18:43Lola C.:Like that's your right to go to your talk. But what are they doing there? So I think the whole narrative of go to university, a job will be waiting for you. That whole narrative has shifted so much since even when we, you know, we left university. You know, a lot of people advocate to not even go these days. Obviously, there are huge benefits to going to university, specifically if you're like a specific skill set like a doctor. but also I think universities need to get ahead of this curb and try and switch the narrative a little bit and I think by you know inviting these big creators who've built these incredible engaged audiences they can kind of maybe help shift the curriculum to make everything a little bit more

19:18Daisy M.:relevant yeah and what more of a notable skill to do that than Harvard business skill is smart

19:22Anna J.:yeah it is and think about how many dissertations now reference social media and big influences I would do mine on social if I had to I did mine on social yeah and that was like what four or five years ago yeah because it's like 90 of our day and it's interesting it's like you can and also

19:55Daisy M.:yeah and what textbook can keep up with stuff on like a day prior they can't textbooks are made like two years in advance or whatever but like back then that's all stuff that's irrelevant now so I really struggled in school too with like not being as like good at maths and not being as good

28:59Anna J.:I also think, like, I was talking to people and they were like, not really sure, like, don't know if I want to watch that. You'll watch it and you will giggle so much. You have to watch season one, though. 100%. Because you get to know him. But I think it's quite interesting, like, learning about his retirement, how he, like, suffers a little bit with his mental health.

29:19Lola C.:Yeah, and I think these like, you know, high profile boxers or whatever, any sportsman that has lived and breathed a sport, that's all they ever know. They're often probably taken out of school at an early age. They get injured. They don't know anything else. And their mental health can sometimes take such a crushing.

29:34Anna J.:And I feel like we never have the reality show during the aftermath. We always have it during. But like watching Tyson just have to be a dad. Yeah. Like so interesting. Paris, I love her. She's iconic. Jotty. Jotty.

31:09Lola C.:I really wanna try it so Abby the founder it was it was her grandmother who they called wheezy that's how they've set it up so it's like I think there's a photo of Wheezy with her little red glasses and they frame the glasses that's so cute isn't that lovely

31:25Lola C.:I know we're obviously in rosé season but they're red is not to be slept on it is so yeah if you like a sort of sweet red that's so good I've never had that they're rosé though yeah and it's also so aesthetic it is

31:41Anna J.:guys Ruth's is the best restaurant I really think they've upped their game recently too. Like I went at the beginning, so I think it was like kind of like teething period. Now obsessed with it. You're booked in, right? Yeah, you've inspired me. Yeah, so many people are going there, so I think it is getting a bit chock-a-blocked. It's in Putney for those. Yeah, it's on Lower Richmond Road. Is it small plates? What's the vibe? It's kind of like sharing plates. I wouldn't say small, like they're quite big portions, but it's kind of like sort of like imagine Hero, the pelican sort of all of that mixed together but in a smaller little dainty little sweet and like putney along the river it's a nice that's what i would do i would go get lunch there sunday lunch because they do a special then i would go head down to the river get a couple of go to the crab tree exactly and just make a day out of it that's my summer sorted that they also gave me well they gave us a pig's head which they don't have on the menu but they kindly gave an actual A little pig's head.

32:40Anna J.:Like a pig's head. It was kind of intimidating because it had its teeth. Did you eat it? Yeah, obviously. What part of the head did you eat? Neck.

32:56Lola C.:It hasn't opened yet, but it is due to open in a couple of weeks. It's called Spruce. Oh, you spoke about it. Yeah, it's in southwest London. It's a wine, small plates and coffee set up by two guys like similar age to us. and they've released an Instagram page and they've seen they went down to Kempton Antiques Market to try and like kit it out and they're documenting it all so I'm really excited

33:16Daisy M.:I love that when people document the process of like starting, you don't know what you're doing you're like on the venture to making it great and then you finally get to go and experience and you've watched the whole journey I love things like that

34:04Daisy M.:Although I think on that same little street, Brickwood is better. Brickwood, there's a couple of chains there. There are, I know it's a chain, but it is really good.

34:10Lola C.:Do you know, and when I went to Sydney in January, Brickwood is huge out there. Yeah. And the coffee, since coming back from Sydney, I've become a bit of a coffee snob.

34:20Anna J.:They are an Aussie, like, raw. It's cool in there and they sell Tim Tams. Yeah, they do. We love a Tim Tam. We do. Niche, but I found this thing about penguin chocolate biscuits the other day. You know how they're a bit similar to Tim Tams? They can no longer now be classed as a chocolate biscuit because they don't have enough chocolate in them.

34:39Daisy M.:There's another biscuit like that. That almost has a... No, it's a Subway sandwich. It cannot be classified as a sandwich. Because of how much sugar is in their bread. It's a cake. It's the same as McDonald's. No, guys, that's so upsetting.

34:50Anna J.:I know. It's classed as a cake. Yeah, that's wild. Anyway, random.

34:57Anna J.:Bull and Bear is killing it at the moment. and I think it's one of the most affordable shops to kill it. So true. Sometimes I walk in Zara and I'm a bit overwhelmed with the same top but I got these amazing balloon pleated trousers and I was wearing them at work the other day and you were like, I love them. I am obsessed with them. I think they sit really nicely. They're quite low-waisted. I know M &S have quite a similar part. Also, M &S is killing it. Killing it. It's back in the game.

35:22Daisy M.:Just on Pullenberry as well. Also, the Stradivarius Burst. Their summer accessories is literally the place to be. if you've got a summer holiday planned, go there. And it's cool girl accessories. It's not like in your face, really colorful. I think of like stainless steel, mixed metal sort of vibes. Layered necklaces. It's not too micro trendy.

35:40Lola C.:No, it's so cool. So, so cool. Love that. One thing I'm loving is you touched, you're wearing a sisters and seekers jacket, but I've just got their striped hoodie and trackies. Cool. And they are the comfiest thing. So comfy, right? So comfy. I wore them to the airport when I went to Ibiza last week. Oh, I saw that. You look cool.

35:57Anna J.:They're just like a bit of a sort of throw it on, but kind of still feel pulled together. So true. And they're lightweight. They're good for spring. That's why a matching set is the best. It's kind of like a lazy girl hat.

36:07Lola C.:There's a lovely one in Zara I also took away last week. It's a gingham balloon pants and then like an off-the-shoulder top.

36:14Anna J.:Love. I saw, have you heard of the brand Sassy Squid? Yes. So I have a dress from there that I loved like all last summer. It's all linen, isn't it? Yeah, all linen and very like, quite like beautiful pieces. quite elegant and they had a pop-up recently but I saw a girl the other day on Instagram called I think her name's Georgia Nicholson really cool girl like you need to have her on your radar she wore the dress as a top so it was a pink sassy squid top and then brown trousers and then like kind of like run like pulled up a bit with like a gold belt it was such a nice way of wearing the dress and I looked at I was like I've never thought of that I love when you see something
