0:39welcome to the sheer lux podcast i'm your host for today nana champong and i'm joined by jen and maya hi hi ladies we are going to be covering all of the highlights from this week from trending topics on sheer lux what the standout celebrity moments have been must have fashion picks and your dilemmas and much much more but before we get started I please would you subscribe to our channel it really helps us kind of grow and keep you up to date with all of our latest content and we will just love you forever so go for it but before we get into it ladies we are going to talk outfits and go around Maya I'm going to start with you can you describe what you're wearing to everyone I'm wearing knitwear again the second week in a row I can't believe it in August I know I'm an M &S knitwear.

1:28Where's your cardigan from? It is Marks and Spencers. I've just done a big M &S order. This is my favourite year to shop Marks and Spencers when it's like starting to go into a bit of autumn. I know it's not technically autumn, it's August. But you know, anyways. Jeans are as well from M &S and my suede belly flats are from H &M. And your t-shirt? Also M &S. M &S? Or M &S up top. What's that? Jen, talk us through what you're wearing.

1:54Jenn George:I'll start the shoes because those are M &S. so we'll just roll over they're the kind of other version of the brown loafers that everyone had the jeans are jigsaw the little blazer is Zara from like a year or two ago I have got on kind of tinted sunglasses but I like wearing them as glasses because I can see through them and these are Topshop white knitted dress which is from Mango and kind of cow print slash leopard print heels which are really old Zara nice we're actually all quite similar yeah all very tonal for today i've actually got this dress in brown as well but i was like it's summer you're not gonna wear brown yet put on the white one i'm in the opposite direction i'm like summer's over it's difficult to know what to wear isn't it yeah it's hard where the stress yeah i know i'm really gonna milk i'm so i need to get out all my summer clothes for this month and just like and just get through them yeah just get through them just milk it maybe i'll like have two outfits per day

2:55we are gonna start off with a new and noteworthy just sharing what we're loving at the moment maya i'm gonna start with you i watched something at the weekend that i was expecting to be total rubbish yeah but very very thoroughly enjoyed it the lg's actually talked about the podcast last week oh okay and it's the shark whisperer have you seen it on netflix i have I've actually watched it three times. What? Three times? Three times. So I watched it the day it came out. So me and one of my best friends, Holly, are really obsessed with sharks and whales. Really? It's our dream to swim with them. You would swim with a shark?

3:30I don't know about a shark, but after watching Shark Whisperer, she makes me feel like I could do it. I feel like she's the only person in the world who can do that, FYI. What kind of sharks are they? Like real big sharks? Yeah, they're like, she's swimming with a great white. Why? She touches it on its face. this is her like method she's she believes that she a like was made was put on this planet she's called ocean is from hawaii was very much like at one with the water her whole life but then started swimming and observing like small sharks in the area and wanted to like break the mist that they are these monsters essentially and she believes she's found a way to actually communicate with them like through her body language the way that she swims with them right they understand she's not a threat yeah she can put her hand literally on their nose like that and like kind of push them away a little bit but like it's almost a friendly thing like semi-circle and they just don't touch her wow it's crazy it's insane and she is also seeing it as a way of kind of like shark conservation whereas like other kind of marine biologists or whoever would do it above water yeah yeah so she's like yeah i mean she's phenomenal i think like a very brave do that in the first place but she clearly has like no fear about it she she really trusts her yeah she's never been bitten never had a shock attack yeah she goes with her boyfriend or her husband i don't think they're together i know they are the cameraman yeah they're together really honestly they're together she's seen it all i thought he was just really into her no no they're together you know everything she's not into you yeah he is really good at capturing like all of the pictures um okay okay kind of all the video footage but yeah I think if you haven't watched it I honestly I think highly recommend but yeah I've watched I watched it twice on my own and then when I was on holiday in Colombia my friend that I was with I made him watch it one night with me wow it does sound kind of like comfort watching it is a good watch yeah definitely and it I mean I'm still scared of sharks but you do watch it not think you're not terrified of the ocean watching it it's just very beautiful yeah um but I would never swim with a shark regardless still after watching that yeah I said like I said she did make me I think I the thought of it I'd be like oh yeah I would love to but when it came down to it I would be like far she doesn't like she

5:50Jenn George:doesn't say to people like you can do it no no she does she doesn't encourage people online to go and do it but she takes people out oh yeah okay she'll take groups of people yes and they will free swim with sharks all around that's your next holiday yeah like not in a cage yeah it's I would definitely I nearly did it in Dominica once with a sperm whale wow well I'd do it with a whale yeah they're less I don't know I'd still be so scared of a whale yeah any of them so yeah if you've not watched Shark Whisper on Netflix yeah I've watched it would highly recommend it I'll get to my laser Jaws is now trending as well because of it classic yes of course of course Jen what are you loving at the moment I am loving everyone's love for the Oasis tour yeah oh yeah I'm not going I'm going to the second to last date in September.

6:37Jenn George:Oh, wow. So I've got real FOMO. Yeah. Yeah. It's like they added two extra dates. But it's just so nice to see everyone like come together for something. And I've not heard a single negative comment so far, which is really surprising because people love to hate on everything. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that is just like keeping me going at the moment. It's just nice to see. Like kids, adults. I know. Yes, the adult generation. Georgie said she went and she had like a 64-year-old next to her. then some kids and the merch is really good too yeah the merch is great I'm quite enjoying seeing everyone's outfit yeah everyone just gets so into dressing for festivals now or like concerts I know it's like we're Beyonce with you same old thing isn't it yeah everyone was dressed as cowgirls I was like this is great yeah like actual like chaps with arse out I actually you know everyone says brats and whatever this summer was cowgirls summer like the cowgirls were everywhere I would like walk off a train and everyone would just be in cowboy boots and a cowboy hat yeah yeah definitely even when Beyonce and Sabrina weren't on yeah just keep going turn up to work in a cowboy hat we love that so for me the Gianni Versace retrospective has just opened yeah at the Arches in London Bridge it is on until March next year so we've got a long time to go and see it yeah obviously if you're a lover of fashion um Gianni Versace and Versace generally I still love to this day because it's so colourful and the prints and so recognizable isn't it yeah exactly instantly um so yeah I just love any fashion exhibition just getting to look at like pretty gold yeah yeah quite an interesting venue as well but yeah so I will definitely be booking that but yeah on until the 1st of March I was like that's great because usually I'm like oh my gosh I haven't got time to like go and see these things yeah hopefully means it also isn't that busy you know like the crowds and the lines aren't too long yeah it's not too crazy

8:38Jenn George:jen i still have never found like a 10 out of 10 pair of jeans and i don't think my body's that weird a shape that it should be impossible it shouldn't be that difficult but i hear really good things about that is it a goldie yeah jeans yeah so i think i'm gonna invest nice straight leg ones yeah that's what i'm gonna go for yeah nice yeah their jeans are very good yeah i also actually really rate cos and abercrombie for okay yeah yeah cos column jeans are so like a straight leg yeah okay let's try that i can't chime in on this sorry you don't you know you don't wear jeans yeah i've got so many pairs of jeans but like none of them are there's a couple of nine out of tens there's no 10 out of 10 oh interesting that's a good challenge for the year yeah yeah yeah anything else and then I really love like a trans seasonal knit so a bit like yours or like I love like a cotton knit or a linen knit it's a really lovely sort of pale beige almost like silvery color linen knit for Massimo Dutti which I've got my eye on very nice and then there's a really nice I think it's an American brand called Alex Mill and it's quite preppy yeah but they do a lovely sort of button-up knit which I think with my perfect jeans would look really nice so just watch this space I'll be wearing the whole look once they fit me when you come in we'll be like oh yeah that's the one that's the one we've got it Maya what have you got your eye on at the moment I have only just discovered Uniqlo as a brand oh really where have you been I know I know I've been living under rocks I just have never been tempted to go in yeah I don't know why it's never really pulled me in but i've started shopping a few of their because i've got a section on their website called the 30 best sellers so i bought a pair of trousers from there which are amazing summer trousers like it's all like a cargo but a bit smarter so that unicode is very much your vibe as well so this is what i'm discovering i'm so surprised you've not been there before and i've just bought their new knitted braless tank tops oh people love those oh my god they're so good but they have like dresses yeah jumpers yeah i mean for traveling in the like sort of just vesty ones are perfect like no one wants to wear a bra at home lounging around or traveling so tick tick tick but their new knitted ones are like high neck almost like a turtleneck i guess um no sleeves like good for this time of year when you don't want to wear yeah yeah yeah really nice so i bought them in pretty much every color love that um and also are we allowed to give m &s any more love but they're black loafers yeah that are like the brown viral one yeah yeah i've just bought those as well yeah they'll sell out quickly i know what else did you get in your haul this entire outfit those black loafers um a pair of black backless loafers and like a horse bit black belt i do love a bit of m &s i have to say i don't really shop it that much in the summer it's always the autumn winter yeah yeah also it's the only shop that my because i'm of the age where i should obviously buy all my own things but if my mom ever comes to london it's the one shop that she'll like buy me clothes from because she trusts it yeah she's like she's like happy to spend her own money on me in that shop does your mom still do that but only m &s like it's the only shop that she'd ever buy me stuff from so i'll just drag her down there i know that's really sweet i love that i want to know next time she comes down i want to know what she's bought you from okay i'll do a little haul with my mom so cute well what are you guys uh transitional i am still it is summer it's still summer so for me i have seen the cutest still sardine summer crochet green bag that's got kind of little gold sardines hanging off the side of it from sandro like a little yeah it's kind of like a mini bag like it'll be it's like a fun holiday bag essentially and I am still I think there's like a weekend Ibiza that's getting taken on yeah so that's getting taken on at the end of the month and then lastly again because it's still summer these mumus summer's over still got one month at least and then I'm also like I'm always like September we're going to have an Indian summer guys no I'm ready for the winter I'm not ready these mumu sunglasses sunglasses which are again they're the type of sunglasses like this where you could wear indoors or outdoors um but they've got a really kind of unusual gold frame kind of 70s style and i have had my eye on them pretty much all summer i'm like now's the time yeah nice get them at duty free when you're on your way you know duty free doesn't exist anymore babe what do you mean i mean it's a bit of a discount isn't it no nothing no oh my gosh guys this is like there's no at v80 since brexit duty free does not exist what yeah you have been paying the same prices this is not breaking news honestly we were just having this chat in our fashion meeting this morning so i was like the airport just isn't the same for me anymore since duty i used to go to town at the airport and now i'm just there for like the free apples in the lounge free apples the buffet i'm like it's nothing i don't need to shop you will get duty free like i will shop if you shop in europe yes so i do a lot of stuff like in paris now and then oh you claim it back yeah oh they're just generally shopping there rather than in the airport yeah yeah but yeah nothing can the airport guys anymore wow i can't say i actually really duty free shop that often but that has kind of surprised me actually i would also like an east west bag i feel like i've been eyeing up people wearing like the mania tellier ones yeah so cool i would like I would.

14:19I actually bought the Jacquemus one. So I got it in black. Charlotte and I were ironing it up and we did the Dublin trip. Nice. Came back and I was like, got to have it, got to have it. And then got it and I was like, oh no, I don't. Oh no.

14:31Jenn George:Only because you know what it is? It's the handles on it. I have another Jacquemus bag and they're basically exactly the same. They're kind of like these gold and silver square and circle like knobs. And it just was too similar to the bag I had already. I was like, if I'm going to do an East to West bag, I want it to be like completely different. oh so you did return it yes i did yeah yeah i did return it i thought it was such shame yeah shame it's still on the shelf no no it got returned um so i am also still on the hunt for because that's free money now yeah exactly girl maths i mean i've definitely spent it but yeah girl maths it was like got some shoes they're basically free

15:40Jenn George:them is with arena forte who well my personal interest is she has an amazing beauty brand skincare brand yeah but also her dad is rocco forte who owns a load of hotels so you imagine her interior design taste is just going to be yeah yeah because she just grew up in these sort of top tier beautiful hotel rooms yeah and i've had a little sneak peek at the content and it's just stunning stunning really like clean quite neutral but at the same time like with lots of textures and interest it's also a whitewashed house um so that's coming up I think next week so one to look out for yeah gorgeous nice mine's actually YouTube content too I filmed last week my like sorry post summer makeup routine whisper it she's killing me post summer holiday makeup the reason why I'm in this mood is because I've done all my holidays now yeah so I've written it off there's still time no I'm done so I filmed my post-summer holiday makeup routine for YouTube yeah and we're going to be going through all of the team's sort of makeup tips and tricks and beauty routines so I'm quite looking forward to seeing how everyone does their makeup in the office I mean mine is very slapdash I really wish I could be one of those girls that's like takes like loads of time I just really we realised the other day in the beauty team the three of us me, Oren and Sabna none of us have ever used a beauty blender really?

17:06Jenn George:I've not even tried it never even tried it which I don't know if that makes us like the worst beauty of the two that ever existed excuse me but I've just never you know my beauty dressing table has never been next to my sink so the idea of doing the wet bounce whatever it is is just standing up no thanks no I'm already sat down I'm not going to move yes i do yeah we've never used one you don't just like spray it with like a mist or something aren't they also some people say they unless you really clean them unhygienic yeah yeah so those won't feature in our hearts no beauty blenders for you i loved nadia phillips did a wardrobe tour oh yeah um with lou which was just everything she had in her wardrobe i was like tick tick tick it's a lot of emphasis on kind of like evening wear so yeah exactly she's quite yeah yeah i love any excuse to kind of like get dressed up and put on a great dress pair of heels she had some really great jewelry as well um so yeah that was some really great inspiration if you've not seen that definitely go and check it out it is fun seeing like inside people's wardrobes and homes like you know glamorous girls that perhaps are on instagram you don't get to see that side of their I think we've got Charlotte Sanders coming up and I'm quite intrigued to see I mean apparently it's monochrome it's always back and white it's a brand isn't it yeah but I think she's hidden things away like a blue jumper it must be that with other colour in there I know that one I'm like I just couldn't honestly the thought of it I'm like but how I think it must take such brain power to like never stray away from black and white like to only like that blows my mind yeah one of my friends who's a makeup artist amy adams she won't mind me saying she only wears black and i've like been to her house and it is just rails and rails of black clothes and that she's been like that for probably about i don't know 40 50 years and what's the reason she just thinks it's the most aesthetically pleasing did she work on counter ever because i feel like a lot of brands when your makeup artist is on counter you have to wear all black yeah so then it goes from there i don't think she ever has but there is something in that she wear lots of accessories to like no not really and also how often can you be buying black clothing like how different can it be every time well i know for me a color wardrobe or just having some sort of variation just brings like so much joy but you must find joy in yeah that must be their kit yeah so they just yeah they find it in different ways yeah in monotony more power to you in your monochrome wardrobe can i just say i think charlotte sanders looks amazing i'm like like yeah i hope like 100 also i think with her as well it's the silhouettes and the shapes and like they can be texture and i mean so there's lots of different ways yeah i would be straying away from it too often there's no way i think i could do like gray beige navy blue i don't wear a lot of color but i definitely couldn't do just yeah that's just more cat and also the white like the clean aim yeah i have a black dog i just i just be covered in dog hair all the time so it's like one girl i don't follow her but she always pops up on my instagram she only wears green only green yes i'm like how how did she settle on that is it like aim yeah yeah what is her name is it like a environmental statement something like that yeah no she just loves the color green okay she's called like the green something or other she's like donned herself the green something or other that is dedication yeah like quite limiting to pick one color yeah crazy she must have been so thrilled was it like two years ago kermit green is like a huge trend she was like it's my moment it works exactly it really works no it does like it looks fantastic and i'm like you again you're these people are just doing so well it's sticking into like their lane and yeah and committing yeah to to the cause

21:09Jenn George:we are going to move on to celebrity moment of the week so mary phillips who is a makeup artist who most famously does all of kendall's looks she also does hayley as well sometimes she is finally launching her own brand and yeah and you know i'm not like i am very much um of the opinion that we don't need any more beauty brands but if we're going to get them coming from a proper proper expert who's tried thousands of products is exciting yeah and she's really known for her the whole thing is under painting so she will do contouring and highlighting and sometimes blush before foundation oh i've never seen that yeah it's quite interesting it does it does look good we should do a video on it actually shouldn't we so it's all sort of it's quite natural looking Please can you do a video on it?

21:58Jenn George:Without a beauty vendor. So I think what I've seen so far is there's like a sort of concealing palette, very kind of neutral, chic packaging. I'm not sure when it's coming to the UK, but it launches in America next week. And then on the topic of experts bringing out brands, Funmi Feta, who's a beauty icon in the UK. I'm so excited about this. She has announced that she's launching a salon in Liberty, which is going to focus on black hair black beauty and just um really honing in on specific needs for that hair type which is not really been done before yeah it's just quite it's quite an underserved market yeah and she's also bringing out like a hair care range to go with it so like her kind of reasoning thinking behind it obviously black women can't just kind of like pop into a hair salon in central london really easily so yeah and i think the fact that it's liberty like it's so central yeah she has obviously been at vogue for a really long time so i just know that the products are gonna be she wouldn't bring brand out unless she really really believed in it yeah so i'm really excited for that yeah and for her as well because she deserves all the flowers i can't wait to get my hair done in there my favorite moment i mean it was burner boy at the euros yeah parade victory parade because i think no one had that what is going on no one had that on their bingo card do you think he did I wonder when he got the call went to a form at the Euro victory parade women's England manager is a big fan of Burner Boy apparently so they surprised her and got him out on stage she had a little sing along with him it was so so cute they both looked so happy together they weren't two people that you were generally put together.

23:46Jenn George:But I loved it for both of them. Yeah, it was really nice. So that was really fun. And obviously congratulations to the women's team as well on an epic. So many people turned up as well. Yeah, 65 ,000 people. Because it was like a Tuesday afternoon or something, but it was packed. Yeah, it's so good to see the support. Yeah. Love that for them. And Maya, your favourite? Can someone confirm if this is true or not? Are Liam Newton and Pam, they're dating? Yes, they are dating. He confirmed, I know, it's like just adorable. he hasn't dated since his wife died yeah no he did date but only for like two years he's been pretty much like single forever that was like 15 years ago a long time ago yeah and now they're just like canoeling on the red carpet left right and centre actually which obviously I know this always happens when there's like a romantic lead but it makes you want to see the film yes I mean my sceptical brain is like is it all a stunt that's why I am because I feel like this happens time but I think for him the way that they talk about each other is so beautiful and even the children are commenting on it now yeah fingers crossed I know I'm like have high hopes for them and she's just like she just seems so lovely this would be her sixth marriage if they get married is that right would it married five times is it five times or is it four husbands five times did she get married twice oh Tommy Lee was twice yeah so yeah five times this would be her sixth time if they do get married I'm gunning for them I think it's so cute they really suit each other don't you think yeah yeah really really lovely and yeah like i say it actually makes me want to go and see the films yeah they're doing that do you remember the originals yeah i do yeah i'm quite surprised they're doing that because they were quite not very pc yeah so i wonder how they've had to make it i wonder how far i hope they've kept it a little bit pushing the boundaries because that's the whole point of them we are talking ride or die beauty products or treatments jen i am really in my tools era at the moment so I'm using a body brush in the morning and then in the evening I'm using a combination of two Foreo products okay so I use their LED mask which helps with the sort of pigmentation of surface skin brightening etc and then I've just started really religiously using the Foreo Bare 2 which is a microcurrent device so it has four different types of microcurrent that work across the 69 muscles in your face and neck yeah so like no spot is missed yeah and it works really deeply to sculpt and tone the muscles but it also works on loads of different levels so the microcurrent also is proven to stimulate collagen and elastin production which is going to help smooth fine lines and wrinkles and it also helps to bring micro circulation to your face which is bringing blood to your face and energy to your face which is going to help with radiance and glow as well so it's like i think of it like a facialist in your hand yeah as much as i love all my facialists out there and please have me in the treatment i will be back i will be back in the meantime between appointments i use this is it and every night like to get the best results yeah you want to use it really consistently so at least a few nights a week but for like an instant lift if you've got an event to go to or something it will do that as well and if you guys want to try it or if breaks me get a little white pass it around oh my gosh maya what can't you live without at the moment i am obsessed i think i've mentioned it probably on every single shillux platform sorry but the sculpted by amy brightening concealer is unbelievable i've like not touched another concealer since using it i really i think it's amazing i don't know why it's so different to others yeah i'd say it's most like the nars sort of like radiant creamy one that's what i use but perhaps not as thick maybe it's a bit lighter but i just i just am obsessed i think it's the best can see that it doesn't end up in your no you have any but i actually do find creasing is a bit of an issue for me and not at all yeah and it goes really well with powder like it sets really nicely i'm obsessed yeah i have products amazing what's yours i am loving hot escape nars palette at the moment which is just it's like a little um quad of cheek colors and they are perfect for being on holiday just cheeks all cheeks yeah all cheek but kind of like really bright like there's a really bright poppy pink and kind of deeper reddy pink and then some kind of like corals as well are they all shimmery or is there a mix of shimmer and matte two shimmer two matte yeah so you could probably take it across your eyes if you want yeah yeah definitely but yeah they're the type of because they're so bright I probably wouldn't wear them at home unless it was kind of like for a night out but on holiday and I'm really in my kind of like blusher era yeah I yeah yeah I got really into it recently

29:08we are going to move on to dilemmas which I love first up summer holiday dresses sorry I'm going to go straight in this. It's still summer. Let's all agree on that. Someone would like to know, have we got any favourite brands or any holiday dresses that you've bought recently? I wore Dish all summer long, to be fair. I feel like their dresses are just throw-on dresses but look amazing. Like, you don't have to think about what we're wearing really. A pair of sandals, gold earrings, you're good to go. You're done. Yeah. It's finished, yeah.

You'd normally do shirts but they branched out into some other stuff this year and it's it's very short it's probably not office appropriate but perfect for holidays yeah really gorgeous like proper kind of phone box red yeah really nice lots of gold jewelry yeah i think for me i mean so many brands that i could list but reformation i think have done my favorite summer dresses this year from like linen ones to kind of little polka dot kind of like racer skirt ones and anything backless as well i've been loving they have like yeah they've really nailed it i feel like their shapes are just really yeah just staining and beautiful yeah really flattering yeah kind of sculpturing so yeah hopefully enjoy your summer holidays or whatever you're looking for summer dresses for one korean skincare item that's a must-have so beauty by joseon we love all of their products and actually their spf the one one of our sheer luxe beauty icons awards oh amazing really gorgeous i wore it all my holiday this summer and also doesn't get in your eyes at all it's lovely really nice texture that sounds divine we'll check that out of you i don't use any korean skincare although i would like to yeah get into it apparently korean skincare is making up 20 of boot sales at the moment wow and that's the whole of boots including toothpaste and deodorants and shampoos oh my gosh yeah so we need to that is huge it's huge i know so we need to we all need to yeah we need to get on it we're missing the trick yeah right i recently turned down a high paying job because it didn't align with my values now i'm questioning whether i made a huge mistake when do you follow your gut and when do you follow the money good question it's a really good question how questioning your values are we talking yeah how far away are we moving from from i wonder why she's got such regrets or if she's thinking about potentially she regrets not taking it I think ultimately if you had a gut feeling to start with that it wasn't right then it's probably not right yeah and you just got to own that and be comfortable with it yeah do some daily affirmations you'll be fine type thing yeah yeah I think also it depends what the values are because I think there is a question about whether you should separate your personal life and your professional life sometimes so if the values are something that come across both definitely follow that but if it's something that maybe you know you can apart like church and state if you can do that precisely yeah but um it sounds like it's something that was really important to her so yeah I think I think the right thing will come along obviously yes we all like money but it's not always it's yeah it's not the be all and end all it's not always about that and you need to be able to kind of sit within yourself yeah every day and wake up every morning and not have like a gut-wrenching feeling that you're going into a job yeah we spend so much of our lives at work like you have to be comfortable with what you're doing yeah exactly so by the sounds of it it sounds like you made the right decision one of the questions is uh best concealer i know the answer um jen best concealer for you i love the long com do uh an all-over concealer they call it but basically it's it's uh a concealer and foundation in one but it's got a lovely really lovely doe foot applicator and it stretches really fast so you need a tiny amount and it just goes a really long way yeah really great shade range i think it's 40 shades and it has a nice i'm not about a glowy finish because my skin gets oily in the afternoon it's it's not it's i would say it's sort of slightly matte but without being flat the finish yeah really lovely been using it for years my favorite concealer is the nars light reflecting concealer which i just think is phenomenal like it really does kind of like brighten yeah it's very bright yeah very very brightening which I need a lot of the time.

33:26Jenn George:As concealers generally like the three sort of hero ones are all amazing. And last question on here. What is your go-to Manny? Well, it depends if they mean colour or shape or destination. You're the queen of Manny's. I know. I'm going to be really sad to see these ones go. I never have the same design twice. You say the same person every time. Yes and then. No, I do. I do have one girl, but I went to another girl to do these just because they are like so intricate. It kind of took it to the next level. But yeah, I've been going to shout out EC2 now. Hoxton, love you. What's your next style going to be then?

34:09They'll be somewhere related. I don't know. For me, it's always about kind of like colour. I like looking down and my nails kind of like sparking joy. so I like also like it when every nail is a different design and do you just say go for it no I make a mood board do you yeah wow how do you have time for that Lana yeah I sometimes sometimes I go in with a design and I'm like let's just do like a version of this but not like this one for example I will go on Pinterest or I'll go on Instagram and I will see one nail on one hand

34:42Jenn George:take a screenshot and then what do you have like a net like do you name the designs this one was just called summer holiday okay it's really out there guys but yeah it's always it's just fun it's a nice little i'm so boring compared to you i pretty much always go in for a milky white or like a dusky pink like this like on the base although these are so bad they're the most out grown i think i've ever had my nails callum told me the other day that he hates them oh almost five weeks oh my god what did he give a reason he was just like I didn't want to tell you because we were going to a wedding on holiday the day you got your nails done but I don't really like those do you think a French manicure is like a man repeller well I I thought it was very like classic and I thought that's they would love that this is so niche and specific but he said the shade of pink was too artificial oh no so if I get it again at least he's paying attention I mean like that is actually true that's such a good he does like nails but i think i'm too boring for him when it comes to nails because i've got a friend amy who has like really fun nails as well yeah every week she's just mixing it up yeah and he always comments how cool her nails are and i'm like all right sorry have you ever taken him for manicure no i took my husband once for a pedicure with me yeah and the whole guy sat down and the woman was like started you know firing away at his feet she was like you should really come more often and he's like this is the first time I've come in 37 years sorry I think he loved it to go he loved it it was like my local I go to a little local place yeah in Wandsworth and you know it wasn't sort of like a flashy you know we weren't going to be seen there yeah there's no chance one of his mates is going to walk in and has he been since no no he did he was going to say did he enjoy the experience yeah he liked it but no he's not been back I think he just doesn't want to like it's not his priority when it comes to his money yeah fair beer or pedicure so what do you do when you have your money I keep it quite simple these are actually quite short at the moment for me I normally have a little bit longer but it's it's hard to believe I actually went up until I was 24 when I say my nails were down there they were like three millimeters oh my god so badly my whole life and um what made you stop do you know what it was so my parents tried all through my life they would like i will buy you a bike and nothing worked yeah and i had that horrible stuff you put on them and eventually it was because i was working at a magazine and i just started in ad sales and i was going to have i was going to meetings with clients and brands and having sales and and it was back in the day you still printed stuff out so i would be like passing papers and it was just so embarrassing so that just made me stop they're very healthy yeah they're healthy now this is 10 or so years later and i i go for a little bit of color but normally like pinks reds sort of pastels um and i if they're asking where to go then i go to a local place called um missy me uh which is in wandsworth but i also love townhouse they take a while they take a while so give yourself time yeah because they're perfectionists yeah yeah yeah yeah i've heard really good things about is it so shell in westfield ukrainian manicure yeah I've heard very good things about that yeah there's one in Bassey Power Station as well yeah I feel like I might check that out yeah we love that ladies well that's it oh I know yeah actually gone so quickly could do this all day thank you so much for joining us this week again please make sure you subscribe wherever you listen to your podcast it really does help us out and until next week we'll see you later
