27Welcome back to the Sheer Let's Podcast. I'm your host Hodgie Templeman and I am joined by Laura Black and Maya Lucky. We're back girls. Yay, the trio. This is so nice. In this episode we're diving into beauty, bit of interiors, bit of TV we're watching and some great celeb gossip. So hold on to your hats. Let's start with what we're wearing. I am wearing a maybe blazer with some big shoulders. I love a shoulder. I wasn't sure if it was a bit much but here we are. with some Zara Barrel Leg jeans and some salon shoes we're matching, we're bookends I didn't get the cream memo today oh and maybe is Molly May's brand, has she named the baby yet?

10no, it's been chapped I saw some funny girls doing stuff on Instagram saying to their boyfriend that they'd called the baby thumper to match Bambi and the husband's like people are believing it, people are wondering if it's going to be a Disney related name, I'm not sure Bambi is because of Disney I don't actually know the backstory but that's like one conspiracy theory or speculation the other one is that he might be called Baker because she had like baking stations at baby shop so they're thinking oh is that them giving away the boy's name and it's a B and a B there it's Bambi and Baker I do like alliteration yeah I do too I think it's probably just going to go down a traditional route and be Tommy Jr oh do you think could be TJ quite cool anyway what I'm wearing is back to me I'm wearing this because Laura has worn it a few times in the office now and I love it so much I bought the same thing so red bomber like v-neck Zara one very cool if I must say it myself but it's from Laura I look great, I look cool I feel red is the pop of the season but don't you think that is the most perfect red yeah it's a perfect red you do have to be a bit borderline like careful you don't dress like a lifeguard oh interesting with the white I do find it sometimes teeters into lifeguard Yellow shorts I might call you out Too many flip flops I am wearing heeled flip flops I don't think lifeguards would wear that They're from Massimo and my trousers are also new from Massimo We're the same because I've got those shoes as well They're good I am wearing, don't look at my feet I thought they were looking okay But I've just clocked down and they could do the moisturiser But shoes from Neos Love that brand so good for shoes so good for bags so good yeah i love it they're bags so good like this sort of elongated with the gold hardware yeah lush so good the jackets from zara yeah trousers are citizens and they were my birthday treat to myself so good um and i've got them in green already and i've actually they're so easy to wear i never thought i'd be a cargo girl but so good and i've got them in the dark green now i'm jealous of your lighter green yeah they're nice and light green would you say this is green?

19yeah it's like a light kind of khaki I'd say like taupe I would just call khaki as well that is so weird I feel like cookies and cream and you think I'm like army and cream military chic that is so weird maybe I'm colour blind what colour is this? my earrings are Missima I think that's it they're great those earrings Yeah, they're good, aren't they? Quite like a stud, but a bit chunky. Well, we're all sort of summer, despite the weather. Yeah, fighting it.

57Let's do what we're loving. Who wants to go first? I can't start with my sodas. Let's keep people... People want to stay tuned. They know that's coming. The excitement is coming. Maya, do you want to go first? I've been talking about this for two days now. Sorry, everyone's probably bored of me. but I don't love them because they work I love them because they entertain me for a Saturday night I turned into a teenager and I bought these strawberry hair rollers off TikTok they literally look like strawberries that big and you wrap your hair around them roll them all up to the top Callum was away and I was like I'm just gonna have an evening to myself I watched the entire series of off-campus I really want to get started it's so good by the way so good yeah I've only watched one episode we won't go into detail about off-campus because it's spoken about in last suits podcast but how did you see the tiktok video of the main guy lifting up a shirt and dancing it he's hot isn't he yeah i don't really go for curly hair but i'm so looking forward to this i wouldn't say he's my type like on paper but i feel like because he's like really deep stares into your eyes in the series you can't help but yeah yeah we're so easy yeah look into my eyes and you've got me it does help him extremely attractive anyway so i washed that I did my hair rollers and I documented it on TikTok thinking this is going to be amazing it's going to work I'm going to look great it is quite a jokes thing to do on your own yeah and did it work no I'd committed to posting the TikTok already before I went to bed so then the next day I was like well I've got to do the reveal regard oh my god and it was so bad I started showing me and you took the first year and I was like wow it looks really good and then she goes no wait for it and I couldn't hide it I was like oh it was so bad what no curl they were just like all over in different directions it was chaos I mean it was fun for me on my Saturday night and I went had an early night and it was but your TikTok shop got the better of you no I didn't have a great night's sleep either I think they mostly probably didn't work because I was sort of like pulling them out of the way half the night to be able to like lie on the side of my yeah bulky yeah yeah I did see the TikTok I'm still a teenager at heart when I'm on my own that freedom isn't it yeah the things you do when you're on your own should and not adult should not be documented they're not adult yeah i'm just very much childlike when i've left my own devices i love being on my own yeah i do as well actually yeah so quite i don't know what to do though i think i like want to fill the time with so many things i'm like darting all over the shop i'm like do i want to be in silence do i want to watch do i want to listen do i want to cook such a treat have a bath what about you honey okay well first up are my new glasses let's see by vara i don't know if the color works on me but i think they're cool oh yeah they're very yeah they really i think they're good with your hair color it's quite soft yeah i quite like them soft anyway i was meant to be wearing them i took them off forgot to put them on when we sat down so here we are we're now wearing them um so in my glasses but also i've discovered a new soda drink guys and I know this might not excite you as much as me but I could keep dash in business I mean I yes I drink so many well let me introduce you to something or nothing drinks yeah they are elite I have had them actually in the past yeah they are nice they're like a little bit more than a dash because they're a bit sweeter so they're not like a fizzy drink but they're like a slightly bougie flavored water yeah they're quite bougie I'd say yeah and they're like sweetened with grape juice rather than sugar.

25The founder's from London. Yeah. You could put them with a mixer too. Yeah. I have like a friend that do drink them. If they're not drinking alcohol, they drink those because they look a bit more grown up. Like they almost look like a posh cocktail. So you could have it with a tequila? Yeah, I reckon. You definitely could, yeah. Oh, wow. But the yuzu is excellent. And so it's cucumber. My fave. Because I don't drink fizzy water. Do you not? Oh, I love fizzy water. So I really want one of those taps that has fizzy water. Yeah, so do I. I really want one of those. You could do that with your house running.

55I could. Should we talk about that a bit? So exciting. And you've just done some work. I did up my spare bedroom, not quite the same. But yeah. Tell us. I just had a very grey, like my whole flat, to be honest, I moved into a new build six years ago, was just white. Do you know how they just make everything white and grey? Colourless, lifeless, so boring. And the spare bedroom, we'd never really done anything to it, apart from do some built-ins that already existed. but I had painted them a sort of torpy colour so it was still very beige. Yeah. So I wanted to transform our spare bedroom. And what do you use it for just when people come stay?

30It's a spare bedroom, it's got Callum's wardrobe in and then he has a built-in desk as well because he works from home quite a lot. So it still needs to like look nice but be functional. So I just wanted to inject it with some colour. So my friend Amy Stollert who is an interior designer helped me do it and I painted it all with Vienco paint, didn't have to buy any new furniture. Oh wow, really? Do you use one of our colours? Yeah, I used three of the Sheilocks colours. Great, which ones? I used Georgina on the wardrobe. So nice. I did Lou on the walls. Yep, great neutral. It's very good. It actually comes out a bit more, it's a bit more like yellowy like this in real life.

04I like that, it's warmer. Yeah, and then Sapna, which is very yellow. Yeah, that's cool. It's more like mustardy, isn't it? Right, yeah. Oh, wow. On the like built-in and the joinery and everything. Oh, wow, that's cool. And it made it like come to life. It looked amazing. Really? Yeah, it looks amazing. Why the change to colour? I just wanted, because the rest of it is quite neutral isn't it? I think that's what I wasn't enjoying but I feel like my flat's quite hard to do too much too with colour because it is a modern new build and the kitchen itself is already blackered grey so you can't really do too much in that so that room just has to stay neutral Spare bedroom was kind of the one room to have fun in Yeah I love that I love being a bit braver with colour too it's not my natural habitat I think it is nice to, you need a friend to like push you to do it.

50I really want to do, I'm doing some renovating at the moment. And I really want to use the Laura. How cool to have your own paint colour in your house. It's pinky. Yeah, I need to find somewhere to use it. I think it would be so cool. Yeah, that's so cool. What paint colour did you use here? The Laura. It's the Laura. It's my own paint colour in my own house. But I also really want to use the Sapna. Yeah, it's a really nice colour. Don't you find it quite hard that when you're doing your interiors, that you don't want to fall into a Pinterest like crap of like committing to every trend yeah how do you do that because that's obviously everything we see and we're bombarded with on like social media magazines I know and I actually said the other day because I feel like I'm fed the same things I was like I think I actually think I've completed Pinterest I've done it it's like Tetris I've done it because I kept being fed the same things yeah over and over again but I think you need to be careful not to be too trend led so like ground it what we did was basically paint all of our existing furniture so it wasn't too far removed from what was already there it was just a different color spin because i think we could have gone a bit crazy and like completely done the entire room but like the bed stayed the same the wardrobe was the same we just painted everything i think that's true like once your furniture's in that kind of stops it from being too trend led because that's your own stamp on it isn't it and it's such an economic way of completely changing the way yeah transformation and also if you don't like it you can just paint it again yeah you can go laura next time yeah sorry laura i don't think i would have got pink across the line to cali yeah fair how do you find your inspo then like how do you find a clear path when it comes to interiors so i love pinterest but i also have a home folder in my instagram saves and then it is interesting once you build it over time like i do i'm quite true to my aesthetic yeah i love antiques i always have I love the thrill of finding a really good antique and that I think once you've got something like that it does help you kind of build a story around it that is a good point though because you could easily just be presented a mood board from you know the three months that you're in and what the trend is at that specific moment the fashion and interiors whatever and then three months later it's completely changed you've got to be really careful yeah whereas if you've saved something for a long time like you've got your Instagram folder you can start to see the things that you do actually really love and you're drawn towards then you know it doesn't really matter because you love that it's not the trend itself and I also think if you really love something then go with it yeah and what brings you joy yeah it's your environment it's your home and it's individual to you because there's so many kitchens in London exactly you walk in and everything is the same yeah exactly so you've got to try and like go into yourself and look at what makes you happy and take inspiration from restaurants and yeah Yeah, I love doing that.

39I know that. And travel. And travel. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Well done, good babe. And good luck. Yeah. How exciting. Okay, well, mine are more frivolous and things for me. Yeah, love it. Tell us. So it was my birthday last week and James took me to Paris for 24 hours. I mean, nailed it. I know. James. He nailed it. But last year he had a shocker. Why would you do it? Well, it was Sunday. It's the last Sunday of half day. And we'd been in Cornwall. We were driving back from Cornwall that day. And then, of course, I had to unpack and do like a shitload of washing. And I was like, this is not the birthday.

18Yeah, no, no, no. Sunday birthdays are hard. Anyway, so we got ahead of the problem this year and booked us two tickets to go to Roland Garros, which is obviously the French Open. And I must say, it was so fun. Dropped the kids at school, got the Eurostar. Went straight to lunch at Lulu's, which I highly recommend. I've only been for lunch there in the winter and I've never eaten outside. And it's amazing. So beautiful. You can see the Eiffel Tower. The people watching is great. And then we were supposed to go shopping, but we got into the wine too much. We went back to the hotel. And then what's fab there is that they do evening sessions at the French Open.

01So then our tickets didn't start until 8.15pm. Oh wow, that's really late. So then we sort of wandered around and then got to the venue and then watched the tennis. We watched Naomi Osaka, who was that incredible young girl who was wearing the sequined gowns onto the court and then taking them off. And she was amazing. And then Sabalenka, who is this powerhouse for women, whose serve was like 190. It was wild. It was over in two sets. Who won? Sabalenka. But then she got knocked out in her next match by a random. Oh, really? An underdog. She was crying in the press conference. She was so ragey, which I get.

39It's quite cool when you get someone else to come up the ranks. Yeah. And then we got to watch a match between two men, Arnaldi and TFO. But what's different in France is that they don't stop the game. So they played until 1am. Oh, my God. Are you sat there until 1am? Oh, my God. What time do you wake up to go? Well, we left and got home at 12. back to the hotel room and then we watched the last hour in bed but you said they don't serve alcohol so you were doing that fairly you sobered up by the end that's probably quite good though otherwise you would have been a bit they serve it in the grounds but you can't take alcohol in into the sea so different to the UK so different I'm so different I'm so different I'm so different cooking in the sun and I'd highly recommend it it was so nice to have that time together as well yeah it was really fun and then we just got up the next morning had breakfast had a swim and then got the US Star Park what hotel did you stay in?

38we stayed at St. Louis oh very nice yeah I'd really recommend if you can get tickets or even if you can't get tickets just 24 hours in Paris yeah yeah Hodges planned the perfect day yeah good for the song done for you yeah listen listen to me man yeah and then my other thing is that we just started watching last night it's Cape Fear which you guys I don't know what that is I can't believe you've never heard of the film I'm no sorry no so it's a film in 1991 91 I wasn't born well I was I was quite I was very much born and I still haven't heard of it I was about to say I love being with Maya on this because she's my wingman and things like this and then you just sorry chuck me in it well it's actually very rare I can never use that sentence anymore so I know when I'm presented with it I think I go for it you're in good company you haven't watched it like because it or Callum has it it's Robert De Niro oh he probably has it is Robert Paul Sosey is the director and it is really scary.

37I don't like scary films. And it's sort of one of those films that you think can never be recreated, but it's about this guy, Robert, the character is called Max Cady and he gets put in prison for this awful, awful crime. And the people who put him in prison, while they put him in prison, he is illiterate, but whilst he's in prison, he then trains himself in law. Is this Kevin Spacey film? no Martin Corsese oh right as in the new one who's got a chem space in it no no no no so guys this is the original right there's actually an original original in 1961 but I'm talking about the 1991 one and then he he gets himself out of prison and then he like goes after this couple 17 this this the guy who put him away 17 years after anyway but it's one of those films that you think will never be able to be remade it's so good okay yeah yeah all those things which you think should never be redone because they're so incredible Well, anyway, they've done it.

32So Apple have made a 10-part miniseries and Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg are producing and directing. Oh, cool. Anyway, it's Javier Bardem and Amy Adams. What, and she's not playing a funny character, she's playing a serious character. Yeah, she's playing a serious character. The original story lends itself to the adaptation, but it's not exactly the same. But it's really good. But they flipped it. So the guy in the first episode, The same thing happened. This prosecutor has put this bad man away and he's managed to get himself out legally and he's coming after her. But she's got two children and he goes after them as well.

16Is the remake as scary as the original? It was a really good ending on episode one. It was really scary. But is it too scary? Because I don't do well. It's not a psychological thriller. Okay, I can do that. Yeah, it's not like... Like you don't think they're going to like come round out the back of the car and get you and stuff. No, it's more like how is he going to fuck with them next. Okay, I could do that. Because I was watching Celebrity Gogglebox, which is also, side note, my favourite show. And Olivia Outwood's on this series. Oh, great. With her mum. Oh my God, great. So her mum's like drop dead.

49She's gorgeous, isn't she? Yeah. And she's the one who told her to go on Love Island. Oh, really? Because Olivia was going to pull out. And then her mum was like, you never know what opportunities it'll bring. she was right but scream seven how the hell have they made seven of these oh my god and even I couldn't watch it via Gogglebox I was so petrified no it's not for me but that is scream seven as in you will be able to watch Kate Fear because it's more sort of it's like it's clever it's like shit like how how else is he gonna get them Kate Faye Kate Fear oh my god

33Kate Fia I'm like who is Kate she's horrified by us it's on Apple TV I am going to watch it you have sold it to me now because when you said it was scary I was quite off put but now you it's scary in an alright way yeah I can do that with count them around anyway okay right so cape fear not kate we don't know who she is she's on a scary bench

12should we do fashion yeah yeah i've only got one thing on my list but it's okay these are also from massimo that i'm wearing now but they have these red also thong heeled wedges but they're quite a height. I love them. They're a really good height. Yeah. Are they suede? No, they're leather. Did you try them on? No. I'm just a bit of them interested. I love them. They're so nice aren't they? Yeah. So I'm thinking about those a lot. Nice. Oh actually, have you seen the Zara collection? With the cape? Yeah, that stuff is amazing, isn't it? Oh, no, I'm seeing it. And like feathery, blazery. The trousers were cool of that.

48And that sort of came with a cape. That's a collab with marissa berenson yeah yeah so good so cool but it's a very good collection if you're going to like ibiza or something like that they've got this green green swimsuit with a green sparkly sarong over the top i need to look at it i know it's really cool the cape particularly is very cool but i've got no event to wear that to no say if i did it would be thinking there's nowhere i'm wearing any of this yeah but mega mega mega mega and actually some beauty okay yeah they're not newbies like they're not new beauty releases but i've just started using them because i put a um instagram post out asking what people's recommendations were and i got some repeaters in so i bought it all one is the dior face and body foundation which oh my god i love the dior foundation was it the forever glow no this is like it's face and bodies you're supposed to use it like oh i don't use on my body but then how do you put clothes on i think mua is quite like it like it's like a bit of a old school makeup product because i've just i love the forever glow i do like that as well actually but i've just bought it in the stick version which i haven't had for years and god it's good do you apply it with a brush yeah apply it with a brush but it's really good like much better in your handbag yes than something liquidy yeah i think do your foundation in general is very good yeah excellent so that's cool i need to try that and then also the road toasted teddy blush which is very boring because i've probably every gen z in the world has ever used it but i've never used it before and it is very good i'm not gen z and i've never used it.

17Oh, there you go. I can recommend it to the right audience. Great. But I often use like a very pinky blush but this is way more of a like dark sort of browny red colour and I'm enjoying it. What about you, honey? It's my birthday in a couple of weeks and a few people have kindly been asking me for links and I've just been down a hole of the NET and the Harvey Nichols sale. So good. So good at the moment. Actually some jewellery from NET. Some of their jewellery was really reasonable but like fashion jewelry fashion jewelry yeah I've ordered two really cool pairs of earrings one for like evening one more for daytime at work and then the doang cardi which I really wanted at Christmas time I don't have you seen it with the it's navy with the cape it's really cool yeah I have seen it and that's in the sale it was very expensive to start with I haven't I'm gonna see if it gets goes down I would do it so it will go no because it's in all sizes on both okay how often do you go back and check well i'll do it in a few weeks i've still got a bit of time really i would be you've got to check that daily okay all right yeah they've also got a really good cape bag on net as well it's their black classic long strap nice that was reduced i want paint paint taps okay well i'm looking at my list and i actually have got a few bits go on then tell us okay i actually i always forget about farm rio good for summer holes i just got the most sexy cover-up the beach well how sexy are we talking subtle sexy okay so not you know like holes everywhere but just like a like a pretty crochet but more like cotton material v deep v deep v embroidered on the edges and then it goes to the floor but the sides are completely open and there's a tie oh nice oh completely open that's cool completely open cool I sort of put it on this morning and I was dancing around in Brian Rude so much free time when I'm dancing on the table would it work for like a pool party but I've got a pool party to go to next Wednesday oh my god it's so good Wednesday yeah it's like a pre-wedding thing in the UK yeah at Kin House because I'm looking for something I haven't got anything to wear at the moment it's so good I only make a check out from Rio yeah great oh and my mum actually bought me something from my birthday which i'm gonna keep which is a raffia bag with braid tears oh i love those with a leather handle um from zimmerman can i say m &s have got a great version a smaller version than the zimmerman but it's really cool i saw it in store and it's got the it's like more like a clutch this is actually quite small okay i thought it was bigger but it's quite small like i would take it to like lunch yeah nice not like a big beach bag yeah we put the mns one today in our email and i thought that would be as you say like fun for a yeah summer mix up the outfit yeah if you're not into like the fish bags yeah yeah yeah yeah crabs and things oh and then demelier i just got a new bag from them which is the stock home in chalk white actually i've got it yeah see it i've seen it and i'm obsessed with the color there's a good color yeah that is yeah and a good shape really good shape and size because sometimes those sort of like bowler bag shapes can be a bit bulky yeah that's nice it's not too big yeah so nice and then my last thing is this makeup one i've never heard of called semi haze oh yeah semi haze it's middle eastern i've never heard of it it's such a good bronzer yeah that's nice their packaging's cool yeah and it's sort of matte powder i don't like a cream bronzer because i feel it takes off my base layer i like a cream bronzer no i know i can't get to grips with that everyone talks about the chanel one i just can't do it the weave one so good yeah i know yeah this is the blurring soft focus powder nice into it and then this is my new blush because we were saying the whole range going on well in for a penny anyway so this is my new favorite blush i feel like that looks like quite similar color to the toasted that's nice yeah and quite is it shimmery oh what do you think yeah you look great you're glowing

37should we do celebrity yep I feel like there's a lot going on Jew and Callum's wedding has been everywhere everywhere her dress she's so hot isn't she I know she's so hot I know we haven't seen the dress yet no okay but the feather dress but that feathered Bottega dress so the wedding was last weekend in Sicily so we've seen the pre-wedding dress and we've seen the day after dress. Yeah. So the wedding dress is under wraps but the pre and the post she worked in. Unreal. Unreal. Everything's so low back and sexy. So what's the wedding dress that night? Her body is just sensational. Gorgeous. Yeah.

14And their wedding looks so fun. I reckon it would have been one of the funnest celebrity weddings ever because I bet the guest list was unreal. Didn't you have Mark Ronson there or something? Elton John's. Elton John's sang. sang yeah first song elton john sang it peter andre andre sang at the fury's wedding can you not there's the furies i love them i love them i love them i was obsessed with that wedding anyway during callum i want to be on the fly on the wall because i reckon they also were just so cute like they're a lovely couple aren't they and sort of all the lovely touches because obviously this yeah everyone knows that they met they met at river cafe and then ruth rogers introduced them and then they met again and they were both reading the same book and they'd finished the same chapter so didn't you not know that so sweet and then on the pre-drinks you can sort of see from the paparazzi pictures there's a they've like made a library yeah like a bookshelf in the background I totally missed that I was too obsessed with the chairs do you see the bows on the chairs just on one side it was so pretty oh what just for women no the women have to sit on one side the bow was just on like one side of the chair I think it's a styling detail the women have to sit on the chairs with the birds on one side I know they've sort of nailed it they're like the love story yeah they're so large we needed it we needed a British love story nice little gentle it's like yeah it's grown hasn't it we've watched it grow can't wait to see the dress though do you think it will be Scapelli as well is it going to be the same brand well she wore Bottega on the Friday yeah with the feathers was Bottega but she wouldn't do a Bottega wedding dress I did think she would but Donatella Versace was there ah so I bet it was probably Versace cool and then the next day she just thought this like that's what you want was the pool party babe I didn't see the pool party oh my god it's like this insane I haven't got the same body as Julie or don't say she's a bride either it's like a name yeah was it white was it white yeah I can't do that it was a lace like beautiful cover up with then a white bikini underneath and then like a high pony so sexy she can do no wrong dude she's my new girl yeah same yeah so proud of you um and then the other woman who is a woman at the moment is madonna yes how cool she is back she is back with a lot of other people too true Madonna style as well yeah it's amazing so she's in the press because her new album's called Confessions 2 and she's just dropped the first video which is insane it's basically in a loo yeah a public toilet yeah is it a public is it it looks like a public it looks like it and she's got the most incredible lineup the cameos so Richard E.

08Grant Benedict Cumberbatch yeah Kate Moss yeah it's quite random wasn't it yeah and he's like mouthing he's not just like in the background he's a star of the show yeah whenever I see Kate Moss in anything now like this I think is it the real Kate Moss or is it that doppelganger that goes around pretending to be oh no surely it's Madonna no it obviously is but that's what always crosses my mind now yeah I know she's on like this morning yeah but how mega so far and it's like a good song it is a good song yeah I love it How old is she? I googled it. She's 67. She's given it some. Isn't she? Yeah.

46They had an after party. Defo. Yeah. That would be a funny little line up for a party, wouldn't it? The other thing she's in the press for is that she, so instead of doing a press tour, she got interviewed by playwright Jeremy O 'Harris, Bob the Drag Queen, dancer Ivy Moogler, designer Raul Lopez, who were asking the questions. I think because obviously the new album is called Confessions 2. So it plays on that. But they said, who is the best sex you've ever had? Oh, yes. What did she say? And she said JFK Jr. Yeah. Ha ha. God, I wish she'd kept that. I knew it before I came down. That's a good reaction.

22What? I know. Yeah. No way. And then the other guy says, one of the guys, I haven't watched it, says, yeah, I heard he had a great. Wow. You know what? But she was married. Was she married at the time? She was married to Sean Penn at the time and he had a girlfriend. So it was just a fling. Oh, right. Wow that is juicy Is that the first time she's ever admitted it? Well I didn't probably Wow Although I think it was probably known at the time Amongst the circles Right people but she kept it under wraps And also she's doing the Halftime show in the World Cup Final They've never done like a FIFA So she's doing it with Shakira My daughter really is Not that she ever really went anywhere but she is coming back full force in 2026 isn't she what a year what a year i know i love it yeah great power to the people i know all these different sort of times you can have in your life yeah yeah i love that good for her

27okay hot topic should i do mine we're waiting i would say that i have got a bad shoulder at the moment i think i slept badly and then i think i'm on my phone too much holding my phone in this arm so it's more connected um and i was loving because i kept saying i really need a massage i just really need a massage and he sort of was that okay and i said tonight babe can you just give me a massage should we get into bed and he just sort of prods me twice and then says sure bonk I want an actual 30 minute full body shoulder pose I was just laughing like how men read so differently into those situations oh my god they're unrelenting I know I was like no it actually hurts yes he was like oh did you actually do want me to give you a mask oh did you then do it no oh I know did you have sex no oh nobody won nobody got what they wanted out of the situation what a shame shame i know men do read things very differently yeah it's not about you it's about me right now yeah the things they have to do i know but you know you're like i'm so tired i need to really need to early night we need to go and sleep and then like you know james bounds in up for it i'm like no no we're tired tired you should have like different pajamas for what mood you're in yeah you can really communicate without actually communicating.

56Yeah, I know that would be so bad though, wouldn't it? I'm putting my frumpy pajamas on tonight. Doesn't someone in the office put a candle on if they want to have sex? No way. Light the candle if they want to have sex. No way. I'm sure. And then the husband, there's no upset in being rejected. But is it like, blow the candle out if you don't want to do it? Leave it on if you do want to do it. Well, I think the onus is on the woman to light the candle if she wants to do it. I think the man, it's presuming that the men are always up. are they though are they always I know I feel like sometimes it would be like no can't be bothered and then are you offending so then do you blow the candle out I know oh god I feel like that's really like but maybe in this relationship the man is always up I think yeah yeah I feel I never ever ever come on to James no I think that is kind of a bit of an issue I think as well because I would say the same yeah me which is bad isn't it and then probably does put them off coming on to you a little bit another friend of ours the girl is always says she's hornier than the boy i feel like that's you that's not me is it not she's horny she gives it all this no but i think we're equally matched okay that's very good that's good i think we're the same that's good yeah i think it is nice if you can be the same because i think if you're not the same it is hard well you're always like someone's yeah and there's a bit of like hurt feelings yeah exactly power play yeah i have to say i'm pretty guilty for like bed being my sacred place that as soon as i get into bed and put my eye mask on yeah that's it i'm going to sleep yeah yeah if someone tries to disturb that i get kind of pissed off if i'm honest yeah which isn't good for a relationship no but i am like ready head in the zone for sleep yeah like if you ever go to hotel room when there's twin beds.

43Callum loves that. Yeah, James. Yeah. Callum, really? James is like, we'll take you in a sharing house with people and they're like, oh, we'll have to bring it to bed. Why? Oh my God, really? How often does that happen? I don't find that happens. Well, it happens sometimes. Yeah. In a hotel. Well, like Hodge says, if you're in a shared accommodation or something. Or you're staying at someone's house. Or you're staying at someone's house. And they, you know, they've got twin beds. Yeah. I mean, you could push them together. Oh, who would bother? Yeah. Yeah, I'm not a pretty sleeper. I could not go on a TV reality show.

13Oh my God. Yeah, what do they do on Love Island? They're just not allowed to film them or show them aired when they're sleeping or weird and stuff. No, because Big Brother, they used to have it on 24 Hours. We used to get out from the pub and watch them sleep. I mean, wow. When it would just be like white noise and nothing could hear anything. Wow. Imagine. Imagine that. I know. Somebody messaged me a couple of years ago and said, would you audition for Big Brother? No way. and as in an actual caster wanted yeah and one of the reasons i said no is because i'm such a rank sleeper like how do you know because i snore oh do you yeah and i sleep my mouth open i'm just rank when i sleep i like i can never leave james but yeah and also my geography is so bad and you know they're like they do like quizzes and i thought of they do you guys so niche sometimes judge you for your bad geography yeah brother

13yeah that you should have led with that no we'd have a bad job oh not just in general you are so random i love that you think you've got everything else nailed but the maybe the one random geography coincidence might come up it was more the sleeping i could like i wouldn't be able to sleep i'd have sleep with a blanket over my face. Big Brother in general, they do just sort of show everything. Yeah. And I think they're just really fuck with you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, they're going to pick the villain, they're going to pick the hero. Oh, God, yeah. They're going to pick the... I would last no time.

43I know. I wonder what they'd have made me. Star. Something in the middle. Of the show. You'd not have been a hero or a villain, you'd be something in the middle. That's nice. Like, you know, like a... I think you'd be the star. Like a black cat. Do you know what I mean? Like what? A black cat. A black cat? like a bit mysterious only unlucky well yeah but a bit like mysterious like really yeah oh my god i didn't know i think now there's a cat you know how they say like you're a golden retriever or a black cat yeah do they're a black cat i think you're a bit more black cat i think you're way more retriever really yeah puppy dog okay this is the point we're gonna do a poll yeah am i a golden retriever or a black cat i'm definitely not black cat poop but you don't like share everything all the time you're not desperate for attention are you that's what gold retrievers yeah oh really like i do overshare though you will know everything let's do listener dilemmas the first dilemma though we're going to take from the community yeah so it was popping off in the community this week one of our members asked a question would you tell your friend if she had a bad outfit on yeah what what do you guys do i i would well how do you know i think it's so dependent if they're asking for advice i mean how bad is it but what do you think then i think i probably would be quite honest like if somebody's got food in their teeth i'd tell them yeah yeah so i think i'm quite good at being honest like that But I wouldn't be like, oh, that's gross.

24But I'd maybe be like, oh, it might look nice with this jacket instead. Like be constructive. You can't just say, nah. I think I probably would be like, oh, that's fun. That's weird. Oh, my God. You can't do that. If we haven't left the house, I'd definitely be like, babe, that is a bit wild. Really? I would if we hadn't left the house. But if they feel good in there, I feel like. but there's a difference between your friends who you know is their style and what they wear etc versus a stranger like I wouldn't if I didn't like someone on the streets outfit I wouldn't tell them that obviously no but if your friend came down and she was like cha-ching like I mean if she was obsessed with it I just let her roll yeah but if it was like we're about to leave I'm like I'm not sure about that hun if she had an option yeah I think if she's got to ask I don't think you can just go up to someone and be like oh road choice i probably would out of my friends i probably would but if they have something else to put on because otherwise otherwise you're just ruining their night but like i'm so i don't know i want to know how bad we're talking here like am i saving you from a disaster you're really going to regret yeah then i'm going to save you yeah i think if you're like oh babe that's too much boob or that's always a bit short yeah like you're saving their modesty.

46I'm less likely to care about that, but yeah. I mean. Morbid, morbid. Me too. Yeah, like you never say. Yeah, exactly. Weird, weird topic for you. I might be like, babe, I think we can do better. Pass egg. That's pass egg. Is that pass egg? I feel like you would be, if you sent options, you'd be like, no, not that one. Yeah. Like you're quite frank with that. Yeah, I definitely do that. Yeah. But if I came down and you were like, oof. Oh, no. I tried. We're going to do a poll. Team me, are you going to say, no, that's a bad outfit. You need to get changed to your friend at home. Yeah. Or are you team Laura, who Laura isn't going to tell them that that's great?

32She's going to let them go out and look rank. No. I'm not. I'm not. I'm going to offer constructive advice and boost their confidence, not take them down. oh don't make me out to be bad sorry you were just telling me that i'm sending them off into the big wide world laura your friend comes downstairs and you don't like their outfit what are you doing i'm not gonna ruin their confidence you're gonna let them if they feel good i'm gonna let them go stop saying if stop giving it context like this i'm saving myself anyway but tell us in the comments below what you would do don't tear me apart i am nice to all my friends i promise and fashion is yeah and also you like looking the best in the group no no because then she'd be team me she'd be like off you go i have to say actually that is one thing i hate genuinely joking you wouldn't have to know when someone turns up and is looking like mega mega amazing in the friendship group i'm a star love that for them yeah i spend the rest of the night really stressed that i don't look as good as them oh yeah yeah i get right like for god's sake i didn't get the dress code right i should have put heels on like if i turn up in here i'm like yeah that is annoying yeah always go heels that's why i'd always be overdressed yeah completely me too but lots of people say to go underdressed because it looks a bit cooler but yeah i always think i do i always struggle with that though because i wouldn't go overdressed in a ball gown but i'd probably put on heels yeah i think sort of use any opportunity to look extra.

06Yeah. Yeah. Like, why not? Why, like, wear a good outfit. Yeah. Not the good outfits can't be casual, but I think, like, if you can add a bit of something. Or, like, if you're dressing it down, go, like, big jewellery and good make-up and make the effort that way. I would hate to be the most casual person. Yeah, oh, God, horrific. At dinner table. Horrific. Me too. I would just want to leave. Yeah, me too. Checked out already. When is that car coming because I need to leave? Yeah. I'm hating every second. I'll come back tomorrow and just you wait I think with friends I'm always like what are you wearing what are you wearing we do that before so I sort of know the vibe and then it's you know somebody's gone with something else and you're like what yeah what the fuck traitor it's like when you have friends over and you're like heels heels heels yeah we're all going to do that and then someone tells you I'm in a tracksuit and you're like yeah you've ruined the picture big time yeah yeah you've ruined the photos you're not allowed to be in any of that and also you ruin the vibe because as soon as someone sits in a tracksuit you sort of bring the mood down it's not fun anymore all of a sudden it is a slouchy casual affair let's do one more I introduced two friends who are now inseparable and regularly leave me out do I say something oh so hard I doubt they realise they feel like they're leaving you out I think the hard thing with threes is it does feel like that but ultimately you probably wouldn't be angry if two of your other friends were meeting up without you.

34Yeah. Because the three of you have the common connection, it feels like that's the case. But it probably isn't. Do you know what I mean? I don't think I'd say something. I'd probably try and organize something. Yeah. Like bring the fun. Yeah. Don't make it. Don't make it a thing. For me, I think it's more like, I'm going to be even more fun. Yeah. Yeah. Text and invite yourself to things. Yeah. Because otherwise, I do think addressing something like that does create a bit of tension in the friendship group. Yeah. I agree. and then it makes it awkward yeah yeah threes are hard to navigate they are but i think like being up front and just honest and respectful you can make it work yeah yeah yeah like a babe why don't you invite me is fine yeah exactly yeah not a long message to explaining how you've been left out exactly and then don't just invite one of them on purpose so it's like tip tat tip tat don't do that no do something all three of you and then it will blow over yeah agreed yeah because i think the more of your friends who know each other then the easier life is absolutely yeah it's a blessing yeah and of course they're going to get on because you're friends with them yeah and life friendships go up and down and it will all work itself out don't stress that was so fun i feel we've put our opinions forward god haven't we just don't take me down yeah that's it guys thanks so much for watching let us know what you think do the poll and tune in for next time Bye.
