True isn't even a word. True. Tried and trusted. I like it. Tried, true. Tried, true. I thought that was right. I know. None of you were picking up on it. I was like, guys, who's true? True. Tried, true, and trusted. Yes. Tried and tested, babe. But I wanted to get into some questions with you now, Chloe. And I was going to ask you, obviously, your career, similarly to Gap, we've done lots of different 360s here. You're very good at that. She's trying to be true.

16:02I'm so true today. You're true to test it. And one thing I was going to ask you is obviously now that you were on Kiss Breakfast, like you were telling us earlier, your routine is so different to what I think people think it is. Girl, tell us all, what time are you in bed and what time are you waking up? Girl is, I like to be in like my actual bed laid down at 8pm, like relaxing. That's unhinged. But that, like I'll be doom scrolling, like I'm still on my phone or, you know, or I am reading, like I am addicted to my Kindle. So that's not saying I'm asleep by then. Also, if I get in, like a lot of days I'll have shoots and stuff.

16:37So maybe that's my ideal time. Yeah. But I think normally it is 10, 11 and then I'm up at 3.45. That's crazy. Middle of the night. And then, yes. Do you like bounce out of bed at 3.45? No. The best thing I ever bought in my whole life was a hatch alarm clock. Is that when I'm still in bed? Oh yeah. I've got that one. It's really good. when it's like the daylight and it like you lights up your room yeah mine goes to me hello hustler get up and get at it no way yeah mine's a luby one mine's like really minimalist really quiet it's like when it's jumping mine's really happy to wake me up do you think it's easier obviously to probably get up in the summer than it is for the winter because like it's cold it's still really dark outside there's no easiness about it like it's really tough but i i think I think if I don't get up, I don't go to work, so I don't get paid.

17:24So unfortunately I'd get up every day. But I absolutely love it. I'm really, really lucky. Obviously people know it is me and Tyler, and I adore Tyler, but the actual team in there, they are so funny. So it is kind of like doing a podcast every morning. No one takes anyone, like everyone is annoyed that they're up early. No one takes themselves seriously. It is just really, really fun. And we all get the job done and it's so, so fun. Like I look forward to seeing them every day. So I do love that. And that's literally the most important part of a job, I think is like, we're so similar here. We're like, we love everyone who we work with.

17:54It makes the working environment so nice and so much easier. And like, I still hear what you're coming from. And then when do you finish? It really depends. Like our show comes off air at 10 AM, but we have like meetings, we might do interviews, we might have screenings. Like there's quite a lot. I am, I do. I never napped before I had this job and now I'm a serial napper. But to the point where I'd be like talking to my friend. I'm not all borderline, I collect it. like mid if anyone's got dead chat yeah honestly or like in a taxi like i'll snore now as well really because i just like fall asleep backwards like i'm so tired can you fall asleep anywhere yeah and that i've never i've never ever been a napper like millie my best friend she will sleep anywhere it's a talent and now you're gonna give her a run for her money yeah you two in the back of the taxi oh hell very loud it's either loud or just how did you obviously coming off the back of Love Island, you know, we know what it's like.

18:51It isn't always the easiest route to navigate. How did you find it then navigating into like broadcasting and more kind of serious radio broadcasting, that sort of thing? How have you found the pivot? Wow. I think it's luck, personally. I came out and I really wanted, so my route, but I also think when you come off Love Island, you can't copy someone else's route. No. Because that's done now. So, you know, that's my opinion. There's no blueprint, you know. Everyone wants to be Molly May. Only one Wally May. But I think I came out, I really wanted to do YouTube. Like I knew I wasn't the best at makeup, I wasn't the best at like clothes.

19:25I just thought I was quite good at talking, yapping. So I wanted to do YouTube. And then I was really fortunate with the brands I worked with that came to me off the back of Love Island. Like JD, I was signed to for two years after Love Island. They introduced me to like the coolest people. I'm forever grateful to them. Like Nellorose, Chunks, you know, like Harry Pinero, Darkest Man. like they put me in rooms with the big YouTubers then from there I developed a relationship with Channel 4.0 which is like the digital arm of Channel 4 and they were doing amazing stuff at the time like I did this series called Tap Ta which is to this day one of the best things I've ever filmed and then from there I think people saw more and more of me like in situations on TV and screens I was going to say I was like I think give credit where credit's due 90 % genuinely like no word of a lie we find you hilarious in the sense that we're laughing like with you genuinely that's what it is it's having a personality and being able to be relatable because i think that's a skill that we all think that is just like oh yeah we've all got it not everyone like you know what not everybody's relatable i just wouldn't describe myself as that i would describe myself as an idiot but that's why i think you're like because none of us do none of us think i'm so relatable and if you do chances are you're really yeah yeah so actually i think it also is like your biggest gift though i think you like you have the gift of the gab and use it and it works so well because you are just so like authentic and just you and then it works and prevails so well and then you've vanished thank you i also would like it's my management team i do think they're militant like it is genuinely down to them luck and a bit of them yeah a lot of them and a bit of luck should i say but it's very like they're amazing at what they've done i think that thanks to them i've achieved so much like when i left love island i said i want to do radio like i love music music's my thing and i was demoing for years and years and years and obviously then finally got kiss breakfast and That was all strategy.

21:12That was part of their plan. Me, I just turn up and see what comes out of my mouth. It's really unplanned. I always say this though, gift of the gab, best gift to have. Because honestly, you will get into so many rooms. So many rooms. Like that's where you want to be. But what would you say is like, if there is one, what would you say is one of the biggest challenges you've faced trying to kind of, whether it was like post Love Island or even within since broadcasting, is there anything particular that you're like, oh, that was harder than I thought? I think genuinely what I struggle, not a moment, just like a recurring theme.

21:40I have massive imposter syndrome. I don't think I should be in those rooms. And, you know, when I meet all these amazing people, even working with Tyler, he's skilled at his craft. He is a DJ. He's a radio producer. Like, he is amazing. I just think, what am I doing here? Like, more often than not, you know, I've interviewed loads of amazing people. I've got my own podcast. I think I can't believe people want to tune in, listen. Like, I still can't believe, like, if I get a TikTok that does quite well, I think, oh, my God, I still get really good. I've got massive imposter syndrome. And I don't ever think I'm, like, good at what I'm doing.

22:09I'm quite a perfectionist like I try and be as good as I can but I never think oh I'd be amazing in that job or I should have that it's more just like wow I'm so grateful but I really battle with confidence and like you know turning up in a room that's what makes you human and again probably more relatable genuinely like honestly because I suppose you're kind of you're literally just voicing what we all think all the time whether that's like you've got promotion at work or it's your first day a new job or you know our first instinct is often really me you know we question it before we're like yeah actually why not me but yeah our natural reaction is to kind of be a little bit taken aback yes nice to know that even having that feeling that's a normal feeling and you will still go places having that every opportunity is still like what on earth so i don't really have a plan my management do they'll hate me for saying that but all the time i'm just like mad grateful that i'm even four what's been like your favorite thing you've ever done oh radio i remember the meetings we were demoing for ages and ages There are so many amazing things, but I think to get such a big girl job like radio and it's every morning and it's, you know, I've listened to kids since I was growing up.

23:20I used to watch it on TV. Yeah, it's on in the office the whole time. Oh my God. Yeah, literally. I remember that because I was demoing for ages with Tyler and they didn't tell us like if we were getting a show, like we didn't know what was happening. I just kept turning up week after week doing these like pretend radio things. and then I sat down with Short King Paul and he was like do you want kiss breakfast and I was like shut the fuck up I went speechless I couldn't speak my manager was like yeah we'll sign that I think some people just assume that like oh yeah she's like you know you're a content creator you're on level yeah just give her it you're demoing for so long before you bag anything like the unseen graft is like nothing else and I'm still not good I know that I'm the personality hire I don't know what the buttons do but I'm never buying they always confuse me like there's so many he might as well work in a trade center like there are so many screens so many buttons how many buttons are you pushing me none are you joking she's just chatting with her countdown in the background I put a screen in front of me and tells me what a song plays next I love that I just wait for Tyler to choose the song and let me know and then you're like and we're gonna go with it wow on the back of that now like obviously as you say like you've got radio like that's a massive thing but as somebody who wants to kind of keep growing you're very driven what's kind of now the next goal as it were your next kind of point where you'd be like god i'm so pleased with that there's loads of stuff i'd love to do i love tv like that is it is just so much fun to any other tv work that comes as like challenging or whatever not too scary i love that but i would love like anything to do with books you know if i could ever have the own time to write my own book i'd love that anything but i'm just up for anything that's a good time really whoever wants to have fun that's my vibe you should survive it what would it be about I know I actually have a really good book idea in my notes app fiction non-fiction obviously it's fiction but it's a romantic scene I want to do it but it's putting pen to paper and like I've got these long nails it's hard to type man she's up at 345 she's never in the room I've also got ADHD so like me sitting down to type that's genuinely not happening but maybe in like 10 years but you know what like we always say like our generation is about like we need to slow down a little bit more because we're all trying to get to the destination you're enjoying your journey honestly it's too overwhelming it is overwhelming I'd really like to not put any pressure on myself me saying that having panic attacks I am a perfectionist but I really like for the long term I don't know what I'm doing next week as long as you know I've got some jobs coming in yeah 100 % that's good outlook

Try it, style it, make it yours. Because the right pair doesn't just show up, it shows off. First day fits, handled. Walk out ready for whatever's next. Visit your nearest croc store today.

26:21Right, well before we kind of get into a little bit more of things that we're loving, a reminder to everybody watching listening please subscribe so that we can yap with very cool people like Chloe more often and you guys can listen in so please like, comment, subscribe all of that good stuff what have we been loving? what is on the radar at the minute? I'm a big jewellery gal I love jewellery so much I actually forgot to put my rings on today which is not like me I just feel so naked but usually I have a ring on every finger, earrings all the time But one brand I've recently just found is called Enve Blue.

26:58Again, don't quote me. Might not be helpful. Yeah, it's like a Parisian fine jewelry brand. Their earrings guys are so cool. Very like statement-y. I've never seen anything like it before. There's like a lot of like chrome, like that really, really beautiful color of blue and other like really nice complimentary colors and they're just unreal. Find them on Instagram, now do follow them. And that is literally on my wish list. I really, really want to hear it. You're good for jewelry. can I put you onto a jewellery brand please Scythe it's Millie Court's brand I know yes we know of it yes okay her heart bits for holiday they are just so perfect we love the brands she has all these new like crossy bits which I feel like it's very chrome hearts and I think are so cool okay I'm gonna check them out because anything jewellery I feel like that's you anything independent as well we love to like oh yeah on that note actually more for kind of like any of the girlies that have got Indian weddings maybe you've got like friends getting married that like having like the whole big kind of south asian wedding thing there's a really cool brand they're based in new york they're called quab and oh my god one of the pieces that they've got it's like a pair of almost like metallic jeans but they are mirror work all the way down you could wear them to like a festival like that's sick i'm telling them like next year they need to target the coachella girlies because honestly they are mirror work all the way down but the top instead of being kind of you know a traditional very like large one it's very much like a bandeau style top it's like quite simple at the top but the bottom again is mirror work but it comes together as the most beautiful two-piece i've seen and you know like when it's an instagram ad it got me i was like yeah i'll take it i was like i love instagram ads honestly they're so targeted so they know and i was like yeah take my money i'll have it but like again like small brand she's really on tiktok she's really open about how she kind of does her business and she's like, oh, we got some samples back that we don't really love.

28:50Then they got more samples that they're like, oh my God, no, it looked exactly perfect. And I think when you watch the journey of what they go through and then you see the end product, you're like, oh my God. Yeah, and I think there's so many brands like that now that do that so well. Like I know there's a, it's actually a men's wear brand called Mutimer. And they, such a cool brand. I feel like you could all like wear some of their clothes as like female pieces as well. But they, it's run by a guy called Jasper. And he, from the start point of his clothing brand to like now where he's blown up so big, he's literally taking along all his followers and viewers across the whole journey.

29:22And people are literally so invested all because they've watched it from day one. It's so inspiring. I love that. From literally behind the scenes of a photo shoot or how they would flat lay a product for Ecom. I think it teaches people, like we were talking about before, people might not know about, but then they find it. It's the appreciation. So true. You have a newfound appreciation for it. It's like anything, like Odd Muse, like Amy, how she said, similarly to Millie, they both used to, I used to work at ASOS. it's like we all did the A-soul. Yeah. No way. But like, it's funny, isn't it? That you see that actually, not that other people aren't normal, but they're showing us the slightly more normal part of, yeah, we were the nine to five girlies.

29:58And like, actually we did have a dream and actually we worked really hard and all of this. And you know, it's nice to see that transparency, I suppose. That's what it is. But another thing I've been loving, Katie Loxton, their latest drop, guys, when I tell you. Wait, they do the makeup bags, don't they? I've got a pink one. Yeah. And they do like the personalization on everything. Yeah, yeah. That is the best makeup bag in the whole world. I'm so good. It fits absolutely everything and it's not too massive. Watching their like brand development, they were very much, they used to be very like wholesale.

30:25So it was kind of like, you know, the mums had them. They were very practical bags to now being like, the it girlies have it because it's so chic. And the way that they have like dressed it up, the way that they have kind of pivoted the brand to now be positioned as like way more elevated. You will stop somebody on the street to be like, oh my God, like where's your bag from? And they're like, oh, Kate Lockson. They've got the woven bits that you need, like the elevated work bags, the small evening clutches. But the new droppers, oh my God, so tea. Are there any other bits, brands, programs that you've been loving or you've been watching, listening to?

30:56If anyone knows me, they know I'm a self-tan honey. More specifically, Bondi Sands. But more recently, because number one, it's absolutely boiling. Number two, I'm lazy. I know, I don't think Anna knew that it was boiling today. I'm like, what's the tan? Could I just put that on? But they have an express like self-tanning foam. It is genuinely sensational because you can put it on for like one to three hours and wash it off, but like the longer you wear it, the darker it gets. For example, I can put it on before radio, come home, wash it off, and then girls bang in, do you know what I mean? And that's not even like, I love that 3.40 AM, you're the head.

Read the full transcript

31:29Yeah, but I wear pajamas to work anyway. I'm really done. Or even like say, if I've only got, say if I get home like eight and I've got two hours to myself, I can only just bang it on, wash it off before I go to sleep. It's sounding so good. And it's still developed. It's a good form of self-care, isn't it? When it's like now become so much easier, you're a bit like and you feel better after. I'm not me without my tan. I'm not me. I don't even like looking in the mirror without myself. Are you joking? Anything you've been watching? Anything you've been listening to? I've been listening to the show.

31:57Yeah, so do I actually. I have to really think because I have been watching. Oh, do you know what I've been really loving? The Ultimatum on Netflix. Oh my God, I keep going to click on it and I'm like, oh, I can find something better. But is it good? I think like the first four or five episodes are amazing. Do you know what the premise is? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've never been like, I actually don't. get couples um they're all straight couples and they're one of them wants to get married and one of them isn't ready yet right and then they bring them together say they're six and then they swap partners so they go into a fake marriage and just to test the waters absolutely no idea why so like two people who want to get married like they sorry so they've just stolen and glamorized wife swap yes that's what i was the og that's exactly what they've done i used to love wife swap you up.

32:40That was a hot take. That was a real hot take. Yes, they do that, but it's just like so much. I love, love, love messy reality TV. Yeah. Like, have you ever seen, this is the best, like, do you love reality TV? Okay, the best season of any reality TV that you will ever watch in your whole entire life, I promise you now there won't be a better one. Are You The One? Okay, it's an American series, but it's the LGBTQIA series. Oh my God, you've never seen a cinema like it. Really? It's the best season because if you're not heard of are you the bomb no there is a uk version crap don't watch that um but it's basically they put maybe 20 people in a house but before they've even entered the house they've like predetermined who like the producers have said who they should be with as a couple right okay so each week they have to kind of like blind like work out who they fancy and work out if they get like 10 out of 10 couples right if that makes sense and then at the end of each week there might be like three lights go up and so three couples are correct but you have no idea who they think people would yeah yeah wow oh my gosh but it's just the best that's like a real mind game season of TV it's really old but where do you watch it on I think you can get it on Paramount okay or just watch like TikTok clips there's no better series I tell everyone to watch it I know I know I'm just so good this will be our couple program that we have to watch and then we have to debrief the first episode is genuinely nuts right ladies this has been a lovely yup Chloe this has been so nice to have you watch I really enjoyed it Honestly, I can't wait for your book.
